Toby and Chili mornings on demand on 97.1 Wash FM.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
97.1 Wash FM. Time to wake up DC. We're Toby
and Chili in the morning. Chili, why are you feeling
great this morning?
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Well, the bad news is our garage door is open.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
Long story. One of the cars is trapped in there.
Good news is my dad only lives a mile away.
So he is able to lend his car to my
husband so he can get our son to school. Because
he had to Uber from our son the other day.
Speaker 5 (00:28):
Wait a second.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
So the garage door is broken and your husband's car
is locked in the garage?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Correct.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
But they're coming this afternoon to figure it out. I'm
sure there's some sort of contraption that we still, anyway.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
Yeah, no, I know. It's very technical. Too much to
understand this morning.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
It's too much to understand.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
We're simple-minded people.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
We've been dealing with it for a couple of days.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Where are you parking?
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Well, I was already not in the garage. I had
already escaped before the issue happened.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Okay, that's right. So, okay, got it.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I had already gotten out of the garage.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Translation, it broke while she was at work.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
That's correct.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
That's correct.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Well, it's good to have family nearby for that specific reason.
I envy that and so many different people here in
the DMV sometimes. I'm feeling great this morning because I
randomly sent an email to the outgoing CEO of Apple.
His name's Tim Cook, the other day. And because his
last day was, I guess... two days ago. And I,
(01:21):
this morning got an email back from him. I couldn't
believe it. I just thanked him for everything he'd done
as CEO. Cause I'm a big Apple fan and he
shoots it back. It wasn't, it's not like he said much.
He's just like, thanks Toby war Eagle, which is a
reference to where he went to college.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
And then he said, best Tim. And I'm like, all right, man.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
You know, I just thought it was cool because I
didn't expect that. And even if it was an assistant
who might have written it.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
It doesn't matter. Somebody from the top office got back
to you.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Now he's the executive chairman. So, you know, hey, I
guess that's what they do with people when they're going
to retire. They promote them to the executive chairmanship. But anyway,
it just was like random and it literally just showed up.
Toby and Chili in the morning at 97.1 Wash FM
as you drive down 270 or 66. Why are you
feeling good this morning on 95 North Mound? Feel free
(02:13):
to call us at 866-927-4361.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Let us know. Meanwhile, top stories at the top of
the hour on the way. What's going on?
Speaker 4 (02:20):
The University of Maryland could be headed for a legal
fight over the name Terps.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
And you'll find out why in just a few.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Top stories, top of the hour.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
The president has signed a stopgap funding bill keeping the
government open through December 11th. The measure passed the Senate
and House with strong bipartisan support, setting up another year-end
funding fight. At least two people have died after a
shooting at a downtown Minneapolis apartment high-rise. Police say the
suspected shooter has also died. Six others were injured, including
(02:54):
three officers, two of whom were shot. Maryland officials failed
to collect more than $ 818 million in tolls and penalties.
A state audit raises concerns about how the Maryland Transportation
Authority manages the money that it's owed. Nearly 94,000 Virginians
have dropped their Affordable Care Act health insurance over the
(03:15):
past year. The decline comes as rising costs and changes
to federal subsidies increase. make coverage more expensive for so many.
The Kennedy Center removed its towering blue sculpture yesterday, closing
northbound Rock Creek Parkway for the crane work. Now, no
official reason was given, but it comes amid the administration's
broader reshaping of the venue, sparking pushback from arts advocates.
(03:40):
The University of Maryland could be headed for a legal
fight over the name Terps. A cannabis company is using
the name for one of its products, and UMD says
it could violate the university's trademark rights. And finally, Tiger
Woods pleaded guilty yesterday to a reduced reckless driving charge.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
This all stems from his March rollover crash.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
As part of a plea deal, the judge suspended Tiger's
license for five years. Forecast today, partly cloudy with a
chance of more storms. Highs around 95. The heat index
near 105. Right now, 75 in Rockville.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Now you're informed as you get your day started. Thanks
to Toby and Chili's top stories at the top of
the hour, the news. 97.1 Wash FM. Next, how are
you doing? Well, let's pause to talk about you. Your
morning mindset comes from someone that really lived a full.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
American life today.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
And what they have to say might just help you
get through what you're going through. Time now for your
morning mindset at 97.1 Wash FM with Toby and Chili
in the morning. In case you're just joining us for
the first time, what is your morning mindset?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
It's when we find a quote that has spoken to
us and we share it with you in hopes that
it perhaps motivates or inspires you to have a better day.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
This morning comes from George Burns, great comedian. He says,
I'd rather be a failure at something I love than
a success at something I hate.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Think about that.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'd rather be a failure at something I love than
a success at something I hate. You've got to love
that because the truth of the matter is, and you
can insert a cliche about your job or life or
whatever you do for, you know, your life's work here.
There's a million different sayings about if you love what
you do, you never work a day in your life.
(05:32):
But the truth of the matter is, I think that
I can relate to what George Burns is saying, you know,
and maybe you can too. I'd rather fail doing something
I love than being great at something I just can't
stand doing, you know. So apply that to your life today.
