Speaker 4 (01:43):
You probably got to turn the mouth. The turn out
A wad the money up? Come come out? You think
that Ahah, I sure win off.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Good morning everybody.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Man.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
God is in the blessing business all day every day.
God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
out every day. All I want to do is be
the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
(02:37):
and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
just want his blessings and his favor.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I want.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
I want that in my life because it does things
for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
And I've been a recipient of many of those and
you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
(03:13):
you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
because this is the part that message people up a
great deal.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
What happens when you get off track? What is that?
What does that mean? When you get off track?
Speaker 8 (03:31):
See?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
I've been off track.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
in so many aspects of your life. But what is
it that makes getting off track so debilitating to some people?
You know, there are some people who want theay off track.
They of course, they off the dream, They on to
something else. And you cannot allow the fact that you've
(03:56):
gotten off track to stop you.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
Can.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
I tell you something. Everybody gets off track.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
There are people who are living their life's dreams in
spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
get off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The
simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
that's that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve?
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
of the things that happen. See you get the here
comes the nay says, some of them from the outside,
some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
You know, you start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
(04:53):
this is all just because you got off track.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
It's not for you. Okay, here's another one. It ain't
to be. You can hear it all.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
You could say it. Well, I guess it's just not
meant to be. But let me ask you a question, though,
who made the rule that when you get off track
you can't get back on? Who made that rule? Where
has that written that once you get off track you
(05:23):
can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell you something, folks,
there's no such rule. As a matter of fact, it's
quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit of a dream,
a goal, an aspiration, or mission is going to get
(05:43):
off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed. There are
going to be days where you're not going to get
it right. There are going to be days where you
feel like giving up there's going to be days when
you're just gonna flat out get it wrong. That's the journey.
But let me tell you something. Every successful person that
I know, ever met, talked to, set out, and chopped
(06:04):
it up with, have shared one thing in common. We
all get off track. We all get it wrong along
the way. I don't care who the person is. The
president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor got
it wrong along the way. Quiet director, go, I got
it wrong along the way. The principle at your school
(06:26):
got it wrong along the way. The valve victorian of
your class got it wrong along the way. The star
of the team got it wrong along the way. They've
all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
(06:48):
got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
has any measure of success in every level that you
call success, however you want to label, it's gotten off track.
As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen to me,
it is impossible not to get off track in pursuit
(07:14):
of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible. Don't
you let nobody tell you that they got through life
unscathed that they made it because they were just so determined,
and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah, you
might not have let nothing turn you back because you
hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you thought
(07:37):
about it on days when you was off track. But see,
people don't like to tell the whole story. They just
want you to think as much as you can about them.
So when they tell you their story, they leave out
the stuff along the way. It was just hard work
and determination that got me here.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
No it wasn't, No, it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
It was the fact that you got off track and
the grace and mercy God allowed you to get back on.
His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
would not believe what some of the people have done.
So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
(08:16):
you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
it don't matter what other people say out there. It
takes some time for you to learn this. And I
understand because it took me some time to learn it.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
See. I have a lot of naysayers out there, but
I ain't operating for them.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
Operating function for the ones that love me, for the
ones that get me, for the ones that understand what
I'm really trying to do.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
And so don't you be the one that.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Doesn't allow yourself to get back on track when you
get off track, Because, like I said, who made the
rule up that you can't get back on track? There's
no such rule out there. Stop yourself from getting it right.
So what you started to die at the beginning of
the year, and you already off start another one, start over,
(09:12):
try it again, don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying,
you can't make it. But if you never give up
the effort, if you never give up and say it's over.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
It ain't over.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
You heard the saying it ain't over, to the fat
lady saying I never invite her.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
She's not invited. It ain't over.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
fat lady stay. I have not send her an invitation
to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
didn't ask me a couple of times, how come I
never get invited? Because you're gonna start saying it and
I ain't got time for that. All right, stop inviting
(09:53):
the Fat Lady to all your events.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Thank you. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (10:03):
Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention. Please, undivided
is the way we like to do it.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Today. It's a great day.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
Please make sure that you are participating in it wholeheartedly
by offering some gratitude today. I don't know if you
understand this, but you don't have the ability to produce
a day, nor do you have the ability to wake
yourself up. Stop thinking it's your alarm clock that wakes
you up. No alarm clocks go off all the time
around this world with no answer at all. Your alarm
(10:33):
clock may go off, but it's only God who can
shake you, wake you up and allow you to hear it.
That right there deserves a debt of gratitude and thanks.
Make sure you do that today. Listen to Steve Harvey
Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior
(10:54):
to come back. Kid in the legend that he is
nephew Tommy Junior.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Y'all we gone.
Speaker 9 (11:00):
Let me ask you about this.
Speaker 10 (11:02):
It's the biggest misconception about manifestation that most people don't
get about Yeah.
Speaker 9 (11:08):
You know when you talk about how we manifest.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
These questions somebody's questions. Understand. Yeah, I'm not quite understanding
the question. Help me a little bit.
Speaker 9 (11:17):
Again, okay, uncle.
Speaker 10 (11:19):
Like you know, you talk about like if you want
to manifest something, you want to bring something into your life,
and then sometime we miss it, it'll show up, we
get worried, we know what happened. I think I'm doing
the process right. And you always talk about how you
think and what did you think? And when you're thinking,
you said, if I think about this like a remote
on the TV, I expected.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
Well, but you know, I mean, manifestation comes with a
requirement too. You just can't want something, you know. You know, people,
here's one of the biggest misconceptions. You ever heard somebody say,
if you want it bad enough, it will happen.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
You ever heard that?
Speaker 5 (11:54):
Yeah, Now let me ask y'all something. Have you ever
really wanted something and it never happened?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Of course, of course, won'ting.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Won'ting and manifesting its two different things, I believe, because
you know if both of them would require action. If
you manifest something to be true, it's going to require
as soon as you manifested. You got to have first
of all, faith, the belief that it can happen. Then
secondly you must remember that faith without works is dead.
(12:31):
So example, man, I'm gonna give me a job. I'm
gonna get me a job real soon. Okay, you're unemployed, right,
I'm gonna give me a job real soon. Thank you God.
I'm gonna get this job. And then you go home,
sit down. You don't fill out no application, you don't.
You don't, you don't send in no resumes. You're you're
(12:54):
just sitting there now.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
You really think.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Because you manifested, but you didn't have the faith and
you ain't putting no work behind it, that you finish
got your job. So you think someone gonna walk up
to your door and ring your doorbell and said, I
heard you've been manifested and I'm here to phill it. No, bro,
faith without works is dead. You have to do something.
(13:22):
Faith with our works is dead. Bro, you gotta do something.
You can't just sit up in and manifest. Come on,
answers your question?
Speaker 1 (13:29):
All right?
Speaker 8 (13:29):
He answered it for me.
Speaker 11 (13:32):
Thank you.
Speaker 7 (13:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (13:34):

