Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six seven two six six, sixty eight, sixty eight. If
you want to be part of the show, okay, a
couple lines are open. If you want to jump on,
now is the time to do it. This is what
the media is afraid of. This is why they are
going on about this plane. They won't let go of
this plane, and they're trying to make something out of nothing. Really,
(00:25):
it's not a personal gift. It can't be construed as
a bribe in any way, shape or form, or corruption
or anything like it. So they know now that they're lying,
and that's why Trump is angry with them. And I
don't blame them now. I mentioned there the executive order
reducing prescription drug costs for all Americans. The stock market
(00:48):
now is booming again. In fact, the inflation numbers just
came in. This is for the entire month of April.
That's when all the tariffs kicked in. Inflation barely budged.
Remember they kept predicting over and over again that inflation
was going to go through the roof, that the tariffs
(01:10):
were going to crash the market, they were going to
crash the economy, that you're going to see inflation go
up five percent, eight percent, ten percent, fifteen percent, the
sky was going to fall. None of that happened, none
of it. Listen now to Trump. It's not just that
he got a cease fire between India and Pakistan. As
(01:34):
you know, they were trading blows. They were Artillery was
being fired across the border. Indian particular was pounding Pakistani
positions deep into Pakistan in response to that dreadful Islamist
terrorist attack of a couple weeks ago. The two countries
(01:55):
were on the brink of an all out war. These
are two nuclear armed powers. I mean we were on,
you know, potentially on the road to armageddon. Trump stepped
in to be fair, Rubio stepped in. His national security
team got mobilized, jd Vance, They made phone calls, and
(02:17):
Trump also did art of the deal. He went to
India and he went to Pakistan and he said, please,
not just peace, but let me give you an incentive
for peace. Let's make a deal, a trade deal. This way,
you're both countries will do better. And let's turn our
swords into plowshares. Let's stop the fighting and the dying
(02:42):
before we go down a road we cannot come back.
Roll cut for Mike.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
On Saturday, my administration helped brokery full and immediate cease fire,
I think a permanent one between India and Pakistan, ending
a dangerous conflict of two nations with lots of nuclear weapons,
and they were going at it hot and heavy, and
it was seemingly not going to stop. And I'm very
(03:15):
proud to let you know that the leadership of Indian
Pakistan was unwavering, powerful, but unwavering in both cases. And
having these they really were from the standpoint of having
the strength and the wisdom and fortitude to fully know
and to understand the gravity of the situation. And we
(03:40):
helped a lot.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
And He's right, the situation was very serious. It was
very grave. And listen now to Trump saying, look, we
didn't just tell both sides to knock it off. We
dangled a big juicy carrot in front of them. Trade opportunities,
economic opportunities, roll cut for a mike. We helped also
(04:06):
with trade.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I said, come on, we're going to do a lot
of trade with you guys.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Let's stop it. Let's stop it. If you stop it,
we're doing trade.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
If you don't stop it, we're not going to do
any trade. People have never really used trade the way
I used it, that I can tell you, And all
of a sudden they said, I think we're going to stop,
and they have, and then they did it for a
lot of reasons, but trade is a big one. We're
going to do a lot of trade with Pakistan. We're
going to do a lot of trade with India. We're
(04:35):
negotiating with India right now, we're going to be soon
negotiating with Pakistan. And we stopped the nuclear conflict. I
think it could have been a bad nuclear war. Millions
of people could have been killed. So I'm very proud
of that. I also want to thank Vice President of
Vance and Secretary of State Rubio for their work and efforts.
They worked very hard.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
And that I mean, to be fair, they did. They
really worked the phone's hard for for hours and hours
and hours. But again, look, the media, have you even
read about this? Why? Because I'm telling you the guy
deserves I'm telling you he deserved a Nobel Peace Prize.
India and Pakistan have fought three wars, all out wars
(05:19):
in the last hundred years against each other. A fourth
one was there. I mean they were trading blows, artillery,
missile attacks, airstrikes. I mean, they were going at each other.
