We're fighting for our lives, Okay, we're fighting for our lives.
Is there this want to I want to know from parents,
from aunts, uncles, whomever. Is there a toy that you
have purchased for a child in your life that you
regret You regret purchasing it, or I suppose another way
we could do This is what I'll be doing here
(01:52):
pretty soon, which is buying the toy that my sister
will regret me buying.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
That's my party trick. I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
She needs to be a lot nicer to me.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
My sister is a wonderful woman, but she's very hard
on me, very critical of me, and she needs to
I need to be an ally like keep your enemies
close your friend's closing your enemies closer.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
And I'm not her enemy.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
But like, when these girls get old enough and they
start asking me for stuff, they're gonna get it. I
have a five year old niece and a three year
old niece. I don't have any kids on my own.
I'm not married, and so I got a little bit
of expendable income. So when Polly calls me, it is like, yo,
I'm thinking about the drums. You know, what's going to
be a drum set delivered to the home from Bubba.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
That's what they call me.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
But I asked this because Polly, who is five, I
guess she's not ready for a cell phone yet, a
mobile phone. But my sister has discovered this thing called
tin Can. And this is not an advertisement because I'm
certainly not being paid for it, because we paid for
the thing. But apparently there's a phone and that like
hooks up to Bluetooth or Wi Fi or something in
(02:54):
her room. And then I have one and my mom
has one. They arrived yesterday. We hooked them up to
this network. And then Polly can call only tin Cans
these phones, so like, and I guess there's the speed
dial so she can call me, and she can call
my mom and that's it.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
But well, apparently we're rolling.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
This out today, the roll out the official technology, because
now I had mine installed, and then I guess my
mom will you know, install hers at some point, And
so I would imagine the phone calls will start today.
And I guess that the concept is that it's going
to be in her room and it's in her discretion
to call me when she wants to call me.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
I think that phone's going to ring all the time.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Oh yes, And I think that I agreed to this
because I thought it was cute. And you know, I
don't get to talk to Paulie very often. I have,
you know, deep conversations. Also, FaceTime is a little challenging.
She likes to FaceTime, but she's five, so really she
just stares at herself, which is the same, you know, same,
But then she kind of runs around the house with
it and like she hasn't really mastered the idea that,
(03:56):
like you, FaceTime is rude. It is for focus, you know,
like we got to look at each other. Like the
purpose of facetiming is so we can look at each
other in the eye, you know, but not her sometimes
She'll put it in her easy bake oven and then close,
like she has a little kitchen set. She'll put the
phone in the oven. She thinks it's funny to put
Baba in the oven and then close the door and
then leave it there. So I'm on the phone, and
(04:19):
I'm like, at what point do I hang up? Because
I think I'm being cooked right now or something, And
this is so funny to her. She just laughs and
land and then she leaves, and then my sister like
five minutes later, where's my phone? And she forgot that
we were having a conversation. But I'm just I'm curious.
Have you bought your nephews any toys that that you regret,
either because you're responsible for it or that your siblings
(04:40):
are upset about.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I mean, it's my right of passage as an aunt
that I can buy whatever I want, you know, Like
if I like a toy, I buy it.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
I agreetime.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
You know, Now, whatever the parents do in their home
is their business. But I feel like we you and
I like we can buy.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Whatever we want.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
I completely agree.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
But I would not, And I feel like parents often
regret things of like anything you buy with sand, like
there's like any type of sand.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Oh, yes, you.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Know how they have the little you can mix the
colors of sand. That is crazy work. I would never do.
I would only do that if I wanted to torture
my brother and my sister in law.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
But that's a good way to do it. Yeah, and
anything went.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Paint or glitter, pain a pain, glitter.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
We started with glitter. Glitter is banned in my house.
Only glitter only if it's on Pride month. That's the
only time I can have water in the house. I
bought a sandbox like that little turtle you know. I'm
talking about the turtle shaped one. It's on the patio.
Somehow sand ends up like in my bedroom. Like, I
don't understand how we went from those sandbox on.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
The patio to upstairs. Yes, I see it's everywhere.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
Good So glitter and sandbox. Okay, I send that over.
