Speaker 3 (00:09):
The Joe Show has all the news an info you need,
top stories at the top of the hour with Katie Summers.
So some traffic info that could affect your commute This morning,
A fatal crash has closed all westbound lanes on I four.
This is at Exit ten, the Mango Road exit near Sefner,
causing massive backups. Motorists are being diverted and should expect
(00:30):
severe delays or seek alternative routes. There is also another
crash impacting westbound traffic near Lake Mary Boulevard. So Kayla
Burris from Ave Maria, Florida, which is like around Naples,
initially thought someone was legit breaking into her home. She
heard loud noises under screen porch. Instead, she found two
alligators engaging in an all out brawl.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
They ripped through the mesh screening.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Listen to this.
Speaker 6 (00:56):
It started with a noise getting louder by the second.
I thought somebody was breaking in because I never thought
that the gators were going to enter my porch. When
she looked outside, two large alligators were locked in a
violent fight. Definitely. It looked like they were fighting over
territory or something. It wasn't like a mating ritual that
I had seen, because there was blood and it had
(01:17):
it some hind quarters like in its jaws. In the door,
the gators slammed into the screen enclosure, tearing through it.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
My kids play here, leaving behind.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Twisted metal and shredded mesh.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
It was scary, and I just warn everybody else in
the neighborhood, like watch your kids, watch the dogs, because
it was it was fast, because they might never know.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Okay, yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
So I guess a licensed trapper relocated both reptiles.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
And just a reminder if you're new to.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Florida, any body of water, I don't care if it's
a retention pond, I don't care where you are. If
you're kayaking, there could be an alligator in it. Because
it's Florida.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
And now that it's been so so so dry and
it's getting back to being hot, hot, hot, hot. What
should you always check under your car is always check
on your vehicles if you're near a body of water
as well, because they're hiding.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
Because they're hot. And also remember too, they're not mean, mean,
they're angry. No, they're not angry. They're not angry. They
won't eat.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
You.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
Don't get in their way.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
That's there under my car. They're in my way. That's
like a fighter dog. You can't get mad at the
dog you got in its way. You put your hand
right next to their mouth. What do you expect? And
also if you golf, no golf ball's worth getting.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, don't walk your dogs near the water.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
Prov one. Then you got chases.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Only walk your ex by the water.
Speaker 3 (02:36):

helping her own show.
Speaker 3 (04:19):

after he missed his wife Gwen Stefani's No Doubt concert
at the Sphere.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Hello, Okay, that's one you gotta pull up to.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