The body count was piling up. This was one of
the biggest stories in the world. And here's Trump and
(05:41):
he put basically he put a cork on it. Now
on top of this, and I mentioned this earlier, but
this bears repeating. Now today is Tuesday. On Thursday, we
may have an historic meeting. Maybe we shall see. Zelensky
has agreed to direct one on one talks with Vladimir Putin.
(06:06):
Putin has said he wants direct talks, but he wants
a delegation to delegation. Now we will see if Putin
does respond, if we do. If he does, it's going
to be in Turkey, in Istanbul where peace will be
on the table to end the war in Ukraine. And
(06:26):
President Trump now has openly publicly said, if Vladimir Putin
says yes, and Zelenski and Putin will meet in Turkey.
My plane, I know it's forty years old. It doesn't matter.
Air Force one six one seven two six six, sixty
eight sixty eight. If you want to be part of
(06:47):
the show, Okay, You've got all of these successes, and
they're just piling up. And this was just over the
last couple days. This one though. In terms of foreign policy,
I know, it's trade and it ties into the economy.
It's not just strictly foreign policy. So let's just say
national security maybe the biggest of them all. So, as
(07:11):
you know, the inflation report just came out maybe an
hour ago. It is lower than expected. All of the
doom and gloom that inflation was going to soar because
of the tariffs and because Trump was going to have
a trade war with China, that this was going to
lead to all, my god, supply chain shortages, the stock
(07:32):
market was crashing, prices were going to go through the roof.
It was going to be an economic crisis. Inflation is
actually lower than what they expected. Inflation is cooling, and
more importantly, they just signed a ninety days suspension of
(07:54):
most tariffs. They have signed a deal that looks now
like we are going going to eventually come to a
long term resolution. And guess what, they played a game
of chicken and communist China. Jijinping blinked, listen now to
Trump roll cut five mic.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
In addition, yesterday we achieved a total reset with China
after productive talks in Geneva. Both sides now agree to
reduce the tariffs imposed after April second to ten percent
for ninety days as negotiators continue in the largest structural issues.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
And I want to tell you that a couple of things.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
First of all, that doesn't include the tariffs that are
already on that are our tariffs, And it doesn't include
tariffs on cars, steel, aluminum, things such as that, or
tariffs that may be imposed on pharmaceuticals, because we want
to bring the far oar baceutical business is back to
the United States, and they're already starting to come back
now based on tariffs because they don't want to pay
(09:07):
twenty five, fifty or one hundred percent tariffs are they're
moving them back to the United States.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Now, this is huge because you now have a deal,
an interim deal between China and the United States. But
Trump did not budge on steel, aluminum, You hear them,
You heard them, cars, pharmaceuticals, the big national security issues. No, no, no, no,
The tariffs are going to stay. So Beijing now has acquiesced.
(09:37):
We're going to reshore our supply chain, we're going to
protect American steel, we're going to bring back manufacturing, and
we've essentially now broken the back of communists China listen
now to Trump saying, look, they came to us, they
need a resolution, they need a deal. Why as this
(10:00):
trade war was killing him. Roll cut five a Mike.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
The talks in Geneva were very friendly. The relationship is
very good. We're not looking to her China. China was
being hurt very badly. They were closing up factories, they
were having a lot of unrest. Then they were very
happy to be able to do something with us, and
the relationship is very very good. I'll speak to President
she may be at the end of the week. We
(10:28):
have some other things we're doing.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Now. You've got an economy now that's clearly clearly now
getting some momentum. You've got the stock market now that
is really starting to soar. The border now has been
completely sealed. You have President Trump now preventing World War
three between India and Pakistan, maybe now on the verge
(10:53):
of settling the war in Ukraine. You've got him now
trying to cut a deal with Iran to end their
nuclear weapons program. A massive investment deal was just signed
maybe five minutes ago in Saudi Arabia. And he's basically
now won the trade war with China, and he just
(11:14):
signed a trade deal with the United Kingdom, one of
the biggest in the history of the world. That's going
to open up Great Britain to our cars, are manufacturing
our products, our automobile industry. They're killing cair Starmer, the
British Prime Minister in the British press, the British media
(11:37):
is killing him, saying he gave away the store in
his negotiations with Trump and this is going to set
the framework, the basis for at least another two dozen
trade deals, winning, winning, winning, As Trump would say, that's
why the media wants to focus on displane, because you
(12:02):
if they focus on anything else, they know Trump's numbers
are going to go up and up and up. They're
not interested in reporting the facts or the truth. Their
job is to lie, lie, lie, and so as I
said earlier, and it bears repeating, you can't hate the
(12:23):
media enough. Jerry in New Hampshire. Thanks for holding Jerry,
and welcome.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
How do you do Jeff, Jerry, Yes, well, listen, yeah,
I know you have the presidency. You can't let him
get on that plane. They want to kill this guy.
