Today's truth Control comes from Francesco Hong, who is a
Democrat Socialist candidate for Wisconsin governor. When during an interview
with CNN, she's asked if she still believes Thanksgiving should
be canceled because she has said that in the past.
Here's what she had to say.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Do you still believe that Thanksgiving should be canceled.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
I'm a chef and one of the first meals that
I made that was for the community when I was sixteen,
was a Thanksgiving meal. Now, I always think my hospitality
background in all a restaurant for seven eight years, that
bringing folks around the table to share conversation and build
community is always a good thing. But Thanksgiving is also

a time that's incredibly painful for many people in our communities,
and so I think there I wanted to make sure
that people understood that there are multiple views, but views
can evolve, and the position that I'm running for right now,
and I think my background as a chef will actually
help me become a better governor that's able to bring
more people to the table.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Thanksgiving really is so painful for so many, so many.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Especially after that, you know, after is it that third
round the helpings with the turkey?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
You know, yeah, that's really the only pain that I
experience is how much food that I shove down my throat.
But here's the question, is she telling the truth or
is she just trolling just to try to push another
fake narrative.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
No, honestly, Mike, I think she's in her view, she's
so crazy. You know, she's a communist. I mean again, seriously,
she's a diehard, she's DSA. She's a diehard communist. And
it's not just that she wants to abolish Thanksgiving. She
wants to abolish, abolish Memorial Day, fourth of July, Mother's Day,

Father's Day, and eventually she said Christmas has to go,
Christmas in Easter they gotta go. So no, she's a
full blown nut job comedy. And in her view, it's
you know, she says, because we're celebrating colonialism whenever we
have Thanksgiving, like we will, she doesn't realize we got

the idea of Thanksgiving from Native Americans that in fact,
the initial Pilgrims ate and broke bread with Native Americans.
I mean, that's how historic ignorant this woman is. But no,
like a good communist, she wants to destroy a country's
culture and heritage. And Thanksgiving is a key part of

our heritage. So no, Mike, she's she's serious as a
heart attack. She wants to abolish Thanksgiving. And she's so stupid.
You know, how hard is it? All? She had to
tell Caitlyn Collins is, Yeah, that was a couple of
years ago. I changed my mind. But no, she's such
a fanatic. I was a chef. By the way, my

restaurant went bankrupt.

But when I'm in sixteen, we made a Thanksgiving me
and I won. Everybody at the table and all views represented.
Because some people are hurt by Thanksgiving?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Who who's hurt? Who? Who wants to I mean, outside
of these crazy moonbats? Who wants to abolish Thanksgiving? But
you think Native Americans sit around, oh Thanksgiving? Oh the pain,
Oh the pain, Oh my god, Oh how could they

have Thanksgiving? Oh my god, I'm gonna die today. No,
they're eating turkey, they're stuffing their faces as well. We you.
And by the way, she's the front runner for the
Democrats to be their next governor. Okay, that's what I
mean when I say this is this party is becoming

a party of lunatics anyway. Okay, but that's me I

She's a Democrat for Wisconsin. She's the front runner. Francesca
Hung says Thanksgiving should be canceled because it's a time