That'll be great.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
And that's the other thing is like, wait till Gigi
figures out about Uncle Boba.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Would you just wait?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
She doesn't have to call me that because it does
sound a little weird unless there's context. But she can
call me uncle for you. We'll just wait though, because
the same rules applied to the family here. You know,
you start having kids, Kiki Jason, when you start popping
them out, you know this is there's there's a close
circle of people and they got the number. And when
you won't do it, I will because especially because you
won't do it.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Yeah, No, I'm not doing a lot of things, like
I don't buy certain things anymore, even like I don't know,
like we have like a bluey car that her godfather
got her. Right, it's like a little car you drive
in the house. I don't charge my phone barely, so
I'm not going to be charging the bluey car. So
blue car is always dead. But when it's not dead,
she's crashing into walls. She's going to like you know
what I mean, and it has to turn her around
and chase her. And I'm like, this is just me
being lazy. But I'm like, this is so annoying.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Like stop driving the blue car.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
I've bought so many of those cars and you're right,
they're all in my brother's garage because he won't charge
on people with the four key And I'm like, you
should have his license by now.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I've bought understanding.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Charge it. That's what I would do.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
It would be like all the batteries dead on that. Well,
come here and let me teach you how to charge
it then?
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Right?
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Oh no, No, my sister needs to change her attitude
towards me because I'm I could be her worst enemy
because I love those little girls so much and they
can have whatever they want, and especially if if moms
didn't know.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
So you need you need to figure it out. Amanda, Hey, Hannah,
good morning, Hi, good morning guys. I made one one
oh three five? What is it?
Speaker 4 (07:11):
This is a toy that you bought for Is it
your child or someone else? And you're like, I shouldn't
have done that.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
For my child, my children? Well, no, my friend's children.
But then I will not allow anyone to buy it
for my kids.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
Okay, what is.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Any kind of microphone karaiyo ki toy?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
No?
Speaker 1 (07:31):
No, I have three kids. It's all girls. They're loud enough.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Yeah, what was my first to That was my main
toy as the kid.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
He still carries it around crazy. And by the way,
there's nothing more telling than that. But your first toy
was a karaoke machine. But look, then your your kids
can trying to be Kiki and and be very famous.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
He's like absolutely not true. Kiki is my favorite on
the show.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
But excuse me.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
You know I'm coming over.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
I'm gonna use I'm getting used to that anyway.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
No, I need babysitters. I need babysitters.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
I was gonna offer Anna, but since I'm not even
in the number one, I don't even know. I'm not
sure if I'm number two, which is very upsetting.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
So Paulina's number two.
Speaker 5 (08:17):
Okay, you know what. Your phone's breaking up? I don't know.
I got I gotta go.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
He's gonna sing karaoke machines see your.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Kids, and you don't.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah, I got your phone number down. I'm gonna figure
out your address, and by the end of the day,
Amazon's gonna show up with a bunch of karaoke machines
and you're gonna change your damn mind. Anna, No, have
a good day. Thanks, I'm glad you come back.
Speaker 7 (08:41):
No.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
See, that's the joy of that's the joy of having
seventeen people on the show. I don't care who your
favorite is.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
I really don't, okay, because like somebody, my discount paycheck
is the same.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Don't no matter what, pick somebody and love them and
be loyal. And I don't I really don't care, truly
don't care.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yes, hate us and listen.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Well, there are plenty of those two, as I'm finding out. Hailey, Hi, Hello, Hi,
good morning. What is so? This is your kid? Or
you bought it? How did it go? You you regret
the purchase? Or you went and did it to somebody
else could regret it.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Well, it's actually not a kid, it's a dog. Oh
what do you do?
Speaker 4 (09:16):
So?
Speaker 6 (09:16):
I got this little pink like pig thing that goes
like orink orange oink.
Speaker 8 (09:21):
Like every time you squeeze it.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
That dog is in love with that toy and will
not stop pueezing it an entire day.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Oh wow, look what you've done, like.
Speaker 8 (09:33):
Twenty toys and she loves that one for some reason.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
And you love the dog. So what's the dog's name?
Speaker 8 (09:41):
The dog's name is Harley.
Speaker 9 (09:42):
But I just moved out, so I don't have to
hear that anymore.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Well, you left it, You moved out, left the dog.
Speaker 8 (09:48):
So it's my mom's dogs family dog.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Moved out of my I'm calling you, what do you do?
