Speaker 1 (01:21):
Say that, Okay. The Entertainer Report, headlines and blogs this
hour are audio journals. What are you working out at
a fourt K?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
We have to talk the Golden Globes and a moment
was snoop. We may have found out that he does
have a limit because something really funny happened and it
had to be bleeped.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Nicki Glacier was hilarious again last night. Again.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, she's she's really good. I mean, I can't imagine
how hard that job would be, and she's very funny
doing it alone.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
It's been a very up and down weekend. I mean,
she was funny. The Bears were not funny. Let me
think what else you know? I have a hot take.
I'm angry at the Chicago Bears. I'm angry and they won,
and I'm still angry at them. Maybe I'll get to
that at a minute, it's too much up and down.
But Kiki said that she discovered football this weekend. At
the right page of thirty something, you discovered it explained this,

(02:15):
you discovered football this weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
How I get it?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I finally understand why this is America's what past time is?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Ever they call it?

Speaker 5 (02:23):
Yes, I think that's baseball?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Well, yeah, you know what I meant.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I am in though, I am finally understanding why for
years people have been running down the field, kicking and chasing.
I never understood this, never was a fan, never understood,
never enjoyed it, never sat down and watched a full game. Okay,
until this weekend, And now I get it. Now I'm

(02:50):
in Now I want to make chili in hotel.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
It is a new light in my life that I
never ever thought that I would ever be in.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Aging man like who am I? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
I want to order a jersey, Like, oh.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
My gosh, I am dating you because like literally, this
is the first weekend that he's like, wait, are we
watching the game?

Speaker 7 (03:11):
Like?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Where are we watching the game?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
But are we doing?

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Like he stayed up to bed, He stayed up and
watched it. I fell asleep, Like that is how locked in.
He was like telling you, Yeah, I'm dating you just as.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Amazing here you are dating me, that for sure.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
So you guys get in when the Bears are good.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I think that's what it is, something about this story.

Speaker 8 (03:31):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah, but but you live You've lived in in Chicago.
You've lived in Chicago when the Bears were good. Oh so.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I didn't know.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Thirteen years ago they were pretty good. Then we took
a while to get good again. But you know, but
but this isn't the first time in your life that
you've lived in a city where the sports teams were good.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Okay, well you know what. Now I'm here, you know,
and I want to make up for lost time. So
I'm throwing the super Bowl party. Do you know this
girl's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
A whole thing.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. It's it's the buddy
ball and we're just gonna have a good time. I
am in, y'all. I am locked in. And I never
understood this until this weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I don't know what it was. I don't know what got.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Me in it, but it was like they were down
and then I was I was. I was praying, and
the next thing, you know, they were winning, and I
was just like, oh my god, I'm here for the
coach what's his name being?

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I discovered like water with fruit in it to flavor it,
like I don't understand what's happening right now.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Yes, great, Yes, water tastes so good with this though,
if you ever tried it with like a nice cucumber, maybe,
like you know, throw a couple little berries in there
and something like that, It's delicious.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Gets her to yoga like, yes, right, I am here,
I am here, and I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
That's what I say. You know, I'm sure they appreciate
it when they're down and you weren't.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Their fans, But now that they're good, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Sure would you? Would you have liked it? Would you
be still saying this this morning if the Bears had lost,
because in this case we're talking about the Bears game,
I mean the Panthers had a close game. Would you
be did you watch that game? I mean there were
a lot of games, and the Bills had a close game.
Would you feel the same way about any team or
is it just at the team where you live? She
seems to be doing well now all of a sudden.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I think it's the Bears, I really do. I feel
like the energy in the city hasn't been like this ever.
I've never felt like the whole city is watching one
thing together and we're all excited together.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
It just felt I could feel it in the air.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I don't know, yes, yeah, And so then if your
team lose this this weekend, then is it over? Is
this is this interest over, this new found love that
you have for the America's pastime, football Americano, football Americano.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Wait for that heartbreak?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
I don't know, but you know what, I'm very hopeful.
And I feel like, because Mike the mechanic and I
are now on.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Board, that we are really good.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Luck charms to this team, and so I think there's
no limit to what the Bears will do now that
I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
So honestly, I think we're going to the super Bowl.
I'm I'm just being mechanic Mic and Pope Leo, I
think he was working all the time over time. You
can tell me.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Good point, we get a pope from Chicago and all
of a sudden, the Bears are pretty good.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Now, do you.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Understand how it works or where they're running or.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Why or so for the life of me, I kept
telling my brother, I said, why is Caleb Williams sitting now?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Said he needs to get in the game.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, you're right, he should get in the game. We
needed it to be his turn a little more.

Speaker 9 (06:42):
When I was talking by his turn, I'm like, what
you mean is turn?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
My brother was like, because there's an offense and a defense,
and I was like, whoa.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Whoa, whoa.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
And so he explained it to me and I was like, okay,
fair enough. But you know, when Caleb got in there,
he did what needed to be done. And the other guy,
I don't know, it was another guy that was running
and kicking, and I was just like, you know, I'm
so proud of him.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Running and kicking. There's a running back, you.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Know, Cayro Santos. If you don't know any other player,
you know Cairo happening.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I'm so happy for you though. I'm so happy that
you found a new passion.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
It's crazy and I never thought this would be me.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Ever.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I always drag girls because I feel like a lot
of my friends they pretend like they like football because
they want to be around the guys. You know, I
dated a football player, like I still didn't understand what
was going on.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Dated a football player. Did you attend his game?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I did? I did, yes. All through high school and college.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
I never know as I passioned as you are now,
not at all.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
I only cheer when his family was cheer because I
didn't know what was going on. I really was confused.
But now I'm locked in. I'm here.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, I'm happy for you. I'm happy for you. You
don't look. I was going to save the rant for later,
but like I pop off king the games, you're always excited,
I would say mostly exciting this time of year because
they're you know, elimination games. It's the playoffs, so they
lose once they're out. So I feel like everyone plays
really hard. You win a few games, you went up

(08:08):
in the Super Bowl, you could win up a champion.
That's good. Specifically, though, if you watch the Chicago Bears
game against the Green Bay Packers, you don't have to
be a Bears fan, have watched that game because it's
a big rivalry game, and if you know anything about it,
then you know that the Bears. You know, if you're
a Bears fan, you cannot lose to the Packers, especially
in Chicago. You just can't do it. Like it's terrible.

(08:28):
And if we had, I think it would have been
I would have taken anything good about this season and
just everyone would have been mad. And you could tell
that by watching the first oh, I don't know, eighty
percent of the game, eighty five, maybe ninety percent of
the game because we were losing badly. The Bears were
in this game, and you could see on everyone's faces.
You could see Soldier Field turning like people were angry,

(08:50):
like wait a minute, we got this far and now
we're gonna get blown out by these guys. And then like,
in the last five minutes of the game, what did
we score in the fourth quarter? We scored like twenty
three points or something and won the game, which is amazing,
And I'm so happy about that because you know, I'm
an adopted Bears fan. I moved to Chicago a long
time ago, and I was kind of homeless. I grew
up in Arizona. Football homeless. I should say I had

(09:12):
a home, but you know, football homeless. Cardinals were just it.
You couldn't attach yourself to that. There wasn't even any
like it's not like the Lions that were Caitlyn, You've
been a long suffering Lions fan, but there's like a
long history of generations of Lions fans. I don't know
if there's a long history of generations of Arizona Cardinals fans.

(09:33):
I don't think there are. They weren't even the Arizona Cardinals.
They were the Saint Louis Cardinals at one point. Football anyway,
whatever the case may be, I just I get it.
I moved here, and I feel like people were born
into this and they love it. And I lived here
when the Bears were good, and I lived in Chicago
when the Bears were bad, and this town is so
much better when sports teams are hitting, And wherever you

(09:56):
live and whatever your team is, you got to agree
with me. When sports teams are hit, everybody is happy.
But my problem is we should have lost that damn game.
And then they're they're walking around with all this swag
at the end, like, ah, yeah, we did it, you know,
Blank the Packers, the whole thing, you guys, you put
everybody through the worst night. The range of emotions were unnecessary.

(10:21):
If you could score twenty three points in one quarter,
why are we in this situation every week? Stop it?
Stop it. Stop it. Like the second half of the season,
we were gonna lose every game and somehow we wind
up winning, which is amazing, but stop it. And then
Caleb Williams standing there at the end like he's not
even tired, like, oh yeah, you know, we probably should

(10:41):
have played better. But did it again? Stop it? Stop it,
You're so good, just blow everybody out. Stop it. I'm mad.
I'm watching this game. I could have turned it off.
I think a lot of people did turn it off
and thought that the Chicago Bears had lost. And they won,
but they had to do all in the last second.
Stop it.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
I had a friend who was actually at the game
and he left the stadium and he was on social
media like this sucks.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
I'm so mad at us.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
And he left the game early and got in the
car and then was like, okay, I'm sorry, guys.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
I see well he was the bad luck charm.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Maybe that was that was a funny like story to
watch because it was just like, look how mad you are,
Look how quick you turn on your team. See me,
I would never I'm riding with the Bears win and lose.
But he left the stadium. So yeah, it's just frustrating.
And like, you know, some dude I saw some video
early this morning. I don't remember who it was because
I was hav asleep, but some guy in the Packers like, oh,

(11:38):
the Bears didn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
We just we collapsed. Well that's true, you did. You'd
give up twenty three points in a quarter and you
lost a game that you had handily won. I don't
know that I look at it that way. I mean, yes,
they collapsed, but then the Bears were exceptional. I just
don't get it, like, just be exceptional more, you know,
like why are we waiting till the end? But it's
not even like we did it this one time? Like

(12:00):
what is it? Last five six games has been like this,
They're gonna lose again and then all the miraculously and
then they all and then calebly and they even tired, Like, bro,
you used to be exhausted. It's like it's too easy.
I don't understand. Stop putting us through this. I'm like,
I love you, and I'm so happy that this team
is winning and it's so much fun. And I know

(12:21):
there are people that you know, like I said, lifelong
Bears fans and multi generation, it's just like and people
are saying that, well, they're called the Cardiac Bears seven
comeback games, but you're you're that good, so like, why
why are we so bad? And then all of a
sudden so good. I don't get it, Like which one
is it? I think it's I think we're good actually,

(12:42):
and I think that the Bear is gonna be good
for a long time. But like whatever your team is,
if you have every single week, if you have to
live through this, yes it's exciting. But then like, we're
eventually going to lose a big game this way because
it's not gonna work out this way every single time.
Wait till we play the Seahawks or something, or like
you know what I mean. We can't do this every time.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Oh no, man, you gotta have faith, you gotta believe. Man,
I'm just frustrated. I'm watching this game. I'm like, I
can't believe this.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Man, this is a great season and we're gonna lose
to the Packers and then everyone's gonna be mad and
like it just what a waste? And then oh, let's
just go ahead, real quick, score twenty four, just real quick,
just a couple of touchdowns real quick. Oh good we won? Wow,
better play better next time. I guess I don't know.
I can't be the only one who's just impassionate about it.

