Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, here we are last break of the
day on this Friday. Yes, we love us some Fridays.
Thank you all for listening. Junior, you have a question
for Steve, so we can take you that off. Talk
about pressure off. How do you deal with pressure? How
do you get good at dealing with pressure?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Do you even feel pressure? Of course, you're not gonna
get through this thing without no pressure. The thing of
it is is I guess over the years, man, what
has happened to me is my father taught this to me.
(00:40):
My father always taught me and my brothers to turn
around and face it, face it head on. Whatever situation
besets you, turn around and face it head on, deal
with it. Face it. Sometimes you gotta put your knuckles
in your lower back, be in your knees, tilt back
(01:03):
and deal with it. But deal with it by facing
it and then facing it. Has taught me a lot
about pressure. Pressure. Pressure tightens its grip on you when
it's not dealt with. Because pressure, unchecked and unfaced, it
(01:24):
just tightens the grip. Man, it becomes bigger than it
really is. It's like you imagining somebody behind that door.
The best thing you should do is open that door, man,
so you can deal with it, because you can't. You
can't leave that door shut that you think somebody behind
it and go on it throughout your house. But you
(01:47):
but you know it's somebody behind that door. But instead
of you opening that door and deal with it, you
actually think you're gonna go on in there and just
take a shower. You think you're just going in there
and eat your TV, you're gonna watch some dinner. You
think you're just going in there and pull them covers
up over your head and go to bed. Now, man,
do you know what would happen if you don't open
that door and deal with it. That food ain't gonna
(02:08):
taste that good man, You're gonna be nervous in that shower.
Ain't away in the world. You can pull them covers
up over your head and go to bed because that
thing that's behind that door in your mind, it begins
to grow, fester, multiply, and the next thing you do
that ain't just somebody behind that door. That's God's Zilla
(02:32):
back there, that's King Kong, that's some unforeseen that's the
lockedness monster. That's Bigfoot back door. When all it was
had you opened the door, and dealt with it. Probably
found out, Man, it wasn't really nothing, just some noise.
I'm saying all that in a strange way to say
(02:54):
I deal with pressure because I face it, and because
I have this incredible relationship with God. He has given
me the ability to endure. I know how to endure.
I'm going through something right now, but I'm enduring. But
what gives me the stript to endure it is because
of my relationship with God, because I know God got me.
No matter what happens to me, I know God is
(03:16):
in control no matter what they try to do. Donald
Trump is not in control of me. Donald Trump has
no say so in my life. I don't give him
the permission because I don't like his decision making process.
But I showed you like God's decision making process because
everything that happens to me is designed for me to prosper.
(03:38):
For all of you that have your faith in Man,
you're under some pressure because you are at every beckoning
whim of what they do. I'm not. I don't live
my life like that. Yeah, it's pressure being who I am.
It's pressure being in the situation I am I'm in.
But it's pressure on everybody, all y'all, ain't all y'all
(04:01):
under some form of pressure, all of you. It's pressure
to stay up, y'all. Under pressure to stay afloat, y'all.
Under pressure to make it happen. You under pressure to deliver.
You underpressure because your family counting on you. You underpressure
because you've been left out here by yourself. When somebody
(04:21):
promised you they'd be there now they gone, Yeah, you underpressure.
You're under pressure causes to do now? You're under pressure
because it was due on the first. You didn't have
it on the first and you still ain't got it
on this day. Were all underpressure. So how do you
deal with it? Best advice I can give you? You
gotta have a relationship with God.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Man.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
God is the ultimate equalizer. God could do anything but fail.
Do you know that God has the ability to fix anything?
Do you know that God has the answer to all
of your questions and concerns. Do you know that God
is not a god of confusion? Do you know that
God has the ability to straighten it out for you,
that he can clear your path? Do you know that
(05:03):
if you give God permission to operate in your life,
that God can order your steps and make your pathway
clear that you don't have to be confused and wondering
what's next. Do you know that God has the ability
to give you an immeasurable amount of peace? Do you
understand that God can straighten it out in your mind?
Where other people think you are just unconcerned and aloof
(05:24):
what's wrong with you? Don't you see what's going on? Yeah? Yeah,
I do. I see exactly what's going on. You ain't
worried about it? No? No, you're not put him in Steve.
Do you hear what they said in the news. Y'all
heard it? That don't bother you. I didn't turn it
(05:47):
over to God. And let me tell y'all something a
lot of people do yourself with this piece of advice.
Stop worrying about things that you have no control. Do
you know that's a crazy thing to worry about something
that you have no control over. If I were you,
(06:09):
I would take that worry in concern and turn it
over to God and go on about your business. Go
to the beach, go play yourself some golf, Go play
yourself some cards, go to the spa and relax. Because
if it ain't nothing you can do about it, because
one thing about it. If you're gonna pray about it,
don't worry about it. But if you're gonna worry about it,
then don't pray about it. We've all heard that y'all
(06:31):
have a great day to day. Turn your life over
to God and let him drive for a while. And
it's easier to ride with him than it is with yourself. Steve.
