Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's wake up, and this is actually, I think a
difficult week. I'll be honest, I think it's a difficult week.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I think he's a tough songs so we like to
make it hard right here every now and again. I'm
sure that clip will be isolated the right show is on.
I just want to start the show by thanking Jason
Carr in West Palm Beach because apparently we're on a
bus and just like on the side of a bus,
(00:31):
we are the entire bus, or it's happening like that.
And I'm looking at this picture of us on a bus.
And for those of you who confuse the show is
on in West Palm Beach, shout out. And it's pretty tasteful.
I mean it's pink, it's very bright. But at least
it's not what our buss does to us in Chicago,
(00:54):
which is send out mailers of like me with a
hairy chest on a jet ski with a golden chain on.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Too.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Though what's the last one we did? It was embarrassing.
It was like me proposing to a listener or something
on the street. My favorite was the one where you
had like the boots with the big heel on it
in the sleigh. Do we have all those photographs? I
make a post on social so you can. I just
want I just want to thank Jason for this. This
is relatively tame, and I don't know when it starts
(01:22):
driving around, but I also want to know if it
really exists, so like I'll find out when it starts
driving around. And then if anyone is listening, which according
to some metrics I've seen, they're not.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
But if you are listening to us at West.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Palm Beach, and if you take a picture of the
said bus, and I'll give you something.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
I don't know what it is. Basically Jason will give
it to you.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Actually, Jason will call WestBam Beach and they'll have to
give you something.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
But it doesn't matter. We'll figure it out. But I'd
like to see this thing.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I may even fly down there to like stand in
front of it, because I'd like to see what it
looks like.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
FaceTime me if you run into it, like I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
FaceTime you, which so Kicky's personal phone number is.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
Bruno mar Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo the weekend and then
there's us.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
It's giving like sex and the city carry Bradshaw and
she's going to say that she makes her friends wait
in the corner for the bus to pass yep, And
she's honest, that's us.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
We're the friends on the bus. I've done a lot
of things in my career, but that one is new.
It's kind of top ten. I'm like, you know, that's late.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
It is, Come on, bro, But maybe we'll post a
picture of the bus and then it we'll post a
picture of some of the embarrassing things if we have
them still. Yeahs, there have been a number of them,
and they think they're funny, like they think they're funny
about it, you know, and they send this stuff to
people's homes and they're like, you know, win the thousand
dollars on the radio station or whatever it says. And
(02:45):
then it's like me dressed up, you know, and I
don't know what. My chest wouldn't be that hairy, even
if I let it grow, and I don't. I don't
think I could accomplish that much hair in my I'm
a little and the gold chain looks valuable. I mean,
obviously I don't have that. I work here. So anyway,
maybe you've received those at at your home and our
(03:06):
boss think that's things that's funny, and I don't have
anything to do with it. I truly don't. I don't
see it until someone hands me the mailer and goes,
look what went out, and then it's this and it's like,
oh okay. But the last one was me proposing, but
there were some issues with it, like my legs were
too long or something. They had to make my legs
because of course, none of this is real. So because
me proposing it is probably rarer than me on a
(03:26):
jet ski or on it what was it? Another one
was I was on a duck inflatable a flamingo inflatable
in the middle of the lake. Yeah, you were like
sasy Santa. That was my favorite. But the heels, which
that's way more realistic than me proposing to someone so
like that. Actually, that's a real picture from the playpen
that happened.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I have heels.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
I always wear my heels and my inflatable flamingo and
my gold chain and then my what do they call it? Like,
it's a hairy chest, like a like like a.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
What were they calling it for a while when when
you use like fake hare oh like a for your chest,
right exactly?
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Okay, Yeah, because sometimes I feel inadequate, so I just
slap it on, you know, good morning everybody, Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
No, it's nice. You know.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Sometimes sometimes we're you know, the way it is, and
then sometimes I go just full on Italian.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's amazing.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Good morning, Caleb, Hi, Jason, Hikeki, show us some money.
Next Hourbella who means here on the phone in the
tax eight five five, five nine one one of three five.
You can hit us up any time throughout the morning.
Both places on all of the social mediu search for
the Freend Show. You can watch and listen to the
show throughout the morning, and we're on Twitch now as well.
This makes me happy because I'm a guy. You know,
(04:39):
I'm a I'm a realistic person. Yes, I'm a logical person.
And you know, some would say borderline pessimistic. I just
I like to say honest and realistic. Okay, like I'm
not I'm not gonna I'm not gonna fluffy up, you know,
when there's no fluffing to be fluffed. I'm gonna I'm
gonna tell you, I'm gonna keep it real with you.
(05:00):
And that and that lends itself to a bit of
a dark sense of humor. I have a bit of
a dark sense of humor. And it turns out, guys,
if you're like me and you have a dark sense
of humor. A study suggests that people who enjoy dark
humor jokes about uncomfortable topics like death, illness, tragedy, which
is not I'm not that dark. I think my darkest
is I'm not joking about death regularly.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Oh I do. I don't joke about illness.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Maybe my sense of humor is not as dark as
I thought, because I don't think illness is funny.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
No, I don't joke about tragedy. No.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
But anyway, if you like dark humor, apparently, if you
like really dark humor, you might be smarter than everybody else.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Oh, I see that not true? Do you joke?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I mean, well, I know you joke about people dying
all the time any of the series, and then and
then you make graphics about people who might die ahead
of their death. And then once you make the graphic,
they tend.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
To diet that because because people were dying.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
You killed the Queen of England with your graphic. That
was premature. It's because you had to get that, you
had to be out there first. With your tribute to
the Queen of England. Yes, what you did? You were
first write.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
She was fine, she was standing at that meeting and
then she was just trying to make the queen look nice.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Put on the side of a bus if you really,
you know, send my girl out the right way.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
It's funny you mentioned the logo on the death thing,
because when Michael Jackson died, I was living in Charlotte
and he died. I think it was in the afternoon
it was announced that he died or the I don't
remember forever reason I know, I was at a Kinko's
at one o'clock in the morning making a and my
show started at five in the morning. But I was
making like a like a poster, like like you you
(06:41):
can go there and they can make like the posters
with the foam on the back, like kind of substantial
because I wanted to I wanted to make a in
uptown Charlotte, a makeshift memorial for Michael Jackson. So I
figured if I put the sign there and then said
that it was there that people if they wanted to
could go and put you know, like whatever, they could
(07:02):
put mementos or whatever.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Well it wound up being relative.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
It was on the news and stuff, like I mentioned
to do a nice thing, because you know, we say
what you want on Michael Jackson a lot of people.
We've learned a lot since then, but you know, I
don't know what people want to honor him. So so
I'm like agonizing at the Kinkos at one o'clock in
the morning whether I should put the logo of the
radio station on this poster because it's like I didn't.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
I wasn't looking for attention, you know, like I didn't.
I didn't.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I didn't think that was appropriate, right, So I didn't.
I just I just did it, and then I announced
that it was there, and then and then it was
on the news and I got a call and they
were screaming at me, why is the logo not on
the thing you did? And I'm like, because that's tachy,
like you know, honoring Michael.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Jackson your Instagram. You know, we didn't have Instagram, okay,
but that was but so it was and it's like
did doing people doing live shots? Local radio personality has
to contribute to Michael Jackson here in Uptown. And my
boss is just like calling me like this, this is
us where's the logo? Right? I didn't put the logo.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
It's like putting It's like putting a QR code on
my tombstone, Like we're not We're not.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
There now, right. You just reported that the other day.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Well, I just thought it was really tacky, and then
everybody was like, where's the logo? So we should take
our I'm glad that we're not doing the death posts
anymore because with our logo on them.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
I mean, we have to tail the world. We have
to report the news. They might as well know when
the news is coming to start putting on the side
of the bus that we have now hey. Researchers found
that people who appreciated dark humor tended to score higher
on intelligence tests and often had higher levels of education.
They also tended to be less aggressive and more emotionally stable.
The researchers think that's because dark humor is more complicated
(08:50):
to process. To get the joke, a person has to
understand the serious topic, recognize the irony, and see why
it's funny despite the uncomfortable subject. Her That doesn't mean
that everybody who likes dark jokes is a genius or
that people who dislike them are less intelligent. The study
only found a connection between dark humor and higher intelligence,
It didn't prove one causes the other. I will say
(09:13):
it does require like a different level. I don't know
if it's a intellect or attention. But if you're being sarcastic, right,
which of course hopefully you are, if you're joking about
like death and tragedy, you.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Know, it requires someone to like understand that you're being
start to understand sarcasm. And I don't think everyone understands sarcasm.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Now.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
I don't know if that means that they're dumb, but
it's like if if I say something and you immediately
jump to that being real and you can't process the
fact that, like, in context, I'm not being real, then
maybe that maybe that means that you're less intellectually.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
I don't know, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Like if I'm like, oh, you know whatever, and then
immediately someone's like, that's not real, So well, are you
telling yourself that.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Or you're telling me that?
