Speaker 1 (00:07):
Welcome to Off the Edge of the Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Just another beautiful day with another great player, talk about
a little bit of football. We talk about a guy
who's been All Pro Pro bowler, Fred Warner. With the
resume you've had over the Niners, I mean, you're headed
towards legendary. Considering the injury that you had this year,
you still were had a push to make it to
the playoffs. Saw I saw clips of you out there
(00:30):
coming downhill. I said, well, I said, maybe some people
just have wolverine. But that's exactly right, that's exactly right. Yeah,
it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, four time pro bowler and a Hall Pro.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
I mean, what was the difference in terms of your
rehab that you made a push to make it back
to the game.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Well, the crazy part is right is and I've talked
about it, is when you break your ankle in half
and you have your foot faith in the wrong way.
The trainers aren't immediately and the doctors aren't immediately coming
up to you like hey, let's see how fast we
can get you back right. The conversation is like brom
ever going to play football again? That was the conversation.
So you know, as you know, they did the surgery
in October.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
It was like it was like August. Training was only
a couple months ago. This all occurred, right.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
So we get the surgery done and then you have
six weeks non way bearing on a scooter.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
You don't change that.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
And then you get to get get going and being
back on your feet and get into your rehab process.
And as I'm getting back going doing rehab, they're like, oh, shoot,
like this guy's moving pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
He's progressing quick. And then they my head training came
to me.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
He's like, hey, Fred, are you mentally prepared to go
and try and get ready.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
For the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
We'll have to alter your rehab a little bit to
expipedite the process to get you there, but are you
mentally ready for that? And I was like, absolutely, I'm
mentally ready.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Man, let's go. We got a chance to go win
a Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
We were in that week seventeen Week eighteen game against Seattle,
had a chance to get the one seed and I'm like, bro,
imagine we would have got that and had two playoff
games ultimately play in our home stadium for Super Bowl.
I was like, I can't pass that up. So you know,
unfortunately it didn't happen. But the fact that I was
out there on that practice field in January back on
my teammates was in itself.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
So yeah, absolutely wild bro like borderline legendary. Had y'all
made it to this ship you have been in? It
was crazy, you know. But like, of course your team
missed you, miss Nick Bosa, miss miss George Kittle. You know, guys,
just going down left and right for you guys, And
sometimes that key to victory is health.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
That's right, health as well, right, healthy as wealthy. I know,
I know, you know.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
You say, why were the Seahawks able to beat the
forty nine ers in the last two matchups of the season.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
You're missing Yeah, you're missing me.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
We will we won't We won against them when we
won when like them, I was and me and bos
who was out there? So you miss it? You missing
your key guys. The Seahawks are loaded. They got a
lot of good players, right, and so when you don't
have your guys out there, it's hard to compete against
the best. But yeah, man, I'm looking forward to just
getting back healthy, getting our team back healthy, and just
finding a way to stick because the times we've been
(02:52):
healthy here the forty nine ers.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
What has happened we've been in that, We've been in
that game. So we've been to super Bowls. Well, we
got to.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Find a way not only to make it there, but
to clim the mountain top to be that one horse
at the peak.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yes, right, I mean So, so who has a better defense?
Patriots or Seahawks. I mean, I think it's understood amongst everyone.
I mean, Christian over there, that's not down talking down.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
A defense is a great defense that the Patriots have,
but I think it's on it's unfortunately a better defense
that Seattle.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
On paper, you say, number one scoring defense in Seattle. Yeah,
on paper, they got the guys.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
But even more than that, it's on tape when you
watch them, the way that they play. And I say
all this to and letting everybody know that I still
despise this team, Like this is okay, there's bad blood,
there's bad blood there, but you got but as a
ball knower and a guy who's who's done it at
the highest level, you understand what good ball is supposed
to look like.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
And the greatest compliment I can say about their.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Defense is that they look like our defense in a
way that they play.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
They look like you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Like Mike McDonald, the fact he's able to do this
and create that type of standard, that type of culture,
only in his second season doing this is extremely impressive.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Well listen, it is what it is. Man.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Their success has nothing to do about what our success
is going to be going for. You get injured, Do
you need to get more time with the family?
