I got to turn the mouth turn you probably got
to turn mouth.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Water the water up.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Look me, come.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
Come out, you're think, I sure will.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
radio show.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
I want to share something with you this morning.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
In order for God to bless you, you have to
you have to have something you know and and and
that means I guess I guess what I'm saying is
God can only bless you by your faith and your effort.
That's the only way He can bless you, by your
(02:35):
faith and your effort. Now, because of his grace, he
gives us so many things that we don't even we
don't ask for, we don't thank him for, you know,
we don't even have on the list. You know. Oftentimes,
you know, many of us have health. We never thank
him for it. We get another opportunity to wake up
(02:57):
the next day. We never thank him for it. We
take so many small things because of his grace, we
just take for granted, like it's just supposed to pop
off for us just like that. Okay, including that, what
all this wonderful things he does us and he blesses
us even far beyond our wildest dreams. I'm talking about
(03:18):
myself now and a lot of you listening. Without us
confiding or conferring in him, he still watches watches over us.
I'm talking to all of us now. Here is what
you get blessed on through your faith and your efforts.
I mean, he really gives you, give him something to
(03:40):
work with. This what I'm saying, He's gonna do certain
things for us automatically because he just loves us. He
automatically does things for us that we take so for
granted that a lot of people are not experiencing because
of day time is up or whatever. I don't know
the reason, but whatever the case, but he does so
many things for us, all automatic. Imagine what could happen
(04:02):
to you if you just gave him a little bit
to work with You ever thought about that? Suppose this
idea that's been burning on the inside of you suppose
you just started it today and don't wait to start
an idea when you can figure it all the way through,
because you'll never get started.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
You know.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
It cripples so many people because they think of how
to start their business. Then they look all the way
down the road or the loans they gonna need, and
they don't know nobody and they credit bad, so they stopped.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
They never started. What would happen had you ever thought if.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
You just started do the part of the business that
you could do, and ask God to lead you and
guide you to the next step.
Speaker 6 (04:46):
That thing called faith, the belief in things that you
cannot see.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Suppose you just started out on faith, You just stepped
out the water, stepped out the boat and stood on
the water, just on faith, seeing that is rough, but
just believing that He would take care of you, just
believing that he would get you through, just believing that
He would lead you to the next step.
Speaker 6 (05:09):
Start.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
If you just started, man, you would then give God
something to put his finger on and to bless. People
say to me all the time, man, man, Steve, it
seemed like everything you do work, man.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Do you know what it is?
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Really? I just lose the fear of failing, and I
start I don't know how to do all of this.
Come on, Man, if I could have told you ten
years ago or there's no way I could have told you,
I'd be why i'm today. But if anyone had come
to me and says, Steve, in ten years you will
(05:45):
be doing this, that, this, that, and the other, they
will recognize you here. You'll get this recognized recognition, you'll
get this award, and you'll be living like this.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
I'd have just looked at them like they was crazy.
I really would have.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
Man.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It's not that I have the faith, it's just that
in my imagination I didn't see it. I've always believed
in God. I just didn't see things for myself. See,
I didn't open myself up to what God had for me.
I was just living my life based on what I
could see for me. When I stopped worried about what
(06:21):
I could see for me and started allowing God to
do what he could do for me, it changed my
whole existence because I found out that God's plan was
way better than mine. But you got to start something.
You got to give God something to put his finger
on that mightas touched where turned into something. You got
(06:42):
to let your imagination go. You got to let your
imagination fly as wild as it can fly without being
constricted by the confines of where you live, and what
color you are, and what sex you are, and how
much money you make and what your degree say. You
got to let your imagination fly beyond that. You got
to go for it. You got to step out on
(07:04):
faith and you got to go for it. Oh and
did I mention you got to pray. Don't want to
leave that out? Then you got to seek understanding. Man,
read Proverbs. Proverbs is a great book to start with out.
You know, I guess other people got other worse I'm
just telling you about me. Man, it's probably some better
places to start.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Proverbs was to start for me, the book of wisdom
and understanding that helped develop my thought process, which helped
me become fairly successful. Proverbs teaches you everything you need
to know. And if you can't read the King James version,
get you one of them translated Bibles. What difference it
makes long as you hear what he's saying to you.
(07:46):
Oh and did I mention, don't forget to pray and
then take the idea the business the journey you want
to embark on and break it down inch by inch
anythings and such. Just start with the peace that you
can do. Okay, you don't know how you go get
the loan? When it's time for the loan? What part
(08:06):
you can? You design the business card? Can you make
a YouTube video and post it? Can you start telling
people that you're associated with this is what you do?
Speaker 8 (08:15):
Now?
Speaker 6 (08:16):
You could start somewhere. You can get a gig somewhere
doing something.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Somebody will pay you for the service right now, and
then simplify it, take it and break it down to
the lowest common denominator. Qut trying to figure it all out?
Simplify it?
Speaker 6 (08:31):
What can I do now?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
I can't figure this out. It's too complex, it's too difficult.
There's too many levels.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
Quit tripping on that. Do the part you can do, But.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Start, man, Just get started today. Stop delaying it. Every
time you put it off, you seem further away from it,
don't you. Why won't you startle your imagination?
Speaker 6 (08:52):
Go open it up?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
You know, if you can't imagine, God show can Einstein said?
One time he said that imagination is everything. It's the
preview to life's coming attractions. Oh is that crazy? Is
that crazy? Do you know that everything we do somebody
imagined it? But do you know when they imagine if
somebody laughed at them. Man, I'm gonna make a car
(09:16):
that you can sit on it and it'll automatically drive
and the wheels a roll.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Who gonna do that?
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Okay, here we go, we all ride in cars. Man,
I'm gonna fly. I'm gonna make something that will take
people far away in the air. People board flights every day. Man,
somebody sat up there and looked at that moon and said, Man,
one day, I'm going to the moon. He talking about going.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
To the moon.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
They take people to the moon all the time. Imagination
is everything. It's the preview to life's coming attractions. Or
are you imagining for yourself? What do you see coming?
What's your coming attractions? I'm so grateful I change mine.
Oh I see being because I see God.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Come on, y'all, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Show, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come to make
the announcement. He did it again. That is the announcement.
He did it again. I'm gonna be just straightened to
the point, Steve, what did he do well. He woke
(10:22):
us up this morning. He made the sunrise. He made
the sun give us light, which gives us life. He
then made this entire world fully functional. His eye is
on the sparrow, so I know he watches me. All
(10:43):
of this sunset will be because of him, cloud covering
formation will be because of him. Waterfalls are because of him,
glaciers are because of him, Seasons change because of him.
All of it nature is because of him. Wildlife is
(11:05):
because of him. I don't know what other evidence you need.
I've heard scientists try to scientifically prove this way, but
then I asked them, where did science come from? See?
I don't know if you keep just thinking that you just,
all of a sudden you got here and you start
knowing this stuff. Where you come from, where your forefathers
(11:30):
come from? Or the evolution? Where did monkeys come from?
Well it was a proton that where did proton come from?
Well it was a speck of cosmic dustice? Where did
the dust come from? Y'all keep jumping around this subject.
Where did it come from? I have no other explanation
for you except God. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
(11:52):
Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior government name
kill space and the legend that is nephew, Hey Junior,

