up to in the last see what have I been
up to?
Speaker 3 (06:27):
I have been up to just hanging out and just
doing what I can do. Last weekend, had a good weekend, Terry.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
One of the weekends I was able to go back
to my eld Mamata Rust College.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Wow, Holly Springs, awesome, Mississippi.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
I was asked to interview doctor Michael Eric Dyson, the author,
and he's a minister, and so he was their commencement
speaker on Sunday for graduation. And then that Saturday they
had an evening with doctor Michael Eric Dyson, and they
called and asked me would I interview him?
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So you always get those calls. Huh, people call you
to ask you to come and do do things. Yeah,
they do. They do a professional I appreciate that. Yeah,
I appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
So as as Sally Field said, Terry when she won
the Oscar, her first Oscar, you like me, You really
like me, So I guess they like me.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
They really liked me. You're consistent. That's right, Yeah, that's right. Yeah,
I know you. You have a question for me, so
I'm gonna ask it. Oh, So any surprises on last night.
I know he was gonna ask me that, So I
beat you to the punch this time. Beat you So
(07:53):
you're so smart? Any surprises.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
I'm looking at the list right now. I actually I
didn't pay attention. I mean, I should pay more attention
to the election cycles. And I used to actually really
be a big participant. I used to assist in running
particular campaigns. I've got it so far away from that now.
I'm just you know, I just I feel away because
I don't a lot of my friends and colleagues, they're
still on the ground doing the good work for the community.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
But I'm looking at the list here.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
This comes from Action News five, and folks, we're gonna
talk about cars, I promise you, yeah, But I want
to talk about this, the big topic in We got
to have a little chat.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
That's chit chat, that's right.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
So I'm looking at the Action five news results here,
and it says the election results are all tallied in
Shelby County and unofficial results are in Sheby County Commissioner
Michael Lowry claim victory for the mayor's primary on Tuesday night.
Let me see here, let me read this list out.
I think this is the accurate list. You correct me
(08:55):
if I'm wrong. It says for Shelby County Commissioner District five,
that's gonna be Shine is it? Chante event Avante? Shelby
County Commissioner District seven is going to be Henry E.
Brooks Shelby County Commissioner for District H. District eight, Brother,
it's gonna be Will Richardson.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I know that guy. As a matter of fact, I
know him. I've interviewed him.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Therefore, yes, Shelby County Commissioner District nine is going to
be Karen Streeter. Shelby County Commissioner for District ten is
going to be Leashanta Rudd. Shelby County Commissioner for District
twelve is going to be Erica Sugarman.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yeah she's coming back. Oh wow, yeah she was already.
She's coming back. And you mentioned Henry Brooks. Henry Brooks
is coming back, right.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Shelby County Commissioner for District thirteen it is going to
be Amber Garcia.
Speaker 7 (09:51):
Let me say this.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
I'm saying they're coming back, but they won the Democratic
primary because they're going to have to have another election
where they'll run again.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Republicans, I got you, okay, okay, okay, yeah, okay, let
me repeat this last one. For Chevy County Commissioner District thirteen.
It's going to be Amber hurt Garcia criminal court clerk.
It's going to be Joe Towns Junior. And I guess
you're making a good point. Oh, because this is all primary. Yeah,
it is all prime because we'll have another.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Election, your general election.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Yeah, so these people will be running against repub Democrats
and that's right, that's right. The people that ran this time,
they were buying for the seat to get that Democratics
or the Republican seat.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Okay, so this was the primary. Yeah yeah, criminal.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Look she was in second place. Oh yeah yeah, and
so that state representative Joe town.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, want to change jobs.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Wow, juvenile court clerk. That's going to be Janine Gordon,
our girl who worked here state. That's right, and her
there was Janus that's right. Is jan matter of fact?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
When she got that position, her mother had the position,
then she ran for the position.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Jane, I love it. Yeah, I got two more misbells. Okay,
so we got probate court clerk. It's gonna be Eddie Jones.
I know Eddie very well. Eddie is already the probate
court clerk, okay, and for county clerk it's gonna be
Lasagna Hall.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
Yeay.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Why I'm saying yay yo.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
That's my sorah so you hear the name again, that's
my sorority Slster Delta Sigma Theta sorority in corporate.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
You know, you know one thing about running campaigns for people,
folks who have not uh tried or entertained or been
involved in a campaign.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
It's hard work. I'm sure it is.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Campaigns are really hard work. So far, all those who
out there who were in these campaigns, winners and those
who didn't meet the gold that you said, you know.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
And I like you said that meet to going always
try again. Yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
But just my head is off to you because I
know you have to endure a lot of you know,
here's a point, miss Bev. I can I recall when
I was on the ground assistant with campaigns Marily Harris
when he ran for his first city council seat. I
was his campaign manager. And you when you running campaigns,
you grow a thick skin.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
You have to to survive.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
You do, you really do you really have to because
because when you're in those campaigns, you know, before you
start your campaign for my recollection, everybody's your friend. Yeah,
when you make a decisions to support a particular candidate,
people who are your friends, you know, they start giving
you a side eye.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
And that's just a part of the game.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
That so for those who who've got you know, maybe
got your feelings heard through the process, it's just a
part of it's the nature of the game.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Don't take it personal. It's really just business.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
I tell the some of the young folks that I mentored,
you know, going through life, there's a few courses you
can take, courses not not like a school course, but
two different paths you can take that can teach you
some things about life. And of course going to college
is a path that you can take. Joining the military
is a path that you can take. Traveling the world,
(13:15):
and you know, I love to travel because it's a
good teacher when you travel the world. So traveling is
a good teacher. And my fourth one here, get involved
in a campaign, you gonna you're gonna get taught a
few lessons you run a campaign, so so so I
love it. So for all those out there, who've running campaigns.
You're out there at the at the voting UH stations,
(13:37):
trying to garner support for your candidate. My head is
off to you. It's a tough it's a tough, tough
road to travel to. It's a lot of work.
Speaker 6 (13:46):
So I know it.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
I I'm just leaning on it because I know there's
a lot of folks that are not happy with the outcomes.
But just get behind the the folks who got the
primary endorsement. Get behind those folks.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
And hey, but you need to vote because will have
another election and these people will the Democrats will run
against the rest.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
So we'll say this.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
But it was interesting. I wasn't surprised about anything. I
was surprised that she did very well, doctor Marie Fakes.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, she did well. It was all
in my Facebook. She came in third running for county mayor.
So again people like her so and that was surprised
(14:30):
to me that she came in third.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
But it was good. It was good.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
And I'm gonna we're gonna talk automobiles. We're not talking
to any voting. Terry and I are chit chatting. But Terry,
I laughed at I when I went to the post
because I always do early. And the day that I
went Terry. Usually you have the campaign.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Workers giving you the literature and stuff.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
So when I went in, I was, you know, they
recognized me when I'm outside, and I said, I don't
want any literature.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
I know who I'm vote for.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
But all of a sudden, Tarry, I saw the candidates
running out of I said, this is the first time
I had ever seen all these candidates out right.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
And when one was talking to me and then they
figured out who I was here, they come here, they
and you know what I said to them. I said,
I'm voting for all y'all. They laughed that, they said, yeah, okay.
I said, no, I'm voting for all y'all. And I
strutted my tail on into the polling place. But I
(15:34):
couldn't believe it. I had never seen that before, that
they would all be there. I could usually you will
see that on the day on election day, but early voting,
I had never I mean, the sheriff folks was there
that the people running for sheriff, the people running from
mayor people.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
I looked around them, calling.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Huh, but but but but they was out trying to
get your vote, and I get it. I get it,
but I did vote, and I'll say this, some of
the folks I voted.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
For did win. Awesome, so they did.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
So you know, I can't tell people who I vote for,
and I can't say on the air. As broadcasters, we
can't tell you who you vote for. And I don't
tell people who I vote. That's right, somebody, come on,
who you vote?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
You don't ask me that question? Who would I vote for?
Speaker 4 (16:29):
That's just like a Terry, how much money you got
in your bank account? As Lady D would say, where
did they do that at? I know?
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Okay, Terry is here, Terry, I want you to start
anything else.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
I got two more little topics. It's going to cars, okay.
The next one is I just want to get your
thoughts straight of horror moves. We're ten weeks in. Do
you see an end of that coming? With your opinion
about that straight UPRT moves? The order see that we're
gonna be fighting for a while.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah, because because Terry, the Trump administration, they do not
know what the hell they're doing. Presidents saying one thing,
got defense, They they don't. They are not together, they
don't know what the hell is going on.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
They don't, and that's you ask my opinion, And they
don't know what's going on.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
He has messed us up, and especially messed me up
when we're paying for this gas.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
And you know my little cars. I put some gas.
