Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the French Show, It's the French Show. Good
Morningdow three five Kiss FM, Chicago's number one eight music station.
Kelly from La Motte won the trip to see Harry
Styles in Sydney, Australia. The excitement level was it wasn't
quite what we were, you know, it was it was okay,
it was it was it was. She was done. I
(00:21):
think it's what it was, right, she was. She was
stunned to speak. Yeah, yeah, which is you know, understandable.
I can you give me a trip to Australia, I'd
probably That's how I reacted when I found out I
was going to Poland. I was speechless. I couldn't say word,
I couldn't say where, and then they took it away.
Then you're not, and then apparently I am again. I
(00:41):
don't know, but I'm very excited. When I see the ticket,
I will confirm and then we can start talking about,
you know, what I should do and where I should go.
But yes, the country of Poland. You know it's true.
The country, No, it's true, then they're pain. The country
of Poland has invited me to a end.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
The country of Poland.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
They have It's so exciting yeah, I heard they want
you to put you know, potentially live there.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
But that's what I heard.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
They want to yea, they want to well, I mean
Polish lim and are beautiful. I might be interested that one. Hey,
who do you think I'm talking about? You know, if
you weren't married, if you know it, you're on my rind.
And he's not Polish. A lot of people think that
she is. Kik's on my last and a lot of
people are like, it's it's actually I've seen people just
(01:30):
beside themselves and they find out that she's not Polish.
But she's always eating parogi's, you know, and it's like
she's always got my girl. No, but it's like you
must be from Poland and it's like, no, no, but
I'm not. I'm from Northwest Indiana. But yeah, yeah, that's
what she's always saying. But anyway, so we're very excited
(01:50):
for it. Was it Kelly from Lamont? Yes, okay, but
we have another trip. We got another one coming up.
Jason Brown had a lot of time during his knee
surgery recovery to book trips for this show. Sit here
and find trips, and I'm excited about that because we
need all the help we can get. Its very competitive
these days, so listen to us. Sometime this week we'll
be announcing the next trip. I think that people will
(02:11):
be very excited about this. Yes, it may be a
little easier, okay too, Yeah, No, you don't have to
like tap your head and then do like circling motions
on your stomach, doing downward dog and while also yeah,
writing while also doing a glute bridge and a burpie
and then reading a sentence written by our boss about
Harry stylesand sequence. You won't have. It'll be a little
(02:32):
bit simpler execution than that, But we're learning as we go. Wait, wait, wait,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Like to pay taxes? Is there another option?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
You don't see? Get fifty million dollars in his three
What least.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
That's the least surprising information I've heard this morning, is
that you don't like to pay taxes. Fred's show is
I'm going to shout out for Julie and Jamie Caylan
basketball undefeated playing in the super sectional tonight. Oh, it's
a super sectional for such. Also, Calen, you're a big gambler,
(03:20):
big sports gambler. How about how about Miami of Ohio
undefeated season? How about that. Never saw it coming.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Never my sister almost went there, but shout out to
Miami of Ohio.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Maybe if she had gone that they wouldn't be undefeated.
I don't know. She would have been so distracting to
the players. And oh yeah, maybe maybe that's what happened. Yeah,
I don't know a favor, but I was on the
edge of my seat. Overtime win Miami of Ohio, undefeated. Wow,
I know Jason's confused right now. He's new to the
(03:51):
he's learning about Ohio, he's learning about it. Our show expands,
he's learning about it. And I knew as soon as
I said that, he looked at me, like, fred, I
don't think that's right. No, it's right, it's right Ohio. Yeah,
it's exciting though, undefeated.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
The beach is there.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
In Miami of Ohio. That's what I've heard. That's what
I've heard. But no, it's it's a big deal. And
then they almost and it came down to the wire
over the weekend. I was watching that and they almost
you know, would have been something. But it's Hey, it's March,
isn't it. It's March, and what is that? What does
that mean to you? Right? Excellent, Jason brod Our, sports reporter,
(04:27):
We finished my bracket. Yeah yeah, we're getting really close
to that. And you're exactly the kind of guy that
would win the bracket. In the office, You're the guy here,
you know, the people that sit around and there like
they really think about it, and the ohio looking at
stats and records and all these things that that never
works right exactly. But Jason's the kind of guy that
(04:49):
would win because he would pick based on like his
favorite mascots. Yeah. Yeah, it's Monday, March snife. Good morning everyone,
So glad you hear Hi Kylin, Hi, Jason Brown, Hi, Paulin,
Hi Kekiy Marnin, Shoby Shelley eight hundred bucks in the showdown.