Speaker 8 (12:01):

Speaker 3 (12:02):

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Un I found out something.
Speaker 9 (12:04):
I want to let everybody know that in a marriage,
forgiveness is a wonderful thing.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Forgiveness. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing.
Speaker 9 (12:14):
I mean, it's beautiful in a marriage to understand that
you can be forgiven for something you did that was
absolutely stupid.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Well even here to tell you too, well, it ain't
in his house.
Speaker 7 (12:23):
I know that.

showing up, but it's show ain't Monday. I know that
I can put it down proper for Friday.
Speaker 10 (12:54):
Well, but it ain't gonna be Monday.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Well, can I tell you something, whatever I see, the
bigger the issue you're asking for forgiveness for the more
grappling and crawling and slithering you're gonna have to do
to get it. I'll give you an example, like if
you walk in the room and you ask your wife
(13:16):
something stupid and then go to bed and she wake
up and ask you why you ask her? That that's
gonna be a.
Speaker 6 (13:25):

That's all period, it can have heirit heard. Congratulations lady,

(24:15):
what I'm saying. That's all it is. I try to
lose myself in song, but the tithes are much too strong.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
What am I gonna do? Because I just can't get
over you?
Speaker 1 (24:27):
That's it.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
And you just wrote in because you got an ego
and you loved it.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
So now you you loving the fact that you can
come to the cook I'll still sleep with him and
be with another man. Ain't congratulations, I ain't mad at
Huh sounds like it. Well, surely you think I'm mad
all the time. I get accused a lot of that
on that show. You and the lady down below you
(24:52):
on the Zoo, you are the same things that you're
trying to lick her tongue out.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
It's your tone, all right. So you're just saying it's
her ego. So you're you're just saying it's ego.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
Well, she just typed in for the ego to let
us know she still got him sprung.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
And you don't even know her, but that she did
it for herself. Now she on the radio. It worked, Okay,
he sprung. That's all to it, ain't no problem mhm.
Speaker 8 (25:21):
Moving on to know if you helped her, but moving on,
I didn't try to. Yeah, I don't think you helped her.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Well no, no, you sleep with your ex husband. That's
what you wanted us to know. And he was at
the cookout and I came with a dating He left,
He was mad, he jellous. What you want now?
Speaker 6 (25:44):
What what you want us to tell?
Speaker 1 (25:45):
You know why he left? She goes right here talking
about why can't you just sleep with us without catching feelings?
You caught feelings, that's how y'all got married. Why couldn't
you just sleep with him before you got married? You could,
you didn't want to catch feelings, you know, like you
guys do. Mm hm oh that's she does.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
There she do, But that's what y'all do. Yeah, what
she goes?
Speaker 8 (26:09):
Yeah, we do what sleep with women and move on
and don't catch feelings. Now, when a woman does it,
it's the problem. She got an ego and all of that.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
The hate your tone, Yeah, hainted a problem when you
sleep with a dude. And he tried to move on.
Hello with now and then we had a problem. Now
we got the man up, suck it up with your pumpkin,
put you over here, wine and fault.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
He didding quit it.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Wam bam, Thank you, ma'am, Come on up in here
with your st I move on with it, sir, thank you.
Speaker 8 (26:51):
Yeah, next, all right, Moving on to Taneil and Huntsville,
who says, my husband cheated on me before we got married,
and he thinks he can still be friends with the female.
He said he never crossed that bridge again because she's
gained a lot of weight. How do I get him
to understand it's still not cool? Make yeah, then it's
(27:18):
on again. Sounds like, but wait, the reason.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
He'll never cross that bridge again is because she gained weight. Bro,
you need excuse than that, Yes, you need to like
you will never cross that bridge again because it almost
cost me my wonderful life with my with my wife,
almost lost an opportunity to have a family. Don't put
this on weight, dog, that's a dummy jit stupid because
(27:42):
I know a lot.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
Of women that gain some weight. Still fine, Fine, up
that fan is the lick?
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Yeah, yeah, said fine.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Just can't say Kirby a term fat friend? Ain't like
some fat fand.
Speaker 8 (28:14):
All right, so what he should have found a better
excuse than that. That's what you're saying, clo.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
I like compressed fat.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
Okay, right there?
Speaker 1 (28:27):
All right?
Speaker 5 (28:28):
Moving on? Are you gonna help anybody today?
Speaker 1 (28:34):
My question?
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Next question, you shut up.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
Tommy Vandra in Atlantic City says, my best friend is
messing around on her husband, and my husband overheard.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Let's talking. He's ready to tell he's ready to tell her.
Speaker 8 (28:50):
Husband what's going on. And I told him that he's
acting like a girl, and now he's mad. How do
I convince him to mind his business?
Speaker 1 (28:57):
He acted like a girl. You said, exactly right, mind
Joe business. They're not going there and wake her up.
Speaker 12 (29:05):
I know that.
Speaker 6 (29:07):
Yeah, take take it. Take take it from Junior.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah the show. Yeah, just do that. I'll tell you
what now, listen to me. Hey, dude, you go in
there and say that you have no idea what the
reaction is going to be. Because when a man tell
another man that that his woman is messing up being
that man gotta react instantly, and probably in a way
(29:31):
that he wouldn't normally react because now he got a
front in flex. That's a very dangerous situation. You could
get this woman hurt.
Speaker 6 (29:38):
I would not do that.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
M right, all right, thank you, Cloud, Steve Marbin Martin
show man.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
I can't get no stupid than it is. I hel
I'm the stupidest person in the world.
Speaker 5 (29:51):
Yes, oh yes, everything you just said is true. Wow.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
I mean when when I walk in the room, do
you feel my stupid.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
I guess now.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
I told my sister you were stupid.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Hey, I did.
Speaker 10 (30:09):
Wait years ago. I got a whooping for it. My mama,
don't think I'm stupid. Now I'm not hurt.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
The family.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Come up right after you.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
All right.
Speaker 8 (30:32):
Sometimes we all find ourselves in a conversation, okay, be
it political, scientific, educational, financial, even hip hop pop culture
based conversations where we.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
Just have no clue, I mean clueless to what the
person is talking about.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Okay, So so guess what sure to do with sports?