(05:53):
And remember, it's all about fulfillment over appearances. You don't
have to chase a promotion. You don't have to chase
a paycheck. Just do what's right for you, and then
think on exactly what you did win. It's 97.1 Wash FM.
We're Toby and Chili in the morning. That is your
morning mindset. You know where to find it. Toby and
Chili page, washfm.com. Go check our Insta stories, Facebook stories,
(06:17):
all that other stuff and more, and you'll see it.
You can share it and let it be known that
it spoke unto you. And stay right there because in
just a few minutes this morning.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
We're going to talk about pre-gaming now that NFL season
is upon us.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Would you rather tailgate or home gate? It'll all make sense.
Stick around.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
In case you live under a rock and you haven't
watched any of the local news, football season is here.
The Commanders fans are getting a little ornery. Ready to
go see some football in person or are they? 97.1
Watch FM. We're Toby and Chili in the morning. In fact,
are people looking forward to going to games and doing
the whole pregame experience? Or are they looking forward to
(06:56):
taking in a football game at home?
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Yeah, well, it looks like more and more people are
preferring home gate rather than the traditional tailgate.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Right.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
And the ideal hangout begins about two and a half
hours before the game. It includes about 11 people with
six different things to eat and six different things to drink.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Hmm.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
For toby home gating chili do you know why everything's
cheaper i have more of it back when i used
to kick the hooch man i could afford the titos
you have to put yourself on a budget when you
go to a ball game and by the way the
national football league has made it very good to stay
home in front of your television and watch not just
(07:45):
one game right but all of the games at the
same time with the red zone.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
I think if you're in a good group of people
for the tailgating experience, nothing can truly top that. Being
in the parking lot with people who do the RV gimmick,
like those are hardcore tailgaters and there is a vibe
you cannot replicate at home. But since I don't know
anybody like that, yeah, I'm home gating too. Like I
don't have people like that in my circle, but if
(08:11):
I had a dude or a friend who did it
that way, heck yeah, I'm coming.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah, like if I had like a tour bus kind
of a situation.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
A friend or somebody who has that whole set up.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah, I would throw in on that because you know what?
Then we'd have facilities and a place to retreat.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Air conditioning, yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Air conditioning, you know, the comforts of home, which is
why I choose to home gate. Others choose to tailgate.
What do you choose? Talk back some things. So tap
speak and send if you're signed into your iHeart app
and let us know what you choose. Home gating or
tailgating or none of the above because you're not a
fan of football. That's okay too. We're Toby and Tilly
(08:48):
in the morning. It is 97.1 Wash FM and minutes
the news. Tough stories at the top of the hour.
What's up today?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Forget January.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
It seems September is becoming the new month for a
fresh start.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I'll explain why in just a few minutes.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Hey there, Wheaton.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
If Georgia Avenue is part of your plan this morning
and your coffee's hot, you're ahead of the game.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
Toby and Chili in the morning.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
It's 97.1 Wash FM and you need to stay with
us if you would love to do some gaming while
you're in Vegas.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
It's our iHeartRadio Music Festival and you can be there
both days this month plus $ 1, 000 spending money. Just listen
right around 9, 10 for the keyword to text and win.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
They are cardigans.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
97.1 WASH-FM, Washington. An iHeartRadio station. Coming up on Top Stories,
top of the hour.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
The president has signed a stopgap bill keeping the federal
government funded through December 11th.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
We've got the latest on that story and others on
the way.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
With Toby and Chili in the morning on 97.1 WASH-FM.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
Top Stories, top.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Of the hour.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
The president has signed a stopgap bill bill keeping the
federal government funded through December 11th. The measure passed both
the Senate and House. The FBI is investigating a reported
data breach that may have exposed millions of U.S. driver's licenses.
The bureau says that it's looking into a dark website
reportedly selling digital scans of licenses. Authorities are investigating after
(10:21):
a Coast Guard airplane carrying Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne
Mullen made an emergency landing at Reagan National after an
engine failure. The plane had reportedly been flagged last year
for being too old to fly. Montgomery County police issued
269 tickets to drivers who illegally passed stop school buses
(10:42):
during the first week of school. Police are warning drivers
to slow down and pay attention with violations caught on
camera carrying a $ 250 fine. Well, starting September 28th, MARC
is launching a new direct train between Montgomery County and Baltimore.
The weekday service will cut travel times by up to
(11:03):
an hour and eliminate the need to transfer. A former
Fairfax County office building with a very recognizable look is
getting a second life as affordable housing. The building, once
nicknamed the Darth Vader Building, is being converted into 273
affordable apartments. And forget January, it seems September is becoming
(11:25):
the new month for a fresh start. The September reset
trend is taking over TikTok, with people using the back
to school feeling to reset their routines, goals, and even
mindset for the rest of the year. Forecast today, partly cloudy, hot, humid,
with a chance of storms again. Highs around 95. That
(11:46):
heat index, though, near 105.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Right now, 75 in Reston.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
And that's the news.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Remember, you get your top stories at the top of
the hour right here at 97.1. Watch FM right around
10 past every hour when you wake up with us.
And coming up in just a few minutes with Toby
