Speaker 2 (00:27):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Nephew's subject. My honey and my hubby are friends. Dear
Stephen Shirley. I have had a special friend for twenty years,
and I was with him when I met the man
I married. I call my friend my honey, and my
husband is my hubby. It took a good minute for
my hubby to get used to my honey being around.
(00:49):
My honey is very flamboyant and exuberant. That's the only
way for me to describe him. He loves to dress,
he always smells wonderful, and he gives gives me style
and home decorating advice all the time. After my first child,
my honey was there by my side daily to make
sure I was fed, and I was cute when people
(01:11):
stopped by to see the baby. My Hobby learned to
appreciate my Honey because Honey was ready and willing to
help us out and give us a break from the kids.
Honey is here in the blink of an eye if
I need him. So I feel strange for writing to
you about being jealous. Right after I had the baby,
I was lying in bed alone and I could hear
(01:33):
Honey and Hubby in the kitchen cooking and laughing. He
even allowed Honey to bring his boyfriend over a couple
of times. The three of them went to watch the
game last week and left me home with the kids.
I am jealous of their great friendship. When I am
on the phone with Honey, my husband, my Hobby yells
(01:53):
from the background to tell Honey, Hi, they've made plans
to watch the big game at our house and didn't
even tell me. Honey planned to cook and everything. He
and I usually go out on days like that while
my hubby watches the game with his friends. I want
Honey back. I hate to admit this, but I was
happier when my Hobby avoided Honey.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Should I feel blessed that they're so cool.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Well, if you're feeling how you're feeling right now, left
out and jealous of their tight relationship, then no, this
is not a blessing to you, not at all, And
not that it's too late. But why haven't you spoken
up before now? Because they are really really close. Now
they're doing things and leaving you out. If your best
(02:37):
friend was a woman, you would have shut it down
a long time ago. You would have run her off,
accusing her of trying to get with your man. If
it was a woman, this is your friend for twenty years,
you ought to be able to talk.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
To him about it. Talk to your husband too, Tell
them both how you feel.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Find out why you're being left out, why they're choosing,
you know, to leave you out.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
I know what's going on with them, Steve.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Well, don't nobody want to tell her? Don't nobody want
to You've got news. Yeah, they don't. Nobody want to
tell her. The title of this letter should be ain't
nobody told me nothing? That should be the title of
(03:29):
this letter. I don't know how else to make of
this letter. I don't know, but I'm listening. You know,
she she had this friend for twenty years and she
was friends when when she met her husband, I called
(03:51):
my friend honey, and my husband.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Is my hobby. Ain't that cute?
Speaker 4 (03:58):
And took a good minute from my hubby to get
used to Honey being around.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Now, this is the way she wants to make us hear.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
This what she trying to say, because you gotta be
careful nowadays in this climate. So she's being politically correct.
She says, my honey is very flamboyant and exuberant, and
that's the only way for me to describe him. Oh,
I ain't the only way. But if we're gonna let
(04:27):
you have it, you wanna just leave it there, We're
gonna We're gonna leave it there with you, mister flamboyant
and exuberant. He loves to dress. He always smells wonderful.
He gives me styling home decorating advice all the time.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Or who who who better?
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Who better to teach you how to dress at home
decorating advice than honey? I mean, I mean, he is
flamboyant and exuberant. Let's just keep using your term so
I don't get in no trouble. But anyway, after I
had my first child, my honey was there by my
(05:08):
side daily, make sure I was fed and I was
cute when people stopped by to see the baby. You
better be that honey. My hobby learned to appreciate my
honey because Honey was ready and willing to help us
out and give us a break from the kid.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Okay, So that that how it started.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
This is how your man started to learn to appreciate
the flambuoyant and exuberant friend you had, because you get
Honey is here in the blink of an eye.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
I know that's right if I need him.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
So I feel strange for writing about this being jealous.