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Busted?
Speaker 5 (30:54):
So do you guys chime in and ask people to
get you up to speed or do you just not
in agreement?
Speaker 6 (31:01):
Like you know, you know, like I actually get in
the conversation.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
I wanted to start with you.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yes, I get in the cont like bring up a subject,
cause you know, I ain't got nothing now, I don't
know nothing about it.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
Engineering making a bridge, oh man.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
You know when me and my father man used to
work constructing. You know, I used to work on bridge.
We used to pad of cracks in the bridge. So
I knew all about the structural design of a bridge
and what called the fracture space is in it.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
And I just did like that.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
Yeah, did you or your father go to engineering school?
I mean take engineering?
Speaker 1 (31:35):
And I never did.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
A construction company.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Or no, no, no, no, Now we work for this company,
Frank buddy, Frank, buddy contract have you.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
Ever driven over a bridge?
Speaker 6 (31:48):
Heah, yeah, been a lot of free That's how we
knew how they cracked.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
You know.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Structural engineering position is what we would take hold was
the uprooted problem that diverted the situation into a cracking
at first place. We sound good, are you talking about
there's like a board game like this, Go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 11 (32:06):
I wasn't ask him, though, Shirley, So how would you
what would you recommend to update a bridge?
Speaker 6 (32:12):
What I think upbeating is a very gate bridge.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
The Golden brad Bridge has been needed update and repairing.
You know, have been several earthquakes. Says, we reaking the foundation.
But I think what we're gonna have to do is
we're gonna have to do a section out of time.
I think we're gonna have to break that bridge in half.
So we had just one way traffic going one way,
and then once you get the one one lane blocked
off and then you can do the restructured work on
the other side, and then you reinforce it up under
(32:36):
with welding beams and that are joining back together. That way,
they'll fix that whole thing you.
Speaker 5 (32:42):
Mentioned earthquakes. I was wondering, you know, we're out here
in l A.
Speaker 7 (32:47):
What do you know?
Speaker 8 (32:48):
A lot of seismantologists have been on the news lately
saying there is a possibility that there could be an
earthquakes coming up soon.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
You agree with that? Four point seven?
Speaker 5 (32:58):
Four point seven? What do you using that on?
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Yeah, because was four point six.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Predict?
Speaker 8 (33:06):
Are you a seismatologist by any chance or you had
you know anybody that is?
Speaker 1 (33:11):
I'm a quake atologist.
Speaker 11 (33:20):
After sh.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Far so good? Yeah, go ahead, ad anything, just anything
I can, I can get right with it. In houses, houses,
you know a lot about house Yeah, I grew up
in a housing projects.
Speaker 5 (33:38):
I'm a seismologists, seismatologists.
Speaker 6 (33:41):
That's why I said, you said, because I knew you
didn't know what you go ahead tell me?
Speaker 1 (33:48):
You know you know anything about design and airplanes are absolutely?
Speaker 5 (33:52):
Absolutely you mean like the engines and stuff are inside
that core.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
Well, let's go be Yeah.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
It is absol.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Rose Royce is number one engine manufacturer of jet planes
in the world right now.
Speaker 5 (34:06):
Now that I believe, no, that's from you, Yeah, that
I believe.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Rose worst is number one jet manufacturer of engine parts
and motors in the world today, and so whatever I'm
picking out a plane, always go Rosewort engine.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
Okay, what's the best feat to get up with altitude?
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Well, you're going to fly at least thirty three thousand,
but if you and the more substantial plane, you can
get up to forty nine thousand, which then at that
point you can see the curvature of the Earth.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
I cannot argue.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
You up there in heaven.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
If you forty nine thousand feet in a G five,
you can see the curvature of the Earth ahead.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Wow, the planet.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
You can see that the world is round. Wow.
Speaker 6 (34:53):
No, and that's a fact, it really is.
Speaker 8 (34:56):
I can't argue with you because I have no idea
thous the altitude?
Speaker 6 (35:00):
Yeah, yeah, will need anything.
Speaker 11 (35:04):
What do you think about these people speaking of that
thing you're talking about the world and the earth and planet?
What about What do you think about these people that
are now saying that Earth is flat? They're coming out
saying that.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Oh they're saying that because they ain't never been up
for nine thousand feet. I see all they've been on
the delta. Don't do for nine thousand You got to
get on something else. Hear what I'm talking about? Most
people talking about the world is flat or just sheer ignorance. Yeah,
if the world is flat, how come China over that?
(35:37):
We got to be able to see. Try to be
with flat, I like, or you can drive over there
to it? Yes, right, what are you see? If the
world was flat, you wouldn't have to worry about it
wouldn't have to be no time zone change because it's
gonna get half the world would be light at the
same time, dropping knowledge, you know what I'm saying. I
think because it's tilted in his own sphere and it rotates,
(36:00):
you'll never get that quarter of the world is always
different from another three fourths.
Speaker 5 (36:04):
But I do like daylight savings time though.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Well, they're not gonna do that anymore. They're gonna cut
that out because farming. Ay when it used to be
in the United States and Milica. They don't do daylight
saving nowhere else but over here. Let's review. So you
know about bridges, everything about them?
Speaker 5 (36:21):
Yeah, times out?
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Yeah, So I just get with anybody real quick. Anything
come he global warming, global warming, it's happening. I don't
give what true it's happening, and it ain't got nothing
to do with the cold weather. Like his stupid thing,
noting at all. Global warming is real. It's melting the
glaciers at an uncommonly rapid pace, thus producing more weather.
(36:46):
Change is globally because the moisture is not a conversation,
is forming in a cloud formation and giving us the
radic weather and places that we would normally have it. Thus,
global warming is real, and the glaciers are decreasing at
point seven in just per seven inches every six months.
You've been yeah you, he's a timmy.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
I watched, I watched National Geograd?
Speaker 4 (37:11):
Did you.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
Here?
Speaker 1 (37:13):
And I'm not a man?
Speaker 5 (37:16):
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (37:24):