Speaker 2 (09:52):
It's like I already knew that when I made this
stupid joke. But anyway, so those of us who like
dark humor, and I guess my humor is not as
dark as I thought it was, because I'm just not
cracking illness jokes every day.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
No, no, no, no, A couple of times. I mean
we joke about our dads like leaving us, like what
three times a week? Maybe we're it to four.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, but I haven't include I wouldn't have. I means
it's tragic. I guess our dad's leaving us as tragedy.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Well traumatized. But you know what, I can laugh about
it now, we can laugh. Yeah. But that's how I
process hard things.
Speaker 7 (10:24):
I need to be able to take ownership of the
bad situation or the grief or whatever, and then.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Be able to joke about it.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
It makes other people uncomfortable unless they've you know, also
got dark humor.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
But I think that's a way to process.
Speaker 8 (10:36):
Well.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
It turns out maybe you're smarter than everybody else. That's exciting.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
Congratulations, just dark and genius.
Speaker 9 (10:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
You know it's it's amazing, A little humble crack. I'm
darker than all the rest of you.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
The biggest stories of the day.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
So, the World Cup's going on, and Tiny Cape Verdie
pulled off a stunning result in its World Cup debut,
shutting out heavily favorite Spain. So Cape Verdi's a group
of violins with around half a million inhabitants. They're playing
in its first World Cup, or it's playing in his
first World Cup. The twenty tens you have to be
in Spain is aiming to win the World Cup for
(11:12):
the second time, but their coach warned on Sunday the
Cape Verdi could be one of the surprise teams of
the tournament. So like that's the kind of stuff about
World Cup that I think is cool, Like these places
you never heard of before, and they're competitive and whatever else.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
But I don't know how.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I just missed soccer, like I just missed like my
whole life, I just missed it, like it is never
I was never on a soccer team, you know, Like
I feel like every kid played t ball and soccer
and we didn't do that.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
I don't know, there was there was none of that.
What did you play as a kid?
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Did you basketball? But like that wasn't until I got
a little bit older, So I don't know. Maybe because
I didn't play soccer as a kid, then maybe I
didn't get into it.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (11:48):
I played soccer and I'm not a huge fan. I
think it's really much like it's the rest of the
world and then US with American football. I feel like
I don't feel like it was drilled. It's hard to
like go watch the game.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Or it's definitely in the last ten years like popped
up as being very mainstream.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
I don't remember hearing a whole lot about it unless
you had some European tie.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
I was gonna say, yeah, like if your mom's from
the old country like mine, then yeah, I knew about it.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
We would watch it, but I just I never like
clung onto it. I wouldn't like my thing.
Speaker 7 (12:17):
I don't enjoy watching the games. But if anyone knows
who I should bet on, let me know.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
The world loves soccerman.
Speaker 10 (12:24):
A call.
Speaker 9 (12:25):
Yeah, there's a place I love, baby, where you can.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
You can go for thirty to sixty days and come
out and okay for now. It's like when you go
to Vegas and you win the first time. It's the
worst thing. I remember I won the first time and
went to Vegas. I want some money, and the cab
drivers like, did you win? I'm like, yeah, I guess.
The worst possible thing it could happen to you because
now you think you're a winner, and you're certainly not.
I can see you. You're not a winner at all.
(12:51):
And so you think you think you're good at this
until you start gambling more, and then then you're broke,
you little brokey, and then we have to send you
to a place where they drive you out for well.
Researchers found that even light drinking can raise the risk
of health problems, including some cancers, heart disease, liver disease,
and early death. The risks appear to start increasing at
(13:12):
about one drink a day and climb higher as alcohol
consumption goes up. The study also challenged the old idea
that a daily glass of wine might be good for
your health. Research except they found no clear evidence that
alcohol provides a net health benefit even at low levels
of consumption. Based on those findings, the researchers said that
the safest choice is not to drink at all, and
for people who do drink, they recommend limiting alcohol to
(13:33):
no more than one drink a day.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I'll go ahead on with that.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
May not even supposed to be doing that, Not even
a one glass of wine, guys, not good for you.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Don't be doing that.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
So there's a search engine for finding only fans creators
called only Guider, and they use search traffic, financial financial filings,
and population data to compare one hundred and sixty seven
major US cities to see which ones spend the most
un only Fans subscriptions.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Was in the year twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
So these are the top ten cities for only Fans
spending per ten thousand people. Atlanta, number one, Number two
is Orlando. Number three, y'all, dirty dogs, is Salt Lake
City up in.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
There spending a lot of money? Holy fans. Maybe we
should be on OnlyFans if we want people in Salt
Lake City to listen to our show, maybe they find
us that way. Jason, Yeah, hey, yeah to it.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, everything's got a price, is I mean, do you
think that's a coincidence or do you think it's like, well,
you know, people say that the aspects of that place
are a little very conservative. Yeah, and so do you
think people are repressed and they're going to OnlyFans because
they can like secretly look at stuff and on their
phones and computers and maybe nobody finds out about it. Yeah? Maybe,
(14:47):
or maybe those some of those sites that you know,
I may or may not frequent maybe illegal there, you
know those there are those stags that might be I
of course don't know because when I you know, I
frequent the area, but I certainly am not using my
for those purposes.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
So I don't know. I don't remember if.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I if I couldn't you because occasionally I like accidentally
type in the wrong thing and it's like, oh my gosh,
how did I get here? Yeah, only to find in
some states you can't even look at it.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Oh can't gamble there either, Just letting you know, Okay,
there you have a problem.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Miami, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Denvers, Seattle, Saint Louis, and Las Vegas
the top ten cities for OnlyFans spending per ten thousand people.
And Amazon delivery driver was caught on a homeowner security
camera taking a cat from the California family's yard. Is
now claiming the cat was actually his own missing pet.
So the guy's name is Joshua the Amazon driver. He
(15:41):
says he recognized the cat by its markings while delivering
a package in Bakersfield. He says he had adopted a
similar gray cat in twenty twenty five for his daughter
and believed the animal that he saw was the family
pet that had gone missing. So he picked up the
cat and took it home because he was convinced it
belonged to him. But the homeowner, a woman named Brenda, says, no,
that's our cat and we've had the cat for years.
(16:04):
It felt a police report after reviewing doorbell footage that
appeared to show the driver picking up the cat and
walking away. They then showed the local media adoption paperwork.
He had a paperwork as well. So now there's this debate. Now,
what I don't know is how far away from his
house was this cat, you know, Like, I mean, I
don't know how far he lives in Bakersfield. But if
(16:24):
the cat's like, you know, tens of miles away, it's
probably not your cat. It could be, but I mean,
you can't just pick up a cat that looks like
your cat and say, hey, this is mine. Now it
looks like mine, I'm taking him.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
It turns out you can't. The controversy.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
The controversy has cost this guy his job delivering Amazon
package is. Amazon said he's no longer allowed to deliver
on the company's behalf, and that it's cooperated with law enforcement.
The Sheriff's office is now involved in this. They're investigating
the dispute and no criminal charges have been filed. But
the question is whose cat is it? I guess if
you had a microchip in the cat, then this would
be an easy problem to solve.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
But that idea, it turns out you can't.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
You if you once owned a great cat, you can't
just pick up any great cat and be like, well,
that's definitely mine.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Put it back. And a woman has been busted for
rushing home at one hundred and eight miles an hour
to make sure that she could watch Love Island. Okay,
have to hear both sides.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
She was in a rush to watch the reality show
and now she's behind bars. The Airsona Department of Public
Safety says that it had happened last week, with the
woman caught speeding south of Phoenix. The driver was clocked
in one hundred and eight miles an hour in a
sixty five when she was pulled over. She told troopers
that she wanted to get home in time to watch
Love Island. The woman, who was not identified, was arrested
(17:37):
for criminal speed and reckless driving, and her vehicle was
put into what authorities called car jail for twenty.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Days, girl, I get it.
Speaker 7 (17:44):
Sometimes I forego going out so I can watch Love Island.
It's been so long since something's like hit me that way,
And what's.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
The deal with this show comes out like daily?
Speaker 7 (17:54):
Oh my goodness, it is a full time job. That's
why I have to stay home sometimes. So it comes
out Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. They skip Wednesday. We do Thursday, Friday,
and no Saturday.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
It's pretty random. It's a commitment.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Why don't you just wait until like five or six
are all in there and then just knock those.
Speaker 7 (18:13):
Out because social ruins it for me? You know, Okay,
But like, can I watch it in Italy? Because this
is like a genuine fear, like you might have.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
To get a VPN that and for your gambling as well,
because I don't know if I don't know if you
can gambled there, so you might have to.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Get a VPN so you can, you know, I don't
even know how to say gamble and Italian.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
In like Ohio, you know, so you can log in
and the thing thinks you're what's like that, I don't know, Florida,
Like you got it. The computer has to think you're
somewhere else. But pick a state where you can do
the most you know, inappropriate thing like gamble and look.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
At porn obviously. Well yeah, I mean yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Don't mean don't. I would want to pick a state
where I couldn't. I'd be really disappointing.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Yeah. Yeah. Cain's Entertainment reports on the Fresh.
Speaker 7 (18:53):
Show, Miss Girl Olivia Rodrigo is shattering all the records,
every single one of them, after selling out nearly one
hundred arena shows for her upcoming tour. Music insiders are
buzzing that her new album You Seem Pretty Sad for
a Girl So in Love rolls right off the Tongue
could pass forty four hundred thousand in sales in its
(19:16):
debut week, breaking everyone of her own previous records. In addition,
there is serious Grammy buzz for the album already.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
If you have not listened, listen asap now.