and Chili in the morning, we're going to talk with
you about guys who are, well, doing something that nobody
would have thought guys would care about.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
We'll get into it.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
I can't believe we're actually saying this, but guys see
this as being feminine.
Speaker 5 (12:18):
What?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Toby and Chili in the morning. It's 97.1 Wash FM.
What are we talking about? Well, guys, check this.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
A new study finds a lot of men see dieting.
As being too feminine. Even if they secretly hate how
they look in the mirror. And researchers say that appearance
and not health is what actually pushes men to make
a change. You're the guy on the show. So I
know you don't think dieting is too feminine.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
No.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
But I.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I don't even think you secretly sometimes hate the way
you look. You're very open about your insecurity.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
No, there are times when I can't stand the way
I look like kind of right now. Well, no, because
I've been dealing with some injuries. I haven't been able
to be as active as I was. OK. And, you know,
being sedentary is not always the best thing sitting around and.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
You know, I should be out doing more walking and whatnot,
but it hurts.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
But is there something you do to look better that
people may not guess.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
That you really care about? The most wild thing that
I do is this. I will intentionally wear tighter shirts
underneath whatever I have on.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Like a compression, like women wear Spanx, right?
Speaker 5 (13:27):
That's exactly it. It's like Spanx for men.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Oh, nice.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Well, it's not a secret anymore.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
You see me in a white or a dark shirt
like that. That's probably what it is. If I dress
in the uniform and I'm wearing like a white shirt
with a vest on and then a jacket, chances are
good I'm wearing that white to keep all the stuff in.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
All right.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Well, if you're going to make a confession, I will
tell you the same thing. I don't think my friends
would ever guess that I use a spray like a dye,
like a L'Oreal makes a spray to get me through
the in-between appointments for the.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Roots, my grays. Because I don't want my grays to
grow in that much.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
I think a lot of people do that.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Do they also, because I have a little bit of
thinning hair on the crown after menopause, I also have
the fiber spray to kind of fill in that little gap,
a little bit of a gap back there.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
You have a full head of hair.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (14:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
Well, you have nothing to be self-conscious about. It looks great.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Is there something that you do that nobody would have
thought you cared about?
Speaker 5 (14:29):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
All to look better.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Not going to judge. 866-927-4361 is the number. You know
what to do. We'll talk.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
You know the number is 866-927-4361. As you listen this
morning to 97.1 Wash FM, if you want to jump
into any conversation, you are more than welcome to do so.
And right now, we're talking about something that nobody would
know that you do to look better.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
And it could be anything.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
It came up because men, even though they're very insecure
about how they look, They feel like dieting is too feminine.
And they hide the fact that they're trying to look better.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
It's not, people.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
It's not. But dieting is just one part of the equation.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
I think not just men, but that people do in
order to, quote, look better.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
And you know what?
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Hey, if it helps you to work on your own
internal insecurities, why not?
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Hey, maybe we can steal one of your hacks if
you share a good one with us.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
At 866-927-4255.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
4361 so we'll go over to uh over by westmoreland
circle in bethesda jeffrey good morning i.
Speaker 7 (15:40):
Learned that i look better in photos if i angle
myself at 45 degrees to the camera.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Okay well that's good do you have any other tricks
if it's.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
A full length pic i also put one hand in
my pocket That's slimming.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
That's camera trick.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
And also it gives your hand something to do because
hands can look really awkward in a photo.
Speaker 7 (15:58):
It's a little thing, but I feel so much better
looking at photos on myself when I do it.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
And at the end of the day, that's what it's
all about, Jeffrey. How do you feel when you see
that photo? Thanks for jumping in this morning. Denise, Fairfax City,
I understand something bugs you when you take photos.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
My neck.
Speaker 7 (16:18):
I don't know when this became something I cared about,
but apparently I have strong opinions about whether my neck
looks good in pictures.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
Well, that's definitely an insecurity for a lot of folks,
but the secret to that is sort of putting your
face a little bit forward and making sure the camera
is a little bit higher to hide said neck.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
The photographers would tell you to lead with your chin,
lead with your chin, lead with the chin, but be subtle.
Pulls it out, stretches it, you know, spreads out the thing.
But we love you just the way you are.
Speaker 5 (16:48):
That's right. We do. 97.1 Wash FM. Kissing up? Absolutely.
Hang out.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Top stories at the top of the hour right around
710 this morning.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
Chili, what are you working on?
Speaker 4 (16:59):
DC is leaning into a new nickname to attract more tourists.
I'll share what that is.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Coming up in just a few minutes.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
Ed Sheeran's going to be in Philly at The Link.