Speaker 8 (09:56):
He may be annoying, but I love.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Do Uh Hayley, thank you, have a good day.
Speaker 5 (10:03):
Yeah. My dad used to do that.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
We'd buy dog toys, and of course they like the
squeaky ones, and so he would like de squeak them.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
I don't know how you would do it.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, he's an engineer, and not that you need to
be an engineer, but he'd somehow get inside of there
and take the squeaker out, but the toy would remain intact.
And the dogs were like very distraught because all of
a sudden, this toy that they loved won't make the
noise anymore. They couldn't figure out why. Kind of mean, Eric,
how you doing well?
Speaker 5 (10:28):
How about you guys doing great?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Thank you did toy that you regret? I guess your
kids having or whomever?
Speaker 8 (10:35):
All right, So this was for my sister's kids. They
really don't ask herself, and they really wanted these markers.
And what's the quote. Thing about these markers is that
you could use them on countertops waws and they had
a special solution and then you're able to clean it
off super easily. So I got on the markers and
(10:55):
it came in different style, so it was regular color
glitter and blow in the dark. WHA are using them everywhere?
Everything's going fine until I get a picture from my
sister and she says, great, Well, they followed other markers
in the house and they started sinking. Yeah, using a
permanent marker. Yeah, so they fixed everything whatever. Months go past.
(11:21):
Tell me why they are over here using to glow
in the dark marker. She doesn't even notice it. So
they turn off all the lights from Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Yeah, that's the problem I would think with that is
somehow you got to be like these ones do it,
but the other ones don't do it. But I don't
know how you explain that to a five year old
or you know, I'll have her old. Wow, Eric, thank you,
have a good day. Glad you called h Janine. Hey, hi,
you bought it for your kids? You regret it? U.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
So I bought a trampoline for my niece and it
was one of those thirteen foot like big trampoline.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
You are superand for that, like that was the toy
that everybody wanted, and my parents were too concerned about liability. Yeah,
and the rich kids that had the one that was
dug in the ground. The rich all my rich friends,
I didn't have that many, but the rich kids like
whose parents loved them, they would dig a hole in
the ground, stick to things, so it was a ground
level Yeah, but you know the parents that didn't really care,
they had the one that was, you know, five feet
(12:20):
over the ground, so that that you you know, could
jump off the thing and break your leg anyway, So
what happened.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yeah, So it's like one of those thirteen foot ones
and it had to live in their backyard.
Speaker 8 (12:31):
I bought it because I love trampoon, so I figured I.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Could use it when I come over. Yeah, but it
like killed a patch of grass in their yard. It
had to live there forever. All the neighbor kids wanted
to come over and jump on it and.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
Would fall off, So yeah, I could have thought that through.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
So you're very popular in the house for doing that.
Speaker 8 (12:49):
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
But who matters more? The kids are the grown ups.
The kids matter more than me. I don't If my
sister's mad at me, fine, as long as Polly and
maybra Abbey, I don't really care.
Speaker 8 (12:58):
Yep, Yeah, exactly, have a good day.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Thank you so much, thank you.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Oh, you wait till they're old enough to come visit
me because they live in another city, So you wait
till they come home. They're gonna she gonna come home
with you know, did you buy her a knife set? Yeah,
she said she wanted one.
Speaker 5 (13:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
She wants to invest in herself. She going door to
door selling cutco. Now, I just want to make some
extra money. I'm trying to help her out, right, Emily,
Good morning, Good morning, Emily. You regret giving your kid one,
so I.
Speaker 9 (13:30):
Don't regret giving a kid anything. I don't have kids
at the moment, but I know that growing up, my
mom absolutely hated the furbies I received.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Oh yeah, that was over a big deal. I don't
know if they still are, but that was a big deal.
Speaker 9 (13:45):
Yeah deep deep dives there, but yeah, I was all
I want to say. I was maybe in second grade
when they hit and yeah I got two. I got
one for Christmas and one for my birthday. And she
did not like because they wouldn't shut up. But she
(14:05):
also thought they were creepy.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yeah, they were a little creepy, especially when the battery
would die.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Like.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Yeah, yeah, I think.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
I would remove all the batteries and be like, yeah,
the battery store is closed.
