I just want you to be complete.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
We know.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Some of us know geography sometimes. Right.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I just want you to know. Seven days, six nights.
Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort and Spa. A thousand bucks travel credit.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
730.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I'll give you today's keyword. Then you jump on the
iHeart app. Make sure you're tuned in to 1035 KISS FM.
And then leave us a talkback message. Your name.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Where are you listening? Chica Go.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
And my Chica Go buddies are here today. Did Chica
go to Puerto Rico too?

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Chica Go. Chica was at Texas Roadhouse last night. And
Chica might go to his cabin.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I don't know. Oh, wow.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
All right.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Well, you know what, Jason? You've earned it. Take a
few days off. Head to Puerto Rico, Kiki's homeland.

Speaker 6 (00:50):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
They speak Spanish there. It's America. Leave America.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
730.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Paulina will tell you to leave. Yes. You're leaving America.
That's right. But you're not.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
The mainland. Stop it.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
The mainland is what you meant, and everyone knows it.
Except for that person. Teddy Swims, you see on September 25th.
Got those tickets this morning as well. And Vegas, our
iHeartRadio Music Festival. I believe that's around 9.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
You can win.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
BTS will be there. And just announced Smashing Pumpkins, Sierras,
Stella Lefty. The lineup goes on and on for days.
and we'll get you there this morning it's the fred
show i don't want to be excluded because then it's
like people don't like me or don't care but i
also i also don't want the obligation of having to.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Attend uh you want your cake and you want.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
To eat right 100 i love it hey i want
validation that's right that i'm not a piece of crap
but i also i also don't necessarily want to have
to talk.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
To people fred show is on i mean This is it.
Come on.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Oh, yeah. By the way, shout out to Bella Hameen.
With the song, Before I Could Even.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Ask For It.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
She's so on it.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
In my email. Hey, in case you wanted to play this.
That's production.

Speaker 7 (02:06):
Hell yeah, girl.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
That's how it's done. You anticipate my needs.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Read my mind.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Do what's up. You know what? It's a while.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
I was always so jealous. There's one radio personality, big time.
I'm not going to say who it is. I respect
the hell out of this person.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I do.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Has a person stand next to him that gives him
funny lines to say. Slides it over to.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Him on paper. What? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
And hey, he can deliver the line, so it works.
I have no issue with that. A lot of funny
people that you know did not write the things that
they're saying. And the person who did write them can't
perform them as well as they did, so it works.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Right.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Because the art is oftentimes in how you do it.
Like you could give me a joke and I won't
tell it as funny of a way as Dave Chappelle would.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I just won't.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I think Dave Chappelle has a woman that writes for him,
last I heard. And of course, you know, he's brilliant himself.
But yeah, no, there's somebody who just, that's what I need.
I need someone to stand right here and make me funny.
But they can't, we have to CGI them out of
the videos so that people can't tell that someone's like,
here you go.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Here you go, daddy. Here's something funny to say because
you're not that funny. Here you go. So anyway, I
need that. I need that in my life. Here you go.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
That's what my mom does. Our whole family can't stand it.
I'll whisper a joke to her and then she says
it to the whole room. And she's like, well, more
people needed to hear it. I'm like, I just whispered
that just for you.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah. I'm like, girl.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Because she takes credit.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
But we all know. And she'll be like, yeah, I
do do that. I'm like, okay, girl.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
We'll get to waiting by the phone in just a second.
Why did somebody get ghosted from the Hall of Fame?
Showbiz Shelly, $ 1, 050. The Entertainment Report's coming up, too. What
are you working on?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
The internet. I think we have PTSD, maybe, from Dolly.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
But Celine Dion posted sitting on a fence, and the
internet could not handle it.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Like, everybody needed her to get down.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I did something. I think I did something terrible. And
I think I need to get it off my chest.

Speaker 8 (03:57):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Well. I mean, I just.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Heard the announcer wheel of fortune's in a little trouble
now no one's really clear on what he did something
about an airplane right.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Yeah we talked about it yesterday he um we don't.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Know what he did but for record i wasn't here
yesterday so it wasn't i just want to be clear
for anyone listening like she's like no shade like grandpa we.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Talked about it yesterday.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I don't know what you said yesterday because I was
sick in bed.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Anyway, what did you say?

