This is the Preas show.

Speaker 2 (00:02):

What is the I know, Kalin's it's it was putting
on leather pants, I think, But what is the dumbest way,
most insane way, most unexplainable way that you've injured yourself?
Because I woke up this morning in excruciating pain with
it back. My back is messed up again. How could
this be? I did nothing. I did nothing like I

(00:45):
want to say, I want to tell you a story
about how I saved a kitten from the river or
I uh, you know, something like like something good like
I don't know. An old lady was slipping on the
ice and I risked my life. I jumped, you know,
so she fell on top of me. And I mean
I wanted to be this amazing story, but I don't
have one. I simply woke up feeling this way, really

(01:07):
like I can barely walk, Like, how does this happen?
Aside from getting well, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Sorry, I don't want to say it. We did.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You had no problem saying it. You didn't want to
say it, but you had no problem saying.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I'm not the same person I was five years ago. Ten,
I amn't really falling at That was really hard for
her to say.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
If you couldn't tell it just flew right out. It
was hard, said you o, that's what she said. No,
you sound great.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Oh, here we go, yeah, here we go. Here she
just called me old with him two minutes. I mean,
that's that is the answer. But like I didn't need
to hear it. I didn't need you to tell me.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
That you are great.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
But I'm not great though, which is the problem.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I'm not great, like like any any slight movement, and
I just feel like I'm going to break in half,
and not in a good way, not in the kind
of way that you hope for.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
In the weekend, Jason, not things done? Yeah, okay, well nobody.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Oh I fell off of I tried jumping off of
a pier onto my inflatable unicorn and landed on the
bottom of the lake and hurt my knee.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
All right, and now we're having knee surgery. Yeah, if
insurance will ever approve it.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah, yeah, I know this. That was another knee.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
The need that I have to have surgery on was
just from walking here.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
That's kind of what I was looking for.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
So you were just walking, yeah, and now you have
to have me reconstructive surgery.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Turn my little moniscus. They're like, oh, were you like
doing anything, you know, exerting yourself. I was like, does
it look like I'm athletic? Like, no, I wasn't running
a half marathon.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I was walking. Well, what's wrong with the other knee? Nothing.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I just had to get a shot and do some
therapy and it's good. So that needs that needs golden Okay,
the other one, you know, my knees, my knees, this
is right.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I really wish I could explain to you, well I
feel this way, but I I really can't. But I slept.
I slept the wrong way. I slept in a ball,
I slept on the wrong side.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Maybe someone came in the night, and maybe there were
fun activities.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I just don't remember them.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I didn't even have a dream about fun activities that
would have led to me feeling this way.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
When did this this pain started last night? Or did
it start it started weekend? Because you were lit a Friday.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well, I was lit because at the Tangent Live, every
single person bought me a drink, every single person in attendance.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I mean you just laughed.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I mean you you, you left you, you you put
me in the line of fire. You made me deal
with it.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
When I left, you were on top of the bar
doing splits. I said, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
That might that could explain. That's probably that could Actually
that makes a lot of sense now. But no, it
didn't start until last night, and then it was just
it's just progressively worse. Yeah, I don't know. I could
do splits, but I can do them. But when I'm
at the Tangent Live.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, you've never seen you so happy.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't know if it was just I don't know
if it was happy. You guys, they got us, okay,
it's fine.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah, well yeah everyone else left. You left us to
the animals together. But use state I'm looking at Kiki,
I'm looking at at Paulina. You guys just knew you left.
You threw us to the animals.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
We didn't see a chance. I didn't.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
So we did a live tangent for a certain sections,
for a certain region of our listening audience who could attend.
Maybe we'll just start doing it around the country so
that various people can see this. But our tangent to
the warm areas. The tangents are Afare Uncentered Podcast. Oh
don't you worry. I gotta go to West Palm Beach
around February for my quality assurance check.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I do.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
No, I always, I always go to West Palm Beach
in February for a couple of weeks. I got to
make sure that everything is running properly.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I have to.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
It's my job, is the host of the show quality Control.
But I you know, I'm not available in August. No,
I got other places to go in August, like Salt
Lake City. It's much nicer there. So we did our
Offare Uncentered podcast?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Did it live?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
In fact, that's up on the iHeart radio efforts going up,
so you can hear it. Uh that that particular episode,
I guess because we've got hundreds up there already. It's
anything that if you haven't heard it before, it's anything
that we really sort of like get to a certain
point on our show here on the radio where we
probably shouldn't say anything more. Believe it or not, we
do have some limits, and then we go and do
it there. So we did the live Tangent and several