Speaker 7 (19:28):
I think my favorites are The Cure and Cigarette Smoke.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Jason, what is begging? Begged? Begged? Literally sobbed as soon
as I heard Yeah, So if you want to try
to tor to yourself. I just love sad music. I
don't know it's sad girl, summer Friend.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, depressed summer with it, which she had girl every
day for me. But I don't like it's not seasonal.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
It's noah kun, I don't need to add gasoline to it,
like I don't you know what I mean? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
I always like to match the mood, like if I'm
feeling down, like I have to play sad music.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
I don't know what it is. Don't you ever want
to feel and cry?
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:06):
No, I feel anything that's fair. That's fair. Feeling is hard, Okay,
you guys.
Speaker 7 (20:12):
Finally, Tom Holland just confirmed that he and miss Zendaya
are married. I mean goodness, it's been forever that we've
been asking this. When he was asked about those infamous
fake AI wedding photos, Tom dropped the bombshell. He explained
that his grandma saw these photos and thought she hadn't
been invited, which is really sad, Like protect.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
These grandmas from AI.
Speaker 7 (20:35):
When Esquire magazine asked him if he was forced to
send out similar messages to any other family members, he
replied no, because they were all there, So was Grandma
not invited?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Like?
Speaker 1 (20:45):
What the hell?
Speaker 7 (20:46):
Tom? He refused to speak on the day itself. He said,
that is all you'll get on that. I really admire
how private they are as a couple. I think there's
a beautiful couple. Zendia never had a drink, does not drink,
and Tom is recently sober. I just feel like they're
both genuinely really good people. I do know that people
were getting married at one of the chapels in Vegas,
(21:08):
like you did Paulina, and she was doing promo for
that movie that just came out with Robert Pattinson, and
so they had to shoot scenes in the chapel, and
so they were able to sign a couple's wedding certificate
as witnesses, which can you like, I wanted that's so bad.
I'm like anybody for you, like I wanted a celebrity
(21:28):
to be there. I think maybe we would have to
do those like in the drunk hours of the night,
because I think that's when.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
A lot of people decided to show up.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
A yeah, but shout out to that guy who held
that iPod up.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
I don't think anyone works harder than that man. No, No,
give that man a raise.
Speaker 7 (21:41):
Yah, yeah he in him and Elvis also not shout
out for them not letting Fred be Elvis and marry you.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
That's something I was well to dress up like Elvis
if that was the requirement.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
I had a meeting with them. I had a phone call.
I said, you know, I have somebody who's willing to
do it. You know, are we allowed to you like
Kim Kardashian just did she officiated a wedding a week prior,
like can happen? And they said, ma'am, he has to
work here. So Fred was considering.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I was willing to sign up an application or something.
I was willing to do it because I'm an esteemed
wedding officient.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
A lot of people don't know that you are.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Really I went through the extremely arduous process of the
Universal Life Church. It took approximately three to five minutes.
And I have more dained and I'd be happy to
marry anyone who would like to have married multiple lesbian
couples at once.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Jason helped plan.
Speaker 11 (22:26):
That's a party and I did do that because I said,
if if if gay marriage became legal in the state
at the time, then I would I would I would
not only pay for but I would marry simultaneously multiple
game And that's what we did.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
It was the three Lesbian couples my sister and fun fact,
my parents at the time were a little unsure about
my now brother in law, who we love and cherish
and basically like.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
More than her.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
But they actually, i think thought if they weren't certainly
it was legal. They're like, why how are you able
to people? I'm like, well, because the state doesn't dictate who,
you know what. You can be whatever religion you want
as long as you sign the certificate, so they don't
really care what you do once you leave with the license.
I think they maybe thought it wouldn't be legal if
I did it, so they would be like a loophole
(23:14):
if things went portant. It turns out that the whole
thing is legal, and we're happy for that because now
he's trapped and he's going to have a hard time
getting out, and that's what we want now. Who knew,
you know, ten years ago when this all started, that
it would be him that we would want to trap,
not the other way around.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
But it turns out the whole things legal.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
So if anyone out there needs an efficient, you know,
depending on the location and the pay, I will consider it.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
He can also give last rites.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
It turns out that is something that is apparently can
be done. That was in the book that I got
with the premium package that I got for sixty nine
ninety five upgrade.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
They sent me.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
An entire book of all the different things I would
be able to do and how to do them. And
I also got a clergy parking pass for hospitals, which
I don't think I'll be using any of.
Speaker 7 (24:02):
I just want you to know, like I feel like
I'm going before you. I would like you to read
my last rights.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yeah, I think you would like someone far more chaste
than I do.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Somebody you're the preference. You would make a joke and
be like, you know, perfect time for dog humor. Yeah,
I allow it. I would allow that. What did I
get in my premium package? I was just curious?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Yeah, and I did. I got a little name tech
thing too.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Oh yeah, did you get the premium package as well? Whatever?
Like the Yeah?
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Like it gave you a book and multiple certificates and
a little name tag with a cross on it.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Why don't you read premium You can get a T shirt?
Now they didn't have T shirts to available. What does
it say?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
I'm trying to see what I got. I don't remember
get ordained get your minister's certification. I just like Benedict
cumber Bach. Yeah, and Dwayne the Rock Johnson and Lady Gag.
I wonder if they authorized them to use their names
in this way.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
Is this good for like life or do you have
to like go renew like your pilot's license.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
It's good for life as a matter of Oh fabulous.
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
So we have the classic wedding set, the premium wedding set.
I want to say I got like the big one
professional ministry set. I believe that's what I went for.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Hey, what's in the set?
Speaker 2 (25:18):
An official letter of good standing, an official certificate holder,
a protective wallet, card sleeve, vehicle license frames. I did
not get those. Wait, bro, come on with my ordainment.
I did not get those. A black or blue three
ring binder. I did get that clergy clip on badge,
clip on badge, Yes, minister's shield pin, minister pad and
(25:41):
pen set, Guide to Divinity booklet, Guide to Baptism I
know you can do, Guide to Funerals, the human Timeline
of Mythology and Religion. And then vehicle items like a
parking hangar, parking placard, bumper sticker, and window cling.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Okay, yeah, I'm still stuck at the letter of good standing.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Sign off on that church. Get out of here. It's legit.
I'm in good standing. You want me to do something
right now? And then no, I don't, not with me.
I want to wave my wand wizard too bad job,
it'll be fun.
Speaker 7 (26:17):
All right, you're a wizard, Harry, All good. I just
want to just throw this in there. Amanda Seafreed, she's ciphered.
I don't know how to say that ever, But she's
an actress and she is technically in Hollywood, but when
she's in her off time, she actually lives fifty on
fifty acres in upstate New York and she has a
farm with goats, donkeys, peacocks, ducks, cats in a nineteen
(26:42):
thirty's house that she and her family live in. So
she is one of the celebrities that are like, I
don't want to be a part of this whole thing,
and that's kind of a dream to live on a farm,
but then be able to like go into New York
when you need to for the Knicks parade where Paulina
will bets.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Robbie tomorrow eighty Thursday.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
If you're a new friend, I want to figure out
where to find us. First of all, we go live
throughout the show the parts we can afford. That's always
on Twitch and YouTube. You can type Fred Show Radio
as well as on Instagram threads the Fred Show TikTok,
and we are always available for you to rebinge us
on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
I'm soone texted I used my ordained certificate to get
into Cuba because I said that it was a religious experience.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yet so that's a thing.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Oh for some reason when I went to Cuba and
have to do this, but or maybe I did my
visa said like humanitarian purposes or something. But there are
different ways that you can go to Cuba. And I'm
an ordained minister. I wish that I had. That would
have been very helpful for me to know at the time.
But I could have been there. Oh yeah, sharing the word.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
Of Fred knock on doors. But it turns out I
can do a lot of stuff I didn't know I
could do. Kiki. So if you want me to do
a Baptist place, you're not buying it. No, add him
on over here.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
A friend is the minister, like doctor.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Trust, I trust Doctor Pepper too. Delicious it's delicious. It
is okay, guys, I want to know eight five five
three five. You can call it text the same number.
If this is a good idea. I think this is
a dating trend. You know, we like to stay on
top of the dating trends. I think this is one
that I probably have used. I just didn't know that
this was There was a term for It's called goblinsimacy,
(28:28):
like goblin intimacy. Goblin intimacy rolls off the tongue. This
is where you show up fully as yourself for better
or for worse, for a day. That means not hiding
any flaws, being upfront about your baggage from the very beginning.
The idea is that by revealing your inner goblin off
the bat, you will weed out partners who would never
be right for you in the long term. After all,
(28:49):
everyone's in her goblin comes out eventually, so why not
get it out of the way sooner than later. So
what do we think about the concept of just basically,
because I feel like what most people do in the
dating world is you put on your best face. You know, hey,
we're gonna we're gonna plan this date. I'm gonna look
(29:10):
nice I'm gonna take you out. I'm gonna, well, you
know amazing, that's great that you wear if you if
you choose to wear them, and wish I never do. Yeah,
just you know that's yeah, and so most ministers do anyways,
So under the room, Jason knows he was an alter
(29:31):
and this improv game is making me uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Now, so well I can help you with that.