What's it in regards to well, Actually, what's going to
happen is I'm gonna move to Court and what I
wanted to do, you know, uh see me in every
apartment I've always had. I've always lived in apartment three sixteen,
(15:36):
and I know you in three sixteen, so they you know,
the girl at the office gave me you know, because
I don't want to move nowhere else where. I can't
be in room three sixteen. I gotta be, you know,
it's just real superstitious. I know, but I kind of
got to have part hold on you.
Speaker 12 (15:50):
Say your name Vaughn?
Speaker 7 (15:52):
Yeah, yeah, I'm gone right. And who gave you my number?
Speaker 12 (15:54):
Again?
Speaker 7 (15:55):
One of the ladies at the lease in office when
I was over there.
Speaker 11 (15:58):
Who was it?
Speaker 7 (15:59):
I can't really remember her name? Man, uh little hey.
Speaker 12 (16:04):
Well listen, cut this and I'm gonna tell you like this, man,
I don't call you for nothing like that.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
Man.
Speaker 12 (16:09):
Now, I ain't moving out of my apartment. Man, I've
been staying up for four years. When I move out
of the apartment, I move in the house. You understand
all this got going with your which is which? Whatever
it is?
Speaker 7 (16:20):
You're three sixteen?
Speaker 12 (16:21):
You one three two?
Speaker 7 (16:22):
That's on you, man, it ain't I got to stay
in three sixteen, man, See that, That's what I'm trying
to say. I don't sign the least, so I'm stuck
with it. I got to get that apartment. So I said,
I'm gonna try to tell you would you like to
which which other apartment would you like to move to?
And I'm going to get them to move yourself all
the time over than nothing.
Speaker 12 (16:42):
I ain't nothing moving only thing gonna move is the numbers.
You can add them up, divide them, do whatever you
want to them. But I ain't moving, So you're gonna
have to get that to your head man. And really,
i'm because I don't know to gave you my number
was like this, I mean working Collis because.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
I don't even know no vun no, no, you don't
know me.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Dog.
Speaker 7 (17:03):
I asked them who was in three sixteen.
Speaker 12 (17:05):
They told me, sain't none of your business going three sixteen.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Man, Hey, listen, man, I'm trying to do this as
respectful as possible. You know, like I said, I really
can't function unless I'm living in apartment.
Speaker 12 (17:15):
Disrespect me, then do it disrespect for them, because I'm
gonna sew do this. You called me with like this,
I don't give a favorite now, don't care if that
was your favorite scripture.
Speaker 7 (17:24):
Okay, Hey till me with like that, man.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Team.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
Now, you're gonna make this hard, okay, So let me
let me tell you this to you. And I already
told the lady I want to be in three sixteen.
She told me I needed to deal with Dell. Now
I'm trying to deal with you in a polite way. Okay,
because like I say, I can't function man, unless I'm
in apartment three sixteen, I can't. I can't even get
them go to work. I cannot function. Okay, I have
to have that apartment number, dude.
Speaker 12 (17:48):
Right, So it sounds like you got a problem on
your hands. Man, whatever your problem is, that's your problem.
Speaker 7 (17:53):
Ain't got to do with me.
Speaker 12 (17:55):
Don't call me, you know like that. Like I say,
I've been staying in three sixteen, I'm gonna stay in
three sixteen till I moved to a house. You need
to find something else to do. And really I'm starting.
They gave you my number to call me with.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
I can't believe.
Speaker 7 (18:12):
Like the way you're talking to you talking to me.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
First, what you come at me with?
Speaker 12 (18:16):
Come at me with a number that looks like you
man three sixteen?
Speaker 7 (18:22):
What excuse me?
Speaker 11 (18:23):
Doog?
Speaker 7 (18:24):
What you're like you calling me with this?
Speaker 12 (18:26):
I tell you what, man, come at me to come
at my problem that you're gonna see it? Man, you
understand I'm.
Speaker 7 (18:32):
Saying, hey man, I'm trying to handle this respectably. Man, Okay,
all right, said I'm trying to do. Listen to me.
I'm trying to tell you honestly, dog, I cannot function
outside of them three numbers. I have to live in
an apartment three sixteen.
Speaker 12 (18:44):
That ain't my business.
Speaker 7 (18:45):
Man. No, I don't want to have to come move, Yo,
but I.
Speaker 6 (18:48):
Do hold on with running back with sake.
Speaker 7 (18:51):
I said, I don't want to have to move.
Speaker 11 (18:52):
YO.
Speaker 6 (18:54):
Said that.
Speaker 12 (18:54):
Now let me what You're gonna come move my I want? Hey,
matter of fact, come yes, come on, come move three sixteen,

Speaker 6 (19:04):