You can win it about twenty minutes if you beat
her in five questions. Bellahamin. He's here on the phone
and the text is always eight five five five nine
(05:09):
one three five waiting by the phone. Why didn't somebody
get ghosted? We'll get to it in just a second.
The Entertainment Report and blogs are coming up. What are
you working? OK?
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Who I'm gonna need you guys to get the tissues
ready because the late James Vanderbeek's daughter, Oh Boy, nine
years old, asked her mama if she could post a
video talking about her grief since he has been gone,
and I want to play you a little bit.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
I skipped right over this this morning.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
We're gonna do it anyway. Tell them about it. Yeah,
they talk better than they tell me. These are the
radio blogs on the Fred Show. It's like we're running
in our diiaries, except we say them aloud. We call
him blogs Kiki. Yeah you got one, go all right.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Dear blog.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
So over the weekend, I got a chance to fulfill
one of my childhood dreams, which well two of them actually.
One was I ended up in a hotel with a
microwave and refrigerator in my room.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah you have to ask for it.
Speaker 6 (06:03):
I did not.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
It was just there.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I know how much refrigeration and microwaving did you do?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I didn't, but you had the option, and that's what
made you feel good. It made me feel so good.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Okay, I wasn't even supposed to be there anyway, that's
beside the story. But another childhood dream of mine was
to always, whenever I got married, go to this wedding
boutique in New York called clin Feels. If you know
you have watched the show, say Yes to the Dress?
Are very own Jason, say yes to the dress.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I'm familiar with that story.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yes and you said yes to the dress.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
It is a famous show that I think we all
watched on repeat for our entire lives in childhood. And
so it's like where all the eight girls go to
find their wedding dress. So I just happened to be
in New York for some other stuff and I was like, Hey,
I'm going to go to clent Feils by myself. So
low I made the little bridal appointment. They said, how
many coming with you?
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I'm like zero.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I felt so pitiful.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
But when I pulled up, it is everything you see
on TV like it is it is. It is a
Disney World for brides. So you walk in and everybody's rich, right,
everybody in the store is rich. So you walk in
and there's me and I got my little chine coat on.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
And I'll be honest with you. You may be rich,
but you look rich. Play the part.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
So I roll up and they walk you in and
they're like, okay, let me get you set up with
your bridal attendance or whatever. So they come out and
they come in shout out to my girls. They were amazing.
So they take me back in the room and you know,
I'm a plus sized bride. So I'm like, now let
me see what Client Field got for the plus size girls,
because sometimes they try to put us in like these
little gown like just you look a mess. So I'm
(07:46):
see what they're gonna bring you in, like you know
those like smocks, like you just always look terrible.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
They put you in a smock.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yes, so hey, they they come and I'm like, let
me see what they're giving. I'm ready to drag.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Now.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
They come out and these dresses are beautiful. And before
they even pull the dress, they asked you, and they
should do this on the show too, what is your budget?
Speaker 7 (08:09):
Now?
Speaker 3 (08:09):
As a kid, when I watched and the girls, they
would say what's your budget? If you said anything less
than ten grand, I was like, oh you bro, girl,
you have no business there.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
I knew when I walked in.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
I was like, when they asked that question, I'm just
going to say there is no budget. That's really, there
is no budget.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
The budget does not exact. I was going to ask
you is if they're like they have to be like
real estate agents where you're like, what's your budget, You're
like two hundred and fifty grand. They're showing you houses
that like a million bucks, so you can see what
you can't afford, you know, and you're like, well, maybe
I could make this work. No, I was just I
was wondering if they bring out like, you know, diamond
study stuff that was a million bucks.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
So I went in there and I said no budget,
but I was meaning like like, there really is no
budget for this. But I'm here like there's actually no budget,
no money. They interpreted that as money is no object.