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, time. Look, I know that you're married. You guys, right,
he got two kids. I was like a new born,
a newborn daughter and my son one for sure. Right,
how many you gotta get? I got four? I gotta
I got a small trime, you know, Yeah you do.
I got one boy, three girls. So you got a
boy and girl.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Now a boy and a girl. Stop stop now you
might as well now boy girls like I'm gonna finding
my son a brother for a girl this girl. Dad
life is different. Yeah, no, I can't wait for it, though.
I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
You saw you saw you saw them clips with with
Stafford and his fols yesterday.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Man, bring it bring it here to mind. I saw him.
I say, I'm good for you, and I'm sick for
four to pay for four weddings? Yeah, I got to
introduce full money to my family. Boy, I think of
it like that. I'm not no, I'm not anything, none
of it. He's not wrong. My baby girls coming to
everything's giving like this guy.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Know man, like you, yeah, you know imagine that though,
imagine they bring somebody home to you love. You're like,
why aren't you married yet? You know what I'm saying,
like you, we gotta lock this guy down, Honey, I'm
telling my nine year old now, I's like, officially go
to your boyfriend. Blow daddy a kissed. When you start kissing,
I don't know if I want that kiss on the cheek. No,
I know, man, it's tough.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
It's tough. I don't even want to think about none
of that. My daughter a month old, I ain't think
about nothing but the moments he happened. You thought about it,
I said, day one, I said, oh man, it's great
one day because I'm looking at.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
My at my beautiful my beautiful wife. I'm like, I'm like,
one day this will be my daughter.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
I'm not ready, I know it. Are the things that
you don't know about baby girls that you know, boys
are easy. You give my toy, they wreck it. They
easy and they're reckless.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Mine's reckless, right He's running around beating people love. He
wants to slap head, do all the type of things.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
They just want to fight.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, bro, it's bad right now. The Terrible twos that
started early. No, yeah, I don't even believe in terrible twos.
It's that three, That's what I keep hearing. That's scary
because toos is already already his vocabulary is not in
deft enough. Vocaba is limited when they get an opinion.
Three trouble right now? Two is just no. No, Three
is no because I told you no. We hey, three,
(06:12):
have you come up with here?
Speaker 1 (06:17):
So tell me who you're with? You know what you
pushing today?
Speaker 6 (06:19):
Yeah? Man, we hear ea.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Sports just just yeah, it's in the game.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
Uh ea.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Sports. Everybody loves Madden.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Everybody loves all VA's sports sports games. I remember growing
up playing Madden, of course, it was it was a
dream of mine to of course be on the game.
You always created your player at ninety nine, everything being
on the game. And then when I finally was on
the game drafted in eighteen, I'm like a sixty eight
overall and I'm like, this isn't what I dreamt of.
It to be, but you work your grind. No, now
I'm at like a ninety eight, I'm one. I'm probably
(06:46):
a ninety seven. Ninety eight went away from me in
that ninety I.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Never go to ninety nine like I've gotten to like
ninety seven or ninety eight.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Real, Yeah, what else I gotta do? What else do
I have to do?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
I need to get another five six pick sixes in order,
that's what. So next year I'll get the five or
six pick sixes and they'll give it to me.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Indeed. Yeah, what are you What are you looking forward to?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Because you're clearly healthy, that's right, goll So what are
you looking forward to this off season? An?
Speaker 1 (07:10):
We ain't got nothing ju lined up you? We want
to get the schedule.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, we're getting the sushi going for white people, getting
you know, the wine tasting maybe for white feet, doing
all these little things, right, we got we got Valentine's
Day coming up.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
H I think that's about a week away.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
So celebrate man made holidays. Oh Jesus his birthday. You
know what I'm saying, Thanks, because I.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Want to eat. But I'm so against something nice for
your wife.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
The best daily I believe, I believe it every day
being Valentine's You don't get me with.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
You, he is coming up.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I already brought you flowers because it's Tuesday, that's exactly.
I got you a little necklace because I've seen that
thing on t move Amazon. You know what I say,
Start taking note. You know what I'm saying, trying to
get to what's the brand of love?
Speaker 1 (07:49):
You know what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm right there with you, brother.