Speaker 12 (19:06):
Come on, two ten sided, come on, move yet all
kind of going on the world with numbers. They got
three other six five days?
Speaker 6 (19:13):
Deal with this.
Speaker 12 (19:14):
I mean it works, you want. I'm on my nine
to five and you come at me about three sixteen.
I'm gonna move somebody. That's all I got to say. Man,
it's gonna be you before I did, before I deal
with you, though, I'm gonna get the least off even
giving you my number all day.
Speaker 7 (19:29):
Hey man, I'm just trying to tell you I have
to stay under them numbers. Man, I have to. I'm
superstitious like that. I know, I know everybody ain't like that,
but I just happen to be like that. You don't say.
Speaker 12 (19:39):
Nobody ain't like that, man. I ain't got time to
be dealing. Really, everybody ain't got time to sit up
listen like this man. You look at him, Christian man.
Other than I've been out this job looking what what
appointment number did they give you?
Speaker 7 (19:51):
They gave me like three twenty nine or something like that.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
I don't.
Speaker 7 (19:54):
I can't stay there, man.
Speaker 12 (19:55):
That's why I'm gonna meet you a man meet dead
three twenty nine, six o'clock. How about them numbers?
Speaker 7 (20:01):
Okay, okay, So how about these numbers right here? A
seven seven twenty nine, Steve? What this means? A seven
seven twenty nass Steve?
Speaker 12 (20:10):
Eight seven seven twenty nine.
Speaker 7 (20:11):
Ce. You ain't never heard that number before.
Speaker 12 (20:15):
It's fun for me.
Speaker 7 (20:16):

See where you at, me and women and everybody you
(24:27):

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I can never reveal that true number. What the song
we wish we could think of? What was I think?
Speaker 7 (24:55):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yes, Lord?
Speaker 12 (24:59):
All right?
Speaker 8 (25:00):
Madline and Charleston writes, I was celibate for four years
and ended up having sex with the man I was dating.
It was unprotected sex, even though he told me he
wore protection. I am resentful and I don't know if
I can trust him.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Now.
Speaker 8 (25:16):
Should I go back to being celibate?
Speaker 1 (25:20):
You don't know, I don't know. You you got another problem?
Do you have baby?
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Baby coming? Have you been to the clinic? You got
some other things you need to worry about? Should I
go back to being celling. You might have to go
back to the clinics, which you might have to go
back to. Yeah, where about celibate? You might have to
go back.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
I don't know that.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
I can't. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
I don't know you.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
I don't know what you did. I don't know what
he's say.
Speaker 11 (25:48):
I don't know you.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
He said it was protected, but it wasn't. How you
let that happen.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Protect? I'm confused right here? Yeah, yeah, you know? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (26:03):
All right, okay, example, let me give you an example.
How I think that is somebody come over to your
house and knock on the door. You open the door,
and you let them in the house, but they nick
it and you don't know that.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
I think you would know that.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I think you would.
Speaker 7 (26:22):
Yeah, what.
Speaker 8 (26:27):
Ding dong?
Speaker 1 (26:29):
You look through the people, you open the door, you
let them in. They butt naked. You didn't know that. Ladies,
come on, you can't be there, hey, ladies, come on now, lady,
and this last. All right, lady. You can't open the
(26:49):
door for everybody.
Speaker 8 (26:51):
No, you thank you. That's that's good. I like that,
all right. Moving on to Sherman and Patterson. Sherman I
was stunned after My wife lied to me about something
so petty. She was in the grocery store and I
saw her card there, but she told me she was
still at work. Now, I lie to her all the
(27:13):
time for good reasons. Why is she telling lies for
no reason? Come on, explain that one.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
You cannot be the determining factor of when the lie
is told. You just said you lie all the time.
Well not get what she do too? Be lying too?
Speaker 5 (27:39):
Listen, man, this don't do not turn away a gift?
Huh what do not turn away a free gift? Once
you find out your wife lies, you have now full
permission to lie at real. Oh oh are we lying now?
Speaker 8 (28:06):
Cool?
Speaker 5 (28:09):
So just going man, And it wasn't that big a deal.
She told you she was at work. She was at
the grocery store, you know.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
But he want to tell you what now?
Speaker 5 (28:20):
She just gonna tell you she forgot Yeah, I thought
I was, well, oh yeah I did stop by the
grocery store.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Yeah, you're right, that's it's easy to get out.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
But yeah, he doesn't mind the lion. He just doesn't
want her to lie for no reason, just a petty lie,
you know.
Speaker 5 (28:36):
Always that's the issue that is all ways a reason
she told you that lie for a reason.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
He don't know who is the reason that she was.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
Somebody was in the grocery store at the same time. Wait,
what you know the butcher, the dude.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
That's cutting the meat. He could be big buffed up dude.
You know she getting free free lamb chops and stuff.
Speaker 11 (29:07):
You don't know.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
All of a sudden, you getting prime cut some meat.
Speaker 8 (29:14):
Hold on now, yeah, it goes.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Somebody got to put in some work to get these
prime cuts. It's crazy.
Speaker 8 (29:27):
Talking about they eat your food and be quiet. It
took a lot to get this all right. Last one,
last one, clo. This is from Kenny Ray in Lake Charles.
Kenny Ray writes, my coworker called to Vin about her
baby daddy. I put it on speaker phone so my
wife would know what's up. She's still tripping, saying my
(29:50):
coworker and I are too close. How do I get
her to understand there is nothing going on.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
I'm gonna sure you that's Kenner Ray.
Speaker 8 (30:01):
Well, it says Kenny.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
Well, see, Kenny Ray, your wife want to know why
she ain't called it nobody else? Why she got called
Kenny Ray? That par why you to counselor we got
problems over here.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
You ain't fixed trying to fix this helpless life. No,
it ain't. Oh they just all right, all right?
Speaker 8 (30:27):
Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (30:39):

Speaker 8 (30:39):