Speaker 11 (29:40):
Comes to my confessional, Jason whatever he likes to tuck things.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
In those cloaks my confessional, Kik you, I'd like to
hear what you have to say. I will cleanse you,
my child. But some people and they tell you that
you're you know that they're they're normal and everything. They
don't tell you about their any whatever would damage baggage,
(30:05):
whatever they don't know. No one tells you about that.
And then you know, two, three, four, five, day ten,
however long it is, it could take years, and people
finally then begin to expose themselves. It's like they I
hear people say, I send my representatives on the first
couple of weeks of a relationship, and I left. The
crazy just slowly seep out, and then before long I'm crazy.
So and you all and now you know that, but
(30:25):
it's too late because you're sort.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Of in this. You got a kid, yeah, house right, yeah,
the Paulina roaway. So is that what you did?
Speaker 12 (30:32):
Like?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Oh yeah, so for months you acted normal and then
when do you win? Yes, I acted my asshole.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
When did you consciously shift from Paulina's representative to Paulina?
Was it after the wedding?
Speaker 6 (30:45):
No?
Speaker 5 (30:45):
I think it was after I bought my townhouse and
I asked him. I was like, I know you're gonna
be here, so like, are you moving in? Like, let's
not play games like you're moving in here, You're not,
like you're in and you're out. So he was like,
I'm moving in and I think I just got comfortable
and things just started showing my crazy, my mess He's like,
I didn't realize how messy you are and he still
married you though, Oh.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, that man loves me bad. I put my toenails
in bed, like he's seen me clips. That's not a joke.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
I clicked her toenails in bed, which is why we
broke up, because I'm like, I can't, I can't do this,
Like what is this?
Speaker 1 (31:18):
This is? This is your left tonail and I just
stumbled upon I love to see you too.
Speaker 7 (31:22):
It's like I would watch that reality show The Last
Rights right here.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah, wonderful friend.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
But the moment that you start clipping your toenails in bed,
in my bed, yeah it's not great is when we
have a problem. But I actually, I mean to a
certain extent, I don't really hate this, and I think
I do this maybe a self sabotaging, but I definitely
over the years of dating, have just sort of like,
I'm not I'm not putting on any sort of like
there is no my sense of humor, my my dry
(31:52):
sense of humor, my directness I joke about, you know whatever.
I don't see any point in lying. And people will say, well,
you're scaring people away or or they don't get to
know you. And then so some of these things that
it's unattractive, but it's gonna come out no matter what,
(32:12):
Like this is what I this is it. So what's
the point in like pretending that I'm somebody else only
for you to find out like I don't like his
sense of humor in a month or something and then
you've now are kind of invested and then or however
long it takes, I don't mind this, Like, let's just
be ourselves right up front, and if it's not for you,
then you just saved me a lot of time.
Speaker 7 (32:31):
Isn't your move to like say kind of a dicey
joke and see how they react and if they can
go with it.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Well I used to do that, but I now it
gets taken out of context. People will like screenshot it
and show their friends like, oh, look at this like
thing that was, and then half the time it's but
that wasn't that bad? You know, you you know what
I mean, Like, I don't people overreact, people don't have
people like to have fun. People are too serious, and
so I stopped trying to be like silly on the
dating when I was on the dating apps, I'd stopped
(32:58):
being silly because you don't you don't have a sense
of humor. It gets taken up of context. I'm like,
all right, well you guess what, thank you, because to
my point, we would never get along. Like if you
can't either laugh or be like you're an idiot or whatever,
then this would never work. Because I professionally every morning
come on this microphone and say stupid crap to make
people laugh or smile or make them angry or whatever
(33:19):
it is, and so if that's not for you, then
I wouldn't be for you. So so thank you for
your actually saving time this way. But I think the
problem is there are some actual creepy people on these things,
so it's hard to discern between the actual creepy people
and the pervs and the weirdos, and then the dude
who's just being sarcastic making a dry joke because there's
no context because you don't know the person and it's
(33:40):
you can't hear them talking and whatever else.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
But you think it's a good idea.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
You think it's a good idea to just come with
who you are right off the top, no pleasantries, No, no,
I'm going to clean it up for the first couple
of days and make people think I'm something that I'm not.
Like just let's just lay it out there like here
it is, because I I mean, maybe like a nice resume,
like what medicine are you to say?
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Yes, you know, like like can I get some actual
quotes from the last three people that you slept with
or dated? Like can we really get to it right,
like show me the real information, let me work with
what is I need the car facts on.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
You credit score record. Yeah, put that in there.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
Children, I need your twenty three and me. I need
all the goodies.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Yes, yes, I need your twenty three and me. Fred,
you're not getting that because I don't. I want to
see like you could be mirror.
Speaker 7 (34:30):
You could be related to like a German prince or something,
and that'd be cool.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
I am a German prince. I know a lot of
people don't know about princes in Germany, but I am
one for a long line of kings and queens and princes.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
So do we like that? We like the idea that
of this goblin make it the new hotness? What is
kitten fishing? Play it out? I wish people did this
for jobs too, Well, you wouldn't get hired.
Speaker 7 (34:56):
Then, well, what about you trying to say?
Speaker 1 (35:02):
Crazy?
Speaker 13 (35:12):
Is?
Speaker 1 (35:12):
What is this? Cat fishing?
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Kittenfishing involves telling little lies about yourself on a dating
app or in the early stages of dating, in order
to make yourself seem more attractive. Think adding an inch
or two to the height section of your dating profile
is saying that you graduated with a degree from a
prestigious university when you maybe only took a course or
fudging your age, or using old or heavily edited photos
(35:34):
of yourself.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
How is that kitten fishing? That's catfishing? Lying? You're just
trying to make it seem nicer.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
And what's the plan at the end when you actually
meet them and you realize that you're you know, five
nine and not six three?
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Right, I have eyes to see.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
I guess that's my point to all of this is
you can pretend to be whatever you want, but eventually
people are going to figure out that you're not. I
guess the thing is, how how committed? How far along
are we?
Speaker 1 (35:57):
You know?
Speaker 2 (35:57):
How much do I like other aspects of you to
where to tolerate the things that you've been hiding from me?
Is the question. And it must be a lot, because
I think this is pretty common. I think people at
first they don't really show themselves, and then over time
they do and people stay together, and I think it's because, well,
I really value this other stuff, so I'll deal with
this thing. And so maybe if you came right out
with all of it off the top, and I never
(36:18):
saw what I what I believe to be the good stuff,
that I'm not going to invest in, the in the
not so good stuff and then you move in with
them the next day. Well, yeah, you didn't get my
good choice because you'd lesbian the guy and you just
moved right in. I was like, here's all my crazy
and I'm and here are all my things in the
back of this U haul that we're unloading.
Speaker 11 (36:37):
Now.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Hey Rebecca, Yeah, hi, Harni, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
So you are you okay with the goblin Goblin timssy?
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (36:46):
Pretty much?
Speaker 10 (36:47):
So. My wife and I we met in person, and
I decided.
Speaker 14 (36:52):
I was like, you know what, it was like my
last shot.
Speaker 15 (36:54):
I guess you know what.
Speaker 13 (36:56):
I don't want to put in any effort.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I was tired of it.
Speaker 10 (36:59):
I was tired of doing. I don't want to make
up every day anyways. So I was like, you know what,
let me just try and she loved it. She was like,
that was so awesome of you, like using even care
little I did care, but.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I was like, yeah, you know what, she's gonna like me.
She's gonna like me. There you go.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
So you showed up, no makeup, nothing like, no bra
just let it all hang out.
Speaker 9 (37:19):
You just like whatever my outphit was a normal outphit.
Speaker 10 (37:24):
I did do some effort for that.
Speaker 16 (37:26):
But I have curly hair and so I just left
it like that and I didn't do any makeup, so thankfully,
my jeans are great and I have great skin, so
I don't need makeup.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
The beginning with okay, Rebecca showed up in her FBI
Federal Booty Inspectors.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Sure you were ready to go? I was ready, okay,
and it worked.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
So there's Rebecca. We have we have a one for
one case study of this, of this working where you
just be who you are authentically from the very beginning
and then nothing bad happens.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Okay, thank you, Rebecca.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Yeah, one person, one person in the study. So I
think that's the theory and it's proven, and I think
you should.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Do a more Fred show. Next. This is the Fred Show.
It is the Fread Show.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Good Morning one O three five Kiss FM, Chicago's number
one in music station. Kick Guy, It's going She sold
out Nolacan seven fifty five. The keyword will tell you
how it wins very easy. Also this week, Morgan Wallen
and Windy City smoke out tickets on the program, Jason,
did you see the new bulls head coach?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
What do you think at his gentleman?
Speaker 2 (38:33):
I saw that there was a new coach and he
is a looks like a great man.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
I don't know his name. Someone thought it was going
to be Scottie Pippen. I'm like, where did you get that?
I hope I'm saying it right. Thiago Splitter? Is that
anyway we would look at him?