It was four dollars. I got the cheap one. It
was a four point one eight nine.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
I think.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Man, anyway, they don't know what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
They just well Trump says it's gonna hurt for a while,
but in the long run. Yeah, okay, lord, let me
see twenty eight hope out here to beat. I would
definitely be in the Poland play. If there's rain, snow, sleep,
I will be there.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
But tru I'm not running intoy eight.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Well that's okay, But he got his cronies. That's on
me trying to run. You're are funny bar bells. Expressions
of man, I should have my camera just taking pictures.
I win some awards, some magazine awards with them. Expressions
oh loryd one on.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
The topic, before we get into cars, anything else on
the on you get okay, okay, one more topic. A
week ago Sunday, I went to go and watch the
movie The Mike Michael Mike Michael Jackson.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Did you see it? You haven't seen it? Interesting enough?
And I hope he's listening. He should be, Prince Charles,
it's interesting.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
I was.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I went to watch it in Huntsville with friends. Oh,
Huntsville is a beautiful town. It is.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
It is so Prince had no idea because I hadn't
talked to him in a while. But he called me
about an hour before I was going to I was
at the hotel room getting ready to watch getting prepared
to watch the movie, and he called me.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
We were talking.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
He was calling me about car he was interested in
or thinking about, or just wanted me to see if
I can find something that's out there or just a
classic kind of car. But anyway, I says, well, Prince
charleser can't talk long because I'm getting ready to go
and watch the movie, the Michael, the Michael Jackson movie.
And I think he's already called in and gave his
opinion about this. As a matter of fact, I'm sure
that he did, but Prince didn't. He said he didn't
(19:20):
like the movie at all. Yeah, he said that.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
He said, Yeah, we're having open conversation with David. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
So I hope he's listening because I told him I
was going to get on the air and say this.
So I went and I went to watch the movie,
and my expectations for a good fel was really low.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
He had just gave me that I just he said,
I watched it was no good and you know, da
da da. I watched the movie.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Now I'm in the movie theater, surrounded by Michael Jackson's fans,
and I'm in the center of the theater, and I'm
feeling all this great energy in Jaafari. Jackson, in my opinion,
did a fantastic job in his performance, and it was
kind of a you know, you're getting a show too,
because they're playing sets, they're playing some of his music,
and so in my opinion, everybody.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Did very well in their acting.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
So I in the middle of the theater. I remember
saying my friends. My friend of mine, Prince Charles called
me and said, movie sucks. I can't wait to get
back And called him and said, Prince, what was you watching?
Because right loved it, and and and the people that
I've talked to that it would have gone to see it.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
They loved it.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
And the boss office the only one is like, I
don't know what I'm not to call him after the
I don't know what what Prince did like about it.
But I have said I but but but the people
that have gone to see it, they say they loved it.
It was fabulous.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
I let me see, let me see if I can
pull it up. I think, Michael box Off, I think
that from what I've gathered, I could be wrong. I
believe the people who saw this say they didn't like it.
I didn't watch American Dream the other microcracks. I didn't
watch it. So there's a lot of information in that
movie from what I've gathered, that they're saying. They're doing
the same thing in this movie. So when they were
saying that Jermaine Jackson stayed on with Motown after the
(21:00):
other brothers left, that was news to me.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
And he married Barry Gordon's dawn, I knew that, yeah,
but that was news to me.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
When they told when they showed the scene where Don
King was talking with Joe Jackson, I didn't know they
had a relationship.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
That was news to me.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
But according to the really strong Michael Jackson's fans, that
was already said in some previous movies. But I didn't
watch the previous movie, so all that. So look at
the so it says the Michael biopic has grossed over.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Four hundred and thirty million.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Dollars worldwide as early as this month, good after record breaking. Okay, yeah,
so the box office is speaking and people are like
it and people like it, and I.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Think for those who didn't like it, they wanted to
see Terry the negativity and I'm glad they didn't put
all that in there. Well, you know, maybe the next
movie there do they you know, don't want to you know,
you have something positive, Beth.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
They actually filmed that. I don't know if you know.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I read that they had filmed one of the country
verses with one of the kids and it got back
to somebody, but they said, you know, we the Jackson's,
Michael Jackson's and his attorneys sound signed some forms that
said you can never you could never talk about this
particular kid.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Good.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
So all that they had filmed, they had to go
back and refilm it, refilmed the ending good So they
couldn't They wanted to put it out there because what
they were gonna do is they were gonna project. They
were going to tell the whole story and try to
tell the public in general that Michael was not this
kid monster that he was painting it out to be.
But they couldn't talk about it, and I'm sure they
really wanted to. But the production, you know, I look
(22:38):
at the production, the camera work.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
It was great.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
Good.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Ja'afari did very good. I just Prince Charles, we got
to talk again. Now we have to do a little
counseling section session. I don't know what you watch.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
So, yeah, I understand that young man was good. And
yeah he did. He did justice to his uncle.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
He did.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
He did a really good job. All right, all right,
we're gonna talk, car.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Car.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
I always appreciate those little ketchup sessions, like I like
how we chich That's right.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
We're human were you know? I, me and you always
chatting over the break, so we're just right on air too, exactly.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
That's right.
Speaker 6 (23:12):
All right.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
So before we get to the first break, let me
give you a couple of the topics we're going to discuss. Oh,
by the way, in case I miss it, Doctor Warren Harper,
happy birthday. That's a good brother.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
He is a good brother.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Doctor Harper has come over to visit with me at
the Sunrise store and barlet on two occasions. He's purchased
two cars. He is a I know you know he's
a smart guy. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm dealing with him
with the car. He's a sharp, sharp, sharp guy. So, brother,
doctor Warren Harper, happy birthday where you're turning fifty one
(23:51):
fifty two? I'm not sure, but anyway, I'm sure you're
going to celebrate really strong. And his birthday was yes, yesterday,
so yeah, happy birthday time.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I'm sure he did.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
He did.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
Yeah, glad he's he's I'm sure, doctor Harper say, I'm
glad to be in the land of I know.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
That's right, good brother.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Okay, uh, let me before I get going, let me
give my my shoutout, so super high salute to all
of our police officers.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
I really, really highly respect all police officers. Sometimes we
tend to forget how dangerous their jobs can be. I know,
we will get a speeding ticket, and I got one,
you know last year I got to dismiss thank god,
but we get a speeding ticket.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
We're mad about it. They're just doing their job. But
more than.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Speeding tickets, police officers they have they have. They have
a dangerous job. As you can see what happened. We
could go at the at that Washington where the president
was where the guy ran through the the security thing
and shot, yeah, and shot the uh the the police officer,
I mean point blank range, and I thank god he
(24:55):
had the vest on. So anyway, high salute to all
of our police officers. You do a fine job, and
we thank you so much for that. High salutes all
of our firefighters, all those who are serving in the military,
those who are active, none active, We thank you for
your service.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Because freedom there's a cost for it. It's not free.
Of course, there's.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Money that's paid for weapons, and of course there's blood
that's shed. So we thank you so much for all
those who have served, those who are serving, and for
those who are about to serve. So thank you so
much for that. Okay, so a few of the topics today.
A couple of topics today.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
I have a truck. If you're looking to.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Buy yourself a truck, I have a truck right now
where you can save over eleven thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Eleven thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
So again, I'm located at the Sunrise store in bartlet
On Highway sixty four, eighty five hundred Highway sixty four.
I'm going to talk about that truck here sometime after
the break. Also mis bev if you're looking for I
know people are always looking for a cheap car. When
I said cheap car, you know, when someone calls me
(26:08):
and they say, I'm looking for a two three thousand
dollars car, I'm gonna have that kind of car that's
two three thousand dollars, and other dealers are gonna have
a two three thousand dollars car. But let me give you,
and I always tell people this, if I have a
car and it's that cheap, it's got a problem or two,
maybe three or four. It's not gonna be a car
(26:29):
you can buy and it's gonna be problem free. It's
gonna have an issue. And for those cars that are
that cheap, I would only entertain a conversation with someone
who's mechanically inclined or someone who's with them is mechanically inclined,
because what will happen is you'll buy this two three
thousand dollars car with over one hundred thousand miles and
(26:52):
the next and sometimes when people drive right off the lot,
something will happen.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
I don't want you to have to deal with that.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
I will try to say, well, if you've got two
of three thousand dollars, maybe I know, and I know
sometimes people will push back on trying to finance, but
I will just give the conversation. Instead of investing two
or three thousand dollars on a car, you're going to
spend another two or three thousand dollars fixing on.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Why don't you just finance it?
Speaker 1 (27:13):
But anyway, saying that I have a friend of mine,
I have not met him in person. We've talked a
few times over the telephone. He has given me permission
to say his name, and I will give out of
his information when I start talking more about the car.
He has a nineteen ninety nine Lincoln town car that runs,
(27:35):
nothing is wrong with it.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
I have the car facts.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
I'm gonna give you his telephone number. But if you're
looking for a cheap car for sale, buy an owner.