You don't know what that plane could be. Someone could
call into the computer and they could shut that plane
down in mid flight. They could it could be rigged
to rig to crash. I mean, it isn't just that
(12:53):
they they want to kill the guy. There's a lot
of people that want to get rid of him. So
I mean, I know I wouldn't get out of play
about a boat thinks, all right, you can, you can
jump in the water and swim, but a plane, the
engines fall off. That's it. You're dead, or.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're completely right, or you just put a tracking device,
you know, on a plane, which now it's I mean,
they're so sophisticated. These things are so small, almost undetectable,
and you can monitor the president and the plane wherever
it goes. And that's another way to either you know,
blow up the plane or assassinate the president, or I mean,
(13:31):
you're asking for a world of trouble. You're completely right, Jerry.
That's why to me, as a matter of principle, you
don't take a plane from any country, never mind a
hostile country, an Islamist country, a country that funds and
supports terrorism and our mortal enemies Hamas al Qaeda. For
God's sake, the three thousand dead Americans on September and
(13:53):
on nine to eleven the Muslim Brotherhood. They bankrolled the
entire Muslim Brotherhood. So but to me, you don't take
a plane from an any country. No, it's got to
be made one hundred percent soup the nuts in America,
and it's got to be done in an area or
with the company with absolute pop security. And even then
(14:20):
you have your security people go through it again and
again and again and again. Jerry, am I wrong.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
That?
Speaker 3 (14:29):
There is another question I want to ask you. You
might you know more about this than I know. But
how come a price of gas has it's still up
around two seventy to eighty. I thought it might drop, uh,
you know, down around two and a quarter or something
like that. I'm just curious if you know anything.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
I know it's gonna come down even more. The reason
why it's you know, it's dropped quite a bit. I
was surprised yesterday, Jerry. I went to my local Cumberland
and I was about just under a quarter tank under
a big then needed seventy seventy five bucks under a
quarter tank to fill up, and so I just said,
(15:08):
you know, fifty dollars and I figured I'll get to
maybe three quarter tank and I'm fine for the week
A was full to the brim. I mean I got
to like forty nine bucks. And you know when you're
like you're it starts, you know, like automatically, you won't
pump the gas anymore.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
It's like.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
So I was just like, come on, I want to
get my I want to get to fifty. Come on,
come on, come on, get already prepaid. And I barely
made it to fifty, but it was full, full full.
He's gonna need a bill. It's gonna be part of
the big beautiful bill, which is not just gonna unleash
more drilling, which is key, but they also want to
unleash more processing and more pipelines. So once they get
(15:50):
that past, Jerry, I think you're gonna see gas go down,
frankly to two bucks a gallon. And once gas goes
down to two bucks a gallon, inflation is going to
up like a stone. So that's why Trump keeps saying,
hang on, it's only going to get better and better
and better. And I agree with him. So, Jerry, by
(16:11):
about the fall, I think you're going to see gas
at two thirty to forty two and a quarter six
one seven two six x sixty eight sixty eight is
the number you can text us seven zero four seven zero.
This is from six one seven and sixty one seven
makes an absolutely brilliant and I mean brilliant, just ingenious point, Jeff.
