be comfy, and they did not disappoint.

Yeah, it's been very exciting.

We just a few minutes ago ran into Billy's Nimus,
which is.

Kirk Herbstreet's dog.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Billy is like the only person in the United States
that does not like Kirk Herbstreet's dog. He was at
the NFL Network set right next to us, and he
got his own chair, which for a lot of this trip, Billy.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Has not even gotten his own chair.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
What did you think about getting to see Kirk kurb
Street's dog right out.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Close about as I expected, just running around without a leash.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
No, not a care in the world but that. But
that's good though a dog is free and out in
the public.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
I want a little bit more control of that dog.
But he got into the chair and I had to roll.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
My eyes a little bit. Guy, Well, I saw Kirk
is actually pushing him around in a wagon now, so
he's not on foot. Kurt has like a well he
ran away. Yeah, did you see that? There was why
Kirk carbon Street's dog.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
It was a runaway and I think people were getting
very nervous because you do not want to be the
person who injures kirkrby Street's dog, because I think Billy
would have been the number one suspect.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
I definitely probably would have. I loved dogs, though, but
that thing gets pampered more than I.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
So nice, nice quarters up here you're going with the
brown shirt under.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I look at where'd you get that?

By the way, Johnson and Murphy, Oh that's a good
that is a good brand.

Steve Madam shoes too.

I mean, we're.

So we are just three days away from the super Bowl.
The energy really amps up on Thursday. There are a
lot of there's a lot of parties tonight. I heard
the tight Ends party is tonight. We are not invited
to the tight Ends party. I saw one of our
friends at DraftKings and I was like, she was like, oh,

going to the tight Ends party. And I was like, man,
sounds like that'd be fun. Who wouldn't love to go
to the tight Ends party? Kind of hoping, well, yeah,
let's not give up. In fifth grade, I was tight
End for the West Broadway by Cats. I have photo proved.
I'm mostly blocked.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Zero touchdowns, don't remember catch, but I do have tight
End on my resume. If I need to bring that
to the events to night to get in yes.

And actually, Tony Gonzales I think was just here a
couple of minutes ago, one of the best tight Ends
of all time.

It Titan's guy. I'm gonna try not to fan out,
but I remember when they started that podcast. I'm one
of their first followers, so yes, very excited. You were
one of the first. I remember remember when they first
even came up with the concept of the bus. So
I've been keeping up with them that long. Oh well,
don't don't embarrass oh oh, but I am very excited.
They seem like great guys. Hope that wholes up Farm

Drew could get on from across the country acting like

At first I thought it was just haha, a funny bit.
But then some of the people working with the NFL
over here. One of them he called me Jeff Saturday,
and we thought it was a he was talking about
a reference from earlier. He just came up with that
on his own, like I'm getting it from people that
are part of the league, thinking of Jeff Saturday.

I was just to tell you how well you're known
in the NFL the NFL world.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
If they're calling you Jeff Saturday too, what do you
think it is?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I mean, is it the salt and pepper and the beard.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
It's the beard, It's everything beard. I mean, it's the beard.

It's not the Yes, I promise you it's not the
muscles eyes.

Jeff Saturday lost a bunch of weight when he stopped
playing football.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Game we met, so yeah, around two forty to fifty.

I think all of those things.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And even though he's not he wears a hat most
of the time now, similar hair as well, Billy, so.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
I can see it a little curly on Jeff. So
maybe Drew get some curls I didn't. You can get
on at least one show as Jeff's Addams.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I'm then for the bid I don't love the idea
of wearing cold skier but anything for our cover zero
fund here the Seahawks and Patriots three days away.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I've started to see the fans descend here for Seahawks
and Patriots, I feel like kind of an even split
so far. But if you're a Seattle fan, you're a
lot closer. So I wonder if as we get closer,
you'll see even more Seattle fans because right now I
think in the city walking around it's about fifty to fifty.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, they'll get here at the twelves. As we know
that to be we learned about the Joe. I expect
good crowds from both. I think Seattle have the edge
just because geography, but both passionate fan bases that have
been here before and kind of wanting to restart some
dynasties this weekend.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
And a former Patriot, Joe Milton, is also going to
be joining the show today. Joe Milton played at Tennessee.
I am going to try to throw him off because
I am of the opinion that Rocky Top, which Tennessee
fans they hold deer.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
They're like Rocket Top. We love it.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I'm gonna say that the players all hate it, so
I'm gonna go ahead and give you a little hand
of what I'm gonna do with Joe Million. I'm going
to ask him to sing Rocky Top and we will
see if he'll be able to do it.