That's gonna make you understand.
Speaker 8 (31:33):
Hence the name Ghost. I don't know, right, but Tommy
and and uh are good. You know, they're really good.
They're really really good. So we'll see how that works.
But okay, all right, moving on, what Steve you loved Power.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
To give us updates? Yeah, I used to do my
updates on Power.
Speaker 9 (31:59):
But I watch the show, you dicause I ain't never
seen that.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
I justn't know what's going on.
Speaker 8 (32:04):
But you love the show though. Yeah, all right, Game
of Thrones and Power. He's wrong, yes, now listen to this, guys. Recently,
rapper and philanthropist Jezi was a guest on The Today
Show and he shared why he hasn't been dating since
his divorce back in twenty twenty four. Jezi said, quote,
(32:26):
I'm dating myself right now, and I feel like, as
a man, you should always take time to be with yourself.
Jezi went on to say that he prioritizes his self
love by taking himself on a solo date every Wednesday night.
He says he gets dressed up, heads to his favorite
sushi spot, orders sushi about osaki, and he eats alone.
(32:49):
He've views this weekly ritual as essential for healing and
for personal growth and being comfortable in his own company.
I know a lot of women do this, Carla, but
but do you guys take time to prioritize yourselves.
Speaker 4 (33:04):
If you do, what do you do?
Speaker 8 (33:05):
You take yourself on a date.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Yeah, I'm not that fine.
Speaker 8 (33:11):
So what you gotta be fine to go on a
date with you?
Speaker 5 (33:14):
What do you I've never been there. I've never looked
in the mirror and say I have got to take
you out. I just never felt that.
Speaker 8 (33:25):
But this is a whole self love thing.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
You know, you gotta love.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Look fishing, see heaven.
Speaker 8 (33:32):
You're you're a lone time your reset, I just call
it a long time not dating. So you're you have
a problem with the word dating, with the words dating yourself.
You don't like that you progress.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
I appreciate him saying I'm not out there loving on me.
I'm not attracted to me. Yeah, I'm just no, it's
finally coming out there you go.
Speaker 7 (34:00):
The one?
Speaker 8 (34:00):
So fine?
Speaker 9 (34:01):
Yeah, he said, Wow, you don't.
Speaker 8 (34:05):
You don't go take yourself out on dates or do
nice things for yourself.
Speaker 9 (34:09):
I try to, But my wife don't let me go
nowhere by myself.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Are you for real?
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Really?
Speaker 9 (34:17):
What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (34:17):
She doesn't let go by herself? Have himself, Junior go
by herself and she is two for thirty.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
I can't even participates his favorite let's run my favorite
sushi spot. So yeah, wow, you guys wouldn't. Okay, all right,
but you do other things for self to take care
of yourself. Self presentation, Yeah you go. Don't you get
facial imagine.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
I can't imagine walking in the restaurant alone. I can't imagine.
Speaker 8 (34:54):
Yeah, okay, yeah, it's a bit progressive.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
It is all right, all right, moving on.
Speaker 8 (35:02):
According to CNN Elon, Musk is on track to become
the world's first trillionaire, driven by the massive valuation of
SpaceX and as it prepares for his initial public offering
on the Nasdaq. He combined holdings across Tesla and SpaceX.
His combined holdings, i should say, across Tesla and SpaceX
(35:25):
are expected to push his net worth well over one
trillion dollars. Wow, that's a lot. Most of us can't
think past billions. But now he's on track to become
the first trillionaire ochre. He currently holds approximately two hundred
and seventy three billion dollars in Tesla stock. It should
(35:46):
be noted that Musk's fortune is primarily made of paper wealth,
which are his shares and his companies, rather than the
cash in the bank. Yes, Steve, yes, Hello.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
Do you think Tesla is worth more than all this
oil in this world? You think Saudi, the uae Katar?
You think he got more money than them people that
run them countries. You have got to have lost your
rabbit mind. But this was a man that was in
charge of cutting jobs. Job mayor Doge, she had.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
To justify their employment. He's a trick.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
See Doge was a trick created by a project twenty
twenty five. Trump loved him because Trump loves anybody that
makes money, especially anybody who makes more money than him.
So he put him in charge of the budget because
he figured he would know. But no, he doesn't know,
because he's never been without. So he came in and
made all these massive cuts with DEI, all this his stuff,
(36:44):
not even understanding what he had done. That he had
messed up the aviation securities, that he had messed up
veterans or rights and benefits, he had taken everything, and
all those tax cuts that he called his self saving.
They gave those tax cuts, biggest tax cuts in history
to the rich and when rich people get a tax cut,
they don't take the money they save in tax cuts
(37:05):
and give it to you.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
All right, clearly, all right, all right?
Speaker 8 (37:08):
Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Sir Idris Elba,
Sir Idris Elba says that casting a black man is
James Bond is unrealistic. We'll talk about it right after this.
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think about the people
who mean the most to you. Giving them valuable protection
(37:32):
is a great gift you can offer, and Globe Life
Insurance can make it easy. With Globelife coverage. There's no
medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step for
the people you love. Call Globe Life at one eight
hundred two five one fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio
dot com. That's one eight hundred two five one fifty
four hundred or Globelife radio dot com. In an interview
(37:56):
with British GQ the Newly United, Sir Idris Elba, I
love that ring. It has a nice ring to it.
Sir Idris Elba confirmed that the long standing rumors that
he would star as the next James Bond were never legit.
He said that casting a black actor for that role
is not realistic because Bond is a global franchise in
(38:17):
some international cultures and film markets simply will not accept
a black or African male playing the iconic British superstar.
Sir Idris Elba stated that Bond is so unrealistic. Uh So,
a hint of reality is good, but let's not try
to make it woke. I think you've got to be
(38:40):
pure to what is escapism. Don't try and answer the
world's taste. Just be Bond. So do you agree, Tommy
you're an actor? Yes, yes, yes, Steve.
Speaker 5 (38:56):
Can I ask you a question, uh huh. In all
of your movie watching, and you all watch more movies
than me the leading man, has there ever been a
leading man who was black and all white women swooned
at his feet?
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Is there a movie like that.
Speaker 8 (39:15):
All white women? De zel in white women.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
I'm not dying. I ask you that. I said, is
there a movie.
Speaker 5 (39:27):
Is there the actor that depicts a black leading man
with white women falling head over.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Heels over No? No, in the history of.
Speaker 5 (39:41):
Okay, yeah, Now what you will have is a white
male lead and black women. He getting black women and
white women, but they will not allow for a black man.
And what and the Interest is saying is so true,
because if they put a black black man, they're gonna
have to put some black women. They're gonna have to
(40:03):
put some black women in that movie. It's sir, they
will not Shirley.
Speaker 8 (40:09):

we was talking about.
Speaker 3 (40:48):