Like my wife don't even like chocolate. Ain't got a word.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
I eat her chocolate. Her parents did her, my parents. Wait,
I'm just saying, wait, my dad. My dad sends, you know,
flowers and chocolate, like, hey, you gotta god take your wife.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I eat the chocolate.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, okay, you're a little little heart lit whatever that is. Yeah,
a little chocolate rose.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
A yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think. Hey, yeah, this
has been a great segment.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
My life is a beautiful chocolate song. So I wouldn't
take it for me, and that's right. Yeah, yeah, I
appreciate you, absolutely, Thank you, brother. Get you out of
there though, of course appreciate it. We'll be right back.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Here we are media row Super Bowl sixty in the
Bay Area, and.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I got my guy, Kyle Van Noyd. You know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
I mean twelve years and in the year thirteen, free agent
coming up.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
Yeah, we're me and you are fighting for jobs. We're
like friendemies.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Right, we can also just play left and right. Yeah,
I started. I started dropping this last year.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I said, look at me, I look like a realized
online backer crow Bowler.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Hey, your stance he was ready.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
You know when you're uncomfortable and you're like, I'm not,
y'all got to open up, make it look the same.
Speaker 7 (09:05):
But I really got to cover. I'm not covered to like,
I'm not gonna just come in to flat anymore. I
was relating to Chase Stay. Had you working down there
like it? I like it strike straight and then when
you get empty, you gotta get that switch.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Hey, I'm over looking.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
But when I tell you dropping a like knowing you
have to drop and then beating play action bo, that's
a mental shift, it is. I mean, you're watching a
quarterback almost handed off to the to the running back.
So now I'm playing run outside leverage and then my
tight end run sort of run runs so either a
seamoor to the flat, and you're telling me that's.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
My guy, But I was I'm a run stopper.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Fair That's that's tough. So how do you switch that
mental switch?
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Honestly I was.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
I was super blessed cam where I struggled earlier in
my career because they tried to I played off the
or on the ball in college, and then in the
pros they switched off. They switched me to off the ball,
so I never played off the ball. Had to learn,
and so as I've gone wiser in the NFL, it's
(10:06):
it's a lot easier because I understand concepts and no
ball a little bit better from learning off the ball drops.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Well, I'm not gonna lie to you. I thought I
knew concepts is different when you're you're you're having to oh, yeah,
this is dreg This is just a drunk concept.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
You know.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's God wants the struggle as a bee lineman. I
have let those words pass by years. Hey, who do
I got?
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Really came to me?
Speaker 7 (10:29):
That used to be my minimal dropping experience and you
just want to hear one, two, Yeah, that's it. Or
on the worst case, like hey, just check the three.
Take the running back every.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Time, every time, every time, unless it's one of them
fast and then you.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Just give them cushions. Now, I'm for playing me inside out.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Got it?
Speaker 4 (10:49):
You're dropping like twenty yards letting them check and check down,
so you get it crossed up.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
That's funny.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yeah, you know the things that you learned and by
in season. I'm like, yeah, you know what it is,
Bejon and I still like me.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, I like that. I love me in most instances,
but I like me. I don't love me anymore.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
But I mean, you know, last time Patrick's made a
Super Bowl, you playing on the field.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yes, sir. How's it?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
How's it feel about the Patriots? You know, did you
think they'd be as back as fast?
Speaker 6 (11:18):
No?
Speaker 4 (11:18):
I didn't, but I did think Drake May was very,
very good. You could see that he was raw. I
still think he's raw, has a long ways to go.
I really saw a lot of flashes. But I think
a big part and a big reason why they've been
so good in these playoffs, it really starts with Milton Williams.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
That dude has.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Been I think throughout the whole playoffs, he's been the MVP.
He's played at that type of level. He's been so dominant, right,
and him and Christian Barmore feeding off each other, those
two Christian.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Barmore is this is just like the subtle difference maker
that I.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Mean, those two are balling, and so you know, having
that and having great x's and o's with the coaching
has helped the Patriots, and you know they squeezed out
some tough wins. But happy they're back in there. Happy
for the Craft family. They were very good to me
and my family when we're there, so you know, just
shout out to them being able to bring in and
(12:18):
make the changes to then eventually get back here. You
got to give them props for that.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
The last time pictures are there, you know, you guys
were in depthicit it was twenty eight to three.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
You know, Falcons over the Patriots.