Speaker 7 (04:31):
So a passenger reported him and the captain had police
waiting for him when he was there. Worst part of
the story for me is that he was wearing company merch,
which is not a good time.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
He had that Wheel of Fortune jacket on.

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Oh, no.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Yeah um but so.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I look i i don't.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Want to if he didn't do anything that's great if
he's a nice man i think he's been there for
a while good for him i may have had my
agent the moment that i saw the story the very
second that it broke send my demo over to the wheel.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Before no they're.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
They didn't have a backup.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So i mean i saw the email confirmation that the
guy saw it He's like, well, we don't know what
we're doing here yet.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
But OK.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Well, we need I mean, we need a sample.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I know that's it.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
That's the funny part is the funny part is I
haven't watched Wheel of Fortune in so long. Sorry, Ryan,
that I need to watch it to like see what
the stick is. I just desperately want to be either
the best job in all of television is the host
of Wheel of Fortune or The Price is Right. Or
if you're Steve Harvey family feud, because he's just so
good at it. The next best job is the announcer

(05:38):
for any of those shows, in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Oh, yeah. So, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I mean, the dude hasn't even been fired. Like, he
still very much works there. Probably going to work it out.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
He'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
But I mean, I couldn't even read the whole subject line.
I'm like, Matt, Matt, Matt.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Get in there.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
They're trying to erase them from like the whole scene.
I know they are.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I know they have to go back and do them
all over because Ryan does like 50 in a day
and then goes back to Italy.

Speaker 7 (06:03):
Didn't you say that happened like when Angie left and
started her own show?

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Like people before, like the body was cold.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Oh my God. Oh my God.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Girl, they do that to us every day. I'm going
to tell you right now.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I can tell you who they are.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
If there was any rumbling, if any kind of rumbling
happened to me, I can tell you right now who
would be on the list.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
They'd call me and go, I'm so sorry, and then boom. Boom.
They'd be in there.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Okay, so then no harm, no foul.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
The sad part is.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I've told people recently that I'm sorry, not knowing about
their change in position or lack of position, not knowing
that 15 minutes later somebody was going to call and
say that it was us.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
And I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Yeah, not a great look.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
No.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I know. You are Appiana.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
It's happened more than once where I'm like, oh, dude,
that sucks. I'm really sorry. And then as I'm hitting send, ring, ring, ring, hey, um. Yeah.
So what do you think about.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
And no one will believe that you didn't know.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
And I honestly didn't. I didn't. But anyway, so I'm
sorry to this man.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Like, if it works out great, I hope it's a
misunderstanding and you can continue on your path.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
No, you don't. No, I don't want... You don't hope
that for one minute.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I do hope that. I don't want bad things to
happen to people. Now, if something happens and that position
is open, well, I'm available.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Hit up your co-worker.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Ask for the in. Oh, he's never getting it from him.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
You know how many times? Ryan's not helping me. Are
you kidding me? Absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Are you waiting by the phone?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I've been waiting by the phone for Ryan's secrets my
whole life.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Me too.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
What do you want to do with him?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Girl, anything.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
Ryan called me.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
He's a very cute bodyguard. And I, by the way,
I'm not leaving. I mean, I would do both jobs.
It'd be fine.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Wait, yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Wait a minute.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
It'd be fine.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Well, no, because apparently they not truly didn't do like
the 10 episodes a day for a week, like three
times a year. And then they're done because Ryan's very
busy guy. So that's how they had to do it.
So that's what I would do. Uh, but I'll, I'll
practice and then I'll come in with like a full audition. Um,
but I, I felt really bad about it, but it's like, Hey, I'm,
I was probably, I was probably late. There was probably

(08:09):
somebody who knew, like has friends at the police department
and call, you know, like, Hey, Mario Lopez, I bet
was in there before me.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
You know, he was.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
You know, Mario Lopez is in there before me.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Ryan probably wants to do that, too.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
He probably does. He probably does. He's probably going to
be like, no, I'll handle it. Yeah, we don't. Certainly
not that guy.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
The whole show is just going to.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, exactly. And now me.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
It's me.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
I could see it. And I love that for him.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
So, yeah. So I just I feel bad. I had
to get it off my chest.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
But I I have inquired about their interest in me
as the next voice of Wheel of Fortune, even though
the man is still working there.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Hey, it's not show friends.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I don't know the guy. It's show business. And anyway,
it'll be very exciting if I get the job. Ever
been left waiting by the phone? It's the Fred Show.
Hey Wes, good morning. Welcome to the program.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
How are you? Pretty good, you?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Doing all right, man. What's going on with this woman, Kelsey?
We got to know everything. How did you meet?