What you were really saying to them is I don't
have any money, So you weren't lying. No, I was
trying to be honest, but I also wanted to see
the best of what they have, you know, and they
(09:08):
really pulled it out, and it was just so when
you walk in there, it's it's total sales MANI you know,
because everybody's like, oh my god, you're like a princess.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
People you don't know come out.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Of random that is so beautiful, breathtaking, you know, it
wouldn't know.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
What they're doing, Yes, what was the most expensive dress
they brought out.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
I think it was a dress for like ten thousand dollars,
which was made by the star of the show. His
name is Randy There he was not there, but yes,
he has his own dress line.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Is that a lot for a wedding dress? I don't know?
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Oh my god, Oh yeah, yeah, that's a lie.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
No. I know that sounds stupid, but like my weddings
are expensive, so I don't I don't know what a
lot for what ten grand would be a high very?
Is that very high end? Or yeah? Is it like
anything else where? You can go nuts if you want to.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
I mean you can if you want to, but I
think most people can't.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
What do you think what? I'm gonna look it up
because I'm just curious. I have no perspective.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
I would say like two or under is like probably yeah,
but did they jack you up which means they add
the veil?
Speaker 2 (10:04):
No, so they didn't jack me up because.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Twenty one hundred bucks it's the average The average wedding
dress cost in twenty twenty five is approximately twenty one
hundred dollars. That's pretty good, which sounds like that sounds
like what you should be I don't know, but ten
sounds like a lot for a dress that you are
more than likely only going to it one time direct
But they get.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
You with Okay, the dress will be five thousand, but
the alterations are another five thousand. And you know, they
kept telling me, girl, you can customize because I was like,
I love the tobement this dress.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I like the bottom of that.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
I'm buying a dress for five thousand dollars and it
cost me five thousand to make it look good on me.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Oh that's how they get it's expensive.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Why don't you just make me address? Then? Why don't
Why don't we skip the initial five grand and then
you make me address for five grands exactly.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Don't get a tailored there either, Like we can find you,
like you.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Know, I got a little lady who will do it.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Gotta yeah, yeah, I got a guy too. His name
is Harmando.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
It's great, right, yes, just anybody, but then please yes.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
But this was a This was a big milestone on
my little bridle checklist because client fails is just it's iconic.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Did you go for the experience or will you buy
a dress from them?
Speaker 8 (11:08):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Absolutely not. I went for the experience.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yea and with the crew, you know, because they want
you to bring your family in and you know it's
it's a whole deal.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
But because they need all of those people to pay
for the dress, they need a full on go fund
to get the money.
Speaker 6 (11:24):
Out of you.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
You know what you want?
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yes, now I have an idea of what I actually
like in a wedding dress. So now it really begins.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
And why didn't you want to put the veil? And
you wanted to wait for that moment? I? Yeah, I
wanted to wait for that moment.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
So is it like a lot of shopping experiences where
I should say, like poor shopping experiences where they bring
stuff out You're like you think I would wear that?
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Or do they do?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
They do? They get it right? Because you know, like
sometimes you'll go to a department store or something and
I know they're just doing their jobs, but you'll be like, hey,
you know, I'm trying this and that, and then they'll
like bring you like a tou tou? What what made
you think I'm shopping for your jeans?
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Like?
Speaker 1 (12:02):
What made you think that I wanted this? And then
that Honestly, that always backfires with me because then I'm like,
you know, you're not really paying any attention. First of all,
I were an excel in two too, not a medium.