Speaker 2 (38:50):
I don't know if I thought this maybe was a
guy that you would find attractive, or if you had
any thoughts about him. He spent last season with the
Portland Trailblazers. Has the interim coach. He fills the vacancy
left by Billy Donovan, who stepped don at the end
of the Season's.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Brazilian Oh he is hot. See, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
I wanted you to take a look at him and
obviously look at his basketball credentials first and foremost, because
you know, why would you look at how he looks first?
Speaker 1 (39:16):
That has nothing to do with it.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
I'm forty one married, unfortunately to Fernanda. But Fernanda, yeah,
it's nice. Oh my gosh, she's gorgeous. She's an Instagram model.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Oh yeah, yeah, I should have been an NBA coach.
That's part of the problem. I don't make ugly Brazilians.
Yeah's been there, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
So have I I was the they do. I was
the ugly person in Brazil. But I'm not Brazilian, so
I guess that makes sense. I just I figured you
you had already sort of done your research on him
as the UH as the vice president president of sports Reboarding,
and I figured you had an opinion. Yeah, I know,
he Yeah, he could get it.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
Let's go. I got a new Bulls connect. Let's go. Oh, yes,
let's go. You do go to the locker room. Oh
that's nice, I do. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
He is a former NBA champion twenty fourteen with the
San Antonio Spurs and a seven year NBA player, and
and he has a hot wife, and he's moving to Chicago.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
So anyway, it's gonna be great. Onward and upward. Man. Yeah,
you're happy, You're very happy. Couldn't be more happy? Can
you see that? Happy? It's good.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Now, all we gotta do is put Comisky right on
top of Soldier Field.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
Literally just put it on top of it.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
Now, we we still wouldn't have a dome in that case,
but like we'd have a baseball stadium on top of that.
And then I think all of our problems are solved, then.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I'm ready for it. Give me something, although I'll lose,
like parking spot. Then if they move up. Oh yeah,
but I get you a helicopter to go right to
the top.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
Yeah, well I did Burly, so I gotta get the helicopter.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
The game take me out because I always leave early. Yeah,
I get there lately early.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
I've always wondered who that was in the chopper that
lands right there, And that's it's you. It's you, pulling
up and pulling on the man every time. It's the
Fred shown. So you only follow up pretty people?
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Yeah, like, I only like to see pretty stuff on
my timeline ugly people all my time.
Speaker 12 (40:59):
I like it triggers me. Oh God, like wow, so
huts you again. So Fred's show is on Tuesday, June sixteenth.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
The frend shows here Hi kleb hi Ja surround, Hello.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
Pay hikeki Good Morning Show visits here one thousand and
fifty one thousand and fifty bucks. In the show down
in about twenty minutes, Peter in five questions, you get
paid good money blogs, stay or go the entertainment reports
on the way to see what are you working on?
Speaker 7 (41:26):
K So even though the mayor seemingly confirmed this Taylor
soft Msg wedding, I still refuse.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
To believe it.
Speaker 7 (41:35):
But we will talk about the stage she's allegedly building
for inside the venue.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Yeah yeah, really they talk better than they site say.
These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show writing
in our diaries, except we say them aloud. We call
them blogs. Kiki's got one go yes, dear blog.
Speaker 4 (41:55):
So I need a little advice from my friends on
this dilemma that I'm facing at work. So yesterday, and
it's been happening for the last couple of weeks. Actually,
there is a coworker who continues to call me Kate,
and I'm like, I don't know if it's a learning disability,
a language barrier, or like, I don't.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Know what's going on, but I'm like, who is Kate.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
He's such a nice man, he's so handsome, smart, brilliant,
and I so he like an email, right, He'll email me,
and he starts everything off, good morning Kate.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Hello, Kate. Hello.
Speaker 4 (42:37):
He's like, you're literally typing in Kiki to email me,
but you're addressing me as Kate, and so I'm like, okay,
So then I would respond and you know, like I
never put my name at the end of an email,
like actually, it's just automatically in a little signature thing.
But now to his emails, I'm like, thank you so much,
key key, like right, and so he completely ignores the email.
Speaker 1 (42:59):
So I'm like, okay.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
Yesterday, we get on a meeting and shout out to
Cruz and Saverah, my friends.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
They were there to witness this.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
And we're all on a team's meeting, and so he's like, yeah,
I'm Kate, and I said, I said, so like I'm
like Kiky like the screen. I'm like I'm like, yeah,
so it's Kiky. So then he's like, yeah, anyway, Kate.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Real hard, keep calling me Kate.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
And then so I'm like, okay, I'm just gonna be quiet.
So then he does it again, and so I politely say,
like like he's like Kiki and I mean he's like
Kate and I'm like, no, no, Kiki. And that's at
one point I said, I think of my name is Kate,
Like maybe.
Speaker 1 (43:37):
My name is Kate. He knows something you don't, right,
and so he just he continues to I don't think no,
he's not how many times you correct someone.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
I mean, at what point do you hard stop and go, sir,
there's some confusion.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
My name is Keiki. You don't.
Speaker 7 (43:55):
You absolutely should free years in to someone calling me
Caitlyn in this office, I'm.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Sorry your name that comes off so rude. It's your name.
Speaker 7 (44:06):
Uh, okay, tell me how to say it, Tell me
how to.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Say I'm kid.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
You know you've been calling me Caitlin for a while.
I just I just wanted to be my name is Kaitlyn, Like,
that's my name. I think if you're allowed to correct
anyone on anything, it is what your parents named you.
I don't think you have to just accept what anyone,
what everyone decides to call you.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
That doesn't have to be your name. I agree.
Speaker 5 (44:30):
I'm scared, I know, because she's so sweet too, like
the girl that Kaitlin is referring to Ky like, by
the way, has.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
A very difficult name. But I made sure to figure
out how to say it. Okay, all right, Kate, So
are you gonna do? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (44:43):
I actually had just accepted that this is my I
am Kate, and you know, I'm like, this is so strange.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
Keiki is one of the.
Speaker 4 (44:51):
Easiest names in the American language to just really say,
but okay, if you.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Want me to be Kate, well I am Kate.
Speaker 5 (44:58):
Shut because you him like my name is Kiki, that's
my name, but he's still ignored it like that is wild.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
And I'm like, you know, when you're a teams meeting,
you have to do the can everybody hear me before
you start? So I'm like CRUs can y'all hear me?
Because I don't understand why you can't calling me Kate?
And I'm looking at the camera cruise it's a Mira over.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
There laughing and does it say right there like Kiki
in this on the screen it.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
Says it literally everywhere everywhere it says, I don't either, friend,
I have never encountered this. It was so funny because
I just I'm I bro, I'm Kate.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
Can we call this? No?
Speaker 4 (45:35):
I feel really bad. He's really sweet and he helps
me call him on him.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
Let's call it? Okay? Sure to do that? Is that?
Who it is? No? I can't be here, no, no, no,
you have to tell me in front of me.
Speaker 7 (45:52):
I will correct him because I can ride for other people,
just not myself, So I will I will correct him
on that.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Know. Am I gonna am I gonna see this guy? No? Okay,
you never have to work with him. This is a
meat project.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
He's probably been trying to get a hold of me
for a while, but he keeps having him ten some
guy named Ted and the company's get emails like, bro,
I don't know the guy.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
It's all right, the show is on.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
It's stay or go now now, people texting me going,
who is it?
Speaker 1 (46:23):
They want to know?
Speaker 4 (46:24):
He call you Kate an he's a legend, and you
know what, I'm Kate.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
Somebody texted maybe he's Filipino. Your name is the P
word in Tagalog?
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Did they say it right? Tagal? I don't know. Well,
I think that's the language if they speak, but he's
not sure. I'm so positive he called you the P word.
That'd be way funnier. Stick to Kate. You want to
(46:57):
stay safe, right? I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (46:59):
Like it's he has the email to invite you to
the meeting. It's on the screen. Other people are calling
you that you've corrected the person like what, I don't
know what?
Speaker 1 (47:09):
I don't know. Hey McKenzie, good morning, how you doing?
Speaker 15 (47:13):
Hey, good morning, I'm doing well.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
Say to my friend Kate. Hi group, Hey, not even
her name.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
All right, mackenzie says, there go, and thank you to
all the people who hit us up on all the
different various platforms.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Search for the Fred Show.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
If you want to be featured on the show, you
want us to talk about you, Right, it's kind of
behind your back, but right in front of you.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
Two.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
You've been dating a guy for about six months and
you became official three months after that.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
It's very exciting. So what's the problem, McKenzie?
Speaker 15 (47:42):
Well, I really do like him. I want to be
clear about that. But I'll be up front. I have
the worst track record when I shoot men, and honestly,
I just don't detect the red flags even if I
see them out in front of me. I just am
not good at it.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Okay, So what what are we missing? What? What do you
what's right in front of us that you're missing somehow? Okay?
Speaker 15 (48:05):
So recently I actually just had surgery for a deviated
steptam and my boyfriend was really wonderful. He offered to
take care of me, you know, because my family actually
doesn't live close and you know, I actually told him
I'd be fine, I can do it on my own,
but he actually really insisted and it was so sweet
of him.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
That's nice. That's what boyfriends is supposed to do, right,
take care of you.