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Tell us about any dates that you've been on and
where things are now.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
All right.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Well, I've been waiting by.

Speaker 8 (09:17):
The phone to really get back in touch with this girl, Kelsey.
We met on Hinge and we went out to dinner.
And I'm confused because I thought dinner was fun.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I thought it was great.

Speaker 8 (09:29):
I thought we were really having a great time together.
On the date, we even started talking about another date. And,
you know, I'm not one to really kiss and tell. But,
you know, we had a little kiss when I walked
into her car. And I thought it was good. I
thought it was a great time. Things were going well.
And now she's not responding. So I'm not sure what's

(09:51):
going on.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
I would think this was all good.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I mean, any date that winds up with you walking
someone back to their car and then they give you
a little kiss at the end. I mean, they could
easily just say, no, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
You know, and leave. And then they could, you know,
turn their cheek or whatever. I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
I would walk away from that date with that ending
and think that things are going someplace. I can understand
why you're confused.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Exactly. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Well, let's call Kelsey just a second. We're going to
play a song. We'll come back and you'll be on
the phone. We're going to ask these questions on your behalf.
At some point, you're welcome to jump in on the call.
And the hope is that we can straighten this out
and then set you up on another date that we
pay for, which we just did recently.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
So it is possible. Good luck, man. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Good morning secrets. Mirabelle, Cancun, seven days, six nights. They
got six pools, guys. They got an ocean. They got Mexico.
Cancun's got Mexico.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
It's happening. If you'd like to go.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
What?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Cancun's got Mexico.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Or does Mexico's Got Cancun, I guess it would be.
What is it?

Speaker 4 (10:45):
Mexico's Got Cancun. I like that.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Okay, Mexico's Got Cancun and Secrets Mirabelle, and we got
you on this trip. Here's what you do. Jump on
the iHeart app. Wherever you can hear us, then tune in.
If you're not already on the iHeart app listening, click
on the red talkback mic and leave us a message.
Your name, where you're listening, and the keyword today is... Lifeguard. Lifeguard.
I don't have my Vanna White here. Yeah, Wheel of Fortune.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I don't have my.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
See, I'm already just working myself into it. My friend
Vanna and Ryguy. I don't have Jason here to hand
me the envelope, and I don't need to dramatically... Unseal
it the way that I typically do. But your name,
where are you listening?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Lifeguard.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Leave us a talkback message. Enter as many times as
you want with the new keyword each day. And the
more times you enter, the better chance you have to win.
It's the Fred Show.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Hey, Wes.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Let's call Kelsey. You guys, you met on the dating
app Hinge. You went on a date. you felt like
the date went really well you had a good time
good conversation talked about another date uh and then you
walked into her car and you kissed her at the
end of the date little kiss and that's all good
stuff i i would probably think that i was getting
another date after all of that but you've reached out
to kelsey i assume a couple of different times and

(11:53):
she hasn't responded to you you feel like you're being
ghosted and you want to know why that's right all
right let's.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Call her now good luck wes thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Hi, is this Kelsey?

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Yeah, this is Kelsey.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Who's this?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Hey, Kelsey.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Good morning. My name is Fred.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I'm calling from the Fred show, the morning radio show.
And I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to continue with the call.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Can we chat for just a couple of minutes? You
can hang up anytime.

Speaker 9 (12:24):
Yeah, OK.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
I guess that's fine.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
We're calling on behalf of a guy who says he
met you on Hinge and you guys recently went out.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
His name is Wes. Do you recall meeting and going
on a date with Wes? Yeah, I did.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
I met Wes on a dating app and we went
out for dinner.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah, so we talked to him just a second ago
and he kind of told us all that and he
felt like the date was a success. But he says
he's reached out for another date and you aren't responding
to him. So what's going on with that?