So that's the first thing, right, exactly like that. I
can't even get this around this too too around my leg. Okay,
so that's I'm offended now. But I was just curious,
(12:22):
like if they so they listened to you and they
brought you options that you would actually like, because I've
watched the show before and I don't know if they
do it on purpose or what mugi were on the show,
but do they bring out ugly ones like just or.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
Try to establish like a baseline like and sometimes I
think I remember our Diane ladies saying like, well, you
don't know you don't like something until you see it on,
so let's go like full right, and then you might
like it, or it might spark something else or another
idea or something like that. And now would the bride
I was with decide to go with the red dress?
Probably not, but like you try it on just to see,
(12:56):
you know, like House.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Cuntrist where they've already chosen the dress before they go in. No, No,
I'm sorry if I ruined house Hunters for you. House
house Hunters, they've already bought the house before they, which
is funny because then you got to go on house Hunters,
you got to go into the house you bought, and
then you got to you gotta trash it. My kind
this house is ugly, you know, because you got to
find positives and negatives about all three houses that would
(13:17):
be weird to go into the house I just bought
and be like, man, we should tear this thing down.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Try to make you like the sassy yay or something like.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
This is not It's more of like the TV side
of stuff they want, like I would never weary to
put a tier on, but like it was me and
a Tierra, you knowe.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
The mean gay. But yeah, that was more for like
fluffing it for TV.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
You know.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
You know, the show was still filming, but they barely are.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
And when I walked out, there were camera crews outside
and they kept trying to get me into the big
area where everyone is filming or whatever. They kept saying like,
if you want to go out there, we can go
out there, we can go out there. I'm like, girl, No,
You're like what do you know?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
What do you get? Like for being on the show,
do you get a discount on the dress.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
I don't believe, so so you just you just bragging rights.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
Okay, you get to be on the show and then
they pick one bride out of every episode. I guess
where they film your wedding. So that's a pretty cool
like momento. You get this like, you know, professionally filmed,
you know, thing on TV of your wedding. But yeah, no,
I was in there for twelve fourteen hours. That's how
I had some lacroix of starving.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
I don't teach you. There's no catering like I was, like,
no sub sandwich, Give me like a Panera box, give
me like a Jimmy something. Oh wow, I'm not doing it.
Bring a lunch. When I go on, say yes to
the dress. I'm negotiating a catering budget. I was starving. Wow,
(14:41):
it was a cool experience. I'm happy for you. Yeah,
so you got to do it. Yeah, so you're gonna
go back with family even though you're not going to
buy the dress there? Yeah, okay, why not? Come on?
Why not? Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's
the Fred Show. Hey, Caitlyn, good morning, Welcome to the show.
(15:02):
How are you, good morning? I'm okay, how are you
doing great. Trying to help you out though with this
guy Derek. So this is someone you met in a
bar a few weeks ago, and then what happened?
Speaker 8 (15:14):
Yeah, so we hung out like the whole night when
we met in the bar. We even ended up back
at his place. And I don't know, Like I really
don't know what happened. Like I thought we would have
been like dating by now, planning our wedding and our
future kids.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Like, oh wow, So it was like that, like you
you went on this date and you could envision the future.
Speaker 8 (15:35):
Yeah, it was a great night. We spent the whole
entire night together.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
But you didn't tell him that, did you on the date?
Like I envisioned my entire future with you, Like you
didn't talk about the kids. You're gonna have his stuff
on the first date? Okay, all right, So you went
on this great date and you liked him obviously, and
you were hoping to see him again and see where
things went. But you haven't heard from him since the date,
and I have you reached out to him? Have you
texted or called him at all?
Speaker 8 (15:57):
I tried to, but like he's not responding, and I
just I feel like it's really odd, like I don't
know what happened.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Well, as Tolina would say on waiting by the phone,
it's tail so old as time, because you know, you
go out with somebody. Dating is tough. Everyone who's dating
right now knows that. And then you finally connect with
somebody and you're thinking, this is great, finally we finally,
you know, all my hard work is paid off, and
all the bad dates I've been on, and then and
then you go out with someone you like and they
don't call you back. So let's let's call this guy Derek.