Speaker 8 (38:14):
It is time now, guys, for a round it would
you rather? Would you rather change one thing on your face?
Or would you rather change one thing on your body?
Speaker 1 (38:23):
My face is fine? What tell them? Sexy? What what
you say?
Speaker 7 (38:27):
Good?
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Look?
Speaker 1 (38:28):
My face? My face is fine? Ain't well? It ain't
no need of trying to fix one thing, because then
for what we left with, what you're gonna do about
the other fulk thing? What is you gonna fix your
face or some on your body? Which one? I fix
something on my body? But before I do that, what
you're gonna fix on your body?
Speaker 5 (38:46):
You can't get off of that.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
I have a couple of ideas, not suggest What would
you change about me lifting them sharp legs? I do
that for starters. What's no, it's just all we got
to do. You know he would fix on Junior's body? Well,
(39:10):
I don't know if I fix it on his body?
Tell me, but I would. I would have him consider
either removing his hairline. I would just get rid of
the hairline because I need to stop. We need to
stop that because it's back there by his head says,
Right now, that's all I change about, Junior. You need
(39:31):
to just stop stop having his hairline. It's not receding anymore,
it's actually marching.
Speaker 8 (39:51):
Would you rather have all of your teeth point or
would you rather have a corn on each toe?
Speaker 1 (39:56):
I'm gonna take them coins.
Speaker 7 (39:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Yeah, you ain't gonna like them con because that's gonna
be hell to walk in. But you but with them
a little sharp teeth, you smile and look like a
little evil. Listen, all right?
Speaker 8 (40:19):
Would you rather have a spouse that cooks every day?
A spouse that cooks every day? Or would you have
rather have a spouse that wants sex every day? You
want sex every day, Junior?
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Every day? Yeah? I have a wife that cooks every day?
Or have sex every day? Yeah? Man, I want her
to have I want her to want to have sex
every day so she can feel like if she can
feel what they feels like.
Speaker 6 (40:46):
You're turned down?
Speaker 1 (40:49):
What you're gonna say? Not today, I'm not in the move.
How that feels.
Speaker 10 (40:57):
Stop?
Speaker 13 (41:00):
No, I'm sleepy, okay, right, you see you last night too, okay, yeah,
in the night before last.
Speaker 5 (41:12):
All right, thank you guys. That's today's roundup. Would you
rather you're listening Steve Hardy morning shouting? All right, Steve,
it's time now to check your voicemail. Listen.
Speaker 8 (41:26):
If you want to leave Steve a voice message, call
him eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve eight seven seven
twenty nine, Steve, you might just hear your voicemail on
the air. This first one, Steve, is a relationship call.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
Take a listen, say Steve.
Speaker 7 (41:40):
I ain't never been called him in my life, man,
And yesterday morning, my girlfriend got to a point where.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
She disrespected me and call me a bit.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
I haven't spoken to her in the last twenty four hours,
and I'm really trying to stide what the hell I'm
gonna do with this girl?
Speaker 7 (41:57):
Have this relationship?
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Man?
Speaker 7 (41:58):
This course?
Speaker 12 (41:59):
Has it got to point where she disrespects me that
you know she has no more respect for me?
Speaker 4 (42:05):
Steve.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Let me know, God, the words are powerful and you
can't take words back.
Speaker 6 (42:12):
But let me say this to me and and women.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
It ain't right to call a woman out of her name,
and it ain't right to call the men out her name. Now,
I would tell a man. If a woman hits you,
turn around and walk away. True, I say that all
the time, But when a woman calls you the B word,
I mean, man, what's happening here now? Because that, to
(42:37):
me is the ultimate sign of disrespect for me. I mean,
if you if we're having an argument and you call
me the B word and I'm a man, and and
we're pretty much done at this point, because I'm not
gonna forget that you called me, and I don't know
what you make I know, I don't know how you
(42:57):
think because I'm you know, and plus a guy like me.
Speaker 6 (43:02):
If if you're a man's man and I.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
Am a man's man, I don't I don't break the
rules of manhood. Ever, I don't ever put him down.
I honor the laws of manhood twenty four seven. So now,
if you done got to the point where you calling
me the B word, no, it's not gonna happen because
I'm not gonna let nobody call you the B word. Yeah,
(43:27):
if you say that about my girl, I'm gonna find
a way to get to you. Period. We're gonna dress that.
You talk about me all you want, but I don't
let nobody do that to my wife, wife or daughter.
You call either one of them, you're gonna have talk
to me about it. So whenf you turn around as
a woman and called me to be worth, it's a
rap doog And for him to call in like that,
(43:49):
he hurting and he felt that he's it's gone. It's over. Absolutely.
Speaker 5 (43:53):
It's hard to come back from that.
Speaker 6 (43:55):
Because obviously she don't want him no more, you know,
show want you.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Know, but she disrespecting you like that respect you?
Speaker 8 (44:02):
Yeah, yeah, all right, another relationship call, this time from
a woman. Steve, take a listen, Hi.
Speaker 12 (44:08):
Steve, I have a question. How do you deal with
a person who has been divorced for about eight years
and still discussing his marriage that he had. How do
you deal with that? Thank you?
Speaker 1 (44:27):
He ain't got over that yet. I mean he's trying,
he's it's not that he hasn't gotten over her. He
hasn't got over the pain of it and what it caused.
And a lot of dudes do that. I did it
for a while. I discussed my divorce for a while.
Oh okay, and then finally I heard this message say
(44:49):
you don't have to keep going over that. It's over.
And once I was reassured of that. Then I understood
where they was coming from, and I stopped. This guy
right here is hashing it over and over and over
because it burned him. And you got to understand, some ladies,
men don't have the same support groups that you all have.
(45:11):
When you all are going through something, y'all, girls gather around,
come over, pick you up, take you y'all, do wine tea,
y'all sit around, and y'all work through it.
Speaker 6 (45:20):
Men don't really have that.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
We don't because we don't go and hey man, I
need I need, Hey fellas, I need to chop it
over with y'all about something. We don't really have that
because of our ego, and then we stay out of
the gray area with other men. So we go, hey man,
hanging that dog, need anything?
Speaker 6 (45:39):
Let me know.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
Then you don't want to appear needy, so you never
called the guy. Women have that men don't. And so
when men get out of something, a lot of times
it's bottled up. So he's not a bad guy. You
just got to help him through it. Just remind him
that you're not that person.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
All right, guys, thanks for your calls. Ladies and gentlemen.
Coming up next. It is the nephew with the prank
phone call for today.
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Right after this less of its DJ Cally, Hey, what

