Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is a podcast from War from.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Everywhere, USA. It's Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
There's our guy, fired up, ready to go on a
Friday episode of Fox Across America.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
A stack deck if ever there was one.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Justine Brooke Murray, a former Miss Central New Jersey.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Hubah, she stop and buy.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
To talk about the fake controversy surrounding the White House renovation.
Of course, the ongoing coverage of the NBA gambling sting.
Danny Pohlashok, superstar comedian comedian is going to be here
as well, and.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
My son Lincoln Phiala. It is a football Friday.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
You'll get a little playground politics and he will tell
you more importantly who to bet in the big Clark
Rams football game tomorrow paying in cash. You know, this
is like a tongue in cheek segment that we do.
But with the government shutdown raging on as long as
it has, some people out there might actually need the
extra paycheck at this point.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
That's true that one way or the other.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Stay tuned for the link man and let's do the
damn thing eight at eight seven eight, eight nine nine
one zero. The rules are the same every day on
this radio show.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I don't care where you come from. I don't care
what color you are.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
I don't care how smut y'all. I don't care how
dune y are.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
No, ma'am a true diamond in the rough over here
at Fox across America. We are not activists. We are inactivists.
We're just trying to have a three hour conversation. Like,
I don't have the energy to fight with you over pop.
I don't care. I'll tell a funny story about show biz.
It's such a great one, Okay. It's like, you know,
I host a TV show, Fox News Saturday Night, and
when when you come out of that wall on Saturday
(01:37):
night ten o'clock, Jimmy, what kind of gay figure skater
jacket does he have on? Now? Look, Connie, they're at
ah wow rhymestones. All right, yeah, yeah, Okay. The guy
watching a home on the couch has no idea how
exhausted you are, or just how far along your wits
end you might happen to be on a particular day.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
You just gotta do the damn thing.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
And I know that because I was once dropping off
a girl at Flashdown Answers in my taxi.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Who was telling me.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know, she had an upset stomach, but you still
got to get up there that night and shake it.
You know, they think it's attraction, they think you're selling sexuality,
but at the end of the day, you're just a
stripper with the farts. I know it's a little classy
for this show, but that is show is in a nutshell
for all you do. Okay, your real obligation to your
(02:23):
audience is get up there and just have a good time.
Provide everybody with some escapism from whatever the is tormenting them.
So I'm not telling you my stomach is upset, but
the way the world's going, yours might be. So we're
going to try to opiate the masses for the next
three hours while all of you strippers out there deal
with the farts. What's going on with Jimmy, But you
(02:45):
know the rules the whole Be a Republican, be a Democrat,
don't be a I say it eighty five times a show.
I'm actually losing track of it at this point, and
I will tell you why.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
It's because the news man, Oh god, it's just flying.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
We're working on my TV show this morning, right, and
we're like, what is the actual lead story, like the
thing we covered all week on every freaking channel was
a White House renovation, which, by the way, nobody covering
it on any of the other networks is acknowledging the
fact that Obama just did a white house renovation that
costs twice as much as Trump's was paid for by
(03:19):
the taxpayers, and.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
It's a CNN report.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yet there they are on TV every night going, we've
never seen anything like this before.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
People aren't buying at CNN, you dumb best suit.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So it's a fun thing to cover.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
But then yesterday they arrested the freaking NBA trail Blazer's coach,
Chauncey Billups popped fix and poker games, allegedly Terry Rozier
down on the heat apparently tanking games, and Damon Jones.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
A funny one.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
The Damon Jones story is he was a coach on
the player coach whatever the hell on the Lakers, and
he tipped off some betters because he allegedly knew Lebron
James wasn't playing that night and said, hey, if I
was you, I'd put a big bet in on the
Milwaukee Bucks because a big star the Lakers isn't playing,
So they went out there and you're damn right.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
They were all over that game.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Money money, money, money, money, money, money.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
And of course the Lakers went on to lose, very
controversial stuff.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
It's also a foreign entity.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
As a guy who grew up watching New York basketball
in our town, we would tell the gamblers to bet
against the Knicks because the starters were playing. No, it's
in the bag. Don't worry about nothing. You're gonna be great.
But again we're like, what is the scandal and what
is the story? What is the angle? They stole the
Crown jewels this week. It was the biggest heist in
the in history. Okay, they're saying it was worth over
(04:36):
one hundred and two million dollars, which would make that
the biggest heist in history, although according to Donald Trump,
it was the twenty twenty election, although according to the
Democrats it was the twenty sixteen election. So I don't
know who the hell you're supposed to believe. But the
point is it was really hard finding a lead. And
then before we went to bed last night, Trump declared
a trade war on Canada and was like, they're the problem.
(04:59):
They ran this Reagan ad where Reagan is seemingly bashing tariffs.
The White House claims it was taken out of context.
So Trump announced that the Canadian trade deal is off.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's not gonna.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Work yet, somehow, defiling all odds. I get on the
air this morning, the stock market is up five hundred
and fifty points. Oh girl, I'm saying right, Holy hell amazing.
So yeah, good good news. If you're an investor of
(05:32):
bad news. If you were playing poker in the Hamptons
with a bunch of retired NBA players, you probably need
that cash.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
But it kind of defies the odds.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay, we got a good report of inflation, and it
sounds like they're gonna cut interest rates again next week.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
The point is it's just a mess out here, just
a big mess.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
So we get on the air on a Friday trying
to make heads and tails of it, just the way
you have. Okay, and we're gonna talk to three great people.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Just Dean Brook. Murray's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
She's actually making her debut on Fox New Saturday Night
this weekend. She's never been on the show before, and
because she's a former pageant girl, she's going to be
talking about a former was a pageant contestant Miss Panama
was competing in the Miss World competition, and she thought
the announcer had called her names and advanced her to
(06:18):
the finals. Unfortunately, she misheard it, walked out there only
to find out from the announcer that he meant Miss Paraguay.
Really embarrassing stuff, really awkward stuff. Not as bad as
the time that one woman was so convinced she was
(06:39):
going to win the United States presidential election that she
parked a fireworks barge in New York Harbor.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I'm Hillary Clinton and I approved this message. But still
heavy stuff. So she'll talk about that.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Danny and Lincoln'll give us a World Series preview, and yes,
I will be the port in the storm that tries
to make sense of this. But let's lead with the
NBA because there's new sound. Adam Silver, he's the NBA commissioner.
It's funny, sorry about Adam Silver. I was at Rao's,
once fancy Italian restaurant Uptown. I've never been there. I've
driven a lot of people there in my cab. About
six months ago, somebody invited me to go. Now, the
(07:09):
reason that's significant to me is because Rao's is not
a place I could get in on my own. You
have to actually be like connected to the restaurant. It's
considered the most exclusive table in probably the world. I'm
not kidding. They only have ten tables in the restaurant,
and the people who dine at them kind of own them.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
They're like time shares.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
So you can literally give someone as a wedding gift
a night at dinner at Rayos, like they still have
to pay the bill. Just the fact that you got
them a table is considered a lavish gift in New
York City, like for real.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
And on a particular night, I was at Rails.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Adam Silver was there and I didn't know who I was,
but everybody this table did. So I went over and
met everybody there. I took pictures with everybody there. There
were super friendly Fox fans and that I told him
who I was, and he was like, yeah, anyway, yeah,
nice to meet you, have a good dinner, enjoy your dinner,
and that's what he said.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
This guy's so serious ass.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Didn't want to know anymore, didn't want a fist bump,
didn't want a selfie. Yeah anyway, good, yeah, oh yeah,
good to meet you. But again, I bear the man,
Noel Will. The point is here, he is on the
Pat McAfee show trying to make sense of something, and
before I play the clip, I'm going to take credit
for this. I told you yesterday at the top of
the show, long before this guy spoke, before anybody started
reporting the angle. Not that it hasn't been out there before,
(08:18):
but on this show we were a little bit ahead
of the curve. Prop bets are killing the integrity of
professional sports.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Prop bets.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
What a prop bet means is you're not betting who's
going to win the game and who's going to lose
the game.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
That's what I grew up doing.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
You could bet the winner, you could bet the loser,
you could bet the over amount of points, you could
bet the under amount of points. That was it. It's
all you could bet. But now, because they want to
entice young kids to gamble, they've created all of these
exotic propositions you can gamble on, meaning you can bet
less money and win more, which is an enticement to
(08:50):
get a young kid like my son gambling. That's why
I'm always talking to about gambling and how rigged and
stupid it's gotten.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Okay, in my day, there was.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
A lot more integrity to gambling, and you were never
watching pro supporting event where the league was encouraging you
to bet on the freaking event.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
What the wide wide worldless sports isn't going on here?
Speaker 3 (09:08):
There's no integrity, none, like zero integrity when it comes to,
you know, professional sports and gambling now like players are
in gambling, ands you think about that. I grew up
in an era where Pete Rose was banned for life
for betting on baseball, which you shouldn't be allowed to do.
