We are the Joe Show.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
This is the Joe Show.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
Good morning.
Speaker 5 (00:22):
Good morning. Oh, you guys sound great.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
No, we don't.
Speaker 6 (00:25):
Yeah, you do.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
But hey, how we feeling? Day two at Walt Disney World. Good.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
I feel really good.
Speaker 7 (00:32):
Very.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
Sparkling even.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I love it. Annual passes.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
We'll be hooking you up with that at 640, 640
Secret Sound.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
We need a winner today.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah. We must have a winner today because I'm tired
of being the only one who knows what the sound is.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
And shout out to Jackie. Yes, Jackie. Shout out to Jackie.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
We ran into her at Hollywood Studios. And she guessed
about 7,000 times. She said, it's this. I said, I
can't tell you. She said, well, then it's this. And
I said, I can't tell you. And then she kept going.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
Down the line.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Hey, along with broadcasting live from Walt Disney World, we
do have War of the Roses. War of the Roses,
a Hansi co-worker. Have you guys ever had to deal
with a Hansi?
Speaker 8 (01:17):
Yeah, uh-huh.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Uh-huh. I never had to, but.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
I mean, I feel... Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
We're women, you know? Guys be crazy. Seriously?
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Yeah. It's the female experience, unfortunately.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Does anyone we work with get handsy with you?
Speaker 5 (01:37):
I mean... What do you mean you mean?
Speaker 9 (01:39):
What?
Speaker 4 (01:40):
It's a yes or no question.
Speaker 8 (01:41):
I mean, it can make you uncomfortable, but it's just like,
at this point as a woman, you just gotta, like,
talk to your girls, like, hey, is this something I
need to go to management about?
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Yep, exactly.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
And it's like, alright, yeah, it's just like, yeah. That's
all I'm gonna say. Alright.
Speaker 8 (01:54):
You and Jed have never got handsy with Katie Summers,
and I have either.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Unless we actually do.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I would hope not. Only on weekends. Only on the weekends.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Along with the annual passes, we do have single-day tickets.
It's like a four-packet ticket with Park Hopper. We did
a little Instagram thing. We've got another one today that
we're doing, right? The animation one. We got to be
a part of a really cool experience. We'll talk about
it later. We were doing these drawings. We'll have you
guess who made what. That's going down. Later in the show,
(02:31):
make sure you're following us at Live with Joe Show. But,
I mean, listen, with us being here and staying in
the same rooms and everything, ladies, how was it?
Speaker 8 (02:40):
It was amazing once again. Me and Katie are just
the best roommates.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
I know. There's nothing going on in your rooms?
Speaker 5 (02:47):
No.
Speaker 8 (02:48):
And she wakes up so early that it's okay for
her to get ready and then I get ready.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
And I think we just have a great system. And
we're just like chatting. We watch the same stuff.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yep, exactly.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
We watched the football game last night. We did. Room
temp's great.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
And food's good. Food is good. No one snores.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
I mean, do I snore? Oh, no, Ashley, do I snore?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
I knew something. There was something that would happen.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Last night, she was tired. I was like, oh, Katie
Summers is tired, baby. Was it a cute snore? You whispered.
It was a whisper. I say girls don't snore, they whisper.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
How does she snore?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Because I would say that Jed snores like a blender.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
Oh, no. It's literally like a whisper. She's like.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
I don't believe that one bit.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
It is.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
It wasn't to the point where I, because I've been
in rooms with other people where I had to tell
them to wake up because it was so annoying.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
But yours was fine. It was just like white noise.
Did it blend in with my fan? Yeah, it did.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
I let Jed go for 20.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
What do you mean?
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Then he woke me up.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, I gave Jed 20 minutes of snoring and then
I had to wake him up.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
But they snored in the middle of the last night, too.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Was he?
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Was I? Why didn't you wake me up? Because I'm
not an a-hole.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Yeah, he let you.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Well, no, I couldn't. What am I supposed to do?
I couldn't fall asleep.
Speaker 8 (04:02):
I know, but don't you feel bad because you're thinking, like,
this person is snoring because they're having the best sleep
of their life.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
That's why I let Katie sleep.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah, but I don't. No, I don't feel bad. I
would have felt bad. You got to get your rest.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
Yeah, I was like, oh, I know.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
She's tired.
Speaker 7 (04:18):
I know.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
I got to get my rest, too.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
So, but what you did to me, I would not
do to you. I know you would, but what am I?
That's basically what you just said. Is there anything I
do that you don't like? Well, I know there's things
I do that you don't like.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
Yeah, what does he do?
Speaker 4 (04:37):
I won't leave in my... Dip slash sunflower seed cup
right next to the nightstand. How dare you?
Speaker 5 (04:43):
But Joe has to do something that you don't like.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
That's gross.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
There's got to be something. Does he leave it wet
on the ground.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
In the shower? He took up the whole entire drawer
space as soon as he moved in. Oh, my.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
No.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Yeah, you did.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Wait, what?
Speaker 8 (04:54):
No.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Yes, you did. That's so not fair. You said, hey,
are you going to use any of this? And then
I'm like, I don't think so. And then he just
comes in and pops in and throws in all of
his stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I said, hey, do you want to use any of this?
He goes, no, I don't think so. Okay, are you
sure you don't want to use this? He goes, yeah, no,
I don't need it. So then I put my stuff
in there. And I used six drawers.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Deal with it.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
I'm going to raise my hand so we can pocket
this for the next topic. You guys actually use the drawers?
Speaker 5 (05:21):
I was thinking the same thing.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
I use the Bible.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
The fact that you put your clothes in there.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
John 316. Read it last night. You don't use yours?
Speaker 8 (05:31):
No.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
No.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Not even a closet.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
You go out of the suitcase?
Speaker 5 (05:34):
My suitcase, yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
You don't use the closet?
Speaker 8 (05:37):
No.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Are you ladies savages?
Speaker 5 (05:38):
No.
Speaker 9 (05:39):
Sometimes I use the closet, but I actually wanted to
use it, so I was like, I'm just going to
use my suitcase.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I don't use, I literally am out of my suitcase.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
I'm just like shocked.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
I want to go into the room now. Can we
take these microphones to my room? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Because I do. You make your hotel a home.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
I have specific shirts and jerseys and my jean shorts.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
They're hung up. He's not lying. You hang the drawers?
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Because I was there when you were changing.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, you saw it. You can't have me placing those things.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Why do you do that? So that's how you were raised,
like putting stuff in the drawer.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
It's not even that. Well, not the drawer.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Like Alyssa does it, my fiance. So when I see
her do that, I started to do it.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
But I have, you say the F word?
Speaker 5 (06:20):
I was like, fascinating. Oh, I thought you were like... No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I was just like, fascinating.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
But I didn't want to interrupt you.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Casually dropped it.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
I have a couple of soccer jerseys that I brought.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Are hung up. And then I had this T-shirt hung up.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
You had your shorts and drawers. I had two pairs
of shorts, and that's hung up in the closet. And
then I got all my shoes in there because I
brought a couple pairs of shoes.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And then we have six total drawers, and I have
underwear and socks.
Speaker 8 (07:00):
What?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
I have shorts and underwear. Underwear, socks, I have shorts.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I then have more T-shirts because I brought about 30 T-shirts.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
For this four-day trip.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
And then I put my dirty clothes on the other
side in dirty clothes. Underwear and socks, dirty clothes, shorts
and pants, dirty clothes t-shirts.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
So that hotel is your home. You make it home.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Well, at Walt Disney World, everything feels like your home.
Speaker 8 (07:28):
You're right, but I've never gone out of town and
used the drawers. I literally just add a suitcase. Maybe
if I have something that I don't want wrinkled, I'll
hang it up. But I've never physically opened a hotel.
I don't even know they open it, so Katie put
a ring in it.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
What?
Speaker 4 (07:42):
You know, your ring?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
I'm going to be taking that. You know what's great, too,
is when it smells good. These are very good smelling,
like Disney. Although, I think that they have different smells
for different resorts, right?
Speaker 5 (07:55):
Yeah, they do.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
So, I love, love, love the smell of our hotel room.
You throw it in the dressers, like the drawers, they're
going to smell. Your clothes will smell like the hotel.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Smell like Disney.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
I know. I like that.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Jed's won't because he didn't get a drawer.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I don't care. Jed drawers.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
I did notice, though, what I thought was interesting. I
should have taken a picture. Was Jed will lay out
his clothes?
Speaker 8 (08:23):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Did you notice that.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
When you went in that he had clothes?
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Yeah. Lay it out the day before.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Jed not only lays out his clothes, but I thought
this was interesting. He puts his shoes on the bed.
So his clothes were laid out, and he lays them out.
He doesn't have them.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
I think it's awesome. He didn't have them folded.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Did you purposely lay it out like a body?
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Yeah. Like a chalk outline. So I can see how
it looks.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
But I was shocked you put your shoes on top
of your pants. Did you notice you did that, or
did you accidentally do it?
Speaker 4 (08:56):
I don't even... Yeah, I think I was just by happenstance.
That's kind of cool.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
I do pick out my clothes the day before.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
I do, too.
Speaker 9 (09:03):
I do, too.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I hate not having it ready. All right.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Well, hey, let's do this thing. Let's make this an
amazing day. Let's get you over to Walt Disney World.
Like I said, we've got annual passes, 640, 740, 840,
and 940 with the Joe Show Secret Sound.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
And.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Single day park hopper tickets nothing like a day at
walt disney world problem i have it planned for later
but i'm such a yenta i gotta figure it out
right now i'm a gossip i gotta know what the
hell happened with katie and jed do you have any
idea what she could be bringing.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Up Well, it's going to be something stupid I said yesterday. Oh,
something stupid you said. I thought you were going to
say something stupid. I wasn't going after summers. I would never. Hey,
radio business real quick. We're live.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
It's the Joe Show. We're on 93.3 FLZ. We're broadcasting live.
live from Walt Disney World. Katie, you had written down.
This is exactly what it says. Now, normally, like here,
I'll read you another one. It says, am I a
monster of a roomie? My fan, I toss and turn,
(10:16):
sleep with the TV on. She goes on. All this says,
in bold font, it says not bringing food for everyone
frowny face. I looked at Katie before the show and
I go, hey, can I get a little clarification on that? Like,
I don't know, you know, what are we going to
(10:37):
talk about?
Speaker 4 (10:39):
And she doesn't.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
All she says is, well, Jed. What did you do?
So I must now know what the hell he did.
Speaker 9 (10:49):
So, and I don't know if Ashley noticed this, but okay.
So Jed is an amazing chef. Like he grills, he smokes.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
It's so good. You like smoked some brisket or something.
And you brought Joe in like a little to-go container. Oh,
you did.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
You did.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
You milk prepped. He actually milk prepped. He milk prepped.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
It wasn't Whole30 friendly. I noticed you were bothered by it.
Speaker 9 (11:14):
Why?
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Did you see my face?
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Because I was in the kitchen heating it up, and
you're like, oh, what's that? And I go, that made
me food.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
And the moment I said it out loud, I'm like,
I don't want to lie, but maybe I should have
fibbed a little bit there and been like, yeah, I
made it.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
Well, hold on. Dot, dot, dot.
Speaker 9 (11:31):
When you were gone, Tommy Chuck comes into the break room,
our boss, with a container of Jed's delicious food.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
No way.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Here's the thing. And I was like, oh, my God,
did you make that? He goes, Jed brought it in
for me.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
I was like, what the heck?
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Okay, to be fair, though, when I was making it,
Tommy had messaged me on Instagram and said, that looks
really good. I hope you bring in leftovers tomorrow. I
think he was probably joking. But I kind of took
it serious. I'm like, you know what? I'll give some
for him. Katie, I'm sorry. I did not know.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
Did you not think she wanted some?
Speaker 4 (12:04):
No, I didn't.
Speaker 9 (12:04):
I just love Jeff's cooking so much. And I was like, dang,
twice in a row.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
I hope Tommy is listening right now, or boss Tommy,
because I know that's going to make him feel good
that he got it over Katie.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Katie, is it because you're a woman? No.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
You didn't even ask.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Because I think it's because Katie's a woman.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
He's like, she's in the kitchen anyway.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
No, but that was one of the things because, Joe,
when I gave it to you, it had steak and rice.
That's all it is. It's super plain.
Speaker 5 (12:37):
That's Whole30.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
No, not the rice. Rice is not Whole30. And I
don't know if some of the ingredients that I'm using
in it are Whole30.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
So you didn't want to be an enabler.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Thank you. That's a good way to put it.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
That's a good point considering what did we have yesterday?
Speaker 5 (12:52):
I know.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
I know. It's fine. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Do you, because at the same time, too, do you,
when Katie says this, do you go, okay, Mrs. Entitled, like,
what do you want me to do? I got to
make you food now?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Well, now I feel as though I have to go,
if I do decide, or if I do decide to make,
or when I decide to make, I really have to
do something balls to the wall. And I know it
has to be, and I might even do this out
of spite, Joe. I might make it a little stinky.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
What?
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Yeah, do you have a stinky food to reheat in
the oven? Don't bring in stinky meat.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
I think she's going to make it at the station.
We've got to smell it. You've got to smell it.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
We're already sharing a hotel room at Disney right now.
I have enough of stinky meat.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
I don't need some more stinky meat. Well, I'll tell
you what. I will do my buttered broccoli....
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Jamie is controlling everything back at the studio.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
Shout out to Jamie.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
When you call in today, you're going to hear from DMZ,
which we love DMZ so much. And I am curious
with Jamie being so close to the kitchen.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Jamie.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Now that you know that Jed's made me food, Tommy food,
does that now have you, or will you be checking
out of your studio for every time Jed walks by
the kitchen to see if he brought you in food?
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Oh, for sure. For sure, right?
Speaker 5 (14:18):
Remember the old building when he used to smoke meats
and whatnot?
Speaker 9 (14:22):
I remember they'd bring like a, I mean.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
I would bring like a 10 or 12 pound brisket.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Like a full tray.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
The only problem is then the trash pandas, and I
mean trash pandas, a.k.a. our coworkers. I was like, sales.
They wouldn't be able to.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
They wouldn't leave any. I like bringing home leftovers. Even
if it's the food that I'm bringing in, I kind
of want to have a little bit of leftovers.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
So, like, I'm okay with sharing it with the Joe
show and 93.3 staff.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
Just not the?
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Just not the trash pandas. Oh, I love that. But
you can't put on their FLZ only because then, you know.
Why not? They'll get all butt hurt. They put people... Because, Jed,
we're a team. Okay? A cohesive unit. The team, the team,
the team, Jed. We're a team. There's no I in team.
There's an I in win, okay? And we need to
(15:11):
do more of it.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
I do wonder what the whole, like, it is a
nice steak. It's got to cost them a lot of money.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Why not? No, I'm trying to help you. Son of
a bitch. By the way, that's why we have an agent.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
No, we need to say that it costs a lot
and then start charging people.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
That, that, that might be the move. Like, do we
have a, there's no way we have one. We could
easily be doing like a little side business. Now, of course,
I'm saying we because since I came up with the idea.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
You got to get a cut.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Got to.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
At least 5%. Okay.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
So we have you cook the food. We sell the food.
Maybe even put it in the fridge with like, you know,
like $ 5.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Okay. Okay.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
Yes, like an on-foot food truck.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
$ 5 fridge.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
That's it. The $ 5 fridge.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Are you going to see what's inside the $ 5 fridge?
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Now, with the $ 5 fridge, would you charge Katie or
would you give her at least.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
The first one? First one free. Free. First one free.
Complimentary on the house.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Let's print off my own coupons.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Buy one, get one. Then again, if I start doing this,
they're going to be like, uh-uh, that's too much fun.
No more cooking, Jed. No, they wouldn't do this. I
like this a lot.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
I think that this is something that we could really
work on. No more Jed giving food. It's Jed taking
your money.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
How much money you can make?