Speaker 5 (46:15):

strawberry letter for today, and the subject is he's got
to get out of here.
Speaker 5 (46:30):

and why. Right after the nephew in today's prank phone call, nephew,
what do you have for us today?
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Shirlie? I have love et cetera, love, etcetera.
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Okay, what is that about?
Speaker 7 (46:47):
You know?
Speaker 10 (46:48):
Call this man up, you know, and tell him that
his wife is taking these love classes. You know, she
come in and you know, I kind of teach her
different things about love and yeah, yeah, yeah, love etcetera.
Speaker 4 (46:59):
You know.
Speaker 10 (47:00):
Yeah, I don't mind, calle go, no man calling nobody
her husband and getting them ribbed up. I don't have
a plan, thank you. I don't care about his feelings.
I don't care I want to get up under your skin,
and I will call you about your wife. I will
call you about your kids, because I know that that
(47:22):
those are buttons and when I push them, you're gonna
lose your mind. So cat, yeah, yeah, love, etc.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Let's go.
Speaker 7 (47:32):
Hello.
Speaker 4 (47:32):
Hello, I'm trying to reach out Kayln Kaylen.
Speaker 7 (47:35):
Oh no, she's out here right now. Who's speaking?
Speaker 4 (47:38):
This is doctor Albert Listen. I was giving a call.
Are you able to leave a message for it for me?
Speaker 7 (47:42):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (47:43):
Okay? Would you let her know her sessions will be
on Wednesdays at seven thirty sessions?
Speaker 7 (47:48):
What session you're talking about?
Speaker 4 (47:49):
Sessions? Well, actually she signed up for class, an eight
week class and it's every Wednesday night at seven thirty.
Speaker 7 (47:55):
Okay, what what classes are you talking about? What kind
of class?
Speaker 4 (47:59):
This is Love et cetera? Have you heard of us? No? Okay,
Well let me kind of give you a little briefing here.
Caitlyn actually came in and filled out to take some
classes and we're Love etcetera. So we teach different things.
Speaker 7 (48:13):
What is it like a seminar or something.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
Well, we teach poor play, intimacy, sensual massages and things
like that. And she I was actually here. When she
came and filled out the paperwork, she said she wanted
to screwce up her love life with her husband. Are
you her husband? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (48:29):
Yeah, I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is like
a joint thing. Am I supposed to be there or something?
Speaker 4 (48:34):
No? No, no, no no, this is actually her wanting
to Actually, if you don't know about it, I'm assuming
she wants to surprise you and show you some different
things when when she finishes her sessions.
Speaker 7 (48:45):
So when did when did she come in? Like she
came in? Where are y'all located? First of all?
Speaker 4 (48:50):
Okay, well, she actually came in a couple of weeks
ago and she filled out the paperwork. We're in the
downtown area. She filled it out. She said she was
very excited. She wanted to do some different things for
her husband. We just asked her she gets here a
little earlier, probably fifteen minutes earlier, so she can shower
and put a robe on, and then we can we
can start class.
Speaker 7 (49:07):
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa? Shower, shower and rolls.
Speaker 4 (49:11):
What's that?
Speaker 7 (49:12):
What's that for?
Speaker 4 (49:13):
I mean, you're not you're not upset about this? Are
you now.
Speaker 7 (49:15):
I mean, I haven't got no problem with you know us,
we mean we know. I mean we married a couple,
you know what I mean, So you know anything desprikees,
the slices of the marriage. But you know, as far
as me not being involved in her going out to
barself and you're talking about taking the bath and robe
and all this other stuff.
Speaker 4 (49:29):
Man, she don't need to be there for no.
Speaker 7 (49:30):
For no mess like that.
Speaker 4 (49:31):
Man. Well, no, no, sir, it's nothing like that. I mean,
it's it's it's basically a class where people get in
touch with her with their sensitive side and you get
to actually, you know, you learn about four play what
what takes?
Speaker 7 (49:43):
You're talking about eight weeks though?
Speaker 4 (49:44):
Eight weeks?
Speaker 7 (49:45):
Eight weeks like that? You must you must save y'all
even eight weeks.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
To me, it's only one night a week. It's only
on Wednesday. So really only have eight sessions, eight sessions exactly.
Speaker 7 (49:57):
Okay, So why why did she have to have a
roll though? I mean watch he not watching, just not
showing up at the work or whatever.
Speaker 4 (50:02):
Well, you have to bring your rope, sir. Everyone showers
and then they put their robe on and we we
actually coached them through here's how four play goes. Here's
the intimacy, here's sensual massaging.
Speaker 7 (50:13):
No no, no, no, fan you get you're getting it twisted.
What I'm asking you is you you You're really not
explaining yourself enough. Like what do y'all do? Like I
say in the class, like a classroom said. If I'm
in the class, I'm taking a class. There's nobody touching me.
Ain't no, ain't no cold coming off, ain't nobody taking
no group showers, caring on what you got you sad like,
(50:34):
what's going on?
Speaker 4 (50:35):
Nothing, nothing like that at all. But we do come
in contact with our sensual side. Now we'll have a
partner in class. She'll deal with that one partner. It's
not until the fourth session that we really get into
some strong physical contact.
Speaker 7 (50:50):
What are you talking about? What are you talking about?
You're talking about a partner or like you're talking about
another woman, like some about teammate or something. What you're
talking about you talk about another dude?
Speaker 4 (50:58):
Everyone has opposite sex partner.
Speaker 7 (51:00):
Then you gotta be out your mind, sir. Don't even
you call why you even why are you even calling
me with this right here?
Speaker 4 (51:05):
And you have to understand I'm I wasn't calling you.
I was trying to reach miss Kaylen.
Speaker 7 (51:10):
I don't care who are you trying to reach?
Speaker 1 (51:12):

Speaker 7 (51:12):
You calling my house talking about my wife or some
rogue and some partners. And it don't get physical to
the fourth session of carrying. Ain't gonna be no physical
at all, sir.
Speaker 4 (51:21):

good thing.
Speaker 7 (51:23):