(13:32):
Oh it's twenty five points in the fourth quarter. Sorry,
twenty five points. Twenty five man, I don't think my
heart can handle it, is what I mean. Like if
you saw my instant stories, I was like, this is bad,
and then like two hours later that was exceptional. I
went from calling my therapist to drinking for good reasons,

(13:56):
not bad reasons like I normally do. So I don't know.
There's no one else. Your Kiki's over here celebrating, jumping
up and down because you watch something that was truly exceptional,
And I'm over here going I'm tired of seeing this
like just blow they start winning, like play well the
whole time, right from the beginning. Right, That's all I'm saying,
quit doing this to us up front.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yes, when you're like at a party too, and then
like the vibes like they're going.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
In waves, I don't like that. I want to be
like on a high at all time.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
So I agree with you, Fred, I'm gonna ride with
you on this one. I'm sure that's what they want to.
You know, the players make it happen.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I'm sure they do too, But isn't that someone in
there control. I don't know how you go from being
so average to so exceptional and then just turning it
off and doing it over and over again. That's my problem.
Someone say, stop complaining. You know how many years of
being up until the fourth quarter and then blowing the
game we had to watch. Ye, that's true too. I
mean that's true too. I just if it were if
it were one game, I would say, wow, wo, we

(14:53):
got lucky there. It's a bit of a theme this season,
and I'm I'm just saying, stop.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Knock at all.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
I so understand, like what's happening with you right now?
And I stand with you, my brother. I get it.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Thank you, I thank you you. I'm grateful. I mean
again and again, not everyone lives in Chicago, but if
you've lived in a team in a city where your
team was doing exceptionally well, I mean what ten years
ago the Panthers went to a Super Bowl. That was
such an exciting time. Even this weekend in Charlotte where
our show is on. It was exciting because they had
exceeded expectations and it was electric like it was awesome,

(15:29):
and I'm happy for that wherever, wherever you are, baseball,
whatever sport it is. I mean, black Hawks have been good,
Cubs have been good in my time living in Chicago.
Socks I'm sure will be good again. It's one of
those easy it's better when your teams are firing. Quit
playing with my emotions. And I know Caitlin knows this
because because this is what the Lions there. They're good

(15:51):
and good and good and good until they have to
be good and then they're bad. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Well, I mean we got knocked out right before the
Super Bowl last year, so you can imagine the.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
Pain that I was going through on that walk home.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
I walked home from the bar, like man, I sat on.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
A bench like I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
I'm not even.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Joking, like I like truly, like where do I go
from here?

Speaker 3 (16:09):
I had my Nana's ashes because I thought we were
gonna have this moment.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
It was just us on that bench and Kiki just
discovered this and she thinks every game is like this.
I wish every game we're not like that.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
I don't know, man, It's a great story, great story.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Oh man. Yeah, anyway, I'm gonna play song now, I'm
gonna take it. My breathing was getting weird at the
end of that game. I'm like, do I need to
insult a physician or something? The biggest stories of the day.
I'm going through all these sexts. Yeah, this is it.
Someone said I agree with Fred as well. It's annoying
and it's not gonna work every time. Mark said, I

(16:45):
think the Bear set up schemes for later in the game.
Opponents get baited based upon the first few quarters and
then we change it up in the fourth. Yeah. But
I guess my thing is why we got waste so long,
Like like one of these times, it's not gonna work,
and these games are getting important? What are we three games?
Two games away from the super Bowl? Like, you can't
be doing stuff like this, especially when you're good. That's

(17:07):
what I mean. If you're like not that good and
then you pull it out in the end, like that's exciting.
I guess, But I guess there's too much talent to
be putting us through this sort of emotional roller coaster.
I just don't appreciate stop it, knock it off. And
Caleb did say and he was like not even he
didn't even look remotely phased. At the end of the game, Yeah,
we got to play better. You know you think you think? Okay, anyway,

(17:37):
I'm okay. Now, what is this morin? Maureen says, all
the commentators talked about how the Bears play all four quarters,
and that's how they've been winning it. So let's consider
it's ourselves. Let's consider ourselves blessed. This is why I
don't watch football regulating more, because I can't take it.
I think that's what it is is. I was just
I was having a difficult time breathing properly, and I
am I and I just I can't handle the range

(17:59):
of emotions because I'm just like, oh man, all this
Chris great season, and then the Packers really, you're you
gonna have to hear about it from the Packers people,
annoying cheesehead, greater cheese packer people, and I don't want it.
And then we won, and which is again, I'm very
happy about it. I just we need him come home

(18:21):
from the beginning. We got to do it. And Jase's
mom is a Green Bay Packers fan. If you don't
understand the rivalry, Packers and the Bears hate each other.
And there's no reason why somebody who is born and
raised in Chicago, as your mother was would be a
Packers fan. There is no reason why you would choose
that life. And she has Have you had any contact
with her since this devastating swing of events for her?

Speaker 9 (18:43):
Right?

Speaker 6 (18:44):
No, I did not talk to her on Saturday, but
then I went and I saw them yesterday, and I
waited to bring it up because I was like, I'm
not trying to gloaty though I wanted to be, like,
you know, look at your face, you know. And she
was like, did you watch the game last night? And
I told her I fell asleep and watched it and
then woke me up.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
When we won.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
And then her narrative, I just don't understand they were
so good in the beginning and now just everything you
said but the opposite. Right, So she has the same frustration,
and she's like, you know, I think they might have
thrown it on purpose. I was like, Mom, they would
have not done that, not against us, Like how are
you going to throw your biggest rivalry game? Like that's
not even possible. So she's I think she's going through

(19:24):
the stages of grief. Right, so we haven't reached what
is it acceptance or whatever in stage one or whatever
it is.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
So yes, somebody said Terry TEXTI it takes till the
second half of Caleb's fingernail polished and dry, ball slippery
in the first half. Oh boy, that's right, right, he
looks good. If it weren't a theme, I wouldn't be worried.
I'm just worried because, like, we just can't do this
in the super Bowl. Because you do this to us
in the super Bowl and lose. I think that the

(19:53):
emergency rooms in the city are going to have issues,
like it's it's not going to be good. And I
don't know. I guess if I were winning a game
like that, i'd be at the end going whoa, Like
I'd be scared. I'd be like I can't believe it,
Like we can't do this and it's just so chill,
and then in the locker room yelling scream yeah we
did it, We do it all. You know what you mean?

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Man?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Nobody the script. The script worked on Kiki Man. She
she's discovered football for the first time in her thirty
some of your lives, so this is exciting we got
one more playoff game to determine the next round tonight,
and says Steelers. Texans at the Steelers. That's at eight
o'clock Eastern, seven Central. But Bill's Broncos the four Niners

(20:39):
at the Seahawks, and then you've got Rams at Bears.
That's the first two games of Saturday. Rams at Bears Sunday,
and then the winner of the Texas Texan Steelers at
the Patriots also on Sunday. So it's gonna be a
very exciting Sunday evening for our Chicago fans and I
mean Bears fans. We don't have any fans, but you know, fans,

(21:00):
people who like the Bears. The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the
Oregon Ducks big time, fifty six to twenty two at
the College Football Playoff semi final the Chick fil A
Peach Bowl on Friday. The Hoosiers will now face the
Miami Hurricanes in the National Championship Game next Monday night.
In nonsports headlines today, TSA officers have shared the wildest
things that people have tried to fly with across the country.

(21:22):
In twenty twenty five. In October, a TSA officer in
Newark found a handgun hidden in a guitar case, which
is a natural place to hide your gun. I guess
the mob right, officers said the passenger told him the
case was a gift from someone else and he didn't
know a gun was in there. Well, it's another way
to get on the no fly list, don't you hear
the announcement? Don't be taking stuff on the plane if

(21:44):
you don't if you didn't pack it, like I've watched
that to Catch It Smugglers show one too many times. Oh,
I didn't know what was in the suitcase. Well then
why did you take it on an airplane?

Speaker 10 (21:53):
Right?

Speaker 1 (21:53):
If you didn't know a few months before that, another
officer found a BB gun hidden inside the lining of
a passenger's luggage new Work. Someone else found several throwing
stars in a check in bag. I've been wondering where
those were by throwing stars, a flashlight, taser, a knife
hidden inside a comb, and drugs were hidden inside a

(22:15):
paper towel in a passenger's shoe. Okay, so you're not
supposed to do any of them. Calin's a big pickleball player.
You discovered pickleball the way that Kiki discovered football exactly now,
have you been playing much of it? I know it
was like more of a summer thing. Fee we're looking
at outfits and paddles and sponsorships and things like that.
Where are we at with that now?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
So I have not played indoors since it's gotten colder.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
But if somebody wants to, you know, go mix it up.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Jason, Yeah, stand in the kitchen, man stand of the kitchen.
I don't even know what that means, really, but I
just know people say that. But there's another paddle sport
lining up to be the next big thing, and it's
called paddle pad e L. I think it's called pit
paddle that we say that? Sure, I don't. You can
say padel. I don't know. It's a pace mix of

(23:03):
tennis and squash, played on a smaller courts, surrounded by
glass walls that keep rallies alive and game social. Invented
decades ago in Mexico, it's suddenly taken off worldwide, now
played in about ninety countries of millions trying it for
the first time. It's easy to learn, usually played in
doubles and designed for longer, more entertaining points, and that
helps explain the surge in new courts and private investment.