Speaker 5 (40:52):

worship town. Y'all better. Hey, don't even go together.
Speaker 8 (52:26):

nothing wrong with that. It's uplift there.

You're other king, though, I'll give you that you're out
the king.
Speaker 9 (52:41):
Of past you sometime.
Speaker 10 (52:43):
How did you come up with draws at the retirement
What was what happened to you that you thought you
had to do this?
Speaker 1 (52:48):
Because it's a very sensitive subject.
Speaker 11 (52:51):
Draws is an issue at the retirement home and you
don't know that, but you got to understand what's going
on there at a lot of draws, a lot of
issues with draws.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
You gotta know that.
Speaker 11 (52:59):
Yeah, really, we don't want to get into the draw
Let's not get into the draw. Let's just talk draws
on the surface level. You see what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
Don't go, don't go now.
Speaker 8 (53:11):
Now you want to have some decorum about yourself?
Speaker 9 (53:15):

it could be yours.
Speaker 11 (56:46):
It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
We got it for you here it is strawberry.
Speaker 8 (56:50):
Let up, all right, nephew, thank you. Subject. He's going
to explode one day, Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm dating the
most pleasant man in the world, and I'm just waiting
for him to explode. One day. We can be driving
along and someone will cut me off. My reaction is
to curse out the other driver. But my man smiles
(57:11):
and said that maybe the other driver is having a
bad day. I got packages the other day and it
was pouring down, raining, and it was left in the
rain instead of under the porch. I was so mad
that the next day I went off on the deliverer.
When he came by, my man came to the door
and pulled me gently away from the door and spoke
(57:32):
softly to the guy and told him he's sure that
he's doing the best he can at his job. It
drives me crazy that he doesn't get upset over anything.
Even when I'm not in the mood for sex. He
cuddles me and said there's always tomorrow, and he falls asleep.
I can't do anything to get him out of character.
He doesn't get upset with trifling service at a restaurant,
(57:54):
even when his order is messed up. Last month, he
got overlooked for a promotion at work, and he said
he's going to find another job because clearly it's not
the right place for him. I want him to be
a fighter and get upset and defend himself. He won't.
I love him for being a gentleman, but there's a
fine line between being nice and being soft. He never
(58:15):
tries to change how I am as a person. So
am I wrong for wanting him to change? Is this
a good thing or not? Why say this? Yes, you
are wrong for trying to change him. Either you accept
him how he is or you don't. I mean he's
not like you. He handles things away. He handles them period.
(58:36):
Everyone is not going to curse people out get into
a fight about what they think is not worth fighting over.
He picks his battles. That's smart. Now, having said that,
I got to say that a woman does want to
feel safe, she wants to feel protected with the man.
But in this letter you didn't say you didn't feel
secure with him. You just said you wanted him to
(58:57):
fight and defend himself. But you know there has been
no occasion for that. You just talked about your packages
that got wet and bad drivers that cut you off
and you curse them out. You want him to get
out of character and be more like you, but you
don't talk about his good character traits. I mean, what
about his self control? He hasn't lost his temper in
(59:18):
front of you. He treats you well. A man you
said was the most pleasant man in the world. You said,
he's a gentleman. What's wrong with that? You think he's
too soft, don't you? And you're waiting for him to explode.
And when he explodes or if then what I mean?
I think the test for you will be if you're
in some sort of dangerous situation and he comes through
(59:39):
like Superman or something, but you don't like him like
he is. If you don't like that, move on, get
a gangster or something.
Speaker 5 (59:46):
Steve, I think this lady has missed the point in
this letter, completely missed the point, because you're looking at
what you don't have, and you fell in to realize
what you do have.
Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
It's a perfect example.
Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
I'm dating the most pleasant man in the world, and
I'm just waiting for him to explode one day.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Why why, what is that?
Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
What is that crazy request for? You're dating the most
gentleman in the world, that's who you're married to. That's crazy.
Why would you want any exploding man? It don't make
no sense.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Lady.
Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
We can be driving along somebody cut me off. My
reaction is to cuss out the other driver. But my
man smiles and says, maybe the other drivers having a
bad day. Do you know what happens in roads? Rage
incidents all over this country. Somebody jumps out and that's
his last day on earth.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Some food shoots.
Speaker 5 (01:00:48):
A man pulls up next to the window because he
was cussing these people crazy. Today your man realizes that
that's not a good use of energy cussing the man
out next door you he already been cut off.
Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
You're not finna pull up next to him and teach
him a lesson.
Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
No, you mess around, pull up there, and your man
gone because he done shot into the passenger side, and
your man gone because you want to run your mouth.
I'm a little bit confused with your letter, lady. I
got packages the other day was pouring down rain, and
he got left in the rain instead of under the porch.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
I was so mad.
Speaker 5 (01:01:23):
The next day I went off on the delivery man
when he came back. Who know to put your packages
under the porch. The delivery man can't predict the rain,
and when he puts your packages out there, it might
have been dry. Then it started raining. He didn't put
him under the porch. Who put the boxes under the porch?
Who has instructions to put your boxes under the porch?
(01:01:47):
My man came to the door gently pulled me away
out of danger, I might add, spoke softly to the
guy and told him he's sure he's doing the best
he can at his job. You don't know what this
man going through today, You out there tripping about this.
Packages got left in the ring. First of all, like
I'm telling you the man, it might have been dry
(01:02:08):
when he put the packages down, and who knows to
put it anyway, Your man saved your kid. He drives
me czy crazy that he don't get upset over anything.
Even when I'm in the not in the mood for sex.
He cuddles with me and says there's always tomorrow, and
he falls asleep.
Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
Well, some things ain't worth all.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Get over.
Speaker 5 (01:02:29):
Hello, I don't want to do it tonight. In the
back of this man, he could be saying, well, it
ain't all that, no way. So you see, you know
what I'm saying, a lot of things could be going
on here. Lady, You're married to a gentle man, and
you need to think because one day because Posey said
I don't want hand sex, and the hego it ain't
(01:02:52):
worth you nothing. See right there now, I can't do
anything to get him out of It's just an I'll
be back and I'll share with you what I think
the serus.
Speaker 8 (01:03:04):
All right, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of
your response coming up at twenty three minutes after today's
Strawberry Letters subject. He's going to explode one day. We'll
get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):