Like to be clear, Okay, if he did it and
lied about it, you should be in trouble. I'm not
telling you to let him off the hook, but it
does seem a little crazy to know he died at
(09:30):
a time when he was still banned from baseball as
the all time leading hit leader, yet we're watching his
funeral coverage sponsored by DraftKings.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
It sounds a little silly, but the prop bets.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Okay, the reason the corrupt sports is Back in the day,
if you wanted a team to throw a game to
make you money, you had to get a couple of
big people in on it, and you literally had to
determine the outcome of a game, which is something a
little bit easier to deduce if you're the league and
(10:03):
you're looking out for this sort of thing. But because
of those little prop bets, hey, if you bet five dollars,
you can win ninety seven dollars if all sixteen of
these teams win at the same time. A stampede of
wild elephants is followed by one baby zebra. As they
said in the old Looney Tunes commercial. You know it
was these wild, exotic propositions where you could bet nothing
and win a lot. That was the hook. But what
(10:23):
they introduced were other ways to bet the game. Hey,
instead of just betting who's gonna win and who's gonna lose,
you can now bet how many garbage cans are gonna
be in section two nineteen. You can bet whether the
national anthem is gonna be longer than ninety seconds. You
can bet anything. You can bet if the first pitch
is going to be a strike. You can bet who
the first player to score is gonna be. And these
bets are so difficult on young kids that you can
see in the advertising. The league literally gets on TV
(10:46):
and goes, if you'll bet who the first player of
the score is, and you get it wrong, we'll let
your bet a second time for free, meaning they know
you're gonna get it wrong ninety nine percent of the time.
But more importantly, you're going to start gambling at a
very minimal level, which is more likely to make you
gamble at a big level down the road.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
He's a lousy dad, but he's right.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
And because you can now bet things as innocuous as
balls and strikes and how many extra points and stupid
stuff like that, Okay, you start to see players like
Terry Rozier. I'm not saying it's not his fault, because
of course it is. But you're creating new avenues for
your athletes, for your coaches, for your spot, for everybody
(11:31):
to gravitate towards corrupt means.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
But why, Jimmy, why do they do that?
Speaker 3 (11:35):
If Terry Rozier is a hundred million dollar contract, why
does he do that? And it's because it's all cash, Okay,
it's fast cash. What does fast cash represent to a
guy with a hundred million dollar contract. It means money
his ex wife can't deduct in a divorce settlement. It
means money another girl can't deduct in a paternity suit.
(11:55):
I'm not even telling you any of this is going
on in the man's life. I have no idea, but
that's always been the appeal of cash to rich people
is the liquidity gives them a lot more maneuverability for
the bad things they want to do. Okay, I am
a cab driver. I have driven the rich and wealthy
and illicit and insane around this city at all hours
of the night. The phrase cash is king. You know
(12:18):
they say no kings, no, no, no no. If you're
out in the red light district at all hours of
the night, you want plenty of kings.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Cash is king.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
You want as many kings as you can get. But
here is Adam Silver acknowledging what they all knew to
be true. They all knew to be true. Okay, this
is what's going on in pro sports right now. It
is Poultergeist for the league's integrity. Do you remember the
end of the movie Poltergeist when he starts yelling at
the real estate development. You built the houses on top
(12:46):
of the ceremony on the funeral.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
You didn't even get rid of the coffins. You didn't
even get rid of the headstones.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Because they open up this new boomtown and everybody's house
is haunted. Caroline, don't go towards the light, Caroline, that
all things you get sucked into the TV that professional
sports in their integrity right now, they built the community
on top of the graveyard of gambling that has destroyed
so many people's lives.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
I mean pretty much my own.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
But I just didn't know what was happening at the
time because I was having fun. I'd a good, you know,
good woman, and you know, kind of started my life
over as a cab driver, even though I was in
a lot.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Of gambling debt.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
But it's so fascinating to see them have to acknowledge this,
Like what happens to Adam Silver in this clip is
the equivalent of when you come home and you can
tell your dog peede somewhere because it won't look at you,
instead of getting the dance, instead of running around in circles,
instead of yelping, it's just like look it away, and
you're just you're just waiting, waiting for a shredded pillow
(13:44):
or a half a sneaker or heaven forbid, yes I'm
pee in the corner, okay. And some people do the
old thing where they stick the animal's nose in it,
and shame. That was never my style. I was more
of a hit him with a tire iron. I'm getting
stop it right now. But the point is here is
Adam Silver getting his nose stuck in a clip three.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
We've asked some of our partners to pull back some
of the prop bits, especially when they're on two way players,
guys who don't have the same stake in the competition,
where you know, it's too easy to manipulate something which
seems otherwise small and inconsequential to the overall score. Maybe
we're trying to put in place and learning as we
(14:21):
go and working with the betting companies some additional control
to prevent sort of some of that manipulation.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Now, which is all a fancy way of saying he
knew this was a problem the whole frickin' time. Okay,
everybody when they saw sports go from no gambling gamblings bad.
You can't gamble, We'll never associate with gambling. Like the
old running joke in the NFL was sometimes late in
a game on Monday Night Football, someone would kick a
late field goal and al Michaels wouldn't mention the spread
(14:50):
he'd allude to it, and it was considered controversial, Like
if the over under was forty two points and the
score was twenty one to twenty forty one points combined scored,
and the team leading just kicked an extra field goal,
and now it's twenty four to twenty and it's an over.
Al Michaels would be like, well, I have a feeling
some people watching it home are very upset about that
field goal, and we'd be like, hilarious. He kind of
(15:13):
alluded to gambling, and it was like considered riskay and
taboo and out there. And now you turn on a
game and Al Michaels is reading you prop bets before kickoff.
So the point is, this is the NFL. Gambling is
their boom town, but they built it over a graveyard.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
There.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
It is Fox across America with Jimmy Fala reading this report.
There's an interstellar what they believed to be a comet
now hurtling towards a NASA spacecraft's path and what they're
calling a once in a lifetime encounter. I don't know, man,
I know we introduce, we introduced, we interviewed you on
(15:53):
Duffy this week. He's the Transportation Secretary of the acting
head of NASA. But this to me, and I didn't
get a chance to ask Duffy this because it wasn't
a story at the time. This just sounds like NASA's
trying to get more money out of us for some
type of rese I mean, come on, guys, it's literally
the plot of Independence Day.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
We got a comment it's really close to Earth.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
We might need to throw Bruce Willis in the space
Shuttle actually to borrow from Armageddon parlance. I think Ben
Afflack would be willing to go now just to get
rid of Jennifer. Jennifer Lopez. It's like, I do want
to miss a thing. Actually, I want to miss everything.
I'll go blow myself up in the comet. But I
don't know what to believe. A lot of people are
kind of hysterical about this on social media, but I
(16:34):
really think this is NASA just passing around the collection hat.
You know, media's gonna hit us. It's really close to
Earth by the way we've runt Lua Mane. I don't
know the answer, but we're gonna find out as the
show progresses. Today, I got Justine Brooke Murray. She knows
everything in DC. Danny Polaschak Canadian comedian Lincoln Fail is
on Lincoln's Fired Ups. Got football to morrow, and we
(16:56):
get the World Series tonight, Los Angeles against Toronto. And
I'm going to tell you a story later about show.
Hey Otani, I'm a Yankee fan, but it actually made
me root for this guy. He did something really, really cool.
Everybody likes a good pet.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Story these days.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
I think Otani has like the best pet story in
the history of Major League Baseball. And if everybody behaves,
you're gonna hear it in the third hour of the show.
If you can't make it that long, you can always
download the podcast at foxacross.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
America dot com.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
What's coming up in the next segment, I have no
idea we wing this whole show. Jimmy gets up, reads
the news, grabs a couple of sound clips, and we
do like a good old fashioned organic talk radio show.
Thrilled to be doing it with you, So don't go anywhere,
because we're gonna make it up as we go. And
another big, hard hitting segment on the high flying deathifying
Fox across America. Well, and there it is, Fox Across
(17:47):
America with your radio buddy Jimmy Faila doing a damn
thing eighty eight seven to eight nine nine one zero.
It's Friday. We're a pretty loose mood on the show. Okay.
But the one thing I will tell you, with everything
that's going on in the world, I've had so many
laughs this week watching powerful people backpedal do that thing.
(18:11):
Do you know when you were watching like the Roadrunner
back in the day, and he'd run off the cliff
and then he'd break the fourth wall and look at
the camera with like his feet pedaling like meat meat,
and you know in the coyote would fall off a cliff.
There's been so much of that, whether it was coming
from the Democratic Party over the shutdown, the Chuck Schumers
of the world. The stuff going on with the White
House renovations are hilarious because every media member having a
(18:34):
meltdown said nothing.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
No, Trum's ballroom is two hundred million dollars. It's getting
paid for by donors.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Okay, Obama built a basketball court for three one hundred
and seventy six million dollars paid for by the taxpayers.
Just hold on to your pocket book.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
They just put a lien on your money, your savings,
in your retirement.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Saying okay, and nobody in the media said anything.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
The media is a bunch of losers.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
That being said, I am selfishly enjoying the sports batting scandal.
I obviously spend a lot of time betting on sports
growing up. I, you know, find great love sports. My
son is texting me this whole show right now about
this scandal. It's fantastic. So I communicate with my kid.
But it's been such a good diversion because you know,
politics are awful, but it's been a little bit worse
lately than even usual for me. And this Steph Curry
(19:29):
one right here just made me laugh. It's Steph Curry.
You know, guys made a bazillion dollars. He's an instant
Hall of Fame, a great player by all accounts. People
know him to be a good guy. But him having
to defend the integrity of the game is just funny
to me. Here it is Clip four.
Speaker 7 (19:42):
How concerned are you about what happened today and just
how it might impact the NBA's integrity.
Speaker 8 (19:48):
I think on a whole everybody is very mindful of,
you know, what to do, what not to do, And
I understand the landscape of you know, sports right now
in general, and that's not just an NBA thing, it's
you know, this is new territory for everybody. So I
think on the whole we all are very responsible. The
integrative game is is fine, and then obviously we let
(20:11):
the situation play out whatever whatever happens. But I wouldn't
worry about that too much now.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
I play that though, because it's called a good faith take.