Speaker 9 (14:19):
Or something like that, shut their eyes and like rock
back and forth. Two and like that was like I
did it, Yes, so I have them I put the
batteries in and immediately took them out.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Yeah, they actually a little Posastic's true. Thank you, Emily,
have a good day.
Speaker 9 (14:31):
Yeah, thank you, guys.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
Thank you for all the text.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Two Absolutely no musical toys drums, piano, guitars, kinetic sand
and linkamals. I don't know what that is or if
that's a TYPEO. But I don't know what these toys are.
Most of my friends say for their kids' birthdays, do
not get them slime. Okay, well I'll be getting that.
Let me see, I'm taking notes over here. My daughter's
cell phone. I hate it. She's glued to the phone
(14:56):
and when I call her tex she doesn't answer. Now
that makes sense. Blue to the thing. You're paying for it.
You're always on it. But for some I got friends
like that too. They're always on the phone. But when
I text him somehow it takes a day to get
back to family. Now, you made a choice, okay, because
you don't have a kiky.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
I would like just call me out.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
You made a choice. Treads the biggest stories of the day.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
See you may have noticed, depending where you live, the
fig pungent smoke from wildfires in Canada and northern Minnesota.
I sent a picture from my apartment last night to
someone and I had to make the outlines of the
buildings with like red, like well, here's where the tallest
building in the Midwest is, and here's where another one
would be if you could see it from the Great
(15:41):
Lakes to parts of the East Coast. To reduce visibility
and prompted warnings that being outside could be dangerous. More
than one hundred and twenty million people across a dozen
states were under air poley alerts, and Detroit ranked among
the worst major cities in the world for air quality
as a high pressures system trapped smoke from dozens of fires. Detroit, Minneapolis,
Chicago all landed in the top five most polluted major cities.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
Yesterday.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
I saw meteorologists in Chicago, state was the worst air
quality he's ever seen it.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
Every zero to fifty range is where you're supposed to
be outside and it's healthy. And at one point I
saw when we were at five hundred, it.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Was it eight hundred.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
At one point was it, oh my gosh, like WHOA.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
The worst hit areas were those bordering Canada, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan,
parts of New York, All of Michigan and much of
Minnesota fell under hazardous air quality alerts, the most severe category,
which puts sensitive groups like children, the elderly, and those
with heart or lung problems at particular risk. Milwaukee recording
its worst air quality on record, with a reading nearly
double its previous twenty twenty three mark eight hundred in
(16:42):
Wisconsin in some places. The World Cup Final between Argentina
and Spain this Sunday. If you'd like to go, latest
resale ticket prices or averaging about eighty five hundred bucks
somewhere between seventy eight hundred and ninety seven hundred dollars,
that is for entry level seats, average resale ticket eleven
thousand dollars. Premium lowered to your seats fifteen to thirty
(17:04):
eight grand. The top listings forty five thousand dollars per
seat on stop hub, eighty nine thousand per seat somewhere else,
and two hundred thousand somewhere else. If you want to
go to the World Cup Final, you gotta like soccer
a lot.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Two hundred thousand American dollars. Yes, oh please, yeah? We
have World Cup at home, right, we do?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Hya?
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Is that home?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Jason mentioned this a little while ago, but inside the
Today's Show studio, a guy got past security at NBC's
Rockefeller Plauza Studios in New York at lunched at co
host Craig Melvin while shouting racist slurs. The NYPDA officers
that responded said a disorderly person was there and took
this identified man into custody. There were no injuries reported
(17:49):
and the investigation remains ongoing. The intruder was looking for
al Roker after he breached security and confronted Melvin in
a restricted area after he was unable to find Roker,
and as Jason pointed out, the most I pressive parts
fifteen minutes later, they're on TV like nothing happens. I
think I would have. You'd have to go home and
change my pants. Yes, yeah, yeah, therapy right, the intensive therapy,
(18:11):
probably in a tropical location for an extended period of
time while I planned my lawsuit, which yeah, yeah, this
is you. I'm ready for some some slander. I think
this is absolute slander. This may be true, but I
don't like him. Iceberg Lettuce sold it. Some Taco Bell
restaurants has been linked to the explosive diarrhea outbreak the
(18:32):
word I still can't say properly. Source familiar with the investigation.