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Hear me out on this.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
We get a vending machine and then put the meats
in the vending machine.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Whoa. Vending machine with meats. We could do Jed's jerky. Oh.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
You have to chase it with coffee.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Ew.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
It's the Jed's poopy. Black only. All right. Let's move on.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
What's Your Sign is coming up next. Immediately after that,
you're going to Walt Disney World. We've got your annual passes.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
The Joe Show returns next.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
FLC.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Start your day with your morning reading.
Speaker 11 (17:23):
It's What's Your Sign on The Joe Show.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Hey, Ashley, what's my sign?
Speaker 8 (17:28):
Aries, communication will be key for you today. Taurus, be patient. Gemini,
you got to be open about how you feel. Cancer,
be smart and restrict your spending today. Leo, your intuition
is stronger than usual. Virgo, you got to stop overthinking. Libra,
treat yourself to something.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
Me time.
Speaker 8 (17:44):
Scorpio, let go of what no longer fits your life. Sagittarius,
you may want some alone time. Capricorn, focus on your finances. Aquarius,
you'll be extremely social today. And last but not least, Pisces,
you got to trust your intuition today.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Hey, go faster next time, Drew.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I'm trying to digest my waffle.
Speaker 5 (18:03):
Hey, Mickey Waffle.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
I at least have two minutes, right?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
No, I got 30 seconds.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
I'm going to put bacon in a cup. That's actually
a really good idea.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
All right, I got the waffles out of my teeth.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Good morning.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Happy Disney Day, day two. Broadcasting live from Walt Disney World.
Annual passes. We always love that.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
Annual passes.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
You'll be able to win that in six minutes. Happy
634 on this beautiful, beautiful Thursday. We've got a lot
on the way. Hansi co-workers. The Hansi co-worker with War
of the Roses.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
What would you do? You see your significant other?
Speaker 5 (18:50):
It's a solid breakfast here. Nobody blames you.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
I don't eat breakfast in the morning.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
You don't. You just drink coffee.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
I've been doing one meal a day for about two months.
And I've had about six meals a day for the
last week. I think my body hates me.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
But, you know what?
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I can't turn down bacon waffles and I love syrup.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Give me all the syrup. I'm a big syrup guy.
Speaker 8 (19:20):
Really?
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Yeah, I like condiments. I don't understand the people. 800-409-9393.
You ever meet someone who doesn't like condiments?
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
Kim Cusmano.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Kim Cusmano.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
That's crazy. But there are certain ones that are unacceptable.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
My nephew, too, does not like condiments.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
What do you mean, certain ones that are unacceptable? I'm sorry,
but I'm going to be very offended if you put
A1 on the steak. You had something caught in your throat?
Did you drink syrup?
Speaker 8 (19:41):
No.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
I was going to say, I'm going to be very
offended if I see you putting A1 on the steak
that I made.
Speaker 8 (19:47):
So I think we're talking things that have to have,
like fries. Some people don't want ketchup on their fries.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
Some people don't.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
I think mayo is unnecessary.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Remember Sherm Morgan that she transitioned? Well, she doesn't get
sauce on her pizza. It's just cheese and bread.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
She'll order a pizza.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
That's just a breadstick. Go order a pizza and be like, yo,
can I get a pizza? No sauce.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
We have a kid.
Speaker 8 (20:07):
What?
Speaker 5 (20:08):
Yeah, I was upset.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
That's a breadstick.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
No, it's not. I said the same thing.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
It's a cheesy breadstick. It's a cheese breadstick.
Speaker 8 (20:15):
It's a Texas toast. Every time she orders it, she goes,
I don't want sauce. I think it's the weirdest thing ever.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
Literally, when we had lunch with Kim, our co-worker, she's amazing,
she ate a dry salad.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
No salad dressing?
Speaker 4 (20:26):
I kind of like that.
Speaker 8 (20:28):
Ew!
Speaker 4 (20:29):
No, I do, because that's what has all the calories,
is the sauce and the dressing.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
All right, but buddy, and I love you, and you're ripped.
I think, well, I'm not even going to say it
out loud, but.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
You're ripped. Yeah, you are. You still eat, like, last night,
you had pretzels after dinner. We went, Katie missed it.
Speaker 5 (20:56):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
When Katie went and got a wine, Ashley and I
went and got a water. Jed got two ice cream sandwiches.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
And ate them in like 30 seconds.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
And ate them both before.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
We walked back to the hotel, which, mind you, was
all of 30 steps.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
Joe goes, can you slow down a little bit?
Speaker 1 (21:14):
So there are some times, like when you said that
sour cream, because I love sour cream in my Chipotle burritos.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Yeah, I don't put it on my Chipotle. And he goes,
if you have sour cream, that's a fat person.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
You did say that.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Sour cream is for fat people. Okay, I accidentally said it.
Which you are.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
I just think that that's not very, like I don't
say anything like that because... I do a lot of,
you know, unhealthy things with my food.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
You just hate the gimmick foods. That's the only thing
you hate on.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
I think that you go a little crazy with some food,
so you should be okay with a salad dressing of
all things.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
But sauces is where I feel like. It's covering a bed.
Like a good barbecue sauce with chicken fingers? You know
how they sell those things, the as-seen-on-TV ads, where you
put a hole in your drywall, and then you just
put the putty over it, and it's just one of
these cover-up things?
Speaker 10 (22:10):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
That's exactly what sauce is on meals.
Speaker 5 (22:12):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
No, I think sauce is like a fresh pear kick.
Speaker 9 (22:16):
Yeah, I was going to say, it elevates the flavor
of what you're having.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
Okay, name examples.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Buffalo wings.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (22:25):
Yeah, buffalo wings with ranch buffalo wings.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
With blue cheese.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Caesar salad with extra salad dressing.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
Don't you like to dip your pizza in ranch?
Speaker 4 (22:34):
A green goddess salad.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
Subsauce.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
Okay, I will say this.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Hold on, hold on.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
I'm listing off some great things. Subsauce from Publix.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Mayo on any sandwich.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Mustard.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Spicy mustard.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
How about when you get the jerk turkey sandwich from
Publix with that mustard they put on it.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Big Mac sauce.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Can't sleep on the Big Mac sauce.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
McDonald's. McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
A little ketchup with my fries.
Speaker 8 (23:11):
If y'all see Jed with sauce in his hand, anytime
you gotta smack it out of his hand.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
No sauce for you.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Thousand Island dressing on a Reuben.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
You don't put salsa on your Chipotle bowl?
Speaker 8 (23:23):
God.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Yes, I do.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Isn't salsa just like a Spanish condiment?
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Is salsa a condiment?
Speaker 8 (23:35):
It is.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
It's a dip. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
It's a dip, but dips are not condiments.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
Yeah, I'm putting cheese on my hot dog.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Yeah, but it's a dip.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
Chili dog. They're interchangeable.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Now, here's a question. Is cheese a condiment? Yes. Is
it melted? Can you guys say no?
Speaker 5 (23:55):
Why?
Speaker 8 (23:55):
No.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Is solid cheese a condiment?
Speaker 5 (23:58):
Oh, no.
Speaker 10 (23:59):
Right?
Speaker 5 (24:00):
No. Solid?
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Oh, no.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
I can't do the hypothetical if you guys say it.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
One more time.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
Hey, is cheese... No. Cheese. Solid cheese. Solid cheese. Is
that a condiment? Negative.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
Why are you even eating solid cheese?
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Is nacho cheese a cat?
Speaker 8 (24:15):
All right.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
That was the Radio God Saint move.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
He's turning loose.
Speaker 8 (24:22):
You want to eat a string cheese?
Speaker 4 (24:26):
String cheese? How about the cheese wheels? Oh, yeah, Baby Belle.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
I love those.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
Baby Belle with the cow. All right. I'm addicted to
blue cheese, though.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
Which could be kind of a condiment.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
It is.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
Take a little bit.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
I meant cash, Katie, but.
Blue cheese is a.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Condiment.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
All right, we play it twice. You guess it, you
win it. Walt Disney World Annual Passes. Jamie, who are
we going to talk to right now? Who are we
about to change their life? Luke!
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Luke!
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Sir luke let's uh let's get you these annual passes
you ready to play secret sound.
Speaker 7 (25:17):
I am ready sir all.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Right jamie go ahead and play it twice for me
all right luke what do you think it is what
is the joshua secret sound i think.
Speaker 7 (25:27):
It's a motorcycle trying to start up.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Is that correct.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
It is not darn.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I'm sorry luke Luke, we'll talk at 740, okay? I
love you guys.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Love you more. We love you. We'll talk to you later. Okay,
I got to give out a hint. You do. I
think I got to give out a hint.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Right now.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
All right.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
So yesterday, and if you go to our Instagram, at
live with Joe show, we were given hints. And yesterday,
we had posted a picture with a gentleman by the
name of Oogie Boogie.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
Oogie Boogie. How do you say it?
Speaker 5 (26:14):
Oogie Boogie.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
I was hoping you'd say it fun.
Speaker 5 (26:17):
Oh, Oogie Boogie.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Oogie Boogie. Oogie Boogie is the hint. Okay.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
If we don't get a winner at 740, I'll give
it another hint. That's hard.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Think about that. What is he?
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Think about the stitched-up knapsack.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
He's what? He's a bag of bugs. Oh, I thought
he was like a snot. I think he's just green
when he's coming out here just for flair.
Speaker 8 (26:49):
Got it.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
And then with the black lights around him, too. Sorry.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Matter of fact, actually, now that I think about it,
now that you say that, maybe there's levels to.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Oogie Boogie being the hint. Kind of. But, all right.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
You're looking at her like.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
She knows the answer. 7.40. 7.40.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Maybe Katie does. 7.40. Did I tell you guys this?
I guess I did. I don't know why I thought
I did. But, all right.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
7.40.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
800-409-9393.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
I am curious because I think anyone who golfs, I mean,
this is like your answer. Jed saw a freakout when
he was golfing, and what I want to talk about
with it is, though, is there something you do that just, like,
it's just going to frustrate you? Like, it doesn't matter.
You're going to be PO'd.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
But.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
You still do it.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
So even though it causes you frustration and anger, and
you just might be mad while you're in the act,
you still do it. Like, for example, if my fiancé
called and she'd say, baking cookies with me.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
But what would it be? What would it be for you?
Speaker 1 (28:07):
800-409-9393.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
You could text it at 97720. Is there something, like,
because Jed.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
We've golfed before, and we both have been throwing clubs
and swearing, and I say a lot of colorful four-letter
words when I do it.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
This guy, though, was ultimate crash out. Didn't even finish the,
I'm playing 18. He just hit a bad shot, and
he's like, you could hear him yell, F this.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Oh, God.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
And then he flung the golf club across the green,
went and picked it up, and then drove off. It
was legendary. But I've had so many things that have
crashed me out like that before. I mean, where do
I begin? I mean, Uber Eats. That's one thing. That's
the low-hanging fruit. It's something that frustrates me. I don't
(28:59):
know what it does, but it frustrates me.
Speaker 8 (29:00):
Do you guys ever have internal crash-outs? Where you're just
crashing out of your head.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
So like... Yeah, last night when Joe was trying to.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
Go to sleep. No, I don't know how Katie feels
about this.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
I have a consistent crash out of my head.
Speaker 8 (29:16):
When I go get a manicure or pedicure, I'm crashing
out of my head every time because I don't want
to be here. And I'm just like, can you please
hurry up? I don't want to talk to you, right?
But you actually like the person that does your nails. Granted,
it's not like I don't like this person. I just
don't like the act of going and doing it. So I'm, oh,
I'm crashing out of my head all the time.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
It's like beyond a chore, but you have to get
it done.
Speaker 9 (29:32):
So I literally have to put myself like an hour
past where I physically am.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
And I'm like, you're hurrying through it. And then I'm just.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Like, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
Yeah, an existential moment, if you will. I do a
lot of those.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Or when you're in a line to eat at a
specific establishment, but the person in front of you is
ordering to go. Oh, God. And they're doing like four
or five people. And you're just trying to sit there
because you want to eat in the restaurant and enjoy
your day. But you're stuck like 20, 30 minutes. That's
a valid crash out reason.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
Any sort of line.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
But you have to do it. It's something that you
have to do in order to get what you want
to eat.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
This is true.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Why is it that then like we golf?
Speaker 5 (30:16):
Right.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Because you chase. It's like pain and pleasure all at once.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
But like, you know.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
You hit that perfect shot. It keeps you coming back
for more.
Speaker 5 (30:26):
And you chase the dragon.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
The perfect shot only happens once. Around, yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:31):
Out of 18 rounds?
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Out of 18 holes. If I did 18 rounds in
a day, I wouldn't have a fiance.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
So out of 18 holes, you're only going.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
To get one?
Speaker 4 (30:42):
I'd crash out, too.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah, I mean, that's rare, too. For some reason, we
do it. I don't know why that is.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
I think it's just an excuse for the boys to
get up.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
You guys ever crash out together?
Speaker 4 (30:59):
Especially if you're playing Aaron Jacobson for money.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Oh, and speaking of Aaron, we'll go with people who
crash out on other people. Like complete strangers. It's a very, like,
when people are like, golf is relaxing.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
Yeah, I thought it was super relaxing.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
No, it's not relaxing at all.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Calm your spirit. Very therapeutic.
Speaker 9 (31:20):
I feel like guys just get all in their feelings
if you're not following the golf protocol.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
And it's like, It's not that deep. It's never that deep.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
No matter how angry you get, and it does make
you angry, but you're going to do it.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Jamie, who did you say is on the line? Oh. Ayo,
my man.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
Ayo, my man.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
And you're going to know what I'm talking about. Playing Fortnite.
You know you're going to crash out. You know you're
going to crash out. You know you're going to throw
that remote.
Speaker 12 (31:52):
You're going to rage quit because somebody got to that mat.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
It and you're absolutely correct. Think about how much I
talk about it all the time. I mean, any type
of video game for some reason, I'm telling you the
most terrifying thing ever is when my fiance is in
the same room as me as, as like Jules and
I are playing because it does kind of turn into
(32:17):
like the things that you're saying. Like that's why we
don't stream anymore. We used to stream on Twitch in
these games, but the, The words that come out of
your mouth. Alyssa Watson, she's like, are you okay? She
has literally been like, what is going.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
On out here?
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Who are you even talking to? Twelve-year-old Jacob. Some twelve-year-old
keeps calling me the N-word and I can't.
Speaker 4 (32:41):
Handle it anymore. No, it's very, very intense.
Speaker 12 (32:45):
Naomi is the number one crash out because she plays
more than I do.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
And she'd be like, I hate this effing game. I
hate this effing game. I don't even know why I
play it. And I'm like, chill out.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
It's just a game.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
It's the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat
all thrown into one experience. And you're going to do
it again and again. And that's what the thing is.
Speaker 12 (33:09):
And I'll do it again and again and again.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
And I think that's why I got high blood pressure.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
But maybe that is why we love it. Because you
get a full spectrum of emotions. Whether it's like the
golf or the Fortnite.
Speaker 10 (33:25):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Or the getting your nails done and you don't want
to talk to the person. Which, by the way, your
nail tech is now going, F this girl.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
I'm not getting hurt. Yeah. How dare she?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Maybe that is why we love it so much, because
you do kind of get a little bit of everything.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
It's the sweet, sweet victory.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
It's the highs and the lows.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
When you get that dub, though, it feels so amazing.
That's what it is all about, man. You lose some,
you win some. You're going to go back. It's a lesson.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
It's a lesson.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
It's a lesson. Yeah, nothing better than that. Interesting.
Speaker 12 (34:02):
Yeah, anyway, Joe, I'm going to hang up and keep listening, Joe.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
There's now a debate to be had. Is Ayo My
Man the best thing that Jules says, or is I'm
going to hang up and keep listening?
Speaker 4 (34:23):
I kind of love it. I kind of love it. Oh,
my God.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
All right, Katie, a lot on the way. We do
have Rose's handsy co-worker. What are you going to do?