Speaker 15 (48:28):
Yeah, green flag. But you know, after doing a great
job of taking care of me, he went back home
and just like really nonchalant, just asked me if I
could send him money since he took time off work
to take care of me.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Excuse me, what you're supposed to pay the man after.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
And he's your he's your boyfriend, Like that's that's That's
part of what boyfriends do when girlfriends have surgery, is they,
you know, take him up in the hospital or whatever
and make sure they have all the stuff that they need.
Speaker 15 (49:00):
I mean, yeah, I mean that's what I thought.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
How much money and how much money does he want?
Speaker 15 (49:05):
Well, he didn't get into the exact Now it's just
I just feel uncomfortable because it's weird. It's not an
unreasonable request, I guess, because I do make more than
he does and he doesn't get PTO. But I guess
I'm starting to feel kind of like, you know, this,
if he offered this should be something that doesn't require
(49:26):
me to pay him. But I don't know. I'm feeling
very confused about all this. Am I overthinking it. Is
this a red flag? You know? Am I being selfish?
Speaker 2 (49:34):
I feel like if it was going to be of
that much financial consequence to him to take a day
or two off to take care of his girlfriend, then
he should have told you, like, look, I can pick
you up, I can do this, I can do that,
but I can't miss two days at work because that's
too much money. I mean, I understand that people are
living paycheck to paycheck and every dollar counts. I understand that,
but like free, that might be something where he said, whoa, whoa,
(49:57):
listen to Drake, what's going on.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
Commuting?
Speaker 2 (50:01):
Yeah, but as far as like if it were going
to be that big of a deal where he can't
afford to take off work long enough to take care
of you, then I feel like he should have said that, like, hey,
I want to be involved here. I want to help,
but I can't help the whole time. But for him
just to pop up later and go, hey, so I
took two days off and I would have made, you know,
five hundred bucks, and so you gotta pay me that
(50:22):
that that that feels off to me.
Speaker 15 (50:26):
Oh And that's just why I'm not sure if I'm overreacting.
I talked to my sister about it, and she actually
like flipped out. She was like, I can't believe he
would ask you for money after he offered, And I'm
starting to really see that she might be right, But again,
like you know, he, as you just said, people are
living paycheck to paycheck. Every penny counts. Maybe he really
(50:47):
couldn't afford to take the time off. But if he couldn't,
he didn't tell me. So I feel like I'm just
swinging back and forth.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
Here, and it's it's weird.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
He could have communicated to you in some way like
I can't afford to take off work. And I know
that's embarrassing to say, but that's better than That's better
than now.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Are we are we playing? Are we playing it? Are
you are to take off working? Are you playing? The
symbols in a hotel lobby right now?
Speaker 13 (51:15):
Like?
Speaker 1 (51:15):
What is it? Are you a street performer?
Speaker 15 (51:24):
I mean them, I could pay my boy.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
I would gonna say, like, you know, it's is he
a street performer?
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Are you attending on mackenzie? I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
I think there is a way to communicate this, And
the problem is if he'd said that to you, then
you think he's kind of a brokie and that's not attractive.
And then if he'd said to you, I can't help
you because I have to work, then that makes him
look like an inattendant boyfriend. But but but sending you
a VENMO request afterwards for his nursing care, you know,
it is also sort of a strange thing to do.
I don't I think he should have prepared for this,
(52:01):
Like you should have figured it out right, Like this
is part of your obligation as a partner is to
be there at least part of the time. But Mackenzie,
gonna take some phone calls on this. I wish you
the best.
Speaker 15 (52:11):
Thanks, I appreciate I can get no thank you.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Have a good day.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
Eight five five five three five. You're you're right, all right?
Mar Iberian Orchestra over. Yeah, I mean she's practicing for
an upcoming tour eight five five. I want to know,
So if you're dating somebody in they're like, yeah, I'm
(52:35):
gonna take care of you for a couple of days,
and then afterwards you're like, you had to take work off.
I didn't get paid, so I need you to pay
me for that. I mean, how would you react to then,
and if you're on his side and you're really in
entire straits. And again, I'm not making fun of people
who by any means, who like have to go to
work to pay the bills.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
I think that's very real. But you know, how do
you navigate this?
Speaker 2 (52:52):
Then if you're on the other side, Hey, Rachel, Hi,
Hey Rachel, what do you think when you hear this?
Speaker 6 (53:00):
So I was in a very similar situation in December.
I got my second debated septem surgery, and I have
to say, she needs to go.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
Footslop.
Speaker 6 (53:11):
I don't make as much money as my boyfriend, but
he was there every step of the way. I even
told him, Hey, if the money becomes too much or
taking care of me becomes too much, you know, please
let me know. So we did communicate that. But this
man went to the store every day for me. I
needed fresh water and he got me two of them. So,
(53:33):
you know, life happens, You're going to get sick, You're
going to need surgery, so your partner should be there
for you. And heaven forbid, money is an issue. You
talk about it and you don't talk about it after
the fact.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah, I agree, And Rachel like if you needed specific
medicine or you needed you know, if the prescriptions for
the aftercare were extensive, or if you need a very
specific dietary things or what, and there's not a lot
of extra money, then maybe you help with that. Maybe
it's like here, I'll give you the money to go
pick the stuff up. But like as a boyfriend or
a husband or whatever, to charge your partner to do
(54:08):
those things, it.
Speaker 1 (54:09):
Just doesn't do. It ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (54:11):
It doesn't feel like he can take care of her
and he doesn't have to take care of her and
you know completely, but like occasionally, you know, for something
like a big deal like this, I think you should
be able to figure that out.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
But you're right.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
Communication. Thank you, Rachel, love you too. Have a great day.
Thanks for listening. Hey Katie, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (54:32):
Hi Katie.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
So you just heard this guy, this woman's boyfriend. She
had surgery. He said, hey, I want we take care
of you for a couple of days as you recover,
and then afterwards he sent her a bill.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
He wanted money.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
You want to be compensated for this, and it was
never discussed ahead of time. And his explanation is, well,
I don't have paid time off and I couldn't go
to work, and so I need you to pay for
the time that essentially I would have been working.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
What do you think.
Speaker 14 (54:55):
I think that's wild. I think to your point, like,
not just as a partner that needs to figure it out,
but just as an adult with a life with other obligations,
like you are in the best position to know whether
or not you can accommodate any sort of thing that
pops up in your life. Right if they were to
get married and have kids and the kids were sick,
(55:17):
would he be like, uh, honey, because I took off work,
can you vend mommy, you know, five hundred bucks because
I had to stay home with the kids. Like super
bizarre situation. But he needs to figure out his communication
and that might lead to a lot more problems for
her down the road. So yeah, one hundred percent, this
is this is wild and I would never be okay
with that.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
Well, and they've been dating long enough that like it
would be okay I think for him to be honest
about and she probably would be not at this point
be aware of his financial situation, like, hey, he's having
to work, you know, each day, and he needs eat
the money to pay the bills and whatever whatever. That
would be something that I think he would have communicated
with her such that that if he offered to do it,
(55:58):
then she could say, Hey, I know you need to work,
so thank you for offering, but I'll get someone else
to do it who isn't going to be as you know,
financially taxed by this as you are. But but if
you offer, then I'm assuming that that's a free offer
because I'm sleeping with you.
Speaker 1 (56:14):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 14 (56:16):
Like it's all about like communicate your intention and it's
gonna be fine to say, listen, I absolutely want to
but you know my financial situation. Is there anything else
I can do to help? I mean, like the way
you went around this is super weird.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
I think that feels way better Katie than sending a bill,
you know, But thank you.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
Have a great day.
Speaker 16 (56:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
Thanks.
Speaker 14 (56:38):
Oh and by the way, my name is Kiki.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
And I'm from now on you'll be Katie. You'll be
Kiky and she's going to be Katie.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
So it's fine, have a good day. Thanks you do.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
That is so wild to me that, like how many
different ways have you written your name? It's like, at
this point, I think I'm being punked, Like am I
on a TV show?
Speaker 4 (56:57):
That was me yesterday just watching Cruise in your laugh
because I know they heard this, and I'm just like, well.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
You know what, why didn't one of them go, hey, bro,
that's not her name. That's what I was doing the
whole time, Like, no, it's me. You put your life
over here.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
I want to stop the whole meeting down, and been
like her name is Jessica, Okay, Like, how dare you
disrespect her in this way?
Speaker 1 (57:20):
Hey, Trish, good.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
Morning, good morning. How are you Hi, Tris, I'm doing great.
I hope you are.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
Starego definitely go because this.
Speaker 13 (57:30):
Is going to become a pattern. And if he's going
to be asking for money one during a relationship, he's
going to continue to ask for money in that relationship
for who knows what. It does seem that way, and
that's yeah, and that's not a partnership. You know, you're
doing something for somebody for money, or you're doing something
(57:52):
because you are in a relationship, and that's just the
best thing to do.
Speaker 1 (57:57):
Yeah, I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
Thank you, Trish, glad you called. Have a good day
and thanks for listening. Hey, Alison, good morning, good morning,
boyfriends don't send bills, says Alison.