Right after I had the baby, I was laying in
bed alone and I could hear Honey.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
And Hubby in the kitchen cooking and laughing.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
He even allowed Honey to bring his boy friend over
a couple of times. What you don't see nothing, all
this cooking and laughing in the kitchen. Three of the
none you can you don't see none?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
All right?
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Hang on, Steve, hang on, we have we come back doors.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
The new title of this letter was which is what
we're gonna get into in this half is? Ain't nobody
told her nothing? Callum Stevens. She had h thank you gee.
She had.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
She had a friend for twenty years and the best
way for her to describe him is he's flamboyant. He's flamboyant,
and he is, you know, exuberant. He's very good at dressing,
smells good all the time. He can decorate a house,
(08:14):
and he's there in the blink of an eye. Took
a while, then you said, and you let it. Took
a while for your hobby to get used to your honey.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
But after you had your first.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Child, he was dead every day, Honey was and when
people came by to see the baby he made you
was looking cute, and you know, so people.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Stopped by, you would look your best. Then you say,
your hobby, learn to appreciate.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Honey, because Honey was ready and willing to help us
out and give us a break from the kids.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Honey is here in the blink of an eye.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
All right now, honey, so now if I need him.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
So I feel strange for writing you about being jealous.
Whoa whoa, whoa wha? Where did that comes from? All seton?
See you gotta pay attention to these now.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
So I feel strange about writing this letter about being
jealous because now, right after I had the baby, I
was lying in bed alone, keyword, I was lying in
bed alone, and I could hear honey and Hubby in
the kitchen, cooking and laugh My wife has several flamboyant
(09:26):
and exuberant people in her life, in her circle of friends,
her and her girls. It's a couple of fellas that's
in that group. You know, that's flamboyant an exuberant. She
ain't never heard me in the kitchen laughing, cooking with
(09:47):
now one of 'em.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I'm just saying.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
But when yo, her husband was in the kitchen laughing
and cooking with Honey, and then he even allowed Honey
to bring his boyfriend over a couple of times.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Oh, he just comfortable now. And if I told.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
You, ain't nobody said nothing to you, well you rode
in to me.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
So here we go.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
The three of them went to watch the game last
week and left me home with the kids.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
That what they told you? Ain't nobody told you?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Now for all the other football games, you and Honey
was out shopping. Now all of a sudden, the three
of them going to watch the game, anybody tell you.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
And left me at home with the kids.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
So much for helping out, so much, for blink of
an eye. I was jealous of their great friendship. And
if I told you when I'm on the phone with Honey.
My husband yells from the background. Tell Honey, I said, Hi,
what anybody told you? And anybody told you that what
(11:10):
we do? Okay? Now here we go. They've made plans
to watch the big game at our house and didn't
even tell me, Honey, plan to cook and everything here.
And I usually go out on days like that while
my hubby watches the game with his friends.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Or your hubby got some new friends.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Your husband and friends were Honey, Honey boyfriend, and they
ain't told you they watching the game over there? You
finn to meet some whole another set of flamboyant and
exuberant friends.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Your house girl. Anybody told you? I want Honey back?
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Who woa wo wo who oh the old sweat somebody
told you? See you're switching in and out, So now
I want Honey back back back from who. I hate
to meet this? I hate to me when I was
happier when my husband avoided Honey. But you don't avoid
Honey no more. He don't avoid Honey or his boyfriend.
(12:14):
Should I feel blessed that they so cool? Blessed?
Speaker 3 (12:17):
What ain'tbody told you?
Speaker 1 (12:18):
What?
Speaker 3 (12:19):
You're not listening? Should you feel blessed. Well.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
I guess if you always wanted your husband to be
more open minded, I.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Guess that's a blessing.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
I guess if you wanted your husband to see how
beautiful of a man Honey really was, that has happened.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
You know.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
If you wanted your husband to start accepting Honey's lifestyle
and and and have his boyfriend over, then that has happened.
If you wanted them to have a better relationship, you
know they in there laughing and cooking and you know
all that. You know, but it ain't it ain't that.