I'm gonna get this straightened out real quick.
Speaker 4 (51:27):

good for you to call.
Speaker 7 (51:34):

hand on my wife the way I want to handle it.
Speaker 3 (51:38):

me back at the house as soon.
Speaker 4 (51:45):

to surprise you.

she ain't gonna be coming down to y'all little sessions
and uh where do y'all say'll do located?
Speaker 4 (51:58):

Speaker 7 (51:59):
Then downtown area, how much this thing folls? The cost anyway?
Speaker 4 (52:03):
Well, like I said, she signed up for eight sessions.
It's one session per week. It's one hundred dollars these sessions.
She's already paid the eight hundred dollars, sir. She tokay
you what she's paid in full to do all eight sessions.
Speaker 7 (52:14):
Man, I know else she ain't paid, no eight hundred
dollars of y'all.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
She's starting this coming winning. She won't be there.
Speaker 7 (52:20):

Speaker 5 (57:00):
Oh thank you, nephew. Subject, he's got to get out
of here.
Speaker 8 (57:05):
Here Stephen Shirley, I'm married to the most controversial man
on the planet. He thrives on drama and loves to argue.
I do the smallest things to annoy him sometimes, so
he will leave me alone for a few days. He
ignores me, sleeps in the other room, and finds his
own dinner most of the time. His friends know how
he acts, so they hardly ever invite him to hang
(57:28):
out anymore. But he has one good friend that is
going through an experimental treatment at the medical center close
to our home, so he's in town. His hotel room
got to be expensive, so my husband suggested that he
stay at our house for a while. I was over
the moon, happy because I know i'd have someone. I
knew i'd have someone to hang out with. This guy
(57:51):
is funny and care free, so we get along really good.
He's been at our house for a week, and when
he first got here, my husband blew up at me
and called me stupid in front of him. He winked
at me and took my husband to the other room.
The next day, my husband's friend told me to take
a walk with him. We walked past a house that
(58:12):
was being built, and he suggested we go inside. He
told me that he saw the pain in my eyes
when my husband called me stupid, and I told him
that he had it all wrong because I don't care anymore.
Speaker 5 (58:25):
He pulled me close and said that I shouldn't have
to go through that.
Speaker 8 (58:29):
I know this man is on medication and going through treatment,
but he felt so good, and he was pressed up
against me in all the right places.
Speaker 5 (58:38):
I wanted him so bad.
Speaker 8 (58:40):
Just as things got heated, my husband called my phone
and asked where I was.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
I told him I'd be right there. I ran home
as fast as I could.
Speaker 8 (58:52):
Since then, this man has been caressing me and kissing
me whenever he can steal a moment.
Speaker 5 (58:58):
What's the girl to do? What is a girl to do?
I mean, what do you want from us?
Speaker 8 (59:06):
I mean, do you want Steve and I to just
give you permission to go ahead and sleep with your husband,
sleep with your husband's friend, and tell you that you
know doing this with your house guest is okay?
Speaker 5 (59:16):
Is that what you want?
Speaker 8 (59:17):
Because you know that's not going to happen. I mean,
you may be sick of your husband. But how disrespectful
is it for you guys to be sneaking around like this?
I mean, I'm sure you guys are doing this stuff
in your house too, when your husband's not there, or
maybe when he is there. It's just wrong and you
know that. And his friend can't blame it on the medication. Nope,
(59:38):
he cannot. Your husband is helping this man. This is
the thanks he gets. He's a sorry, trifling friend, if
you ask me. And if you're that unhappy with your husband,
get out of it. I mean, you get out of it.
That's simple, Get a divorce. I mean, you don't have
to be with anyone who calls you stupid. You told
his friend you don't care anymore. So so if you
(01:00:00):
don't care, why are you still there while you're still playing?
I think the truth is you do care, because you
ran home really fast when your husband called your phone
when you were at the house pooling around with his friend.
But I don't think that little scare was enough for you.
It didn't make you stop. You're still sneaking around with him.
What's a girl to do?
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
You ask?
Speaker 8 (01:00:19):
Well, stop letting your husband's friend kiss and caress you
for starters?
Speaker 5 (01:00:24):
If you don't want that, but I think you do.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Steve Well, I got a couple of questions in this
letter right here, and probably a surprise or response to this.
The letter title is he got to get out of here.
The only problem is that don't sound like right. The
title of the letter is he got to get out
of here. But everything in the letter say please stay?
(01:00:51):
What's that song? Take hand? Stay?
Speaker 5 (01:00:55):
Please don't go, go, please do.
Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
Yeah, So here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
I'm married to the most controversial man on the planet.
Now this is hard to hear this about men, but
he thrives on drama and he loves to argue. Man,
you stupid, dude, you stupid. So you light fires in
your own house? You just walk around just setting fires
in your own I don't know nobody do that, especially me.
(01:01:25):
I try to keep fires out of my house. And
what I will not do is let somebody else come
in my house started fighting. I do the smallest things
to annoy him, so he will leave me alone for
a few days. Wow, this then got bad. Now here's
the other part. He ignores me. He sleeps in the
other room, and he finds his own dinner most of
(01:01:47):
the time, which means he don't care what you eat.
Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Now, his friends know how he acts, so they hardly
ever invite him to hang out anymore because they don't
want the drama queen on the trip with them complaining.
But he has one good friend that is going through
and get this an experimental treatment at the medical center
close to our house. Now, let's stop right here, because
(01:02:19):
this is gonna come into the rest of my response
even when we come back. He's going through an experimental
treatment at the medical center close to our house. What
the hell do he got?
Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
We need to dig deeper into this. What the hell
do he got? Lord her Mercy, ain't we gotta do
an experimental treatment to cure this?
Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
What do he got?
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
And henem bought it in this house? We'll find out
when we come back, cause I have for I deal.
Speaker 4 (01:03:01):
All right?
Speaker 8 (01:03:02):
Hang on for part two of Steve's response to today's
Strawberry letter subject He's got to get out of here. Well,
here is response at twenty three minutes after the hour.
Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think
about the people who mean the most to you. Giving