Speaker 1 (58:09):
Period.
Speaker 8 (58:10):
That's right, period, Yeah, boyfriends don't send bills.
Speaker 1 (58:14):
Like what everyone's been saying. If he had communicated ahead
of time and had been like, hey.
Speaker 8 (58:18):
You know, I can only do a couple of days,
or I can maybe I can spend the night and
I can help you out overnight or something like that,
but for him to be like.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Here's all the stuff that did for you, by the way,
pay up. No, that's not okay.
Speaker 2 (58:30):
Yeah, I think clearly communicating what he can and can't
do financially is well difficult and maybe a little embarrassing.
It's better to do and say yeah, I got you,
only to send an invoice.
Speaker 8 (58:43):
Clearly, clearly he doesn't got her because he needed money afterwards,
so clearly.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
He didn't have her.
Speaker 2 (58:49):
Yeah, thank you, Alison, I have a great day. Calon's
entertainment report is on The Bread Show.
Speaker 7 (58:54):
So the media is still really very confidently talking about
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey getting married at Madison Square Garden.
I think it's odd that we're reporting it as fact.
There's no like alleg or reportedly, because nothing leaks that
Taylor doesn't want to leak like it's not and she
(59:15):
would not leak this snooze ahead of time, Like I
just I really.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
Don't believe it.
Speaker 7 (59:20):
But TMZ claims that she has commissioned a massive stage
for the wedding at Madison Square Garden and it's secretly
being built at a Pennsylvan, Pennsylvania production facility. They have sources,
they claim that say the stage is being built at
a campus called rock Lilts in Lilitts, Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
Litts litics. Okay, I like.
Speaker 2 (59:48):
Sound like this is her like alternate plan like holes,
I got it. Guys, we're gonnas, So we're gonna build
a stage, okay, and that's what what's a crazy ways
we get builded.
Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
And that's what they did. But there's one thing isn't fake.
Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
It's fake because they're really getting married in Santrapey and everybody.
Speaker 7 (01:00:09):
Knows it, right, Like you know what a private island?
What's not she Madison Square Garden? I don't know, but
it's l I l I t Z. So I'm going
to Latit's Pennsylvania after the show. But it's there, right,
I mean, like who doesn't want to go there? But yeah,
this massive stage is under lock and key, with security
guards patrolling the area.
Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
She has a history with Rocklatits.
Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
That's where she her massive video columns were constructed for
her twenty eighteen Reputation Stadium tour. Claire Global, a subsidiary
of Rocklatits, also worked on the sound for her Era's tour.
I'm told that a band will obviously be present, but
some of their guests will be invited to hop on
(01:00:55):
stage and take the mic. I know Taylor has said
that it would be very difficult for Ed Cheering to
be there and not take the mic, So, I mean,
I don't know who else is going, but yeah, Kiki,
it's like a dream, like he's gonna get on there
and I guess perform maybe, But it's it's crazy because
also the mayor of New York, Zorin Mandami, seemingly confirmed
(01:01:18):
the wedding. He said, we're the biggest city in the country,
which I don't know what that has anything to do
with it. He said, we are used to big events
and we are incredibly excited for this one. We know
it coincides with the Knicks final run. We know it
coincides with July fourth, America two fifty Her wedding all
happening at the same time, and we are so excited
(01:01:39):
to welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
The world here.
Speaker 7 (01:01:42):
So I again don't know how he was confirm that
because she's not calling the mayor.
Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
So it's very interesting.
Speaker 7 (01:01:50):
Speaking of our boy, Ed and Keiki, I thought of
you when I heard the news. He pretty much shocked
fans during the opening night of his US tour over
the weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
City's taking a break. So night one of the tour,
I'm taking a break. We go, Yeah, here we go.
Speaker 7 (01:02:06):
And he already doesn't have any like communication on social
so like we really he's really gonna go off the grid.
Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
He's like an iPad kid, So I don't betay.
Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
He told fans they might not see him for a
while after the tour. He added, I'm going to take
some time off and do the dad thing. That's fine.
Could you maybe join social get a phone so we
get updated.
Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
I don't know. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:02:33):
The first winner of America's Next Top Model. Do you
remember her, Adrian Curry? She was she from Illinois, I'm sure,
but I thought that sounded familiar.
Speaker 1 (01:02:45):
She certainly had some sort of Midwest accent.
Speaker 7 (01:02:47):
But she reacted to the shocking news that Tyra Banks
is suing Netflix over that documentary that drew hundreds of
millions of viewers, but she participated in it. She said,
I read that Tyra is suing Netflix because she didn't
like being edited. And then she said in a in
a video, b but I can't say the word for real,
(01:03:07):
like for real, because obviously the show would edit things
to look a certain way. And it's very very interesting
to her. So she has called out Tyra a lot
of different times and really quick, I just wanted to
give this one to you, guys. A new study has

park bench and read. Because that is how Douapa met
her husband. Yeah, they were reading the same book.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
That's cute. It's really cute.

Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
So fill us in all the backstory.
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
How did you meet, any dates that you've been on,
kind of any information that we need to know.
Speaker 19 (01:10:51):
Totally, I'm definitely being ghosted. We met on Tinder and
we went out on Valentine's Day. It was a beautiful date.
I mean, as far as I could tell. The drinks
were flowing. Obviously I was gonna like I got her flowers.
(01:11:11):
We're talking, she seemed like sure us into me, and
then I don't know, like just throughout, like just in
the middle of our dinner, she told me, oh, sorry,
I have a have an emergency.
Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
And then she had to go, which I totally get.
Speaker 19 (01:11:29):
Things happen, you know, and I was totally expecting for
her to like call me back or like get a
second date. And then I don't know, radio silence, couldn't
get a hold of her, just wondering what's what happened
because everything was going so well.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Wow, So this was a great date until like a
hard stop and then she's like I got to get
out of here, and you've like tried to check in
on her and maybe schedule another date, and she's not
responding to you at all exactly. He was so bro Well,
all right, well let's call this one Colleen. We'll see
if we can get her on the phone in just
a second. We'll ask these questions. You'll be on the
phone too, and you're welcome to jump in at some point,
(01:12:06):
and the hope, as always is that we can straighten
this out and set you guys up on another date
that we pay for.
Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
All right, all right, I'm nervous, let's do it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Hey, Wes, Hello, let's call Colleen. You guys recently went
on a date and you thought the date was going
really well until at some point during the date, she's like, hey,
I gotta go abruptly, and then she takes off and
you're sitting there going, I don't know what happened here,
And you've reached out since then, trying to reschedule or
you know, go out again, and she's not responding, and
(01:12:35):
you want to know what's going on. Yeah, okay, I'd
love to know and get some closure. Right right, Well,
let's call Colleen right now? Good luck, Wes?
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
All right? Hello? Hi is this Colleen?
Speaker 14 (01:12:51):
This Colleen?
Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Hey Colleen, good morning. My name is Fred.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to get with the call. Can which have for just
a second on the air, You can hang off any
tevy one so said, okay, if we talked.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
For a second.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Uh yeah, okay, Well thank you for calling on behalf
of a dude named Wes. I guess you guys met
on Tinder recently and you went on a date. Do
you remember this guy?
Speaker 20 (01:13:14):
Oh yeah, yes I do so he Well, he called
us and told us that he was excited to meet you,
and that when he did meet you, he you know,
everything was going well on the date, he thought, and
then at some point you abruptly left and now he
can't get a hold of you.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
So what is all that about, because I think he
wanted to see you again.
Speaker 9 (01:13:33):
Well, did he tell you about what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
No, he just said that you guys met and then
he was into you, and that you said you had
to go and that you won't talk to him.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
Now. That's all we know. Okay, Well, let me.
Speaker 9 (01:13:44):
Let me catch you up from the beginning and tell
you what actually happened.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Please.
Speaker 9 (01:13:49):
So we matched on Tinder, and like you know, he
was cute. I thought it was promising. And then I'm
not sure if he told you this, like I guess
he hasn't told you much. Our first date actually just
like happened to be on Valentine's Day, which we both
thought was like funny, you know, because there was like
no real pressure. It was just like happened to be
(01:14:10):
the day we were both free thought it was funny.
So we met up for drinks and you know, I
thought like the drinks were going well whatever, and then
he was like, hey, guess what, I have a surprise
for you. We're going to another location. And I was like, okay, well,
this is like turning out well, you know whatever. And
(01:14:30):
then he took me to a spa to get a
couple's massage and he told me that we would get
the massage at a hotel and then get room service
and that like in a room that he would get
for us later at the hotel.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Okay, yeah, that's a presumptive there, you know what I mean.
Speaker 9 (01:14:56):
And like, keep in mind, this is our first time meeting,
like first time.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
Meeting this guy.
Speaker 9 (01:15:01):
I'm like, I was like, I have an emergency.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
I gotta go, Like, yeah, I kind of don't blame you.
Speaker 9 (01:15:07):
I'm not trying to do that on Valentine's Day of
the first time I'm meeting you.
Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Please, Yeah, because.
Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
I've had a couple's massage before and you're you know,
you're stripping down, You're getting all naked right there. You know,
there's really no way to avoid that. They put The
point is they put the tables like right next to
each other. Why are we in a random hotel room.
