Speaker 1 (00:00):
This portion of the Joe Show podcast is powered by
Farrah and Farrah, Tampa accident attorneys. This is iHeartRadio's WFLZ
Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
The Joe Show has all the news and info you need.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Top stories at the top of the hour with Katie Summers.
So this is according to a new lawsuit, wrestling icon
and Tampa regular.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I'm sure you've seen him somewhere around the Tampa Bay area.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Ric Flair claims that a digital talent agency defrauded and
duped him publicly. into signing away rights to his own
image and likeness.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
His image and his likeness.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
You guys.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
This is the most believable story of all time. If
anyone's going to do that, it's Ric Flair. If they said, hey,
there's a guy who did this, who do you think
it is? They wouldn't have to tell me Tampa. They
wouldn't have to tell me the WWE. You tell me
he's famous, I'm going to say Ric Flair for that one.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Woo!
Speaker 6 (00:52):
Yeah, he did.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
That part.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
So it's a $ 10 million lawsuit claiming that, I don't
know if it's FAM or FAM Networks, they promised Ric
Flair a six-figure monthly revenue stream that allegedly never maternalized.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Materialized.
Speaker 7 (01:08):
Maternalized.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
He said that he's.
Speaker 6 (01:10):
Going to shut up.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
He said he wants to, quote, bury this company. He's
lost out on at least $ 250, 000 in revenue.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Dang.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Didn't he poop his pants at a restaurant or was.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
That a different America?
Speaker 6 (01:30):
So it's Monday.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
This Monday is the 78th annual Emmy Awards.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
So the show is continuing their trend of show reunions.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
So Kate Jackson, Jacqueline Smith, and Cheryl Ladd of Charlie's Angels,
they're going to reunite celebrating the 50th anniversary of that show.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
So this is obviously going to make me cry.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Dan Levy and Annie Murphy, they're going to do a
tribute to Schitt's Creek star, the late Catherine O'Hara.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
But then Macaulay Culkin is going to go on stage, too.
Is he? Yeah, from Home Alone Son. Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
I was going to say Mr. Curry, but... Tim Curry?
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
What's the holiday movie you like? I'm sure they'll do
a tribute to Tim Curry.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
Family Stone?
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Is she in that?
Speaker 2 (02:17):
That's not the wife movie I got.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
No, that's Diane Keith.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
That's Diane Keith.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
That was a couple years ago.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
You've got to stop being so serious. Oh, it gets
me every time. Damn.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
So good.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Presenters include Zendaya, David Harbour, along with Sally Field.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Amy Poehler, Kiki Palmer, Mariska Hargitay.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
I was going to say, put some respect on my girl.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'm saving the best for last.
Speaker 8 (02:39):
Alaska.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
And finally, researchers at the University of California, Riverside, they
have renamed, I'm sorry, they have named 12 newly discovered
plant-feeding insects after Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
I'm down with it.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
This is one of the folklore.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
It's called a Swiftie Phyllis. And then they're just calling
it the Swiftie.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
They also have other species carrying the Taylor Swift coded name.
Speaker 7 (03:03):
Taylor, lover.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
She probably actually hates it. Fearless poets.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
So they named the bugs after her because I guess
they look like her.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
She's suing them. I was like, they better get ready
for her mom.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
They said they have Taylor Swift's iconic blonde hair and
red lips.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, no, I would not. Don't ever compare me to
an insect. What kind of bug is that?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
What would you do if a bug pulled up looking
like that? What would you do if you hit a bug,
your windshield splatters, and it's like lipstick and eyeliner?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Don't say that, because I had a lot of bugs
on the way here.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
And I don't have washer fluid right now. You're down bad.
I'm down bad.
Speaker 3 (03:46):

Speaker 6 (04:05):
What the hell day is it?
Speaker 2 (04:06):
It's Thursday.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Come on.
Speaker 6 (04:08):
We need to get your.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Cold brew, buddy. We can fight through.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Broadcasting live from Walt Disney World. 840 annual passes.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
You'll win those. Commercial free on 93.3 FLZ. Hold on.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Did you burp?