Speaker 8 (01:04:10):
All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
The subject is he is going to explode one day.
Speaker 5 (01:04:17):
Yeah, that's what the letter is about. This lady's married
to this really gentle man and she thinks he's going
to explode one day. Well, why would you want that?
It doesn't make any sense at all. So she don't
like the way he handles a lot of stuff because
he hands it in the general way. In a general way,
you know, somebody cut her off on the road. She
(01:04:38):
cuts him out. Her reaction is, hey, just calm down.
Man might be having a bad day. He's probably saved
y'all life several times.
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
You won't even know that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
Then you got some packages the other day and the
delivery man left him in the rain. You went off
on him and cussed him out about that. You know
it might have been dry when a man dropped it.
Now you ma because he didn't put them under the porch.
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Who do that? Who do that?
Speaker 5 (01:05:04):
And who has the same delivery man every single day.
I don't know how Amazon works. I don't know if
you get a different driver or the same driver he
got a route. I don't know how it works. I
ain't like the mailman.
Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
But anyway, anybody got put your boxes under the porch.
They put him on the dose step. But a dop
ball ringer can see if somebody steal your box. Anybody
can go up under that side porch. Your dope bail
camera don't show over there. You just ungrateful man came
by and told the driver, Hey man, it's gonna be
(01:05:36):
all right. I know he's probably having a bad day.
Pulled you away out of danger again, because you're always
up in some man face running your mouth. It drives
me crazy. He don't get over set on nothing, even
when I'm not in the mood for sex. He just
cuddles and says, as always, tomorrow falls asleep. Man, that's
a great guy. Cause I'm telling you right now, keep
(01:05:56):
telling me you don't want to do it?
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
Keep on? What are you gonna?
Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
I tell you what, I tell you what I bet somebody. Okay,
he just gone go to sleep. I can't do anything
to get him out of character. Why would you want
to do that?
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
Lady? What do you want? Do you want this control, kind,
caring man?
Speaker 7 (01:06:21):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
You want to be married to a fool? Because they're
out there now.
Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
He don't get upset with trifling service at a restaurant,
even if his orders messed up.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
Why get mad?
Speaker 7 (01:06:32):
Do you know?
Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
The worst person to get mad at is the person
that's bringing you some food. You should always talk kindly
to these people and get what you want, even at
the excuse me, I'm sorry I got the wrong order.
I know you're probably busy back there, but I ordered
the sew and such such such. Oh yeah, but it's okay.
I know you, but just you know, when you get
a moment i'd like to eat it. It's cause you
(01:06:54):
come back and spit in your food. You know, had
a dropping stuff in your food in the back. That's
why he don't get upset because he got sense. Last
month he got overlooked for a promotion at work, and
he said he's gonna find another job because clearly is
not the right place for him. I want him to
be a fighter and get up and said, what are
you gonna do? Go on here and argue with these white.
Speaker 8 (01:07:17):
Folks one more time?
Speaker 5 (01:07:22):
Get it, go on here and argue with the white folks. Man,
this dude just got it. Ain't get no promotion. He said, look,
I'm gonna give me another job. Obviously this is not
the place for me, well thought out. That's the gangster move.
The gangster move ain't to go in there and fight.
How come I ain't get the promotion? Then they tell
you why you ain't get the promotion. Now you still
don't get the promotion. Now you gotta go in there
and sit and find out that he was better that
(01:07:44):
they thought he was better than him. No, what you
do is get another job, walk in and say, hey,
here's my two week notice. I didn't get the promotion.
So I know that's not the right place for me.
I've moved my talents elsewhere. That's the gangster move. But
you don't see that. No, you've been You've been dating
stupid people, going there and slap the boss.
Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
Now here in jail. Now you got to your bail money.
You speak.
Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
I love him for being a gentleman, but there's a
fine line between nice and being soft. I don't see
this guy as soft at all. I think he's calculated
and smart, highly intelligent.
Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
That's what I think.
Speaker 5 (01:08:24):
He never tries to change how I am as a person.
So am I wrong for wanting to change him? Is
this a good thing or that? Why would you want
to change him?
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
What do you want?
Speaker 5 (01:08:33):
Why would you want the opposite of who he is?
Do you know how many women have the opposite and
wish they had what you had? You're one of those
people where you don't realize what you have. You wanted
to go off and snap. Now, listen to me, he's
already saved you a few times. You're cussing people out
on the road. He keeps a situation cool because he
(01:08:56):
don't have a gun under his arm wrest to bust
a cap and so he does the intelligent thing let
it go instead of running into some food with roads rage.
Now you got bullets flying in your wonder he stopped
you from that. You're out there cussing out the delivery
man that didn't put your boxes under the porch. Your
(01:09:16):
package ain't that important. Now you're in here arguing with
this man. He got to go and gently pull you
away from the door. He stepped up in your place,
diffused his situation. So your next package don't come crushed
because you're talking to this man like he crazed. Lady,
you have completely missed the point of what you have
(01:09:40):
a lady, Yeah, listen, I got a partner you could
have married and none of this would be happening. TV
really would be down at the clinic in therapy right
now trying to figure out, Lord, why did I marry
this food?
Speaker 8 (01:09:55):

