Speaker 1 (00:00):
This portion of the Joe Show podcast is powered by
Farrah and Farrah, Tampa accident attorneys.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
This is iHeartRadio's WFLZ Tampa Bay. The Joe Show has
all the news and info you need. Top stories at
the top of the hour with Katie Summers. Now listen,
this is really convincing me that... She could be doing
the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Okay. So Miley
Cyrus cannot possibly meet the demands for this Hollywood Bowl concert.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
She's got two of them.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
More than 1.5 million fans registered for pre-ticket sales. 1.5.
There are two shows. So the bowl capacity is only 18,000,
which leaves 1.46 million fans out of luck.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I feel like she's like micro dosing.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Oh, yeah, she is. That's what it is.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah. You start small and you go big.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
She's got to test the water. See, like, hey, do
y'all still like me? Y'all still rock with me?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
All right.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Looking good. That is an excellent point.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
So that's all right.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
If we're going to bet, do you have any prop
bets on that?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
After performer, you actually are putting money on Miley.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I think I know who it should be. I know
I know who it should be, but I know I
know that they won't let it happen. And we'll leave
it at that. Kanye. Yeah, okay. 80,000.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I was like, Justin Bieber? Right.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
80,000.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Bieber would be good.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
80,000 back-to-back nights. He'd bring on everybody, too. 15 guests
in one show. But instead we'll have Lil Nas X.
Make that make sense.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
So tonight it is exclusively on Netflix. The San Francisco
49ers and the LA Rams are going to play an
NFL game in Australia.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
What do we think about that? I don't get it. Yeah,
I don't get it either. What's the point? They're trying
to market the game globally.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Which is what they did with soccer here in the U.S.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
This last year. And what happened, Joe became a fan.
Can we talk sports for 30 seconds and then we'll
move on? What do you guys think about this? So
they're playing in Australia. It takes basically a day to
get there. It's a long flight. The 49ers flew last week.

(02:04):
They've been there for about a week getting ready for
the game and the time difference and all of that.
The Rams flew out yesterday.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Really?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
And they're just treating it like, bang, we're in, we play,
we go back home. that's going to be terrible on
their body.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
That's what I was thinking. All that time in the plane.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
How mad would you be if you were like the
family and stuff? It's like, come on, I want to
spend the week in Australia. When are we going to
go back to Australia?

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Oh, you're thinking about the Australian vacation of it all.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
A hundred percent. If I'm the players, wouldn't it be
fun to spend some time and go on? I don't
know what they do in Australia, but wouldn't it be
fun to Australia up? Yeah, shrimp on the bar. Go
out back and... You know, do whatever else they do.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Meet a kangaroo.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Throw a boomerang. Boomerangs, obviously.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So the Jonas Brothers are going to be the halftime
performers to accommodate the time zone difference for an evening
kickoff in America. The game is actually starting in Australia.
Tomorrow morning at 10, because they're in the future. Wait,
it starts at 10 a.m.? They have to start it
in Australia tomorrow morning at 10, but we'll be watching
it tonight.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
We talk sports for another 30 seconds. What do you
guys think about this? Coach on the 49ers. Yeah. Kyle Shanahan? No. No.
There's a coach on the 49ers whose birthday was the
day they were traveling. Because of the time change, you

(03:39):
skip a day, he missed his 50th birthday party. Well,
his 50th birthday. Thoughts on that?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Oh, that blows. Inception. Yeah, I'm not going nowhere.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah. Think about that.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I'm upset with that. Like, I don't mind if they go, like,
I don't know, do it in, like, London or something. But,
I mean, all the way in Australia, that just seems.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
And you're only going for a day? Just for a day.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Again. Exactly. Give me vacation.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Wouldn't you be mad, too, if you were, like, one
of the football players and, like, You know, because I
know some of them and they like to have like a,
you know, you get a girl in every city. Like
you got another country that you're going to. You already
know the Australian women are like excited about an NFL player.

(04:23):
A woman with an accent? Oh, behave. And you miss
out on that. You're there for two seconds. You know,
I would have a lot of issues if I was
a player. A lot. Is his 15 seconds up?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Is that sports? It's so cute. Okay, so Dash, they're
a company that makes household appliances, and you get them
at Target. They're teaming up with Nightmare Before Christmas, and
it's these new kitchen gadgets, and it's all Nightmare Before
Christmas themed. So there's a mini waffle maker that you
can make Oogie Boogie's face, Sally, Jack. You know who

(04:58):
Jack is.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, the skeleton. Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I used to think he was Elijah.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
What? Which part? What does that even mean?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Lanky?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
He a little clumsy?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Right.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
He always dropping stuff in the studio.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Lanky does mean skinny, right?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
There is a Nightmare Before Christmas themed egg cooker if
you want to cook some eggs. And then also a
popcorn maker. Love that. And that was adorable. And you