(16:24):
You'll be on the phone at the same time. We'll
ask him questions and hopefully we can figure out what's
going on and set you guys up on another date
that we pay for. Sound good?
Speaker 8 (16:30):
Sound great?
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Hey? Cayln. Yeah, And by the way, she spells a
K A y L y n n, which is one
of the many spellings of Caylin that I've seen over
the past what seven eight years, Caylen. Yes, in addition
to Caitlin and Courtney and Steve and Bob and everything else.
Speaker 9 (16:46):
They call you.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yeah, they called me Bob. I was going to ask,
so thank you for asking.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
How she's supposed to Yeah, Yeah, she's Caitlin. Is a
k A E L I N for real? But then
k A Y L y N. Anyway, I just wanted
to specify because you don't see that name every day.
But let's call this guy Derek. You met at a bar,
you went out, you had a great time, you were
hoping to see him again. Except he's ghosted you, it appears,
and you want to know why, right, Kaitln, Yes, I
need to know why. All right, let's call him now?
(17:10):
Good luck, gloat. Hi is this Derek? Hey Derek, good morning.
My name is Fred. I'm calling for the Fred's Show,
the Morning radio Show, and I do have to tell
you that we are on the radio right now, and
I would need your permission to continue with the call.
Can which chat for just a second on the show?
(17:32):
Would you mind? It's just like a gotcha thing or something.
I don't I wouldn't say that necessarily doesn't have to
be I got you a thing, but I'm gonna take
that as a yes. So we're calling on behalf of
someone named Kaylin, who I guess you met recently. He
went on a date. Do you remember her? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
(17:53):
And by the way, you can hang up anytime. If
you're uncomfortable, you can hang up any time. But so
she called us and told us about you. You had
a lot of nice things to say about you and
the date. It was really optimistic about the future. Except
for whatever reason. She says, you're not calling her back,
So what's up with that? Yeah, she's just gross. I'm sorry.
It was just a really bad night.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
And I don't know what she said, but she lets
just say she got really drunk, really sloppy, and she
threw up all over me in my house and.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Like I I was just it was a mess.
Speaker 9 (18:26):
And honestly, I had to pay for it. She didn't
even she didn't even offer to pay for it.
Speaker 7 (18:31):
She was too drunk for that. I sent her home
on a cab. I was just like, yeah, yeah, I'll
talk to you later. But I wasn't planning to ever
hear talk or see her again. So she needs to
learn how to use a toilet and be properly toilet trained.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
On the floor KLN, Derek, there's the gatcha part time.
I thought I just get into these stories. I forget.
I have two things. First of all, Derek, about twenty
minutes ago, you said, let's just say, and then you
told the whole story. Normally people would let's just let's
just say they abbreviate. But I'm glad you told us everything.
(19:12):
And the second thing is I've been there. I've had
someone throw up in my home and then so so
now I'm hungover going to the store to buy the
carpet cleaner, and now my homeover ass is trying to
clean the nasty puke, and then I don't feel good
and it's really grows and it's really discussing to have
to clean up somebody else's we'll call it excrement or
(19:32):
you know, like whatever it comes out of their body.
It's gross if you know the person in love them.
It's especially gross if you don't.
Speaker 9 (19:40):
Yeah, I was turned off like from that right there.
I was just like, I'll never I never want to
I'm not going to kiss you. She tried to kiss me,
and I'm just like.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's smooth. And the whole thing is
it's very hard. It's very hard to caln what happened.
I mean, I obviously you got too drunk, but like,
why didn't how were you not able to make it
to the bathroom? Why are we try to kiss him afterwards,
like what are we doing here? You know, like it.
Speaker 8 (20:05):
Happens, It wasn't on purpose, like nobody wants to get sick,
and like I helped clean it up.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
You did not knew you thought you did, but you're
too druk to remember. I sent you home.