Speaker 6 (04:25):
No, I got a little something in my throat. Speaking of,
Jed was... Sucking it to the bone yesterday, bro.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
What?
Speaker 6 (04:32):
Yeah, he was.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Speaking of.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Wait, what?
Speaker 6 (04:35):
Sucking that thing to the bone.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
What, at dinner?
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah, you made me uncomfortable.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Why?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know, I don't like wing eaters like this. 804
on day 9393. You eating your wings like an animal?
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Like a straight savage.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
I love sucking wings.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
I'm convinced if you could, you would eat the bone.
If it was edible, absolutely. If I didn't have to
worry about getting, like, because it splinters. Yes.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
I don't like it.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
Why? I don't like the way you eat the wings.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Why?
Speaker 6 (05:07):
It's gross.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
What?
Speaker 6 (05:09):
I hope you don't do it around Rodina, your girlfriend.
Speaker 8 (05:11):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
This is why boneless wings are superior, which also shout
out to Ashley.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
I know. They inspired. They inspired. I know. That was disgraceful.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
I was a child.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
I felt like I was 12.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I was really disappointed. I wasn't mad at Ashley. I
was disappointed.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
But the way you eat it, the way you eat
it is crazy. No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Also, we've done the whole, you know, a guy shouldn't
when it rains too hard thing. There's a specific speed
you put your windshield wipers at.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
A guy can't go full speed.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
You have to go full speed.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
A guy, no.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I'm telling you, a guy can't use a turn signal
because you can't let another man know where you're going.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
A guy can't eat a bone or eat the wing
the way Jed does.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
You want to talk about what a guy can't do?
What I told you yesterday?
Speaker 5 (05:58):
What else? With the Uber?
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
Ashley brought this up. And you know what? I had
to think about this.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
What is this?
Speaker 6 (06:04):
It's a lie. And I think she's on to something.
But a straight man... Hold on.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
He can't even get it out.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
What are you trying to tell us about a straight man?
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Well, Ashley said... She said, hey.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
And this is all because I saw it coming outside
of my apartment.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
Oh, okay. She said, should a guy get into an Uber? Backseat.
The backseat of an Uber with a guy driving. And
I thought about it.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
What were they supposed to say?
Speaker 6 (06:33):
I don't think that a man should.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Call an Uber.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, another man should walk in.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
You're really going to let another guy drive you?
Speaker 6 (06:43):
You and your girl?
Speaker 2 (06:44):
It's kind of a flex. No, it's not.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
He's driving a, I don't know, a Pontiac.
Speaker 6 (06:49):
A Kia.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
A Kia Sorento. A Kia Soul.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
There's nothing wrong with those cars.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I love a Kia. I love a Kia, too.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
Actually, I'll say this. Guys should not be driving a
Kia Soul.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
But it was very feminine for him to just get
in the car and hop in and get on his phone.
I was just like, oh, I didn't realize how much
of an ick that was for me.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Let me ask you a question with this then. Because
we wear baseball jerseys and all that. Can a guy
wear another guy's name on his back?
Speaker 7 (07:17):
It depends on the situation. Like if you're going to
the event, like a sporting event, sure. Because I hit
a weird point.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
My brother's a senior in college, so he brought it
up to me, too. He's like, hey, players are getting
younger than me. Players are younger than me now. And
I was wearing a jersey of a player that was
younger than me. I'm 30. And it made me go, ah, shoot.
(07:46):
I don't think I can do this anymore. I don't
think a guy should wear another guy's.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
Name on his back. You want to wear Michael Jordan?
That's okay.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
Goats.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
You got to only wear goats. But you want to
wear a Chandler Simpson jersey?
Speaker 6 (08:03):
You can't do that. He's too young.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
But he's great.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
He's great. He's great. There's no denying he's great. But
a guy can't wear a guy. You know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (08:13):
I'm going to buy a Chandler Simpson jersey out of.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Spite of you.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
I bet you will when you're stuck on that wing.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
There is nothing wrong with getting, you realize that I
am getting full dollar value by sucking on those wings.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
You eat it to the grizzle.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
I do. You don't like the little cartilage?
Speaker 8 (08:28):
No!