Thanks for listening to us in Tysons. It's Madonna and

do with prayer at all.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
97.1 WASH FM, Washington. an iHeartRadio station. Coming up on

and they're expected to open late this year.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
D.C.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Is leaning into its sports capital nickname. It's an effort
to attract more tourists. City officials are promoting the district's
major teams and sporting events as a way to bring
more visitors and more tourism dollars to the city. A
new $ 1 coin featuring the president's face went on sale
yesterday from the U.S. Mint, pairing his image as heads
(19:00):
and the great seal as tails. It's drawn criticism since
federal law bars living presidents on currency, although the Treasury
can authorize exceptions. Now, if you are a pet owner,
you may be putting your furry friend ahead of your
travel plans. A new survey finds that 7 in 10
pet owners limit their trips because of their pets, and
(19:22):
nearly half of them feel guilty leaving their pets behind.
Forecast for today, partly cloudy, hot, humid. Chance of a

Speaker 5 (20:52):

the question.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
For the tickets to see Ed Sheeran at the Link
in Philly, what's your guess?
Speaker 4 (21:00):
Is it milk?
Speaker 3 (21:01):
It is not milk, but okay, you've helped with another clue.
It is a beverage.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
A beverage, but no leche.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
But thank you. Try again tomorrow, okay?
Speaker 4 (21:12):
Will do.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
All right, thanks. Thank you, sir. And what is your name?
Where would you be from this morning?
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Hi, this is Connie Lee from Fairfax, Virginia.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
Hey there, welcome. What's your guess?
Speaker 3 (21:22):
My guess is, I said, iced tea, sweet tea. Ooh,
it is a beverage.
Speaker 4 (21:28):
I know that's another good beverage guess, but no.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
It is not the right answer.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
Oh, no.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
But now you're making me want some Zero Sugar Turkey
Hill iced tea.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
Yes, yes.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Okay, well, thank you.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
Thank you. Try again manana, okay?
Speaker 4 (21:45):
All right.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
And who is this? Where are you from?
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Hey, what's going on, you guys?
Speaker 5 (21:50):
It's Chris calling from Manassas Park.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
All right, Chris, you got the question for the tickets
Ed Sheeran in Philly at the link. Your guess is?
Speaker 5 (21:58):
I'm going to go with some alcohol.
Speaker 7 (22:01):
Oh!
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Oh! What is your alcoholic beverage of choice?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
I'm an old-fashioned kind of guy.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
He was saying it's old-fashioned and old-fashioned. I was like,
so what's the old-fashioned drink?
Speaker 3 (22:12):
No.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Old-fashioned.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
I know exactly where his head was at. I'm personally
a screwdriver guy myself. 75% vodka and then a splash
of OJ, but that's probably part of the problem.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
Right.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Just a splash.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Just a splash.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
It turns out 37% of people buy alcohol on a
weekly basis, which means, Chris.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
You win. Congrats.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Road trip up 95 in your future. Ed Sheeran at
The Link. Thanks to AEG. Tickets are yours.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Beautiful.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Drive safely and enjoy. From what station?
Speaker 3 (22:47):
97.1 Wash FM.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
And we've got more tickets. Ed Sheeran at the Lincoln
Philly tomorrow. Be here right after 710, right after Top
Stories at the top of the hour to play and
win with 97.1 Wash FM. Stay with Toby and Tilly
in the morning because.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Coming up next, we're going to talk about pheromone maxing.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
It's something that dudes are doing to attract women.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
Wait till you smell that.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Ladies and gentlemen, we just report these things so that
we can all learn something together, even if it makes
us scratch our heads. We're Toby and Chili in the