Speaker 6 (12:50):
Well, you know, I was kind of feeling for him. Like,
you know, he was putting out some good vibes. So,
you know, when he walked me to my car, I
did give him a kiss.

Speaker 8 (12:59):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Yeah, we heard about the kiss. I mean, that's usually
a good thing, right?

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Yeah, you know, it was a really nice kiss.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
But, you know, afterwards, he actually told me, like, oh, look,
you parked right next to me. And, you know, which
was fine and all, but I realized his car... Um,
this is awful, but I realized his car had a
lot of obnoxious bumper stickers and I obviously can't remember
all of them, but I remember being just so turned

(13:27):
off when I walked by it on the way to
the restaurant.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
So first of all, I have an issue with bumper stickers. OK,
I don't even we were going to get to what
they were. But like, I don't I don't like a
bumper sticker. I don't like a bumper sticker. I think
they're clutter. I think it's messing up the paint on
the car. I don't know why anyone I've never been
so committed to anything in my life that I need
to put a bumper sticker on my car about it. However,
these obviously stood out to you. So can you give

(13:52):
us an example of what some of these bumper stickers were?

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Well, one of the.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
Stickers was a girl on all fours, the two hands
pulling her braided pigtails. And oh, my God. The other
one said, I love. Oh, God, I can't believe I'm
going to say this over the radio. But another one said,
I love.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Did he have the one that said We were just
talking about this The one that said Grass, ass, or
what is it? Grass, ass, or ass Nobody rides for
free Did he have that? Because if he didn't have
that one Then he's not a true connoisseur Of the

(14:36):
bumper sticker.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Oh my god Wow.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Well, he didn't have that one, but it definitely was
enough to make me see some red flags.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
That is crazy.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
What does that mean to have a sexual bumper sticker position?
You know everybody can see these, right? Everyone can see.
I forgot to mention that Wes is here, the bumper
sticker collector. I'm very forgetful. Wes, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Why? I don't know. I mean, I don't know. I
never thought much of them. I thought that was just funny.
Maybe you should. Maybe you should think much of them.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Really?

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Someone getting their hair pulled?

Speaker 5 (15:11):
I mean, it's kitschy, you know?

Speaker 6 (15:14):
It can't be.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
I don't know. They were a gift from a friend.
I like them.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
I don't think there's anything wrong with them.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
A friend gave you these.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I can see that you want to put bumper stickers
about your interests.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Some people are like.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
political or some people are like i like fishing or
you know i didn't but apparently you like that so
it's important that everybody knows that i mean i.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Don't see a huge problem with it but i mean
i clearly could clearly yeah not not really i think
they're funny i mean i you gotta you gotta have
a sense of humor and not take things so seriously.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah talk to us about the isle of right yeah
would you tell me more about that or does it
i think it speaks for itself kind of man.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
That was a gift from uh my fraternity brother um
i've had that one.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
On for a couple years someone gave me a bumper
sticker that said that i would either think they were
being hysterical like like funny or or i would be
concerned about my image but he gave it to me
you want.

Speaker 9 (16:16):
Her to ride around in it Can you imagine getting
out of his car at the gas station?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
There's another one.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Like Kelsey's supposed to, people are supposed to ride in
that car with you. And I guess that, you know, you,
you've spelled out like, like merit badges, exactly what you're into. So,
I mean, it's like, I don't think.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
I mean, I don't think it's meant to be taken
so literally, so seriously.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
It's silly.

Speaker 8 (16:39):
It's stupid.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (16:41):
It's, it's, it's not something I think is meant to
be taken seriously.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Okay. So, Kelsey, you see, you weren't supposed to take
it seriously.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
He's fun.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
I'm so sorry that I didn't take something like that seriously.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Like, come on. That's just so gross.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
Like, the fact that you can't even see how disgusting
that is, especially when you're out in public, is extremely worrisome.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
I mean, at least get yourself, like, a classy one,
like the 26.2, you know, so we can all know
that you run a marathon or you ran a marathon
at one point. Or, you know, or how about my honor,
my kid's an honor student or whatever.

Speaker 7 (17:15):
The coexist one, you know, with all the religious symbols.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
I'm a fan of that one. That's a nice one.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
How about a nice rainbow flag so we can be
an ally?

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Or do you have those too? I don't think I
have a rainbow flag.