Speaker 5 (08:29):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Did he say cartilage?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Yeah, the little.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
You can't leave any meat on the bone. Are you
like that too? I mean, I'm not going to eat
the little like tendons and stuff.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Oh, I love the tendons.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
But I like all this skin. That's the best part.
That's where all the sauce is.
Speaker 6 (08:42):
That is so disgusting.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
You guys had boneless wings.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
And we were part of the clean plate club. There's
nothing like eating those wings.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
You cleaned your plate. You cleaned the wings. You cleaned everything.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
Hey, can a guy eat celery? No.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Can a guy eat something with no nutrition?
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Um, yes.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
Can a guy, I don't know. Celery does that. You
lose calories while eating it.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
I don't know. I don't know if a guy can
do that.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
It cleanses your palate. I don't know if I want
you to cleanse your palate.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Can a guy sit the way I'm sitting right now?
Speaker 1 (09:14):
No.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
I do. I do. If I can't, then you can
take my man apart.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
If those shorts were a little bit short, guys can't
wear those either, Joe.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Yeah, what do you think about the short shorts? Can
a guy wear.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Oh, God, I do not want to stand up right now.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yeah, because Jen loves the short shorts.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
And as we do all of this, because one dummy
is going to be listening and going, Oh, my God,
they're disgusting.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
They're bigots.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
How dare they say this? Obviously, I'm being very serious.
What sucks is that now I go into Publix and
I grabbed a cart one time.
Speaker 6 (09:47):
Because I don't think a.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Guy can push a cart in a grocery store. I
did and immediately got called out for it.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
By your fiancé?
Speaker 6 (09:58):
No, I'm serious. someone at Publix was like, you literally
just spent 10 minutes talking about how they can't do that.
Speaker 7 (10:05):
Okay, so then, Joe, what do you think about men
who bring in the shopping baskets?
Speaker 6 (10:10):
Yeah, no.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
What are you, Dorothy?
Speaker 6 (10:12):
You can't do that.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Or guys who bring in their reusable bags. It's like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Be a man and realize you can't grab all your groceries,
and then you leave the grocery store with not as much,
and you're mad and frustrated. Can a guy, if we
can't get in an Uber, can a guy have another
man bring him food?
Speaker 7 (10:33):
I'm conflicted on that as well.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Now, if it's a woman, can you bring a man food?
They said man food.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, could you imagine that Uber request? Like, I only
need women to bring me food.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
Right, that's not creepy. Have you seen the women-only Ubers?
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:51):
Which, by the way, isn't that just an invitation for
a pervert?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Oh, I think it's girl to girl. Yeah, it's girl.
Women supporting women.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Then why does it give me the option?
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Does it really?
Speaker 2 (11:01):
No, you can't do that.
Speaker 6 (11:02):
Hey, that's all.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
No, you can't.
Speaker 7 (11:06):
That's women supporting women, but when I want a woman
to deliver food to me, that's all.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
You're so wrong.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
I can do it.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Watch.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
Where are we going to go?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
It's like you're ordering an Uber for someone else.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
Oh, you're wrong. You know why?
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Watch this.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
That says Joe is a woman.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Watch this.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
Women drivers. Joe's a woman. Women drivers.
Speaker 8 (11:24):
Right.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
By women, for women. Joe, do you not identify as
a woman?
Speaker 6 (11:27):
Sure. Choose women drivers. It would let me do that.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
By women, for women. So if you were calling your
fiancee Alyssa an Uber.
Speaker 6 (11:35):
You could do women, women. I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
But if you got in there, they'd drive off. This
looks like danger. She'd see you and drive off.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
That is dangerous. I agree with Joe.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
But she'd see you and drive off.
Speaker 6 (11:46):
Who's on the phone right now, Jamie? Sorry. Oh, I
love Daryl. Daryl, please don't say you eat your wings
like Jed does.
