SCOTUS Delivers Massive Blow to Democrats

The Supreme Court just delivered a hammer blow to the
Democrats in a landmark major ruling six to three, Chief
Justice John Roberts siding with the conservative majority, and obviously
Katanji Brown Jackson, Sonya sotomayor Elena Kagan the three liberals

(00:21):
on the Court in dissent. The Supreme Court ruled that
congressional districts can no longer be drawn along racial lines
or using race as a criteria. In plain English, the
dozens and dozens of majority minority districts that the Democrats

(00:45):
have gerry mandered in states all across the country are
illegal and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has just declared that
longrests cannot draw up districts based on race. And what

this means now in plain English, is that the Republicans
are poised to pick up a dozen to maybe twenty
even twenty five seats in the upcoming midterm elections. That
Texas is now going to jerrymander or redistrict their congressional map.

They will pick up six seats, Florida will pick up four.
Mississippi now is holding a special session where they're expected
now to get rid of some of these majority minority
districts pick up a few seats Missouri didto North Carolina
didto Ohio didto In other words, for years, Democrats were

able to jerrymander Republicans or not. It is now a
level playing field. Republicans can jerry mander, as the Supreme
Court said, for quote unquote partisan advantage, but racial jerrymandering.
That's illegal and against the Constitution and against the very

spirit of the Voting Rights Act. And so Republicans now
are poised to not only pick up seats in the
twenty twenty six midterms, but even pick up more seats
in the twenty twenty eight elections and the expected blue wave.
The hope that Hakim Jeffries would become the next House Speaker,

and that maybe Schumer would become the next Senate Majority leader,
and that the Democrats would roar back to power and
impeach the President Trump and his entire cabinet. Those dreams
are now fading because the Supreme Court rules to finally

end using race as a pretext to gerrymander districts that
maximize democratic power and minimize Republican power. It's now open
even playing field. Democrats can jerry mander for partisan reasons

(03:24):
soaken Republicans. And the problem is the Democrats have jerrymandered
every state to the max. There's no more room to
grow the Republicans. They're just beginning. This time. The Democrats
fought a war and they lost. They started a battle

they never should have begun. And now let the redistricting
wars begin, because it's going to be the democrats waterloo
come November. If the Republicans play their cards right, they
just may keep the House and the Senate and blunt

the expected blue wave. And they'll have to thank the
Supreme Court because this time the Court came through, and
it came through big
