iHeart communities. Here we are atthe Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity, where
charities have a chance to earn anextra fifteen percent on every dollar donated through
end of play tomorrow. This isexciting an opportunity because of Webster Bank for
these charities to really put these unrestrictedfunds to great use. And I'm super
excited to have the Middlesex United Wayhere with me. I had a good

time with them over the winter doinga lot of work in Middletown and collecting
toys. But Shawanda Swayne is seatedright next to me. Shawanna, thank

So listen, tell everybody how importantthese funds are to you guys at
the United Way. It is extremelyimportant because we are the gap fillers.

You know, we try to servethe most vulnerable in our fifteen towns and
rather that be through health, education, after school programming, all those needs.
We try to fill those gaps sothat we make sure kids are not
hungry, we make sure that there'ssome academic support after school or you know,

less disparities in health and all ofthose kinds of things. And every
dollar counts and after COVID, itreally has been tough to get everybody back,
it really has. And they're youknow, people hear United Way.
We know and understand and appreciate theame. But there's different sectors here in
the state of Connecticut. So talkabout the areas you serve. Yes,
So Middlesex United Ways serves all fifteentowns of Middlesex County and so our funds

we've given out this year will begiven out three hundred thousand dollars throughout the
county and it only stays in thecounty. So when you give those moneyes,
you know it's going right back whereyou gave it from. Where can

to our website. They get allour information on how to donate even now

for our links still up for birdiesfor charity, that's right. But they
can donate in many ways through payroll, through one time, do credit card,
a lot of ways. We havea masquerade ball coming up in October.
Oh, we must have come outat the Wadsworth Mansion. Oh,
Sanky, I'm so really excited aboutlove that these things. We have fun,

but it's a great way to raisethose dollars and fill those voids.
Yeah, because you're open all yearround, not just in the summer.
But these extra birdy dollars with theTravelers Championship mean a lot and Webster Bank.
I mean, it's talk about howeasy it was to be a part
of Berti's for Charity. I meanit was just a click of a button.
Was as simple as sending out thelink to all the people we know,
putting it on our website, puttingit out on our Facebook pages to

so easy to do. It wasn'ta hass. So even those who don't
think that they're technologically savvy have beenable to do it. All right,