Speaker 4 (34:36):
We had someone hit us up.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
You know, it's one of those things where when you're
at work and even the whole like, hey, this is
like my work husband, my work wife. Whenever I hear
that as well, it's like, okay, you guys are doing it.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
Oh, wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 8 (34:53):
We got called work wife yesterday and work husband.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
And we'll talk about that later in the show. But Ashley,
if someone says at some point, hey, is that your husband?
And they're saying it to me. And I love Sean.
Sean is one of my best friends. I love Rodina.
(35:17):
I'm so happy you found Love Jet. If either of
you say no as fast as Ashley did... I swear
to you, that's what's going to make me crash out.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
Stop it.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
It was so effective. It's like the guy's like, hey,
are you guys married?
Speaker 5 (35:33):
And it's like, no. I didn't say that fast.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
And what hurt, too, is my body was already trying
to get it out, but I go, yes. I did.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
I was like, yeah, that's my work husband.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
I was so hurt. All right, what's coming up with
the news?
Speaker 9 (35:53):
So another Tampa Bay apartment complex was struck by lightning,
resulting in a displaced resident.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Why is it that we're hearing more about, like, destructive lightning?
Speaker 13 (36:03):
I know.
Speaker 9 (36:03):
And Sidney Sweeney's latest ad. This campaign has a lot
of people talking.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
It's not Dr. Squash, is it? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
All that and more on the way. We're going to
pay the bills for just a.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
Second, okay?
Speaker 2 (36:18):

More next on 93.3 FLZ.
Speaker 11 (36:30):
This is iHeartRadio's WFLZ Tampa Bay.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
The Joe Show has all the news and info you need.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Top stories at the top of the hour with Katie Summers.
Speaker 9 (36:41):
It was a suspected lightning strike that sparked a fire
at the Authentics Suncoast Apartments in Brooksville. Firefighters quickly knocked
down the blaze, which damaged four units, displaced 34 residents. Thankfully,
no injuries were reported, and the complex management, they're helping
the displaced residents find shelter.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Is it just because, like, you.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Know, like, when I wanted a red car, I sort
of noticed every car in the road was red? Is
lightning more destructive lately? Or am I just noticing more headlines?
Speaker 8 (37:15):
This is the second one that we've, or third one
that we've heard of someone getting struck by lightning.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (37:19):
Two people died last week. And that's a Western Chapel
apartment complex.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 9 (37:23):
They're still looking into it. They're looking into it because
with the Wesley Chapel one, it's because of the fire detectors.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
That didn't go off. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a very
official way to describe it. But I don't know. I'll
keep you posted on this, though. That's why I don't
go outside now when it's thunder and lightning. I'm getting scared.
Katie was almost like, hey, you might want.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
To go in the house.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
Yes, when the thunder roars, you go indoors. Because I
don't play with thunder like that or lightning.
Speaker 9 (37:48):
So it was on CBS Mornings, Dolly Parton's sister, Stella Parton,
confirmed that the late country icon actually hid her cancer
diagnosis from most of her family members.
Speaker 5 (37:58):
Take a listen.
Speaker 10 (37:59):
Dolly did not want anybody to tell that because Dolly
could not bear negative things. And she would not have
wanted her fans worried about it. She didn't want a
lot of the family worried about it. Some of us knew,
the ones of us that were closer.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
That wasn't her?
Speaker 1 (38:18):
No.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
That was her sister. Don't they sound so similar?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
So similar.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
She's a takeover.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Yes. Does she look like Dolly?
Speaker 5 (38:27):
Call her Jolly.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
Jolly party.
Speaker 9 (38:32):
And finally, Sydney Sweeney. She is turning up the heat
thanks to her NoVig campaign.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
I'll be the judge of that.
Speaker 5 (38:38):
Wait, what?
Speaker 4 (38:39):
NoVig?
Speaker 5 (38:40):
NoVig. N-O-V-I-G. It's a sports betting app, trading app.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Oh, okay. Like Cal Sheer, predicted or whatever.
Speaker 5 (38:47):
Is she naked in it?
Speaker 4 (38:49):
Pretty much.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Sydney Sweeney collaborated.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 9 (38:53):
For the ad, and it showed her playing a series
of sports, but she doesn't have any clothes on.
Speaker 4 (38:59):
Oh, okay. Come on.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
The equipment is very strategically covering things up.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
You can't exit out of it without showing it.
Speaker 5 (39:06):
No, he wanted to see. No, he wanted to see.
He's going to save it.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
Marked his favorites. Oh, no, and then close out. I
didn't say, oh, no. I said, hello.
Speaker 5 (39:15):
Here, listen to this.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
No betting on wars or deaths and no politics.
Speaker 5 (39:23):
Just you. Your takes.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
On sports.
Speaker 5 (39:26):
On sports. On sports.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
On your takes.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
Yeah. Listen, cash that check on you, bud. Seriously, I'm
not mad at it.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
I'm in it to win it.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
What's that called again? He's already downloaded the app.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
Do you think Chumbo will have me recreate that?
Speaker 5 (39:44):
Hey, that would be cool.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
I'd pay to see that. You don't have to. You
already have. We're sharing a hotel room, remember?
Speaker 7 (39:52):
Oh, it's true.
Speaker 9 (39:54):
And you can get all Joe Show news and content
on our free iHeartRadio app, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
Just search The Joe Show. Make sure to like, subscribe,
and share.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
All right, I love this. I love this so much.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
We're live from Walt Disney World. Nothing better than being
live from Walt Disney World because you, you get to
go with us. I mean, you want to have annual passes?
Does annual passes sound good? Because that is what you
are able to win this morning. 740. If you missed it,
I did give out a hint. I did give out
(40:25):
a hint for the secret sound. You can check that
out on the podcast. We've got there. Search the Joe
Show on 93.3 FLZ. If we don't get a winner
at 740, I'll give out another hint. I want to
get a winner today. Let's make this thing happen. Along
with that, War of the Roses. Catching cheaters and proud
of it. It was crazy. Last week, Tuesday before I
(40:48):
went up for the funeral, we had 1.2 million streams.
1.2 million.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
On War of the Roses. I think that. I could
be wrong.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
1.2 is kind of a tough number to get to,
but can we get to 1.3? The Hansi coworker. We've
got that. I didn't really have an opinion on it,
but now everyone else has one, and I want to
have one. And we're live on 93.3 FLZ. It's the
Joe Show. I haven't cared about the Apple. Remember when
it used to be such a big deal when Apple
(41:21):
would have the press conferences and stuff like that?
Speaker 4 (41:24):
The keynotes, yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
And they'd be like, hey, introducing a phone where you
can touch it, and then you can go on the Internet,
and you can, I don't know, be horny online. You know,
we've got to watch now with camera. Listen, I... It's
been the same stuff for the last couple of years.
They just changed the iPhone color, and I'm a sucker,
(41:45):
so I always get it.
Speaker 4 (41:47):
Things are different now.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
And if you've got an Android, you probably already flip it, right?
Speaker 4 (41:55):
So the iPhone now flips and whatnot.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
And the only reason why we're talking about it is
it got brought up this morning before the show, and
everyone had such a strong opinion on it.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
Is it that big of a deal? It looks really–
I'm sorry, Joe. It looks really tacky. It's the iPhone Duo.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Ew.
Speaker 5 (42:14):
And– Looks like a pop pilot, right?
Speaker 4 (42:16):
And it starts off at $ 2, 000.
Speaker 5 (42:19):
Starts. Yeah, that's lame.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
All right.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
So just for the sake of the conversation, because I
won't be spending two grand on quite literally anything– Wouldn't
it be awesome to hang up on someone and slam
that phone shut?
Speaker 4 (42:33):
Theatrically.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
Just to, like, if Katie gets mad at her fiancé
and she's like... Yep. Clip.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
I'm done with you.
Speaker 5 (42:43):
Snap it shut. But I would immediately break it.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
So that's the problem.
Speaker 5 (42:47):
There's room for error. It's too big.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
Yeah, let's see. Checking out the highlights. Hold on.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
I just think that it's... Just get an iPad. It's
like the size of an iPad. A mini iPad. I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
I just... Why do you want your phone to fold?
Speaker 1 (43:04):
Because if I get mad at someone, I can click it.
I can go click.
Speaker 4 (43:09):
Wait, what?
Speaker 1 (43:09):
Like, if I could do that... And by the way,
I don't care about the features, so you don't have
to know that this is not some tech show.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
You can slam this down. You can't.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
No, you can't do that. Like, I want to be like,
you know.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
I'm trying not to swear because we're at Disney.
Speaker 8 (43:30):
Shut it down. I just think it's a waste of
money to upgrade. Again, it looks like a Palm Pilot.
It also looks like a mini iPad. Just a very,
very tiny iPad. And that's exactly what it is. Why
don't we just bring back the iPod? I might get
it just for music.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
You, bitch. That's how I can get around it. That's
how I can get around it. I'm not trying to
say you're a sucker, Joe.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
The watch is nice, I ain't gonna lie. The watches
are nice.
Speaker 4 (44:05):
Just by the marketing behind this. Ooh, a 50% larger display.
And I don't know if anyone else feels this way.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
In 800-493-93, we always want you to co-host the Joe
Show and all that. I'm a sucker for anything new.
The moment you tell me it's new, give me 12
of them.
Speaker 8 (44:26):
Dude, it was so bad in high school when I
wanted something new. If my best friend, the Navy, got
anything new, I'd call my mom. Hey, the Navy got
this new shirt. I got to get a new shirt.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
My friend Logan. My friend Logan McGill. He did all
the cool new stuff. All I wanted was something cool.
I wanted the razor. I remember the Envy.
Speaker 5 (44:44):
Yeah. Or the chocolate. I had the chocolate.
Speaker 4 (44:47):
I had the Envy orange. Orange Envy.
Speaker 5 (44:50):
You look at orange.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
And I wanted a new phone. My parents wanted to
get me one, so I broke it.
Speaker 4 (44:56):
I threw it to the ground.
Speaker 8 (44:57):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Threw it to the ground when I was at school.
I went back home. I showed my parents. I go,
I dropped it.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
And it blew up.
Speaker 1 (45:05):
And my dad said, you threw that.
Speaker 4 (45:07):
I know you did. You don't have a phone anymore.
Speaker 8 (45:10):
So, guys, when he comes into the studio with his
new phone on Monday, we know because he threw it
and he broke it.
Speaker 5 (45:15):
He just wanted a new one.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Got it.
Speaker 5 (45:17):
Thank you for telling us that story.
Speaker 6 (45:19):
Bitch.
Speaker 4 (45:20):
Oh, hang up on you.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
And if I could click it, I'd be down with it.
Speaker 5 (45:30):
Yeah, I do miss kind of hearing the click. I do.
You don't have that anymore. It's just there. Nothing.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
You just had the.
Speaker 5 (45:39):
I just, you know, it's a no for me.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
Which doesn't hit.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
What if they, I mean, since we're doing the whole
Foldy thing, what if they decide, like, hey, we're going
to give you a plug-in where you can plug in, like,
a real, like, handheld phone?
Speaker 5 (45:52):
They do have that.
Speaker 8 (45:53):
Huh?
Speaker 5 (45:53):
Like a rotary phone?
Speaker 8 (45:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (45:55):
Whoa, whoa, what? They do not have a rotary phone plug-in.
Speaker 5 (45:56):
Well, you can plug it in your phone, and you
can talk.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
I've been doing it.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
I'm going to get you one.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
I just like anything that I can show more of
my emotion.
Speaker 7 (46:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (46:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (46:05):
Uh-huh. When you're upset, when you're excited.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (46:08):
But, yeah, I don't think this is the phone for you,
because even the outside, it looks like glass, and, like,
you would throw it.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
It looks like you're about to pull out a Bible
for Bible study.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
It does.
Speaker 8 (46:18):
Can you imagine Joe opening his phone to check a
text message?
Speaker 5 (46:21):
I'm like, what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Now reading from St. Paul to the Corinthians.
Speaker 8 (46:25):
And you've got to use both hands.
Speaker 5 (46:26):
Do you want to use both hands on your phone?
Speaker 4 (46:28):
You don't want to use both hands.
Speaker 5 (46:29):
Yeah, you can't use both hands.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
I can't, yeah. Wait a second. There's only one thing
you can focus on. Two things at once.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
You guys want to talk about snoring or do you
guys want to talk about a creepy guy at a restaurant?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
What are we talking about with the snoring?
Speaker 5 (46:50):
You want to be attacked right now?
Speaker 4 (46:52):
I'll take it. I'll take my lashings. What do you
got for me, Joe? Okay, Jed and I are sharing
a room.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
I said this before, and I do have it.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
I don't know if.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
He'll be able to hear it, but this is Jed.
We are sharing a room as we're broadcasting live from
Walt Disney World.
Speaker 4 (47:12):
Also, think about how creepy this is. This man is
recording me in my sleep in the middle of the night.
Speaker 5 (47:16):
Hey, buddy, is it dark?
Speaker 4 (47:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (47:17):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (47:18):
Lights are off.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (47:19):
You can see my packer.
Speaker 5 (47:21):
Oh, jeez. Sounds like a lawnmower. A garbage disposal. Okay.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
And now, here's the deal. We had a really long
day yesterday. We were running around, doing a bunch of stuff,
ate good food, drank good drinks.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
So I get it.
Speaker 1 (47:48):
You're tired and you need to sleep. I just want
to know, 800-409-9393, you got a.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
Man who snores a lot?
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Because if you do, I would love to figure out
what the hell I can do tonight. Because I got
to get a good sleep tonight. But I also need
to make sure that Jed gets a good sleep.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Like, I can't.
Speaker 5 (48:09):
Yeah, you can't wake him up if he's snoring.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
It's just as much my room as it is his room.
Speaker 9 (48:16):
Gentle suggestions. I have found that works because, yes, my fiance, Sean,
is a snorer.
Speaker 5 (48:21):
He is?
Speaker 4 (48:22):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
And it will wake me up.
Speaker 9 (48:24):
So I'm like, do you need a pillow? Because I'm like,
if I prop him up. Like Weekend at Bernie's?
Speaker 4 (48:29):
Wait, you pop him up to keep him from snoring?
Speaker 1 (48:32):
I also love how it's a gentle suggestion, but you're like,
do you need a pillow?
Speaker 5 (48:37):
Yeah, do you need a pillow? And then he'll be like, oh, yeah.
And then you just put a pillow in there and
he'll start to sleep.
Speaker 4 (48:43):
Does a pillow work?
Speaker 9 (48:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
Why is that?
Speaker 9 (48:46):
Because what's causing you to snore most, it's your little
hangy down punching bag thing in the back of your throat.
Speaker 4 (48:50):
Your tonsils?
Speaker 5 (48:53):
Epiglottis?
Speaker 4 (48:54):
Oh, I thought it was your uvula.
Speaker 5 (48:56):
The little tangy downy thing? I thought, is he talking
about my vulva? You're talking about my vulva? Wait, what?
Speaker 1 (49:02):
No.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
You're talking about my vagina?
Speaker 5 (49:04):
Yeah, I was like, uh.
Speaker 4 (49:06):
All right, a little vagina talk? No, that's the labia.
Speaker 5 (49:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (49:09):
And I think it like covers your breathing hole, so
it's like going.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
Really? So you sit up basically like this.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
So many times you hear sound effects are like this.
spot on I'm worried about your health.
Speaker 6 (49:25):
Why?
Speaker 4 (49:25):
Well, you and my girlfriend both, which I guess is valid.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Because it is. It's kind of aggressive snoring.
Speaker 5 (49:31):
What is your girlfriend saying?
Speaker 4 (49:33):
Oh, she hates my snoring.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Have you thought about maybe doing a sleep apnea thing?
Speaker 4 (49:38):
I really don't. My dad has it. I wonder if
I have it at times, but I really don't want
to have to wear a freaking mask or put a
mouth guard in. Hey, Jasmine.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
Hi, Jasmine.