(23:26):
The sport has also picked up celebrity fans and major
buzz overseas, especially in Europe and Latin America, and industry
watchers say that the US could be next paddle. Okay,
so pick a ball, move aside. Now we got pass
that sounds more athletic. Though weren't a box. It's supposed
to last longer. I feel like pickleball is, like you know, then,

(23:47):
it's a slower pace if you wanted to be you
don't have to be out here like you're sweating a
whole lot. Do you No?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Like I was going too hard for pickleball, Like you
can't hit overhand. The ball has to bounce first. You
can't just like hit it. I was too much at first.
But it's leisurely. It sounds like we're just remixing tennis.
We just played tennis.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Well, But I think tennis requires more athleticism. I don't
think I know it does. So the pickleball court is
much smaller and you stay in a little area, and
you were in to Camlyn's point, I guess you're not
supposed to be like smashing it at people.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
And stuff, so right my bed.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Even though I have heard you referred to as the
Venus Williams of pickleball in the community, in the Pickaball community,
I have heard you referred to as that. Yeah, I am.
I failed to mention the Golden globes were last night, Cambon.
We'll get to that next in the entertainment report. And finally,
maybe you can relate to this. I think most of
us can. A motorcyclist in Florida was arrested after police
said he was caught going one hundred and seventeen on

(24:46):
a roadway on his motorcycle when obviously pulled him over.
He didn't blame speed racing. He told him that he
was driving fast because he really really needed to use
the bathroom, authoritized by the excuse, and he was taken
into custody. I mean, the only thing that you can
do in that situation is if you say that you
have to use the bathroom that badly you were doing
one hundred and seventeen miles an hour, you have to

(25:07):
immediately crap your pants, you like, because well, now I
got pulled over, so like you know what I mean, Like,
if you say I have to go to the bathroom
so badly proven then they stop you. You're not gonna
be able to get through a full on interrogation and
arrest without going to the bathroom, you know what I mean.
So like, at that point, you have no choice but
to pee yourself. And then when they're like why did

(25:28):
you pee yourself, You're like, because I told you I
had to go to the bathroom, and if you hadn't
stopped me, none of this would have happened. So I
don't I think that's what you have to do that
because if I say like, oh my god, I have
to go to the bathroom so bad that I have
to drive that fast, and then you know, an hour
and a half later, I'm sitting in a cell and
I still haven't used the bathroom, then I lied to you. Yeah,
you know.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
That would be me.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
I would one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
It's happened.

Speaker 6 (25:51):
I have gotten pulled over before, but I've had some
close calls in the car, so I definitely would understand that.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
That's because you're doing muck bangs in the car.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
You know, what's the price of business.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, Well, you sit there with your little table that
you downloaded your car table, but you download it from TikTok. Yeah,
you binge taco bell. I mean, for some reason, you
want to know why halfway home? Here's the bathroom. You're
doing one hundred and seventeen miles an hour. It's National
Clean Off your Test Day, It's National Pharmacist Day, and
it's kiss a Ginger Day shows on. Okay, people are

(26:24):
messing with me. In the text, I think someone said
it said Padel paddell that paddle okay, because paddles p
A D D L E and this is not spelled
that way. That's why I was like, is it is
that how you say it? Padel?

Speaker 5 (26:37):
I thought you were just getting cute with the spelling.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yeah, yeah, that's how I say it. Yeah you say Padel, Yes, yes, yes, yeah.
I know you just every week. I know you just
put a Padel a Padel court in your home, right
next to your football viewing room that you just builds.

Speaker 9 (26:55):
Entertainment report is on the press show.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
The eighty third Goal and Globes went down last night,
hosted by Nikki Glazier, where One Battle after Another and
Adolescence both came out on top with four wins each.
One Battle after Another was that one I told you guys,
to watch with Leonardo DiCaprio. Tiana Taylor, who won Best
Supporting Actress, her first Golden Globe. I believe really powerful,

(27:19):
amazing speech. She looked beautiful, but I think she like
always has to. I don't think it's impossible for her
to not look amazing and beautiful.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
And then, did you guys who all watched in the room?

Speaker 2 (27:30):
You watch Kiki on Instagram?

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Okay, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Does that count? I just watched the highlights at four
o'clock this morning? Does that count?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Sure?

Speaker 5 (27:38):
Jason? Did you watch No, Oh my goodness morning?

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Okay? All right, well done?

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Perfect?

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Because I did the sixteen year old after Owen Cooper.
He won for Adolescence, which has I have not watched Adolescence,
but it was winning a ton of awards, but he
he broke a record. He became the youngest ever to
win the Supporting After Award. And his speech was so
cute because you could tell he couldn't really figure out
if this was real life.

Speaker 5 (28:03):
And he told this story about how.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
He was the only boy in his acting class and
he was really nervous and it made him feel really embarrassed,
but he pushed through it, and he took a chance
and then he won this golden globe.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
So it was really really cute.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
I watched Adolescents. Let me look here, because yeah, you know,
I watched stuff and I reached stuff and then I don't.
I go through fast and I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
People are a lot of people are talking about it,
but I have not watched it. I kind of want
to now because it was winning everything.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Well, and it's rare that I get to something before
it gets big. Usually I'm either with everyone or like
way late, and then I go, guys, did you hear
about Padel?

Speaker 9 (28:39):
Right?

Speaker 1 (28:41):
No, I did watch Adolescents.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
He did it with the good.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
I thought he was the boy was very good. No,
it was good. It was good. It's a it's a
slow watch and if you see you know what I'm like.
I don't know. I guess I watched it. I was like, okay,
and then the ending, I was like, really that's and
then it won all these awards and I thought the
acting was really good. I just sort of it was.

(29:06):
It's kind of dark and slow, and again I don't
I don't remember. I remember being disgruntled by the ending
if I if I recall, but this was I probably
watched it well over a year ago, I think so. Anyway,
But yeah, congratulations to him because I think he's won several.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Things for this Okay, yeah, I just know it was
his first glow, but he he was really cute.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Now, I thought the.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Show was pretty good, but if you are a d D,
it was difficult. So you know how like the presenter
will announce an award and then as the winner's walking
up to the podium, you kind of just watch them walk. Now,
they thought that that was too much idle time, so
then they had two commentators talking about things as they
were walking up. So it was just a lot for
my brain to process. Oh no, but I do like

(29:47):
this show because it's a little bit more loosey goosey,
Like I feel like people get a little tipsy as the.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
Night goes on. Now, I can't believe we were left
out of.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
The best Podcast category because that was a new at.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
The Garden glow at the ye alone, next year is
our year. Next year is our year.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Okay, but they entrusted Snoop Dogg to introduce that the
winner for that, and I think we for once saw
that even he has his limits.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
But the real winner I'm high right now. Y ahead,
he damn lo the winner is good. Hang with Amy Poet.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
He like he was reading and he started giggling and
then was like spinning around. I'm like, oh, he's too high.
I never thought I would see that in my life.
It was really funny.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
And then Amy Poehler joked, it's just how I always
imagined it Snoop Dogg's here, I'm winning a podcast or
it was very funny. Nikki closed out the night with
a tribute to Rob Reiner. She wore a spinal Tap
hat in honor of the late actor director, who was found,
of course, stabbed to death with his wife at their
home in California on December fourteenth.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
She said, well, that's our show.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
This one went to eleven, and that was a reference
to a classic line from his nineteen eighty four rock
and roll mockumentary, So thank you for an amazing night,
before quoting spinal Tap again, I hope we found the
line between clever and stupid.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
So I thought that was a really nice way to
wrap things up.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
And we'll talk more about the award show throughout the
morning real quick, Mary and Morris that she's pulled back
from traditional country music. She thinks the vibe in the
industry has gotten too tense for her, also mixing politics
even though she still loves music, wants to stay in Nashville,
she loves that itself. But she got really candid in
a TikTok just saying that she's grateful for what the

(31:36):
genre gave her, but the atmosphere around award shows and
industry events has grown very heated on friendly at times,
especially as things started overlapping in the music scene. And
this comes with her own life changes. She's now a
single mom, and she said that she just wants to
discover different kinds of music, and she's kind of always
been a little more poppy as well, but she got

(31:59):
very vulnerable was sharing that. And lastly, Miss Dolly Parton
won't be attending her own eightieth birthday a celebration at
the Grand ole Opry on January seventeenth, a special show
planned just two days before her milestone birthday. Instead of
being there in person, she will share a heartfelt video
message thanking fans and performers for lending their voices to

(32:19):
honor her legacy and saying she will be sending all
her love from Afar there's gonna be lots of tributes
from iconic country singers.

Speaker 11 (32:28):
But that makes me a little nervous. It writs me
a little nervous. Now, no one said anything, but I
don't know. Why could she go down just text me
or something. She doesn't even have a phone.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
But okay, I don't know. It makes me a little nervous.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
But she will be sending a video message, and she
has not explained why she won't be there. But remember
she also postponed her residency, so.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Maybe she's just not up to it. Maybe she's, you know,
just resting. You know, she's okay.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Yes, she's totally fine.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
I think it happened to her. She'll live forever. It's fine,
it's fine.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
Perfect, We're all good.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Don't worry. Don't worry.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
I'm a little worried, but we're good.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
She's put down your stop making graphics, Kiki. I've been
done with it. Here's the story, and all of a sudden,
she's starting to build graphics. Get off of Getty images.
We don't need any pictures of Delli. Partner's fine.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
I'm done joking around. You won't touch me joking about Dolly.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Nope. If you're near to the show. Kiki's in charge
of our social media, and every time she was really
getting ahead of making graphics for people's untimely deaths. But
sadly she was right. She was predicting. She was predicting
people dying. So stop, So we just stopped with the graphics.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Now, yes, we're dood We're I'm not missing around with Dolly.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
I would not survive that.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
If you are a new friend and you want to
catch up on anything you missed from the show, we
put it all up there on the free iHeart Radio
app to search the Fred Show on demand.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
I do remember this about adolescence, that show you were
talking about. Each episode is filmed in one take. I
could remember. It couldn't have been the whole thing, but yeah,
each episode was one take, which if you can imagine,
like that's that's that would be so stressful beyond imagine,
like and I wasn't. There was an episode of The
Bear that was at least one that was that way too,

(34:13):
where the whole thing was filmed in one take. And
can you my anxiety. I'd be the guy in the
last scene if I messed this up, you know what
I mean, Like I'm gonna I'm gonna screw this up
and the we're gonna do the whole thing over again.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Because of me, I would have an intestive thought and yeall,
like an inappropriate word or something, because my brain told
me I had to that we do this show.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Right, well, you can tell right everybody knows. There's no doubt.
This is not the produced thing. It's the Frend Show. Good,
good morning, Thank you so much for having us son.
Welcome to Monday. We're on the radio. Run the iHeart App,
on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, search for the Frend Show. Onto man,
if you want to take a second, give us a
follow in the spots and I don't know, like a

(34:54):
a little like a courtesy like somewhere you know, like
just double tap on something like you know why you're
doing it.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Wouldn't that be nice? Kiki might as well please yes?

