Speaker 1 (00:00):
This portion of The Joe Show podcast is powered by
Fair and Farah, Tampa Accident Attorneys. I want to know
about this though, So, uh, there is a new movie
releasing in a couple of days. It is The Mandalorian
and Grogu. If you wake up with The Joe Show,
you already know, thanks Ashley, but you already know here.

(00:20):
I'll sit down. It's like I'll sit down. I'm gonna
sit down, all right. Anyways, So The Mandalorian and Grogu
is releasing in a couple of days, and this movie
follows three seasons kind of four, kind of five seasons

(00:43):
of Star Wars television. Now there's three of the Mandalorian.
You got the Book of Boba Fett, and then he
also is in a Soka and something's happened in that
show that's pretty pretty, pretty important for the grand scheme
of things. Now leading up to this movie, I have
been attempting to but I don't think I have enough

(01:04):
time to watch through all of that and catch up
to it. And there's a part of me now that
kind of wants to delay seeing the movie. Now, realistically,
I'm not going to do it because people are already
threatening spoilers. They let people see that. Oh it's the worst,
It's the worst.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Like what do you get out of that?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And I hope that Star Wars take notes of all
the people that they allowed to see early and if
they spoil it, they should never be allowed to get
anything ever again, and they should invite me in their place,
just the thought. But my question is when you lead
up to that, like think about Stranger Things. When Stranger
Things released that last season, did you catch up on everything?
I'm going to tell you one that I really, I

(01:44):
genuinely believe, and I could be wrong. Let's look at
the numbers, if they're possible, look at them. But Euphoria, Euphooria,
it's their third season, right that they release three or
four recently? I think three? Is it the third? See
that's the problem is, like I remember when we were
all super into Euphoria. Right now we don't even know
what season it is because it took him so long, like.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Four years, right, four years so long.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
So I think that a lot of people aren't that
interested in it anymore because just too much time has passed,
Like I don't remember what's going on with any of
them now. So you'd have to rewatch and watch all
the way through. I did think about that because I
really liked Euphoria, but I don't want to dedicate my
time to that anymore. Eight ninety three ninety three. When

(02:32):
content like this releases, whether it be a show or
a movie or whatever it may be, I'm kind of curious.
I was thinking about Katie and Ashley too. But you know,
the queen of reality TV, you know, do you rewatch
through the last season before the new season releases of
you know, Real Housewives of Atlanta? You know? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I think the good thing about the reality shows is
that drama continues through the summer.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Right because you can keep following it.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Because I'm not totally all caught up with Summerhouse, but
I know everything that's happening on Summerhouse right now. Like
in real time, I could go straight to the reunion
and be fine. One show that I did have to
go back and rewatching it. I loved it so much,
but it was it wasn't even a lot of time
they took off. But Ozark they had five seasons.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
True, So I think the more seasons that.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Go on, it's just I get confused about what happened
and what season. So if they were to put out
a six season, I would go back and watch the
last two episodes.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I don't watch the whole season. I just watched the
last two episodes.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
It's tough, but there's just like great thing if you
like really love something and you get to like watch
it again or go through it again. You know, I'm
replaying a video game right now and yesterday, like I
know pretty much everything that's going on, and I'm just
trying to rewatch it because there's a potential that this
character is going to show up in the movie, so
I'm trying to like catch up behind things that happen,