Speaker 1 (49:52):
Jasmine, I'm trying to deal with Jed's snoring as we're
sharing a room at Walt Disney World. Is there anything
I can do? Do you have a significant other who
snores a lot?
Speaker 7 (50:03):
No, so I was a significant other who used to
snore a lot. And my husband used to push me
to the side, not in a rude way, but kind
of roll me over to the side so that I
was snoring on the opposite side so he wouldn't have
to hear me as much.
Speaker 5 (50:18):
I think that's what I did last night with Joe.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Are you suggesting that I go over to his bed
and I gently roll him over?
Speaker 4 (50:25):
Yeah, probably.
Speaker 5 (50:26):
And then become a big spin.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
Yeah, probably. Hey, as long as I'm not awoken from
my slumber, I'm okay.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
I still cannot believe you're like, hey, you're snoring.
Speaker 5 (50:40):
Okay, was I wrong? No, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
I say, hey, Jed.
Speaker 9 (50:43):
Jed.
Speaker 5 (50:44):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Jed.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
Jed.
Speaker 4 (50:47):
Hey, Jed. And he goes, huh? You're snoring, buddy.
Speaker 1 (50:52):
Okay, I'm sorry. And then it fixed it. But I
don't want to wake him up this time.
Speaker 5 (50:57):
Yeah, because he's in a nice lumber. That's why he's snoring.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 5 (51:02):
It has to be. You're probably exhausted.
Speaker 4 (51:04):
Oh, yeah. Joe was the master of stepping yesterday. He
was at like 22,500 steps or something like that.
Speaker 5 (51:12):
Yeah, Joe said we couldn't take naps.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
Yeah. I did not say that. I did not say that.
You didn't say that we couldn't take naps, but you
definitely made it feel better. Yeah, I don't know about
you guys, but I was like, I'm not a nap
guy when we're at Disney.
Speaker 5 (51:29):
I know. You make us not be nap people.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
Go all the way to Orlando and hang out at
Disney and you're going to sleep. You can sleep at home.
Speaker 5 (51:36):
They have nice resorts. Oh, the beds are so comfortable.
Speaker 4 (51:38):
You can snore at home. Let me take a fat
nap in a hot shower and get a cup.
Speaker 5 (51:44):
And maybe he won't snore.
Speaker 1 (51:45):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (51:47):
We'll find out today.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
We're getting him one of those Darth Vader masks today,
is what we're going to get him.
Speaker 4 (51:52):
I'm going to have to stop and get some breathing strips.
That's what I'm going to see if it's going to
help tonight.
Speaker 1 (51:57):
We're going to have to figure out something. Maybe even
scotch tape could do it.
Speaker 5 (52:00):
What if he's like, hey, Jed, you just can't sleep
each day. I have no sleep for you.
Speaker 1 (52:05):
Well, I did think about it, because if I can
fall asleep, I'll just sleep through it. I thought about
being like, hey... Let me fall asleep first.
Speaker 5 (52:13):
Yeah, you come to the room in, like, an hour.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
Yeah, like, stay up. You know, the football game's on.
Watch the football game.
Speaker 13 (52:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (52:18):
You stay down now.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
Allow me to sleep. Because the other thing, too, because, like,
the noise and stuff, I don't know what it is.
Speaker 5 (52:26):
You need silence.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
I know. There are some things.
Speaker 5 (52:31):
He's crashing out in his head right now.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Well, because I want to, you know, I want to
say something.
Speaker 4 (52:38):
Here you go.
Speaker 5 (52:39):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (52:40):
Too many noises heightens me because I may be slightly autistic. Okay.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
So with that, you know, I am hearing him spit
into a cup and then he's, he's snoring, he's doing
all this.
Speaker 4 (52:54):
And then my body feels like it's going to jump out.
Speaker 6 (52:57):
I'm already getting overstimulated just hearing it. So then I'm like, well,
let's turn on the TV and then I'll be good.
Cause I'm not going to hear that. And then I
turn on the TV and then I go, Why did
I think noise was.
Speaker 4 (53:07):
Going to help me with my... I don't want the noise.
And then you got Jed commentary, too, which is not.
Speaker 5 (53:13):
Oh, I didn't think about that.
Speaker 4 (53:14):
Well, and he does. I'm telling you. After the snoring,
he did... He kind of... He goes... Are you sure
it wasn't flatulating? I don't know what you were doing. No,
you're making it with your mouth. You were going.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
Oh, my God. Was he doing this in his undies?
Speaker 4 (53:34):
Yes.
Speaker 10 (53:34):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
I was in board shorts.
Speaker 5 (53:36):
Board shorts?
Speaker 1 (53:37):
All right.
Speaker 5 (53:37):
That's what they call them now? Yeah.
Speaker 9 (53:40):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
He was in boy shorts.
Speaker 4 (53:41):
The cheeky kind. All right.
Speaker 5 (53:44):
All right.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
All right. It's... It's time to move on.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
I'm looking at the time right now, and I'm going, oh, God,
we're a little bit late. We're a little bit late.
Catching cheaters and proud of it. We do it every
Tuesday and Thursday. War of the Roses. Since I am late,
and I apologize about that, if you've got to get
into work, you're getting into class, whatever it may be,
I know you've got your AirPods on.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Yes, download our free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Stream us there. Stream us there. Stream us there.
Speaker 6 (54:25):
Period.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
And if, God forbid, you can't listen to it live,
we'll obviously get it podcasted the moment it's done.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
93.3 FLZ. War of the Roses on The Joe Show.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
Ashley, before we break down everything, and there's not too much.
Speaker 4 (54:43):
Well, first question.
Speaker 1 (54:44):
Was it one dinner that you noticed was happening? Or
have you noticed this whole handsy co-worker thing? all over
your boyfriend? Has this happened at multiple events?
Speaker 13 (54:59):
So, it was like on two separate occasions that I saw.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Yeah. Did you bring it up to him after the
first one? No.
Speaker 5 (55:10):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (55:14):
And do you know if they have a history? Have
they dated before in the past or.
Speaker 4 (55:20):
Have they hooked up?
Speaker 13 (55:25):
I don't think so. No, I think they were just
at work. I don't think there's any previous history.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
Like I said, it's not really too much. So let
me just run through it. If I say anything that's
not right, let me know and I can correct it.
But essentially what I have is you are concerned that
Carter's hooking up.
Speaker 4 (55:52):
With a specific co-worker.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
And you think it's her because she's just a little
bit too flirtatious with him. When you guys are out,
she's consistently, like, putting her hands on him.
Speaker 4 (56:07):
You brought it up. Yeah, or go ahead.
Speaker 13 (56:12):
The first time I saw it, I thought maybe that
was just, like, her.
Speaker 10 (56:16):
And then.
Speaker 13 (56:17):
The second time, I observed that he was the only
one that, like, she behaved like that with. So, that
nap really got me going.
Speaker 1 (56:30):
When you brought it up to him, he denied that
they'd done anything. But, and tell me if I'm wrong.
Just with his response, it made it almost seem like,
you know, oh, yeah, she's into me, but I'm not
into her.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
Yes.
Speaker 13 (56:52):
Yeah, he completely acknowledged what I saw. He said he's
noticed it, too.
Speaker 5 (56:57):
It makes him a little.
Speaker 13 (56:58):
Uncomfortable, but he was, like, completely dismissive of, like, there
being anything there. Yeah, that he wouldn't do that. But
he acknowledged, he was like, he agreed with me that
he's noticed it. That it's just him, that it's not
(57:19):
other people.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
So there's also another note where they seem to be
always next to each other when there's pictures taken at work,
all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (57:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:32):
I think we're ready to make that call. The last
thing that obviously... I think is probably worth mentioning because,
you know, if we hear this name, we know that
that's her. Her first name is Melanie. I mean, I
think that that's it. Ashley, I'm going to ask that
you mute your phone right now, okay?
Speaker 5 (57:49):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
And don't unmute your phone until I tell you to
do so. You might hear Melanie's name. You might hear
someone else's name. We just need to get as much
information out as possible before I get you back on.
So just stay on mute, okay?
Speaker 13 (58:04):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
Do you have all the information that you need? You're
all set? Okay, we're hoping that we don't hear that
Melanie name. All right, Jed just gave me that thumbs up,
so we have called Carter. Like I said, Melanie might
be the name he sends the flowers to, but we're
going to cross our fingers and hope he sends them
to Ashley.
Speaker 4 (58:25):
Ashley.
Speaker 5 (58:36):
Hi, is this Carter?
Speaker 13 (58:37):
Yes, let's see.
Speaker 5 (58:42):
Hi, Carter.
Speaker 8 (58:43):
My name is Kayla. I'm calling from Beautiful Blossoms. We
are a new flower store. And if you had a
moment for just a two question survey, I would love
to offer you a dozen long stem red roses for free.
Speaker 5 (58:54):
You help us out.
Speaker 13 (58:56):
Thank you, but that's fine.
Speaker 8 (58:58):
Carter, listen, it's completely free. I'm not going to ask
for any credit card information. I just need you to
answer two survey questions. And you can send these roses
to whoever you want.
Speaker 5 (59:07):
Can you help us out?
Speaker 4 (59:09):
Be real quick. I'm really good.
Speaker 5 (59:12):
Carter, listen, it will literally take two seconds.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
Two questions.
Speaker 5 (59:15):
Can you help us out, please?
Speaker 13 (59:19):
No, you say you don't need my credit card information
or anything?
Speaker 5 (59:21):
No, I don't need any of that. I'll just need
a first and last name of who you want to.
Speaker 4 (59:24):
Ship the roses to.
Speaker 7 (59:25):
I'm not going to be getting a.
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Bunch of messages about this.
Speaker 1 (59:27):
Nope.
Speaker 12 (59:27):
No scams.
Speaker 5 (59:28):
I do need to... Yeah, okay.
Speaker 8 (59:30):
I do need to let you know this call is
being recorded for quality and training purposes.
Speaker 5 (59:34):
Are you okay with that?
Speaker 8 (59:36):
Yeah, fine.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
Perfect.
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Okay, let's get into it.
Speaker 8 (59:39):
Have you purchased flowers in the last six months?
Speaker 4 (59:44):
No, I have not.
Speaker 5 (59:45):
Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?
Speaker 4 (59:50):
No, I don't have any plans to.
Speaker 8 (59:52):
Okay, those were the two survey questions I needed from you. Now,
I need a first and last name of who you
want to ship these roses to.
Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
Okay. You know, how about we send them to... Let's
do Melanie.
Speaker 5 (01:00:10):
Okay, Melanie.
Speaker 8 (01:00:13):
And with these roses, we are going to include a note.
So what would you like to say to Melanie when
she receives these roses?
Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (01:00:23):
Can you just put.
Speaker 13 (01:00:26):
Yeah, why don't you just put.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Excited for Thursday.
Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
Excited for Thursday.
Speaker 5 (01:00:38):
Okay. Do you want to put your name on these?
Or does she know that you guys have plans?
Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
I think. Okay. I think she'll know.
Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
All righty. I think I have all I need on
my end.
Speaker 8 (01:00:49):
Now I'm actually going to transfer you over to Ship
It and Handling, and they will gather the rest of
your information, okay?
Speaker 11 (01:00:55):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:00:57):
Hi, is this Carter? Yes, yes, yes. Hi, Carter. Carter,
my name is Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
First of all, thank you so much for taking the
time to complete the survey. We are going to send
these flowers out just to confirmation.
Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
A Melanie. Yes, yes. Melanie.
Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
I do see a note. It says excited for Thursday.
Speaker 4 (01:01:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Okay, so unfortunately we do have, we've been running into
some shipping delay issues and there's a potential that this
won't get to her by Thursday. Maybe I could help
you out. Do you want to put potentially like a
note that maybe would recap Thursday? Like what are you
(01:01:44):
guys doing on Thursday? Maybe I can help you with
a new note.
Speaker 4 (01:01:48):
Oh, um.
How about we just....
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
Like, are you guys going out on an anniversary dinner?
I'm assuming you're going out on a date, right?
Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
I wouldn't call it that. Oh, no? No, no, I
wouldn't call it that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
So just so you know, these are roses. They're a
romantic package. So is this someone that you're okay with
sending romantic flowers to?
Speaker 6 (01:02:28):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
No, that's fine. That's fine. She'll get the context, I think. Okay. Oh, okay. Oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Well, then we could keep the note generic. We'll send
something fine.
Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Yeah, it's going to be a reliable Thursday, I think.
Speaker 6 (01:02:53):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
Like, even if it doesn't make it, the next one
will be. Okay. Sort of a clockwork situation. All right.
Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Well, before I get that address, there is one question
I have on here, which is, does your company know
that you two are hooking up with each other? Is that, like,
against a policy or anything?
Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
Uh, yeah, no, it is, uh, it is against policy, but, uh, they,
so we, we, uh, you know, we're, we're a little
sacred on that.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Are you wondering how I know that you two work together?
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
Uh, yeah, actually.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
So Ashley told me that you two work.
Speaker 4 (01:03:42):
With each other.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Are you wondering how I know Ashley? Yeah. So Ashley's
on the phone with us too. It looks like Ashley's
concerns were correct and it looks like you and Melanie
(01:04:07):
are hooking up even though you told her it was
nothing to worry about.
Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
No response. They both hung up.
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
I'll call Ashley during the song or you, but.
Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
The Joe Show's Secret Sound. Alrighty then.
Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
Jamie, who are we going with?
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Hey, Kelsey.
Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
Hi, Kelsey. Hi.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
You think you know what the secret sound is?
Speaker 9 (01:04:56):
I mean, I'm going to try.
Speaker 13 (01:04:57):
I was a little thrown off by your Disney post, but.
I really want to do this for my three- and two-year-olds,
so it would be amazing if.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
I got it. Oh, my God. I love that so much.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
You and your family really could, I mean, God, just
make this next year the best ever annual passes could
be yours.
Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
This is what we're going to do. We're all going
to get quiet.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
We'll have Jamie play the sound twice, and then we'll
take your guess, and then when you get it right,
All these other radio stations are going to get really
mad at Ashley because she's going to be freaking.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
Out and yelling and going nuts. You ready to hear it?
Speaker 13 (01:05:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:05:35):
All right, Jamie, go ahead. Hey, what's the secret sound?
Is it digging? Digging is.
Speaker 5 (01:05:55):
Not.
Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
Oh, wait, hold on.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
It's not correct.
Speaker 4 (01:06:02):
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That's crazy. That's a horrible F
up on my end.
Speaker 5 (01:06:08):
It happens.
Speaker 4 (01:06:09):
You know what?
Speaker 5 (01:06:10):
Not that right time.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
And by the way, too, because I know that Jamie's
also in the studio clicking buttons and stuff like that.
That was 1 billion percent my fault. So I am
so sorry.
Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
I am so sorry. It's okay.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
Go back to the drawing board, okay? I am such
an idiot. I am so sorry. I am so sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:06:30):
We all have our moments.
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
What a horrible F up. All right.
Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
We love you. We will talk to you later. It
is now time for another hint?
Speaker 4 (01:06:39):
I think so.
Speaker 5 (01:06:40):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (01:06:41):
Yes, yes.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
So that first hint was we took a picture with
a Disney character named Oogie Boogie.
Speaker 4 (01:06:48):
Oogie Boogie. Oogie Boogie. And the hint was Oogie Boogie.
Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
So you can go look at what Oogie Boogie looks
like if you have no idea. And then think of
his makeup. Think of what he is, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
Look at him. Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
So that was hint number one. It is now time
for hint number two. Which is, as you win Walt
Disney World Annual Passes, You get to experience a lot.
A lot with the seasons, a lot with the holidays.
(01:07:33):
And there's something that you get to do at Mickey's
Not So Scary Halloween Party that would allow you to
make this sound. Maybe you have to go research what
you do at Mickey's Not So Scary that makes it
so special.
Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
I mean, there's a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
So I do feel like this is a broad enough
hint to where, you know, it's still tough. But think
Oogie Boogie. Think Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween.
Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Okay. Thank you, Joe. What could the sound be?
Speaker 5 (01:08:11):
Oh, I know what it is.
Speaker 4 (01:08:13):
We'll see if you do.
Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
840, your next shot to take a stab at it.
Joe shows secret sound.
Speaker 5 (01:08:21):
Yeah, I know what it is.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
That's what you think.
Speaker 12 (01:08:24):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:08:25):
Hey, shout out to Disney, by the way, too, because
they gave us a hotel room key card, and they
also gave us a park key card, and they gave
us a gift card. And when I say that they
gave us it, they physically gave us a physical copy
of it.
Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
And I just want to say, in 804-9393... Are you
down with the convenience of a digital gift card? Are
you down with the convenience of a digital room key card?
Or do you want the real thing? Maybe you've never
stayed at a hotel before, so you don't know what
I'm talking about. about how about a concert how about
a sporting event do you want the ticket or do
(01:09:07):
you just listen put it on my phone I'm good
with it because I will say this too though as
much as I love like getting the physical things If
I could get one of those IDs on my phone.
Speaker 5 (01:09:17):
No, Joe.
Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
Why? Some of the paper, wallpaper and art, though, digitally, actually,
is pretty cool. What happens if you find that? I
just mean the convenience of it. Oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
If I had just an ID on my phone, I'd
be happy. But everything else, like, I have every baseball
ticket I've ever had of any game until they ruined it.
The MLB does this. Oh, it's the worst.
Speaker 13 (01:09:41):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:09:41):
It is the worst application of all time. The MLB
ballpark app, genuinely, they might go into a lockout and
not play baseball next year.
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Get rid of the app.
Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Go into a lockout to get rid of the app.
That should be the only thing that they should be
meeting about.
Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
It's horrible.
Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
Because I want a physical copy.
Speaker 5 (01:10:00):
Me too. I like keeping my concert tickets. I do
that too. The concert tickets are amazing. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
Cute. Could I be the young, problematic Casey Kasem and
bring up an artist that some people don't like but
some people do?
Speaker 4 (01:10:13):
So I'm just going to bring him up. Kanye West.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
And we gave away a billion tickets to his show
that broke records. So Kanye's whole thing is with his
merch on the Life of Pablo tour, that was the
time when they stopped giving out the physical tickets, like
Live Nation and Ticketmaster and all them don't do the
real tickets. So that's why his T-shirt said general admissions.
(01:10:37):
That was your keepsake that you could take home as
a general admission T-shirt.
Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
Think about that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
But I like the physical. I get so excited when
we're at Disney and I have that physical thing.
Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
I have an annual pass.
Speaker 1 (01:10:51):
When you win this annual pass and you get the
annual pass, they send you an actual card.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
No, I'm a liar.
Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
You have to go to the park. You can keep
it on your phone. I have it on my phone.
When I double-click my phone, I have it.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
But you can....
Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
Oh, and I have it in the hotel room. But
they give you a physical annual pass.
Speaker 5 (01:11:11):
That's awesome. I like that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
It is the ultimate flex.
Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:11:14):
I will say this. When Joe first got his annual pass,
it was one of the funniest things ever because he
would put it on and he's like, hey, guess what
I got? And then he would actually pull out the card.
But having the card is sick. I would much rather
have the card or low-key, I wish hotels would go
back to the actual turning keys. You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
They had those?
Speaker 4 (01:11:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:11:31):
I did not know that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
Back in the day.
Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
They had a turning key? Like motels.
Speaker 4 (01:11:36):
Like, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:11:37):
Are you staying at Motel 6?
Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
How are you staying at? If you want love goo
on your pillow, that's when you know. If they give
you a real key, we messed up.
Speaker 4 (01:11:49):
I would love that. But do you like the physical thing?
Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
There's a battle between video games right now where PlayStation, Sony,
has gone all digital. Video games are just digital copies.
I talked to Jeff Liss, who's one of our favorites,
who got the Joe Show Roadshow going with the beautiful
camping world of Dover. He told me that he's not
playing any PlayStation games anymore because they've gone all digital.
Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
He's doing it out of principle.
Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
Meanwhile, Nintendo's coming out with a bunch of interactive stuff
that you plug into your Nintendo.
Speaker 4 (01:12:21):
That's smart. I don't think digital, if anything, there's no
footprint of anything that's left behind. How are we supposed
to know that we existed as humans if we only
did everything online?
Speaker 8 (01:12:33):
And how do you pass it along to a friend
or a family member?
Speaker 5 (01:12:37):
All of your concert tickets?
Speaker 8 (01:12:38):
Yeah, or like all my digital movies. Everything's on, you
stream it. You know those orange VHS tapes?
Speaker 5 (01:12:45):
I can't give it.
Speaker 8 (01:12:46):
To my parents.
Speaker 4 (01:12:46):
Remember the orange VHS tapes.
Speaker 8 (01:12:49):
Right, you can't pass that along. You can't pass your
games along. Unless you log in the account.
Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
When we were at Disney, they let it, when we
were at Disney, we are here.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
Are you going to talk about the Fortnite?
Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
I need, you know what they need here? What? They
need one thing. No, they need cold brew. They got coffee.
They got hot coffee. They need cold brew, though.
Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
I forgot what I was going to say. At the
Disney Animation, we toured this really cool thing. They had
a bunch of VHS tapes where Stitch was. He's rolling around.
I'll post a video. They had a bunch of VHS
tapes in there. We don't have that.
Speaker 8 (01:13:29):
I know.
Speaker 5 (01:13:30):
I think we need to go back to DVDs.
Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
The Mandalorian and Grogu. I don't have a physical copy.
Speaker 5 (01:13:35):
No way.
Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
I'm streaming that thing on Disney +, which is cool.
Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
I feel like people are... Don't we talk about DVD
sales are going up right now?
Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
Are they?
Speaker 9 (01:13:44):
Yes, because I think people don't really want to keep
paying for the streaming services and then to buy their
favorite movies or maybe have a little bit of both
and then if they take it off the streaming service then.
Speaker 4 (01:13:53):
You still have it.
Speaker 5 (01:13:54):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 6 (01:13:56):
For sure.
Speaker 5 (01:13:57):
A DVD player is probably like $ 1, 000 now. Back in
the day. I don't think it is. I think it's
like $ 69.
Speaker 9 (01:14:03):
99.
Speaker 5 (01:14:03):
Do you guys remember the disposable cameras?
Speaker 6 (01:14:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:14:05):
They're like between $ 40 to $ 100 now.
Speaker 4 (01:14:08):
The Kodak one?
Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:14:09):
Even if I want to just go get them done
at CVS? Oh, man, that hurts my soul.
Speaker 8 (01:14:13):
So I think the physical things are now becoming more
expensive because we want them more.
Speaker 5 (01:14:17):
They're like, no, we want to put it on digital.
But if you want it physical, oh, yeah. There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
And low-key, this is going to sound so strange.
Speaker 8 (01:14:23):
Huh?
Speaker 4 (01:14:26):
Huh? DVD players are $ 40 on Amazon.
Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
DVD players on Amazon being only $ 40?
Speaker 4 (01:14:34):
That's not bad.
Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
Does it have lines on it when you're watching it?
Speaker 5 (01:14:38):
What do you mean?
Speaker 4 (01:14:40):
Do you think they have that?
Speaker 5 (01:14:42):
Blu-ray, baby, remember that?
Speaker 4 (01:14:43):
Oh my god, yes. Love a Blu-ray moment. We fell hook, line,
and sinker for the Blu-ray for a hot minute.
Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
I don't even know what that means. What does Blu-ray mean?
Speaker 4 (01:14:53):
No one knows what it means. My PlayStation is Blu-ray.
Speaker 5 (01:14:56):
What does it mean?
Speaker 4 (01:14:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:14:58):
It just sounds good.
Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
Yeah, what the hell does Blu-ray mean?
Speaker 8 (01:15:02):
Don't you guys miss going to GameStop and getting games,
physical games?
Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:15:05):
And opening the package or a CD, opening the package,
looking at the thank you really.
Speaker 5 (01:15:09):
Thank you, Thomas.
Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
Dude, when you rip that plastic thing off.
Speaker 8 (01:15:11):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:15:12):
Oh, I'm going to eat that now.
Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Yeah, and you can't get it, so you're like picking
at the corner and you're picking at it.
Speaker 9 (01:15:18):
Stop it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
I'm going to cry like Katie at the animation thing.
Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
And then you get it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
You get a tiny bit and like just a tiny rip.
And you rip a tiny bit and then you're all.
PO'd and you're like, I gotta... By the way, can
I just say something? I have been censoring myself like crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:15:30):
You're doing great.
Speaker 4 (01:15:31):
Thank you. Prude Joe is doing great today.
Speaker 8 (01:15:34):
That's... I can actually smell the opening of a CD.
The rapper and all that.
Speaker 5 (01:15:40):
And you'd look at the book to see if the
lyrics were in there. Or the DVD player where sometimes
you can't open it. You can't open it. Good times.
We don't have physical things anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:15:50):
And all the retro games like the NES, the... Nintendo 64,
they're all going to make a comeback.
Speaker 8 (01:15:57):
What are you guys going to do when you don't
even need a system? You literally just need a television
and you'd like log in.
Speaker 4 (01:16:01):
They already have that. Oh, God.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
God.
Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
Is that Roku?
Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
They have that. And by the way, they did.
Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
Bring back the NES and the Nintendo 64 and all
of that, but it's digital.
Speaker 5 (01:16:15):
See, I'm annoyed, bro.
Speaker 4 (01:16:18):
I'm just saying, that's what they did. That's what they did.
We need physical.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
So shout out to Disney for getting physical.
Speaker 4 (01:16:25):
That's what we like. Katie, what's coming up with the news?
Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
So what you expect at this Sunday's Emmy Awards. I
came with the Emmys this weekend already. Presenters, some really
cool reunions.
Speaker 4 (01:16:37):
Okay. All right.
Speaker 5 (01:16:38):
Hold on.
Speaker 8 (01:16:38):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:16:39):
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (01:16:40):
I think I've realized an issue. I realized an issue.
This is me. I just want to say this because
now this makes sense. Once again, that was me mess up,
not a Jamie. I messed that up. Jamie's mouse looks
like my mouse. But it's not my mouse. So when
Jamie teed up, Olivia Rodrigo dropped dead.
Speaker 4 (01:17:02):
I thought I was playing it. Go ahead with your teaser.
And then... When you've been in a crash and your
mind's racing.
Speaker 3 (01:17:11):
When you've fallen in a store and are blaming yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
When you've been hurt at work and don't know what
to do. You know who to call. Farrah and Farrah.
Speaker 11 (01:17:21):
This is iHeartRadio's WSLZ Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
The Joe Show has all the news and info you need.
Top stories at the top of the hour with Katie Summers.
Speaker 9 (01:17:33):
So this is according to a new lawsuit, wrestling icon
and Tampa regular, I'm sure you've seen him somewhere around
the Tampa Bay area, Ric Flair claims that a digital
talent agency defrauded and duped him initially. into signing away
rights to his own image and likeness.
Speaker 5 (01:17:50):
His image and his likeness, you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
This is the most believable story of all time. If
anyone's going to do that, it's Ric Flair. If they said, hey,
there's a guy who did this, who do you think
it is? They wouldn't have to tell me Tampa. They
wouldn't have to tell me the WWE. You tell me
he's famous, I'm going to say Ric Flair for that one.
Speaker 8 (01:18:08):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:18:11):
Woo!
Speaker 4 (01:18:12):
That's right, that part.
Speaker 9 (01:18:13):
So it's a $ 10 million lawsuit claiming that, I don't
know if it's FAM or FAM Networks, they promised Ric
Flair a six-figure monthly revenue stream that allegedly never maternalized.
Speaker 4 (01:18:25):
Materialized. Maternalized.
Speaker 9 (01:18:27):
He said that he's going to go shut up. He
said he wants to, quote, bury this company.
Speaker 5 (01:18:34):
He's lost out on at least $ 250, 000 in revenue.
Speaker 4 (01:18:36):
Dang.
Speaker 9 (01:18:36):
Didn't he poop his pants at a restaurant or was
that a rumor?
Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
I'll look into that. Continue, Katie.
Speaker 5 (01:18:53):
It's Monday.
Speaker 9 (01:18:54):
This Monday is the 78th annual Emmy Awards. So the
show is continuing their trend of show reunions. So Kate Jackson,
Jacqueline Smith, and Cheryl Ladd of Charlie's Angels, they're going
to reunite celebrating the 50th anniversary of that show.
Speaker 5 (01:19:08):
So this is obviously going to make me cry.
Speaker 9 (01:19:10):
Dan Levy and Annie Murphy, they're going to do a
tribute to Schitt's Creek star, the late Catherine O'Hara.
Speaker 5 (01:19:16):
But then Macaulay Culkin is going to go on stage, too.
Is he? Yeah, from Home Alone Sun. Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 4 (01:19:23):
I was going to say Mr. Curry, but.
Tim Curry?
Speaker 5 (01:19:28):
I got the T.I.
Speaker 4 (01:19:28):
Home Alone. That's what I saw.
Speaker 5 (01:19:30):
What's the holiday movie you like? I'm sure they'll do
a tribute to T.I.
Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
The Family Stone? Family Stone?
Speaker 5 (01:19:34):
Is she in that? That's not the wife.
Speaker 4 (01:19:35):
No, that's Diane Keaton.
Speaker 5 (01:19:37):
I got to mix that.
Speaker 4 (01:19:38):
That's Diane Keaton. That was a couple years ago. You
got to stop being so serious. Oh, it gets me
every time.
Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
Damn.
Speaker 8 (01:19:45):
So good.
Speaker 10 (01:19:46):
Damn.
Speaker 9 (01:19:46):
Presenters include Zendaya, David Harbour, along with Sally Field, Amy Poehler,
Kiki Palmer, Mariska Hargitay.
Speaker 4 (01:19:53):
I was going to say, put some respect on my girl.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
I'm saving the best for last.
Speaker 4 (01:19:56):
Alaska. That's right.
Speaker 9 (01:19:58):
And finally, researchers at the University of California, Riverside, they
have renamed, I'm sorry, they have named 12 newly discovered
plant-feeding insects after Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (01:20:09):
I'm down with it. It's one of the folklore.
Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
It's called a Swiftie Phyllis. And then they're just calling
it the Swiftie.
Speaker 9 (01:20:17):
They also have other species carrying the Taylor Swift coded name.
Speaker 5 (01:20:21):
Taylor, lover. She probably actually hates it. Fearless poets.
Speaker 9 (01:20:24):
So they named the bugs after her because I guess
they look like her.
Speaker 7 (01:20:28):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:20:28):
She's suing them. I was like, they better get ready
for her mom.
Speaker 9 (01:20:32):
They said they have Taylor Swift's iconic blonde hair and
red lips.
Speaker 5 (01:20:35):
Yeah, no, I would not. Don't ever compare me to
an insect. What kind of bug is that?
Speaker 4 (01:20:39):
What would you do if a bug pulled up looking
like that?
Speaker 5 (01:20:43):
What would you.
Speaker 1 (01:20:45):
Do if you hit a bug, your windshield splatters, and
it's like lipstick and eyeliner?
Speaker 8 (01:20:52):
Don't say that, because I had a lot of bugs
on the way here.
Speaker 5 (01:20:54):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 4 (01:20:56):
And I don't have washer fluid right now. Oh, that's right.
You're down bad. I'm down bad.
Speaker 9 (01:21:04):

Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you, thank you.
What the hell day is it?
Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
It's Thursday.
Speaker 4 (01:21:25):
Come on.
Speaker 5 (01:21:26):
We need to.
Speaker 4 (01:21:27):
Get your cold brew, buddy. We can fight through. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
Broadcasting live from Walt Disney World. 840 annual passes.
Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
You'll win those. Commercial free on 93.3 FLZ. Hold on.
Speaker 5 (01:21:41):
Did you burp?
Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
No, I got a little something in my throat. Speaking of,
Jed was... Sucking it to the bone yesterday, bro. What?
Speaker 5 (01:21:50):
Yeah, he was. Speaking of.
Speaker 4 (01:21:52):
Wait, what? Sucking that thing to the bone. What, at dinner?
Speaker 5 (01:21:55):
Yeah, you made me uncomfortable.
Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
Why?
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
You know, I don't like wing eaters like this. 804
on day 9393. You eating your wings like an animal?
Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
Like a straight savage.
Speaker 4 (01:22:10):
I love sucking wings.
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
I'm convinced if you could, you would eat the bone.
If it was edible, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (01:22:16):
Ew. If I didn't have to worry about getting, like,
because it splinters.
Speaker 9 (01:22:20):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:22:21):
I don't like it.
Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:22:22):
Why? I don't like the way you eat the wings.
Speaker 5 (01:22:24):
Why?
Speaker 4 (01:22:25):
It's gross. What?
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
I hope you don't do it around Rodina, your girlfriend.
Speaker 8 (01:22:29):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
This is why boneless wings are superior, which also shout
out to Ashley.
Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
I know. They were fire.
Speaker 5 (01:22:36):
They were fire. I know.
Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
That was disgraceful.
Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
I was a child. I felt like I was 12.
Speaker 4 (01:22:42):
I was really disappointed. I wasn't mad, Ashley. I was disappointed.
Speaker 1 (01:22:45):
But the way you eat it, the way you eat
it is crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:22:49):
No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Also, we've done the whole, you know, a guy shouldn't
when it rains too hard. There's a specific speed you
put your windshield wipers at.
Speaker 4 (01:22:59):
A guy can't go full speed.
Speaker 5 (01:23:01):
You have to go full speed.
Speaker 4 (01:23:01):
A guy, no.
Speaker 1 (01:23:03):
I'm telling you, a guy can't use a turn signal
because you can't let another man know where you're going.
Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
A guy can't eat a bone or eat the wing
the way Jed does.
Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
You want to talk about what a guy can't do?
What I told you yesterday?
Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
What else?
Speaker 5 (01:23:16):
With the Uber?
Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:23:19):
Ashley brought this up. And you know what? I had
to think about this.
Speaker 5 (01:23:21):
What is this?
Speaker 4 (01:23:22):
It's a lie. And I think she's on to something.
But a straight man... Hold on.
Speaker 5 (01:23:28):
He can't even get it out.
Speaker 4 (01:23:29):
What are you trying to tell us about a straight man? Well,
Ashley said... She said, hey.
Speaker 5 (01:23:35):
And this is all because I saw it coming outside
of my apartment.
Speaker 4 (01:23:37):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
She said, should a guy get into an Uber?
Speaker 5 (01:23:42):
Backseat.
Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
The backseat of an Uber with a guy driving. And
I thought about it.
Speaker 5 (01:23:49):
What were they supposed to say?
Speaker 1 (01:23:50):
Yeah, I don't think that a man should call an Uber.
Speaker 6 (01:23:52):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:23:53):
Yeah, another man should be driving.
Speaker 1 (01:23:55):
You're really going to let another guy drive you?
Speaker 4 (01:24:00):
You and your girl?
Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
It's kind of a flex.
Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
No, it's not.
Speaker 8 (01:24:04):
He's driving a, I don't know, a Pontiac or a Kia.
Speaker 5 (01:24:08):
A Kia Sorento. A Kia Soul.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
There's nothing wrong with those cars.
Speaker 5 (01:24:12):
I love a Kia. I love a Kia, too.
Speaker 4 (01:24:15):
Actually, I'll say this. Guys should not be driving a
Kia Soul.
Speaker 8 (01:24:18):
It was very feminine for him to just get in
the car and hop in and get on his phone.
I was just like, oh, I didn't realize how much
of an ick that was for me.
Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
Let me ask you a question with this then, because
we wear baseball jerseys and all that. Can a guy
wear another guy's name on his back?
Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
It depends on the situation. If you're going to the event,
like a sporting event, sure.
Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
Sure. Because I hit a weird point, and my brother's
a senior in college, so he brought it up to me, too.
He's like, hey, you know, players are getting younger than me. Like,
players are younger than me now. And I was wearing
a jersey of a player that was younger than me.
Speaker 4 (01:24:59):
I'm 30.
Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
And it made me go, ah, shoot. Like, I don't
think I can do this anymore. Like, I don't think
a guy should wear another guy's name on his back.
You want to wear Michael Jordan?
Speaker 4 (01:25:13):
That's okay.
Speaker 8 (01:25:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:25:14):
Goats.
Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
You got to only wear goats.
Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
But you want to wear a Chandler Simpson jersey?
Speaker 4 (01:25:21):
You can't do that.
Speaker 5 (01:25:22):
He's too young.
Speaker 4 (01:25:23):
But he's great. He's great. He's great. There's no denying
he's great. But a guy can't wear a guy. You
know what I mean? I'm going to buy a Chandler
Simpson jersey out of spite of you. I bet you
will when you suck on that wing. There is nothing
wrong with getting... You realize that I am getting full
dollar value by sucking on those wings.
Speaker 5 (01:25:43):
You eat it to the grizzle. I do.
Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
You don't like the little cartilage?
Speaker 5 (01:25:46):
I love that. Can you say cartilage?
Speaker 4 (01:25:48):
Yeah, the little... You can't leave any meat on the bone.
Speaker 5 (01:25:51):
Are you like that too? I mean, I'm not going
to eat the little tendons and stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:25:54):
Oh, I love the tendons.
Speaker 5 (01:25:55):
But I like all this skin.
Speaker 9 (01:25:57):
That's the best part.
Speaker 5 (01:25:58):
That's where all the sauce is.
Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
That is so disgusting.
Speaker 5 (01:26:01):
You guys had boneless wings.
Speaker 1 (01:26:03):
And we were part of the clean plate club.
Speaker 4 (01:26:07):
There's nothing like eating those wings.
Speaker 5 (01:26:10):
You cleaned your plate. You cleaned the wings. You cleaned everything.
Speaker 1 (01:26:15):
Hey, can a guy eat celery? No. Can a guy
eat something with no nutrition?
Speaker 9 (01:26:21):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:26:21):
Can a guy? I don't know. Celery does that. You
lose calories while eating it. I don't know. I don't
know if a guy can do that.
Speaker 5 (01:26:26):
It cleanses your palate. I don't know if I want
you to cleanse your palate.
Speaker 4 (01:26:29):
Can a guy sit the way I'm sitting right now?
Speaker 1 (01:26:32):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:26:32):
I do. If I can't, then you can take my manhood.
Speaker 5 (01:26:35):
If those shorts were a little bit short, guys can't
wear those either, Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
Yeah, what do you think about the short shorts?
Speaker 4 (01:26:42):
Can a guy wear... Oh, God, I do not want
to stand up right now.
Speaker 5 (01:26:45):
Yeah, because Jen loves the short shorts.
Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
And as we do all of this, because one dummy
is going to be listening and going, Oh, my God,
they're disgusting.
Speaker 4 (01:26:54):
They're bigots. How dare they say this?
Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
Obviously, I'm being very serious. What sucks is that now
I go into Publix and I grabbed a cart one time.
Speaker 4 (01:27:05):
Because I don't think a guy can push a cart
in a grocery store.
Speaker 1 (01:27:10):
I did and immediately got called out for it by
your fiancée. No, I'm saying someone at Publix was like,
you literally just spent 10 minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
Talking about how they can't do that. Okay, so then, Joe,
what do you think about men who bring in the
shopping baskets? Yeah, no. What are you, Dorothy? You can't
do that.
Speaker 5 (01:27:31):
Or guys who bring in their reusable bags. It's like, whoa.
Speaker 1 (01:27:35):
Be a man and realize you can't grab all your
groceries and then you leave the grocery store with not
as much and you're mad and frustrated. Can a guy,
if we can't get in an Uber, can a guy
have another man bring him food?
Speaker 4 (01:27:51):
I'm conflicted on that as well. Now, if it's a woman,
can you bring a man food?
Speaker 5 (01:27:58):
Except man food.
Speaker 9 (01:28:00):
Yeah, could you imagine that Uber request? Like, I only
need women to bring me food.
Speaker 4 (01:28:05):
Right, that's not creepy. Have you seen the women-only Ubers?
Speaker 5 (01:28:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Which, by the way, isn't that just an invitation for
a pervert?
Speaker 5 (01:28:13):
I think it's girl to girl. Yeah, it's girl. Women
supporting women.
Speaker 4 (01:28:17):
Then why does it give me the option?
Speaker 5 (01:28:19):
No, you can't do that.
Speaker 4 (01:28:21):
Hey, that's all. That's women supporting women, but when I
want a woman to deliver food to me, that's all.
You're so wrong. I can do it.
Speaker 5 (01:28:30):
Watch.
Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
Where are we going to go?
Speaker 9 (01:28:33):
That's if you're ordering an Uber for someone else.
Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
Watch this.
Speaker 5 (01:28:37):
That says Joe is a woman.
Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
Women drivers.
Speaker 5 (01:28:40):
Joe's a woman. Women drivers.
Speaker 8 (01:28:41):
Right.
Speaker 5 (01:28:42):
By women for women. Joe, do you not identify as
a woman?
Speaker 4 (01:28:46):
Choose women drivers it would.
Speaker 9 (01:28:47):
Let me do that so if you were calling your
fiancee Alyssa an Uber you could.
Speaker 4 (01:28:53):
Do women women I'm just saying but.
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
If you got in there they'd drive off this looks like.
Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
Danger she'd see you and drive off that is dangerous
I agree with Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
But she'd see you and drive off who's on the
phone right now Jamie sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:29:09):
Oh, I love Daryl.
Speaker 1 (01:29:12):
Daryl, please don't say you eat your wings like Jed does.
Speaker 5 (01:29:16):
No, I do not, bro.
Speaker 13 (01:29:17):
I was just wondering, you're talking about an Uber driver.
Speaker 5 (01:29:19):
What are you supposed to do if you're in a limo?
Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Are you supposed to jump in the front with the
limo driver?
Speaker 5 (01:29:23):
That's different. It's black tie.
Speaker 4 (01:29:25):
No, limos are sick. Yeah, he's got the hat on. No, no, no.
Speaker 6 (01:29:28):
No, no, no.
Speaker 8 (01:29:28):
No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (01:29:29):
No, no, no. No, no, no.
Speaker 10 (01:29:30):
No, no, no. No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (01:29:41):
No, it's not the same experience. Even if you ordered
the Uber Block XL, it's not the same as having
a limousine.
Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
And you might get in the car and it smells
like cigarettes.
Speaker 4 (01:29:48):
Right.
Speaker 9 (01:29:50):
Come on, y'all.
Speaker 4 (01:29:51):
You're doing the same thing. You're paying for an Uber Drive,
you're paying for a limo. It's the same thing.
Speaker 5 (01:29:57):
Different quality.
Speaker 4 (01:29:58):
I would say limos are way more expensive, too.
Speaker 5 (01:30:01):
They don't even exist anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:30:03):
I can't tell.
Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
You the last time I saw a limo, but they
are inherently awesome.
Speaker 4 (01:30:08):
Bring him back.
Speaker 7 (01:30:08):
Ain't it the same thing?
Speaker 4 (01:30:09):
Joe, what you going to do?
Speaker 9 (01:30:10):
You going to jump in front.
Speaker 4 (01:30:13):
Of the limo driver?
Speaker 8 (01:30:14):
No.
Speaker 1 (01:30:14):
A limo is so different than getting back into some guy's...
Are you.
Speaker 13 (01:30:19):
Paying for the same thing, Joe?
Speaker 5 (01:30:21):
No, you're not. They got champagne in the limo.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
If I call an Uber and it's a dude in
a Subaru, if it's not one of Ashley's girlfriends, I'm
not getting in.
Speaker 4 (01:30:34):
Love you, Daryl. Love you, Daryl. Hey, bye.
Speaker 8 (01:30:38):
Yeah, that's a different experience, that limo and the car.
Speaker 4 (01:30:44):
Can't compare.
Speaker 5 (01:30:44):
Can't compare the two. Absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (01:30:46):
I miss the Hummer limos. Those were so electric.
Speaker 1 (01:30:51):
I know a guy can cut his toenails, but can
a guy trim his toenails?
Speaker 5 (01:30:58):
Yeah, that's acceptable. I'll give you that. I'll give you that. Yeah,
I'll give you that. I will give you that.
Speaker 4 (01:31:04):
Can you file your nails?
Speaker 8 (01:31:05):
That's kind of... That's where I draw the line.
Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
I have a nail file in the studio for you guys.
Joe asked for one the other day, not too long ago.
Speaker 4 (01:31:14):
Can a man wax his brows?
Speaker 5 (01:31:17):
Yeah. You need them waxed, huh?
Speaker 4 (01:31:21):
Yeah, I'm starting to look like Quasimodo.
Speaker 5 (01:31:28):
Are you right over there?
Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
Yeah. You're trying to think.
Speaker 8 (01:31:31):
He's thinking too much.
Speaker 4 (01:31:34):
You're overthinking. Never mind. Never mind. Yeah, never mind. Can
a man.
Speaker 5 (01:31:43):
Never mind.
Speaker 6 (01:31:43):
Say it.
Speaker 4 (01:31:43):
I want to hear it.
Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:31:45):
Can a man wear a woman's underwear?
Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
No.
Speaker 9 (01:31:47):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:31:48):
This is the problem. Never mind.
Speaker 1 (01:31:52):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (01:31:53):
Can a man look at another man when he cuts
his hair? Do you close your eyes when you get
your hair cut?
Speaker 5 (01:31:57):
100%. I think that's... Because you've got to be like this?
Speaker 4 (01:32:02):
Yeah. Is it weird?
Speaker 5 (01:32:04):
Do you feel him breathing on you? Kyle, my... They
do get close. I never realized that.
Speaker 4 (01:32:10):
To be honest, I kind of love it.
Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
Really?
Speaker 4 (01:32:12):
Yeah, I wish Kyle would wash my hair, too.
Speaker 5 (01:32:14):
I think you should get your hair washed by your barber.
Speaker 1 (01:32:15):
Just a little, like, nice little head rub.
Speaker 5 (01:32:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:32:20):
By the way, that's just bro stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:32:21):
Yeah, bro taking care of bro. Dude, bro.
Speaker 4 (01:32:23):
Like, hey, you want to rub my head, bro?
Speaker 5 (01:32:26):
My friends rub my hair all the time. I love
a good scalp rub.
Speaker 4 (01:32:29):
Moisturizer. Yeah, you just.
Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
Want to kind of like rub my eyebrows real quick.
Speaker 4 (01:32:37):
Touch my mustache.
Speaker 5 (01:32:38):
Jed seems like he keeps his eyes open when he
gets his cut.
Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
You should see how close he gets to my mustache
when he turns it.
Speaker 4 (01:32:46):
Oh, yeah. Something about a relationship between a man and
his barber.
Speaker 5 (01:32:51):
Oh, yeah. Solid relationship, for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:32:53):
I know Kyle's listening right now. I'm thinking about Kyle.
I'm touching my head. I'm going to see him on Saturday.
I can't wait.
Speaker 4 (01:33:00):
Anyways, don't push a cart. That's the... I still stand
by it.
Speaker 5 (01:33:04):
I just want you guys to appreciate that I didn't
take it far. You held back. I'm very proud of you.
Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
We're going to pause to bring the carpenter.
Speaker 5 (01:33:14):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:33:15):
No, we're not. Actually, never mind. You know what? We're
going to... Play this song and get ready for it.
Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
93.3 FLZ. The Joe Show's Secret Sound.
Speaker 4 (01:33:25):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
We play it twice, you guess it once, and the
first person to tell me what it is and obviously
be correct. I mean, we've had a lot of people
tell me what it is, but they ain't been right.
First person to do so correctly goes to Walt Disney
World for a full entire year. These are annual passes. Jamie,
who are you picking up?