Speaker 1 (35:03):
And on the iHeart App, we got the new highlights
tab even more behind the scenes. Freadshow content is their

a trip for two to the July twenty fourth show,
a two night hotel state at Flamingo Hotel and Casino
in Las Vegas July twenty third through the twenty fifth,
and round trip airfare. Text breakaway to five seven seven

(35:47):
confirmation text will be sent standard message and data rates
may apply. All thanks to Live Nation. Here's The Fred
Show one O three five Kiss FM, Chicago's number one
at music station. Welcome to Monday. Everyone Bears win. Over
the weekend, Kiki discovered football. She thinks every football game
is like that, yes, and it shouldn't be. The Bears
this weekend were like me in like most of high school,

(36:08):
and like most of school, where it was oh my god,
I'm gonna get to see uh oh, I better try
And then all of a sudden, like the last couple
of tests aa and then I get a B somehow
or B minus and the teachers are like where did
that come from? How'd you do that?

Speaker 8 (36:23):
Like?

Speaker 1 (36:23):
What if you did that the whole time? Maybe you
go to Harvard or something, but I never did that.
I just I can't do this with the emotional up
and down, Kiki, I can't do it, Like I just
we got the Rams this weekend Sunday at Soldier Field.
We just need to do what we did at the
end of the Packers game the whole time. Boom done,
will win.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Yeah, but sometimes you have to let people doubt you,
you know. I saw people leaving the stadium. I saw
people on social media trashing our bears, and then they
had to retract all those words and come back and apologize.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
So sometimes you gotta let people think you're the underdog.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Yeah, it was it one of being an amazing game
in the end. And if you're someone who left, and
I guess I could see why because I getting DMS
and people saying they turned the game off when it
was twenty one three. I don't really blame you for
that either, because it's like I can't watch this, like
where is this? Where's the team? It's sometimes really really
exceptionally good, and they showed up in the last five
minutes and scored eight thousand points in one somehow. But anyway,

(37:15):
just stop, stop with this, like, just please get it
together this week. Don't don't don't make us do this
every single time, because I'm afraid we'll come up short
if we keep waiting until the last five minutes of
the game to start playing really well. Yes, but they
are playing the Rams in Chicago this weekend at Soldier
Field this week on the show Talk Back for tickets,
it's Ed Shearing tickets. We'll give you a keyword that

(37:36):
you needed eight forty and then jump on the iHeart
app and listen to one of three five Kiss FM
on there, click on the red microphone and then leave
us some message with your name, where you're listening and
the keyword that we give you at eight forty for
a chance to win Ed sheeron tickets Disney on Ice tickets.
Also Thursday, it's the Bruno Mars Thursday ticket takeover. I

(37:57):
was just being dramatic. Oh sorry, maybe you were waiting
for the because sometimes I que you to do your
whole thing, So go ahead and do it.

Speaker 6 (38:06):
Uh, Thursday take a take over.

Speaker 12 (38:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
That's what I was looking for. And one more thing
while you're on the iHeart Radio app a chance to
see Kelly Clarkson in Las Vegas. All expense is paid
if you listen to Fred Show on Demand, which is
our podcast on the free iHeart Radio app. That the
instructions are right there will tell you how to win.
And I think the original plan was to make people
listen for a few minutes before they got the But
I think we just put it right in the beginning,

(38:32):
don't we.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
We're supposed to hide it, so we'll we'll table that.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
I'll be honest. It was a gimmick to make people
listen a little bit longer, but I don't think we
were necessarily getting that. So you may not have to
listen for long at all in order to win your
trip to Vegas to see Kelly clarks And it's the
Friend Show on Kiss Morning.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
The inside of my booty cheeks probably you know they're.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Used to it, the inside of your booty cheeks.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Well, you know how your hand like callouson?

Speaker 1 (39:00):
So I mean.

Speaker 6 (39:01):
Stist is Jack Harlow on Kaitlin in the Morning, Yes,
Morning everyone, Monday, January twelfth, It's the French Show.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
I'll step aside, It's fine I didn't really feel like
working that art to day anyway. So Caylen take it
away morning, Calen.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
For our new friends. Yes, that does exist. What you
just heard.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
That's a thing, which one that Caylen in the morning
or Booty Chase, just.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
All that put together is a thing that was made
at one point.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
No, I think it's good. Yeah, I think it's I
think that's all we got from Jack Carlow. By the way,
was what's that line? So yeah, it's good. It was great. Hi, Jason,
how you doing here? You Paulina, Good morning, I'm great.
I'm great. I'm stressed to my team. Some lost someone
some some cut it too close. Kinky loves football now though.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Yes I love it.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
It's not supposed to be like that.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
I mean it was entertaining, honey, better than the.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
House, Yes it was, yes, yes, well now watch out,
some would disagree with you. There, Oh Bitchelly will be
here just a minute, nine hundred and fifty bucks in
the showdown in about twenty minutes. If you beat our
pop culture expert in five questions a snapper twelve game
win streak, then nine hundred and fifty bucks is yours,
waiting by the phone. He's new. And next, why did
somebody get ghost? It will investigate blogs are audio journals

(40:15):
and the Entertainer Report all this hour and we're commercial free.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
What do you have, k Well, there's a messy little
actress who is going viral because the camera may have
caught some things at the Golden Globes last night. Also, Kiki,
I know you just got into this football world, but
someone is coming for your coach.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
What yes coming from Ben Jonson? Guys, go job, yes,
don't give me round them?

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Okay, yeah, yeah, people are upset with him, but I
got another little football thing. Maybe we'll do it at
the same time, little football clip. The people are upset about.
I don't know why, but people are. People are always
upset about something. I was gonna wait till tomorrow, just
when we had a full picture. But that's okay, it
doesn't matter. People want they're demanding Jason's picks for the

(41:00):
second round of the playoffs this weekend, and so I
didn't get to them because we've still got one game.
We've got Texas and Steelers tonight. But that's fine, Jason.
You don't even need to know the outcome of that game.
So let's just let's just skip right ahead. Saturday. Excuse me, yes, Saturday,
January seventeenth, This Saturday, Bills Broncos.

Speaker 6 (41:17):
Oh am, I saying, oh wait coming up? Or what
this past weekend was coming up?

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Well, I don't know which one are we doing? Are
we doing what you already did it? We're past that,
we already know. Okay, got it?

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (41:28):
I thought, are we moving forward? Are we going backward?

Speaker 8 (41:30):
No?

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Which one? Did you want to know?

Speaker 6 (41:31):
Looking backward? Because I did not do well? So let's okay.
The first thing Bella told me this morning was your
pick stock. That was like, good morning to you. But
for this weekend coming up? I like the bills.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
I thought were I thought we were doing future pics here,
but never mind bills. You like the Bills? Four nine
ers at Seahawks.

Speaker 6 (41:51):
Ummm, fine, Bella pick the four nine ers.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Oh that's a controversial pick, but it's not around here
because bell of course are our producer, is a big,
big fan of the four nine ers. Now we haven't
We don't know that the winner of the Texans or
the Steelers game, which is tonight, but forget about it.
Texans Steelers Patriots, which which one.

Speaker 6 (42:10):
Oh boy, three way. Let's go with the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Okay, so they have to win tonight and next week,
so they have to win twice. But exciting. And then
Rams Bears, I don't you know what to do? Bears baby?
All right, there you have it. So those for the
people who wanted up any right, and then last the picture,
that's the team that Bet Johnson coaches. Your your your coach.

Speaker 2 (42:37):
Yeah that's right.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
So my team, let's tell.

Speaker 9 (42:41):
Yeah, they talk better than the excited. These are the
radio blogs on the Fred Show.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
I can tell you're you're really invested. You're a you're
a new woman.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Sorry.

Speaker 4 (42:52):
How to make a parlay par sleigh parslay play you know,
I'm trying to get down with apps whatever they girl
here piking go slow like, let me, is it too
late for fantasy teams?

Speaker 1 (43:13):
Actually, you're gonna slagh if you do it.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
You need second place to see you again? Okay?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
You know what, it's always the kikiS that win win
in the fantasy football because it's like, just discovered football
also has the best fantasy football team somehow, that's correct.
You're the same person that wins all those NCAA March
Madness brackets too. Just discovered basketball wins the whole tournament.
Like that's how it usually goes, like writing in our diaries,
except we say I'm aloud. We call them blogs. Jason

(43:44):
Scott one.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
Go yes, thank you, dear blog. So I had a
situation last night and I'm trying to You're going to
have to tell me what to do because I guess
no matter what, I'm supposed to bring food home for Mike,
my significant other, at home, even though he says he's
in hungry. So I I went to visit my parents.
I made the drive last night to go see my parents.
Mike was working on stuff for his work, so he

(44:05):
didn't come with me. But before I left, I was like, okay,
I'm leaving, and he's like, okay, Well, if they want
to have dinner or whatever while you're at their house,
like go ahead and eat. We went out to breakfast late,
like I'm not hungry, like it is, you know, it
is what it is. I'm not gonna eat. I was like, okay, cool.
So I ended up eating at my parents. But then
as I was driving home, I passed to McDonald's and
I was like, I want a snack wrap. So I

(44:25):
pulled in got me a nice little ranch snack wrap,
a little Dike coke, had a little girl dinner, and
then drove home and I get home and he's like,
what did you eat your parents? I was like I
needed my parents. He's like, did you stop for something
the way home? I was like yeah, I thought to McDonald's.
He was like, oh, that must be nice, that sounds good.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
I was like, ah time, so old ass time. I'm
not hungry. I don't want any fries. I don't want anything.
And then all the fries right.

Speaker 6 (44:55):
So I'm like, well, did you want something? He was like, well,
you could have brought me something. I'm like, you said
you weren't hungry before. I love You made it a point.
I didn't even ask you. You made it a point
to go out of your way to say without me,
I'm not gonna eat.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Wow, so well as old as time?

Speaker 6 (45:11):
Do I just bring home a big Mac just to
like say, And what happens when he doesn't want it?
Then it just goes to wasteing us? Is that what
we're doing?