So the cases of the intestinal illness caused by microscopic
parasite are surging across the US. Taco Bell has said
that it has taken immediate action to voluntarily remove potentially
impacted lettuce from a supplier in select states. When's the
last time you went to Taco Bell and you were
worried about diarrhea? Come on, now, come on, now, I
(18:53):
know this is more dangerous than that, but I don't
want to hear it.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
That's part of the process.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
I didn't realize this was a new thing, was how
it always have to work through it.
Speaker 10 (19:05):
Like my gud is strong enough now to where it
doesn't even mess with me anymore.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
Like, wow, maybe that's what you are. You're acclimated.
Speaker 10 (19:12):
Yeah, so you you know evolution right minus this virus?
Speaker 5 (19:15):
If you know, that's incredible. What you're tummy, Your gut
is weak.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Let us.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
I never get let us.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
I take to let us out of everything because it
gets weird, especially if you have it delivered.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
Let us. It is the first thing to get weird.
I take to let us out. Take let us out.
It'll be fine.
Speaker 7 (19:28):
There's so many pieces, do you pick them one by one?
Speaker 4 (19:31):
No, I don't have it. I don't put it in.
I don't remove it from the like I say now,
no means no, that's right. Yesterday a Fanatics fest, fans
were hoping Lebron James would use the opportunity to reveal
his next NBA home and he did not do that.
Why because he's playing it out, that's what he's doing.
(19:53):
I'm sure it's gonna be some big sponsored Lebron James
Decision three brought to you by somebody who. But yeah,
we don't know yet where he's going to go. He
talked a lot about it and they didn't say anything.

(20:39):

Speaker 1 (20:42):
No, I was just saying by Hanson.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
Oh no, I don't think that's how you say that.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
I interestive thoughts one. I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Anyway, you can buy all this stuff on Amazon and
the Lego site if you want to do that. Are
you interested in I got some dumb criminal stories. We
got to get to those. But are you interested in
what life will look like in twenty one hundred experts? Well,
they've investigated life. Yeah, way to sell it.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
What I needed?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Was?
Speaker 5 (21:07):
It resounded absolutely? Fred? This is compelling content. Yes, Fred,
tell me everything.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I'm totally going to be there.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Scientists give predictions for life in the twenty one hundreds,
so yeah, none of us will be there for that. Actually,
a new study out of Sydney is helping predict what
it might look like. Experts say the global warming is
now more likely than not animals are replaced with lab
grown meat and milk cultivated chicken. That's been a proof
for sale in Singapore, in the US, and Israel. Companies
(21:37):
are producing milk proteins without cows, so basically what we're
eating fake meat. Scientists have even curated lab grown chocolate
and coffee as alternative to crops because of climate change,
So we just accepted that it might not grow anymore,
so we'll just come up with a fake version. Genes
gene editing could also be used to eliminate troublesome invasive species,
(21:58):
such as destructive pests.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
That sounds okay.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Scientists are already developing genetically engineered mosquitoes to suppress disease
carrying populations. Gene editing they could control. I don't this
all sounds I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Somebody, we were like building, just building each.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Other basically, Yeah, as opposed to taking care of the
natural resources, we're just coming up with fake ways because
we've accepted the fact that we've already destroyed it. I
could build a man, yes, you could. You have a
man who you're marrying. But but in twenty one hundred,
you know who knows that fake meat like you would? Not?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
You would. I don't know, girl. If I build a
man like I can make him rich?