Speaker 8 (11:58):
No, I do not, bro. I was just wondering, you're
talking about an Uber driver. What are you supposed to
do if you're in a limo? Are you supposed to
jump in the front with the limo driver?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
That's different.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
It's black tie. No, limos are sick.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, he's got this thing.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
No, no, no. The guy's got on open-toe sandals.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (12:17):
No, you're paying for this person to take you somewhere,
so it's basically like a limo driver right along.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
It's not.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
No, it's not the same experience. Even if you ordered
the Uber Block XL, it's not the same as having
a limousine.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
And you might get in the car and it smells
like cigarettes.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Right.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
Or hookah.
Speaker 8 (12:32):
Well, come on, y'all. You're doing the same thing. You're
paying for Uber Drive, you're paying for a limo. It's
the same thing. Come on, y'all.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Different quality.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
Different quality. I would say a limo is way more expensive, too.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
And those don't even exist anymore.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
A limo? I can't tell you the last time I
saw a limo, but they are inherently awesome.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Bring him back.
Speaker 8 (12:50):
Ain't it the same thing? Joe, what you going to do?
You going to jump in front of the limo driver?
Speaker 4 (12:56):
No.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
A limo is so different than getting back into some guy's.
Speaker 8 (13:01):
Are you paying for the same thing, Joe?
Speaker 2 (13:03):
No, you're not. They got champagne in the limo.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
If I call an Uber and it's a dude in
a Subaru, if it's not one of Ashley's girlfriends, I'm
not getting in.
Speaker 6 (13:17):
Love you, Daryl.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Love you, Daryl.
Speaker 8 (13:18):
Have a good one. Talk to you later.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
See you. Hey, bye.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yeah, that's a different experience, that limo and the car.
Can't compare. Can't compare the two. Absolutely not.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
I miss the Hummer limos. Those were so electric.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I know a guy can cut his toenails, but can
a guy trim his toenails?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, that's acceptable. I'll give you that. I'll give you that. Yeah,
I'll give you that.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
No, no, no. I will give you that.
Speaker 5 (13:46):
Can you file your nails?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
That's kind of.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
That's where I draw the line.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I have a nail file in the studio for you guys.
I was about to say, Joe asked for one the
other day, not too long ago.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
It's pink.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
Can a man wax his brows?
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
You need them waxed, huh?
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Yeah, I'm starting to look like Quasimodo.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Are you right over there?
Speaker 5 (14:11):
Yeah. You're trying to think.
Speaker 6 (14:13):
About what happens?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
He's thinking too much.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
You're overthinking. Never mind. Never mind.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yeah, never mind.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
Can a man.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Never mind.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Say it.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
I want to hear it.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
No.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Can a man wear a woman's underwear?
Speaker 3 (14:29):
No.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
No.
Speaker 6 (14:30):
This is the problem. Never mind.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Can a man look at another man when he cuts
his hair? Do you close your eyes when you get
your hair cut?
Speaker 2 (14:39):
100%. I think that's... Because you got to be like this?
Speaker 6 (14:45):
Yeah. Is it weird?
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Do you feel him breathing on you?
Speaker 6 (14:50):
Kyle, my... They do get close.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
I never realized that.
Speaker 6 (14:52):
To be honest, I kind of love it. Really? Yeah,
I wish Kyle would wash my hair, too.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
I think you should get your hair washed by your barber.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
Just a little, like, nice little head rub. Yeah. By
the way, that's just bro stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, bro taking care of bro.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
Dude, bro... Like, hey, you want to rub my head, bro?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
My friends rub my hair all the time. I love
a good scalp rub.
Speaker 6 (15:12):
Yeah, you want to like... Moisturizer?
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Yeah, you just want to like kind of like rub my.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Eyebrows real quick.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
Yeah, like touch my mustache.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Jed seems like he keeps his eyes open when he
gets his cut.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
You should see how close he gets to my mustache
when he trims it.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Oh, yeah. Something about a relationship between a man and
his barber.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Oh, yeah. Solid relationship, for sure.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
I know Kyle's listening right now. I'm thinking about Kyle.
I'm touching my head. I'm going to see him on Saturday.
I can't wait. Anyways, don't push a cart. That's the...
I still stand by it.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
I just want you guys to appreciate that I didn't
take it far.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
You held back. Very proud of you.
Speaker 6 (15:54):
We're going to pause to buy a carpenter?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
No.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
No, we're not.
