Hey, Charlotte, Yeah, good morning, welcome to the little program here.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
What's going on with this guy? Noah?

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Tell us how you met about any dates that you've
been on and then how we can help.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Yeah, so okay, I met Noah Bumble and you precided.
He finally asked me out, and everything just it seemed
like day to day it was just getting better and better.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Like the text, the phone calls.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
To our actual first date, and I just I really
really connected with him. I really liked him, and even
when I told my friends that I think that he
could actually beat the one.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Oh wow, So this is before you met or on
the date.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
This is after the date.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Okay, so after the date you're thinking, all right, you know,
the conversation ahead of time, the date itself, this guy,
this could be something, you know, significant.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, Like, I mean.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
There was just this chemistry, this connection. I just hadn't
experienced anything like this before, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
this seems like a supernatural or something, and so yeah,
it was amazing. And then it's like he's just like
disappeared into thin air, like there's just nothing. I've tried
reaching out to him, and I'm actually scared if something's

(02:24):
happened to him. So that's why I was hoping that
you guys can reach out, because I'm hoping I'm not
being ghosted. But I'm actually I'm more concerned that there's
something wrong.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Okay, he's not.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Okay, okay, because you've tried to get a hold of him.
You know, you're hoping to plan another date. I mean,
clearly you think this guy might be the one, and
yet yeah responding to you at all. So all right,
let's see if we can get him on the phone.
You'll be on the phone too, and hopefully we can
straighten this out, figure out what's going on. Maybe there's
a good explanation and set you guys up on another
date that we pay for.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
That would be great. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
You got it, Charlotte, And to play one song, we'll
come back and do it. Hang on, great, Charlotte, Yes,
welcome back. Let's call Noah. You guys met on Bumble,
the dating app. You talked for a while on the
app and chatted and whatever, and then you went on
this date. And after the date, you're telling your friends
this is something, this is special like this guy. You
even use the term the one. He might be the one. Yeah, yeah,

(03:16):
that's a lot. I mean, that's a big deal. How
many times have you said that before? By the way,
how many times I've never said.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
I've never said this before. That's why this is so crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Well, that's what I'm curious about, Like if you feel
this way all the time, or if this was like, really,
oh my gosh, this is something out of the ordinary.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
No, I just never connected with anyone like this ever.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
But except now, he's not calling all of a sudden,
and you want to know why. So let's call Noah now,
good luck, thank you. Hello, Hi is just Noah. Yes,
it is Noah. Good morning. My name is Fred calling

(03:56):
from the Freend's show. The whole crew is here. I'm
sorry to bother, but I do have to tell you
that we all are on the radio right now, and
I would need your permission to continue with the call.
Can we chat for a couple of minutes? Won't take
too much time? Okay, I guess, I know. I know
it's a little bit strange, but thank you so much
for your time. We're calling on behalf of a woman
named Charlotte says she met you on Bumble and you

(04:16):
guys recently went out.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Uh yeah, yeah, yes did.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Okay, So she called us and told us that she
really liked you, like meeting you, felt strongly about you
after the date and said she can't get a hold
of you. Was actually worried about your well being because
she says that you're not responding to anything.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
What's going on? Okay, Well.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
I'm fine, that's definitely not the issue. I got a
little bit weirded out after the date. Like during the date,
like it went fine, you know, we hit it off.
But a couple of days later she asked what I
was up to, and I told her I was just

(04:58):
about to go to the GM to work out. A
few minutes later, as I'm getting there, I see her
already at the gym. Okay, and it was just weird.
It sounds like it seems like she was waiting for me.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Okay, you've never seen her there before, I assume, because
if you had, maybe you Okay, so you've never seen
the woman at the gym. You tell her you're going
to the gym, and it just so happens out of nowhere,
here she is, here's Charlotte working out same time. Oh
my gosh, I can't believe it. Did you guys talk?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah for for a moment.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
I just got kind of got weirded out though that, Like,
you know, she was.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
There and oh, you're saying that we can't go to
the same gym person it gets to work out.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that part that Charlotte's here,
So Noah, I mean, you've never seen her there before.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
So is it possible.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Is it possible she is a member and was also
going to the gym and didn't realize it was the
same place.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Is that possible? Obviously that is possible. But I asked
the guy.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
At the desk if you had been there before, Charlotte,
and he said, oh, no, no, she just got a
one day past today.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
You asked the front desk about me.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Okay, that's kind of creepy. So here's Noah going, wait
a minute, this is weird. I just told this girl
I'm going to the gym. She's at the same gym.
I've never seen her there before, and so you, I
guess you knew somebody or whatever, and you're like, Hey,
what's up with her? And oh, yeah, she's nice. She
just she's only here for the day. I mean, one
of the odds, Charlotte, Come on, I.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Could work out any gym I feel like. But who's
to say that only one person can belong.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
To a gym.

