Speaker 1 (00:25):
Well you don't kicking.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
You brought up something interesting that you would like to
take a stand on this morning. Yes, so maybe you
know I took my stand on driving in the left lane.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
What'd I look for?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
No, just just wondering what I'm standing on today. You
know i'd be I'd just be saying I don't know
what I mean.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I mean, you wrote it about ten minutes ago. Okay,
drive through Ettiquin. Oh, yes, I got a lot to say.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We got the thing herehere.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Everybody shares their ideas and it doesn't like inevitably when
I bring up the idea and I say, hey, so
tell me about your idea on the airwhere it looks
at me like I tell you so much, I will
you do? There are lots of ideas on here, But
so I stood on business and I said to the
left lane, you can't be just hanging out left lane
going slowly. You can't do them. You have something you'd
like to say about driving through? So I just think

(01:10):
let's just take the opportunity now on the fly. Eight
five five five nine one one oh three five. If
there's anything that you'd like to say, if there's any
sort of position you have about the world right now, yes,
non political, please, non religious, but like if the yeah,
my platform right now is the left lane.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Today.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I'm very focused because last night I'm just like, repeatedly
I'm trying to get home and I'm like, why are
you going so slow in the left lane? Did no
one teach you anything about living in a society?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Mom? And so is there.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Something that you just want to get off your chest
that he's bothering you, that people aren't doing correctly? You'd
like to make a statement, then, you know, let's use
our platform with thirteen people listen to us, Let's get
out there. Eight five five five nine one one oh
three five. We got time, Kiki, Yes, what's yours?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Drive through etiquette. Let's all get this in order to
get this together. This morning, I'm running late, Okay, I'm
in the Dunkin drive through.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
The lady in.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Front of me, she is too much dialogue going on,
you know, like this is Duncan you know what you
want in the morning?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You know what you need? Pull up? You should have
already ordered on the app Hella, you got that, thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Thank you, And if you don't like me, you should
at least have your little barco ready to get your points.
Why are we sitting here, lady? To the point, it
was like seven minutes. So then the person behind me
started hunking their horn and I'm like, right on, sister.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
My dream.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
But then I was scared because I'm like, she's just
gonna think it's me, Like maybe she's gonna think that
I'm the one hunting the horn. But still, let's all
stand together, because why are you in the in the
drive through line at four in the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Anybody that is up at four in the morning getting
ready for work, they're.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
On business like they're handling some s.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
So it could be a doctor behind you on his
way to save a child's life, and the perform life altering,
life saving heart surgery. But he's a little caffeine on
the way in, and here you are trying to decide
between the wake up rap, come home, and some munchkins. Okay,
but you knew what you wanted when you pull into drive,
so you knew this wasn't like an exploratory process.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And if it is, then go inside.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Go inside. Like you have this whole line wrapped around
the building. These four people are in there trying to
make their coffee for their regulars that they know are coming.
So my stuff is just sitting there getting cold. My
little bacon wrap is getting cold because you want to
have all this conversation at four in the morning, Like
I think, if you are going to get coffee in
the morning, we must have our orders together and our

(03:28):
ducks in a row.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Use an app I got another food one for you. Yes,
And this has happened many times recently. But I'm typically
when I go someplace to get somebody to eat, like
and you're waiting in a line or something, you know,
like it's like a takeout kind of place, or maybe
a place where you can dine in, but you order yourself.
I'm usually by myself, and if I go for lunch,
sometimes there'll be someone from the office who was delegated

(03:50):
to go get food for eight people. If you're the
person who's in line to get food for eight, if
you have eight orders and you see someone behind you
by themselves, you let at least one of those people
go ahead of you, if not three or four. If
you got eight orders, you should let eight people go
in front of you, because you're gonna take up the
next forty five minutes. But if someone behind you could

(04:10):
be in and out and already have eaten, and they're
already back to work at the plant, but you're still
standing there, going this person wanted guacamoli.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Oh no, they didn't know. They didn't.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Like, why didn't you pre order this anyway? Right?

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Like in the average exactly, yes, But like if you're
only doing one thing and everyone else is doing a lot.
If you're only doing if you're doing a lot of
things and someone behind you do and want to let.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Them do the one thing, thank you anything else to me?
Thank you to me?