Okay, he was only you know, he started at Michigan.
He wasn't there very long. He's kind of like a
one of the portal guys that bounce, but he was
there for what a year he was?

Yeah, he had a heck of it all.

I would say Joe Milton's got one of the strongest arms,
maybe in all of football.

I think he can throw it like look over the
he's got a cannon.

But I'd say most athletes know their fight song before
the transfer portal era nowadays, I mean, you're going from
school to school, you probably don't learn it.

Do you know, I mean we're Kentucky fans. Do you know, well,
when you went to Western, Yeah, Kentucky. Do you know
the West Years.

the rest.

I'm excited to see Bryce Young's height visa the US
because everybody always talks about him being a short quarterback.

But I wonder if that's actually true in person.

That I want to see that. And we kind of
unintentionally became Panthers supporters throughout the year. Honestly, if there
were a team we talked about the most, you know,
I'd say there is.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I think there's If you had bet in the preseason
NFL cover zero season one, what is going to be
the team they talk about the most. I think you
would have gotten pretty good money on the Panthers because
I think we did talk more Panthers than almost anything.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
In podcast Mike than turning it around. Uh, they came
up so much. Would be good to have Bryce's uh,
to put a little cherry on top of the season here.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
At super Bowl and then so we're gonna have all
of those folks and then we'll we will check in
after that. Some of these interviews there's been spaced out
over a period of time, so they'll be uh, there'll
be little gaps. Do you have a lean right now
that on the actual Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I think the Seahawks are gonna get it done. But
if you want to talk about the four and a
half points, I worry as it moved.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I wondered if it maybe it was going to go
up to five and a half or even six.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Has not. Patriots need to get the run going a
little bit. I think we're gonna have a close game,
but I just think Seattle's too balanced. I mean that
defense is great, and then of course the offense mean
all about him with Jackson Smith and Jigg, I think they
get it done, but I don't think we're gonna have
any kind of blowout. I think Patriots are gonna be
in it.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
What do you make of Tom Brady, the owner of
the Raiders, saying he has no preference in the Super
Bowl even though he played for the Patriots and won,
played an eight and won six. First of all, you
believe him, And secondly, if we take him at face value,
is that okay to have no preference in.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
The Super Bowl? This would crush me as a Boston fan,
Like my goat, my idol is sitting there basically saying
he doesn't care about me.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
It is a little bit like, Okay, yes we had
good memories, but I'm now I've met a new person
in Vegas and she has caught my eye, and where
I'm going to act like I don't care?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
I mean, so first of all, let's start with that.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Do you do you do you believe?

Speaker 3 (09:36):
I mean, you do believe that he doesn't care.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
It's all out there about it, a little falling out
with Bill doesn't have much relationship with Craft. I'm sure
he's friends with Gronk and those guys. But I kind
of believe him. I kind of take him with what
he's saying here, which way in my heart if I
was a Pats fan. No, that's the political answer he's giving.
As a broadcaster and a part owner. Now he won
six Super Bowls there of course he wants to face
so you.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Think so you think he's doing it because, uh, he
believes that broadcasters shouldn't.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Correct rooting for teams, especially as a broadcaster.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yeah, we're a part No, NBC is calling this one,
so he doesn't have to call correct.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
So I I just I think that's crazy. It's like
politicians talking.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
To Okay, so let's let's they'll give him the benefit
of out. And let's say that he does doesn't.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Care who wins.