(01:03:44):
five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right,
come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. He's got
to get out of here.
Speaker 6 (01:03:55):
Well, here's this man that she claims.
Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
This woman wrote a letter about she's mad, the most
controversial man on the planet.
Speaker 6 (01:04:02):
She should have said confrontation. He thrives on drama.
Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
He loves to argue. You just do stuff to piss
him off, so he'll leave your own for a couple
of days. He ignores you, sweeps in another room, and
he find his own dinner with me, and he don't
give it what you eat. His friends don't like the
way he acts, so they don't harller to invite him
to hang out no more. But he got one good
friend that's going through an experimental treatment at the medical
(01:04:26):
center close to our house. A friend that's going through
an experiment that beckons the question what do he got?
What is it that he has that traditional medicine cannot fix?
What has gone down so far? That he now just
(01:04:51):
got an experiment with suck try it. Put that in there,
Put that on it, Rub that in it, Drink this,
Take two shots in this.
Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
Lay down, Wake up.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
We're gonna do it again. Pull your leg up.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
I took that in there.
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
Quit drinking water. Drink this drinking water. Put this on
your mouth. Now hold it on you the truf. Stop crying. Yes,
it's supposed to burn.
Speaker 12 (01:05:24):
What do he got that we in here.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Doing an experimental treatment?
Speaker 11 (01:05:31):
Ignorant?
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
He's so, he's in town, and his hotel got to
be expensive. So your husband suggested that he stay at
our house for a while. Now I was over the moon,
happy because I knew that i'd have somebody to hang
out with. This guy's funny, care free, and we get
along really good. Now you need to be careful, right
because you describe what could be wrong while we taking
(01:05:53):
this experimental treatment. He's funny and he carefree. Care Free
people I don't like. Care Free people come because they
freely don't care. Okay, that's what makes you care free.
When you freely don't care, yo, it's just whatever. Oh now,
(01:06:15):
maybe that's why they now they got to come up
with the experiments because he freely cared too much. So
this guy's funny. He's been at our house for a
week now. When we first got here, my husband blew
up at me, called me stupid in front of him.
He winked at me and took my husband to the
other room. The next day, my husband friend told me
to take a walk with him. Come on this walk.
(01:06:35):
We walked past the house that was being built. He
suggested we go inside. He told me that I saw
the pain in your eyes with your husband called you stupid.
I told him he had it all wrong because I
don't care. He pulled me close. He said that I
shouldn't have to go through that. Then you said, I
know this man is on medication and going through treatment,
(01:06:58):
but he felt so good.
Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
Stop right here, quit medication.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
Here we go. See. I know this man is own
medication and going through treatment, but he felt so good.
He pulled me close. Bull back up? What do he
got you? Getting pulled in all close? Heep, breathing on
you heavy? What do he got you? Ain't saying that
(01:07:26):
in this letter, all this mistery treat me. And when
he was holding you close and felt so.
Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Good, what he got?
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
What do he got is the medication making him hot?
Was he holding you in his hands was extra warm?
Did your body temperature change when he pulled you in close?
What is this medicine he taken that's got his body
feeling like a quilt? What do he got he walking
(01:07:59):
around with the same skills and power of an electric blanket?
What do this man, god, the walking around like is
just plugged up and he generating heat? What is he taking?
What medication is he What experimental drug is he got?
Why is he on an experimental drug? What did he
(01:08:21):
have that's so sepire? Don't nobody know what it is?
But he felt so good and he pressed up against
me in all the right places. I wanted him so bad.
Speaker 7 (01:08:30):
But you don't know what he got.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
He just the things got heated because he that medicine.
God is hot. I don't know if it's scheme over.
I don't know what he taken. I don't know what
it is, but it is his radiation? Is his hot?
Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
Is what is he taking?
Speaker 7 (01:08:49):
Then?
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Right as he got heating my husband called my phone
and asked where I was. I told him I'll be
right there. I ran home as fast as I could.
Since then, this man has been caressing me and kissing
me whenever he can steal a moment. What's the girl
to do. He's been caressing me and kissing me whenever
he can steal a moment because he ain't got a loan.
Speaker 12 (01:09:10):
He ain't got to steal.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Every moment he got. He owned an experimental drug that
ain't working.
Speaker 3 (01:09:17):
What do he got?
Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Yes, he's taking chances because this probably his last. What
do he got? You're the best one is gonna dine
y'all's house. You should have left down at that hotel
experimental drug. Now he done kissed you.
Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Now you got it too.
Speaker 6 (01:09:37):
You don't even know what he got.

Speaker 8 (01:14:12):
She says, I'm engaged to a great man and two
years ago he had a really bad car accident that
chipped his two front teeth. The cap on one of
his front teeth popped off recently and broke. So it's
Dennis had to order a new cap and we were
told it could take up to six weeks to come in.
We're getting married July first, and my fiance will not
(01:14:32):
wear a temporary flip or tooth for the wedding. I
don't want his chip tooth smile on my wedding pictures.
Should I postpone everything for now? Or am I supposed
to act like this is just no big deal?
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
The homeboygir had to put that little fake thing in there. Now,
I got a partner the head. It's tooth cure h
They made him one, but it was a little bit
longer than the other one.
Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
Let me tell you how hard we were left.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Because he told us about it, and then Cliff said, hey, man,
do me a favor. Put put it in. He went
in the house and put it in. And the boy,
let me tell you something he wanted. He wanted to
whip out in the dirt. I laid down next to
the truck. It's the dirt stretcher out laughing. He had
(01:15:26):
a tooth longer than the other one. I was screaming.
I was so yeah, you need to get that. You
need to get that tooth put in there. You need
to get that. And if I don't know how, you
postpone the whole wedding. Yeah, I don't know how you
do that. And this July first, that ain't long. You
need a better Dennis, though, you get something six weeks, man,
(01:15:48):
you can get something tomorrow morning. Yeah, said, We're gonna
have to pay a little extra money, but we're gonna go.
I got to get this front tooth. Yeah that the
got to get this thick with all we're gonna be
I think Jack could be adopted with his wife.
Speaker 8 (01:16:13):

an executive assistant for a media personality and her son
and I work closely together. I'm thirty six and he's
twenty seven years old. We started messing around when we
traveled together. Long days led to sleepless nights and crazy
(01:16:33):
sex with this younger man. Now I'm pregnant and he's
very happy about it. But I'm afraid I'll lose my
job when I tell my boss. Her son thinks she
won't care that we're having a baby together. Should I
tell her I'm pregnant, but wait to say? Who the
daddy is?
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
Heirl?
Speaker 5 (01:16:50):

This young boy just he got you all missed up.
You see, you old fool, and you done got pregnant
as old as you are. Don't you know that if