Speaker 9 (20:18):
You tried to clean it up by taking out a
tissue and your cursing.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Hey, let me clean this up, seem this is what
you needed to do. What you needed to do is
attempt to clean it up as best you can all
by yourself, and that well, what you needed to do
is get to the bathroom. But that's okay, so you didn't,
So then you got to clean it up. And that
what you got to do is the next day you
got to send somebody over there to clean it, you
know what I mean, Like you got to if you
(20:43):
really like this guy, and that happens, and you know,
unfortunate things happen. You got to go over the top
to make this better. And it sounds like you just
kind of did it and then eh, and then last
and then wonder why he and then tried to kiss him,
and then wondered why he didn't call you like you
got to fix it.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I remember that.
Speaker 8 (21:00):
I remember being on my hands and knees like I
would clean it up.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
I think something. You think I had somebody to throw
up in my bed once? That was a gross nice
It's sad as to that woman, she cleaned everything, like
she she said, get out of the bed, and then
she like took all the sheets, and she like found
my dryer and washed and dryer and she cleaned it.
And then she offered to have somebody come over. And
then she sent me a bunch of cleaning supplies and
a cookie basket.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Did you ever see her again?
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Well, yeah, but not in that capacity, so yeah no.
But anyway, I mean what I'm saying is I felt
bad for her the way that I would feel bad
for Kaylin and obviously for Derek. But like she went
over the top to make it right, like in a
very cute way because she felt bad. And that's the
part that I think you needed to do here, Kaylen,
if you really like this guy.
Speaker 8 (21:49):
I just feel like I tried my best for what
I had at the moment.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Like next day, no drinks, Okay, there you go, So
how about that? How about that next date? No drinks?
Would you give her another chance, because it sounded like
everything was going well. I mean she did wind it
back at your place in fairness, No, of course not.
Speaker 9 (22:06):
I'm sorry, Galen, but there's a no go.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
You know there's a no go.
Speaker 8 (22:11):
Okay, Gay, I tried.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
I don't think you did. I don't think you tried
hard enough for a guy that you really really wanted
to see again. But anyway, and now he's left with
this bad taste in his mouth, no pun intended, and
he's not going to forget it. So I feel bad
for you, but it's not going to work out. Guys,
thank you both for your time. Best of luck out there.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
I thanks guys.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Calin's entertainment report is on The Freas Show.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
Pritney Spears could potentially face jail time after her recent
DUI arrest if pills found in her possession test positive
for illegal substances. Pills believed to be a erall were
found when she was arrested in California last week, and
they're now being tested to determine if they contain other
drugs like fentanyl, cocaine, or meth. Authorready say this is
(22:55):
her first DUI and normally jail time wouldn't be expected. However,
if the testing shows contain additional narcotics, a judge could
decide to impose jail as part of the sentence. By
the way, the arrest will not affect the upcoming biopic
about her life.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
It's called The Woman in Me.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
I don't know why it would, but people saw some
people wondering about that online.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Nine year old and this is You're gonna need maybe
some Kleenex for this next one.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
But nine year old's Amelia Vanderbeek, the daughter of late
actor James Vanderbeek, asked her mama Kimberly, if she could
share a message on her dad's birthday about her grief
journey thus far to her Instagram and here's in part
what she said.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
Hello, my name is Amelia Vanderbeek, and as you will know,
probably know, my dad has passed away. But I'm just
going to tell you a little tips or anything that
(23:57):
helps you getting through. Anybody love is passing. So today
is my dad's birthday, and.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
The number one.