Speaker 6 (04:36):
Yes, yeah, I got one. So okay, we have a
dog run at our building because I live in an
apartment and you know, sometimes it's cult. The dog has
got to go, and there there's dog run etiquette. Okay,
First of all, there are people that just let their
dogs take a dump and then I just watch them,
they see me watching them, and they just walk right out.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
They don't pick up the poop at all.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Second of all, so the dude that goes in there,
it's like an enclosed area. So like it's one by
one to the dude that goes in there. Your dog
takes a dump, you're on your phone for twenty minutes
standing there, just scrolling when I'm waiting with my dog
to let her go in and go, and she knows
she's about to go. So it's prairie dog in you know,
in there you can't have that. It's not Why would

(05:17):
you want to hang around in there? It smells like crap?
And then I watch him leave his poop, his dog's
poop on the ground.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
That's wrong.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I got it. We got to pick up that.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
We got to we we live in a society, right, Hey, Christina, Hello,
how are you? Hey?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Great? Go right ahead? What is it? Did you get
it off your chest?

Speaker 7 (05:36):
One of the biggest pet peeves of Chicago driving is
no one uses their turning signal.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yes, oh yes, No, you don't.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Know where so much going.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Where it's really annoying is if they're making like a
right turn and you're making a right turn and I
get a light in front of them, so they're coming
the same direction that you're about to go, and then
you're sitting there waiting and then they wind up making
the turn. So you could have gone, but you because
you didn't know what they were going to do, you
didn't want to cut them off. But then they're like, oh,
I think i'll make a right turn here. Well, there's
a thing on your car that would tell the whole

(06:08):
world that's what you're going to do, and you're choosing
to use it.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Yeah, bran new car you're driving.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, Christina, this is a good one. Thank you, have
a good day. You too, Very grateful that you shared
that with us. Hey, Cindy, Yes, Cindy.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Go ahead. What is it? Whatever it is, get it
off your chest.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Oh for me, it is the toss or the flick
of the cigarette. But going down the road out of
the car window, like I really it drives me nuts
that cars stopped putting ashtrays in vehicles, so I slightly
blame it on the car manufacturers. But I just want
to scoop them all up and find out where that
person lizard. Just go dump a pile of them on

(06:47):
their front porch. That's so rude.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Okay, Cindy doesn't like it. Thank you, Cindy. Hey, do
you feel better?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Oh? She hung up. I'm assuming yes. Hey Andre, everybody, Hey,
good morning. You got a problem with the left lane
as well? Yes, sir, I call them left lane commandos.
They'd love that left lane. I'm sure all of you
have heard, or maybe you haven't.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
The sitting goes drive right past left right, Yeah, which
means the left lane is for passing.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Yeah, you better be going.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
If you're hanging out in the left lane, you better
be going the fastest of anybody.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah. But the issue is you shouldn't be in the
left lane at all. Yeah. Well that's unless you are
actively passing another car.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
You know, a lot of people feel a lot of
people feel that way. Now, Kaitlyn does it, but a
lot of people, and in some states apparently that's the law.
But but yeah, that would be a nice thing. If
there are three lanes, then the left lane is only
for passing, and then the middle of their for especially
then leave the leave that one from passing.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I agree on it. Thank you. Have a good day. Hey,
you guys, take care of Caitlyn. You're wrong, Okay, Caitlin.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
That she's wrong, because Caitlyn shouldn't be coming in here
talking like that.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Hey, Ryan, Hey Ryan, good morning man. Welcome.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
So I guess we're just getting grievances off of our
chest this morning. Off our chest, squirrel, go ahead please.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
So, my my biggest grievance is I'm a creature of habit.
I know what I need at a grocery store. I
have it all planned out. When I go there and
people are just standing in the aisle looking at all
different products.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
You're an adult.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
You know what you want. You know what you need
to buy. Get your thing and move out of the way.
Stop hogging up the space.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Yeah, Ryan, I don't go to the grocery store very
often because I'm lazy, and I order it because I'm lazy.
But I can't remember the last time I went to
the grocery store. I was like, you know, I'm just
gonna browse today.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Like I'm just gonna do this.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I feel for me is a utility oriented experience. I'm
in there to get what I need to get, and
I get it and I go. And sure you might
look through the produce for the best bananas or whatever,
but like, I'm not going, you know what, I the
world's my oyster man. Maybe I'm gonna maybe I'm gonna
buy some scallops today.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
I don't know, missing out the traders. There's so much
to look at. It's all different, all seasons, every time.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
What kind of chips do I work? They want a
different But you're enjoying that.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
At least step back from the shelf because I hate
when I got to do this little dance with you
to get in that season.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
People are rushing your life out of the way.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I do anything to be out of the way. Like
that is true. I am rushing your life.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
That's affect Thank you for a moment, having a date,
Thanks for listening, Thanks for calling. Hey, Janine, Yes, Jeanine,
take it away, get it off your chest.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
It drives me crazy when people let their dog hang
out the window.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
It's so unsafe. I've seen two dogs already fall out
of the window, and I've heard of.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Two others, two others that had to have surgery because
they fall out of the window.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah, I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Why are you trusting your I mean maybe you know
your dog well, but like, why are you trusting your
dog on the jump out the window?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Like, how do you know it's on a turn?

