Katie in Alexandria and the Dating Contract

Katie thought she was heading out for a normal night—dinner, conversation, maybe a spark. But her date had other plans... including a contract and a wildly unexpected comment about her body.

It's Toby and Kelly's crazy first day.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, Kate and Alexandria. We hear you have a
crazy first date for us. The floor is, they say,
is yours.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
I was in Whole Foods once and I was approached
just out of the blue by the sky and he
came up to me and he said to me, work word,
you look like you have great hips for breeding.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
And I said, you know, excuse me, that's not the best.
You know, first line to open up to somebody. Yeah,
So I just went in too. You know. See, this
guy had to say. I go out to lunch with
him and he presents me with this document. I think
it was twelve pages long, and it literally asked me
my blood type, how many children I wanted? I asked
my criminal history, my work history, my family history, and

he told me I was not allowed to work. He
was a doctor. I was to run his businesses. And
it's like a document tell me what I could do,
what I could not do. He went in I think
five kids. But he was concerned because I was a
little bit too old. So we need to get to
work right away, I think, because I think I was
thirty four or thirty five, the time. It was so bizarre,

so bizarre, useless to say I'd knock out with him again.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
This is insane on so many different levels.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
He made his intentions clear. He wanted to pro create somebody,
but to show up with documents. Kate, in that moment,
what did you say?

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I told him, listen, you're a little intense, I said.
I said, this is a huge turn off for people.
I'm very open, and I told him, I said, you're
not going to find what you want. This is not
the right approach to most people.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
What did he say to that very sound advice?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Oh no, he was very very confident that you know,
I'm a doctor. I just know what i want. I'm
going to get what I want, and I you know,
I wish you well. We just leve it at that
and I have never talked to him again.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
That's crazy, crazy on an order of crazy we haven't
had in some time.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