Speaker 6 (15:57):
Actually, never mind.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
You know what?
Speaker 5 (15:59):
We're going to.
Speaker 6 (16:00):
Play this song and get ready for it.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
93.3 FLZ.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
The Joe Show's Secret Sound. All right, here we go.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
We play it twice, you guess it once, and the
first person to tell me what it is and obviously
be correct. I mean, we've had a lot of people
tell me what it is, but they ain't been right.
First person to do so correctly goes to Walt Disney
World for a full entire year. These are annual passes. Jamie,
who are we picking up?
Speaker 6 (16:30):
Hi, Danielle.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Hey, how you guys doing? Danielle, I'm great. You know,
we're live at Walt Disney World, which is always fun.
I'm not as good as you, though, in 20 seconds.
Because in 20 seconds, I think that we're going to
be freaking out and giving away these tickets. Jamie, play
this sound twice, and then we'll hear from Danielle.
Speaker 6 (16:58):
All right.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Danielle.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
Danielle. What is the Joe Show secret sound?
Speaker 8 (17:06):
I have been dealing with my son trying to figure
this out, and we both come to the conclusion that
it's a bag of candy being dumped.
Speaker 6 (17:18):
That is correct. Danielle, congratulations.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Yes. Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
That was great. That was great.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 7 (17:30):
My heart.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
Danielle.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I'm really crying. gonna cry well let danielle cry because
i'm gonna we're gonna use this in the promo and
and play it and then send it to walt disney
world and get more tickets oh my god i can't
believe it oh my god.
Speaker 7 (17:53):
I can't sleep because he works overnight and i can't
wake him up.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Danielle, I'm so happy for you. I'm so excited for you.
And this right here, this moment right here is exactly
why every year I get most excited.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
To be able to do this.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
So thank you for being a part of the family.
I love when you call in. I love that you're
the one that won. You and your family are genuinely
someone who has an annual pass, and it was a
lifelong thing to have as a kid. You're just going
to have the best year ever.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
So congratulations.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
Oh, my God. Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I can't believe this.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
Hey, do me a favor, too.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Make sure when you tell them, film it and tag
us on social media so we can post it, okay?
Speaker 8 (18:43):
I will definitely do that. Oh, my God. You guys
are the best. I love all four of you and
Jamie and everybody else.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
You guys are just incredible. And I'm shaking. I can't
stop shaking.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
We love you more.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Jamie, by the way, is going to sleep very good tonight.
Speaker 6 (19:00):
Jamie, you got a shout-out, isn't that nice? I'm warm
and tingly inside. Danielle, you made Jamie tingly, so congratulations.
Speaker 8 (19:09):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (19:10):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Danielle, I'm going to put you on hold.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
You're going to talk to DMZ, who DMZ is not
only the best DJ, but also he is the best
when it comes to tickets, so... And by the way,
the moment I said that out loud, I realized what
I said. He is the best DJ half. There are
two best DJs. Jamie is the other best DJ. And
as I say that out loud, I realize this will
(19:36):
be sent to Drew. They are one-third of the best DJs.
And as I say this, I realize Berlander listens to
the show every day. They're one-fourth of the best DJs.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
And Chism Chism doesn't listen to the show.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
All right.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Congratulations. We're so, so, so happy for you. Say hi
to DMZ for us.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
Look at that.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
That was so fun. I love giving away Disney.
Speaker 6 (20:00):
By the way, Jules was convinced it was a bag
of chips.
Speaker 7 (20:04):
Wrong.
Speaker 6 (20:06):
Wrong, wrong.
Speaker 7 (20:09):
Um, all right.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
War of the Roses is on the way.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
We have almost, almost 550,000 streams right now in War
of the Roses.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
550.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Um, we had 1.2 million on, uh, last week's Roses.
So we'll, we'll see if we can reach a milli again. And,
and thank you to, uh, to all who make us
one of the most listened to podcasts in the, uh,
the country. Um, Definitely the most listened to in Tampa Bay.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
So look at that. That's a humble brag. Moving on. 804-09-9393.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Is there something that gets you to cry? What was
that last thing that got you to bawl your eyes out?