On top of that, I mean a lot of layers
of like, this is super intimate and we just met.
Speaker 9 (01:15:28):
Yeah, I was freaked out by it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
If I'm being so for real, I don't blame you.
I forgot to mention, by the way, that Wes is here. Wes.
Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
I mean you tried it, you know, and you also
left that part out. I mean, that's not going to
work most of the time.
Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
You do know that. Maybe you don't.
Speaker 19 (01:15:44):
No, I'm totally I understand where she's coming from. Hey,
by the way, but listen, guys, my train of thought was,
it's Valentine's Day.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
I know what.
Speaker 19 (01:16:00):
Yeah, yeah, I like to I like to treat a girl,
you know.
Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
And as soon as I realized, Okay, this date is
going great.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
I like her.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Why don't I like offer that put it on the table.
Speaker 19 (01:16:11):
I already, like, I did all this planning, I'm spending
all that money.
Speaker 3 (01:16:16):
I'm not a creep. I'm just I'm just a lover,
you know, like.
Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
You know, it could be a fine line sometimes between
creep and lover, you know what I mean, It could
be a very funne But I.
Speaker 19 (01:16:29):
Mentioned it in a month month creepy where I just
wanted to give a girl a special value. You know
how girls are on Valentine's Day, I don't know, I
have a history of knowing.
Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
They They love to go to a random hotel room
with a stranger.
Speaker 19 (01:16:44):
That they like everybody, like all these couples and they're
doing all the cute stuff and here you are, like single, and.
Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
I mean we want to each other.
Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
Wes you've never met, did a series of very intimate
you know, almost sort of I'm not going to say unsafe,
but like sort of risky behavior on a first date.
I mean, this woman does not know you and you've
you know, your forethought is let's go get naked and
have a massage and then go to a hotel room.
Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
Yeah, I mean, what were you all going to do
in a hotel like, you know, depends on I'm going
you know, depends.
Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Man, it's a spa.
Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
It's a beautiful time. And listen, hey, if there's.
Speaker 19 (01:17:31):
Any ladies listening out again, like please call West.
Speaker 1 (01:17:38):
You know what, he's just a lover. It's not his fault.
He's a lover. He's not a creep no, no, and
he's planning. That's more than that is true.
Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
I've never put so much thought into a first day
I will say, Wow, okay, so Colleen, look it was
a misstep. It was clearly you know he was was
giving more comfort. Yeah, he was giving a little further,
a little more advanced than you were at that point.
But if we're if we're going to look on the
(01:18:10):
bright side, he was thoughtful.
Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
I guess.
Speaker 6 (01:18:13):
Honestly, I'm just.
Speaker 14 (01:18:14):
Over here, like so shocked.
Speaker 1 (01:18:16):
I can't even believe what you're hearing over here.
Speaker 9 (01:18:19):
Like see, you know, there could be a girl that
he might be able.
Speaker 19 (01:18:23):
To like hire for a night like that.
Speaker 9 (01:18:25):
But you know, I don't know about maybe meeting anyone
like special who wants to do that the first time
you're meeting.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Yeah, that's more of like a relationship type activity. That's
definitely not a first did activity.
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
I don't see.
Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Well for the next time. Thank you for your guys.
Speaker 20 (01:18:44):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
You're still learning. You learn, guys, living and learning over here.
He's not a creepy, he's a lover.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
That's what it is, is an expensive massage.
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
He said no to I'm gonna get that embroidered on
a pillow. I'm not a creep, I'm a lover. Colleen. Look,
I know the answer, But do you want to go
out with him again? Thank you?
Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
Hey, Wes, Look, man, tone it down a little bit,
but we wish you the best. You don't you know,
you don't sound like a terrible guy, but I don't know,
maybe maybe a little tone death, But good luck out there,
you guys. Here's something I know you all have been
(01:19:34):
thinking about. You've been wondering about it. He's been keeping
you up at night, and I'm here to put an
end to all of that, and I want you all
to rest. What would you guess is the record for
the longest Monopoly game played in a bathtub?
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
What would you guess? It might be?
Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
Yeah, which and Monopoly is a game played with others.
That means there were multiple people in the bathtub, right what.
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
It's never less than like fifteen hours.
Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
Always far more than that. What would you guess is
the record for the longest Monopoly game played in a.
Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Bathtub longer than fifteen.
Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Ninety nine hours and if there was water in the bathtub,
then they're all sitting.
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
In there each other's filth for ninety nine hours.
Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
That's four days, four days in a bathtub playing Monopoly.
But again, I asked myself this question a couple times
a week in the fun fact, like who was sitting
around and what were you consuming? You know where You're like, guys, guys, guys,
I got it, got it, I got it, I got it.
You guys, We're gonna sit in a bathtub for four
days and we're gonna play Monopoly and we're gonna get
(01:20:43):
in the Guinness.
Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
World Record Book. That is insane.
Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
But if anyone ever asks you, now you know the
record for the longest Monopoly game played in the bathtub
on not one hundred why not?
Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
Why don't you get all the way to one more
Fresh Show?
Speaker 18 (01:20:56):
Next on the Fresh Show.
Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
Riding in our diaries, except we say them aloud, we
call them blogs, Paulina.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
Yes, go, thank you so much, dear blog.
Speaker 5 (01:21:05):
I need everybody's opinion on this because as a married woman,
I wonder if this is a socially or just acceptable anyway, right?
Speaker 1 (01:21:14):
Is this acceptable or am I gross? So that's the
question of the day.
Speaker 5 (01:21:17):
I know you've talked about sharing things with your spouse,
like a toothbrush.
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
I think majority of us have said never whatever. I
think Calen you said you would. I have had some
of my preference.
Speaker 5 (01:21:27):
Yeah, no, no, not my first choice at all. But
I wouldn't do it like I'd use like my finger
and said I've done that, or just anything.
Speaker 1 (01:21:34):
I'm like, I'm not sharing a toothbrush with my husband,
who I have. Try a line. That's a line not
doing it.
Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
It goes out, So between your teeth is another level
of Yeah, that's another level of comfort that I hope
to never reach.
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
I don't argue toenails in bed. Is you know my line?
But hey, we all had a thing. Yeah, we all
got a thing. We all got a thing.
Speaker 5 (01:21:53):
So my thing right now is I'm too lazy to
go to my basement where I do laundry to grab
a clean towel. So I like to take all the
towels and kind of just do them all at once
and like wash them and dry.
Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
And all that.
Speaker 5 (01:22:04):
And I don't want to go downstairs at four in
the morning when I wake up for work, to go
get a new towel. So I've been taking hobby's towel,
my husband's towel when I got out of the shower.
Now I thought about this, and I'm like, this is
really really gross because he's probably wiping like his booty
or something.
Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
Right though, because if someone's using the towel, then that
means they were already cleaned. But I'm not saying that's
a great idea, but I and he probably doesn't appreciate
that his towel is wet every time he goes to
use it because you use it.
Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
How did you know?
Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Because towels tend to get wet after you use that,
and then you know he goes up there, it takes
a few hours for them to dry, and so then yes, right,
so that would be the part that would annoy me,
is why is my towel always wet? But as far
as like using of all the different nasty things you
can do in a relationship, that one doesn't bother me
as much because again, you've already you're as clean as
you're gonna be the whole day when you use that towel.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
Okay, that's fair, But I don't know how you guys
use a towel, But I will get in there because
I want to drive it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
In the air and I stand there. That's how I
use a towel.
Speaker 7 (01:23:09):
I get in the split wiping your butt like with
the towel, I am, and so is he.
Speaker 1 (01:23:13):
So she might be wiping her face what I did, Yes, sire,
I don't go inside the crab. When I got out
of the shower, my first way, my first thing is
wipe her face. Everything's why, guys, And I'm wiping my
face first.
Speaker 5 (01:23:28):
So I did that, and I was like, this man
uses like six hours ago and he probably wiped his booty.
Speaker 1 (01:23:34):
Now I might in my face and my wipe my booty.
And it was like, this is not good. We shouldn't
share this.
Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
I don't think it's I don't think it even holds
a candle to sharing a toothbrush. He's using the same
towel after after bathing.
Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
I know you say after because you're clean, but point
is a towel is still going up in there. Like
I get in there because I want to just drive
really quick, change get in my car and come to
the radio station.
Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
I get up in there, so like what does it matter?
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
That's not the worst thing. I three the total thing
that you do and the and the tooth brush thing.
It's way nastier that. That's the that's number three on
the nasty list as far as the things you brought
up are concerns.
Speaker 1 (01:24:18):
So you want to be mad if your girlfriend or.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Wife, I would just be mad because it's always wet,
and I would be like, get your get another towel.
Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
Maybe that's why he's I'm away thinking.
Speaker 2 (01:24:27):
Because because it is annoying, Like if you take more
than one shower in a day and if you use
the same towel, it's like it's already kind of I
don't know, it's like kind of wet already. It's it works,
but it's like you like the warmth of the dry
towel and he doesn't get to enjoy that because you've
already wiped your bits with it.
Speaker 1 (01:24:43):
Yeah. Three tolls for the business, one towe for the house. Yeah,
I mean I wouldn't love it. But that's that's okay.
I can I can do. I feel better than