Speaker 5 (06:52):
I mean, that's that's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I mean, yeah, but you don't belong to that gym.
I can't believe you did research on me like that.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Okay, So you joined the gym knowing that he would
be there. You went there knowing that he would be
there and that you would run into him. I mean,
that's what happened.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
I didn't join the gym.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
I got a one day pass, okay, But you went
there knowing that you were going to run into him.
That was the only reason that you win.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Look, I like to work out.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
I'd been curious about that gym, so I kind of thought,
you know what, killed two birds with one stone.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I can try out the new.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Gym and then maybe maybe we could chat.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
But you could have just told him that. I mean
you could have been like, hey, you mentioned your gym
the other day on the date I think I'm going
to go check it out. I mean you could have
said that, and then if that's the case, and then
it wouldn't this all wouldn't be happening because now what
it looks I mean, you know what it looks like.
It looks like some stalker stuff, like like you weren't
getting the response you wanted from him, so you show
up to where you knew he would be, which I

(07:48):
can be a little unnerving.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I just think that I am not a stalker. None
of this is coming out as planned at all.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
That's the thing like when people do stuff like this,
I don't know what you think the outcome is going
to be. Like I suppose he could have been excited
to see you and then it goes from there. But
there's a very good chance that this is all going
to come out this way. And then it's like, I
don't know how you.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I don't know how you recover.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Really this is you know, every now and again we
hear these about these moves or I'm thinking there's a
very small likelihood of this working out the way that
you wanted to. But nonetheless, Noah, look she likes you
a lot. Are you flattered? I mean, would you consider
another date? Maybe we have to establish some boundaries here
and you know, maybe you have to join a new
gym or she does. I don't know, because everything was

(08:36):
fine until that.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
It sounds like, uh, yeah, Nonna, that's gonna be a
no for me.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
All right, Thank you for your time. Best of luck
to both of you.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
For Sure, Caitlin's Entertainment reports on the Fresh Show.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
A new lawsuit is putting Michael Jackson back in the
spotlight years after his death. Four members of the Cassio
family have filed a federal complaint accusing the late pop
star of actually abusing them for over more than a decade,
beginning when they were as young as seven or eight.
The suit claims some of the alleged abuse occurred not
only at Neverland Ranch, but also while traveling, including at

(09:11):
the homes of both Elizabeth Taylor in Switzerland and Elton
John in the UK. I want to be clear, though
either Elizabeth nor Elton are being accused of any wrongdoing
in the filing, but the siblings Edward dominic Aldo and
their sister Marie Nicole Porte alleged Michael groommam with gifts, trips, alcohol, drugs,
and used associates to help conceal the behavior. Michael's estate

(09:33):
strongly denies the allegations, calling the lawsuit a desperate money grab,
noting that this family publicly defended Jackson four years. Kennedy
Air Jack Schlossberg is real upset over that new Ryan
Murphy show. The FX series Love Story, which I Do
Want to Watch, premiered last.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Month, follows the romance of JFK.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Junior and wife Carolyn Bassett, depicting the highs and lows
of their marriage up until their tragic death in nineteen
ninety one from a fatal plane crash. Which our very
own producer Bella just learned that JFK. Junior died in
a plane crash. She asked me why nobody told her?
Oh so, I didn't realize the hand to tell her,
but now she knows. The show has It was in

(10:13):
part of our morning briefing. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
We gotta yeah, we got to do class or something
with her.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
But while the show has seemed to captivate a lot
of people, he is not impressed. During an interview with CBS,
he the budding politician who is currently running to become
the Democratic candidate in New York's twelfth congressional district in
the US House of Representatives election. He branded the show
as a grotesque display of someone else's life. He says
Ryan knows nothing about his family. Reminded viewers it's fiction,