Because yesterday we got to tour something that's going to
be opening at Hollywood Studios and Walt Disney World very, very,
very soon. And this is the art of animation. Can
(21:07):
someone check and make sure I'm getting.
Speaker 6 (21:08):
That name correct?
Speaker 2 (21:09):
It's the magic of Disney animation.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
All right.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
I was completely way off. It is the magic of
Disney animation. The magic of Disney animation.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
All right. That makes so much more sense. So it's
a really cool experience.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
They've got character meet and greets, which we all love.
They've got a drawing experience, which you can actually win
tickets right now on our Instagram if you can tell
us correctly who drew what.
Speaker 6 (21:36):
So, at Live with Joe Show.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
And then they bring you into a theater and you
watch like a cartoon of every single character that's ever
been in a Disney animation. And it's essentially the story
is like they're celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Disney and
So they're jumping out of the paintings when the offices close.
(22:02):
So everyone leaves and all the paintings come to life.
And then Mickey's gathering all of his friends. And then
they're gathering them to take a 100-year picture. I had
seen this before. It came out about a year ago.
So I watched this before. I had already seen it.
I had already gone through what I knew Katie was
(22:24):
going to go through. If Katie didn't see it, I
thought you already saw it. So I was not expecting
this to happen. But there is a very sweet moment.
And I'll even spoil it for you because it's been
out for a year. There's a moment where, while they're
all trying to gather everyone, Mickey walks up to a
picture of Walt Disney and he's.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
Like, Hey. And he's all sad.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
And.
It just, I don't know, it hit me in the feels.
And when I turned to my left, Katie was bawling
her eyes out.
Speaker 6 (22:56):
Are you about to cry right now? No, you were
going to think that.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
My eyelash itched. But I am getting, like, ugh. It
was so nostalgic and beautiful and sweet and all your
favorite Disney characters. So I'm, like, watching this. And you, like,
remember where you were and who you were with when
you watched this movie. Okay, now I feel like I'm
getting emotional.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
It was so good.
Speaker 8 (23:16):
And I cried.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Bald her eyes out.
Speaker 6 (23:20):
What made it so good?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Shut up. Knock it off. I'm too Pisces right now. No,
it was just very special.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Why was it special?
Speaker 5 (23:28):
Yeah, tell us, Summers.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Why do you guys like making me cry? I just
want to know why it was special to you.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
You're human.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
Because maybe the next time, if I know why you
thought it was special, maybe I'll think it's special and I'll.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
Cry next time.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
I'll make sure I'm next to you. Because I'll roll
tape on it. You can actually see me crying at
the end of the TikTok that I posted. No, it
was just really well done.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
Do you think about your childhood?
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Of course, we all do.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Like hanging out with your cousins in your mom's basement,
watching movies, sleepovers.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
I feel like we really had her crying and then
you two talked. Which, by the way, too, can I
just say, while we're in there, I was so... frustrated
with Jed and Ashley.
Speaker 6 (24:09):
Why?
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Because you dumbasses are the whole entire time, you guys
are like, hey, hey, Jody, you wish you went to
high school with Peter?
Speaker 6 (24:19):
Hey, hey, you like Disney, you know?
Speaker 1 (24:22):
It was pissing me off because the whole entire time
I'm going, hey, this is one of the sweetest cartoons
of all time.
Speaker 8 (24:30):
It is.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
I enjoyed it. It was really good. And you, Jed?
Speaker 5 (24:32):
And he still managed to cry after me.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
I don't know why it's so funny.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
Dude, I cry at the stupidest stuff all the time.
Speaker 6 (24:42):
You should have cried at it.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
I cried at a Billy Strings show with my dad.
You don't think that's a bad thing?
Speaker 4 (24:49):
I think the best cry for me because it was
so random when Jed cried because Joe was asked to
speak at his father's Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Joe was just chilling and Jed just started bawling in
his eyes. I was like, wait, what's going on?
Speaker 6 (25:04):
Who's happier? Wait, there's a couple. There's a couple.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Because Jed is, you know what, and maybe that's what
made me mad, was Jed is one of the most
sentimental people.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
I cry a lot.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
When we got this.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Job, remember in the studio?