(03:49):
and like yesterday, something happens in the game, like this
villain gets into the game and I like literally like
oh I forgot.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
That is a good moment when when I'm.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Rewatching The Mandalorian. I watched the first episode again a
couple of days ago. I just turned it on to
turn it on and like, I know everything. I've seen
The Mandalorian probably like six times through. Man every time,
it's like good to watch.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Good come And they also say when you watch something
over and over again, you see something different.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Oh one hundred percent one hundred percent. So I don't know.
I just like, I'm excited about the movie. But I
also there's a part of me that thinks like I
did myself a disservice by not trying to watch it
all the way through.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You have time, find a recap on time time.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
I agree, don't sleep. Recap videos are great? Ye why
don't you just power through the thirty minute forty minute
breakdown of each season?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Can I be honest with you the whole YouTube recaps
and stuff? You like them? No? I do like them sometimes.
I find them really interesting and I like that, like
the Star Wars people who do it, they're actually pretty good.
But there's one guy who used to watch a lot,
and he's made. Every time he does a recap video
of an episode, he apologizes at the beginning because he
forgot something.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I'm not saying. You're trusting someone to not, you know,
give you all the details.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
How do they know what I want to hear?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Fee, yeah, I never really thought about it that way.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
That's why I don't trust Rotten Tomatoes. I really go
see it myself.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
I just look at the fans score, honestly, because the
critics score always sucks because the critics were like, Michael
was such a bad movie, and then you look at
the fan score to the only critic, I.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
See Michael, and then you can go see Mandalorian.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Did you feel like you had to listen through all
of his albums before you saw the movie?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I downloaded them all again on my phone.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
I did it with Entourage. I thought Entourage was going
to be a like Next Level. I watched the first
i think five seasons or four seasons again before seeing
the movie. Total waste of time, siling thinking jokes. It's funny,
it is funny, but there was no correlation between a
lot of what happened in the show and what happened
in the movie. The movie was just like a big,

(05:58):
like grand finale of this series. Essentially, it's stunk.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Toy Story five comes out in exactly one month. Do
we have to rewatch episode episode five or watch Toy Story?
I think I would have to watch Toy Story for it. Yeah,
I'm gonna read, Well, what I would have to watch
all of them?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I've only seen one. I haven't seen but.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
That's completely different than what I'm talking about. Well, you're
talking about just watching them. I'm talking about rewatching them.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
No, but I'm saying you would you not go back
and rewatch toy story for forever?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I will do that. I will do that. It's just
tough with the Mandalorian because it's literally three seasons. They
are like hour long episodes.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I forgot about the don't even remember what happened in
that start today.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
See how are you telling you?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Because this is that's on Disney Plus, right, Joe? Is
there a feature on Disney Plus where you can watch
it at one and a half time?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
That your rain when you do that? I will do that.
You know that people listen to our podcast with that crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I do between it's like one point seven or two.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
That's nuts. Oh I don't do that. No. People Actually,
and by the way, you know some are starting we
got summer, you know, kicking off for some people. This
is the last week for them, or maybe next week
or the week after, you know, down let our free iHeartRadio.
What make sure you listen to the podcast?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
In my ears is like a podcast.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
So there is something that's going to be happening, and
I've been told that we cannot say what it is
just yet. But actually reminded me that I should start
teasing it. But I literally had a talking to from
someone else in the company that was like, hey, do
not say exactly what it is top secret. There will
be six shows in the company getting this on the app,

(07:52):
and because you guys all listen to it, and now
you know, someone there's a salesperson that said, we make
up the numbers, which just shows that do their job
and just look up the numbers. But because you guys
all stream the podcast and they you know, you guys
really do it, legitimately it will be us. It's Elvis

(08:13):
duran uh Mojo of the Morning. And then I'm probably
already saying too much, but there's gonna be a new
feature that releases on June first. And when I tell
you this is this is something that you know. I
was in New York a couple of years ago bringing
this up and they're like, I don't think that we
have the capability of ever doing it, And we got
the capability and this is going to be huge. But

(08:36):
I wonder what that feature is gonna be if you
speed it up. I don't know. I don't say too much,
say too much, but there is going to be a
new feature on the app. You're not gonna have to
download anything. Your phone will just update. And there's only

(08:59):
six shows in the company that we'll have this, and
we're one of them. So get ready. This is a
big deal. Download our free Iheartradiaro will only be on
the iheartradiop too, by the way. But we've been preparing
for it. We're getting ready for it. I'm actually curious
nine to seven seven two zero text in guess what
it is. I bet you can guess what it is.
