We're live Tampa Bay's number one and only hit music
channel ninety three three f l Z. Has today been
like the best day ever?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
It's been a great day.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
Katie doesn't like it.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
I was just silently agreeing, yes, I had a lot
of fun. Okay, all right, just now, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Hey didn't didn't even't realize you didn't like it.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
I was smiling nod, which works so well on the radio.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
What did you leave behind unattended on accident and then
someone took it from you and you no longer have it? Jed,
you believe you had something stolen from you. Now here's
another question too with it, because you left it behind unattended,
is it really yours?
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Okay? I that's okay. To answer your first question, Joe,
was that the gyms day, I was jumping rope outside. Okay,
I leave the jump rope down to go to the bathroom.
When I come back, jump rope's gone. So I go
over the person working at the front desk. I said, hey,
do you mind checking the security camera for me? Because
somebody stole my jump rope and they're like, no, that's impossible.
(01:17):
Oh I didn't see anything. I'm like, dude, just check.
He's like, well, you got to wait twenty four hours.
Twenty four hours for your security Like bad, bad system.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
But to answer your question, Joe, what do you want
me to write my name on it on on this
on the handles of a jump rope?
Speaker 4 (01:32):
Here's my thing?
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Okay, what's your thing?
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Why leave it on the ground, Because.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
I was going what do you want me to carry
it with me in my pocket? Is like go to
the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
That's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
I was gonna come back.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
To the gym.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
It's like, okay, well I'm gonna take this and I'm
gonna use it. But I go around looking to see
if people you were using.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
It, yeah, and then I went into them. I went
into the locker room to see if I want people's
bags that were bags were out.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Absolutely, you went through people's bay. If they had it,
it would be so mad.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
You know what, you would be mad if you were
me too and you had your jump rope that you
just got off of the Amazon.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
I'm the person that didn't take yourself. I'm like, wow,
he's going through my bag.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
Well, then tell the people at the gym to get
their s together and start making sure that things don't
get stolen like this.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
And I'm just shocked he went through people's bags. I
didn't know you did that.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
He's got the state trooperstache. I think now he's taking
it too series.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Where I had a warrant for that jump rope, that's
right sign you signed this.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Eight hundred four own NA ninety three ninety three. I
mean it's crazy. Honestly, I cannot believe you were okay,
you mean, ladies, what do you think about the going
through the bag?
Speaker 7 (02:45):
Then?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I think that's very bold, especially in Florida.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Yeah, it's it's a gym. I'm not so well so,
so don't steal my jump rope? How about that?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
So there wasn't like community the equipment, like everyone brings
their own stuff. I bring my own jump rope because
maybe they thought it.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Okay, Well, the ones that the gym are black. The
one that I have is lime green, so it's not
it's very easy to tell which one is mine of which.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
One is Why do you bring your own jump rope
to the gym?
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Because I don't want to touch other people's ropes, especially
if the weights. Yeah, the weights are different. Everybody has
to use those, not everybody has to use the jump ropes.
I guess the jump rope is easier to bring it. Yeah,
I can do it anywhere, and easier to steal. Now
if you go back, I guess in the.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
Next few days and you see said jump rope and
someone using it, are you going to come up to
them like, hey, man, that's my job.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
I'm going to do the same exact thing that they
did to me. I'm going to wait until they go
to the bathroom and then I'm going to take it back.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
But what are there two steps ahead of you?
Speaker 6 (03:46):
And like, hey, I'm not going to leave it down
on the floor thinking people will think it's a community
jump rope and they're going to put it in their back.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Well, the person running the front desk already knows, so
will I said, I tell the person run on the
front desk, I said, I can't find my jumping.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Jeous, it's what are you gonna do when they checked
the cameras to see who's stile your muscle?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Your muscle, Yeah, it's not Joe's mind too.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
What are you going to do when they go back
and check and then they see that you went through
everyone's bags.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Well, that's in the locker room. You can't there's no
cameras in there. That's what you think. No, that's what
I know. I know that that there's gonna be some
I don't know. I'm gonna get down to the bottom
of this. I'm gonna find it, and if I find
it damage to, I'm going to take out some major action.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Act in the back of your squad.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Don't deserve my money, Chad.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Do you remember when you broke the jump rope at
my house? I broke a jump rope at Katie Summer's house.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
Broken broke.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
Yeah, that's because they were asked.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
They also had asked.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Me to do it.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
What did you do? He was jump roping in the
living room and was doing it so aggressively that it broke.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
And he still hasn't gotten you a new jump So
you need.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
To your do not owe me a jump rope. I'm
just teasing you.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Do He said he was going to get me one though.