See, Junior, when you're a sports caster, you're supposed to

New York is gonna be talking to the rest of
the world.
Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
You are very partial, Junior. You're partial to Houston.
Speaker 9 (01:11:53):
Okay, well, but yeah that's where I'm from. I like
Houston team. That's what ain't you partially?
Speaker 14 (01:11:58):
That's why I just tell you, as a sports cancer,
you're gonna have to be non partialist. What I'm saying,
We're not that type of We're not that type of castle. Yeah,
we're gonna be partially. Yeah, yeah, I just wanted to
clear it up, you know.
Speaker 10 (01:12:12):
So you know, but to the game for tonight. No,
President Trump will be there to night. He will not
be in the building tonight, thank god, because that boy
was vicious I know one thing I've been boo before
that boot hurt. I don't care who you trying to
act like you.
Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Lost cause he was probably.
Speaker 8 (01:12:29):
That's what they're saying. He's a chin that is.
Speaker 9 (01:12:31):
Yeah, yeah yeah, Well have you have you seen a vision?
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
I have seen something.
Speaker 8 (01:12:42):
Yeah like that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
I was there.
Speaker 10 (01:12:50):

Speaker 9 (01:13:06):

Speaker 7 (01:13:27):

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):

Speaker 5 (01:13:33):
Victor stays healthy and learns the nuances of the NBA
as he is fastly catching on.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
He's gonna be something special.
Speaker 7 (01:13:43):
Man.
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
He a super talented guy, but he got it and
big boys. Man, it's hard for him to stay healthy.
So I hope he stays healthy.
Speaker 1 (01:13:51):
He is a giant.
Speaker 8 (01:13:54):
All right, Sure, there you go, All right, Junior, thank you?
All right. Coming up at the top of the where
a man is offended because his girlfriend judged his living conditions.
We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is from Gabe and Beth.
(01:14:14):
Gabe says, I was fresh off my divorce when I
met my girlfriend two months ago. We have been vibing
and having a great time together until the other night
when I got sick and she had to drive me home.
She saw that I am temporarily sleeping on an air
mattress until my furniture arrives. She was quick to judge me,
(01:14:35):
even after I reminded her that I just got divorced.
Is it best for me to be the bigger person
and move past this? Or should I tell her that
she handled me the wrong way? So it's interesting.
Speaker 11 (01:14:48):
Come here, tell maumya, I'm mentioned though. I'll tell you
that right now. Are you going to get home with you?
Speaker 6 (01:14:52):
Thanks?
Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
I don't know. Oh, I think she showed you who
she was. Yeah, and I think you should believe it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:03):
And and then just proceed with caution from there, you know,
and because there'll be other signs, just don't rush into it,
you know.
Speaker 8 (01:15:14):
Yeah, and after a divorce, you do have you if
you lose everything you got to.
Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
But you know what, it wouldn't it wouldn't be bad
to say, hey, look that wasn't we were the other day.
Kind of bothered me. The way you reacted when you
saw I was living on living on the air mattress.
I told you I just got a divorced. I may
know some furniture get repaired. I just thought it was
a little bit quick rush to judgment about me as
a person. You could say that and see what she says.
This would be a good time to find out.
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
So yeah, I would say, okay.
Speaker 8 (01:15:43):
So you would say something. All right, all right, we
have time for another one. This is from Jill in
Santa Monica. Jill says, my daughter and I wear the
same size and clothes and shoes. I put a code
lock on my closet because she helps herself to sh
his clothes and purses and some of my things still
have the tags on them. My husband said they're just
(01:16:06):
material possessions, and he's right, But I worked hard for
everything in there. Why would he side with the twenty
three year old spoiled brat and not me, his wife
of twenty five years.
Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
Wait a minute, lady, what your attitude shouldn't be with
this man?
Speaker 11 (01:16:26):
Huh?
Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
Your attitude shouldn't be with your husband. What you mad
at your husband.
Speaker 8 (01:16:32):
About because he sided with the daughter who steals the
mom's clothes?
Speaker 5 (01:16:36):
I mean you know who your daughter is the problem? Yeah,
now you want him to side with you. He just
tells me chills stuff. Y'all got a baby that goes
in there and raise your closet him saying he thinks
it don't bother him because it ain't his stuff. Your
problem should be focused on the daughter. Why don't you
(01:16:57):
get your daughter to understand, to respect the fact that
you've worked hard for all those nice things and they
still have tags on it.
Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
Why don't you have this conversation with your daughter?
Speaker 8 (01:17:06):
But I mean he understanding she wants her husband to,
you know, them, to present a united front. If her
husband's on the daughter's side, I mean she may not
get anywhere with the daughter.
Speaker 15 (01:17:17):
That's This has nothing to do with the husband. It's
not his closet, it's not his clothes. He's not in
there taking anything. Why she need help raising her daughter?
Speaker 8 (01:17:30):
Yeah, but she she's his kid too. She just wants
them to be together on this. Him not to take
the daughter's side.
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
That's all. Surely the girl is twenty three years old, right, y'all.
Speaker 11 (01:17:41):
Don't have it.
Speaker 5 (01:17:42):
You don't have enough sense to go in there and go, hey,
don't come in this closet no more. Take you some
I know this situation. I bet I know this situation.
I know you yo, stay out of that. I let
the film handled that. I'll stay out of it.
Speaker 8 (01:18:02):
Okay, all right, she just I guess she wants some
support from her husband.
Speaker 5 (01:18:07):
No, Marjori ain't never came in to me and said, Hi,
am I gonna get this girl to stay out of
my closet.
Speaker 11 (01:18:12):
Tell her.
Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Yeah, that is this is how I go. Right here,
let me give you just a small example. Bring it
in here again. That's a great opening statement.
Speaker 8 (01:18:23):
Yes, yeah, it's been cool. Yeah, okay, yeah, that's crazy.
What if it were your son, Steve, you would say
the same thing.
Speaker 5 (01:18:36):
Possible for me to have that problem. It's impossible for
me to have that problem.
Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
They already know.
Speaker 8 (01:18:44):
Don't mess with dad stuff. Yeah, all right, coming up,