Speaker 6 (12:30):
Crazy at the end of the book.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Not even the second half, like the third quarter era.
Everybody had written you off. It was crazy, you know.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
The Falcons fans somehow, some way knew that they were
going to win. I guess what they don't do so.
Speaker 6 (12:42):
The owner to get on the side.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
I love that, love it.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
It was like stupid, they don't know how to rise up,
and sure enough they fell down.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
So what's crazy? Canons?
Speaker 4 (12:54):
They loaded the cannons on the sideline with black and
red confetti.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Because you got out of hands like liter League game,
turn off the scoreboard, yo, no, no, not turning it out.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
We saw them like empty, like empty it during overtime
like when we're drive and they were empty in the
cannons and putting our confetti in there. So that was
a That was a dope. I have some family members
that took pictures of when it was loaded with fire,
the black and red. That's great. Sorry Falcon fans, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Sorry, but I'm not sorry either. I loved it.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yeah, you know the say Saints Nation, we got a
Super Bowl. I don't think the Falcons do love that
for us? Uh preferred destination for free agency?
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Oh okay, we gotta go back and forth.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah absolutely, I mean I would never want to leave,
you know, that's that's easy for me.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Fifteen year the same place. You shn't make me leave
until unless you make me leave.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
You wearing gold because you're getting gold pretty soon. Yeah, yeah,
you know you deserve a gold. By the way, I
appreciate that. For those that are watching, I'm gonna hype
my man up real quick. Cam was one of my
players when I was in the NFL that I felt
never got the attention he deserved or the recognition of
(14:10):
how good he was because everyone all they care about sacks.
Cam always had sacks. We never had like the most amount.
But where Cam was different than everybody else's he played
the run just as well and just his elite as
he played the pass. And I think sometimes pass rushers
are two one dimensional now where they just get sacks
(14:32):
and they don't you know, and if you run at him,
the edge is just it's a gas.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
But Cam set the edge on Saturday before he even played,
and I always respected that.
Speaker 6 (14:43):
So yeah, I wanted to tell you that.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
I appreciate that. I appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Oh, I mean, he's fluster now.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
I I came in as.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Sorry, But to your point, I'm the same way. I
would love to stay with the Ravens free agency, but
if you have to leave, I've played for different teams
that if I have to leave, I gotta go where.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
You look at the landscape where they need an edge.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
G yeah, where they need rush. I'm in the position
now where I just want to rush. I want to
go with a three tech losing nomdi this year was
like super super.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
You see Dallas Cowboys got Quinn Williams and Kenny Clark
in the middle.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
There you go, maybe just Ja Davion on the edge
with the young.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
Had a great year absolut yeah. So yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
But the young gun over there, the rookie they had,
I can't think of his name.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
I think it's forty one. He's he's coming.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
So I'm just looking for somebody to, you know, want
to date me.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
That's all. I want to be loved Valentine. He is
coming up. What kind of coaches the Giants getting in
John Harbo.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
They're getting They're getting somebody that's going to bring consistency
every single day. He's bringing that his hard work had
on especially being in that blue collar New York city
where they haven't had that consistency that they've wanted. I
think he's bringing consistency.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Yeah, I mean that that's key. But and you know
he's got fire in him, like he can he can
bring those the fires.
Speaker 6 (16:14):
Gonna bring the Jews.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Some of these new coaches they don't have that.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
You know, they're very analytical in mindset and they're very hey,
this is how we win, this is how we lose. Hey,
this hap Sometimes you go like, look, mother, you need you.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Need the league.
Speaker 7 (16:28):
He's definitely got Even if you feel the rivers that
thing I need to fettle energy.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
I feel that, hey, we need to get our started going.