(10:40):
not a documentary. He says, if you want to know
someone who's ever met anyone in my family knows nothing
about us. Just talk to Ryan Murphy. I want people
who watch it to watch with one letter in mind.
That's a capital F for fiction. Also slammed Ryan for
not donating the millions of dollars of profits that he's
making from the show to some causes that JFK Junior
Champion through his life.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
He said, maybe he could donate some of it.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
To the JFK Library to help keep President Kennedy's memory alive.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
But he's not. He's making money.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Jack is the son of the late former President Kennedy
JFK if you did not know, and former First Lady
Jackie oh only surviving child Carolyn Kennedy and her husband
Edward Schlosburg. But yes, so he is not happy about it,
and I feel like that's got to be hard. I
mean there's a ton of movies and documentaries about people,
and I even know for like these serial killer documentaries

(11:30):
like the Jeffrey Dahmer, like, you know, the victims are
very upset about it.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
So it's got to be hard if it's something tragic.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
And it's you know, being used for entertainment, something else
for you to watch that isn't you know, doesn't come
with as many critics. Nicole Kidman's new Prime video crime series,
and Nicole Kidman can make a good show. I don't
care what anybody says. Like all these shows she's up to.
It's called Scarpetta, debuts next week. I heard it's really good.
She's also working with Jamie Lee Curtis in it. And

(11:57):
she said, what it's like to work in Nicole, she said,
the phrase she likes to use is hbi C if
you know you know? She said, you know in the military,
when people say attention. That's how it feels to work
with Nicole. Then a coal effect made this experience a
special thing that drops on Prime Video March eleventh. By
the way, speaking of Nicole, her new obsession is cruises,
which I did not expect.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
She said. I love cruises, she told Jimmy Fallon, I've
got two more planned. I love meeting people, I have
my family, I love going on them. I love doing
karaoke night.

Speaker 6 (12:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
I love Yeah. She's like, you're a cruise person or
you're not correct? Can we talk? If you're a cruise person,
I'd like to speak with you. Eight three five.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I understand why a cruise might be appealing but I
don't think it's for me.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
It's it's too.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Much, and it's I'm trapped and I don't know. I
don't It's too.

Speaker 7 (12:48):
Much food, all day liquor, all day activities, beautiful, water, beautiful.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
What do you mean you went on a cruise? I
thought you didn't even like it because there was no internet.

Speaker 7 (12:57):
I've been on two cruises. The first one was amazing.
The second one, yes, I was upset because there wasn't
Wi Fi. But if I have Wi Fi, it's a
great time.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Cy you could have Wi Fi anywhere, you'd have a
great time. Why are we can pay for the cruise
if it's depended on Wi Fi. If it's contingent on.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Wi Fi working, you only saw the water because the
Wi Fi was working.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Also, by the way, Practical Magic Too is coming out,
which is amazing.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
I know.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Paulina, Yes, we got to go see it. Nicole Sandra Bullock.
They spent the summer filming that, and she said that
they had the best time. She called Sandra heaven on
the stick, which is an interesting thing to say about someone.
But look out for that as well. And if you
want to catch up on anything you missed from our show,
You can do that on the free iHeartRadio app the
Fred Show on demand. You can type click the highlights

(13:43):
tab while you're there, and please set us as a preset.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Was it the tangent? Yesterday?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
We were talking about all inclusive because I think it's
the same sort and I look, no judgment if you
like a cruise or an all inclusive for that matter,
but it's the same sort of thing that happens on
a cruise or an all inclusive. In my opinion, it's
just gluttony. It's I've paid Sam right, what do you
mean what?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
I'm offended? I'm a huge inclusive girl like now, but
it's gluttony. It's like, I don't know what that means.
I don't like it. You can't, Paulina, You can't be
offended if you don't know what the word means. It
doesn't sound good, doesn't sound good.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
How can you be offended by something if you don't
know what he means? You said no shade, and I'm like,
oh no, it's like I feel and courses. I guess
you're a little different. I haven't been on one of
since I was a kid, but I know you have
to pay for the up charging and whatever. But when
there's that much, when you pay for unlimited anything, I
find that there's a mentality. And you just got back
from All inclusive, it is like this mentality, it's, well,

(14:38):
I paid for it, so I'm gonna get up and
I'm gonna eat all the breakfast and all the lunch,
and drink all the drinks and eat all the dinner.
And that's fine, Like you paid for it, you should
enjoy yourself. But there when everybody is of the same mindset,
I feel like we're all just attacking. Like you ever
been in an airline club before, you know, Like people

