Sin embargo, hay mutaciones en zonas del ADN que ejercen efectos muy importantes sin afectar a las proteínas. Una de estas mutaciones es especialmente sorprendente, pues afecta al crecimiento muscular de forma inusual y revela mecanismos inesperados de regulación genética. Esta mutación, llamada Calipigia, es la que creo una de las más extrañas y complicadas del mundo, y será el tema principal de este podcast.