Speaker 8 (17:29):
I am an ally, but I don't think I have
that one.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
It's not giving.

Speaker 8 (17:33):
But I think that.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
I think that, you know, I think it's like, you.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
Know that people put like dumb, like jokey ones on
the back of their cars.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yes, there's a certain kind of person that does. You're right.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
And you're that guy. And I guess it's not for Kelsey.
It's a unique sense of humor where your pervy jokes
need to be plastered to your car so that all
can know. right you know your sense of humor it's
it's a very unique individual and you know i i
don't think that that individual is what kelsey's looking for
i don't i mean can you imagine pulling up to

(18:08):
the function you know with all of that the.

Speaker 9 (18:11):
Guy peeing on the whatever the opposite team like if
you drive a ford it's like peeing on the chevy
logo you know i mean okay look kelsey i'll ask
the question i know the answer but would you like
to go out.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
With him again Oh, hell no. I'm sorry, but no.
That's a no for her. You know what, Wes?

Speaker 2 (18:29):
You express yourself however you need to, but I just
think you've got to know that when you do something
like that, that people are going to have an opinion
about it.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
That's fair.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
That's fair.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
All right. Well, he's a reasonable perv.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Yeah, right.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
All right.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Hey, look, Kelsey, thank you for answering, and good luck
to you, and Wes, good luck to you as well.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Thank you. Caitlin's Entertainment Report is on The Fred Show.

Speaker 7 (18:51):
Lizzo speaking out after a judge dismissed a discrimination and
harassment lawsuit against her touring company. Remember, Asha Daniels, who
was a wardrobe assistant on the European leg of her
special tour back in 2023, claimed several members of her
team dealt with sexual and racial harassment, disability.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Discrimination and more.

Speaker 7 (19:10):
Lizzo denied the allegations and she was actually dropped from
the case in December of 2024.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Now, a U.S.

Speaker 7 (19:16):
District judge dismissed the entire thing, saying that some of
the behavior was, quote, inappropriate, unprofessional, but didn't reach levels
of harassment. She posted a video on the gram saying
she's relieved her team won the case. She also shared
she's never met this woman in person and claims that
the whole thing was ridiculous. I mean, we already knew this,
but Dolly Parton kept her cancer diagnosis private because she

(19:37):
didn't want to worry about, or she didn't want to
worry people or have people worry about her. This is
what her niece, Jada Starr, says. It wasn't revealed, remember,
to the public until after her death and the type
of cancer we still don't know. And she says that
Dolly kept it real private, didn't want to worry anyone.
And she was also in shock, says losing her aunt
was really difficult, very surreal, adding, I can't remember a

(19:59):
life without her. But she knows Dolly would be telling
them now, start drying it up and start getting back
to work and love each other real hard just days
after her death. Her niece helped honor her at the
Grand Ole Opry by performing The Orchard, a song they
had previously recorded together. And I have so many more
plans to tell you guys in the coming days about
what she has.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Planned for us to give us a treat after she
is gone.

Speaker 7 (20:23):
And she just, she cared so much about her fans,
about the world, and obviously her charitable support. um things
that she's done are still changing the world so rip
miss dolly um after speaking of dolly after that heartbreaking
loss we all have severe ptsd i i.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Don't know if you guys do but i'm.

Speaker 7 (20:39):
Just like we have to protect everyone that is so
held so dear in our hearts and so when celine
dion posted a photo of herself sitting on a fence
people were really really upset and the comments were like
celine I'm going to need you to go back inside.
There's something in the air. I say this with much
love and care. Get your ass back inside right now.
Don't make unnecessary journeys, Celine. Don't take risks on treacherous roads.

(21:03):
Right now is not the time to be playing on fences,
or this is not the time for ski-daddling.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
For the love of humanity, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
She needs one of those popemobiles that has the big glass,
like the snow globe on wheels.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
We got to put her in there, and then she
doesn't get to come out.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Bubble wrap, my girl.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Because there's so few people, and that we can all
agree on and that we want to protect. And like,
we really need it, especially during this time. So people
are not playing about Celine.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Get off the fence. Okay, girl, we need you. And lastly,
I just want to play for you guys.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
Martha Stewart talking about why and how this whole friendship,
do you have that clip Fred?