And I tell people too, if you want to find
a really good cheap car, you have to find someone
who's just selling one themselves. And if you're listening, if
you're listening right now, and you have a car that
you want to sell. I like, that's the sort of
(28:00):
kind of that miss BEV. When some one wants to
sell a car and I talk about it over the air.
Mister Simmons did allow. He sent me the ven number.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
I pull the carfax, I have pictures.
Speaker 7 (28:10):
Of the car.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
And before I even start talking about the car, if
you want to see photographs of it, I did post
the photographs on my Facebook page. Go to Terry Spicer
on Facebook if we're not friends or connected already. When
you type in Terry Spice in the Facebook search bar,
you'll see several Terry Spicers. I have on a blue suit.
(28:33):
I'm standing in Times Square in New York in a
blue suit when actually I'm walking towards Times Square actually
and on that particular photograph. But go to Terry Spicer,
Terry Spicer with a blue suit, and you will see
the first post the nineteen ninety nine Lincoln Town Car.
We're gonna talk about what he's gonna ask for it,
and I'll go with the car facts to you with
you sometime.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
After the break.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
So again, if you're looking for a cheap car, stay tuned.
If you want to sell a cheap car, Hey, do
me a favor.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Go to my Facebook wall and post one or two
pictures in the comments on that post. I'll see it.
I'll talk about it for you.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
But again, when I really want to try to get
the listeners engaged, I do want to at least pull
the car facts for the listeners, save you a little
bit of a hassle. So we'll have a little bit
of a history report. Plus I want to vet the
person that's selling it, mister Eric Simmons.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
He's up.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
He looks young, but he's like a senior citizen. He's
an older guy and he just wants to go ahead
and sell the car. Let me move forward here. So
another topic we're gonna talk about after the break. I
have another If you're interested in a pickup truck, here's
another special here. If you're looking for a new truck,
check this out. Mispell Okay, you can come by the
(29:45):
dealership today, as an example, buy this truck and your
first payment will not be due until after Labor Day. Whoa,
that's the whole summer. You can buy this truck. The
payment won't be due until after sep Timber the seventh.
Now you do have to be qualified. You have to
qualify for this, but we'll talk about that too shortly
(30:06):
after the break and another little topic here we'll get
into I'm gonna talk about we're heading into the hot
summer months. We're gonna go over a few tips that
you can do to help protect your car before this
heats the heat starts to tackle your card and cause
it problems. Miss Bell, how much time before that first break?
Speaker 3 (30:23):
It's the first break is now.
Speaker 4 (30:26):
Awesome, Terry, the break is now If you've just tuned
in this day, we are talking with our automotive specialists,
Terry Spicer, the man with the plan it can help
you get an automobile. And a sister called last week
and I told her Terry to wait for you because
(30:46):
she was looking for a particular car. So I hope
she calls in today and as she's listening, so you
can call in at nine zero one five three, five,
nine three four to two eight hundred by zero three
nine three four two eight three three five three five
nine three four two.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Will get you in to us. You're listening to the
heart and soul of members.
Speaker 6 (31:15):
W d I A.
Speaker 7 (31:23):
Don't go away. The Bev Johnson Show returns after these messages.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
Just keep the.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Around Enough Show. Good morning and welcome back to the
heart and soul of Memphis. W d I A.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
We are talking with our automotive specialist. Terry Spicer is
in the house. Before you began, Terry Da Sesta has
called in to talk with you.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
Good morning, sister.
Speaker 5 (32:52):
Good morning, be good morning, Terry.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
Are you all doing well?
Speaker 4 (32:56):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (32:58):
I'm doing all right?
Speaker 3 (32:59):
Thank you, and thank you for listening, and thank you
for calling back.
Speaker 5 (33:04):
For sure, for sure, I've been a long term car
seeker because I'm visiting Memphis and have gone through looking
at lots of cars, the cash cars. I don't want
to have a note, but just trying to find something
reliable A to B back to A and then I
(33:27):
love it B and you know, something something reliable because
the rental cars are too expensive.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Yes, yes, oh my god. And let me pause for
a second and let me add this. So she's on
my shadow list. Well, I'm not going to say her
name here because I didn't give permission to go into
this detail. But I have a customer that recently bought
a car last week and she was spending two fifty
three fifty a week for a rental and she's been
(33:55):
doing that, she's been doing that for a while.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
Interesting enough, we got approved on a cary came back
at seven point fifty and that's cheaper. I mean, she
didn't have a credit score. Her credit score was zero,
but thank god she got approved with zero down. First
payment was due in forty five days and a payment
came back at seven fifty. And the reason why she
had a zero score is because she had she wasn't
(34:17):
financing anything. I always tell folks, you know, when it's
time to buy a car, it's always a good idea
to have a credit score, have you know? And again
I'm gonna call your sister, cause that's what Bill has
been calling you. It's good to have a score, especially
when the time of need comes. And someone says it's
kind of a vicious cycle, and it is if you
look at it that way. But when you go to
(34:38):
buy a car, a house, or anything that's that's kind
of expensive, it's good to be able to finance it.
And they do that based on your credit and the
only way that they can figure out how you may
pay is looking at your history. So if you've had
a credit card for ten twenty years and you've paid
it on time, nine times out of ten, you're gonna
get approved with a good credit score. But I'm going
way off the subject because you didn't call for that.
(34:59):
You call about cash car, and let's talk about that.
What's your your budget, sister? Well, how much are you
trying to spend for your cash car? So you know
people who are not in the car business, and I
always take the time to explain it because it's interesting.
I'm not in the I'm not in the home buying business,
(35:19):
you know. And if someone said to me if I
wanted to buy a half a million dollar house, will
my monthly no B Because I'm not in that business.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
I have to go and look it up.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
But here's a good rule of thumb before I answer
your question, sister. The rule of thumb is when you're
going to finance a car, every ten thousand dollars you finance,
the payment is roughly two hundred dollars a month, which
means a fifteen thousand on a car on average, to
payment will be three hundred dollars a month. So let
me just I'm giving that to you, sister, and the
(35:49):
listeners for information. So they I like to always come
on the show and provide value. So in your situation,
when someone says they want to pay cash, they usually
are always talking something under five thousand, and preferably they're
speaking about twenty five hundred or three thousand dollars. Is
that am I sort of counter in the ballpark? Are
(36:10):
you thinking something.
Speaker 7 (36:11):
Less or more?
Speaker 5 (36:14):
Well, it depends on how many miles are on it,
and that's that's the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Well, I'll tell you what I'm gonna do.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
You're gonna go ahead and force me to go ahead
and talk about Now, are you familiar with a Lincoln
town Car?
Speaker 8 (36:27):
I am?
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Okay. Are you on Facebook?
Speaker 5 (36:32):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Well, if you can go to go to my Facebook wall.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
As a matter of fact, while I over the break,
someone else messaged me about a car a Lexus that
they want to see. So I'm gonna talk about that also.
But I have a Lincoln. Me fine, let me get
my car facts here. So, mister Eric Simmons we talked
about three weeks ago and we talked again yesterday. He
has a nineteen ninety nine Lincoln town Car.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
I have the car facts.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
There are three owners on this car, Miss sister U.
The first I was a corporate car. First and then
it became personal cars. It's in Tennessee. I do notice
on the car facts, and I'll provide this car fax
for anyone who's interested. Looks like there was at least
a couple fender benders, but it doesn't look like it's
the accident reported with another vehicle. Damage to the front,
(37:22):
damage to the right front, functional damage. Airbags didn't deploy
for that one. Hold on, just second, sister, let me
look at something. I hadn't actually thoroughly went through this
car fact yet. Yeah, that looks like it was just
a couple of little fenderbinders and airbags didn't deploy.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
He said.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
He's actually put actually how many miles on the car?
He says, the old Dame reads one seventy He said, no,
he's estimating it about one hundred and seventy five thousand
miles because in twenty ten he put a eighty thousand
mile engine in it and he said it runs great.
Now he is asking miss sister, he's asking forty five
(37:58):
hundred or check this out. He's asking forty five hundred
or best price. What that means is he's motivated to
sell the car. So uh, let me let me and
I asked him. I says, it okay for me to
give your number out because folks are gonna call you.
Are you ready to write this number down?
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Yes, okay. His name is uh mister Eric E.
Speaker 6 (38:20):
R I C.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Mister Eric Simmons.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
His telephone number is gonna be nine zero one five
seven zero one five eight eight. One more time nine
zero one five seven zero one five eight eight. Mister
Simmons says, well, missus spice, I appreciate you doing that
over the air for me. How much do I owe you?
