Speaker 1 (00:00):
You want to talk about the radical, insane green agenda
on steroids while listen now to this latest story. The
Massachusetts state legislature, signed by the Governor hold It Healy,
has now banned single use plastic bags, not just in
grocery stores, in every single store in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

(00:26):
Why because they say it's bad for the environment. So
in the name of fighting climate change, businesses, consumers will
no longer have the option of using plastic bags. Say,
when they go to the grocery store or the pharmacy,
or wherever it may be, they must use paper bags,

(00:50):
and with a mandatory fee either ten cents, twenty five cents,
whatever it may be. So consumers now are not just
deprived of plastic, which by the way, is phenomenal, and
you have to use a much inferior paper bag which
tears very easily. As I said on the show, it's

(01:13):
garbage quality. But they then even force you to pay
for it. Now, when you think about this, logically, what
business is it of the government. This is big brother
now to tell a business owner or an individual what
bags they can use, what bags they can't use. If

(01:35):
a business owner wants to give the best service to
his or her clients and says, you know what, my
customers like plastic. I want to be able to offer plastic.
What is it the government's business to prevent that? Or
if I go to my grocery store or my local
CBS and I want to have my products put that
I purchased put into a plastic bag, whose business is it.

(02:01):
It's time for this state and it's liberal leaders to
mind their own freaking business. But even more than that,
think about how illogical and insane the entire proposal is.
You go to a grocery store, everything is in plastic.

(02:24):
The bread is wrapped in what plastic, Milk is in
a jug of what plastic? The bacon, plastic eggs, plastic cartons,
all of the packaging, detergent, peanut, butter, you name it.
It's all in yes, plastic. Same thing when you go

(02:47):
to a seven to eleven, or you go to a
pharmacy or whatever, pens plastic. The bottles that contain taylanol
are aspirin, plastic, raisors, plastic, shampoo, plastic. Everything is contained
in plastic. In other words, banning single use plastic bags

(03:13):
is the proverbial drop in the bucket it makes no sense.
It's completelyffeckless and ineffective. It is utterly irrational and illogical,
except for one thing. It now makes big government even bigger.
The state now intrudes even more on businesses, on our

(03:39):
freedoms and liberties, and on our personal choice. It's time
that we taught Heally and the Democrats a lesson once
and for all. Mind your own business. If I want
to use a single use plastic bag, that's my choice,

(04:01):
not yours.

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