Ratlessly?
Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
You're stupid. I don't know what tell you later. I
can't help. But that lady right there, when you find out,
it's gonna be a problem. And it's not because you
did something on the job, it's because it's her son.
So now your old cougar behind gonna trap my boy.
And you know how to get pregnant? How old is
this lady?
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
Did she sits thirty six and the and the sun
is twenty seven?
Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah. All

what order you want to do it. Then you want
to tell her you pregnant, and then it's by the boy.
Then y'all want to hold hands and go sit with
her at the table and tell her how y'all want
to do it. Y'all want to do it? This father

Speaker 8 (01:18:57):
With budgets tight, people are traveling and spending less this summer.
According to a bank Rate report, only forty six percent
of Americans plan to travel this summer, while ten percent
are opting for a staycation instead. Now, staycations sound good
in theory. You're going to take time off from work
and just hang around the house and relax, maybe do
(01:19:19):
some day trips close to home.
Speaker 5 (01:19:22):
But does this really work? Is a staycation really.
Speaker 8 (01:19:25):
A vacation or is it just time to Is it
just time off to do stuff around the house that
you never have time to do. So what do you
think staycation? Just stay around the house, you know, do
stuff around the house. That's not really a vacation, is it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:42):
That's not a vacation. But people as well, that's who
you voted for. You wanted to yay Trumps. We all
my prices is high target pimping, y'all.
Speaker 8 (01:19:58):
Because you're saying we don't have enough money to do
the family vacations like we used to.
Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
I mean, that's what they're saying. I'm not you know,
I mean no, of course not you No, No, I'm
not saying I'm not feeling it. I'm just saying I'm not. Look,

back there by his head says, right now, that's all

Speaker 5 (01:23:56):
Sex every day? Yeah, man, I want I want her to.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
Want to have such every day so she can feel that,
she can feel what it feels like. You're turned down.
What you're gonna say? Not today, I'm not in the move?

Speaker 5 (01:25:44):
All right, See here we are last breakup of the
day on this Monday. Leave us with some closing remarks.
Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
In my close remarks, I try to mix it up.
Yesterday I talked about a comfort and convenience. How in
order to build a life of convenience, convenience is built
through inconvenience and to build a life of comfortable. To
build a life of comfort, you have to be you
have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. And these are
(01:26:14):
just true statements. Now here's something else I want.
Speaker 6 (01:26:18):
To share with you. This is a little bit more direct.
This is a little bit more This is everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
People oftentimes ask me, Steve, why do you talk about faith.
Speaker 6 (01:26:34):
This is just from my own experience.
Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
I have no other way to explain how I've gotten
to where I am today. Had it not been for
my faith, had it not been for my mother, who
was a Sunday school teacher, who taught me about God,
who taught me about prayer, taught me about faith, who
(01:26:59):
taught me about a relationship with God.
Speaker 6 (01:27:02):
Had it not been for that teaching right there, I
wouldn't be here today.
Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
Now. There are people who will tell you that they
have become successful without a relationship with God, and that
can happen. Will it last?
Speaker 6 (01:27:22):
No, but it can happen.
Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
But the reason it won't last is because there will
come a point in time in your life where you
will have to know God. And if you don't know him,
there will come a point in time in your life
where you will wish you did. That will become a
point in time in your life where you will call
His name as you've never called it before.
Speaker 6 (01:27:49):
It happens to us all it will happen before you
leave here.
Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
You will acknowledge the fact that He exists. Now here's
the upside, because God is not a god that he
wants us to have This life of fear and oh,
my God, if I don't do this, I ain't gonna
get this.
Speaker 7 (01:28:13):
God.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
God is really not that way. God comes to give
you life and give you life more abundantly. Here's a
reason I enjoy my faith. Here's the reason I enjoy
having a relationship with God. See so many people I
don't want to go to hell and I want. Oh
let's let's let's talk about the positivity of it. There
(01:28:35):
are some good reasons for having faith. There's some great
reasons for have relationship with God. This relationship with God
I have. I feel safe. I don't fear things. I'm
not afraid of what somebody can do to me.
Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
I'm not I'm not afraid of a decision that a
company can make about me.
Speaker 7 (01:28:55):
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (01:28:56):
I'm not fretful of what anybody may think about my income.
Speaker 6 (01:29:00):
I feel safe.
Speaker 1 (01:29:02):
I'm also I'm reassured that when something goes contrary to
what I thought was gonna happen, guess what, I'm reassured
because of my faith in my relationship with God, that that.
Speaker 6 (01:29:15):
Too gonna work out on my behalf.
Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
Also, I enjoyed this relationship because I have a constant guide.
I constantly can ask God for guidance and he'll give
it to me. My guide happens to be a king.
But this king is also my best friend, this relationship
(01:29:40):
that I have with him, He is my best friend
and my king. Man, Don't you know it's kind of
cool having a king is your best friend? Who can
make decisions? Man who can help you out, who got answers,
who got resources, who has a way out, who can
be with you through everything you're going through and never
leave you. My king is my best friend. I enjoyed
(01:30:05):
because of my faith in my relationship. I enjoy having
his companionship, a place that I can go to get
real answers, somebody I can talk to about anything. I'm
talking about. Man, I done been in some trouble. I
donet been sick, I done been counted out. But because
(01:30:27):
he's my companion, I can talk to him about anything.
And you know what I really love about my relationship
and my faith. He got answers. He got real answers. Man,
he got real I don't care what your situation is,
he got answers. There are scriptures written about everything you're
going through. There's actually prayers about everything. You're going through.
(01:30:49):
You ain't running across nothing new. I don't care nothing
about technology and none of that. You're running into nothing new.
The stuff they're saying about you on the internet. They
talked about Jesus. He didn't do nothing to nobody.
Speaker 6 (01:31:01):
He gives me inspiration.
Speaker 1 (01:31:04):
There's so many stories that I can read about, so
many incidents and scriptures that I can get inspired. Man,
that God don't really ever leave you. I'm so reassured
that he's with me every step of the way, that
he didn't bring me as far to leave me. That
all things work for the good to those who love him.
It's so many things that I have inspired me. Man,
(01:31:26):
when I get up, when i'm through praying that I
just feel better. That's why I like my faith in
my relationship with God. You should just look into it. Man,
You ain't got to be perfect to have one. You
just want to have to talk to him. Just start
talking to him. That's all you got to do.
Speaker 6 (01:31:44):
All right, Those are my clothes and remarks today.
Speaker 1 (01:31:51):
Right now, y'all have a good one.
Speaker 7 (01:31:52):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:31:53):
See y'all Friday.