Speaker 7 (22:36):
No, I mean the fake meat, oh, like the process
or like the lab grown meat.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
She's more concerned about the rich guys she's building on
the Tesla website right now. Many who cares about the
fake meat. I'll just build a new I'll build a
new woman. It'll be fine. Yeah, Minnesota nursing Minnesota nursing
homes will now have a happy hour with alcohol, thanks
to a new law passed by the governor there. The
(23:02):
measure allows assistant living homes and facilities to serve alcoholic
beverages to their residents without a retail license.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
I didn't know we needed a law for that.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
And if you were going to nursing homes and busting
their happy hours, shame on you.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
Let them have it. But now it's legal.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
And a wanted man took LAPD officers on a foot
chase before doing what anybody would do to get away
from the authorities, and that's jump in the ocean and
try and swim away because that's gonna work. And so
he swims out in the ocean and then decides to
tread water. They send lifeguards out there, not to get him,
(23:38):
but just to make sure he doesn't die.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
So he said, dude is a police helicopter.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
I saw the video yesterday police helicopter above him. He's
treading water. The cops are everywhere on the beach, and
there are two lifeguards on boards just laying there, like
I can't arrest you, but I also got to make
sure you don't drown. The man was stopped near the
Pacific Coast Highway in Sunset Boulevard, and I guess he
was going to be arrested on a felony warrant. The
guy was in the water for more than an hour,
(24:03):
treading water, hundreds of yards off shore. No word on
what felony, but I guess they finally got him. And
a twenty what's that I did that before? You tried
to run from the cops by swimming.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Yes, on Grand theft Atto, Like you so you can't anymore?
You literally jump in the water on Grand theft Atto.
Speaker 5 (24:19):
But like, where are you going to go?
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Like eventually, I mean unless you're swimming to like Asia
that I don't you know, Hawaii or something that I
don't know where you're gonna go, Like at some point
you got to turn around and come back.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
He was in a video game.
Speaker 10 (24:31):
You need a live stream of Kiki playing GTA, Well,
you love it, That's what I needed money.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
It was it was a time in the panoramic or
the pandemic. I was on it. I was a gamer.
You were a GTA Yes, yes, grant theft botto yell.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Kalyn designed a girlfriend in sims and with her Yeah,
she was similar, very similar. Twenty two year old woman
who was arrested in Mississippi for careless driving, well, completely nude.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
She's accused of being under the influence.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
It was found a possession of marijuana and several modified firearms.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
Who, yeah, that's what I that's this weekend.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I think on the way to the block party, Paulina,
I'm gonna just get naked, get all my drugs and
my modified firearms and just drive around.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
See what happens.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
The officer conductive traffic stop and notice the driver was
completely nude, and then they asked the driver to put
on close and step out of the vehicle. The woman
was arrested for duy and possession of marijuana in a
motor vehicle, possession of firearm ko was driving, and no seatbelt.
I'd be the least of my worries is the seat
The seatbelt was kind of insult to injury. Yeah, that
was the cop doing his big one. I know you
(25:34):
were naked, and you have drugs allegedly, and you were
driving drunk, and you have illegal firearms, but you also
weren't wearing your seat belt.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
Hub, dare you?
Speaker 4 (25:42):
The woman's in jail with a thirty five thousand dollars bond.
Its National Tattoo Day and National Lottery Day today as well.
The Entertainer Report will get to it next. Blogs are
audio journals after that Waiting by the Phone. He's new
and that's coming up to The French Show's.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
On Caln's Entertainment Report is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 7 (25:59):
Fans Abrams got the surprise of a lifetime last night
at our iHeart Radio studios in New York when she
surprised them with a Q and A before her album
Daughter from Hell dropped. She answered all kinds of questions
and the event was presented by Capitol One and they
just were able to really chat with her, listen to
(26:20):
some of the album and I.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Believe we Jason, did we play it last night?
Speaker 5 (26:25):
And we're playing new cuts throughout the morning too.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
Yeah, we're playing the album throughout the morning. But the
actual special you were able to.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Watch, right or was it? Yeah, across amazing.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
So yeah, I mean, I'm gonna go back and listen
if I can find that.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
And I have to listen to the album. Have you
heard any of it.
Speaker 10 (26:41):
Jason, No, I've only made it like two songs, and
so I don't have a fair review yet.
Speaker 7 (26:47):
Okay, we're we're in for a sad day.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
Treading water off the beach off the coast of California
yesterday after running from the police. Or were you the
one that was naked in the car with the illegal firearms?
Which one was? I can't have one tread water for
an hour. That's pretty good. I think you'd be a
lifeguard with that. These legs are powerful. Yeah, new knees,
honest showing up.
Speaker 7 (27:13):
Noah Khan, it just continues to be an angel on Earth.
He's thrown his support behind a new Massachusetts bill aimed
at capping ticket resale prices like other states in recent weeks.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Washington, d C.
Speaker 7 (27:24):
Just a day earlier, the governor there, Mara Healy, announced
an act relative to closing the Great Divide between ticket
prices and affordability.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
The Great Divide Act, named after Noah.