(14:58):
attack the buffet and the airl club like they've never eaten,
like they're famished.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
That's what I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
People just it's like I have to have all of it,
and I just I think you have a boat full
of people and everyone's just trying to get the most
of everything. It's like a mad dash. Like guys, it's
there's gonna be enough guy for every burgers for everybody, man,
I promise, I promise you. Like my grandparents used to
love a cruise, but they were old, that makes sense,

(15:26):
and my grand my grandmother used to wait on my
grandfather and you know, making breakfast. So they go on
a cruise. Now, somebody does that for both of them,
and they got to see destinations without having to do
a lot. You know, they unpacked once and it made
perfect sense. I get it, but I mean, I don't.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Know it's for me.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
It's I need eight drinks right now cause because I
can have them. And I get it, like that's fun.
But when you put everyone together, like I like the
idea of walking up to the bar and ordering everything
I want and just like it's just it is what
it is. But when you've got thirty other people who
have the same mentality, it's just like it's just a lot, yeah, just.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Eating, just to eat.

Speaker 8 (16:00):
There was one day we got up, we had breakfast,
we had lunch. Then we were coming back from the
beach and there was a random buffet there of jerk chicken. Yes,
I'm ready to eat this because it's here, Like why not?
I hate Well that is sunny because I was nowhere
near Hungary?

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Simona?

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Hi? Fred, It's Simona.

Speaker 9 (16:18):
I listen to you every morning.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
I love you guys so much. This is the best
call you made my day. I love you so much, Simona.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
I was just telling these guys how much I love
you actually off the air, even though we've never spoken.
But you're a cruise person, and you tell me why
I need to be a cruise person because I just don't.

Speaker 9 (16:35):
Know, so Fred for when I turned twenty six, I
begged my parents, I want to go on a cruise,
and they're like, no, Titanic.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
You know, me and my to the Icebergs. You're fine,
you know Titanic.

Speaker 9 (16:50):
We finally went on. I went on three carnival cruises
in one year. Matched out my PTO. I cannot get
enough wow.

Speaker 10 (16:58):
And so what is it?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Why? Like why that versus a hotel in a place
or why you know, like why the cruise? Why why
am I with because you know what all I think
of Simona or all the stories we've done over the
years of the cruise ship with the with the plumbing
that exploded and there's poop going down the hallway and
now I'm stuck with a bunch of people who ate
too many Guy Fieri hamburgers and they were pooping everywhere.

Speaker 9 (17:24):
Yes, there's just something in the air. It's like you
don't know unless you're on there, like you can do
whatever you want whenever you want, like you know, going
with is it like interested in something like you're like, okay, bye,
I'm gonna go do it by myself. You know, you
can meet up later. Like it's just so fun.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
I think everyone should do it at least one.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Now, do you want these cruises, Simona where they have
like the beds everywhere?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Have you seen those that, like the swinger cruises?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
They have swinger cruises where they like they put beds
everywhere and it's just mattresses everywhere and you just get
it on.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
All over the time.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
No. I worked at a travel agency in college, actually,
but no, I did not go on those no pineapples
for me, Fred, Okay, all.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Right, well you didn't really sell it to me, but
thank you. Have a good days.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Maybe it's just too much for me. It's it's over stimulated.
I would be overstimulated.

Speaker 10 (18:18):
I think so.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
And I think when there's too much of anything, nothing's
really great, you know, like wait, I can think about that.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
That's one of the most profound things I've ever said.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Like when you go to a food court and you've
got thirty different dining options, is any of it like stellar?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Like I didn't go to the same food court and
you get every possible cuisine there, and I'm going, like,
is any of it great?

Speaker 8 (18:41):
And how long has it been sitting there. I don't
know if any like all inclusive or crews are like
known for their food. But I have been on cruise
TikTok a little bit, and some of these new boats
are huge. They have like eighteen levels. They have like
steakhouses that you can go to and like, but you
have to pay extra for. So I feel like those
are probably like legit because that's like, you know, top tier.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
I'd rather like see a new place, like you know,
a destination, I think, yeah, than just like do it
all on water, look it off, but then you got
to get back in twenty four hours.