(38:45):
I said, you owe me a story. What I mean
by that is whoever buys the car. I want to
hear the story so I can share that story on
the next on the next program. So mss sister, you
call him and let him you know. I always tell
folks if you're feeling a way you don't really know
people of the person, you can always plan a meet.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Up at a police station.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
That's always a good secure spot, you know, matter of fact,
go inside the police station, take them some donuts. Say
I'm gonna meet somebody. I'm gonna look at his car,
and that way you're safe and secure. You may Eric
is a senior citizen guy he's married.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
He may be a guy.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
You may be just as pop by his house. But whatever,
whichever way, you feel comfortable. And I always say that,
especially if I was talking to you as if you
were my aunty, I would say, Auntie, just go by
the nearest police station. Take them some donuts, tell them
what you're doing. Let them bring the car by you
look at it and inspect it, you know, if that's
what you want to do. But I'm giving you a
lot of information, sister, Am I am? I okay with
(39:38):
what I'm giving you. I have one more to give
you too, if you if you're still standing by, okay, good, Okay,
let me while I got you here, sister, because I'm
sure the question that you're asking. Matter of fact, I
know the question you're asking because I get calls about
it every day. There's another young lady and I don't
I don't know her at all, So this is my
(39:58):
first interaction with she's listening. She has sent me a
photograph of her.
Speaker 6 (40:04):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
She has a Lexus of two thousand and six, Lexus
GS three hundred. It has the peanut butter inside. It's
red on the outside. She says, the right window comes down.
I guess there's something with the right window needs to
be She says, it needs a battery. But I don't
know anything about this car. I'm gonna need to get
a car effects before I talk more about it. But
(40:25):
I don't have a see on let me see I
don't have a contact information for it.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
But anyway, sister, go with that for now.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Let me know you have uh, let me give you
my telephone number two because I want you to tell
me what's happening with you and mister Simmons. I want
to track that story. You're ready to write my telephone
number down. That number is gonna be nine zero one
six seven to.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
Two four four two two.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
You're looking for a good, cheap car a lot of times,
don't get me wrong. I would love to sell you
something at my dealership. But here's the thing with the dealerships.
I'm really transparent. I think that's a part of the
reason why people send people to me, and people always
come back and visit with me, because I just tell
you what it is. When you buy a car from
a dealership, you're gonna always pay the price of the
(41:12):
car plus taxes and fees. The thing you get when
you buy from a just a person selling their car.
You just pay them the asking price, they sign a
title over to you, and you go about your way.
It's a little bit easier for a transaction. Any questions,
any other questions for me, sister before we hang up, Well, what.
Speaker 5 (41:31):
About moving from another state to Tennessee and getting all
the registration and everything together. That's what I'm looking into.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
You say, you're you're moving to Tennessee or you're moving
out of Tennessee too. You're moving to Tennessee, Okay, and
you're going to be buying the car and it's going
to be registered in Tennessee.
Speaker 5 (41:53):
Yes, I think so that's the plan.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Yeah, well you're good to go. He's gonna on the
back of that title. He's gonna sign his name on
the title. You're gonna take it down and get the
get the car rerested in your name. It should be
no problems with that, Okay, Okay, but do me a favorite, sister,
call me and keep me updated on the story. And
if you and for some reason, if that doesn't work
(42:18):
out for you, you can still visit with me and
I can see what I can work out for you.
Because there there are other avenues that we can work
out for you. Are you working right now, sister semi retired?
That's a blessing that you that you got to that.
That's awesome. That's awesome. Look keep my number, let's stay
in touch. I want to track your story. I don't
have to say your name if you don't want me to,
but I definitely want to track that story.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
I appreciate you, Thank you, I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
All right, thank you, thank you for listening.
Speaker 5 (42:45):
Bye, thank you bye.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
Yeah, yeah you can help.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
Yeah yeah, let me read this here on what hey,
So the lady that just sent me the picture of
this this lexus, I don't have enough information to really
go into it. You don't have to send me. Kindly
send me the VEN number. We'll talk sometime. Also, because
I don't have enough information to talk about it over
the air, I like to have a little information about
the car.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
So let's move on here.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Let me give a few shout outs and BIV if
you don't mind, I want to give a super high
salute to my new friends, mister George Stewart. He came
by and bought himself a brand new Buick Encore GX.
Thank you could have went anywhere to buy that vehicle,
and I sincerely appreciate you. Sean and Stacy McCutcheon. They
actually Sean actually works at the dealership, but he wanted
to work with me because he knows that I'm a
straightforward guy.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
I'm gonna make.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Sure you get the best deal. Big high salute to
Andrea Rogers and Regina Scott. Andrea and Regina, they bought
themselves the Kia Soul, So thank you so much for
allowing me to serve you all. Big shout out to
Sharon Thompson and big shout out to her mom, a sweetheart, Josephine.
(43:52):

may have badgered that, but God bless you.
Speaker 7 (43:57):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
Well, but they came out and get they got them
sere as a brand new Buick and Vista one more before.
I don't want to put any of my seniors to sleep.
Big shout out to my friend Daniel Howard. That guy's
strong works for He's just a real smooth operator, real cool,
calm and collected. He could have went anywhere in the
(44:19):
city of Memphis, but he loves him from BEB Johnson.
He loves the WDA radio broadcast, and he trusted me
to be able to serve him. He bought a vehicle
for his wife, a surprise vehicle. He bought her a
Chevrolet Trailblazer as a surprise gift. So thank you, mister Howard.
Miss we have anything before I move on?
Speaker 3 (44:37):
Move on, brother, all right. So let's go into a
couple of the topics here. All right.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
So for my guys, my truck guys, you want to
save some money on your next pickup truck, I want
you to check out what we have going on at
Sunrise at wolf Chase and Bartlett General Motors to be exactly, GMC,
to be more specific, the twenty twenty six GMC Sierra
(45:06):
fifteen hundred, the elevation crew cab with a Turbomax engine.
Right now, in this truck, you can get one of
two things. Either zero percent financing, which means you pay
no interests. You can finance this vehicle for up to
seventy two months zero percent. I'm gonna make for sure
(45:30):
it's seventy two because I don't see that fine print.
But what sixty months or seventy two months? I I
don't have to find that detail for you. But zero percent,
or you can get eleven thousand, up to eleven thousand,
five hundred and forty nine dollars off the price of
the truck by simply trading in what they call it's
a trade in incentive. You trade in a vehicle, a
(45:52):
twenty twelve, a newer GM or none GM vehicle, and
General Motors is going to incentivize you to do that
by providing you up to eleven one thousand, five hundred
and forty nine dollars and you're saved in your pocket.
So if you're looking for a really good deal on
a pickup truck, I want you to check out my
website at Sunrise at Wolfchase, Sunrise at Wolfchase dot com,
(46:14):
and I'm gonna work on saving you some big money.
One more thing on the truck since we're on it. Here,
they also have another special here. Let me make sure
I read this. Oh, as a matter of fact, I'm
missing the big headliner here my apology.
Speaker 4 (46:28):
Here.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Let's see here, hold on second, miss ball. Okay, we
don't want the Okay, so check this truck here. Here,
here's a truck.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
This is the one that I mentioned to where the
first payment wouldn't be due until after labor Day, that's
after September. The seventh General Motors or GMC to be specific,
the twenty twenty six Gmccerra fifteen hundred right now, with
a well qualified buyer can be approved for a rate
(46:59):
as low as two point nine percent for seventy two months,
and that first payment would not be due until after
labor day. So go to my website, and you go
to my website, you'll you can see all the trucks
and it tells you exactly how much money comes off
and exactly how low that rate can be. Go to
Sunrise at wolf Chase, Sunrise at Wolfchase dot com, and
(47:25):
let's see how much money we can save our truck
folks out there, and big high school for all those
truck drivers out there. Miss Bell, if you have a
big truck driver following, oh they on the road, listen

need to go by that. Brother. Tell them, Tell them
I said I sent you. That's right, Bell says, I

Speaker 4 (53:45):
No, don't add anything, to add anything to Just say
Bev Johnson, don't add anything else.
Speaker 3 (53:53):
You mean, I can't say she said give me some

Don't add nothing to its going in there adding stuff.
Speaker 3 (54:19):
You know how we do, Miss Bell. I know how y'all.
I know how y'all do. I know how y'all do.
Speaker 4 (54:26):
Before you start, Terryce Man, let me get this phone
a call.
Speaker 3 (54:30):
Thank you, caller, high caller.
Speaker 6 (54:33):
Good afternoon to every one of you today.
Speaker 3 (54:36):
Hey Carl, how are you? I am?
Speaker 6 (54:39):
Sign? I am glad you had your guests in your
steal Dave Bill, because that's something I need to ask him.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
Okay, Terry Twicer, Okay.
Speaker 6 (54:51):
Mister Terry, Yes, how you doing? Call? I'll do it. Sign.
Look at that. I must be very popular. The reason
I'm saying that is I'm gonna do the advertisement anybody else.
I'm gonna call these two companies, ABC and the other
one DEES. They sent me a flyer in which they
(55:12):
want me to come in and do some matching. And
if I come in as I happened to match, I
can probably get me a car less than anywhere from
twenty fifteen on up and zero payment could be I
mean zero down on the car up to one thousand.