Speaker 6 (24:10):
Thing for somebody's passing is to talk to them and
let your emotions out. If you miss them, you can cry,
you can talk to them. I talk to my dad
every day. And I start with a sentence and I say, Hi, Dad,
(24:33):
I miss you and I love you so much and
I'll never stop loving you.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
Nine years old, nine years old, so wise and wanting
to going through that, and wanting to share that with
people online to give them tips to how to go
through that. She is one of his six children, but
just they did clearly an amazing job with her. And
I'm so glad that, like in this day and age,
even at that age, there's no shame in talking about
this to other people, sharing.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Absolutely what she's going through. I lost my mom at nine,
so I just remember being in that place and how
you feel. And she's so brave, you know, to share
how she's feeling it and help other people get through it.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
So very composed too, I mean a lot of maturity
for a nine year old.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Yeah, yeah, super sweet.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Moving on to a little smut before we have to go, Marie,
have us some smoke, Yes, I know, while you're drying
your eyes. Miranda Lambert and Casey Musgraves may finally be
ending a long rumored feud. Fans think it could lead
to some new music. I guess maybe the two Texas
born singers have known each other since their early music days,
and Casey even helped write Miranda's hit Mama's Broken Heart.
(25:37):
But despite their shared history, they hadn't worked together for years,
and they were rumored to have tension between them.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
And they both sound like very nice ladies from what
I've heard.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
But recently, Casey posted the song's video on Instagram and
admitted she had talked about Miranda behind her back, writing
that she had said some things about her. Miranda responded
by reposting it and joking that the feeling went both ways,
saying she'd done her fair sh share of spit talking
to in the exchange heads fans wondering if they are,
you know, back on better terms and the collab is coming,
(26:07):
by the way, I did see that. A little bit ago,
Casey posted and Instagram video zoomed in on her cute
little butt as she was walking in some silver pants,
writing you up with a snippet of her new song
called dry Spell and that sounds really good as well.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
But yeah, maybe some new music from those ladies.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
And if you want to watch us go live throughout
the show, you can always do so on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Just type the type fread show radio. Right, we have
a lot of different places.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
We got a lot of different places. iHeart YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram,
x Prodigy, Coffee Serve, and AOL search for the Fred Show. Ada,
don't look on me? Can you even do AOL anymore?
A message? You want to put some song lyrics from
Dashboard Confessional on your way lyrics? Yes?
Speaker 4 (26:52):
And I wanted to, like, I wish we could do
this with work, like just I need a minute and
then I'd put a really dramatic EMO lyric and then
they'd know when I come back, I'm ready.
Speaker 7 (27:01):
You know.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
There was something very exciting about coming back from class.
You know, this is my college days. It was probably
your high school, grade school days. But coming back and
seeing like if my crush send me a d M,
you know, or an instant mean aim and.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
When they would leave that door slam and broken heart
if they.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Didn't say yes, or they would open Oh here we go?
Was my crush?
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Hoot Yep, that was my crush. Okay, his name is Josh.
I don't know where you got that from.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Its like, Bobby's ready to take on show, Shelley.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
It's Bobby, He's always ready.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Bobby's always hey, Shelley, Bobby's always ready for you.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Love Bobby, Hey, Bobby, Hey, are.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
You watching Love his blinder? Is it just read?
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (27:46):
I am.
Speaker 10 (27:46):
But here's the problem is, I'm just I'm behind. I'm
on like the second or third episode. But I love
to talk about it with you, like you got.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Something else to do with Shelley. Like you guys don't
have multiple radio shows. You act like you don't know
you had nothing to do. And I have a very
busy day, and I still find a way between ordering
door dash yeah and taking naps. I still I find
a way. I know, I know, And I was even
(28:13):
sick this weekend and I still focus.
Speaker 10 (28:16):
Oh man, bless you. Yeah, No, I really, I let's
talk about I would love to. I just I can't
talk about it too extensive.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
We'll hurry up and get caught up because the reunion
comes out on Wednesday. It's very important that we all
watch this together. Got it? What's the guy's name? I
can't stand I can't remember his Oh I hate him
so much. I punched him in this. I punched him
in his smug, too many word using face.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Somebody said, wait till you learn about Davante. Oh, but
what did Davante. Do they staying on YouTube?
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Davante? Isn't he the UK? He might be the UK season?
What did he do? I don't know the UK people.
I generally I like him better. But we'll see, all right,
we got to come back into Bobby versus Shelley eight
hundred bucks in the show bit, Shelley showed out and
we're playing. Next, we'll get to Key Keys Court.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
