You know what, Cass, you're a very sensible, sensible person.
I can tell that you know what's going on and
always right.

But it depends the moment.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I think. I think that sounds very wise to me, Cass.
Would you like to come work with us? Maybe in
eighteen years, eighteen years, twenty eight, I don't know. I'll think.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I got better things. I got better things.

good morning guys. Morning.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
You went to a party forty five minutes away from
you and what happened?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
So I went and this girl had a party out
at Port twenty seven in Polk County, So we all
drove out to this place because it's new whatever. I
took a gift and I gave it to her one
I was the only person that brought a gift to
this place. But if she looked at me like I
was crazy. She was like, oh, you came out here,
And it was like Ashley said, like just coming was
what all she expected. So when I gave her this gift,

(04:23):
she was like she looked at me like she was
the weirdest thing, Like she was not expecting a present,
like I had never been in that situation.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Did you take the gift back then?

Speaker 4 (04:35):
No, she took it and loved it, but it was
like she's like, why did you bring me something. I'm like,
it's a birthday party, right, I.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Bet your kids party? I will you know, I'll bring
it if we're on bowling. I'll do it, but adults,
come on, Yeah, you guys got expensive?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Yeah no, I mean and I bought her like a
little like handbag. It was like it was cute, but
I think I spent like eighty bucks on it. Plus
the trip out there, girl like I was crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Huh interesting, Well mark that down.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
No one's ever going to get a gift ever again
when it comes to which is a good gift giver?
So this is this is horrible for all those involved. You, Amanda,
what do you think.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
I I called before about the sweatshirt for Christmas, and
so you guys remember that. Yeah, So so you guys
know where I stand on gifts, and.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
But remind me.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Okay, so if if the I mean grown people shouldn't
be having birthday parties.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Let's just not.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
I I guys, I have a have a small group
of friends get together and do something together, like an excursion.
But then that's the gift. Okay, I could be a party,
but I mean, like the if you're having two hundred
people come over for your birthday, that's no. Have you go?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
You're grown people at my Rai's birthday.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
I think you're more special the excursions. The birthday gift.
I mean, maybe uh, something that's you know, if they drink.
Maybe something that's not terribly expensive that we can share
on the trip, because usually you can bring your own alcohol.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
But I know, I'm I'm pulling.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Up, like what a let's party. My excitement there will
trump her even thinking of a gift like a drink. Yeah,
I'll do that.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
I think, Amanda, you're the best. Bye test you say,
just write a nice card.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah, I've gone to you know, the birthday parties. It's expensive,
and I just write them a really nice card.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I don't see why.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
I mean that's sentimental too, so shows you know that
you care. And I don't know. I've just written a
cute card.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Well, are they upset that there's not money in it?

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:16):
No, sorry, no money in it.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
I'll put monopoly money.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
You though, all right, Tess, We love you well, Ashley,
best of luck going on.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