(55:34):
Now are these scams to get you in this car place?
When they realize that you may not care and make
the match and try to offer you another car that
are older than ten years from let me more, Yes, sir,
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
Let me answer that with this here call one of
the things that even our dealership does, and I'm sure
most all dealerships at least do this here. So when
we take our cars to get its service in the
service department, you'll sometimes get something in the mail that says,
we're looking whatever car it could be, whatever car you're driving,
we're looking for your twenty seventeen Toyota Corolla. We need
(56:11):
it in our inventory. We will give you a top
dollar for it when they send that to you. When
we send that to you, that's marketing. It's another way
to get you interested to stop buy the dealership. And yes,
they will buy that car from you, but they're what
they're hoping is that you will want to buy something
(56:33):
from them. Now, let me go back to your situation
to answer that question. If you got something, if you
got something in the mail from Company ABC and company DEEF,
they are marketing to you to get you to come
by the dealership. Because what happens called when people come
(56:53):
by the dealerships and they see these new, beautiful, shiny cars,
we tend to get emotional and we may say, we
may say I didn't really come here to do nothing
but what this flyer says. But I like the way
this shiny car looked. How much can I get this
car for? And that's what we're hoping for. We're hoping
that you come by the dealership, you find something that
(57:15):
you like, you get emotional about it, and then we
can start working up a deal.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
So they're not trying to scam you.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
They're trying to entice you to stop buy so that
you can buy something, so they can sell you something.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
So Carl, go ahead, Carl.
Speaker 6 (57:33):
So when they say I will for you paying zero
down to up to one thousand, that's still to enticement
to come on.
Speaker 1 (57:39):
Right, because your credit may be where it allows you
to do that. I had the lady I told you
about last week. She came in and bought a brand
new car. She has a zero credit score, but she's
an older lady, she's a senior lady. The only reason
she has a zero credit score is because she hadn't
financed anything since she The last time she bought a
car was from me back in twenty eighteen. That's the
(58:01):
car she paid off. When she paid it off, she
hadn't financed anything and when you don't finance anything car call,
your credit goes back to a zero score.
Speaker 3 (58:08):
But here's the point I'm going to make.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
I was still able to get her approved on a
brand new car with zero down. Now, let's say it's
an eighteen nineteen year old kid who has no credit,
has nothing in the bureaus. The bank will probably approve
that youngster, but they think said you need two or
three thousand dollars down. So no, it doesn't sound like
a scam, Carl. They're just trying to get you to
(58:31):
stop by so they can hopefully get you excited about.
Speaker 6 (58:33):
Something, and they gonna have a car looking not as
fined and.
Speaker 1 (58:37):
Pretty and shined up. Yep, and try to get you
emotionally tied into it.
Speaker 3 (58:41):
That's right.
Speaker 6 (58:43):
Oh and a question number two. You knew there are
some kids getting ready to restuate from college by that
time of the year.
Speaker 7 (58:49):
Yep.
Speaker 6 (58:51):
And let's say we got twenty four year old lady
who'd resuaated and she got a job, got a job,
but she had no money.
Speaker 3 (59:02):
Jerry, she has a job and no money.
Speaker 6 (59:04):
Okay, tell me what I'm saying, she's just getting started.
Speaker 3 (59:07):
That's what you need.
Speaker 6 (59:08):
Transportation, Yeah, can she still come into your place, yeah,
and say I have no money, yeah to put down
because I put in still tail cars from your company. Yeah,
so uh zero down.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
Yeah, let's let's let's take that. So let's say and
this happens.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
Actually, so when that happens, and since you brought this up,
let's go ahead and educate the population the memph of
the Sherby County listeners here or the worldwide w DI listens.
Speaker 6 (59:33):
Let me put it that way, especially people getting ready
to say the cause that's right.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
So I mean this summer, what happens a lot of
times when people come to the dealership almost I mean
eight out of ten people will say this. They say,
I want to buy. I don't want a new car,
I want something used. I want you to hear me out, Carl.
So when people say that, and we're gonna base it
off of this person you just paying this twenty four
(59:58):
year old young lady graduated from college, has a but
no money and just trying to get started. They they'll
come in and say they want a used car because
they know most of the time used cars are gonna
be cheaper than a new car. Okay, And what I'll
tell people is this here we can look at. I'm
gonna show you whatever you want to look at. If
(01:00:19):
you want to look at a Dodge Challenger with eighty
thousand miles on it, priced it twenty one thousand dollars,
and you want to try to get their car with
zero down, it may be a tough goal to do
that because to the bank, the bank is gonna be
looking what they call the book out sheets, and they're
gonna see this vehicle is likely out of its warranty
from the manufactur If it has eighty thousand miles on it,
(01:00:41):
it's a good chance the warranty is out. So the
bank knows if you buy this used car, you're gonna
have to buy warranty, and if you don't buy warranty,
you just high risks to the bank. What I'll tell
someone called in that situation, I would say, I'm gonna
show you everything you want to see on the used
car side, but let me also show you some new
car options. There's a reason why I want to show
(01:01:02):
you the new car options, mister call. Before I got
into the car business, I didn't pay attention to what
rebates and incentives were. Because I've been in the business
for over a decade. Now I know that you can
use those two items to your advantage. What I mean
by that is, for an example, right now, we have
(01:01:22):
what we have a buick Encore GX. Right now it
has a fifteen hundred dollars rebate.
Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Now, Carl, you may say, well, what is that and
why do why would I care?
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
Well, a fifteen one hundred dollars rebate on paper looks
like down payment. So if this twenty four year old
lady comes in that has a job, she has income,
but hasn't said enough money down, I'll say, let's go
and look at the new buick Encore GX with the
fifteen hundred dollars rebate, because that's your down payment. And
(01:01:56):
the bank knows that vehicle has covered the warrant is
covered by the manufacturer. They know that the manufacturer is
forwarding over fifteen hundred dollars to support the deal. So
the banks are highly invested to do that deal versus
a pre owned deal. Let me also give you one
other thing that you can verify for yourself. You may
(01:02:17):
see the price of a used car, yeah, maybe cheaper
than a new car, But what you're gonna find is
the used cars their rates are nine times out of
ten are gonna always be higher than a.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
New car interest rate.
Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
Go to your favorite credit union's website, or just pick
a credit union. Go to a Hope credit union dot com.
In a car you can verify this. You will see
the new car interest rate is gonna always be lower
than the used car interest rate. Go to any credit
union's website. Now you may say, what's Harry, What does
(01:02:53):
it have to do with me and this twenty four
year old girl who has a job of no money.
I'm trying to set her up for six sess you
have some sales ran You have some sales folks that
will sell someone a car that they can make their
money on. Now, believe this or not, a lot of
the sales folks most of us. And I'm actually I'm
(01:03:15):
not a salesperson, but I do operate like a salesperson.
But and I get paid a salary. So when someone
comes to visit with me, Carl, I'm my check is
gonna be the same every two weeks. But I try
to give people good advice. I'd like to set people
up for success. Because if you buy a car and
your your interest rate is twenty two percent and if
you were to pay that car off as subscribe as prescribe, brother,
(01:03:39):
if you, if you, if you pay it off as
it's it's it's written up sixty months or seventy two months,
you're gonna almost pay for two cars at that interest rate.
But if you go to a new car and you
can get yourself an incentivize interest rate, then you can
probably pay that car off and won't you won't get
hit to car. So let me also give you this
here car since we're on the subject, and thank you
(01:03:59):
for that great question. I tell folks a lot. If
you've financed a vehicle and the rate comes back at
twenty percent or somewhere thereabout, you don't want to pay
that car off. Here's the prescription that I provide, mister Carr.
If you buy a car the rate is twenty percent
somewhere in that neighborhood. You want to keep that car
for no more than twenty four months, between thirteen and
(01:04:23):
twenty four months. You need to do one of two
things between thirteen and twenty four months. And you may
say why thirteen months, Well, when you make the thirteenth payment,
twelve other payments one full year shows up in your
credit file and the banks can make decisions off of that.
I tell folks you either need to refinance it, and
(01:04:43):
you can refinance it in less than twelve months. Most
credit unions are going to have you require most of
them have a score of at least six hundred. You
get your score over six hundred, you need to either
refinance it to bring that rate down, or the sweet
spot where you can get the best deal is write
about eighteen months. A year and a half you trade out,
either refinance it number one or number two, trade out
(01:05:06):
into another new car with the rebate that can clean
up your negative equity so you can work on getting
your rate down. Most of us car when we go
buy cars, their interest rate is not something top of mind.
We only think about the interest rate when the payment
come back at one thousand dollars and you think it
was gonna be five and it's the rate plays a
(01:05:27):
huge part in that. So when my young people visit
with me, they thinking about the car and not so
much thinking about the rate yet. But I try to
set it up because I know what it's gonna happen
based on what I'm hearing now. Car, if you come
in with an eight hundred credit score. Hey, man, do
whatever you want because you're gonna probably get a good
rate whatever you buy a decent rate. Carl, we went
(01:05:47):
a little bit extended, and I thank you for being
a patient allowed me to get all that out.