Speaker 7 (27:37):
Noah's latest album and tour, is a bill that would
like I said, limit these resale prices, bar speculative ticket sales,
and cut down on some of the fees, because you know,
you'll see a ticket price and you're like okay, girl, matha,
girl matha, and then you get all these random fees,
like a breathing fee.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Oh you wanted air in the stadium, that's going to
be extra. But yeah.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
He previously backed a similar bill in his native Verma
and is fresh off four sold out shows at Fenway Stadium.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
He's having a really good time.
Speaker 7 (28:06):
But during a press conference, the mayor was doing what
they were doing with Taylor Swift when they were arguing
about ticket prices on Capitol Hill, and they were trying
to use as many like she was trying to use
as many like Noah Khan quotes as she.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Could, like I just got a call, you know whatever.
I don't know. She was quoting him a lot.
Speaker 7 (28:23):
But it is a good bill, and I'm hoping that,
like all the states can do this because it's getting
really crazy and people are having to pick between you know,
eating for three months and going to see their favorite artists,
which is not very cool. Chris Jenner's mom, Mary Joe,
known as MJ, has passed away at ninety one years old.
I do the story because you know, the Kardashians, I
(28:44):
feel like have been in my life for so damn long,
and so has MJ. I feel like she was like
a very sweet, endearing part of the show and a
part of the family. She was always chic, and she
was always stubborn and dressed well, and you got to
see her a lot on their social and I just,
you know, feeling for the whole family. Chris said, today
we say goodbye to my beautiful mommy MJ. No words
(29:05):
could ever capture what she has meant to me or
the heartbreak of having to say goodbye. And then all
of the other siblings were posting as well. I don't
know a cause of death, but she was older but
still very very sad. She was the true matriarch of
the Kardashian family, and she actually had a clothing store
if you did not know when she was younger. And
so I think she taught a lot of them their
work ethics.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
So r I P MJ.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
I remember the day Kim Kardashian came into.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
My life, do you?
Speaker 5 (29:31):
And what was that day?
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Like?
Speaker 4 (29:32):
Remember exactly where I was standing? Yeah, I was in Austin, Texas.
We were all we were all gathered around a monitor
the size of a shopping cart, not.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Watching it with your coworkers together.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
The pixels were about, you know, a quarter each. Each
PicTel was about a quarter sized. Yeah, oh no, it was.
We had a bit of a staff meeting and this is.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Why we take all these trainings there.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Right, why this was way back in two thousand, you know,
I don't know when this was decades ago, but it was,
oh my god, look at this. Yes, and then we
all gathered around.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
I remember it was. It was an aerobic video and uh, anyway, what's.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Come from there? I mean she said a lot of things,
for sure, really proud of her.
Speaker 7 (30:17):
I gave my my family computer in the computer room,
lots of viruses trying to get that on lime wire
and not get the comple version.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
But that was a time to be alive.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
If you know, you know.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
And then like if that.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
Song would play in the radio, I would think there
were those parts in the song, so I'd like say
them and people like, what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (30:35):
And I'm like, oh, there was more annoying in the
lime wire napster days. When you download a song and
that you're like, oh, I got a clean one, and
then right in the middle of DJRA.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Whould you find this my favorite one?
Speaker 5 (30:49):
But damn girl, where'd you find that?
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Some people have no idea what we're talking about, and
I love that for them.
Speaker 7 (30:56):
If you want to get do anything from the show
this week, any week, really, the iHeartRadio app is always
where you can do that. It's always free to search
the Fread Show on demand.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Touch yeah, they talk better than they excited. Tell me
these are the radio blogs on the Fread Show.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
Good morning.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
It's like for writing in our diaries, except we say
them aloud. We call them blogs. kikiS got one.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Go yes, sir, dear blog.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
I just want to send thoughts and prayers to all
of the homeowners in the world. You know, it starts
out as this goal that you have in your life,
and you're so excited you get your home, you love
your home.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
But then I think at some point this may happen
to everyone.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
You realize that there is no landlord to call, like
you are the landlord and I am the landlord.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Okay, as I like to remind people all the time,
and everyone in.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
My home this is my house, period yeah, And now
I'm like, oh, this is my house because everything seems
to happen all at once, and it's not even like
really big problems. It's just small inconveniences that have just
happened all in a row. We've had a lot of
storms late or like recently, and so I got trees
down everywhere. We got a little roof damage going on
(32:06):
all of a sudden, and now I feel like I
need to redo my entire like lawn care situation because
of the trees that have come down.