(05:19):
hundred people showed up and that was amazing. And then
at the end of it, we walk out and I
didn't get within five feet of the backstage door for
two hours. And I'm very grateful that that many people
lined up. They wanted to meet us, take pictures, they
wanted to, but then everyone wanted to do a drink,
doing a shot or have a drink. They wanted to

(05:40):
do a drink. I didn't, and I probably did twenty
because I just stood there and then people just kept
handing me. They could have been anything. There could have
been anything in there, and I just kept drinking it.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah. When I heard that you shut that place down.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
They locked the door behind me like they were like,
we gotta leave, dude, Like that everyone owned the place left.
It was the chance they were cleaning, Like, sir, you
need to go home.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
We didn't go home. We went to another bary we did.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Why was shocked about you, because, well, yeah, instocked about me.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Well, no, like.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Paulina, I'm a man of the people. Okay, I'm a
man of the people, and those were my people, right,
they wanted to hang out.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
You're right, You're right.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
And and you know, there's always a story that the
propositions that I was offered the Yeah, I mean, it's
it's amazing. So I'm so grateful for you people that
listen to this thing. You really are a special group.
And I wouldn't have it any other way. And I'll
say that that being said, that has nothing.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
To do with what my back feels this way. I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I got aj saying, rotate your mattress, I mean, or
I can just go to the other side of the
mattress because no one sleeps on that side. Yeah, I
have no explanation. Someone said you slept wrong. Yeah, I
guess so, like excruciating pain. I didn't know if I
I was doing anything. I had to lay down to
put my socks on, like pants, like one leg's not

(07:05):
coming off the ground. So that was interesting. I have
no idea I know. If it's nerves, I don't know.
If it's I'm not sure you have a chiro. I'm
gonna have to find somebody.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
We need to get you home.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
If you don't want to work today, you could just
say that, okay, we don't want to work. You also
could have told me that an hour ago when I
was in bed very much considering.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
I know head, I know I will gash you up anytime,
like you know what I need to lay down.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
That's like my mom.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Like when I want to spend money on something, I
call my mom, Hey, suld I spend money on this,
and she'll always enable me.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
You apparently, if it comes to not working, an't spending money,
call me.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
But see if I told you when I like I
was it was about five, Why what time was it? It
was five something with five just after five when I
was like, I don't know, you already would have been
halfway here. You would then it would have been like
a waste of your time. So I came in anyway,
Never think about wasting my time, Never worry about that.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
You don't ever have to worry about that, because I
can turn around.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
That's the way has the other way I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
I want to be here.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
He said you were lit on guess, yeah I was, honey,
I was just standing there.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Why are you acting?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
You're acting like I put on a full on strip tease,
which is what I saw.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Well did you enjoy it? I did.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Me and Lieutenant Steve we saw you. He's a captain,
you know, let's get it right. Let's let's get our
boys rank correct.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Kept saying, hey, friend, because I couldn't. I didn't realize
what the right title was. So but yeah, you were
lit and you were having a good time, and no
one saved me. No one, no, because you need to
have a good time, you need to lay. It was
not I mean for your back to get messed.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Up, you know, all right, start the show.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I guess somebody say it's getting old.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Sucks.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I'm reading through all these texts of people. Yes, you
were turned that's the picture of it. Yeah, yeah, I was. Yes,
it was someone who sent a picture of us together
in the corner, so that the picture that you sent
in that corner. I didn't leave that corner because it
wasn't allowed to for two hours, like I couldn't. I
couldn't leave. I couldn't take like two steps. It was shot,

(09:17):
it was heroin, it was cocaine, it was no it
was crazy.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Man. We were doing lines up and it was wild.
You missed all this.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Imagine if no one came, though, I'm so grateful that
you guys gave me the worst hangover ever.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I you know, on Saturday I questioned whether I wouldn't
have preferred if no one came.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
But it was good. Yeah, No, I hadn't been left
hungover it a long time. I was good. I'm sure
I was reading here through all.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I broke my foot going down a stair in twenty
twenty two, that's it, huh. In twenty twenty three, I
broke my other ankle going down a hill. Well, I mean,
at least stairs are kind of dangerous.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
They really are. We don't talk about that enough about
how dangerous stairs are. Right, I'd be one wrong step
and then boom, you're on the floor and you're just tumbling.
That's it.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
But at least at least there was a stare involved.
Like there wasn't even a stare involved in this, Like
this just happened. I have no excuse, I have no explanation.
I don't know what to tell you, But we're gonna,
we're gonna do the thing. I guess how many how
many adv can somebody take