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Any other questions, Well.
Speaker 6 (01:05:53):
Well, I want to say this to you too. I
appreciate what you said about that rebate, because you know, Terry,
when young people get our college, they won't get a
first car. The first thing they're thinking about, I want
this car is what on my mind is what I want?
But you just said a viewer, I forgot the right
(01:06:17):
where it's a nice car. Man. Then you explain to
that person hear how you can get this car as
a down payment where you don't have any money.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
That's right.
Speaker 6 (01:06:25):
And sometimes they don't listen. So I hope that what
we're doing today and they want to thank you again
and having here on your show, that some of these
young people who getting ready to leave college and go
into the real world work but need transportation, will follow
this advice so they won't get put in the whole
and then come ask mommy and daddy for help down
the road. That's right, that's what I'm looking at.
Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
That's awesome. That's right, all right, thank you, thank you
for that call. Very very good question.
Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
Right, y'all have a good day you too, car good question.
W d I a high caller.
Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
Doing today?
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
You calling to defend his honor?
Speaker 6 (01:07:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
No, no, no no, I'm messing with your Prince Joe.
Speaker 8 (01:07:11):
How you doing today? Bad?
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
I'm doing well in yourself.
Speaker 8 (01:07:15):
I can't complain things on top step. And there are
you doing today, sir.
Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Prince Charles, the man of the hour? I was talking
about you. Hope you was tuned in.
Speaker 8 (01:07:25):
I called it everything you said and Terry, let's let's
gets let's let's get it together. Okay, I just say
I didn't. I didn't say the movie was fad in
that fashion. I just said I just didn't enjoy the
movie as well as other people did. Yeah, that's just
just me. Yeah, yeah, it was entertaining. I'll give you
credit for that. It was entertaining.
Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 8 (01:07:47):
I'm gonna leave it at that. Then failed my expectations
of the movie well being bad.
Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
Over the break, we were wondering, what is that? What
is it that you were expecting to see and didn't see?
Speaker 8 (01:07:58):
Okay, excuse me me personally, a lot of the stuff
that they showed in the movie. Most of us who
grew up with Michael Jackson knew exactly what Michael had
to go through to go through, and I get that.
It wasn't very little that movie told me anything special
about Michael. That what he was going through.
Speaker 6 (01:08:17):
We knew this.
Speaker 8 (01:08:18):
So to me, I'm like, well, I knew. I knew
about this. I knew about that, I knew about the
monkey all that.
Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
And if you.
Speaker 8 (01:08:24):
Realize a certain part of the movie, there were certain
people who were in that part of Michael's life. They
didn't put in it. Jenet, I mean, Janet, wasn't it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
I saw that.
Speaker 8 (01:08:34):
I saw I was saying that Janet told them she
did not want to be right.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
That's what I was thinking exactly. Prince Shaw's I knowed.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
I knowed that.
Speaker 8 (01:08:43):
Yeah, so she didn't want to be part of Now
LaToya was part of it. Reba didn't want to really
be a part of it. But like I said, it
was entertaining. But it's not one of those movies that
I would gravitate and go back and see again. Give
you an example. Betther and I both say this. I
can watch the color Purple Forever. It's a great movie.
This movie is just okay. But I'm not taking away
(01:09:04):
from people who want to go see it because they're
to people out there who love Michael Jackson. I'm one
of the biggest fans too, But this movie that didn't
do it for me. Simply playing that's all. It was
nothing about the negative.
Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
How did how did you Fard Jackson? How was his
performance to you?
Speaker 8 (01:09:20):
His performance in my opinion was substandard. Yeah, it was substandard.
He was okay, Mike, but it was not in my
opinion about livable Mike. But anyway, Yeah, my reason for
calling and I know many times when we watching TV,
especially early in the morning, Terry and I hate these
commercials and maybe you can help me out on it.
(01:09:43):
These coll log companies, what would you suggest to people
who endire need of money but they want to use
their title or to get this money. And they realized
because she made us a statement when you're talking to
Carl with this high interest in getting your car back.
I had a friend that did that that was unable
(01:10:04):
to pay their money back because it just continue to
compound of top of compounds on top of compounds, as
revolving charges that they call it. Yeah, so I wanted
to get your take on that.
Speaker 6 (01:10:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
You know, in my early twenties, I actually a term.
I used my card title for something in my early
twenties to do something. I can't remember the dynamics of it.
Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
But you're right it was hard to get that title back.
Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
I believe what I had to do, and I hope
the title people are not listening, but I think this
is an again. Now I'm halfway joking Prince Charles, but
this is because I know what I'm saying can be
recorded and given I'm saying this to help somebody else.
I think what happened in my early twenties when I
took my title to the car place to get the loan,
(01:10:45):
and it was hard to.
Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
Get it back.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
I believe I had to get in my attorney involved
and we had to almost say I need to be
able to pay this to get the title back because
I'm about to I'm about to file the bankruptcy basically,
and they didn't want that to happen.
Speaker 3 (01:11:01):
So they accepted that offer and I got my title.
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
I wouldn't about the file for bankruptcy, but I need
to do something to get that title back.
Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
And that's what I did.
Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
I used my attorney to say we're gonna proceed with
the bankruptcy and that they don't want to get caught
up in that because they don't get anybody. We'll get
very little. And I just said, instead of me paying
that whatever I owe, five hundred, whatever it was, I said, look,
I'll give you three to fifty give me the title back.
So anyway, take that for what it is. But sometimes
when you're in those positions, you may have to get
yourself an attorney involved. You may have to go in
hard nose and say, look all I got is this
(01:11:33):
here off in the file. Bankrupts that give me my
title back, or you may be out of Look you know,
and sometimes if you know, if your story is true
and authentic and they feel you you, you know, you
can people who are in a certain line of work,
they can sense when you here's an example. Sometimes I'll
get a customer that comes in and again, I'm gonna
(01:11:54):
serve everybody the best service that I don't I don't
even bring it up. If somebody comes in and I
can sense they don't know what they're talking about about,
anything about a car.
Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
Deal, I'm not gonna even bring it up.
Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
But I can say this person doesn't know what they're doing,
but I'm gonna still stir them, right.
Speaker 3 (01:12:08):
I said that to say this here.
Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
When you go in and try to retrieve that title
back or whatever you're trying to do to get it back,
just be authentic. Don't go in there saying stuff that
they like I'm reading through this, they just talking foolish.
But by the way I'm going down the path, I'm
probably giving out too much information. But that's something if
you were if you Prince Charles was my cousin, and
I know you don't have a title with a company,
but that's that's the information I would give to you.
(01:12:31):
Go and try to see if you can settlement, offer
a settlement to get your title back because you can't
not afford to pay the monthly note or the weekly
note however they charge.
Speaker 3 (01:12:41):
I hope that helps someone.
Speaker 6 (01:12:44):
Well.
Speaker 8 (01:12:44):
I hope it does too, because I had a friend
of Maus who basically lost a car because of this,
and I try to explain to it. Don't go down
at rabbit hole, and if you do, they got you
to life. It's almost like vampire. They're gonna suck every
drop of blood out off from you. And they did that,
and they didn't try to negotiate and work with her.
They wanted that title. They wanted that car. And I
think a lot of times bell that when they do this,
(01:13:06):
they know that they got people, you know, behind the
eight ball, and they can pretty much dictate and say
whatever they want to do. And with her, I'm using
her case that she was unable to and I told her, don't, don't,
don't don't. I know the money is there and they
gonna give it to you, but you got to realize
that's a stream attached to that money that they getting
ready to give to you. And trust me, they're not
(01:13:27):
in the business of losing. And plus they're gonna make
more money off selling your car because they got the
title to it now than the money properly gave you.
That's always been and everywhere.
Speaker 3 (01:13:38):
No, I was just that's true.
Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
You're speaking truth there, Prince Gauw's I was gonna. I
was just gonna say that in my situation. I don't
remember how I pulled it off, but I did. And
you made a good point too, because if they have
your title, it doesn't really matter to them. If you
found bankruptcy, not because they have the titles of the car.
But I think in my situation, my offer was reasonable
and my story was authentic and reasonable, and that how
(01:14:00):
that's how I was able to negotiate us. And I
don't I don't think, for an example, let's say I
owe a thousand, but I'm only offer them one hundred dollars.
I don't think they would accept that. You have to
provide something that's reasonable, you know, just say, look, I
just I don't want you to take my car. I'm
trying to get it back. Can you work out something
that's gonna allow me to do that, because I don't
want to lose the car, you know, and you know,
(01:14:21):
but I would say, get an attorney involved. I'm not
an attorney. I don't want to pretend to be an attorney.