Speaker 5 (32:15):
And what are you thinking, like a desert landscape? What
do you know?
Speaker 2 (32:17):
It?
Speaker 5 (32:18):
Really?
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yes, I need the rocks I need.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
I have twelve bags of mulch right now in my garage,
Like who am I do?
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Like somebody don't want to.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
Go buy mulch? Just learn what it was.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
It's a mess, Jason, it's a mess.
Speaker 10 (32:33):
It's heavy, it is I don't want to touch it.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
It's dirty. Then I went to I went to a store.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
You better start paying around here. It's definitely not home depot,
but you better you better start paying. You want a
specific mention.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
I went to a store there rhymes with slow newpole
the wrong color, which I didn't even know. It was like,
you know, somebody told me go get red Moulch about
the red molch. Yes, I brought it back. My brother
in law's like, that is not the right rad molch.
That is not going to do it. So we not
(33:11):
you know me, I'm just a supervisor. But Timothy, I
had to lug back to the store twelve minutes coach,
go get the right I'm like, who are we?
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Like what if?
Speaker 2 (33:21):
No?
Speaker 5 (33:21):
Yeh. Home ownership's not for the fainting.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
It is.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
It is a wild ride and one home improvement project
turns into thirty five it does. Yes, it's never you
never just stop at fixing the kitchen cabinet. Now you
need to repaint everything and I need a new soul.
This is so much, guys, So just stops and prayers
to anyone dealing with home improvement task.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Yeah every day.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Yeah, yeah, it's not for the faint of part. I
got a text the other day for I live in
a building that has a bunch of units like a
high rise, and they have maintenance in the building and
they can go access the key to my unit if
they need to go in there for some reason, and
it said like key request, like email like, no context.
Speaker 5 (33:59):
Maintenance needs access to your unit.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
I'm on a boat Friday night in Miami, sweating my
ass off, and so I called the ceremony. I had
to start you. It's like, call the front desk. I'm like,
can I have any context as to while you're going
in there? Oh yeah, we think it's flooded. Oh what
with somewhere between Flor's this and this. We think there's
a complete flood. We don't know if it's yours, We'll
let you know. WHOA Oh, that's just minor.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
That's cool.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
It turns out it wasn't mine. It was nobody's. It
was something in that I don't know, shaft somewhere or
something I don't know. But it's like, you know, for momentarily,
I'm like, great, so we're starting over again. I get back.
I have nothing. I just I guess my house is flooded. Now, Yes, the.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
Stress, the stress of it all, and it's it's really,
you know, a luxury to even have it and be
able to complain about it. But it's just like, my goodness,
I understand now why when I was a child, my
brother in law and my uncle would go to that
store I mentioned and be there for literally three to
four hours, which one Rover Repo.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
Mult yourself with.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
Absolutely you don't think I can't. I didn't say you couldn't.
I said you're not.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
I want to see you out there gardening in the mulch.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Girl, I just learned about a mulch tarp. Like you
need to lay down some type of tarp.
Speaker 10 (35:13):
You don't need to know, Jasons. Yeah, yeah, you don't
need to. But I'm just the carrier. So like I
just throw the bags of vult and opened them and
get them to You're like.
Speaker 6 (35:23):
The kid slash light when your dad's like a splash light.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Yeah, like hold this, you.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Know I need ult actually, Like I so if you
got extras.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Like that's how broadly are you?
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Guys?
Speaker 6 (35:33):
Like I hate doing any yard where any of this terrible.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
I hate everything. I hate house ownership. At this point, you.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Can go you can go to Dover LiPo and you
can get it myself.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I don't think so right, It's.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Like the brand names are now scrambled now until they
start paying, I'll say, I'll say yeah, because no one
knows what we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
Absolutely no.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
There's a story that rhymes with wolves that I love
my wolves.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
Whoa, you could go there too.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
And I guess no one knows what we're talking about,
but the secrets as soon as they pay more Fred