Speaker 4 (21:36):
I didn't warn you before.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
I do.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Thank you. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
You're always on top of it. You are.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
You're always so in sync with me.

Speaker 7 (21:42):
Um, but she is talking about why she became friends
with Snoop. And I actually felt like, Oh my gosh,
this is literally how I feel. And I had to
look up her birthday two days before. So either of
us could be saying this, but listen.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
I invited Snoop to be on my show because he
was a rapper and I was attracted to rappers. I
like rap music. I especially like Eminem and I could
never get Eminem to come on any, you know, he.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Would not accept any invitation. I still haven't met him.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
I tried to meet him at the Super Bowl when
he appeared with Snoop and Dr. Dre a couple years ago,
and I missed. I was walking around the stadium to
get down to where he was because I was invited,
and it was too late by the time I got there.
They were already out on the field performing. But that's
how I met Snoop on my show.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Just peel the skin off. Oh, you want me to
take the skin? The skin shot. The skeezing.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
He hit it off.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
He was just a delight.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
And we had our own show for three years. We
still work together quite a bit. We have a gin,
still gin now. I work with him and Dr.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Dre.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
And he got me to come and be with him
on the Olympics, summer and winter.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
And now we're going to do L.A. It's a nice friendship.
It's pretty wild when you're at a point in fame
where you're like, no. I don't. Martha Stewart can buzz off.
Not interested.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
It's so Eminem.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
I don't have time for that.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
Right. And I'm just like, she's me. I am her.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
I love rappers. And Eminem, why won't you respond to us?
But seriously, I think he can meet Martha. Make her day.
She's been walking around SoFi Stadium ever since trying to
find you.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Just meet up with her, okay?

Speaker 2 (23:11):
I need to verify the Eminem story. And someone told
me this once upon a time. And I can't remember
who it was. And I don't know if it's true.
But my understanding was that he... The very first media
stop he ever did was at New York in New York.
And so like, like, you know, the artists come around
and when they're like little baby artists and they meet people,
they go city to city and they try and get
people to play their song and the label brings them around. Hey,

(23:32):
this is, you know, so-and-so, uh, and how many have
come through here and we're like, okay, cool. Then they're
like Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
It's like, Hey, you know, Paul, didn't you give Sabrina
Carpenter a tour?

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Was that you? Who did you, or was it, uh,
Chapel Roan? Who did you like give a tour to one-on-one?
I thought you did.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
I interviewed Chapel, and Sabrina came here. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I thought you walked somebody around here, and then they
wound up being, like, wildly famous a year later.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
I like that story. I'm sticking with it.

Speaker 7 (23:58):
When I interviewed Chapel, I had no idea who she was.
And two weeks later, maybe you're thinking of that. She
was Chapel.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
But this guy.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
From the label, somebody from the label.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
This is a long time ago they told me this,
but they met him in the lobby of the radio
station in New York, and they're like, great, we're going
to be doing a lot of this together.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
And he said, no, we're not.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
I love him so much.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
This is the only one I'm ever going to do. Oh.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
And they're like, yeah, okay. Like, you're an absolute nobody.
You'll do whatever we tell you if you want to
sell records. And he was like, no, this is the
last time I'm doing this. Like, one time.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
And they're like, okay, whatever.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Well.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
He's still going.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
But like, I guess if you hear him on the
radio or see him, he agreed, he agreed to do it.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Right.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Like himself.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
He said, I'll do that. I want to do this.
And then no one made him do it again.

Speaker 7 (24:38):
Oh, you're not making him do anything, but he should
meet Martha. I mean, and he should have met Dolly
because Dolly wrote him that letter.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
She wanted to meet him.

Speaker 7 (24:44):

I have it somewhere. I need to find it.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
The clip of Snoop on here a few years ago
when he rapped nothing but a G thing, and we
all sat there and watched him do it. And it
was one of the most surreal moments of my whole life.
It's just wild to hear a song that you grew
up with, and the man who made it is sitting
across from you doing it.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
And it's like, wow, you sound like you.

Speaker 7 (25:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
He put your name in it.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
He did. We have to find it. We have it somewhere.
I don't know where it is. Paulina, you're in charge
of the archives.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
I'm on the case.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
It's somewhere. I don't know. Showbiz Shelley, $ 1, 050, five questions. Beater,
you get paid.