(16:38):
For weeks now we have been told that Cutter is
funding the riots, the anti Semitic riots and protests at
college campuses all across the United States, and now all
of a sudden there's there's no mention of any of this.
(17:02):
When they want to gift us a super aircraft, you
know what, that is a great point sixty one seven.
So you know why would we want to take, you know,
a plane from not just a bunch of jew hating
anti Semites, but from literally a regime that is funding chaos, hatred,
(17:24):
and terrorism on universities and college campuses. Six one seven
two six six sixty eight sixty eight agree, disagree. Norman
in the great state of Rhode Island. Thanks for holding Norman,
and welcome.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
How are you doing, sir?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Very good? How are you, Norman?
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Oh, I'm doing great, But I don't know. I may
be getting tired of winning.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
I'm just thinking about it. Here I'm taking a car
with my wife, and we're laughing about it. And I'll
tell you the plane. The plane comment made me laugh
so hard. But you know, you get the hide all
the winning that Trump is having. But a couple of
things I wanted to talk about was I would not
take the plane from Cutter. I know a few people
were nervous about Trump getting on it. He's not going
(18:11):
to be able to get on until they retrofit that
entire aircraft, rip it apart, put in defensive capabilities, put
in new communications equipment so he can talk with the
military and cases of war. It's basically a flying command center.
So you're talking years. They have to get new jet engines.
You know, Ge Pratt Whinnie, we don't have those sitting
on the shelf. I work for Pratt Whinnie. Those angines
(18:32):
are not sitting on the shelf, so it takes time
to get them. But another thing I like to talk about.
Someone mentioned, you know, going to McDonald Douglas that haven't
been building aircraft. Well, unfortunately they went out of business
in the late nineties. They got bought out by Boeing
and also Lockheed Martin. They couldn't build on They don't
have the capabilities to build a large aircraft. There's really
(18:54):
only two airframe manufacturers in the world that can build
a large aircraft. It's Boeing and Airbus, So we definitely
want to stay with Boeing. So what I would do
if I was President Trump is I would invoke a
Defense Priority Allocation System requirements to say you have to
put all your efforts into building these aircraft, and I
(19:14):
want them buy a certain date, and you've got to
put all your priorities on it. So I think we
have opportunities to improve the delivery date on those aircraft
if we put people into their facility and see what
they're doing to build that aircraft.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Norman, you obviously know what you're talking about. I mean,
you're almost seem like an expert on the topic. I
don't want to get into bogged down into too long
a discussion on this because I don't want to get
into the weeds. But just very very quickly, Norman, what
is wrong with Boeing? What has happened? They had a
target date of twenty twenty four, contract was signed twenty eighteen.
(19:54):
They're saying you're lucky if you get an air Force
one plane by twenty twenty seven, most likely by twenty twenty, Norman,
what the hell is going on at Boeing.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Walked an RSUMBI floor a couple of times and years
ago when they were a premier aircraft manufacturer. I think
it's a couple of things. One is THEI I think
that has hurt many of the major companies today. They
put people in positions who really, you know, they're good people,
but they don't have the capability to make the decisions
to run the company the way it should be run.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
That's one.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Number Two is somebody brought it up is that, you know,
Trump may have negotiated too good of a deal, and
they're saying, hey, they're already losing a billion dollars or
so on these aircraft, and they're saying, I'm not gonna
put my efforts into building these because I always say
to my suppliers, I'm gonna build what's gonna make me money.
So why would they put the effort at the building
(20:48):
this aircraft if they're losing their shirts on it. So
I think that's the two things in my mind that
have affected the delivery data on these aircraft.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Norman, have you ever called a show before, No, sir,
this is my first time Norman, Norman, please don't be
a stranger, buddy. This was an outstanding call. I'm telling you,
it's like the perfect exclamation point to end the show with.
So please, Norman, don't be a stranger. Call again. Okay,
(21:20):
thank you very much for that call, Norman. Look, big
news coming out of the Middle East. They just signed
a huge investment deal. Trump now wants to anchor Saudi
Arabia and Israel.