I don't want to give out advice is not good
if you're in that situation. Get yourself an attorney and
let them advise you of how to navigate that situation
versus me. Just I don't want to just give out
some information and somebody goes and try to make that
happen and it doesn't backfire. So get yourself an attorney
(01:14:42):
and let them advise you of how to navigate that.
Speaker 8 (01:14:45):
Okay, Terry, I appreciate Bamp. It's always thank you for
allowing me to speak them on everyone to have a
beautiful bus, safe and healthy and a dry dad.
Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
If you can, thank you and take a break, Cherry, Yeah,
come back. And I just just found out, Terry, we've
lost well, uh, I'm ogal and yeah, and I know
(01:15:13):
Ted Turner, yes, oh eighty seven, the guy who launched
c n N.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
I remember when and N first started.
Speaker 4 (01:15:24):
The reason I mentioned this Terry because I remember applying
for a job at CNN Radio.
Speaker 3 (01:15:31):
I had an interview yeah, yeah, before the before w
d I A.
Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
Uh yeah, yeah, well interea Yeah it was for yeah,
or it could have been in the right time, but
but I was trying to get to Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
But they interviewed me and and the guy says, I
like you.
Speaker 4 (01:15:51):
I like it. I just hide somebody go okay. But anyway,
Ted Turner, y'all, and the condolence is out there.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
His family. He was a visionary. He reshaped media.
Speaker 4 (01:16:01):
You get hey when he came in that CNN and
Terry came in with w TBS and TNN and my
favorite that I still look at now Turner classic movies. Yeah,
so our condolences, yeah yeah yeah Turner.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
Anyway, So well we're talking with this mogul, Terry Spicer.
Y'all are automotive specialist. You have a question or two
to for Terry about an automobile nine zero one five, three, five,
nine three four two eight hundred five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine
(01:16:43):
three four two.
Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
Will get you in to us. Can't call? Email me
your question.
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Bev Johnson at iHeartMedia dot com. You're listening to the
Heart and Soul of Memphis.
Speaker 6 (01:17:00):
W d i A. Got something to say. Say it
(01:17:23):
next with Tennessee Radio Hall of Famer Bev Johnson on
w d i A.
Speaker 7 (01:18:13):
You're listening to the Bev Johnson Show. Here's Bev Johnson.
Speaker 4 (01:18:17):
And we're talking with our automotive specialist, Terry Spicer.
Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
Terry back to the phone lines to talk with Edward. Hi, Edward, Hi, Edward?
Are you still there?
Speaker 4 (01:18:34):
He must have call us back, Edward. He dropped off.
I don't I don't have him. Okay, call us back?
It would okay, gone, Terry.
Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
Yeah, miss mss Bell, we hadn't talked about Blue Oval
in a while, let me read update here. Have you
have you got any news on it lately? Let me
give you this information here. So so as Ford is pivoting.
By the way, Blue Oval is the plant that Ford
was billing to develop or produce all of its electric vehicles,
if you can recall, well, here's the update here, for
(01:19:07):
it is pivoting its Tennessee Blue Oval City complex, scrapping
electric vehicle production in favor of gas powered trucks, with
production now pushed to twenty twenty nine.
Speaker 3 (01:19:20):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:19:21):
It is renamed Tennessee Truck Plant. It shifts focused from
evs to build Ford tough trucks. Meanwhile, the on site
Blue Oval sk battery plant is cutting one hundred and
fifty jobs as of March twenty twenty six. It's funny
(01:19:41):
how things change, policy.
Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
Change that I see, how the time everything must change,
nothing stays the same.
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Ye, my little person, thing is change. Either you make
change or change gonna make you.
Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
One of them is gonna happen. And I think because
that because.
Speaker 4 (01:20:01):
Doing all those electric vehicles, you don't have the charging
stations and all that stuff, And maybe that's a good idea.
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
They go to the trucks.
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Yeah, I think a part of Somebody can call in
and correct me, but I believe a part of this
was because when Trump came into office, you know, he
took away all the EV credits and he could cur less.
I guess, like kind of like Bell perspective, you're not
really thinking about the EV's and I guess Trump's not
even thinking about it either. So the manufacturers they have
(01:20:28):
to think long term, and in this case, they're thinking,
you know, the next four years, maybe even eight years
where they want to invest their money. And they saw
that the EV was going to be a hard path
to take, so that's why they And of course people
love pickup trucks, and if you know that they do,
if you go to any car lote, the most expensive
US product is going to be pickup trucks. A pickup
(01:20:51):
truck brand new can cost one hundred thousand dollars. Rounding
the number up, it can cost one hundred thousand dollars.
That can drive it, put thirty thousand miles on it.
It goes to the used car lot. That same truck
that sold for one hundred thousand dollars will now probably
say with thirty thousand miles on it.
Speaker 3 (01:21:09):
It may go still be.
Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Eighty thousand dollars. Because trucks are something that people can
use and they can make money with them. So trucks
are a keeper. If you got one, you got a
good truck that you can always make money with a
pickup truck. So miss Belle, let me move to my list.
If you don't have anything happening, no, all right, So family,
we are headed into summertime. Guess what happens in the
(01:21:31):
summertime is, Beth, it gets hot, since you already know
it gets hot. And Steve and I we don't do hot.
Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
Hey, y'all don't do hot. Steve don't do hot. Now,
we don't do hot.
Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
So I'm gonna give you a list of things to
check on. Most of this or some of this, you
may say, I know they do that, but just this
is a reminder. This is an automotive broadcast. So I
am doing my duty, my due diligence to make for
sure that you check up on your car before this
heat checks up on it. All right, I got a
list of ten here, check your battery. You can go
(01:22:04):
by any dealership you can stop. Buy my dealership, Sunrise
at wolf Chase in Bartlett, Tennessee eighty five hundred Highway
sixty four. You can pull up in our service drive
and have someone one of the service advisors to check
your battery. See if it's the sea off, the battery
is strong, if it's not strong, if it's poor. If
it's poor, you might want to go ahead and consider
(01:22:24):
changing it. But check your battery.
Speaker 3 (01:22:26):
It reads something here. Extreme heat can.
Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
Drain a battery faster than cold, so make sure it's
holding a strong charge and free of corrosion. So get
that corrosion off the connections the battery connections. Number two,
inspect your tires. Hot pavement increases tire pressure. Check for
(01:22:49):
proper inflation and tread where to avoid blowouts. So if
you're riding a car and the tread is really low,
and I'm sure if riding a car and the tread
is pretty low last night, it probably told you I
need new tires, because when the tread is really low,
you're gonna be a little slipping and sliding. Thank god,
(01:23:10):
I got some new tires on my car and I
rode with no issues. But I do recall I have
recall riding in rainy weather with some slick tires that
is no fun. It feels really uncomfortable that you may
lose controls, So definitely make sure you got your your
tires and just fyi family. You know, sometimes we want
(01:23:32):
to get a new tire, but we don't have the
budget to do so. A lot of dealerships like us,
we will price match, so you you if a Firestone
got a tire that's at a cheaper price, we will
price match that. And also just keep in mind that
Walmart and Sam's and Costco they sell tires. You can
get a deal that way, and if you really want
to save some money, you can.
Speaker 3 (01:23:53):
Go buy the uh.
Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
There are tire shops that sell pre owned tires where
the tread is not terribly low and you can maybe
spend thirty forty dollars on a pretty good tire, and
that comes in really handy, especially if your current tires
are bald. Spend yourself thirty forty dollars to get a
replacement tire going into this. You know, of course, the
month of May is a rainy time, so keep that
(01:24:16):
in mind. Test your AC system, so don't wait until
it's ninety five degrees outside. Make sure your air condition
is blowing cold now. Sometimes we need to recharge it,
get it charged back up. You can stop by our
shop Sunrise at wolf Chase and Burlet, Tennessee, and we
can do a quick test on your AC if it
needs some charging done to it. But definitely get that
(01:24:40):
worked out. I know some of my friends out in
the country, they were like, I don't need the AC.
Roboll went it down. I go forty miles an hour.
Speaker 7 (01:24:46):
I'm good.
Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Now, some of y'all may think that way, but to
each his own. The next item here, top off your
coolant levels. And again, if you stop by my dealership
Sunrise at wolf Chase and Bartlet, Tennessee on Highway sixty four,
we're happy to do that for you. Just pull into
our service drive and we'll get you topped off here.
So your engine depends on coolant to prevent overheating, so
make for sure it's at the right level for your car.
(01:25:11):
Replace your worn wiper blades once again. If you were
out driving last night or first thing this morning, you'll
know if your wipers need to be replaced because they
don't do a really good job of cleaning that windshield. Wipers. Again,
you can find a good deal on the wipers. You
can go to AutoZone. You can go buy O'Reilly's. You
can stop buy my shop Sunrise at Wolfchase and Bartlett, Tennessee.
(01:25:35):
Of course Sam's Walmart for sure have some wipers for you.
