NFL Owners Hold Off on Banning the “Tush Push”
For now, the Tush Push isn’t going anywhere. NFL owners tabled a proposal to ban the controversial short-yardage play, originally pushed by the Green Bay Packers.
While the move has gained support from 16 teams, many argue that banning it would make football less competitive and less exciting. The debate will pick back up in May’s spring meetings. Until then, expect teams—especially the Eagles—to keep pushing.