morning at 97.1 Wash FM, where we're reading this morning
about this new trend of not taking a shower before
you go out on a date.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Yeah, it's called pheromone maxing. And men are not using deodorant.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
They're not showering intentionally because they think that the musk,
what is that called? The natural musk? will make them
biologically irresistible to women.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
No, that's called the funk. The funk of 40,000 years,
like to paraphrase Michael Jackson's thriller.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
Oh, goodness. No, seriously, that's just gross.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
I take it you wouldn't, this is not your jam.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
No.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
If I'm going to match.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
With somebody on a dating app and then we're going
to go out on a first date, what is that saying?
And I don't typically believe you never get a second
chance to make your first impression. But common sense is
a thing. Don't go rolling up on somebody for the
first time smelling like you just jumped out.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
Of a dumpster.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
I don't even know that you do it when you're
in an established relationship either because not everybody receives that
kind of smell very well. Yeah, no. I will say, though,
there is something to this because I had a girlfriend
who loved the way her boyfriend smelled after a day
at work and he worked in construction. And she would
nuzzle up to him after he'd come home. It was
just something about that. So it's not total poo-poo.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
There is something.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
No pun intended. I know.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
I just don't think it's the majority of people. And
my line is the deodorant, right? Like.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Can you at least wear deodorant, please?
Speaker 2 (24:51):
I'm just having a hard time getting the visual of
your friend, you know, nuzzling up, putting her nose up
in the dude's armpit.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Dude's like a woman after a workout, too. This goes
both ways.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Guys like the way a woman smells after she works out.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
My significant other runs Ironman competitions and marathons like it's nothing.
The first thing she does when she comes home on
a Saturday, Sunday morning after doing that run is she
goes like directly to the shower.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
And even if she didn't do that, you're not a
fan of that stinky smell.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
No, not at all.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
So what do you think about all of this, this
new trend, this pheromone maxing? Tell us more after you
read what you want to know on the Toby and
Chili page at WashFM.com. And by the way, you can

York City, surrounded by some of the many who loved her,
but no cause of death was given. Well, the president
has signed a stopgap bill keeping the federal government funded

Teachers getting new guidelines on using artificial intelligence in the classroom.

should not be used, should be limited or is appropriate
with human review. A new Netflix documentary, Instadox, the decoy
plane will drop tomorrow and reveals how the president was
(27:55):
secretly moved in a catering truck onto a smaller jet
during a trip to Turkey this summer amid security concerns
about Iran. And forget the old rule about wearing white
after Labor Day. A new survey finds 54% of women
still wear white after the holiday. And 43% say they
never really put away their summer clothes. They just work
(28:16):
them into their fall wardrobe. Forecast today, partly cloudy skies, hot, humid,
a chance of storms. Highs around 95, but that heat

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Now, before we leave, we want to leave you with
a quote for you to think about for.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Your morning mindset.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
George Burns said, I'd rather be a failure at something
I love than a success at something I hate. And
maybe that matters to us because we spend a lot
of our lives chasing what we think success is supposed
to look like.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
A title, money, approval. But listen.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Do you really want to deal with all of that?
Do you hate waking up to the life that came
with it?
Speaker 7 (32:38):
Really?
Speaker 5 (32:39):
Is that success? No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Today, give yourself the grace and the energy to.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Do what it is that makes you feel alive, even
if you're not great at it yet. Have an amazing day.
We'll talk to you tomorrow.