What he's trying to do is, you know, minimize the
damage to the brands. Guy makes, you know, tens of
millions of dollars in the NBA, by all accounts, has
nothing to do with it and doesn't want this to
overshadow all the good things the NBA does, all the
good things they contribute to people's lives. I mean, for real,
straight up, Okay, that's a good faith take. What I'm
(20:39):
about to play it from Steven A. Smith is embarrassing. Embarrassing.
And if you're like a conservative person who works in
the media and you're on a radio station that carries
my show after yours, I mean, honestly, and you're just
listening to this on the way home or the way in,
or whatever the hell time slot they run this show
in everybody on the right has to stop lionizing any
(21:03):
liberal who agrees with us for a half hour, you
know what I mean. You know, every time if Bill
marsays something nice about Fox, everybody runs out and retweets it,
but they omit. The last three minutes, the comment starts with, like, yeed,
it did a good thing over Fox the other night.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Cut and we're like, ah, even Bill Mahr gets it.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
For the next three minutes, You're like those white supremacist
election deniers like to trade out, but we gret anybody
on the right, anybody on the right who agrees with us.
We're like, I actually like this guy. Okay, Like Stephen A.
Smith great friends with Sean Hannity. I'm obviously pretty good
friends with Sean Hannity myself. Sean has him on a
lot and they have a lot of good faith back
and forth. But Sean's show is not his ESPN show.
(21:41):
The ESPN show is a Disney show.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Disney just paid more money than God for the NBA rights,
and this is a real big issue for the NBA
right now. I guess some isshoes exactly. So Mickey's worked
up and Stephen A. Smith wants to get out there
and protect the shield, meaning he wants the bass the
people watching the NBA to think this is not their problem,
(22:05):
it's a problem caused by Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I mean, dude, that is.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
That is absolutely the most ridiculous excuse I have ever
heard in my entire career as a disciplinarian.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
But here he is.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
He's saying it okay on ESPN to the team of panelists.
He's the highest paid NBA analyst. He's the guy who
carries the most weight. And when he talks like that
is like the staff memo. You're not going to interrupt him.
You're going to sit there and nod your head like,
oh wow, this is you know, if I can just
be at the hem of his garment, the anointed Stephen A.
Smith is doing political commentary and I met him. He's
(22:42):
a nice guy. I don't know anything against him, but
this is embarrassing because he's trying to blame this on Trump.
And I want you to understand why is he doing that?
Because the base hates Trump over at Disney. The core
ESPN viewer, the BLM, George Floyd riot supporting defund the police,
people who still frequent ESPN at this late stage. Okay,
love the catnip of blame Trump. It's their S and
(23:02):
M safe word. If something goes wrong, well Trump and
oh oh oh Trump, I had no idea. Okay, well
in that case, except there's only one small problem. This
investigation started four years ago. Four years ago, guys, Donald
Trump is not fixing card games. Okay, if he could,
his casinos would still be in business. I mean, think
about that. It's bananas. But stick with me, because here
(23:24):
is Stephen A. Smith trying to do the kick save
and it's just like so laughable because everybody listening to
this is like, well yeah, no exactly, yeah, no, okay,
yeah no the way he said it here it is clipsis.
Speaker 9 (23:34):
Trump is coming. Don't be surprised if the WNBA.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Is next on his list.
Speaker 9 (23:41):
We've seen athletes get in trouble with the law before.
You don't see the director of the FBI having a
press conference.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
It's not coincidental, it's not an accident. It's a statement.
Speaker 10 (23:54):
Talk to people in the NBA, talk to people in
the NFL, talk to people in.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
The world as words. They think this is like the
the Iceberg.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
I mean, come on, dude, this is Trump is coming.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
What you've just said is one of the most insanely
idiotic things I have ever heard. I mean, seriously, everyone
in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
And you know who agrees with that. Clip from the
Adam Sandler movie. Here is Cash Battel on the Ingram Angle.
Last night, before I went on waters World, I was
watching Cash Betel in the in the studio.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
This is pretty funny. Clip seven.
Speaker 7 (24:28):
I'm the FBI director. I decide which arrested conduct and
which not to conduct. That may be the single dumbest
thing I've ever heard out of anyone in modern history.
And I live most of my time in Washington, d C.
It's right up there with Adam Schiff. We arrest people
for crimes.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
So Stephen A. Smith, you gotta do better than that,
a lot better than that.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
It's just so embarrassing. Okay, I understand why it's happened
in the nightmare for the NBA. They just bought the
rights on ESPN to the NBA deal. The NBA on
TNT just kicked off this week on ESPN for the
first time in twenty plus years. It's leaving TNT, So
it's a nightmare for them because this is big publicity.
They had a great opening night, but the only thing
(25:10):
anyone in the world is talking about is the scandal.
Do I think it's gonna go away pretty quick? I
actually do for all the salacious things that are coming
out a lot of stuff on Twitter. Okay, there's so
much money involved, But if you want to know the
real truth, like, for real, why is this money gonna
go Why is the story gonna go away real quick?
It's because the leagues themselves. The leagues themselves are worried
(25:33):
about their own gambling money bingos. This isn't about integrity,
it's not about justice. If it was, they wouldn't be
pivoting to Trump right now. Donald Trump did not organize
a gambling ring that included four NBA teams and four
mafia crime families. Like that's embarrassing on its face. Donald
(25:54):
Trump did not tell Terry rozi Or on the Miami
Heat to instruct Gamba to bet the under on his
statistics because he was gonna leave the game early with
a made up injury. That's not Donald Trump, guys. Okay,
bringing Chauncey Billups is a honeypot to private card games
where they have X ray scanners and they can cheat
(26:15):
the Mark into raising his hands and losing big bets.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Donald Trum has nothing to do with that.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Like, that's so embarrassing, and you get it, you get
the deflection. We cover enough politics to see how it works,
and that is Steven A. Smith going into political mode.
I don't think he can get away with that. If
he's on Hannity tonight, Sean can let him get away
with that, No chance. But ESPN would straight up. And
that's why it's so embarrassing. You know, sometimes you need
a no man. You need a no man. One of
(26:40):
the worst things that ever happens to super, super super
successful people, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson is Guys like that
that are so rich and so profoundly famous are usually
towing a pretty long gravy train full of people who
are making their living off of your success, and they
don't want to step in and tell you, No, you
(27:01):
shouldn't take more drugs. No, you shouldn't take profanol or
whatever the hell Michael Jackson was sleeping with. No, you
shouldn't have a sleepover with other things besides profanol. You
know what I'm saying, I'm just saying okay, they didn't
have a no man to step in and be like, hey, dude,
cut the You don't have that, okay, because people don't
(27:23):
want to get thrown off the gravy train. And it's
the same thing over at ESPN. How many people do
you know of that have been fired because they've run
a foul of the you know, popular sovereignty if you will,
of the channel, think of all the Sage deal stories,
think of the things Will Kine has to say about
ESPN these days. You know, over here at Fox, a
guy worked there for quite a while, okay, because ESPN
(27:47):
went super duper woke number one, but number two again.
Once you are sponsored by gambling and you have fallen
in love with that money, your loyalty stops being to
the integrity of the game, where the integrity of the conversation.
Your loyalty is now to that almighty dollar. And that's
what Steven A. Smith was doing yesterday. That's why it's
(28:09):
so embarrassing, is because like you can see the sellout,
you know what I'm saying. Let me give you a
little more though, because I just find it to be
so funny. Because Shaquille O'Neil Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley is
an interesting case study here because Charles Barkley is a
really famous gambler, as is Michael Jordan really really famous gamblers. Okay,
it's not to say they were involved in anything like this,
(28:30):
because by all accounts, they had nothing to do with it.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
I'm not even asserting that.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
I'm just saying it's interesting to hear a gambler's take
on a network that covers the league.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
So let's start with Barkley Clip nine.
Speaker 11 (28:41):
This ain't got nothing to do with damn gambling addiction.
These dudes are stupid? Why are they stupid? You under
no circumstances? Can you fix basketball games? Under no circumstances?
I love to gamble. Rosea makes twenty six million dollars
him bend and giving people information or taking a self
out of games. How much is he gonna benefit taking
(29:04):
himself out the game to get unders. He's making twenty
six million dollars the notion he gains how much of
these guys he gave a hit up? He took himself
out of games on prop bets? How much money is
he gonna make?
Speaker 3 (29:19):
I mean, he raises a good point, But for a
lot of these guys. It's not about money, it's about action.
You know, a lot of big money people who bet
on sports have money. They're just tired of the way
they make it, or they're uninspired by the way they
make it, so they go out and try to make
it in other illicit ways. That's what gambling, you know,
does to a lot of people. But when you're a
big pro athlete, if you're involved with like underworld figures,
(29:40):
it's usually because they have something on you, you know,
whether you're involved in some type of relationship you shouldn't
be in, or you got some friends you grew up
with that are problematic and you're still loyal to them
and you kind of get dragged down this road.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
You know, that was a big story.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
Do you remember Aaron Hernandez who is the Patriots tight
end NFL's all time leader and homicides. Aaron Hernandez famously,
when he played for uh Florida played under urban Meyer
at Florida before he played for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
Urban Meyer famously once said that like he was, you know,
a hothead and a you know a bit of a lunatic,
bit of a wild card, but he could manage him
(30:17):
when he was on campus focused on football, but he
said whenever he went home and hung out around his
old dirt bag friends, you know, he'd fall back into
a lot of his bad habits.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
That's the thing that happens in the NBA. A lot
happens in the NFL. A lot. I mean, it happens
to me. I'm not even like, I'm not even kidding you.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Many people I grew up with that I app physically
cannot hang out with because I have a TV show
and the biggest channel in the world, and I'm not
risking it because I have a dirtbag friend that might
punch a police horse after he walks out of the
Blarney Stone on Eighth Avenue.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Hey, oh my.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
Good, Jimmy Pailer for Fox, can we take a selfie.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Next thing? You know, my superfan is like he.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Should be behind bars defense wins championships. But nobody in
the NBA, at least the guys anyway, weren't playing any
on their personal lives. That's how you get involved in
stuff like that. And again, it's cash. I talked about
this with Jesse Waters last night. Guys who make a
lot of money like cash the mafia. If you're doing
business with the mafia, they ain't send in venmos They
(31:14):
don't have the United States Treasury Department to look the
other way like the Bidens did with all that money
coming in from Ukraine.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Really think about that.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
The United States Treasury Department under Obama flagged one hundred
and fifty seven different transactions the Bidens were involved in
filed say as reports, suspicious activity reports, Okay, SAARs. And
to be clear, it's because the money was coming in
in a lot of fougazy ways. Hey, it's getting wired
into this bank account, then it's going to that bank account.