Speaker 4 (01:33:48):
Hi, Danielle.
Speaker 3 (01:33:51):
Hey, how you guys doing?
Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
Danielle, I'm great. You know, we're live at Walt Disney World,
which is always fun. I'm not as good as you, though,
in 20 seconds, because in 20 seconds, I think that
we're going to be freaking out and giving away these tickets. Jamie,
play this sound twice, and then we'll hear from Danielle.
Speaker 4 (01:34:16):
All right.
Speaker 6 (01:34:17):
Danielle.
Speaker 4 (01:34:17):
Danielle.
Speaker 1 (01:34:19):
What is the Joe Show secret sound?
Speaker 4 (01:34:24):
I have been dealing with my son trying to figure
this out, and we both come to the conclusion that
it's a bag of candy being dumped.
Speaker 5 (01:34:36):
That is correct. Danielle, congratulations.
Speaker 4 (01:34:42):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:34:43):
Oh, my God. That was great. That was great.
Speaker 4 (01:34:46):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 5 (01:34:46):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 8 (01:34:48):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 4 (01:34:52):
Danielle. I'm going to cry.
Speaker 5 (01:34:54):
I'm going to cry.
Speaker 1 (01:34:56):
Well, let Danielle cry because we're going to use this
in the promo and play it and then send it
to Walt Disney World and get more tickets. Oh, my God.
Speaker 4 (01:35:05):
I can't believe this. Oh, my God. I can't sleep
because it works overnight and I can't wake up.
Speaker 8 (01:35:13):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
Danielle, I'm so happy for you. I'm so excited for you.
And this right here, this moment right here is exactly
why every year I get most excited to be able
to do this. So thank you for being a part
of the family. I love when you call in. I
love that you're the one that won. You and your
family are genuinely someone who has an annual pass, and
(01:35:39):
it was a lifelong thing to have as a kid.
You're just going to have the best year ever. So congratulations.
Speaker 7 (01:35:48):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 13 (01:35:48):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:35:49):
I can't believe this.
Speaker 4 (01:35:52):
Hey, do me a favor, too.
Speaker 1 (01:35:53):
Make sure when you tell them, film it and tag
us on social media so we can post.
Speaker 4 (01:35:59):
It, okay?
Speaker 5 (01:36:01):
I will definitely do that.
Speaker 8 (01:36:02):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (01:36:02):
You guys are the best.
Speaker 5 (01:36:03):
I love all four of you and Jamie and everybody else. Oh,
my God.
Speaker 9 (01:36:08):
You guys are just incredible. And I'm shaking.
Speaker 5 (01:36:10):
I can't stop shaking. We love you more.
Speaker 1 (01:36:13):
Jamie, by the way, is going to sleep very good tonight. Jamie,
you got a shout-out.
Speaker 4 (01:36:19):
Isn't that nice? I'm warm and tingly inside. Danielle, you
made Jamie tingly. So congratulations. Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:36:28):
Oh, my.
Speaker 9 (01:36:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:36:30):
Danielle, I'm going to put you on hold.
Speaker 1 (01:36:32):
You're going to talk to DMZ, who DMZ is not
only the best DJ, but also he is the best
when it comes to tickets.
Speaker 9 (01:36:40):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:36:41):
And by the way, the moment I said that out loud,
I realized what I said. He is the best DJ half.
There are two best DJs. Jamie is the other best DJ.
And as I say that out loud, I realize this
will be sent to Drew. They are one third of
the best DJs. And as I say this, I realize
Berlander listens to the show every day. They're one fourth
(01:37:02):
of the best DJs. And Chisholm doesn't listen to the show.
Speaker 7 (01:37:07):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:37:08):
Congratulations. We're so, so, so happy for you. Say hi
to DMZ for us.
Speaker 4 (01:37:13):
Look at that.
Speaker 5 (01:37:15):
That was so fun. I love giving away Disney.
Speaker 1 (01:37:18):
By the way, Jules was convinced it was a bag
of chips.
Speaker 8 (01:37:22):
Wrong.
Speaker 4 (01:37:24):
Wrong, wrong.
Speaker 11 (01:37:27):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
War of the Roses is on the way. We have almost,
almost 550,000 streams right now in War of the Roses. 550,000.
We had 1.2 million on last week's roses, so we'll
see if we can reach a milli again. And thank
you to all who make us one of the most
(01:37:48):
listened to podcasts in the country. Definitely the most listened
to in Tampa Bay. So look at that. That's a
humble brag.
Speaker 4 (01:37:59):
Moving on.
Speaker 5 (01:37:59):
800-409-9393.
Speaker 4 (01:38:01):
Is there something that gets you.
Speaker 1 (01:38:08):
To to cry what what was that last thing that
got you to bawl your eyes out because yesterday we
got to tour something that's going to be opening at
hollywood studios and walt disney world very very very soon
and this is the art of animation can someone check
and make sure i'm getting that name.
Speaker 5 (01:38:26):
Correct magic of disney animation.
Speaker 1 (01:38:28):
All right i was completely way off it is the
magic of disney animation the magic of disney animation all
right that makes so much more sense um so it's
a really cool experience they've got like character meet and
greets which you know we all love They've got a
drawing experience, which you can actually win tickets right now
(01:38:50):
on our Instagram if you can tell us correctly who
drew what.
Speaker 4 (01:38:54):
So at Live with Joe Show.
Speaker 1 (01:38:56):
And then they bring you into a theater and you
watch like a cartoon of every single character that's ever
been in a Disney animation. And it's essentially the story
is like they're celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Disney and
So they're jumping out of the paintings when the office
(01:39:19):
is closed. So everyone leaves and all the paintings come
to life. And then Mickey's gathering all of his friends.
And then they're gathering them to take a 100-year picture.
I had seen this before. It came out about a
year ago. So I watched this before. I had already
seen it. I had already gone through what I knew
(01:39:41):
Katie was going to go through. If Katie didn't see it,
I thought you already saw it. So I was not
expecting this to happen. But there is a very sweet moment.
And I'll even spoil it for you because it's been
out for a year. There's a moment where while they're
all trying to gather everyone, Mickey walks up to a
picture of Walt Disney and he's.
Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
Like, hey.
Speaker 1 (01:40:02):
And he's all sad. And It just, I don't know,
it hit me in the feels. And when I turned
to my left, Katie was bawling her eyes out.
Speaker 5 (01:40:14):
Are you about to cry right now? No, you were
going to think that. My eyelash itched. But I am getting, like, ugh.
Speaker 9 (01:40:19):
It was so nostalgic and beautiful and sweet and all
your favorite Disney characters.
Speaker 5 (01:40:25):
So I'm, like, watching this. And you, like, remember where
you were and who you were with when you watched
this movie. Okay, now I feel like I'm getting emotional.
It was so good. And I cried. bawled her eyes out.
Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
What made it so good?
Speaker 5 (01:40:38):
Shut up.
Speaker 4 (01:40:40):
Knock it off.
Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
I'm too Pisces right now. No, it was just like,
it was just very special. Why was it special?
Speaker 4 (01:40:46):
Yeah, tell us, Summers.
Speaker 5 (01:40:47):
Why do you guys like making me cry? I just
want to know why it was special to you.
Speaker 8 (01:40:51):
Because maybe the next time, if I know why you
thought it was special, maybe I'll think it's special and
I'll cry next time.
Speaker 5 (01:40:57):
I'll make sure I'm next to you. Because I'll roll
tape on it. You can actually see me crying at
the end of the TikTok that I posted. No, it
was really well done.
Speaker 4 (01:41:05):
Do you think about your childhood? Of course, we all do.
Speaker 8 (01:41:09):
Like hanging out with your cousins in your mom's basement,
watching movies, sleepovers.
Speaker 1 (01:41:15):
I feel like we really had her crying and then
you two talked. Which, by the way, too, can I
just say, while we're in there, I was so... frustrated
with Jed and Ashley.
Speaker 4 (01:41:27):
Why?
Speaker 1 (01:41:27):
Because you dumbasses are the whole entire time, you guys
are like, hey, hey, Jody, you wish you went to
high school with me?
Speaker 5 (01:41:37):
Hey, hey, you like Disney?
Speaker 1 (01:41:39):
It was pissing me off because the whole entire time
I'm going, hey, this is one of the sweetest cartoons
of all time.
Speaker 8 (01:41:47):
It is.
Speaker 5 (01:41:48):
I enjoyed it. It was really good. And you, Jed?
Speaker 4 (01:41:50):
And he still managed to cry after me.
Speaker 1 (01:41:53):
I don't know why it's so funny.
Speaker 4 (01:41:57):
Dude, I cry at the stupidest stuff all the time.
You should have cried. I cried at a Billy Strings
show with my dad. You don't think that's a bad thing?
Speaker 8 (01:42:07):
I think the best cry for me because it was
so random when Jed cried because Joe was asked to
speak at his father's Hall of Fame. Joe was just
chilling and Jed just started bawling in his eyes.
Speaker 5 (01:42:20):
I was like, wait, what's going on?
Speaker 4 (01:42:21):
Who's happier? Wait, there's a couple. There's a couple.
Speaker 1 (01:42:24):
Because Jed is, you know what, and maybe that's what
made me mad, was Jed is one of the most
sentimental people.
Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
I cry a lot. When we got this.
Speaker 5 (01:42:32):
Job, remember in the studio?
Speaker 4 (01:42:34):
I cried when we got the job, too. He was bawling.
Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
You didn't cry at yesterday's thing because you two were
giggling and acting like bad kids in the back of
the classroom.
Speaker 4 (01:42:45):
But, like, Jed.
Speaker 1 (01:42:48):
When I told Jed that my uncle passed away, which
is a really rough thing for me, Jed cried before
I cried.
Speaker 4 (01:42:56):
I can sense what Joe's about to tell me bad information. Oh,
you're an empath.
Speaker 5 (01:43:00):
You are. He's a water sign.
Speaker 8 (01:43:02):
That's the pricing.
Speaker 5 (01:43:03):
You tell the feels. How does it make you feel
when he cries for you?
Speaker 7 (01:43:06):
Well, the.
Speaker 4 (01:43:08):
Other one was, I got... Yeah, you look all manly,
and meanwhile over here, I'm looking like a total sack.
Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
I came in and I got Jed a Chelsea football jersey.
Speaker 8 (01:43:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:43:19):
And I gave it to him. And the moment I
handed it to him, he started to cry. And it
was only us in the studio. And the moment he
started to cry, literally in my head, I go, I'm
never buying another jersey again.
Speaker 6 (01:43:31):
I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:43:31):
I'm just kidding. I wasn't.
Speaker 8 (01:43:33):
Well, I guess it is weird if he's crying and
it's just you two in the studio.
Speaker 5 (01:43:36):
Because if I walk in or Katie walks in, we're like,
what's going on here?
Speaker 4 (01:43:40):
I called him fat.
Speaker 5 (01:43:42):
That one hurt him really bad.
Speaker 1 (01:43:45):
That wouldn't even make him sad. He would just go,
you're fat. You eat sour cream.
Speaker 4 (01:43:50):
I also cried at this one thing on Facebook, and
I think it's on Instagram, too. It's called Relative Race.
What is that? They basically think of Amazing Race, but
you're trying to find out who your parents or your
grandparents or your own aunts and uncles are.
Speaker 5 (01:44:06):
What?
Speaker 4 (01:44:07):
It will tug your tears. It's a tear tugger.
Speaker 5 (01:44:11):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
Yeah, here we go. Uh-oh, here comes the tears.
Speaker 5 (01:44:14):
Just maybe.
Speaker 4 (01:44:15):
Joe's queuing them up. Queuing what up?
Speaker 1 (01:44:18):
The tears.
Speaker 4 (01:44:18):
The tears.
Speaker 5 (01:44:20):
Come on, man. I said that was you and John.
Speaker 9 (01:44:23):
And they do When You Wish Upon a Star and
everyone's singing it together.
Speaker 5 (01:44:27):
Joe, come on. You guys are... Oh, it's so good.
Speaker 1 (01:44:39):
Mickey, where are you? We're in the lobby.
Speaker 13 (01:44:45):
Gotta go.
Speaker 5 (01:44:46):
But thanks.
Speaker 4 (01:44:48):
On with you.
Speaker 5 (01:44:50):
Stop it. Go on with the show. Everybody, they are.
That's what Disney does to you, man.
Speaker 1 (01:44:58):
Meanwhile, we're watching this and Ashley is going, I bet
you wish you could talk to the picture.
Speaker 8 (01:45:04):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (01:45:05):
Every time Walt is, you say, hey, it's your dad.
Speaker 4 (01:45:12):
I'm crying because I'm laughing hard.
Speaker 5 (01:45:16):
Stop it. I'm going to have cramps, bro.
Speaker 4 (01:45:19):
Stop it.
Speaker 5 (01:45:19):
I'm cramping right now.
Speaker 4 (01:45:21):
I hope you do.
Speaker 1 (01:45:22):
It hurts.
Speaker 5 (01:45:23):
You make me laugh too much. It's cool. Can we
go see that again today? I'm down to go watch
that again.
Speaker 4 (01:45:29):
Yeah, I'll go, but it's 89. You two can sit
up now.
Speaker 5 (01:45:33):
No, we're all going again.
Speaker 4 (01:45:34):
We're a team, bro.
Speaker 5 (01:45:35):
We're a team.
Speaker 1 (01:45:36):
No, I'm not doing anything with you guys again. I
really enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (01:45:40):
I did. Because apparently it's all a joke. It's not.
Speaker 5 (01:45:42):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (01:45:44):
You're playing with my emotions.
Speaker 5 (01:45:45):
It just touched your heart a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:45:46):
No, we're not laughing yet. We're laughing with you.
Speaker 9 (01:45:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:45:50):
You giggled.
Speaker 5 (01:45:53):
Those are happy tears.
Speaker 4 (01:45:54):
What's coming up with the news? It's just going to be,
by the way, it's just you and me. It's just
you and me. Hey, technical foul.
Speaker 9 (01:46:01):
We're going to talk about Miley Cyrus and the two
shows that she planned, but people are having a little
bit of an issue getting tickets.
Speaker 5 (01:46:09):
And then my computer isn't working right now, so I
will have to find another story.
Speaker 4 (01:46:13):
Come on, make up a news story. What's coming up
in the news?
Speaker 5 (01:46:16):
There's some food news that's trending, and it's pumpkin spice... Everything.
Speaker 1 (01:46:22):
Can we also talk about the naked man at the
Tampa courthouse, the naked man with the pool noodle?
Speaker 5 (01:46:29):
Oh, my God, yes.
Speaker 8 (01:46:30):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:46:31):
Did you see the wig he was wearing?
Speaker 4 (01:46:32):
Yes, the wig. The wig, I mean, my God.
Speaker 5 (01:46:34):
What a nod to history.
Speaker 4 (01:46:36):
It's crazy. All right, that and more is next.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
See what you're hearing on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok at

This is iHeartRadio's WFLZ Tampa Bay.
Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
The Joe Show has all the news and info you need.
Speaker 2 (01:47:06):
Top stories at the top of the hour with Katie Summers.
Speaker 9 (01:47:10):
Now listen, this is really convincing me that she could
be doing the halftime show at the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (01:47:15):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (01:47:15):
So Miley Cyrus cannot possibly meet the demands for this
Hollywood Bowl concert.
Speaker 5 (01:47:20):
She's got two of them. More than 1.5 million fans
registered for pre-ticket sales.
Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
1.5.
Speaker 5 (01:47:26):
There are two shows.
Speaker 9 (01:47:28):
So the bowl capacity is only 18,000, which leaves 1.46
million fans out of luck.
Speaker 5 (01:47:33):
I don't know. I feel like she's like micro dosing.
Speaker 4 (01:47:35):
Oh, yeah, she is. That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:47:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:47:37):
You start small and you go big. Yeah, exactly. She's
got to test the water. See, like, hey, do y'all
still like me? Y'all still rock with me? All right.