We need a past start here. You're your tone setter
as a head coach.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
And he's a tone setter for sure. I think he's
gonna bring that great energy, like you said, and good
luck to them during fall camp.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Right, that is hard.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
He's gonna get rid, he's gonna get super real. I
think those are the hardest training camps I've ever had.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
You should have seen Sean Payton in his prime. We
were doing CrossFit conditioning tests.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
I've heard about that.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Bro.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
We ended some guys careers like, you know, like I
can't do this no more. You walk off the field
and not.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Look bad bad. I bet yeah. I was in New
England too. Those were Belichick. You know, we're hard.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
We have some we have some cross camps with the
Patriots and we got excited because it was like.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Oh like because it was like better it was better
practice because they.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
Weren't as hard.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
We're in the we're in the Northeast where it's like
sixty sixty five seventy five degrees during the summer. I'm
already excited, so now it doesn't matter how many how
many rests we're doing.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
I was like, no, no, this is this is the
what pace we're going to do it at. And they're
telling us like, no, we're going three quarters. Oh you
meant three quarters. Yeah, we say because we think you
say three quarters, we're going full speed. This either all
or nothing, but the same way.
Speaker 6 (17:48):
I like that, you know, conditioned.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
It was like, we're going to run this hill on
the Patriots side. That's it with them. We love that,
you know, we always became instant friends. I was like,
I don't even feel animosity. We're happy, go lucky. No,
there is there a conditioning test that you vividly remember
that sort of sort of hurt lean or made it different.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
The Miami one because it was so hot you got
it outside. It was like three three hundred, twenty five turns,
twenty ties.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Ooh, the twenty five turns hurt a little bit.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Yeah, so them hammy started getting tight.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Yeah, because you really really hope for the fifty turns
and if you're blessed, this is like the seventy five turn.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Yeah, the fifty ones are pretty easy, but that those
twenty fives, those turns, oh bro, And it was hot
as head.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Big boys can't do it.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
They like, I was shocked to Like when I was done,
I was gassed.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
I was like a timeout. I need the ivy man.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I mean, bro, we had one probably like twenty fourteen
or twenty fifteen. We brought CrossFit guys in to show
U quote unquote how to do it. We did like
ten power cleans. It was like fifteen burpies, twenty ball squads.
Then we ran a forty yard ladder. You do that
continuency four times?
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Four times?
Speaker 6 (19:01):
Did anybody not make it?
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Absolutely? There was a smool guys.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
It was like if you didn't get to serve some time,
there was like a repercussion of a conditioning test.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
To the next day or something like that.
Speaker 6 (19:10):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
And I was like, Brom's the linemen are not making that.
They're not built for this. And I think they only
had to like a twenty yard ladder. I was like,
it was like no, they meant to pushway at short intervals.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
And these guys came in and I was like, you
saw what was always impressive though, when when it came
down to it, most of the big guys make it
where you're like, where you see, ye, I ain't no
way he's going to get it.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
You look at it in the standard test, you're like,
these guys are making it, and then for the most part,
eighty percent of them do.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
And you know that, you know the two or.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Three fab I mean the ones that bellies clearly, the thighs, yes,
whatever you say, presently loved by Jesus and the meal tables.
You knew they were making it off ripe and sometimes
like they surprise you like and you start rooting for them.
But it's it's those it's those, it's those times that
make you really understand that even though they're officer in
(20:01):
the lineman and may not be like athletic as a
D lineman or a linebacker or any other position, really
there's still top one percent of athletes in the world.
Speaker 7 (20:10):
Yes, facts like if you if you like nowhere or
other than Japan and D sumo wrestlers, are you going
to find a man this big, this stout and can
move like this?
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Yeah, I think O linemen are very very I don't
want to say.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Athletic, butcuriously athletic.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Yeah, I've been seeing your rounds.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Absolutely, and now they now they got their own war award, right,
you got you was.
Speaker 6 (20:39):

Speaker 1 (20:40):
I know.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
It show to a teammate of mine. I do believe
he's a Hall of Famer. I think he's had one
of the most successful careers of our generation. And when
it comes to past protector and to finally get some shine.
Speaker 6 (20:55):
Get an award.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I called it a participation trophy, and I say, you
know what, rushers too, Let's get our own rushers because.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
It's really different.
Speaker 6 (21:06):
Everybody get one.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Again, who's going to become a participation at this point?
Let the Protectors have it so it doesn't become a
participation trophy.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
I think they just need their they get.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Good for you because in their game and their in
their entire careers, if we hear their name, it's a
negative connotation ninety nine percent of the.
