Speaker 1 (00:01):
I wonder if Fred sounds like one of those wacky,
stereotypical radio hosts to his haters because I don't know
how people hate this show. I think that was very nice.
That's really nice. There's lots of ways to hate us.
I think that was nice.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Great.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
We hear about them every day. Yeah, it's like, let
me count the ways. The Fred Show is on. Here
it is. Snoop Dogg in the studio. And I'm like,
I'm going to play you an instrumental of one of
your songs. To which he goes, well, let me hear
some of it. And then he goes, what year was this?
I don't know. You made it. Put down the joint.
Do you make it? Yeah, right here. One, two, three,

(00:37):
and two, but four. Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre
is at the door. Ready to make an entrance, so
back on up. Because you know we about to rip
it up. So give me the microphone first so I
can bust like a bubble. Nothing in Long Beach together.
That was us, like, genuinely freaking out. Everyone's screaming. Literally,
I was so close the whole time. I was bawling.
I don't know. Maybe this is... This sounds like the song,

(01:00):
so I don't know. Maybe this isn't great audio for
other people to hear, but I guess our memory of
watching him do it was just so surreal. Let me
try to get my name in the song.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah!

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Back to the lecture at hand. My name's Fred, by
the way. I have to find a contraceptive. You never know.
She could be earning a man, learning a man. And
at the same time, burning a man. If you were wondering,
he did have the weed guy with him. He had
his weed roller guy. He was one security guard, Snoop,

(01:41):
and the weed guy. Oh, it was loud smelling. With
a fanny pack. And then he tried to light up.
And then, remember, they were like, well, no, the sprinklers
are going to go off. Oh, okay. So then he didn't.
It was very nice of him not to. It's the
Fred show. Do you have what it takes to battle
showbiz Shelly in the showbiz showdown? Good morning. I remember

(02:03):
that day. That was fun. That was a good day.
That was a good day. Jordan, good morning. How you doing? Good.
How are you? Jordan, welcome to the program. Give me
a fun fact about you. Some facts about me is
I am going to Florida next month. Okay. That's very exciting.
You know, you could win a trip to Mexico if

(02:24):
you listen to us. Just heads up. Listen to us
while you're there. Yeah, and listen to us while you're there.
What part are you going to? Clearwater. All right. Well, yeah,
listen to us anyway on the iHeartRadio app. It's all good.
Five questions, $ 1, 050, 1,209 wins, only 82 losses, all-time 15
straight wins for Shell. Are you ready? Yes. All right,

(02:45):
let's play. Okay, good luck. Shelly, adios. Off she goes
to the sound booth. Poof, Jordan, question number one. Which
singer announced her 10th studio album is called Bass Persuades
and will be out on September 18th? Miley Cyrus. Which
Full House actress returned to Instagram after a seven-year break
following her involvement in the college admissions scandal? Three, two, one.

(03:13):
Billy Eilish. Zendaya. A cat? No. So is that one? Three.

(03:40):
You got a three. Not bad. Not bad. Okay. How
did she do? She got a three. Okay. All right.
Which singer announced her 10th studio album is called Bass
Persuades and will be out on September 18th? Miley Cyrus. Yes.
Or just Miley. Sorry. Sorry. Which Full House actress returned

(04:01):
to Instagram after a seven-year break following her involvement in
the college admissions scandal? Lori Loughlin. Yeah, which singer officiated
her brother Phineas O'Connell's wedding over the weekend? Billie Eilish. Yeah,
which Euphoria and Spider-Man brand new day actress turned 30
this week? Zendaya. And Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's new
pet Wendy made her modeling debut in a new campaign

(04:23):
for Tommy Hilfiger. What kind of animal is Wendy? A dog.
A dog is right. That is a win. That's a
five and that's a win. Hey, Jordan, a three is
a good score, but you have to say it. My
name is Jordan. I got showed up on a showdown
and you can't hang with a gorilla. Go. Okay. My
name is Jordan. I got showed up on the showdown
and I can't hang with the gorilla. That was good.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Jordan, you can't hang with the gorillas.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I was worried. I got it in. It wasn't great.
It wasn't my best work, but I got it in. Jordan,
hang on a second. Have a great day. Thanks for listening.
Thank you. Stay right there. Shelly, we're up to $ 1, 100 tomorrow.
Win number 1,210 in 16 straight. Good job. All right.
Thank you very much. Have a good day. You too.

(05:22):
That show is on. Fred's Fun Facts. Fred's Fun Facts.
Learn so much. Did you know, courtesy of Kaylin, earning
a Ph.D. in Finland comes with a top hat and
a sword?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
As it should. As it should.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I think so, too. In Finland, new Ph.D. graduates receive
a ceremonial top hat and a sword during a traditional
graduation event called a conferment ceremony. The centuries-old custom highlights
academic freedom and the duty to pursue the truth. Yes.
Love it. At the University of Helsinki, I guess, specifically.
But yes, and in Finland, a PhD gets you a

(06:05):
top hat and a sword. More Fred Show next.