(01:25:28):
Steve close us out Hey.
Speaker 5 (01:25:31):
You know our closing remarks today is about something that's
special to a lot of men's hearts. I have a
celebration once a year with a group of fraternity brothers
from the greatest fraternity Omegasi five Fraternity Incorporated. We celebrate
(01:25:52):
and I'm sure the noops feel that way about theirs.
The Alphas feel that way about theirs, the Sigmas feel
that way about theirs. Olders feel that way about theirs.
Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
I'm sure they do.
Speaker 5 (01:26:05):
But it's it's it's special when you're a part of
some organizations. I know there's a lot of people out
here now. I hear people denouncing the Divine Nine and
denouncing their fraternity. I never experienced that. I don't even
know what they're talking about. I never I never took
a vow or a ritual to an idle god. I
(01:26:27):
never bowed before anybody but my Lord and Savior. I've
never There's nothing in our writings that ask us to
pledge allegiance to a idle god or something like that.
All that stuff right there, I don't even know what
they talking about. There's some people saying some stuff that
I'm just unaware of. I don't know what you're talking about.
It's not it'll make a sci fi period, it's just not.
(01:26:52):
And if you want to not be a part of something,
to just go ahead. What is all this going online
to a denounce it?
Speaker 1 (01:26:58):
In all this here? Just go away.
Speaker 5 (01:27:03):
You know you probably wasn't financial, no way, Just just
go away. You probably wou wasn't even participating.
Speaker 4 (01:27:08):
Just go away.
Speaker 5 (01:27:11):
Stop trying to make everybody think they're going to hell
because they're in the fact.
Speaker 4 (01:27:14):
That's not true.
Speaker 1 (01:27:16):
That's just not true.
Speaker 5 (01:27:17):
I just want to say that, man, I happen to
be a member of one, and and and every year
I'll get together with a group of men that we
have remained friends since the seventies. We all met in
the seventies. Most of us met in the same year
(01:27:40):
of seventy four. It's some that was there before, but
most of us met in seventy four. So this is
like fifty two years of friendship.
Speaker 1 (01:27:54):
And we all cues.
Speaker 5 (01:27:56):
And we gather together. Man, And for me, it's quite
special because these are the only people from who knew
me before I was any of this. These are the
only people I can sit around and be naturally and
completely who I am. And I'm so grateful to God
(01:28:18):
for that gift. I don't have to pretend. I don't
have to fake, I don't have to front. I don't
have to sit here and talk a certain way, be
mindful of what's coming out of my mouth. No, man,
I can sit there and just be my natural black
self in all of it. And it's my new Christmas.
(01:28:39):
You know, Christmas used to be my favorite holiday, but
now it's for my grandkids. You know, Christmas is for them,
watching them, you know, sit around that tree, opening gifts
and stuff. And I sit there, man, smile and watch
them do all of this stuff. It's just a great thing,
you know.
Speaker 7 (01:28:57):
But this.
Speaker 5 (01:28:59):
Once a year, two week event that I throw in
my ranch, it's special, man, and it reminds me of
a bond of friendship that is so essential. You know,
there's this great organization. When you break down what the
(01:29:20):
interpretation of their letters mean, it means friendship is essential
to the soul. And I'm gonna tell you something I've learned.
It is essential. You got to have a friend. You
can live in this world without your mother. I've done it.
You can live in this world without your father, I've
done it. You can live in this world when your
(01:29:42):
big brother passes on. I'm doing that too. You can
live in this world with a lot of stuff. But
I'm gonna tell you something you cannot live without. You
cannot live in this world without a friend. You have
to have a friend.
Speaker 1 (01:29:57):
Man.
Speaker 5 (01:29:58):
You gotta get somebody on planet Earth that you can
tell it to, Somebody that'll staying with you. I don't
care what you done got yourself in. I don't care
what your circumstances, I don't care what the deal reveals.
Somebody who will stand with you in the clutch and say, hey, man,
I'm with you and non judgmental.
Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
Man, what you do that for it?
Speaker 5 (01:30:19):
Bruh, I'm just telling you I did it and why
I did it. I made a mistake. I just need
somebody there. And when you have a friend, you have
something special. And I have some friends, a large group
of them, and we've been friends in this special thing
for fifty two years. Fifty two years of friendship, man,
(01:30:43):
and we still gather, we still laugh now. During the year,
they see each other, oftentimes in Cleveland because a lot
of us from Ohio, a lot of they get together
for barbecues and stuff like different gatherings they have up
their district meetings. I only get to see them once
a year, and it's the best time of the year
for me. So let me tell you something, Man, if
(01:31:04):
you have friends somewhere, celebrate your friendships. Celebrate them because
they're rare, and the older you get, the more rare
they become, because you learn the true definition of friendship.
They're not associates, they're friends. And so if you have that, man, celebrated,
(01:31:28):
enjoy your time with your friends if you can. I
want to send a shout out to the queues all
over the world. I want to send a shout out
to all the noops all over the world, all of
the Sigmas all over the world, all of the ourphas
all over the world, all the eye oldas all over
the world.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
Celebrate each other.
Speaker 5 (01:31:44):
Man, y'all got brotherhood, but we got friendship, slight difference.
Y'all have a great day today. Talk to God today.
He would absolutely love to hear from you. Y'all stay
in peace all right.