Speaker 2 (45:18):
You really are dating me? And it's really scary. It
is crazy because I play this game as well.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
No Timothy O texts, hey, would you want you, I'm out,
would you want something? You want something? I'm like, no, no,
I'm good. And then he'll come home and I'm like,
you didn't bring me anything. You didn't bring me anything.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
You didn't So what I want? What's the point of
the game. What's the pointed again? To see me like
to see if he's going to defy you? Is that
the point of the Is it the point of the
exercise to see if he's not listening or to see
is him doing what you tell him not to do?
Does that show he cares? Because this is a very
confusing game that I can hardly even describe.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
It's a wild game.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
But it's like when you're in a relationship, a committed relationship,
you do not order for one on ever, you.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Don't say like it's just against the rules.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
You have to consider the other person, even if I
say it on wanting thing right to do something.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
But he did consider the other person. He asked you
what you wanted, you said nothing, But.

Speaker 5 (46:13):
As a partner, you should know that I'm full of crap.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
And then I'm gonna.

Speaker 5 (46:17):
Want to eat a little later. Like men used to
go out and hunter and gather and build.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Hunters, I used to Hunter all the time, big mag.

Speaker 5 (46:27):
Yes he didn't want to eat it.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
See you And if you want to know Donald right,
tale is so old as time. By the way, it's
the same person who says Hunter, who inspires that no,
because then I can see bringing something home and being like,
well that was wasteful, I didn't want anything, or what
you think I'm fat? I mean, I don't know. I
could just I could see this. I could see this

(46:50):
going in a lot of ways.

Speaker 6 (46:51):
Right, well, now you're gonna make me lie because first second,
I was like, I didn't stop for anything, and I
know sometimes you'd be creeping on find your friends. So
I'm like, well, I'm not gonna get caught up in
this lie. So I was like, you know, well, we'll
tell the truth.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
This is what happens. True, I will say if I
go get food, and especially with I mean, I think
the fries are a good example. It's like, do you
want fries and I don't want fries. I'm getting fries
for you because you know they're like however much they
are a couple bucks. And when I get home and
I suppose you eating my fries, I know you wanted.
Then you have some but a whole meal. I'm supposed

(47:24):
to just invent a whole meal for you when you
told me you weren't hungry. I don't think that's I
was about to say, I don't think that's fair. But
I think we know that. I think we know what's
fair and what's not fair. Yeah, but speaking of food,
I have one. And I'm always afraid to tell you
these foot and mouth stories because well, I'm pretty sure

(47:44):
you're going to agree that I put my foot in
my mouth. But yet I meant nothing. Okay, I met nothing,
you guys, deer blog. I went to eat last night
with a friend of mine and we're eating, and we
have dinner, and you know, obviously there's a server and
she's very nigh some serving. She's hunting. She was hunting
for us, she was hunting for food and she found

(48:06):
right she was doing what servers. She was a server
and she was serving.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
It was crazy to eat, right, right.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
I went to eat, and we eat, and then I
give it a server and she served. Well, no, she
didn't have to get our own food. But anyway, so
I ordered dessert for the table because they have this
this very famous dessert, and I don't normally order to dessert,
but I do, and this dessert is it is pure sugar.
It is a little like vanilla caramel cake. And it

(48:36):
is famous at this restaurant. It's very well known, but
it is it is just like you can only have
a couple bites. I bet you it's two thousand, I
bet it's twenty five hundred calori. I mean, I bet
it's insane. It's butter and sugar and ice cream, and
it is delicious. And I ordered this and we're eating
it and whatever, and she comes over and she comments

(48:57):
on it and whatever, and she goes sum me to
the effect of, I have eaten more of those than
I would like to admit, because she works there, and
so I would imagine that you would indulge in that
kind of thing. And my instant response was, man, if
I worked here, I'd be like thirty of you, meaning
I would be like thirty times her size, which is

(49:18):
obviously an insane embellishment. And she looked at me and goes,
thank you, I think, and then kind of walked away.
Oh jeez. And the woman that I was with, I
was like, she doesn't just does she understand what I
just meant? And the woman who I'm If it were
a guy, I wouldn't necessarily agree with his perspective. But

(49:39):
she was like, oh, no, I know what you meant.
You meant that you would be like a monster, like
you would be you would be like huge if you
worked here and eight those all the time. But all
for the last twelve hours, all I've been thinking is
does this poor woman thought that I was saying she
was fat or something? Because her reaction was such that
it that it was a mean thing to say, as

(49:59):
a a mean thing to say, is it.

Speaker 6 (50:03):
I don't know it was territory, I probably wouldn't go
in right, But.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Jesus, what I mean, Like, what do you mean that's
that's not even a real thing. I didn't say that
would be twice your size. I didn't say it would
be five times your size. I just had to be
fat like you. I said thirty times you were size.
That's not a thing.

Speaker 2 (50:20):
That's what she heard.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
So you can't, like, you just can't. Now, I just
can't even say anything like that, Like nothing like that,
even if it's completely fanciful and made up. I just
I can't even do that.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
Now I'm trying to figure out what the issue is
where's the insult?

Speaker 1 (50:38):
But I all, thank you.

Speaker 3 (50:39):
I'm a little slow, so if I'm getting it wrong,
somebody helped me out.

Speaker 4 (50:42):
But I I don't think you had ill intentions. It
just I don't know anytime you mentioned anyone's size or
anything like, I could be your size one day or
I could be thirty times just it's just depending on
what her insecurity was that day and how she took it.

Speaker 1 (50:59):
But if I said, your man, i'd beat your size.
If I, well, that's that's like, that's awful, that's that's
not a compliment. But to say something as ridiculous as
I'd be thirty times your I mean, I don't care
if you're one hundred pounds thirty times your size is
three thousand pounds.

Speaker 5 (51:16):
Yeah, it's right, real like, because she.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
Was saying, like, I eat a ton of those because
I work here and they're good, and you were like,
if I ate a ton of those, I would eat
even more and I would be you times thirty because
you right now is great and you already eat a
ton of those.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
Right right. I just I don't even think it was
open for interpretation because it was just so ridiculous. But
I think, yeah, right, exactly. The point was if I
worked here and they serve those and I ate as
many as you're describing, I would be dead, is essentially
what I'm saying, because you can't. I don't know, so,
if anything, I thought it was a compliment. I don't
care how big or small you are if you eat

(51:51):
two thousand calorie desserts every day and you look not
like you're going to explode, which she didn't. Very pretty woman,
very fit. There was no issue anyway, So I just
felt I felt bad for the last twelve hours, and
luckily I was there with a female whose opinion I trust.
But I was like, hey, there was that did I did?
I was that bad? I apologized and she was like, no,
I know exactly what you met, what Kalyn just described,

(52:14):
But now I feel like it's hard to be like
I do. I'm not saying it was funny, but like
I'm afraid to say anything anymore because I like, I
don't want to hurt people's feelings. But I guess I
didn't think I was.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
Now you banned from the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
Yeah, well, good thing. I won't be able to eat
any more of those two thousand cavalry deserts and so
you know I can't go back now, all right, she.

Speaker 9 (52:38):
Wasn't ever been left waiting by the phone.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
It's the Fred Show. Hey Carter, good morning, Welcome to
the show. How are you hey? Good morning guy. So
what's going on with Brianna? I got your note here?
It's waiting by the phone. We're trying to figure out
if you've been ghosted. We need the backstory though, how
did you guys meet? Tell us about any dates you've
been on and then you know what's happening now?

Speaker 8 (53:01):
Yeah, I'm like, man, you guys gotta tell me what's
going on with her? Basically we just, man.

Speaker 1 (53:07):
A dating app went out one time I was hoping.

Speaker 8 (53:10):
For it's gonna be twice. Basically, you know, we just
I would say we probably talked for a couple of
weeks beforehand, just kind of messaging, and then we were like, hey,
let's grab drinks.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
So pretty common story there.

Speaker 8 (53:22):
Right, ended up bar hopping, which was like super fun,
just kind of like you know, doing the thing, like
see a lot of different places, traveling whatever. Right, I'll
admit that, you know, the night's a little bit fuzzy
towards the end, there. I had a great time. Really,
nothing crazy happened, Like there's no big event, there's no

(53:43):
like what like, yo, that happened and you didn't mention it,
like I'm this like.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
A normal thing and she just is like radio silence.
As a guy with self diagnosed anxiety, the fuzzy part
makes me nervous, you know, when you wake up the
next day after the date and it's like what, you know,
you had a couple of shoot too many and you're like,
uh oh, you know. And I used to be a
big drunk texter too, you know, and I'd wake up
and be like, oh no, the worst, you know, Like

(54:07):
what am I? Oh no, I don't know. I gave
that up. I don't know what happened. I guess I
grew up and I became disciplined or something. But yeah,
it's a bad thing. But you don't think anything happened,
like for the most part, it was all about board
you're because you're calling us so like if you well
that doesn't mean much. But I you know, I don't know.
You don't think anything crazy happened. Like you're actually really
confused as to why you haven't heard from Brianna again, right.

Speaker 8 (54:29):
Bro, No, like I check the receipts, like all of
my texts are normal and not weird, like every playing
I didn't send any like photos like everything fine.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Okay, Well, let's play a song and come back as
we always do, and we're gonna call Brianna. You'll be
on the phone at the same time. We're gonna ask
these questions on your behalf, and you're welcome to jump
in at some point after we get you some info.
And the whole, as always, is that we can straighten
things out, figure out what's going on, set you guys
up on another date and pay for it. I bet Hey, Carter, Yeah,
all right, welcome back. Let's call Brianna. You guys meant

(54:59):
on a dating app. You want to the date. You
felt like everything went really well, as they always do,
except you have reached out to her to plan a
second date and you have not heard anything, no response.
She hasn't called you, she hasn't responded to you, and
you're confused. You want to know why. Yeah, nothing, bro,
all right, let's call her now. Good luck. Carter, appreciate
you hisus. Brianna. Yeah, hi, Brianna, good morning. My name

(55:32):
is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show, the Morning
Radio Show. The whole crew is here. I have to
tell you up front, we are on the radio right now.
I would need your permission to continue with the call.
You can hang up at any time. Why. Yeah, I
know it's a strange thing to get a call like this. No, no, no, no,
and we appreciate you taking the time. We're calling on

(55:54):
behalf of a guy named Carter who wrote us a
note and he said that you guys had met recently
and gone on a date. Do you remember meeting him? Yes, Okay,
there it comes the story. There's always a story in there.
So he told us nice things about you and about
the date and felt like everything went really well and
was trying to get a hold of you for another

(56:15):
one and he says you're not responding. He's confused as
to why he can't get a hold of you. So
where we come in is that, you know, we're trying
to act as the middle person here and figure out
why why are you not calling him back? I can't
believe he reached out to you guys.