Speaker 11 (19:12):
I don't know I would miss that boat. Well yeah, Barbados,
Yeah sure. I don't know if they still do this.
But when my a lot of things happened when my
parents were getting divorced. I was nine ish, my sister
was like four or three, and so a lot of
things happened. I got a Gurbil Disney cruise, and a
Disney cruise was involved in a million different things happened,

(19:34):
like because there was just so much guilt. Yeah, and
so the Disney Cruise was one of those things. But
what I figured out, what we learned we were on
the cruise. This is terrible is apparently they they can't
possibly still do this. But they marketed the Disney cruise
two different ways. It was a Disney cruise and it
was a cruise, and so like people were getting on

(19:54):
this boat for their honeymoon because they didn't, and they
marketed it without saying it was a Disney cruise. Oh
so like people in a little orientation that we went
to when we.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
First got on the boat, it was like, surprise, we
have honeymooners on here and we have Disney cruise, but
the best birth control ever.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
The cruise director is saying this stuff. I would be feria. Yeah, honeymoon, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
My honeymoon, and this is a Disney cruise. Kids run
around everywhere. Fread being profound is just rephrasing quality over quantity.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, it was. It was a joke, jack Ass. It
was a joke.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Hey, Allison, wasn't I don't say anything profound on this show.
It was it was being silly, Allison. Yes, the sky
is blue? Profound? You love a cruise. Why do you
love a cruise, Allison?

Speaker 12 (20:50):
Well, I've done all inclusives.

Speaker 10 (20:52):
I've gone the three all inclusives and I did my
first cruise and they're both wonderful. But the gluttony aspect,
that's a personal tree. There has nothing to do with
what you're booking. If you see some of the for
free and you're taking it for free, it don't matter
where you're at.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Yeah, but why book it all inclusive?

Speaker 1 (21:07):
If the purpose is not for gluttony, Like, if you're
not just going to grab everything and make a mad
dash for every free thing you see, then why don't
you just book any kind of place?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Why you got a book all inclusive?

Speaker 10 (21:19):
The simplicity of it, there's simplicity of going like you're there.
You don't have to worry about, oh I have to
add this to my budget or that to my budget.

Speaker 12 (21:28):
It's already done, it's paid for. You enjoy what you
want to enjoy and you don't, you.

Speaker 10 (21:34):
Know, utilies what you don't want to and then at
the end of the trip, if you're doing it correctly,
your bill is what it's supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yeah, I get that.

Speaker 12 (21:44):
That's easier. The simplicity of it and the food that
you're taught like. We had dinner service. We didn't go
to the buffet. I can't speak to the buffets.

Speaker 10 (21:54):
But we went for main dining and it's not extra
and the food was wonderful, our waiter staff.

Speaker 12 (22:00):
If I could have brought him home.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
With us, we would have.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Ever. Okay, hey, look, if it's for you, great, Just
to me, I don't know, it just seems like I
agree with Caitlin. I feel like you're a little trapped,
you know, I don't know. We're in the middle of nowhere.

Speaker 10 (22:18):
I watch what company you go with, do your reviews,
and it depends on if you care about being around
kids or not, because kids could change the vibe.

Speaker 12 (22:30):
Of the cruise.

Speaker 10 (22:31):
All inclusives a lot of them are adults only, so
really think about which one works best for.

Speaker 12 (22:36):
You and then you'll have the best time. But ease
your way in. Do not do like a six seven
day cruise. Start slow.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah, okay, And.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
By the way, in fairness, I have not been on
a cruise in a very long time. Maybe they've improved significantly,
and I'm I'm the crazy person.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
But thank you, have a good day, have a great day.
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
And if I had a bunch of kids, I also
think that's something because one like, I think that's all.
My mom liked it because I'm, you know, ten years
old or whatever. He's not gonna go there's nowhere to go,
like to have at it, bro, you know. And then
they got to look, they had a place to put
my sister and you know whatever, and so my mom
kind of got to have some.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
I mean, I get that sounds nice. I get that,
but I sign up for that.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Yeah, you would hate it you don't commit to one area.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah, it's just too many people and we're all on this.
I would start to feel claustrophobic. I'm a crazy person.

Speaker 9 (23:25):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
And I want to say something profound to you guys.
I can't wait. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I've never heard that's the first time I'm here.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I know, I know, I know, I want to. I'm
just marry it on that today.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yeah, and the fun is the fun fact. I'm gonna
tell you about trees next. You never heard that either,
don't worry.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
This is the kind of.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Is profundity a word? If it's not, I made it up.
But anyway, this is what you can expect from us
right here. The Friend Show, More Fread Show.