(31:44):
What the heck, It's gone through thirteen bank accounts and
somehow it's now in their grandkid's bank account. What the
hell do they have to do with a billionaire oligarch
in Moscow? What does Joe Biden's grandkid want with Barisma
in Ukraine? Really weird stuff, Okay. The point is the
Bidens are a pretty powerful political family and they were
able to get the Feds the look the other way.
(32:05):
The NBA doesn't necessarily have that. If you're Chauncy Billups
or Terry Rozier or Damon Jones or God forbid who
else else is involved. But what happens is when you
do in that type of business with the mafia and
it is all cash. You know, it's kind of the
type of situation that appeals to people who don't want
traceable sources of income because there are so many hands
(32:25):
in the pot of their actual income. That's a big
part of this, and it's hard to explain to people
if you haven't really been around it. You go, well,
what is the value there? As Charles Barkley said, you
make twenty six million a year, why would you risk
that for two hundred thousand dollars?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Like I wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
You wouldn't, But there's a reason that they would, you know,
and that's usually the reason. There's some type of stimulant
behind this that we don't understand. Okay, I mean, I
get the scourge of addiction and everything like that, so
it's a big gamble growing up. But I think the
other issue is there there's a personal stimulus, whether it's
a relationship, whether it's a drug problem, whether it's some
(33:06):
type of protection racket because of something you did wrong.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
You know.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
The point is, you know the old saying in fight
club everything that you own owns you Okay, Well, if
you own a relationship with the mafia, they actually hold
the deed on your life. There we are your Fox
across America with Jimmy Phallop. What a first hour of
the show. I mean this pound for pound, probably as
(33:31):
good an hour of radio as we've ever heard. He
is this guy, maybe, but we'll pick it up at
the next hour. We got just Dein Brook Murray, Danny
Pola Shock opening acts for my son Lincoln Faili.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
He is the Friday headliner. And we're just kind of
laughing at the world right now.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
It's been such a food fight of a week and
I've been like stuck in New York. We're about to
go socialist.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Mom.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Donnie's about to win the election. Problem, I know, because
we're gonna lose Andrew Como. We can't play any of
the handsy Andy drops that he Andy. Come on, man,
we're having such a nice time. It was like a resurgence.
The thing about comedy is when you do topical humor,
there are jokes you tell right in a specific news cycle,
(34:14):
and then they go away and you forget you ever
told them, You forget you ever had them. But then
one day, that person or that thing is back in
the news and you get a new chunk of material back.
Like the first time I found out about this sort
of thing is when I was new to stand up.
It was during the Michael Jackson trials. Like Michael Jackson
had gone on trial, like in very very first few
weeks in my stand up career, and it was a comic.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
It's a funny story.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
I knew a comic who did twelve years in jail
for armed robbery and when he had gone away to prison,
Michael Jackson was having like his first round of trials,
so he had really good material because it was in
the news every night.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
Well, lo and.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Behold, he got back out of prison and the Michael
Jackson story broke and I was watching him in the
club that night, and I'm like, God, this guy is
such a good writer. I mean, the guy's like a
night minute chunk on a story that's like a few
hours old. That is crazy. This guy is just hammering
Michael Jackson. And I had no idea that it was
just like a rebirth from the previous era of comedy.
(35:13):
So it's a fascinating thing. But with the Cuomo thing,
I mean we were running like ten Quomo bits a
day back when we were allowed to play song parodies
before you know the law, you know, legal stuff, and
we loved it.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
And you know, we're doing bits in the Cuomo garden.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
And now he's back for a little bit, so we
got to milk it for all it's worth.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
From Embry Where USA, it's Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Oh hot, damn. Back in action.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Middle hour of three on Fox Across America with your
radio buddy, Jimmy Fayla.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
We are really getting after it now.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Justine Brooke Murray, superstar political commentator, former Miss Central New Jersey,
is stopping by to talk politics and the beauty pageant
that's really not going well in Washington. I mean, if
you were gonna the political beauty pageant, I think the
big winner would be the people who didn't watch.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
But we'll hear it straight from her.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Danny Paula shot going to be here to preview the
World Series of Baseball. And of course my son Lincoln
fail around in this thing out and if everybody behaves,
I promised this at the top of the show today.
I was at an event the other night, a radio event.
Shout out to w R seven ten to talk in
New York and they were having a big advertiser dinner
and somebody there told me this incredible story about show
(36:29):
Hey O Tawny and his pet. And it's a story
that doesn't exist anywhere in the media. But it's not
the kind of story that's like sallacious that would get
him in trouble. But it's a really cool story. So
if everybody behaves, you can just hold it together. I'm
going to tell you about it at the very end
of the broadcast when Lincoln gets here.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Can you dig it?
Speaker 12 (36:48):
Can you dig itre you dig it?
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Well, even if you can't dig it eight eight eight
seven eight eight nine nine one zero. The rules of
the show are the same every hour we do it.
Be a public, can be a democrat. Just don't be
a every hour people. Why do you gotta do it
every hour? So, I mean, seriously, Jimmy, why what every
freaking hour?
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Why do you do things like that? You're like a
crazy person.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Yes, because people tune back in at the top of
the hour, they might be first time listeners. Believe me,
nobody who listened to the last hour of the show
is listening to this hour of the show like hell, cook, no, no,
there's just no way. But here we are back in action,
trying to you know, shuffle the deck, as they say
in the NBA these days, and get the show back
(37:33):
on the road. What did I want to talk to
you about in this hour? Well, I mean, here's the thing.
We have Justin Brook Murray coming by. She's a political commentator,
so I've got a venture back into the murky waters
of politics, back into the swamp for a few minutes,
if you will. I had a really nice time talking
about NBA gambling, and we're gonna do a little bit
more of that when Danny Polischuk gets here. But for
a second, anyway, just a second, I want you to
(37:57):
hear this reaction, Caroline let yesterday is the White House
Press Secretary, so we're all on the same page. The
White House Press Secretary for a man who just broke it.
A ceasefire in the Middle East, got the back hostages
that were being held for close to three years, has
secured our southern border. Got an inflation to the point
that they're going to cut interest rates again. Gas now
(38:19):
under three dollars a gallon for the first time since
the last time this guy was president. So things are
going in a good direction. I understand we're all facing
hardships and a lot of people, you know, face the
adversities of everyday life in ways that I'm not speaking
to right now, and I'm mindful of that. But the
point is his presidency on the whole, it's going really,
(38:39):
really well. So naturally, what does the media get up
there to do? Waste the entire briefing talking about the
renovation at the White House.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
The media is a bunch of losers. Just watch this
clip thirteen.
Speaker 13 (38:54):
On the ballroom of first support. You pubbly several questions
about this, I imagine is it a big sort? It
seems that given the nature of all this, will the
White House commit to releasing all of the donors and
how much they're spending and how much of his own
money the president is putting online to this?
Speaker 12 (39:10):
Can the President tear down anything he wants without oversight?
Could he demolish this building or say the Jefferson.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
Memorial in addition to the ballroom and the Rose Garden patio?
Speaker 13 (39:20):
Is the President looking at any other renovations or significant
kind of projects here at the White House? Is it
like an official name, like, are we calling it the
Trump ball Room or does the President have a vision
for what the name for the ballroom is going to be?
Speaker 14 (39:31):
Back to the ballroom. I'm afraid I've just wanted to
ask because in July the White House said it'd cost
two hundred million.
Speaker 13 (39:39):
Yesterday the President said.
Speaker 14 (39:40):
Three hundred millions. Three hundred million, now the operative figure.
And why did it go up by so much?
Speaker 1 (39:46):
So did you hear that?
Speaker 14 (39:47):
Not?
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Hey, the hostages, not what's going on with Russia, not
what's going you know, what's going on with the fedanyl
and the drug boats.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
You're blowing up.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
That is so embarrassing, so embarrassing, and they're trying to
make a contra over something it's just not a controversy.
I'll like, I'll tell you something really quick that nobody
is conceding on our channel. Okay, Dana Perino, give a
credit for this. She actually did make this point. There's
a lot of nuance to what's going on here, in
the sense that he has every right to renovate the
(40:15):
White House, and so many presidents have done it. Okay,
Teddy Roosevelt built something. He built it was called the
West Wing. Then along came Franklin Delano Roosevelt. What he
did is he gutted the West Wing and built it
into its modern state.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
So far, so good, Okay.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
Harry Truman in nineteen fifty two literally gutted the White
House to the studs like he was one half of
a gay couple on HGTV and they were trying to
flip they were trying to flip houses while you watched
ev on the couch. Literally gutted the White House to
the studs, Harry Truman. Okay, and understand they then rebuilt it.