Speaker 7 (56:32):
Okay, yeah, he.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
It was horrible.

Speaker 7 (56:36):
It was horrible, to be honest. I think I'm pretty
much done dating after wow.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
Wow, she is retiring from dating after the date with
Carter that he thought went, well, what did he do? Yeah?
Subtle in for some tea?

Speaker 7 (56:56):
Yeah, no, okay, So you know, we went bar hopping
on the day. We went to a few different dive bars.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
It actually was.

Speaker 7 (57:07):
Going pretty well, like we you know, we met on
a dating app, which I'm a little bit, you know,
leery of anyway, but but yeah, like bar hopping. But
then we get to this last bar and the bouncer
outside said something like like I almost didn't recognize you

(57:29):
with your shoes on, and the vibe turned weird, And
of course I'm like, well.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
What does that mean?

Speaker 7 (57:37):
So I asked him about it when we got inside.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
And he says that.

Speaker 7 (57:45):
A couple of years ago, I guess he was like
really broke, and that bouncer at that bar offered him
two hundred bucks to let him tickle his bare feet,
and so I swear to God, and they they went
into the bathroom of the bar and Carter let them.

Speaker 1 (58:07):
Bouncer tickle his feat.

Speaker 7 (58:10):
And he's telling me this story like it's funny and
like it's no big deal, and.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
It's so so wait a minute, I got to make sure,
I understand this.

Speaker 4 (58:20):
So Carter money.

Speaker 1 (58:27):
So the bouncer was like, I give you money if
I can tile you.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
So you approached him.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Yes, okay, And so I'm.

Speaker 7 (58:36):
Not a harder sure how that went down, but I
do know there was money exchange for tickling of feet
and that he was broke.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
So I don't really want to know him. More details
we do, Yeah, let me. I forgot to mention that
Carter is here. I got so caught up in the story.
I'm very forgetful. Carter, Well, babe, maybe it was that during.

Speaker 8 (58:59):
The buzzy part was clearly First of all, I don't
fully remember that, but it did happen.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
I believe you, because but it is funny. You guys
are all let me ask a question. How do we
get from I need money so you can tickle my
feet for money? Like I.

Speaker 13 (59:19):
Don't know.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
I went to college guys and things like this to people.

Speaker 5 (59:22):
Oh he has like a thing and he offered.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
So he was like, hey, tickle my but did you
just walk up to you this man and says like,
you know if you do this.

Speaker 14 (59:30):
I was just like talking and just chatting because it's
like my local bar. I was just chatting like, man,
money is tight and to a number, and he's like,
I got to wait for you to make money.

Speaker 1 (59:44):
I love this.

Speaker 6 (59:45):
I mean about things.

Speaker 1 (59:48):
It could be could it's really weird, but it could
be so much worse.

Speaker 3 (59:52):
Even the tickle, right, he didn't like who which one
had of their feet up?

Speaker 1 (59:56):
You were?

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Who was?

Speaker 1 (59:58):
Who was the tickler? How is this? You got like
two girls? Who is on only fans all the time?
I did it one time? Like, does that make me
get you were a woman? Would it be weird? I
don't yet we did. We're not going down that road.
So you were the tickler though in this scenario he tickled.

(01:00:21):
He wanted to your feet. I'm tickling some dude sheet.
That's weird. That that would be so weird. Yeah right, yeah,
that that would be weird.

Speaker 10 (01:00:33):
Not bad.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
This is a great side hustle, Colleen. You got a
wedding coming up, Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:00:37):
We've got a paper things.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Okay, So look, so you know we all have stories
from our past. Brianna, I'm trying to make this better.
I don't know this is it could be worse. It's
a little weird, especially if you don't know somebody at all.
And this is like you know, your first impression and
you hear this, but he has a sense of humor
about it. I mean, would you consider going out with
him again? Yeah, everyone's got a little everyone's got to

(01:01:09):
pass Brianna. Some people it involves tickling of feet, and
some people that doesn't.

Speaker 10 (01:01:14):
Dude, I am deleting my dating.

Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
I don't. You guys just continue to amaze me. Week
after week. It's something, all right, So not it's not
gonna work out, Carter, Carter, that's I'm surprised that. Is
there no discretion in this world like it in a
tickling of the feet industry? Is there no discretion? Like

(01:01:39):
he didn't have to bring that up, right, you know?
Or vice versa. You can keep it to yourself like
you guys could keep it to yourself right like she
would never she'd be none the wiser if one of
you had to start talking.

Speaker 5 (01:01:50):
About it, like, is there no respect?

Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
I didn't bring it up.

Speaker 8 (01:01:53):
It's not It's not the thing that I lead with
on a first day.

Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
I'm just telling you I got good feet. I guess.

Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
So she's that you too freaky for me?

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
All right. She's not only not going to go out
with you again, she's never going out with anyone ever. Again,
that's a shame. All right, Look, it's not gonna work out. Sometimes,
I'm just like, and I can see it now people
in the comments going no way, oh yeah, there's don't. Yeah, no,
there's a way. And I'm not, I'm not. I just again,
I think that the common thing here is that some

(01:02:23):
of this stuff you might get away with it if
there was any sort of context or investment in the
other person at all. They don't. It always happened in
the first day. She doesn't know you, so it's very
easy to be like, that's weird. But anyway, I'm sorry,
it's not gonna work out. Carter, Brionna, thank you for
your time as well.

Speaker 9 (01:02:43):
Anyway, Caitlyn's entertainment report is on The Bread Show.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
This took me by surprise. Over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
Bob Weird, guitarist, vocalist and founding member of the iconic
rock band The Grateful Dead, died at seventy eight after
a long battle with cancer and related lung issues. I mean,
I feel like, even if you don't know their music,
you know the Grateful Dad, you know the Iconic Bears,
like the Multi Colored Bears. I'm sure Kiky has a

(01:03:11):
shirt with the Bears on it, but his journey began
in the sixties in the San Francisco music scene, and
then he teamed up with icons like Jerry Garcia, you know,
of course, to form what became The Grateful Band, and
they have been around.

Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
For six decades.

Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
I got to see them with John Mayer, so I'm
so glad that I was able to do that.

Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
But rip to a legend, I mean, just an iconic band,
all right.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
So both Amanda Seafred Cifred, I don't even know if
that's how you say it, but I she and Shampenn
are both going viral for their behavior at the Golden
Globes last night, but the reasons are very different. So
for Amanda, she sort of unintentionally became a meme when
cameras caught her reaction to losing Best Actress in a

(01:03:57):
musical or comedy to Rose Burn, and the clip is
going viral and she kind of quickly makes a face
before seemingly like forcing a smile and then clapping and standing.
But this split second moment launched, of course, a thousand
of takes online. People wanted to weigh in now for
what it's worth a body language expert thinks that she
was kidding, you know how, like I feel like Jennifer

(01:04:18):
Lawrence will do that a lot where she jokingly acts
like she's upset. But then later in the show, people
pointed out that Amanda appeared to clap before a winner
was announced and mouth what viewers saw as she's not
even here when Michelle Williams's name was called, and she
was not at the award show, so people are lip
reading this. Vis award shows would be my worst nightmare

(01:04:40):
because I would get caught slipping so easily. But that's
why people are talking about Amanda now. As for Sean Penn,
if you hear his name today, and maybe because he
just started smoking SIGs inside at his table.

Speaker 5 (01:04:51):
During the show. So Vanity Fair.

Speaker 3 (01:04:55):
Claims a director literally saw Sean light up inside the
theater right at his table. He I don't know, maybe
he was stressed because Nicki Glazer said that he was
slowly morphing into a sexy leather handbag was detected there
and he's committed to the bit. And this is not
if this is what was happening, this is not the

(01:05:16):
first time that this has happened in twenty eighteen, he
smoked throughout an entire interview with Stephen Colbert. He was
also at a film festival in Marrakesh at a press conference,
and he smoked.

Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
The whole way through that too.

Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
So I guess when you're Sean Pan you can just
light up inside. But yeah, there you go, Fred, we
have time for one more or are we trying to We're.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Good, We're good. We're late anyway, so take it away.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Okay, I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
Okay, So Kiki, I want you to just take deep breaths, boy,
because this may get you. You're a new Bears fan,
so this may get you a little upset, but just breathe.

Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Legendary broadcasters Dick Vitel, known for calling college basketball, called
Bear's coach Ben Johnson classless over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
Yes, So the eighty six year old took to.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Social media, which never mind, proud of him for that there.

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Following the Bears wild card comeback over the Packers, which
we've been talking about all morning, criticizing Ben for a
profane postgame rand where he repeatedly cursed at the Packers.

Speaker 5 (01:06:17):
You know, f the Packers, right, you know?

Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
His message wasn't about the comeback itself, but Chicago erased
a big deficit for its first playoff winn in years,
but also.

Speaker 5 (01:06:28):
How the victory was celebrated. So he did not like
the f the Packers thing.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
He thought it overshadowed what should have been a story
of grit and historic determination.

Speaker 5 (01:06:38):
He called him classless.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
All Right, Dick, all right, how do we feel about
saying f other two y his first a football fan?

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
How do we feel?

Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
It's just a part of the game. It's a part
of the excitement. The adrenaline is Russian. You know, screw
the Packers.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Now what you're standing with? Ben stand it would be okay.

Speaker 3 (01:07:01):
A lot of people online then started talking about, you know,
should coaches be trash talking?

Speaker 5 (01:07:07):
Should it be taken to that place? Was that you?
Was that you or Paulina?

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
Everybody's too sensitive, as we just learned from Fred's blog,
everybody's too sensitive. Okay, okay, if you can't scream at
your your team, what can you do?

Speaker 5 (01:07:24):
We just yell, you know, yeah when I'm in the
locker room. Okay, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
If you want to get to put anything you missed
from the show, you can do so on the free
iHeart radio.

Speaker 5 (01:07:35):
I've just searched the Fred Show.

Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
On to I want to play this, Paulina, and you
hit this quickly. The context here speaking of sports and
maybe being sensitive, there's a woman named Lynn Jones. She
is a Jacksonville Free Press reporter and in a press
conference after the Jaguars lost, she, as a member of
the media, said this to the coach of the Jaguars.

Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
Hitden, congratulations on real success, young man.

Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
You hold your head up, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
You guys have had a most magnificent season. He did
a great job out there today. So you just hold
your head up, okay. And ladies and gentlemen, douvall you
don't want all right, keep it going.

Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
We got another season, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
I appreciate, take care much continued success to you and
the entire team.

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:08:18):
Ma.

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
So she's talking to the head coach of the Jaguars,
Liam Cohen, and people are upset because they're saying that
wasn't professional, that she sounded like a fan and not
a journalist. And my argument would be, what the season's over,
there's nothing really. I mean, she has been and I
don't know much about her body of work, but my
understanding is she's been asking hard hitting questions all season.

(01:08:40):
These guys go on and again. I don't know about her,
but in general, the media, the beat reporters covering these teams,
travel with the teams. They're at practice, you know, they're
at press conferences daily. That she probably knows him by
his first name and vice versa. So I don't I mean,
she could have said that to him privately, I guess.
But I mean, are we that of all the things

(01:09:03):
in the media right now, we're mad about that? Right?
Come on?

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
She was just being a classy lady, yeah, you know,
wishing him well almost like what your future endeavors?

Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
Well, well, no, no, he's going to be okay. But
I mean she obviously, I mean, I don't think it's
it's surprising that she would be a fan. I mean,
she's a Jacksonville press room, but she works for the
Jacksonville Press. I mean, I guess she would be a fan.
So I thought it was actually very sweet when I
saw it, that it was very nice. I did think
in the moment, like was that the venue or is

(01:09:33):
she going to get killed for this? Because typically if
you're a journalist, you're supposed to be neutral, but why,
you know, if you support the team, if you cover
the team, if you're representing people who are fans of
the team, or if your readers are fans of the team.
I don't know any of you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
So people think her reporting is not like legit now
because they think she might have bias.

Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
Is that the issue?

Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
I suppose maybe that you could argue that she you know,
if you look at what she's says, maybe she's not
as hard on I don't know. I honestly don't know.
I don't know what the issue is. The season's over
and she had something nice to say about him. Yeah,
and you know this, this is not a life or
death of situation. This isn't political, This isn't you know,

(01:10:17):
she's not congratulating him for something. You know that, truly,
of all the things in our society right now, it
wasn't as though she was talking to a political candidate
and advocating for his position on something when she's supposed
to be representing people who may also feel a different way.

(01:10:37):
She's a Jacksonville beat writer.

Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
I would love to ask the people online, like, Okay,
what's your goal? What's your endgame for voicing this this opinion?

Speaker 5 (01:10:46):
Do you want her fire like, move on, I have
real problems, yeah, like be quiet?

Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
Yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
I don't know, but maybe I don't know reporting.

Speaker 1 (01:10:59):

know if we know objectivity either. Whatever. Eight five, five,

Speaker 5 (01:14:40):
Three two.

Speaker 1 (01:14:44):

Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
I think you can give me that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:50):
You know, what, do you consider it? I'll consider it

out this Hall of Fame quarterback for his Pizza Hut
commercial since he always pushed a healthy lifestyle while playing.
Three two Mahome Patrick Mahome, a Road Beauty lip gloss

(01:15:14):
is going fire left to people claim that it gave
them an allergic reaction. Whose company is road Beauty? And
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is sixty two today? Who did
he marry in Italy last summer?

Speaker 5 (01:15:28):
Three two noises.

Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
You got a two point five two and there are
no point five You got it?

Speaker 12 (01:15:41):

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
You got it too, brings Shelly back. Two point seven
five two point two seven five. Okay, I have bad
news for you. I do two a mout. I have
bad news. I think she's going to get a five,
but we'll see Shelley question number one, which awards show
aired last night for the Golden Globes. Yes, Brooklyn Beckham

(01:16:02):
reportedly asked his parents to only contact him through lawyers
who are his.

Speaker 5 (01:16:06):
Parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

Speaker 1 (01:16:10):
Yes, fans are calling out this Hall of Fame quarterback
for his Pizza Hut commercial since he always pushed a
healthy lifestyle while playing Tom Brady. Yeah, the guys not
a lot to eat pizza ever, that's under any circumstances.
They are. They are funny. A Road Beauty lip gloss
is going fire well after people claim that it gave
them an allergic reaction. Whose company is Road Beauty? Haley

(01:16:31):
Bieber and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is sixty two today.
He's gonna live forever because I think he might be
a robot. Who did he marry in Italy last summer?

Speaker 5 (01:16:40):
Lauren Sanchez?

Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Yeah, that's a five, that's a win. Hey, Amada, nice job.
I appreciate the effort and the intensity, but you're going
to have to say, my name is Amata. I got
showed up on a showdown, and you know the rest.

Speaker 5 (01:16:52):
My name is Amata.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
I had showed up on the showdown, and I cannot
change with the gorilla.

Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
That was pretty good for a Monday. That was good.
I think you made it so I don't have to
do it. Nice, good job. Yes, round on you. Let's
put you on hold. We'll get you some kind of chance.
We have some kind of like cried really hard price. Sure,
I'm going to talk to her. Yeah, he's gonna somehow
get you a check for nine hundred and fift No,

(01:17:23):
she is not about to have a great day. Thank
you so much for listening.

Speaker 5 (01:17:27):
Thank you. I'm part of the thirteen.

Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
I love you, guys.

Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
Have a great say.

Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Thank you, we love you, We appreciate you. I like her.
I like her too. I like her too. A thousand
bucks tomorrow, Shelly. And that is win number one thousand
and one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
Okay, nice wow, nice round number.

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
And thirteen straight games. So good job. We'll play again tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (01:17:50):
All right, sounds good.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
All right, have a good day. Ke Ky's Court. He's
up next to the Entertainer Report, Headline's Biggest Stories of
the Day, and the Fun Fact All coming up. Fred's
show back orders a fresh show. All right, the honorable Judge.

Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
Yes, let's get in the courtroom. The gavel has been
hit all right. It says, hey, kikey, am I wrong
for dating my best friend's ex after she dumped him.
My name is Danielle and I've been best friends with
Tiagan since childhood. Teagan started dating Carter in high school
and they were on and off for eight years. However,

(01:18:31):
last year, out of nowhere, Teagan said she was no
longer attracted to Carter. She dumped him and said she
wanted to experience life. Her exact words were, if he
dates someone else tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Good for him.

Speaker 4 (01:18:47):
So Carter took the break up really hard, and he
started reaching out to me because he felt like I
knew them both really well. I was just being nice
and supporting him until we accidentally slept together. Okay, after that,
that's very supportive process that Okay, After that, we realized

(01:19:08):
that we had real chemistry and we started secretly dating
a few months later. Now we're expecting a baby. So
last week I finally broke the news to Tigan, and
to my surprise, she lost it on me. She accused
me of waiting years for my turn with him, and
I had to quickly remind her that she dumped him.

(01:19:28):
Now she's telling everyone that I trapped him and stole
her future, and half of our friends won't talk to me.

Speaker 2 (01:19:34):
Am I wrong?

Speaker 1 (01:19:36):
Stole her future? She dumped him?

Speaker 4 (01:19:38):
She did dump him. She did, however for it? What
are you doing on my eggs? Like that should be
off limits?

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Girl called one on one like there are a lot
of people in this world. How did you end up
with my man? I mean, well my ex.

Speaker 4 (01:19:54):
You know, yes, I gave him back to the streets,
but that didn't mean for you to go have a
baby with him.

Speaker 6 (01:20:00):
She's on the streets and ruddy baby.

Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
Wait what was her quote again? He could date anybody
he wants, No, she said.

Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
If he dates someone else tomorrow, good for him. But
that doesn't mean I want him to date my best friend.

Speaker 6 (01:20:12):
She somebody?

Speaker 4 (01:20:13):
Oh no, yeah, he's the loyalty in the room. I
can't believe right here.

Speaker 5 (01:20:17):
That's absolutely insane.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
It's like that's to call the cops, report her right.

Speaker 5 (01:20:23):
Online, a smear campaign, right cancel her?

Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
Hold on, hold on. I mean, first of all, the
jury is you guys are the jury in the room
and of course at home eatee five five five nine
one one three five. I would not like this at all,
but and if it was a very good close friend
of mine. Then I guess I would hope that they
could see from my perspective why the relationship didn't work out,

(01:20:48):
and maybe that would not be something they would want
to engage in it. And yes, there is syft. A
thing is loyalty. I get that, but like you do
run the risk when you dump someone of them meeting
someone you know and dating them. I mean you don't. Unfortunately,
when you break up with someone, you don't get to
control their actions for the rest of their life. And yeah,

(01:21:08):
you may have lost a friend in the deal, but like,
I don't know that anyone actually did anything wrong here.

Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
Fred, I am shocked.

Speaker 1 (01:21:17):
Now I wouldn't mind. You don't have to like it, Kiki.
There's a difference between not liking something someone did and
it being wrong.

Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
Well, that's true, but you know, if I don't like
it is wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:21:28):
They've been friends since childhood, So yes, if you end
up with the girl that we had science class with, okay,
but my childhood best friend, you're dating my ex and
we were together for eight years?

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
What are you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:21:42):
Like, I feel like, come on, girl, there has to
be some type of loyalty and now you're having this
man's baby, Like what.

Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
I mean, it's that great?

Speaker 6 (01:21:52):
She said she wasn't attracted to him anymore, Like what
does it matter? Maybe they're meant to be together and
it started in high school, Like I know, there are
acceptance to the rule, but like high school relationships like
come on, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (01:22:06):
When it don't we just don't get to control people
once you break up with them, unfortunately, you know. I mean, yeah,
I think it's it's not ideal, but like you don't
get to say if if you don't want someone anymore
and they want someone that you know, then that's their right.
And and I look, I think if the girl were like,
well we should still be best friends or I don't
know why you have an issue with it, I mean,

(01:22:27):
she can have an issue with it, but like no,
like no, sure, how you doing, sir, Welcome to the show.
Good morning, Good morning, Good morning man.

Speaker 13 (01:22:40):
That's that's a number that's negative, right, ain't no way
that's cool like that that's kind of like a guy
call no if she was mine, bro, come on, we
out limits. We're not talking no more.

Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
But listen to your listen to your man, like like
it's this ownership. Things like you don't want to be
with someone, why do you care if somebody else does?

Speaker 13 (01:23:08):
Yeah, but if you my partner, if you go behind you,
I cannot do that.

Speaker 5 (01:23:19):
He's getting sad.

Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
Look, I'm a loyal guy. I Am not going to
go out and date my best friend's you know, ex
wife or whatever. But I think it says something about
the friendship, and it might say something about you if
someone chooses your ex over you. Why are we not
flipping this at all? Why are we not looking at
this from the other perspective for one second? What if?
What if this girl was kind of nutty the whole time,

(01:23:40):
and like it came down to, Look, i'm your friend,
but I don't. I don't like your behavior here, and
I think he was a decent guy. And then what
if they go off and have a nice life together. Yes,
you lost a friend in the process, but it's your life.