Speaker 6 (25:17):
I cried when we got the job, too.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
He was bawling.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
You didn't cry at yesterday's thing because you two were
giggling and acting like bad kids in the back of
the classroom.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
What?
Speaker 1 (25:28):
But, like, Jed, when I told Jed that my uncle
passed away, which is a really rough thing for me,
Jed cried before I cried.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
I can sense what Joe's about to tell me bad information.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Oh, you're an empath.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
You are.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
He's a water sign. It's all the feels.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
How does it make you feel when he cries for you? Well.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
The other one was, I got.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
You look all manly and meanwhile over here I'm looking
like a total sack.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
I came in and I got Jed a Chelsea football jersey.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
And I gave it to him. And the moment I
handed it to him, he started to cry. And it
was only us in the studio. And the moment he
started to cry, literally in my head, I go, I'm
never buying.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
Another jersey again.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
I can't.
Speaker 6 (26:13):
I'm just kidding. I wasn't.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
Well, I guess it is weird if he's crying and
it's just you two in the studio. Because if I
walk in or Katie walks in, we're like, what's going
on here?
Speaker 6 (26:22):
I called him fat.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
That one hurt him really bad.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
That wouldn't even make him sad. He would just go,
you're fat. You eat sour cream.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
I also cried at this one thing on Facebook, and
I think it's on Instagram, too.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
It's called Relative Race. What is that?
Speaker 7 (26:42):
They try to basically think of Amazing Race, but you're
trying to find out who your parents or your grandparents
or your.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Own aunts and uncles are.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
What?
Speaker 5 (26:50):
It will tug your tears. It's a tear tugger.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Is it?
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, here we go. Uh-oh, here comes the tears.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Just maybe.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Joe's queuing them up.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
Queuing what up?
Speaker 5 (27:00):
The tears. The tears.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Come on, man. I said that was you and John.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
And they do When You Wish Upon a Star, and
everyone's singing it together.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Joe, come on. You guys are... Oh, it's so good.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Mickey, where are you?
Speaker 7 (27:24):
We're in the lobby.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Gotta go.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
But thanks.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
On with the show.
Speaker 6 (27:33):
Stop it.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
On with the show. Everybody, they are. That's what Disney
does to you, man.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Meanwhile, we're watching this and Ashley is going, I bet
you wish you could talk to the picture. Hey.
Speaker 6 (27:47):
Every time Walt Disney says, Hey, it's your dad.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
I'm crying because I'm laughing hard.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
Stop it.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I'm going to have cramps, bro.
Speaker 6 (28:01):
Stop it.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
I'm cramping right now.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
I hope you do.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
It hurts.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
You make me laugh too much. Can we go see
that again today? I'm down to go watch that again.
Speaker 6 (28:11):
Yeah, I'll go, but it's 89. You two can sit
up now.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
No, we're all going again. We're a team, bro.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
We're a team.
Speaker 6 (28:19):
No, I'm not doing anything with you guys again. I
really enjoyed it. I did. Because apparently it's all a joke.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
It's not.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
It's not.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
You're playing with my emotions.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
It just touched your heart a little bit.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
No, we're not laughing at you. We're laughing with you.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
You giggled.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Those are happy tears.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
What's coming up with the news? It's just going to be,
by the way, it's just you and me. It's just
you and me.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
Hey, technical foul.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
We're going to talk about Miley Cyrus and the two
shows that she planned, but people are having a little bit.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Of an issue getting tickets. And then my computer isn't
working right now, so I will have to find another story.
Speaker 6 (28:55):
Come on, make up a news story. What's coming up.
Speaker 5 (28:57):
In the news?
Speaker 2 (28:58):
There's some food news that's trending, and it's pumpkin spice... Everything.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Can we also talk about the naked man at the
Tampa courthouse, the naked man with the pool noodle?
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Oh, my God, yes.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Did you see the wig he was wearing?
Speaker 6 (29:14):
Yes, the wig.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
I mean, my God.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
What a nod to history.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
It's crazy. All right, that and more is next.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
