thirty something awards they gave out and lastly, really Quick
for my fellow warped tour millennial kids. You guys have
been asking me about this since I brought it up
on social. Last week, I interviewed Martin from Boys Like Girls, which.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Is a blast in the past. We talked about so
many things.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Fred you got to mention because he too would lie
to girls and say he had a really obscure job
at the bar.

If you want to hear what his job was.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Fred, that was a fun game.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I used to play art dealer right for hotels.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah, I was an art dealer, and I usually I
had just landed the entire Midwest for the dais in account, Yeah,
which was exciting. They were going for a like a
Southern escape yea. So it was a lot of like,
you know, southern art, you know, like mountains and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
It was exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I would love him. His was very niche and funny.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Also talks a vacuum salesman.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Oh, I wish I knew that To tell him.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
My sister and I did that one one night.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
There was a game we'd play with friends where like
somebody would throw something out and then the other ones
had to go with it, and nobody knew what you know,
what you were going to say?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
So I said I was a vacuum salesman.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
And then my sister was like, yeah, and you know,
he sells like the traditional vacuum and I think she
stole this from somewhere, so I want to give credit
where creditors due. But I said I was a vacuum salesman,
and she was like that ball technology put us out
of business though, you know, like the dice and ball
technology I sold like uric, Yeah, and we didn't have
the ball technology.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
No, the ball technology.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah. His was similar to that.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I talked about how I was the CD burner in
my friend group and he gave me his real VENMO
to pay him back for the music I stole. And
then he's also in a country group chat with Dan
and Shay Hardy Mitchell Tenpenny, and that's how he met
his wife. They dared him to DM her on Instagram.
And it was a joke and then it became real.
It's called Kailn Interviews Martin from Boys Like Girls. It's
on the Fred Show on demand on the free.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
iHeart rate to good title for it. I like it.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Well, you know, you have to scroll a while because
I forgot to tease it because in true fashion, like
something I did, I would never talk about, so you
have to scroll.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
And then so I wanted to let them know. But yeah,
Bella ate with that title, and she did, did.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
You guys like brainstorm that? Did you get white boarded?
Did we research that?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
She thought I interviewed boys to men? So I'm just
glad to say boys like Girls.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
That's exciting that we got the artist.

Speaker 3 (03:21):

a ton of cities that we have friends in, Raleigh, Charlotte,
Salt Lake and and more so I love.

Speaker 1 (03:30):

Speaker 4 (03:31):

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Okay, it's on a Friday, so don't worry you.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
You don't have to go with you yeah, maybe we
should go to the one in Salt Lake City and
shake hands because we could meet everybody who listens, oh,
in one sitting.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
We should do the tour with them because honestly, it's
a lot of places.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I know all their names. Actually it's that few.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
But yeah, tell you if you're listening to us in
Salt Lake City, we tell friend blease please or forty yeah,
let's come back next The Fun Fact. Even I'm on
cold medicine today. I mean I'm always sort of like
right on the edge, but then the cold medicine, I think,
just removes any kind of filter that might prevent me
from saying something I'm not supposed to say.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Are you on like Lean? What kind of cold metage
does that?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah? Lean?

It's Fread's on Lean. That's the title of the podcast.
On the iHeart app, search for the Friends Show on demand.