Speaker 13 (01:23:54):
I mean, it's true. Everybody got their own life to live.
I'm not taking out of lies. But at the end
of the day, we played in it shing together, right,
no flipping turning. Now, we're gonna always go right right,
that's right?

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
Yeah, I hear. No, I thank you, sir. Have a
good day, I think, Wow, I get it though real
personal and I'm believed well and from the other side,
I mean, I'll advocate for the other perspective for just
a second. Maybe this person was not that great of
a friend anyway, clearly, you know, maybe maybe maybe this

(01:24:36):
person was not really your your patna as as sir
would say. And and so you know what, that person's gone,
This person that wasn't all that loyal to you is gone.
Let them have it, Let them, Paulina, let them. Hey,
mel Robbins, I'm not this one.

Speaker 10 (01:24:51):
I can't let them because at the end of the day,
like I have history with this person, and then that's
my best friend.

Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
There's enough fish in the see Okay, there's enough out there.
You don't have to take my even though he's not
my no more.

Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
Yeah, people are really upset it. It's the idea of
controlling other people that I don't like. It's it. I mean,
I would not like this person that's not yours. And
that's what that person is not my friend person, That
person should not be We should not be as invested
in one another as we are. If they're going to
do if they're going to do that. But I really
don't like the idea that everybody I've ever touched is

(01:25:22):
off limits to anyone I've ever met. I just I
don't I don't like. I don't like the way that feels.

Speaker 4 (01:25:28):
This is your childhood best friend, okay, And first of all,
when we broke up, you shouldn't even be talking to
him anymore after that?

Speaker 5 (01:25:35):
What is she consoling him for?

Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
I hear, what the hell all my friends know when
they break up with that man?

Speaker 4 (01:25:41):
I know I don't know him. He can't run up
to me in the streets like, no, we're good. I
don't even talk to you after.

Speaker 1 (01:25:46):
Lindsey, How you doing, Lindsay, Hi, what did you want
to say? Welcome? Do you take it away? Kicky's court?
But this is a situation of a best friend winding
up with an ex that that was discarded. I think
we all agree that, Yeah, the primary friend discarded this person,
and the best friend wound up having a kid with him.
What do you think?

Speaker 15 (01:26:06):
I think it's it's not right girl code one on one.

Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
I actually was in the same situation.

Speaker 15 (01:26:12):
After I graduated high school, and I am no longer
best friends with her.

Speaker 2 (01:26:16):
I'm sorry, Wow, are they still together?

Speaker 8 (01:26:20):
Oh? No? No?

Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
It was a fling exactly, but I keep coming back
to you that's very hurtful. But like, this is a
person that you I guess, let's just let's say that
this person I mean, so she's not that good of
a friend to you anyway, and she wants to be
with your Actually you don't like, So goodbye to both

(01:26:41):
of them, I guess. I mean, I'm not saying it
doesn't hurt, But what I'm saying to you is what
is the point in dwelling on it or harboring any
sort of like long term. She's not gonna be in
your life anymore either way, So what difference does it make?

Speaker 7 (01:26:54):
Right?

Speaker 15 (01:26:54):
But it's so hurtful because I was your best friend
and then you're wondering, okay, that whole time I was
in a relationship ship with him, was she having feelings
for him that whole time? Or did she find him attractive?
Like then you're wondering all these things, and then all
the trust is just not there anymore. You're just and
that that breaks your heart.

Speaker 1 (01:27:12):
I'm not saying it doesn't hurt, But what I'm saying is,
do I have a right to control what happens after
I break up with somebody, and what I can control
is whether I want those two people in my life anymore,
and apparently I don't, so that sucks. I think there's
I think there are two things that could be true here.
But thank you so much. Have a good day, you too, Jessica,
or excuse me, Lindsay was good. But Jessica, we have

(01:27:34):
to talk. Jessica. Hi, Jessica, Hi, Hi.

Speaker 10 (01:27:37):
I'm Jessica. I have very strong feelings about this topic today.

Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
Yeah, what do you think? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:27:46):
So I had a best friend who I knew since
I was five years old and throughout high school and college.
She dated three of my boyfriends that I dated within
months four times, so one of them was more than one.
I kind of disconnected with her. I was as an adult.
I was like, oh, let's let's be friends again.

Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
And then my now.

Speaker 10 (01:28:07):
Husband then she kissed him on at one point as
well too when I reconnected with her, and we are
not friends anymore. So no, I think that that is
a completely valage for.

Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
Kay, and I'm sure that happened to you. But can
we connect? Can we at least acknowledge that your situation
is different from this one, and that it's clearly this
person who you were friends with was going for you,
going for the jugular, I mean, repeatedly going after anything
guy you dated. Is there not a possibility that this
person that these two were meant to be together? These
other two we're not talking about. She's not sloppy seconds

(01:28:42):
every single time. I mean, that's like that's some weird
obsession with you kind of stuff. But is it absolutely
possible that in the course of knowing that couple that
they realized that they were better off together. And by
the way, the guy didn't even do it, he got dumped.
It's not like he left her for the other girl.

Speaker 10 (01:29:00):
I just I think two things can be can be
right at the same time.

Speaker 1 (01:29:04):
Yeah, I absolutely we agree on that. I think we
agree on that. I think we had on that.

Speaker 10 (01:29:08):
No, I think more so in my situation was my
friend she just didn't necessarily have the confidence to go
and find anybody that she was that she could date
or anything like that. So I don't know if that
was the same situation. It's just more of a comfort
as I know, I like, I know your boyfriends, so
like I already know them, so when I might as

(01:29:28):
well date them.

Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
You know, goes with that saying thank you, Jessic, have
a great day.

Speaker 2 (01:29:36):
Yeah you too, Fred, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:29:38):
A lot of a lot of opinions here, Emily, Emily,
you say everybody's wrong.

Speaker 12 (01:29:43):
Oh my god, I didn't. That's how poories this was. Okay, Yeah,
so I's wrong because here's the thing. You guys are right.
That one the girl who broke up with the first girls.
It sounds like she kind of had moved on already
when she did break up with him, so like, yeah,
she doesn't can't control him. However, it's on aspect of
girl code, I think that the friend should have said
something before she was pregnant with his child, because now

(01:30:06):
she's just saying something because she's the other friends going
to obviously see she's pregnant, So like, I feel like
that would have been more respectful, and probably she probably
had such a strong reaction because she then you know,
spiral too, well, how long has this been going on?
You know, she obviously knows they've been keeping secrets in
regardless of if you know is inner life or not,
it's still someone you know you cared about for power

(01:30:27):
long and that hurts knowing that they're keeping things from you.
But yeah, everyone's wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:30:34):
Yeah, no, this isn't. I'm not arguing this is great again.
My only real issue here is this whole thing where
it's I own, I own you. Uh, no one, no
one else can be with that person. I know because
because I said so, she.

Speaker 12 (01:30:48):
Does not own him. But she definitely cannot dictate if
they are together or not. I do think she has
the right to feel hurt. She does not have a
right to dictate they they are break up or they
are together. She or you know, she does not get
have an opinion on that because she had very much
given him up already.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
I agree with it. I think you're right. You know what,
everybody's wrong, case close.

Speaker 12 (01:31:09):
Recording? Can that be my found it? Can I get
a recording of.

Speaker 1 (01:31:12):
That bread, everybody's wrong, case clothes? You're welcome to that copyright.
You a good day, Hey, I don't say it a
whole a whole lot. You're right.

Speaker 12 (01:31:26):
I agree.

Speaker 13 (01:31:27):
I thank you all so much.

Speaker 12 (01:31:28):
Have a good one.

Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
She really wanted to soak that one. In Caitlin's Entertainer Report,
He's on the bread show.

Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
K Pop demon Hunters to call them two major trophies
at the Golden Globes last night, but they were two
very big moments. After winning Best Animated Feature, director Maggie
King thinked people for believing in a story deeply rooted
in Korean culture and the fact that it could resonate
on a global scale. She added that the team set
out to portray female characters as they really are, strong

(01:31:58):
and confident, sometimes awkward or weird, craving food and occasionally
just thirsty, and a lot of people thought that was
They gave a little chuckle at that. When the film's
original song, Golden, also won Best Original Song, I mean,
how could it not, marking the first time a track written, composed,
and performed by Korean and Korean American artists have been

(01:32:18):
honored in that way at the Globes Now singer EJ
who performed the song, gave a really emotional speech talking
about how she tried to get into a K pop
group like her entire life. She said when she was little,
from the age of ten, she worked tirelessly on this dream.

Speaker 5 (01:32:34):
She was rejected, disappointed, told her voice wasn't.

Speaker 3 (01:32:36):
Good enough, and she said, now, the fact that I
am voicing characters who are in a group in a
movie is like the universe's wild way of still letting
me have that dream, and she said I think she
said rejection is redirection, which I loved, and so that
was a very cool moment. Model actress Nicola Peltz Beckham

(01:32:59):
has wiped all trey says of her in laws, the
Beckham family, including a post wishing Victoria a happy birthday
from her Instagram, so no trace of them. This purge
comes amid a really deepening family feud between Nikola and
her husband Brooklyn, and then the famous parents of course,
David and Victoria, and then his brother by the way,
Brooklyn's reportedly told his parents to only speak to him

(01:33:21):
through lawyers, and his brother confirmed that Brooklyn blocked them
all on Instagram. So things are getting very crazy. But
now wife has wiped them from her Instagram as well.

So much, that's words, so much. You know, there is
a town in Norway where it is illegal to die.

Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
What are you supposed to do?

Speaker 1 (01:34:02):
It is against the law to die in this town
in Norway. It's because they can't bury the bodies in
the frozen ground. So if they think you might die,
then they move you away. You can't live there anymore.
You have to leave.

Speaker 7 (01:34:14):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:34:16):
So like if you're getting close, you got to find
a new place before you go. I know, Like I
got that thing you should do right now. You want
me to you want me to move and die. I'm
trying to die here. Stuff, get the mo there's your
there's your fact. I know. I gotta call a moving company.
I gotta get three bids.

Speaker 12 (01:34:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34:36):
Crazy, but there is a town in Norway where it
is illegal to die. So don't even try it. Waiting
by the phone. Why did somebody get ghosted? It's like
