A partir hoy 2 de julio entra en vigor el acuerdo para la creación de la Agencia de Investigación del Delito de Maltrato Animal o Crueldad Animal en la Ciudad de México.
Este nuevo organismo tendrá la responsabilidad de investigar delitos previstos en el Código Penal local, tales como lesiones, maltrato o crueldad hacia animales, acciones que provoquen su muerte con dolo, así como la organización o financiamiento de espacios destinados al sacrificio de animales sin autorización oficial o su uso con fines sexuales.