(40:51):
But yes, it involved demolition, breaking walls down, you know,
stuff similar to what you've seen at the White House. Now, okay.
JFK famously put in swimming lanes. Nixon covered over them
with a bowling alley, just the same. That's fine. And then,
of course, into the modern era, the Obama White House
make over three hundred and seventy six million dollars for
(41:12):
a basketball court, knowing the only other man at the
White House who played basketball at the time was Michelle What.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
The hell did you you say? Stop it? These are jokes.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
But the point is the renovations are not unprecedented, the
demolition not unprecedented. Okay, you know what is unprecedented? Are
you ready for it? If there's one part that's unprecedented,
the fact that this is not costing the taxpayers anything.
Speaker 15 (41:36):
Oh wow, that's unprecedented.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
You don't usually get anything for free at the White House,
you know, unless you're a cigar fan who happens to
be interning for Bill Clinton.
Speaker 15 (41:49):
I believe that together we can make America right again.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
But the that one got me. But the point is,
you don't get anything for free. Donors paid for this. Okay,
why why?
Speaker 1 (42:04):
Why? Why? Why? Why are they going this way?
Speaker 3 (42:07):
Because the media, the Democrats, they don't know how to
pick their battles. This has gone on since he came
down the escalator. If everything, literally everything someone else does
is a problem, literally everything someone else does as a problem.
Here's a pro tip. You're the problem.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
He knows what he's talking about.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
That's where the Democrats find themselves. I've been saying this
for as long as I've been covering this. Okay, my
job is going to make you vote a certain way.
I'm just giving you a human take on what's going
on in the world. And every one of you has
had a friend that complained about a coworker so much
that you eventually just start liking the co worker.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Like wait, they did. What can you realize your friends
are paining any ass? Okay?
Speaker 3 (42:51):
And that's been the Democrat mantra this entire time. It's
just grievance after grievance after grievance after grit William shut
up seriously, and you understand. Dana said this on the
Five the other day. Give her credit. She goes, you know,
Democrats don't have to swing at every pitch. You don't
have to swing at every pitch. That being set here
(43:14):
is the nuance, the nuance. I'll give her credit for this.
I'll take some because I've been saying it myself. I
was talking about this with Kennedy yesterday. Trump did quick
pitch the construction like yes, according to him, he's been
showing ballroom plans on the news for months and he has. Yes,
he has said, here's we're having a donor dinner. These
(43:36):
guys are paying for the new White House. Yes, he
has showed us blueprints, he has showed us illustrations. There
has been endless coverage of it on cable news, but
no nobody got out of bed on Monday expecting to
see a wrecking ball take out the east wing of
the White.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
House like that Handlers world.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
Come on, we didn't know that was coming. We did
not know it was coming the way it was. Then again,
it's just construction. That's how construction starts. So it's not
what the media is describing it as is like he
just hit it with a wrecking ball and left it
that way. And this is how the White House looks now.
Like they're being very disingenuous, you know, if you wanted
to gripe about him kind of quick pitching the construction.
(44:20):
I mean, yes, he did do that, but why did
he do that? Come on, Jimmy, what do you mean?
What's going on here? We demand to know and the
truth is and this matters, Okay, As a guy who
is a real estate developer, as a guy who builds
a lot of projects, if you have the legal okay
to do something, you don't announce a start date. Why why?
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Why?
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Because all of the people opposed to it then get
a window to start interrupting it with grievances. That's how
it works. I'll tell you straight up. Okay, I really
want you to understand this. Every single thing Donald Trump
has done, every single thing they've interrupted with an appellate
(45:05):
court judge. Well, Trump just said, we got to deport
Abrigo Garcia. Hold on, some judge in a town none
of us can pronounce. We're gonna google it for a pronunciation.
Some lower court judge just granted an injunction. You can't
deport the guy. And I understand he was a human
trafficker who beat his wife. They believe he's in trende Ragua.
You can't now. The judge in the town that we
(45:26):
have to google just said no, okay. And the point is,
if he gave them a start date for the construction,
every single lower court judge in America was going to
jump in and file an injunction to make themselves a
national name and slow roll the development.
Speaker 7 (45:44):
What can I tell you, kid, you're right, you're right,
you're right, you're right.
Speaker 3 (45:49):
So instead he just got us out of bed. Monday,
Miley Cyrus style came in like a wrecking ball. Kabam
down goes the East Wing a ton of bricks, and
he's not gonna leave it that way. He's gonna rebuild
something else. And every single Democrat that ever exists for
the rest of America, and let's hope that's forever with
(46:13):
the greatest source of good the world's ever known.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
I know we're not thrown a perfect game, but we're America,
the best country in the world.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
You idiots. He's done close. And that's not like a
guy like blinded by patriotism. We know what's going on
around the world playing some country is doing well. They
ain't doing America well. Nobody is. Okay, that's the point.
But as you have this conversation, understand that there will
be a day when the Democrats are gonna be president
again and they're gonna use the ballroom. They're not gonna
(46:38):
say no, They're not gonna say I'm knocking it down.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
How dare he? They all wanted a ballroom.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Barack Obama famously had a state dinner in a party tent.
It was embarrassing to this country. Okay, doing things in
party tents is amazing. I've been to backyard weddings in
party tents.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Amazing. Okay, you're throwing a sweet sixteen, a graduation.
Speaker 3 (46:59):
Part three parties amazing, A confirmation bar mitzvah, Holy Communion party.
I think it might amazing party tenhs are amazing, okay,
but they're not a state dinner. Like you understand, there
is a sense of pride that comes with competing on
the world stage. When Trump was over in England, I understand,
We're not a monarchy with a bunch of horny, inbred
(47:21):
people flying back and forth to Epstein Island.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
That being said, if you saw the state dinner they threw.
Speaker 3 (47:26):
Trump pretty lavish guys, dining room tables about three and
a half miles long. It's about six hundred people sitting
at the table, all kinds of funky courses and pheasants
and faux gras wines I can't pronounce. And you understand
the grandiosity of that is there to declare to the world, Hey,
(47:46):
we are a nation of high moral character, in good
economic standing. We hold you in equal regard as as
a guest. Okay, not Hey, don't wear high heels because
you might sink the lawn. Like that's what's going on,
you understand, Like we were having state dinners in a
(48:09):
tent again. I love a party tent. Jenny still owns
a party tent. I'm not even kidding. Lincoln's Holy Communion.
We had a party tent in the backyard and then
there was like a biblical rainstorm by the way, crazy
like bananas.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
I remember that we have such a great time too.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
But the point is, okay, I'm not, you know, say
anything down talking to party tent.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
But for a state dinner, what are we talking about?
Speaker 3 (48:32):
Why not just have the guy go to White Castle
and hang out in the parking lot, lean on a camaro,
pull on Matthew McConaughey, and days they confused. You know
what I like about high school girls, They keep getting older.
I keep staying the same age. You know, what are
we talking about here? It's a state dinner. So all
of this outrage it just ages so poorly for a
(48:53):
political party because as long as the conversation continues, everybody
consuming it eventually arrives at that junction of oh, a
lot of presidents do this and nobody says anything about it,
at which point they look at the entire Democratic Party
and say to themselves.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
They're crazy. Jimmy, there's our guy fired up on a Friday.
Speaker 3 (49:17):
We're gonna be talking to Justin brook Murray in a minute,
right now, just a little good old fashioned you and
me time. Then we'll get Danny polishok talking sports. It's
the World Series of Baseball. You gotta care, one hundred
and twenty first World Series of Baseball, which makes it
the same age as a no King's protester. Look at that.
That's crazy. Let me give you a little more because
(49:38):
I want you to hear. And this is the fun
This is one of the funniest ones I heard all week.
Speaker 1 (49:42):
Took up with like this. You know, you know I
always say.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Uh, we're living in the death of shame and people
don't feel shame anymore. Gonna play you one clip, one
clip from the View. No God, no God, please, no, no, no,
just we'll give me the one. It's gonna give you
the one. Okay, Sonny Hosting descending of slave owners. By
(50:05):
the way, that's the funniest thing ever. Did you know
that's real? Sunny host on the View calls everybody racist
did it twenty three and meters and found out that
her family owned slaves.
Speaker 1 (50:16):
That can't be.
Speaker 3 (50:16):
Good funny though they like, oh, you're all a bunch
of racists. Anyway, Uh, let's talk about Sunny host in
for a minute. Sunny hosted on the View yesterday talking
about you know, ice raids and everybody being racist and
the color of your scanty garbage. But she says she
went and warned the cops not to harass her son
(50:37):
in her all white neighborhood. Okay, first of all, the
implication is the cops are racist and if they see
a black kid, they're just going to attack him. This
is feeding off that whole canard that Ice is out
there running down skin color instead of criminals and people
in the country illegally. It's based on the canard that
(50:58):
Ice is a bunch of good old white boys that
must be racist because they're white.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
Am I right, you guys, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, you're living in America where
the police forces are minority majority. That's the world twenty
twenty five New York City where I live. The majority
of the cops are minorities. They're not old white guys.
They're not you know, young white guys. I mean, in
my family's case, they're fat white guys. But they're not
you know, some good old boy, you know, racist roundup crew. Okay,
(51:25):
But here's Sunny Houston. And the one funny thing in
point she makes is, you know, she's trying to say
all the cops are racist and the black kid comes
running in.
Speaker 1 (51:33):
My old white neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
But if white people are so racist and awful, what
is she doing moving to an all white neighborhood. I
think again, it's almost like she's saying she prefers it
over the black neighborhood. Wait a minute, here, it is
clip twenty.