You can't say you're going to do things and don't
do them.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
I do that too, and hope people forget. Yeah, I
got you. I remember She's only remembering it now because you.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Know you brought it up.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
You got to be thought about it until just now.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
What if you jump rope? Value that I can check in.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Ones. They're like forty five dollars forty five fifty bucks.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
You buy indestructible ones.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Bought one I do because it was kind of crappy,
and oh do.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
You actually actually, I'll give it to you right now.
I have a brand new one out of the box
because you can jump. Well, you need one, right, I
promised you to jump. The same thing happened to me, Joe.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Maybe it's a meat thing. When I was in kindergarten,
our first grade, where I left, I left my game
boy case with all my games out in front of it,
and then I come back, same thing applied. They had
stolen some of.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
The games, like community games. Yeah, it sounds like it.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
It looks like community games.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
It's all right, man, I know, bad luck, chaid. Maybe
the stash will change the luck.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Well, no, you just lost it.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
But you walk up to me and say give me
that jump rope. Always your buddy, it's yours, buddy. I'm
not messing with you.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
That.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
If you see a guy with it. What do you
do depends on their stature bigger than you? Bigger in
what way? Just taller or morescular?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
I would say tall, I would say Chris are Paul's height?
Speaker 7 (06:38):
Okay, mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
I would still confront him.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
Hey, can I go jump? I better?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I don't think Yeah, check the camera, No, we will
check the cameras.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
If you see something, they're gonna bring it back to
the place you stole it from.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
People do that all the time, not me, if I
were right, I can't believe he went through people's back
I know what, and I believe he did that.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
No, of course, I'm just scared to do that than
to like confront someone my jump rope.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
I'm gonna wait for them to the you know who's
coming in and you're looking through their bagh.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Hey is that my jump rope? Twenty second, you're the
guy that went through my backpack, Like, who's more in
the wrong.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Imagine him stealing it back out of that bag and
then the person being upset that he went into the
bag and take it back.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Also, there's one hundred percent chance just someone at the
gym thought that that was and it's.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Probably just hanging up on the Jim equipment.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Right like percent, that's the case. Hey Chris, what's up?
Speaker 7 (07:51):
Yeah? I messed up doing how'd you mess? So? When
I was growing up, it just had them in reasoning.
It was really old. So Mark back in the day Marks,
my cousin, he bought a brand new pair of Jordan's
and that's when they was like really expensive, like two
hundred something bucks or something like that, when they first
started getting really expensive, and he let me borrow them
because I thought they were great. I took him the
gym class one day, put them in a locker and
(08:13):
switch my shoes off because I want a pair of
shoes up. Obviously, go back to go look for the
pair of shoes, and they were missing because I didn't
think that somebody would find them in a locker and
they didn't have a lock on it. But unfortunately, somebody
went through all the lockers and they found those shoes
and never found them ever again.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
What ended up happening. You have to buy them new shoes,
and I did not, And.
Speaker 7 (08:32):
My cousin didn't hate me, thankfully. You know, he was
like you know something, He's like, I'm never gonna let
you borrow anything ever. Again. That was it. That was
it for that I lick. Thankfully I didn't have to
replace them, though.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Chris, what would you do if you were at the
gym and he walked into the locker room you saw
a guy going through your backpack.
Speaker 7 (08:50):
I busting on his mom for real? I mean, I
ain't gonna lie. I would tackle him like what you're
doing in my back.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
I cannot believe that Jed was going take.
Speaker 7 (08:58):
My jump rope cut. I can't believe you. I can't
believe you love your jump, Chris, this is what.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Thing so much to just leave the ground.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
Was the only person outside, okay, jumping the only person there.
I go inside to take a week, but Chris, I
left it for three minutes.
Speaker 7 (09:21):
Three minutes, take three minutes when somebody walk by outside.
It don't take that long?
Speaker 4 (09:26):
All right?
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Well, coming up the next time we're on the so
coming up tomorrow. Okay, I want you today? Are you
gonna go to the gym?
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Probably?
Speaker 4 (09:36):
I want you to go check it. I bet you.
I'm willing to bet right now it is hanging up
for the jump, upe, sir.
Speaker 7 (09:43):
It might be he might be right about that.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
I think no, I don't think.
Speaker 7 (09:47):
It could have been. It could have been. It could
have been a crew member that picked.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
Up if I had, If I have, make a million
dollar bet, I guarantee you it's at the front desk
when I walk in.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
We'll find out. You're the best. Love talking to you, man,
You have a great day.