Speaker 7 (10:00):
If they go turn, there's just such a way that
they they go top heavy and especially if their elbows
are out of the vehicle.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Oh yeah, definitely at risk to fall off.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
People let them just kind of run back and forth,
back and forth, and then I.

Speaker 7 (10:15):
See it and I'm like, oh, but gives me an
anxiety attack.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
I just have to get away, get away. I was like,
I cannot be behind you.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Thank you, have a good day, you too.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
I'm going through these texts here quickly before we got
to go blocking the escalator, stand on the right, climb
on the left.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
When delivery drivers pay no attention to your delivery instructions,
oh yes, and I there are people that would argue,
and sometimes I would too that like if I'm so
lazy that I can't go get it myself, that I
need to accept that sometimes it won't be right. However,
like the other day I ordered two things and one
thing shows up, so when you're and God bless you
delivery drivers because it's not for the faint of heart.

(10:52):
But when you went to pick it up, like, did
you see may I guess it even looked if they
didn't even look. But it's like the bag had one
thing in it and I ordered two things. It should
be more things in the bag, like it should be
heavier than way the bag should be heavier.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Ooh, another thing? Can I say something?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (11:09):
I really, it just came to my mind. Okay, why
is the tip? And I always tip more than twenty percent?
I want to get that out right away. But why
is the tip more depending on the price of the
food you're ordering? If I'm ordering the exact same amount
of food, same weight, same process to get it, why
is my driver's.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Tip based on the total? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
But why if I'm ordering from like a steakhouse and
it's more expensive than I'm ordering from McDonald's.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
The process of picking it up is the same.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
I will tip you a good tip, but why is
it based on the food?

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Well, because no, I think they're trying to I think
that they're using the same model as like if you
if you ate at the restaurant, which is not fair
because if I go to a restaurant in fairness, and
I would hope that most delivery drivers would appreciate this,
but you gotta tip well if you expect the full service,
in my opinion, But if I order, let's say I
splurge on something, You're right, I'm probably not gonna tip
you twenty dollars if I order one hundred dollars or

(12:02):
the food for three people or whatever it is the
way that, because you're right like it, unless I'm making
you carry eight bag, yes, then it's definitely I agree
with that if it's one bag in the same process.
But I think what the app automatically does is they
just take whatever ten percent or fifteen or whatever it is.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
But I do think that you should give me quantity.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
You pay more if you sit down than you do
if and I'm also paying a fee to have it delivered,
so then I get that the delivery driver doesn't get
all of that. But like, as a consumer, I've now
paid more for the food, more for the service of
the driver, and the tip, which you should tip. But
I guess you're right, Like, should I really have to
tip twenty percent or fifteen percent? Delivery order's if it's

(12:44):
the same amount, if it's the same quantity, that never
thought of that with that, and you're doing God's work
out there bringing me all my meals, and I really
appreciate it. The other thing is you tip on most
of the apps you tip before, and what I've noticed
is that sometimes they don't complete the service fully or
they or I've already tipped you and I didn't get
all my food.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
He didn't double check.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
It's like, look, you consistent, I would think consistently as
as a community of drivers, the ones who are really
taking this seriously and double checking their work and completing
the service and bringing it to the door knocking whatever.
If that's what you're supposed to do, you're doing. The
people who don't are doing a disservice because it's like, now,
I don't want to tip ahead of time, but if
you don't tip ahead of time, then you won't get
the full service anyway, because then people think they're not

(13:26):
getting tipped, right Jason, because you used.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
To do it, Yeah, you'll see it and be like, oh, yeah,
I'm gonna take my time.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
If you put in.

Speaker 8 (13:35):
There, like you know, cash or whatever, you know when
you get here. People also be lying so because I
am going to tip.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
But I've been burned a number of times where I
give a good tip and then you don't, you don't
do the whole thing or it's not right, and then
I'm like, wait a minute, I already tipped you. I'm
not gonna take it back, which you can do. You
can reverse the tip, but I'm not going to do that.
I think you can go and change in change it. Oh,
I didn't know that, which I.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Think some people do. That's messed up.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
I've heard people will put a good tip and then
change the tip to like a grabby tip for no reason.
I don't like that either. Yea, these are excellent points.
I'm glad that you all brought them up. Thank you.
We may have to do this more consistently because I
want you. I'm glad we're able to use our platform
for good. Stay or Go and blogs and show by