You're a Patriots fan, how much does that stab you
in the soul.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Let's let's use an example of your own life thank
of your favorite team. Think if your favorite player that
you grew up watching, Okay, they probably had a lot
of success, and then imagine one day you're like, yeah,
I don't really care either way if they're any good.
I mean that would suck it. Fans invested so much
you and you can't even be like, yeah, I hope
they win a Super Bowl over Seattle.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
I was just over there a minute ago and I
saw Donovan McNabb and he said fly Eagle Fly to
just some random person. And I think that's what people want.
They want to think that Donovan McNabb is walking around
telling strangers fly Eagle Fly. They don't want to think that.
They say, who's paying Philadelphia who?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
We talked about it yesterday with Stevie Johnson just coming
here rocking Bill's gears.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
And he talks Bills off.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
People love that camaraderie with their former players, and Tom
had a moment there. It would I know he's a
broadcast or whatever if he had said he's leaning New
England because his memory is there. No one would have
had a problem with that, and he didn't do it.
He did not do it.

Now, let's talk about the most famous person I've seen
here on press Rock who ended up having the biggest crowd.

the people that people have seen the most excited to see.

Okay, here we go. Number five, Shannon Sharp. Shannon Sharp
is actually towards the front. He is Shay Shay as
they say, and he has been up there. He's actually
positioned kind of in a tough spot for them because
it's like when you walk in and so it feels
like Shannon Sharp. He has a lot of people they

tend to watch and then leave, not obsessive, but Shannon
Sharp does draw quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
And they got a bump, the Mario bump, because when
we walked in, Mario just moted over everyone in TV
sets to get to the club. They said he was.

Very excited about that. Are we ready for Number fours.
Number four, I'm gonna say Kay Adams. Kay Adams had
quite a crowd as she was taping her show, a
lot of people. I think, if you're not in this,
you know, it's easy because I think there's on the
FanDuel network to not see her. But she has a
massive following and as she walked like little puppy dogs,

people were walking.

Funny enough, Mario was knocking down people yesterday trying to
see Kay and to get a closer look.

Number three, I'm gonna say Pat McAfee a ton of
people crowding around his set during the break, everyone trying
to wave at him because he actually will wave back.
I've learned maybe it's good in life just to occasionally
wave back because it makes people excited.

They've done a good job of being taller than the others,
so like, I know exactly where the Pat McAfee said
is when I walk in. It's good pr on their part.
I mean you can see it from across the building here.
All the others kind of level a little hidden. They've
kind of commanded a big stage over there.

I'm gonna do two a tie, a tie between Martha
Stuart and Steven A. Smith, two people that would have
a good show together if they ever put it. Martha Stewart,
Martha Stewart. Every woman in here is just like Martha Stewart.

He is, first of all, I think he's like twenty
two years old now he's also helped that he's walking

I didn't realize that. But he has been, without question,
the person that people seem to be the most excited about.

I could even tell you. Even my wife, she like
sends me Robert Irwin clips. He has this brand. I'm
not I guess not in that algorithm. But he is
so popular. It's not just from the dancing room.

I think we all loved Steve, and the way that
he passed away was so tragic. So for Robert to

would you like to wrap the snake around your arm?

My college roommate had a snake. Its name was the
Spanish word for death, which is already intimidating himself. Mayor Day. Yeah,

Anyway, a couple of weeks there's just be a group
text like, hey, guys, can't find the snake, just be
careful around the house. That's a little unsettling, that is

this is how I first learned Sean Alexander. I went
to Middlesbrough High School. I was a junior in high school.
We had a great football team. Our running back was
a guy named Eric Erky Witherspoon from Middlesboro High School,
who was fighting with you for the lead in rushing

in the state. You passed him at the end. He
came in second rushing to you in high school.

I saw him recently still saying, Oh, Sean Alexander just

before I got on a plane to fly out here,
and they were like, oh, Man, you know, it's so

And then all of a sudden, I'm like, Bama's showing
up throughout the school, Notre Dames at the school, Michigan's
at the school, and I'm like looking around and I

of weird. They don't call anymore. It's in excuseable. Hi,
Bill Curry. I wasn't. I thought they had another running back.
They probably had another running back.