Speaker 8 (23:50):
Next, The Fread Show is on Fread's Fun Fact Fred.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Fun so much.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
A lot of cruise defenders this morning, by the way,
a lot of cruise defenders. Hey, look, and that's why
I'm saying. I explained to you where I'm coming from,
and you're telling me I'm wrong. I might need to
try it again. Probably not, but you know, maybe probably not,
but maybe I don't know. I I go on a
below deck, but I wouldn't go on below deck. And

(24:24):
the reason I wouldn't go on below deck is because
I'm not going to get crapped on, Like that's the deal.
You go on you have to be high maintenance. And
then so I'm not that high maintenance, so I'm not
gonna go on to be mean to these people. It'd
be the most boring episode of Below Deck ever because
I'd be nice to everybody, you know, and be like
so grateful that I was like on this thing, you know,
and then they'd still probably talk smack about me. Then

(24:46):
you watch the episode, they're like saying bad things about you.
But I paid for this, Like why would I choose
that anyway? I'm over it. Pine trees, I don't care.
Pine trees can tell if it's to rain. The tree
can tell if it's going to rain. The next time
you see a pine cone, take a look. If it's closed,
that's because the air is humid, which can indicate that

(25:09):
rain is on its way.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Oh okay, nature is neat. Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
So the next time you want to know if it's
gonna rain, you'll find a pine tree and a pine cone,
and then look if it's open or closed. Then you'll
be able to tell. You're welcome more Fred Show next. Yeah,
they talk better than the excite. These are the radio
blogs on the fread show Gooding in our diaries, except
we say them aloud.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
We call it blogs. Jason, Yes, go right ahead. Thank you,
dear blog. So I'm sure you've heard if you've been
listening to this program.

Speaker 8 (25:42):
However, if you haven't, I recently had knee surgery to
repair a torn meniscus and it's a very long and
slow recoup process.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
You have two personal nurses named Paulina. Yes, it's weird
that you make them more nurse outfit whatever.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Hey, you know fit the part. So as part of
my make me wear a nurse outfit and I had
nothing to do. And it's where you.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
Never know when you may need to jump in and
help out. You know, it's becoming time might eat a
sponge bestone anyway. So part of my like rehab is
that I have to go to physical therapy. And I've
never done this before, but yesterday it was my third
or fourth visit, and it's so awkward.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
In like so many different ways.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
Like I'm not doing a lot, like currently my leg
is just stuck straight, and I'm not at the point
where it's healed enough yet where we can do a
lot of like bending or walking or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
So like the first fifteen minutes they're.

Speaker 8 (26:44):
Like massaging it, okay, And you guys know how much
I hate people touching me, and so like I'm really
just trying to breathe and like get through this process,
you know. And then like the hardest thing that I
have to do is like a leg lift, right, like
me just lying but like like lifting my leg completely straight.
But then like I by far am the youngest person

(27:07):
in this physical therapy place, okay, And then there's like
my girl Nancy over there, she's walking around doing lunges
with weights and like all this stuff. And then Oscar's
over there on the power bike thing like with his
little like police system with his arms, and like there's
me just lying there like I can't do anything or whatever.
It's just it's such a funny environment to be in.

(27:28):
It's like a like a older person gym, and then
there's me just laying on a table.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
It's so odd.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
And I don't mean to stay at the obvious, but
I feel like we all, especially when we're younger, we
take for granted basic things like walking, yeah, you know,
and like you know, feeling good, you're back, not hurting
or whatever. And when you're debilitated like this, and it's
like you realize why it's important to take care of
all this stuff because it's a very it's a very

(27:55):
helpless feeling, it really is. In that situation and you're
watching everyone else with all their all their mobility, right
like you.

Speaker 8 (28:04):
Got a new shoulder or something like, you know, but
like there's me. It takes me ten minutes just to
get up, like you know, like I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
It's basic stuff like being able to put your own
pants on, you know, change my right right there. You
don't really think about until you can't do them, and
then you have to go to physical therapy to.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Help learn relearn how to literally on your own underwear.

Speaker 8 (28:27):
To change my socks. Yes, like and I have to
do this for like twelve weeks or something like. It's
just it's crazy. I will never be sitting down again,
like once I have my new Megan knee, Like I
you can't tell me nothing. I'm going to everything. I'm
going to be outside. It's happening because.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
When he tells me you can't out, no, I love
how you've.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Made this about a knee when you really got a BBL. Yeah,
we all know it. Don't have to go to physical
therapy with the.

Speaker 9 (28:53):
VIA for that.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
But after his bb

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