Looking good. That is an excellent point. So that's all right.
Speaker 9 (01:47:44):
If we're going to bet, do you have any prop
bets on the half-time performer? We actually are putting money
on Miley.
Speaker 1 (01:47:50):
I think I know who it should be. I know
I know who it should be. But I know I
know that they won't let it happen. And we'll leave
it at that.
Speaker 5 (01:47:59):
Kanye. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 12 (01:48:01):
80,000.
Speaker 5 (01:48:01):
Justin Bieber?
Speaker 4 (01:48:02):
Right. 80,000.
Speaker 5 (01:48:04):
Bieber would be good.
Speaker 4 (01:48:06):
80,000 back-to-back nights.
Speaker 5 (01:48:08):
He'd bring on everybody, too.
Speaker 1 (01:48:10):
15 guests in one show.
Speaker 4 (01:48:14):
But instead, we'll have Lil Nas X. Make that make sense.
Speaker 5 (01:48:18):
So tonight, it is exclusive. on Netflix.
Speaker 9 (01:48:21):
The San Francisco 49ers and the LA Rams are going
to play an NFL game in Australia.
Speaker 4 (01:48:27):
What do we think about that? I don't get it.
Speaker 5 (01:48:29):
What's the point?
Speaker 4 (01:48:30):
They're trying to market the game globally. Which is what
they did with soccer here in the U.S. this last summer.
Speaker 5 (01:48:36):
And what happened?
Speaker 4 (01:48:37):
Joe became a fan. Can we talk sports.
Speaker 1 (01:48:40):
For 30 seconds and then we'll move on? What do
you guys think about this? So they're playing in Australia.
It takes basically a day to get there. It's a
long flight. The 49ers flew last week. They've been there
for about a week getting ready for the game and
(01:49:02):
the time difference and.
Speaker 4 (01:49:03):
All of that.
Speaker 1 (01:49:04):
The Rams flew out yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:49:09):
Really?
Speaker 1 (01:49:11):
And they're just treating it like, bang, we're in, we play,
we go back home.
Speaker 5 (01:49:15):
That's going to be terrible on their body. That's what
I was thinking. All that time in the plane, it's
not worth it.
Speaker 1 (01:49:20):
How mad would you be if you were, like, the
family and stuff? It's like, come on, I want to
spend the week in Australia. When are we going to
go back to Australia?
Speaker 5 (01:49:28):
Oh, you're thinking about the Australian vacation of it all.
Speaker 1 (01:49:30):
A hundred percent. If I'm the players, like, wouldn't it
be fun to, like, spend some time and go on.
Speaker 5 (01:49:34):
Yeah, a day or two.
Speaker 1 (01:49:35):
I don't know what they do in Australia, but wouldn't
it be fun to Australia it up?
Speaker 4 (01:49:39):
Yeah, shrimp on the bar. Go out back and... Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:49:42):
And.
Speaker 4 (01:49:43):
You know, do whatever else they do. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:49:45):
Meet a kangaroo.
Speaker 4 (01:49:46):
Throw a boomerang.
Speaker 5 (01:49:48):
Boomerangs, obviously.
Speaker 9 (01:49:50):
So the Jonas Brothers are going to be the halftime
performers to accommodate the time zone difference for an evening
kickoff in America. The game is actually starting in Australia.
Tomorrow morning at 10, because they're in the future.
Speaker 4 (01:50:03):
Wait, so it's at 10 a.m.
Speaker 9 (01:50:05):
They have to start it in Australia tomorrow morning at 10,
but we'll be watching it tonight.
Speaker 4 (01:50:09):
Can we talk sports for another 30 seconds? Yes, you can.
What do you guys think about this? Yes. Coach on
the 49ers.
Speaker 5 (01:50:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:50:16):
Kyle Shanahan? No.
Speaker 1 (01:50:21):
No. There's a coach on the 49ers whose birthday was
the day they were traveling. Because of the time change,
you skip a day. He missed his 50th birthday party. Well,
his 50th birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:50:39):
Thoughts on that?
Speaker 5 (01:50:40):
Oh, that blows. Inception. Yeah, I'm not going nowhere.
Speaker 9 (01:50:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:50:43):
Think about that.
Speaker 9 (01:50:44):
I'm upset with that. Like, I don't mind if they
go like. I don't know, do it in like London
or something. But I mean, all the way in Australia,
that just seems.
Speaker 5 (01:50:51):
And you're only going for a day? Just for a day.
Speaker 4 (01:50:54):
A day.
Speaker 5 (01:50:54):
Exactly. Let me vacation.
Speaker 1 (01:50:56):
Wouldn't you be mad too if you were like one
of the football players and like, you know, because I
know some of them and they like to, they like
to have like a, you know, you get a girl
in every city. Like you got another country that you're
going to. You already know, you already know the Australian
women are like excited about an NFL player. A woman
(01:51:17):
with an accent?
Speaker 4 (01:51:18):
Oh, behave.
Speaker 1 (01:51:20):
And you miss out on that. You're there for two seconds.
You know, I would have a lot of issues if
I was a player.
Speaker 5 (01:51:27):
A lot. Is his 15 seconds up? Is that sports?
It's so cute.
Speaker 9 (01:51:34):
Okay, so Dash, they're a company that makes household appliances,
and you get them at Target. They're teaming up with
Nightmare Before Christmas, and it's these new kitchen gadgets, and
it's all Nightmare Before Christmas themed. So there's a mini
waffle maker that you can make Oogie Boogie's face, Sally, Jack.
Speaker 5 (01:51:51):
You know who Jack is. Yeah, the skeleton.
Speaker 10 (01:51:53):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:51:56):
I used to think he was Elijah. Yeah. What? Which part?
Speaker 4 (01:52:02):
What does that even mean?
Speaker 5 (01:52:05):
I don't know. Lanky, like. He a little clumsy. Right.
He always dropping stuff in the studio.
Speaker 4 (01:52:12):
Lanky does mean skinny, right?
Speaker 5 (01:52:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:52:15):
I'll take it.
Speaker 12 (01:52:16):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (01:52:17):
There is a Nightmare Before Christmas themed egg cooker if
you want to cook some eggs.
Speaker 5 (01:52:21):
And then also a popcorn maker. Love that. And that
was adorable.
Speaker 1 (01:52:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:52:25):

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. I get
lost on the sauce.
Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
I almost missed this moment. Hello. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:52:43):
Joe Show live on 93.3 FLZ.
Speaker 4 (01:52:46):
What do we think? We got less than an hour today.
Speaker 5 (01:52:47):
Flew by so fast.
Speaker 8 (01:52:49):
I know.
Speaker 4 (01:52:49):
Flew by.
Speaker 1 (01:52:50):
Day two of broadcasting live at Walt Disney World. We
gave away annual passes already, which was a huge moment.
Someone did figure out the secret sound, if you're.
Speaker 4 (01:53:01):
Wondering what it was.
Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
It was pouring out a bucket of candy. Or pouring
out like a bag of candy. So congratulations. Enjoy it.
It was Danielle, right? Danielle's going to Walt Disney World
with her family for a whole year. Now, single-day tickets,
we do have those still. I think we end the
(01:53:24):
show by giving away a couple, but we also are
giving away some on Instagram right now. Instagram has pictures
of our drawings from yesterday. We all drew Mickey Mouse,
and if you can correctly guess who drew what, we'll
put you in the running to win. Obviously, you know, I...
(01:53:46):
I don't want to help you out, but I'll help
you out. Mine is the best.
Speaker 4 (01:53:52):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:53:53):
And it really, quite frankly, it's not even close. Like,
everyone saw it and they went.
Speaker 4 (01:53:57):
Yeah, no.
Speaker 1 (01:53:58):
That's the best. People literally stopped me at Disney. They
already offered me an animation job. And they saw Katie's.
They said, okay, that's an attempt. Then they saw... Ashley's
and they said are you trying to make fun of
Mickey Mouse we're kicking you out and you know and
(01:54:20):
then Jed did it which one was yours which number
don't give.
Speaker 8 (01:54:24):
It up yeah don't give it out we know you
got friends that listen and want tickets and they're just
gonna go and say Jed's is the.
Speaker 1 (01:54:33):
Best yeah wait a second hold on why did a
pizza owner win the tickets how did that happen no
never All right.
Speaker 4 (01:54:42):
Hold on.
Speaker 1 (01:54:43):
I closed my iPad, and we still have things we've
got to talk about.
Speaker 5 (01:54:46):
I closed my iPad. That's such a millennial thing to say.
Speaker 1 (01:54:53):
With football season and everything going on, I want to know,
is there a time of the year that weddings shouldn't exist?
Because my cousin very passionately told me at the funeral
that he thinks that I'm a By having my funeral
during football season.
Speaker 3 (01:55:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:55:11):
Or my wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:55:12):
Yeah, he said his what?
Speaker 4 (01:55:13):
Well, hey, you never know. My funeral could be during
football season, too.
Speaker 5 (01:55:17):
What the hell is even that?
Speaker 4 (01:55:19):
If it is, hammer the Lions. They will win.
Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
Is it bad, though, that I'm having a wedding, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:55:32):
During the holiday season. I don't think so. I don't
think so. And honestly, the weather is perfect.
Speaker 9 (01:55:37):
I think if it's in the middle of the summer,
like around 4th of July, that is diabolical.
Speaker 5 (01:55:42):
Because everyone's going to be uncomfortable and sweaty. It could
have been inside.
Speaker 4 (01:55:46):
Yeah, it could be inside.
Speaker 5 (01:55:47):
See, I'm thinking, Alyssa, I love you. This is all
just jokes. You know, I'm trying to get people to laugh.
Speaker 8 (01:55:53):
I think you have it in December when everybody has
all their holiday work parties, all the families trying to
figure out where we're going to have the holiday Christmas party.
Speaker 5 (01:56:01):
You just have all these.
Speaker 8 (01:56:02):
Expectations of being somewhere, meeting people, because a lot of
people are getting off work. They're getting up early so
they can go hang out. It's just like, Joe, now
I've got to make time for your wedding.
Speaker 4 (01:56:10):
Yeah, but it's not in hurricane season.
Speaker 5 (01:56:14):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:56:16):
I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:56:17):
That was a factor?
Speaker 1 (01:56:17):
Yes. Do you know that most wedding venues don't give
you money back?
Speaker 5 (01:56:23):
I mean, there was February and April right there.
Speaker 4 (01:56:28):
April showers, first of all.
Speaker 5 (01:56:33):
May flowers.
Speaker 4 (01:56:34):
February is too cold. At the end of February, that's
when we do spring training. Man, it's cold.
Speaker 5 (01:56:41):
So are we changing the date?
Speaker 4 (01:56:44):
No. We're doing it at the end of the year.
Speaker 5 (01:56:48):
But yeah, I'm a cousin.
Speaker 4 (01:56:50):
Wait, wait. I want to know which cousin. Is this
cousin married?
Speaker 5 (01:56:53):
It don't matter. I'm with him.
Speaker 4 (01:56:55):
No one knows my cousin. It doesn't matter who did it.
Speaker 5 (01:56:57):
I met you yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:56:58):
Are they married, though? This cousin who complained? Well, then
they have no right to talk.
Speaker 5 (01:57:01):
They do. Because they have to travel.
Speaker 4 (01:57:03):
Because they don't understand the hardships of what it is
to put together a relationship. Hold on one second.
Speaker 1 (01:57:08):
They're not even worried about the travel. They're more mad
that they can't watch football.
Speaker 5 (01:57:13):
Yeah, and Chris Brown's that same weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:57:16):
Let's not get specific with the dates of the wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:57:20):
Well, I will say that, yeah, he's right.
Speaker 8 (01:57:23):
During football season, just holiday season, I think you were
kind of off base with that.
Speaker 5 (01:57:27):
But it wasn't my wedding to plan.
Speaker 9 (01:57:29):
If someone is complaining about a football game over your wedding,
that's insane.
Speaker 4 (01:57:34):
I thought you were going to say take their invitation back. Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:57:39):
Or kindly accept the present and be like.
Speaker 4 (01:57:41):
It's all good.
Speaker 5 (01:57:42):
Stay home.
Speaker 4 (01:57:42):
That is a good idea, Joe, to cancel their wedding
invites if they've complained about your wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:57:47):
No.
Speaker 7 (01:57:48):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:57:49):
People complain all the time. I'm complaining. I'm going to go.
Speaker 6 (01:57:52):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:57:52):
It's like, okay, you have basically, it's a two-strike-and-you're-out policy
because one's enough. It's a Catholic League rule. Yeah, it's
a Catholic League rule. If you hear two people complaining
about your wedding, then you should invite them. And complaining
about a football game? Yeah, like a football game. Is
it Alabama LSU?
Speaker 1 (01:58:13):
No.
Speaker 5 (01:58:13):
It's just a game. It matters. It's just like, hey, bro,
I want to be around the homies. I want to
have a crack of beer open. I want to chill
on the couch.
Speaker 4 (01:58:19):
If that's FSU Florida weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:58:22):
It doesn't matter. He's trying to have them parlays hit.
Speaker 4 (01:58:26):
That's all.
Speaker 5 (01:58:27):
He wants to be live watching the game. You can't
do that.
Speaker 1 (01:58:30):
Would it bother you if it was during a Packers game?
Speaker 5 (01:58:32):
It would not bother me at all.
Speaker 4 (01:58:34):
Don't lie to us.
Speaker 5 (01:58:34):
I would just watch it on my phone. I'm just kidding.
Speaker 4 (01:58:38):
I don't mind people being on their phones at the wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:58:41):
You should just bring in a projector and have us watch.
Speaker 4 (01:58:44):
A projector?
Speaker 5 (01:58:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:58:45):
You think that with everything Alyssa's putting into this.
Speaker 5 (01:58:47):
I'll bring the one out of my bedroom.
Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
That would be great.
Speaker 5 (01:58:51):
It would be crazy, wouldn't it? I probably will bring it.
You can't boss, but it would be crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:58:57):
If in the corner of the room it's Bucks, Panthers.
Speaker 5 (01:59:00):
And me and your cousins all hanging out. It's in
the other corner.
Speaker 1 (01:59:04):
Baker throws an interception and the whole vibe of the
wedding is completely thrown off.
Speaker 5 (01:59:08):
Not going to happen.
Speaker 1 (01:59:12):
So I mainly did this because I want to know
what Chad was going to say because I'm worried. Are
you going to be like my cousin and be kind
of mad that it's on a football day?
Speaker 8 (01:59:25):
I'm, well.
Speaker 5 (01:59:27):
Chad.
Speaker 4 (01:59:29):
Okay. I'm a little salty that it is the weekend
that it is. But I also realize that it's my
best friend. And sometimes you have to sacrifice the things
that you love in life for your best friend.
Speaker 5 (01:59:42):
You have to be inconvenienced. That's what I love. If
you love someone, you have to be inconvenienced by them.
Of course. Yeah. I read that in a book. That's good.
Speaker 4 (01:59:50):
What type of book is that? To love someone, you
have to be miserable?
Speaker 1 (01:59:54):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:59:54):
Didn't my mom write that?
Speaker 5 (01:59:57):
You know, listen, when you're inconvenienced, you're going to do it.
It's like picking up someone at the airport. You know
you want to go home. You're like, oh, man, I
got to pick you up from the airport, but I
love you. Exactly.
Speaker 4 (02:00:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:00:08):
So we love you. We'll be there.
Speaker 4 (02:00:10):
Alright, that's it for today's show.
Speaker 1 (02:00:12):
If you missed a single second, check it out on
our iHeartRadio app. Shout out to Danielle figuring out the
Joe Show secret sound. Danielle is going to Walt Disney
World for a whole year. Walt Disney World annual passes.
That's what she won.
Speaker 4 (02:00:27):
It was so cool. That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:00:29):
So, at Live with Joe Show at 93.3 FLZ, your
last chance tickets.