You would have found like you, Sean, but you went
to Alabama then to the Seahawks. How exciting is this
to have your guys?

Yeah, it's super exciting.

You know, watching how Seattle is.

This team reminds me a lot of my team and
know five where you know Sam Donald does some things
that I really was like, just like we had hassleback,
you know, like you know, Hassbag wasn't like Peyton Maning

don't have to go out and go create our own foundation.
They go finding people for the foundation. They go get

people together. So it's really good because it limits the stress.

We have to have on us.

So we're allowed to just go to the communities, talk
to the families, and get everything that we need for
those families.

So for me, it's about single mothers and single families.

So being in the household and being a person that
was in single households and live with my siblings. I'm
the oldest and seven. I lost one of my sisters
when I was seven. So being in the household and
seeing my mom have to try to prepare food going
coming home from practice or school and there's no food
on the table when it's six o'clock it's supposed to

be dinner time, right, and there's no food.

We got to wait till about nine o'clock.

To get some white rice and chicken, and everybody else
already an eight and ready for school for the next day,
Like we're still waiting around and trying to figure things out.
So being in that you have the heart, the heart
that I have is so period to the point that
it's like I don't want nobody else to ever go
through what I went through. Like obviously you're going to
go through things in life, You're going to face adversity,

not to face it and go about it the right way,
or if you do face it and have somebody in
your corner to help you out and not have to

But I also think kind of the the national respect,
the sort of appreciation has taken off. What's that felt
like in year three to kind of take that next step? Yeah,
you know, it's it's definitely a blessing.

I always want to grow, always want to progress. I
always want to make sure that I'm doing everything I
can to help the team as far as kind of
the outside national stuff. Again, I'm super grateful for the support.
I'm super grateful for it for me individually, you know,
it's just it's stuff. It's out of my control. You know,
every there's ebbs and flows up and downs in life,
you know, everyone's opinion is gonna change. For me, I
try to just focus on the opinions of the people

in the building, the people that I'm close with. Uh.
You know, I've been a sports fan. You know, I
am a sports fan. So I again I get in.
I appreciate everyone's opinion because.

feed are. Just focus on on the team and you know,
try to accomlish the goals that we set out as
a UNI.

You took a big step forward this year, not just
here but the Panthers, and you know, not a lot
of tradition there, smaller market. What's it like doing it
in Carolina and being a part of that. I'll admit
watching on TV, the fan base looks awesome for sure,
but you know, it is a smaller market than a
franchise at that and has much. Traddission said, is there
some extra pride in doing it there?

Speaker 5 (50:12):
Yeah, just like you said, you know, the fans of
support there is amazing. You know, it means a lot
for us just to be embraced as it's he as
a franchise. So uh, you know, we we rely on
that a lot. We leanto that a lot. We we
make sure that, you know, for us, there's a ton
of motivations just for the Carolinas to be able to
to to do it in that that that area of
that market. It's it's you know, it's huge for us.
And again we were the support is huge for us.

We're grateful for us. So we're going to continue to
push to be our best, you know, to try it
on all.

much youth that just are are looking for for something

tangible to grass looking for a relationship, looking for and
I can I can guarantee you whatever you have, wherever
you bring the table is enough. You know, the just
the time that it takes being able to show that
you care about someone, you're investing someone for someone young,
you know that can mean the world of difference in
something small, something big in their life trajectory. So I

definitely encourage you, encourage anyone that can to be a
mentor because you know there's you can make such a
huge impact in people's lives and you don't have to
have this crazy thing, have this crazy story. It's the
investment in someone young that that means the world.

paced environment and they'd hang around and talk for as
long as they could before they had to get to
their next second undrest. As a Washington commander, including pants,
he's usc he was outside filming with a tripod like
he would hit record and then he'd run around and
talk kind of show. I don't know he's fully padded.

If I'm guessing, he's probably a TikTok talk TikToker I've
been amazed how many Tiktoki people are here.

Yeah, and there's also a Threads Threads as a very