You can probably even buy some really good wipers at
are really good price on Amazon dot Com, So keep
that in mind. You want to protect your interior, so
use sunshades and consider seat covers to keep your car
protected from the heat. So when you park your car,
especially if there's no overhead protection, something that can provide
(01:25:59):
shade for your car, get you some sunshades to put
in the windshield. That'll keep your interior looking good longer. Okay,
let's move on to number seven here, which is wash
wax your vehicle. Of course, washing your vehicles is a
thing you should do to keep the car looking good.
But of course you want to wax it every so often.
(01:26:20):
That'll help keep that paint looking good for longer. So
when you go to sell that car or trade that
car in the first thing that everyone looks at is
the curb appeal. How does that car look? So keeping
that car washed and wax you don't have to wax
it every week, but you know, once some people have
a schedule once a month or once a quarter, but
it keeps that paint looking good for resale value. You
(01:26:42):
can decide you want to resell that car, so you
want to check your belts and your hoses. Of course,
he can cause rubber components to crack or fail, so
it's better to catch that early instead of you're out
driving and it happens. You want to be able to know, Okay,
this belt is getting a little a little iffy here.
I probably want to go ahead and change it now
in case I'm on the road. You don't want that
(01:27:04):
to be a catastrophe when you're out driving somewhere. So
two more items here, Number nine, keep your fluids topped off,
the engine oil. I think we kind of already mentioned
it already, but keep your engine oil, transmission fluid topped off.
Get going, getting ready to go to this hot summer heat.
If the last item here is don't ignore the warning lights.
So if something pops on the dashboard, go ahead and
(01:27:24):
get it checked. You can easily stop by an AutoZone,
an old Rilly's. They're designed for that. You got a
light that pops on, they can come out and put
the computer to it. And tell you pretty quickly what
it is. So the heat can turn small issues into
big repair problems. Repair problems quickly, so don't ignore your lights.
(01:27:46):
Miss Bell, I think everybody has the ten tips getting
ready for the summer heat. Anything else before I move on? Okay,
so let me give a couple more shout outs. Here,
A big shout out to my friend, Miss Barbara Brown.
She bought herself a brand new Buick and Vista. The
Invista is a really good, good looking car. If you
don't know what it is, I'm sure you've probably seen
it on the road by now. There are we sell
(01:28:08):
our dealership and other stores. We sell hundreds of these cars.
They're very popular. It's what I like to call affordable
luxury because they have that look of a BMW or
a Mercedes even especially when you look at the rear
of them. But they're not super expensive. They're price in
the mid twenties. They can keep your payment a brand
(01:28:30):
new car. They can keep your payments in the low
fives to six fifty. That's kind of the range. Low
fives to six fifty is where the payments are. And
again that's zero down. If you put money down, of course,
you can get it lower than that. So big shout
out to my friend Barbara Brown, she got herself a
beautiful Buick and Vista. Big shout out to Eric Dandrich.
He called me the other day say he's still working
(01:28:51):
on cars. He's always positive and optimistic. So Eric, I
wanted to make sure I put you on the shoutout
list because you're a good guy. Also, we had a
gentleman to come by the dealership Monday. If I'm not mistaken,
mister Frank Allison bought himself a brand new twenty twenty
six Sierra Denally Ultimate. So thank you, mister Allison. You
could have went to any dealership to make that purchase,
(01:29:13):
and we sincerely appreciate you. Miss Bev what you got you? Okay,
So miss Bell she's about she's about to get ready
to run here out of here. I can see that
woofleball back coming out of her purse. Let me give
you a couple more things before I leave here. So
if you're looking for a particular vehicle, even if I
don't have that vehicle, you're welcome to stop by the
(01:29:34):
dealership and I'll do what I can to do a
search for you to see if I can find you
that vehicle at a better price, or even giving you
strategy of strategies of how to get a vehicle at
a better price. And I'm connected to many of the
dealers here in town. So if you want to just
start with me and let me kick off the search
for you, I'm happy to do that. You can call me,
(01:29:56):
you can stop by and sit with me, or if
you're just looking for a good then you come by
and as I tell Bev all the time, you know,
I thank god they promoted me. I actually run all
the social media, all the marketing for the dealership. But
when you visit with me, I'm gonna operate like a salesperson.
I don't get a commission, but I still operate because
I want to make for sure number one, that you
(01:30:16):
get really good service.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
Miss Bellv. It is so easy to provide great service.
I'm not sure. I'm not sure why most people don't
do it. It's just so easy to do that.
Speaker 1 (01:30:25):
If my little concept is if I treat you like
my family member, and I love my family member. If
I treat you like a family member, how can I
screw that up? I'm gonna make for sure that you
get really good service. My next objective is to make
for sure that you get a good deal. And the
third thing, if you for some reason you don't buy
a car for whatever reason that is, I'm gonna make
for sure you have the information. So if you go
(01:30:47):
to another dealership or if you have to come back
to visit with me in a month or two, I'm
gonna set you up with information so you know what
to do.
Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
It won't just be up.
Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Can't help you stop. Thanks for stopping buy. I'm not
gonna do that. I'm gonna say this is what's going on,
this is what we need to do. Do ABC and
D and then do this, and I'm gonna put you
on the right track. So if you're driving, you can't
write my number down. I do have a website, but
let me give you my telephone number. My telephone number
is going to be nine zero one six seven two
(01:31:18):
four four two two. Just store it on your phone.
Sometimes you even if you're check this out, you might
find this unbelievable. You can be at a whole nother
dealership working a.
Speaker 3 (01:31:30):
Deal and you need advice. Feel free to call her
text me. I'm happy to do it. I live for it.
Speaker 1 (01:31:37):
My number one more time nine zero one six seven
to two four four two two. Misbeall believing that I
have set people up at other dealerships to get if
they want a new Lexus, I can't sell them that.
Speaker 3 (01:31:50):
Yeah, I'll set them up with the guy at the
Lexus store to make that. As you know the people.
Let me get this phone out of the last one. Oh,
let's do it. High caller, Hi caller, you on the.
Speaker 4 (01:32:02):
Hello listen, I think they fell asleep. Okay, did I
lose your Sandra? I heard the TV in the background
the radio listening. Okay, well, yeah you missed out, sister.
Because we're getting ready to hit it. That's right, Bill,
I'm about to run me out of here, So I
(01:32:23):
give my number out one more time. Then I give
my my website, my telephone number nine zero one six
seven to two four four two to two.
Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
Just save it in your phone. Just use me as
a resource for information that you may need about a car,
whatever that is. If I don't have information, I would
do my darnedness to get that information for you. I
live for it, so you never will be unless I'm
working a live deal. I may be a little slow
getting back with you, but believe me. I will get
back with you, and to text me is the best.
I might miss a call. I'll read the Texas no
(01:32:53):
matter what I'm doing. Now, if you're driving, you can't
write that information down. I do have a website.
Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
It's my name.
Speaker 1 (01:32:59):
You can go to Terrespicer dot com and my information
pools up there. I even have a little box down
at the bottom. If you want to email me something
or email a question, feel free to do so and
I'll try to respond to you that way.
Speaker 6 (01:33:11):
Ms Beth.
Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
Yeah, and before you got Terry, we need to say
happy birthday to Patricia Hampton. She is the sister of
our one of my former co workers here at Iheartverna
die or so Happy birthday Patricia Hampton from your sister
Verna and your whole entire family, man and the family.
Speaker 3 (01:33:31):
Happy.
Speaker 4 (01:33:31):
Yeah, yeah, all right, Terry did well day. And give
out your website.
Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
Your website, yeah yeah, Now my website again is going
to be my name is Terryspicer dot com. And you'll
see a photograph. I actually the photograph you see there.
I was in New York back in twenty three, twenty
twenty three, twenty four, I was in New York at
a conference. I was walking back to my hotel and
the guy, a guy with a chemist, says, hey, you
(01:33:56):
want to take a picture.
Speaker 3 (01:33:57):
It was like, well why not.
Speaker 1 (01:33:58):
So that's where that picture comes from. I was walking
through Times Square. It took a great picture and I
used that for the new website photograph. All right, thank you,
Miss Bell.
Speaker 4 (01:34:06):
I love you so may I appreciate you and looking
forward to you next month. Say this that Sunday is
my birthday.
Speaker 3 (01:34:14):
Ah, happy birthday, queen. Be Mother's Day, Mother's Day. And
I was born on Mother's Day. Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:34:21):
And so my mother didn't have a gift for her
mother and my grandmother and she said said, my dear,
here's your gift. It was me.
Speaker 3 (01:34:30):
That's awesome, Miss Bell. Yeah, absolutely awesome.
Speaker 7 (01:34:33):
Yeah, what are you planning.
Speaker 3 (01:34:36):
Go to church Sunday. We'll talk about it. We'll talk
about it.
Speaker 4 (01:34:40):

that's right, mister Terry Spicer, y'all, our automotive specialists.
Speaker 3 (01:34:50):
