Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Pread Show. Jane is taking over Las

to the January twenty fifth show to night Hotel State Park,
MGM January twenty fourth through the twenty sixth and round
trip airfare. Text forever to three seven three three seven

be said. Standard message data rates may apply. All thanks

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Nixt player Josh Hart thought the game against Orlando was
already over on Sunday night. I don't know if you
guys saw this, but he literally thought the game was
done for and he had already moved onto the bench
to hold one of his twin sons like he had
him on his lap. So naturally he was super surprised
when the coach called for him to get back in
the game. And it's very funny. No one was more

(00:51):
surprised than one of his teammates, who he had to
throw his child basically onto the lab of his teammate.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I was like, what's going on here? Now?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I know, yes to run get in the game, and
then so they got him going back into the game,
and then they got his teammate on the big screen
and he's just cracking up hysterically with his baby on
his lap, looking for the babysitter to try to pass
him off to. But it was funny and it's kind
of going viral if you see that. That is what's
going on with Path, A movie that has been deemed
the worst film of the year, is shattering box office records.

(01:24):
Five Nights at Friday's two has already raked in over
one hundred and ten million since opening Friday, and it's
showing no signs of slowing down. The Horrors horror sequel
smashed multiple box office records, including the biggest December horror
opening and the biggest opening ever for a post Thanksgiving
theatrical release. The commercial success of the video game adaptation

(01:47):
comes after a wave of really negative reviews from both
fans and critics. Rotten Tomatoes the movie has between twelve
and fifteen percent, depending on the day that you look.
One of the reviews was a movie that is extremely convoluted,
poorly crafted, awkwardly performed, and worst of all, not even
entertainingly bad.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
But boringly, So why talk about our show like this?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Right?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Here's another one. Someone wrote about US, an inexcusable horror
sequel that lowers the bar to zero in terms of
fun and fright. The only thing that scares me is
this turns inevitable box office success. So not a good movie.
But despite that, fans are going to the theaters even
though you can stream it from home. Wow. So that's

(02:31):
very weird and people are really into it. So there
you go really quick. Chapel Roan is the newest global
Ambassador for Mac Cosmetics. She's certainly known for her makeup looks.
She will be the brand's world wide ambassador, and she's
calling it a full circle moment. She said, this brand
has always made space for people like me since day one.
They've embraced art, queerness, drag and self expression. I've built

(02:53):
a relationship with the Mac team over the years and
they've been amazing and thoughtful collectorate laborators on this new journey.
But I do think I know who has chosen as
the following year's global ambassador, and Fred, Yeah, can I
break the news? I mean, if you must, okay, because
people have been seeing you at the Mac counter.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, No, it's true. Yeah, I mean I'm a Mac guy.
I'm a Mac. I'm part of the Mac family.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, you were a foundation.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Is there like a are you like brand? I'm sure
you're brand loyal, But is there like a are you
a Mac person? Or like another kind of person.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
It's more the individual product that I'm loyal to, So
it's not all one cosmetic brand. It's like the you know,
where I get my shadow, where I get my foundation,
are all different but loyal.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yes, are you brand loyal? In other ways when it
comes to like this might blow your mind, but without Amazon,
and like just reordering the same stuff that I bought before,
Like with toothpaste, I couldn't really remember time and time
again which toothpaste, like which kind of breath mint strip?
What you know, there's eight thousands. I kind of just
grabbed the one I thought I got last time. Now

(04:00):
of course I'm getting the same one because I can
just go look at what I ordered. But like prior
to that toilet paper, like I think, I know, I
think I'm Sharman, but I don't really know. Like everyone
looked the softest. I just I'm not. I don't go
to the store I don't don't have to be the
same thing over and over again. But I found that
there are people that think that's wild. They're like, no, no, no, no,
it has to be the exact same thing every time.
I try and get close yes about it. But I

(04:23):
didn't know if there was like tea Mac and then
team like I haven't anti beauty. Yeah, yeah, it really
depends on a product. Like some people just specialize in
different things. But I would like to know do you
wear a liquid or powder foundation? What's a powder foundation?
And can we be clear about this in context? This
is when I do a little television broadcast. I don't
do this every day. I should.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
All I know is I saw you at the Mac
counter and you were buying multiple products.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I got a little spray. I don't know what it does.
I just put that on first, and then I put
the little foundational little brush, and then I got the
wipe things that take it off at the end. Okay,
that's what I got. I carry them in a little
bag and super super No. No, I have like a
little bag, like a little like my little leg make
my little TV bag. Yeah, it has my little eye

(05:08):
of beat, a little earpiece and everything oh yeah, no,
it looks way straight, like totally doesn't. People are like
that guy is a man, you know, as I put
my Mac makeup on.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Listen, real men wear makeup if you want to. You