Speaker 16 (51:49):
As a mother of black children, I know that black
boys are not given the presumption of innocence and the
presumption of youth. She's calling the police and saying they're
trying to steal her car, and they're eleven years old,
they don't how to drive. And so for me, what
was interesting was I have had to be in the
position where I have gone to my local police department
because I know my son is going to be training
for the Junior Olympics running around the neighborhood in an
(52:11):
all white neighborhood, and I have brought him to the
police and said, he belongs to me, this is my son,
Do not harass him, do not stop him.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
Oh my god, that was embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Sonny host In putting on the size twenty eight shoes,
How do you jog in those things in prep for
the Junior Olympics, Sonny. But again she's also telling you, Oh,
I live in an all white neighborhood. Why, I don't wait,
what's going on? Are you saying there's crime in the
black neighborhood that the Democrats are being indifferent towards?
Speaker 1 (52:45):
You know the crime?
Speaker 3 (52:46):
You say, Trump has no right sending in federal troops
to get under control, you know that crime. It's so embarrassing,
Like I say this all the time. We are living
in the Death of shame, where people get on t
say anything with no factual basis for whether or not
it's true, and accuse you of every single discriminatory policy
(53:09):
that they themselves are the ones guilty of.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Democrats are so full of crab.
Speaker 3 (53:17):
Yeah, they're playing Ente of the Dragon on Fox across
America and obvious homage to my next guests kung Fu skills.
She did come up here from DC on an Amtrak
undoubtedly had to throw a few roundhouse kicks to get
out of that terminal. Justine Brook Murray back on the show,
the crowd goes wild. Hey, how about it? You're on
Fox New Saturday Night tomorrow night.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
I cannot wait.
Speaker 17 (53:38):
This will be my debut.
Speaker 3 (53:40):
It's a big deal, Like I'm pumped up for it.
I'm excited to share you with the world. Like my
TV world doesn't get to overlap with my radio world
a lot, so when it does, it's always exciting. It's
like mixing friends. And you know, mixing friends is weird
because like some groups don't know you the way the
other one does.
Speaker 1 (53:55):
Mixing drinks, yeah, and then you're bar.
Speaker 3 (53:57):
Yeah, well you leave Mikey out of this, all right,
Mike's trying to produce the sh right, now that's done.
Now's no time for Mikey's intervention. Let's just talk about
TV and radio and stuff like that. It was nice
to see a nice to have you back in the hood.
You were in DC for No Kings.
Speaker 15 (54:10):
I was in DC.
Speaker 17 (54:12):
It was seeing the crowd of protesters. It was kind
of like watching the early dinner night at the Golden Corral.
Nobody was above maybe sixty five, under sixty five, yeah,
no way. The ones who were under sixty five, they
were like the typical GW comrades raising their fist. It
was kind of like a diarrhea of leftist causes. Nobody
(54:33):
really knew what they were there for. It was kind
of like the gish gallop.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
They went from.
Speaker 17 (54:37):
Gaza to Venezuela to we hate ice for no reason
to yeah, crime on the streets, Well that's great. You'll
just have to deal with crime because it's a city.
And you know, they don't have to deal with it
themselves because they're all wealthy suburban nights.
Speaker 3 (54:51):
Like, we don't have an issue in Georgetown. Why do
you give you a hard time? It's crazy. Just Ian
Brook Murray's here. We're so excited about it. But I
think that's the biggest challenge for that pro aside from
the fact, as you said, there was nobody there that
wasn't in there late hundreds, is the fact that we
had a world going into the protest that was free
of kings, you know what I mean. So it's like
(55:12):
when you're protesting a made up thing, it's like, what
do you hope to gain? I guess is the question.
And they don't know the answer to that.
Speaker 17 (55:18):
I ask them, I said, you are out here using
your First Amendment, right, So why do you think President
Trump is a king? If he's letting you basically oppose him,
And they would come and they would start making up
all these conspiracy theories.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Oh well, he's he's doing it on purpose.
Speaker 17 (55:33):
He's doing it on purpose in order to make this solution,
like do do do?
Speaker 5 (55:38):
Do?
Speaker 1 (55:38):
Do do?
Speaker 17 (55:39):
I thought like the Twilight Zone theme song was about
to play, and then I kept I don't understand why
why left just feel the need every time they protest.
They either dress up in inflatable costumes like the Pillsbury
Doughboy or they're just full out naked, Like why do
they need to expose themselves to other people? Why do
they have to be so gross or so outrageous in
(56:00):
order to promote their cause? And I ask them like,
why are you in a Pillsbury Doughboy suit? How does this?
Speaker 1 (56:06):
How does this help?
Speaker 17 (56:07):
And they just kind of like toddled around, Oh, we
don't know, we just know that we hate Trump.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
And it's all like as you were saying, though, it's
always the same people, no matter what the event is.
You're gonna get the free Palestine guy next to the
climate guy. You know they're all going to be there.
They're protecting democracy guy, the defund the police guy. They're
all the same guy. So like some of them are paid,
some of them are losers, okay, but I don't think
they're moving. I don't think any of this is moving
the needle, like do you. They talked about it like
(56:34):
if you watch lawmakers, like this was like a moment,
like we were watching like our generations Martin Luther King,
I have a dream speech, and I didn't necessarily feel
like the country woke up feeling that way.
Speaker 17 (56:45):
And of course they'll pan the cameras to try to
like make the crowd look bigger than it actually is.
I go to protests in DC all the time. In fact,
I think I've actually made some friends because it's the
same people, and they'll go, oh, there's that evil blonde
can conservative girl again, you know, and at first they
start calling you a fascist, but then you find a
little bit of camaraderie, you know, the old fart and
(57:06):
his wife in matching a peace costumes walking away.
Speaker 3 (57:12):
Hold on, because I should have interrupted you before when
you were talking about this, the furry thing and the
inflatable thing.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
What is that like? Is that? I mean, I know
it's some.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
Type of weirdo cosplay fetish thing, but is that like
a genuine effort to change politics?
Speaker 1 (57:26):
I guess is what I wanted to know.
Speaker 17 (57:27):
What is that they don't even know what it is
because it looks like a hubilation. That's what the crowd
looks like. And you'll ask them why why are you
doing this? Yeah, and they think that they honestly just
want attention. These are bored more than middle aged types,
and they have nothing to do on their weekend. They
(57:49):
have nothing to do. A lot of them are suburban housewives.
They're the types that you would find in a soccer
mom Facebook group chat, and they just need to find
some cause to stay relevant, maybe have a story for
their kids at the Thanksgiving dinner tables.
Speaker 3 (58:04):
It's so funny, no kinks, I mean it was. You know, listen,
there's this part of me that's like, why are you
wasting your time? But then there's this other part of
me that looked at them and was like a lot
of these guys need the exercise. Get them out there,
you know what I mean, get the steps on the fitbit.
You're right, just Dean Brook, Maury's here, Yeah, get the
steps in. It's like RFK was supposed to make the
country healthier, but the Democrats are single handedly keeping the
(58:27):
elderly aflow right.
Speaker 17 (58:28):
And that's the change that we're seeing. They're actually getting
exercise for the first time. See they're contributing. That's the
one thing they're doing to contribute to society.
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Right, whole New Country. All right, let's do some would
you rather? Since I got here, it's Friday. Just Dean
Brook Mariray's here. She give me a Fox on Saturday night.
Tomorrow night, she's judging a beauty pageant on the show.
Save your comments for the show. We're having a political
beauty patch Fox New Saturday Night.
Speaker 1 (58:54):
But let's do some would you rathers? In the meantime? Okay, fair,
this is a fair. Would you rather? Okay? Okay, fair? Okay?
Speaker 3 (59:01):
Would you rather be a staffer for Katie Porter? Pretty
adverse job? Okay? Or an Ice agent? Okay? Ice agents
under a lot of attack right now. But then just
to be the same, so are Katie Porter staffers?
Speaker 17 (59:15):
I would rather be an Ice agent for real?
Speaker 1 (59:17):
I could team.
Speaker 17 (59:19):
I'm see I'm very strong. Look at me, like these
big muscles. I can take the subway bombs.
Speaker 1 (59:25):
I'm a fast runner.
Speaker 17 (59:26):
I run from the crackheads on the subway of the
Metro all the time. I think I can take some
of these violent illegal aliens. I would be And look
my heels are like ten inches.
Speaker 1 (59:36):
Uh huh.
Speaker 17 (59:36):
Do some kickboxing right there?
Speaker 1 (59:38):
Yeah, Katie Porter, not so much.
Speaker 17 (59:41):
She is a little too big for me.
Speaker 1 (59:43):
No, she gets her hands on you. You got a problem.
Speaker 17 (59:46):
I would have to be a sumo wrestler in order
to handle that.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
You're saying she would be a plus size model, because
what you're saying, Okay, fair, Okay, they do have.
Speaker 17 (59:56):
A segment for that sometimes certain pe they win.
Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
Is that true?
Speaker 12 (01:00:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
All right, good to know. Save this for save that
for the show. I don't want to get a sidetracked.
I have so much to talk to you about on
the show, and I don't want to talk to you
about it now.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
I want it to be a surprise.
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
It's a surprise. Give me this White House renovations. Okay,
I'm sure you've been following this story. I played a
montage earlier. It's so funny that Caroline Lovet did a
pressor yesterday. Ninety five percent of the questions were about
the renovation, not like hamas hostages the border. They're like,
what's up with the ballroom which they're building, Barder, everyone's.
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
Going to use it?
Speaker 17 (01:00:31):
Where else is President Trump going to host big balls
other than a White House?
Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Ballroom Boom? Was that a dose joke? Did you just
does joke? Us? Telling house?
Speaker 17 (01:00:42):
Every president throughout history has used big balls as a
reason to make their mark on the White House. It
was President Obama with the basketball courts, Nixon with a
bowling alley, Clinton with Monica Lewinskin.
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
Boom, there it is, I'm telling you, and so forth.
Speaker 17 (01:00:58):
So I don't understand. Of course, the legacy media they're
going to pretend none of that happen. They're only going
to focus on President Trump so much to the point
that the squawking round table of round women on the view.
Of course, they also have nothing to talk about, like
the No King's protesters. But they came up with a
new words to describe this because Nazi is apparently getting stale.
(01:01:19):
So they looked up the word on air nihilist.
Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
Woo.
Speaker 17 (01:01:24):
That's a big, smart sounding vocal word, except that describes
destroying something. President Trump is actually building something, building a great, beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
Thing, and they botched the word on set.
Speaker 17 (01:01:39):
Actually, nihilists would describe a leftist because a nihilist believes
that life has no long term meaning to it. They
can just do whatever they want without any consequences. Kind
of like all these abortionists and the people tearing down
our statues, kind of like the people these leftists on
the view support.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Yeah, oh man, justin you tell them girl.
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Yeah, I'm laughing at you. Man, that's Sophie's such a character.
But it's true. And what happens is once these words
enter their collective bloodstream, it becomes the word like do
you remember when they were doing weird during the twenty
twenty four election.
Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
Weird? Yeah, it's just weird. There's some things it's just
like weird.
Speaker 3 (01:02:15):
And I guess that they thought that was like a
case to vote for them, because you don't want to
be like on the weird thought, you know. And then
Tim Waltz started moving his hands like the inflatable guy
in front of a car wash, and everybody was like,
all right, maybe that's weird.
Speaker 17 (01:02:27):
That's because they have the intellectual capabilities of a fourth
grade food throwing contest in the cafeteria.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Oh, I don't know, a lot of these women ain't
sharing their food. I'm telling you that. But I get it.
I get where you go. I'm with you there, I'm
with you, But I gotta let you save the rest
of the Ammo for the show.
Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
We got a big show tomorrow night.
Speaker 17 (01:02:45):
I cannot wait. This will be my debut. I've got
my mom watching, my dad, the dog, my leftist sister,
the old dragon into is that's true?
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
You get wow.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
I'm about to ruin Thanksgiving uh oh in the Murray house.
That's a big deal. It'll be an honor. It'll be
an honor to get somebody hit the dinner roll in
your house.
Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
That's already happened a couple of times.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
We went from no kings to no rolls. I love
this the great Justine Brook Murray, there she goes. There
we go back after this hot damn Fox across America
with Jimmy Fala all over your TV this weekend. I am,
of course hosting Fox News Saturday Night with Jimmy Fala,
Hey Girl, and Sunday Night One Nation with a great
Brian kill Mead.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
I'll be on his show, so remind me not to
use any big words.
Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
I kids, shut up me and kill Mead are doing
a Fox News Radio radio event with WZFG and Fargo
on November fifteenth. My man Scott Hennan probably put his
tickets on sale. I don't know how that works. They're
just literally picking us up and taking us there. I'm
not even kidding guys, I don't even know what I'm doing.
Like I was in Fargo once for stand up where
they had me tell a bunch of jokes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
It was great.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
William the guy books me on the road. My comedy
pimp handled the whole thing lovely. Okay, this is actually
like a field trip where I believe we're going to
see the Teddy Roosevelt Library. There's some the meet and
greet thing happening. It's a little more. It's a little
more chicanery involved. I'll get to the bottom of it.
I'll find Scott Hendon over the weekend. But all of
my road dates if you want to see me on
(01:04:09):
the road starting November the eighth, excuse me, b b
bu bu ba on the Fox coross America website. My
actual stand up dates November twenty second. November twenty second,
we were in Pittsburgh. That's a big damn deal. November
twenty eighth. San Louis Obispo out in California. Will be
at Slow that's a Friday night November twenty eighth.
Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
Saturday night.
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
November twenty ninth, we are in Vegas. Baby, we were
at Durango five month old Casino. It's the nicest property
out there. Sold out the first show, We're about to
sell out the second show, so if you want to
get tickets, let's go. And then my last road gig
of twenty twenty five is down at the Palm Beach
Kennel Club.
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
That has become like a bit of a tradition.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
I go down and c Sully and the Gang basically
at the end of the touring season, so I'll be
at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. That show is unfortunately
sold out if you want to see me though in
early twenty twenty six. We're doing back to backs in
late January January twenty fourth in Saint Louis January thirty first,
in which it taw Kansas at the Cotillion And you
(01:05:07):
can get all of those tickets at Foxacross America dot com.
And as we move forward, one more hand for Justine
Brooke Murray and all the women who took part in
Mikey's Babe Parade this week, they always know and you're
getting a double in studio guest. At least one of
(01:05:28):
them is going to be a Marcher in the babe parade,
Danny Polo shock dependent on how you roll.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Some people think he's a babe and we're gonna link
it Faia later on.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
But right now, as we round out the hour man,
so much of what we talked about this week, you know, renovations,
performative outrage, I wanted substance. I want to give you
one more Cash Betel clip before we get into it
with Danny, because Danny wants to talk NBA.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Danny wants to talk Major League Baseball. Danny's a Canadian.
Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
It's got the Blue Jays back in the World Series
for the first time since Joe Order ended it with
a walk off. I believe it was against Mitch Williams,
the closer on the Phillies.
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
My go rough stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
But here's Cash Bettel giving you the actual details of
these raids and rings and everything else.
Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Clip one.
Speaker 7 (01:06:17):
These individuals got in bed with La Casa Nostra and
four of the five major crime families in New York
City to create gambling empires, to rob people of their money,
to extort people, to commit acts of wirefraud, to rig
games in poker games and basketball games, just so they
could make a few extra bucks and then they had
the protection of the mafia in New York around this
(01:06:40):
country so that they could continue this scheme to fleece
innocent victims of tens of millions of dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
So how about that. And I'm telling you right now,
when you understand what was going on, this was a
designed robbery scheme. This wasn't like a poker game where
they were pretty good at poker and they knew they'd
probably win because they were all sitting at the same table.
This was a designed robbery scheme. And if you don't
(01:07:06):
believe me, listen to Clip too.
Speaker 7 (01:07:08):
They literally had scanners at the poker tables where they
literally had professional athletes in the NBA walk off the
court so their proposition bets could be met. Is a
coordinated scheme with Lakasa Nostra and the individuals that we
arrested today, and it's been going on for some time,
and we are going to continue to work this investigation
and those that have been arrested today to make sure
(01:07:31):
that illegal gambling empires embedded with the La Cosa Nostra
are brought down, whether than the NBA or anywhere else.
Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:07:38):
So that is cash Battell looking around at this crime
written landscape and saying to himself, mad as hell, and
I'm not going to take this anymore. Oh fired up.
But one point one point of clarity. Its investigation began
four years ago. The poker ring allegedly began in twenty nineteen.
So the idea that this was started because of Donald Trump,
(01:08:05):
that is a lot straight up. So you're gonna hear
that on other networks like the Stephen A. Smith clip
is my favorite clip. I played it earlier. I can
play for you again when he's trying to make the
case that they're going after the WNBA next. Nobody cares
what's going on in the WNBA. They have to pay
people to watch it most days unless Kaitlyn Clark's on
the court. But here's clip six. Trump is coming.
Speaker 9 (01:08:29):
Don't be surprised if the WNBA is next on his list.
We've seen athletes get in trouble with the law before.
You don't see the director of the FBI having a
press conference.
Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
It's not coincidental, it's not an accident. It's a statement.
Speaker 9 (01:08:46):
Talk to people in the NBA, talk to people in
the NFL, talk to people to the sports They think
this is like the tip of the iceberg.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
You can't handle the truth. Clown stuff and you know
it's even a meth.
Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
He's a really good communicator, as is the highest paid
NBA analyst over there at ESPN. He's he has a
way of saying things that sound convincing and contextually they
are convincing because when he says, ah, we've seen NBA
athletes get in trouble with the law. We've never seen
the FBI have a press conference before. Yeah, you want
to know why. Because the guys who get in trouble
(01:09:20):
with the law, you know, dui, spousal battery, you know,
get in a fight with a bouncer at a strip club,
marijuana arrest.
Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
You know what they all have in common.
Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
They weren't involved in a five year gambling ring that
was broken up by the FBI. Yes, the fact though
we've never seen the FBI get involved that actually should
give you a sense of how unprecedented this is, not
in a Trump way, but in a what these guys
(01:09:55):
did weigh?
Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
Do you understand the.
Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
FBI has never got involved before, because so far as
we know, nobody's ever been engaged in one of these before.
This is really new there's a reason there's that many
people covering it around the world right now. So Steven A.
Smith is trying to obviously protect the NBA. I get
that he works for the NBA, but that is a
statement of zero integrity, like I would, oh God, Like
(01:10:18):
I know he'll probably do Hannity tonight or sometimes soon to.
They're good friends and Sean. I'll hit him hard, like
Sean doesn't let him come on and have a cake walk.
That was an ESPN, that was a home game, Like
Sean would give it to him hard. But he's a guy,
you know, in all honesty, he's look about a paper
champion on this issue. Does I say he's not good
at what he does? He does have very strong opinions.
He does have a big following. It's obviously fifty thousand
times as good as mine, Okay. But there becomes a
(01:10:42):
night in every great fighter's career when he gets into
the boxing ring and realizes he doesn't have it that night.
Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
Okay, For Steven A.
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
Smith, that might have been yesterday, because to get in
there and make the end result of a seven year
gambling ring and a four year investigation about Don Old Trump, Dude, Josh.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
The bit outside. He tried the corner in this.
Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
From Everywhere USA. It's Fox Across America with Jimmy Fayla.
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
Oh hot, damn there.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
It is final hour of the week on Fox Across
America with your main man, Jimmy Thala. Of course, we
have my son coming by to tell us who to
bet in high school football.
Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
That's the kind of classy show we have.
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
But long before we get to the high school games,
We've got a major league game going up up in
Toronto tonight and we are just gonna go right off
the radio rails.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
No politics in this hour.
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
Danny paula shock superstar, Canadian comedian, and a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
Of peppinas step there's a blue.
Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
Jay on his head World Series.
Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
And he is ready to go the World Series.
Speaker 4 (01:11:50):
Crest on the side. I was just at the MLB store.
Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
Happy Friday, Happy World Series. You know the rules, folks.
You're all welcome to call text, tweet carrier pigeon, but
I'm not getting to any of your chit chatting to do.
But either way, if you're listening in, don't feel alienated
by any of our opinions. You don't need to share them.
Be a Republican, be a Democrat. Just don't be a
bad there it goes.
Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
The bad news yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
For the Blue Jays, bad news is they are the
biggest underdogs in the World Series probably in the last
fifteen year.
Speaker 4 (01:12:18):
Yeah, they're like that Chargers.
Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
The good news yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you.
The good news is we don't know who the NBA
bet on this. No, if the NBA is involved, there's
a whole new ball game. Man if Chauncey Billups has
the Blue Jays, that means the mob as the Blue Jays.
Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:12:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:12:34):
I was literally just watching some some poker podcasts from
like years ago where people are like, Chauncey Billis runs
this rigged poker game.
Speaker 3 (01:12:42):
There was an old Street joke and I want to
get to that in the seconds, an old Street joke
about gambling. I'm Polish. I grew up telling Polish jokes. Okay,
there was an old Street joke. It was how do
you tell the pollock at the cock fight, like he's
the one with a duck, Like, how do you tell
the Italian to the cockfight? He's the one betting on
the duck. How do you tell the mobs that the
cockfight the duck wins. So the duck won in a
(01:13:06):
lot of poker games this past weekend.
Speaker 15 (01:13:08):
Yeah, I don't know what these players are thinking, Like
Terry Rose, here is like one hundred million dollar contract.
That's how could this possibly be worth? Like this isn't
on the raptors. Actually, remember John tay Porter. You know,
this guy's on like a league minimum deal. Realistically, you
play you know, sixty games in your career.
Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Yeah, you understand that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Obviously.
Speaker 15 (01:13:26):
It's crazy when like a was it a ninety one
thousand dollars bet came in for his like prop on
the under for a single game.
Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
That is where all the arrests are coming balls and
strikes in major league games.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
They have to just get rid of that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:38):
Yeah, yeah, they have to.
Speaker 15 (01:13:39):
I mean that's the thing is you know you obviously
were somewhat of a similar age, Like I remember when
gambling was this like vilified thing. Yeahre every league was like,
we can't have a team in Las Vegas. Yeah, like
we couldn't possibly adopt gambling into our sport.
Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
It would and they were right, they were completely right.
Speaker 1 (01:13:59):
But the money was just too good to pass up.
Speaker 15 (01:14:01):
I guess the only thing that's maybe good about this
is they can keep the gambling. And then players see
this and they go, okay, like we gotta you gotta
play some defense. We're doing anything like this, like they
will catch us.
Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
So but you know what this is, and I mean this, Yeah,
they're obviously making an example of this. They're probably letting
a couple of them go. I had a buddy who
was a victim of Major League Baseball wanting to pretend
they were testing for steroids in the mid nineties. Yeah,
to we're around ninety eight when they just started banning
minor leaguers for life.
Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Yeah, as a way of like telling.
Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
The American league guy, the major league guys, you're gonna
have to be a little bit ahead of the test and.
Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
Sure, yeah, yeah, well we're taking this seriously.
Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
But that's what's going on with gambling. But we already
know this for a fact. Even class A, who pitched
for the Indians, the guardiansyah, was in trouble for what
fixing balls and strikes.
Speaker 15 (01:14:43):
Yah yeah, just like absolutely just sailing a first pitch
and when one right in the dirt.
Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
And understand you, guys, it's like they're gambling has enabled
them to fix They don't have to fix the game anymore.
That requires a lot more people.
Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
For sure.
Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
You can bet off one second of a game, I know,
you know, or you can.
Speaker 15 (01:15:02):
Do yeah, and you have all your buddies from back home,
and you're like, you know it used to be where like, yeah,
I just have to pay for these people's lifestyle right now.
Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
You're just like, hey, Like, I saw Damon.
Speaker 15 (01:15:11):
Jones, he was in this and basically he apparently like
told all of his friends when he was a bench
coach for the Lakers. He goes, Lebron's out to night,
go bat on Milwaukee, like nobody knows Lebron's not playing
to night.
Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Well, so it's like you can throw all your friends
at bone. You don't actually have to give them any
money or do anything.
Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
You just go hey, like, but you know what if
you're that guy, your friends still want the free stuff,
still want the.
Speaker 1 (01:15:30):
Free stuff, And I get it, But you go, yo, like,
I get it. Look, you know you are not.
Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
Wrong throwing you a huge bone here.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
This is the problem with everything, literally everything. I'm sure
you saw the ESPN footage of them covering this with
the DraftKings add at the bottom.
Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Of course, Yeah, okay, we're removed.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
This is never Yeah, this is the problem with every
single thing being sponsored by gambling is every one of
these things creates a new cash opportunity. Yeah, and that's
what happens to guys that we're talking about. Okay, like
Rosier down in Miami. Okay, yes he's one hundred million
dollar contract, but a lot of stuff like this is
just big cash.
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
There's probably some apparently.
Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
He was getting two hundred grand just like dropped off
of his house.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Yeah, ash to show up and play in a rigged
poker game and make cash.
Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
Poker's crazy because it isn't even sports related.
Speaker 1 (01:16:16):
That's just I know, crime.
Speaker 4 (01:16:18):
Yeah, that is just straight doing crime.
Speaker 15 (01:16:21):
Like you're just like money laundering. You're like, what if
Chauncey Billups has to do with poker?
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
And then you wonder and the answer is, honestly, I
don't have the answer until we hear the case. But
the answer in terms of lifestyle and human instinct is
that if you're that far in deep with the mob,
it's because they have something on you. Maybe not a
gambling debt you can't afford to pay, because odds are
these guys can, but you might have a night life
you know.
Speaker 15 (01:16:45):
I mean sometimes he's you know what, sometimes these dudes
get in over their like I'm sure Chauncey Billips, like,
could you rack up a five million dollar gambling debt
where he's like not pumped about paying it?
Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
Yeah, I mean that's that's what a lot of people
believed about Michael Jordan back in the day, that his
minor league baseball career was a glorified suspension.
Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
I mean they thought the reason he sold.
Speaker 15 (01:17:03):
The Bocats or the Bobcats or whatever was because of
the gambling douy rumors about that.
Speaker 3 (01:17:09):
Yeah, they've been very good about protecting, you know, him
as a face of the league. It's like Otani's interpreter
took a purple But come on, is any serious bookie
in Beijing giving an interpreter rock a three hundred million
dollar line or whatever.
Speaker 15 (01:17:24):
He had, Well, that was the guys who was the bookie.
I don't know if you've seen him, he's been like
making the rounds. He just got sent to jail, but
he was making the rounds. Essentially, He's like, this guy's
like making these huge bets and then he finds out
where the money is coming from, and he's just like Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Crap, this is so bad.
Speaker 4 (01:17:39):
I'm so screwed right.
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
Now and any good.
Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
So my question to you, Danny is is is there
a world where Otani has maybe bet the Blue Jays.
Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
So it's like the money is just too good, just
too good.
Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
No, just the first pitch. And I'm so excited to
have you on today though. In your Blue Jays World
Series hat, it's the best feeling. Oh man, I never
thought i'd wear one of these again, it's so great.
I've never actually in my really like, I don't think
these existed in like the nineties. Yeah, I think where
you could get like the Blues like official hat, just.
Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Bought the hat. They didn't update and march out.
Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
Yeah, it was just the hat.
Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
Now they do it by the round. Every team gets
a build for October, and.
Speaker 15 (01:18:14):
I honestly was going to get the playoff round hat,
but then I was like, you know what, a wait,
I can always buy it after the fact.
Speaker 3 (01:18:20):
Do you know what I'm so happy for personally for
you having made the World Series and gotten the hat
ahead of the series. Last year, I was so happy
for Lincoln having the Yankees in the World Series that
I wanted to get him a Judge World Series jersey
with the patch, yeah, and the greatest thing I could
buy him. And they told me it wasn't coming for
ten days, and I was like, dude, if it ain't
come for ten days, the series could be over.
Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
I know you will have lost. Maybe he lost, and
it's useless.
Speaker 4 (01:18:44):
This hat.
Speaker 15 (01:18:45):
I literally went online right after the Jay's won and
they're like, yeah, ship's in eight days. I don't want
this in eight days. So the MLB stores like they
had him quicker down the street. Yeah, they just got
them into that.
Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
Back in the day when we had Model's was our
sports sporting goods around here, Modell's was would have this
merch overnight immediately and everybody would have it, and it
made sense to buy it because you had the optimism
of the series hadn't even started yet. Sure, I mean,
there are so many tainted articles of clothing in a
sports fan's life when you bought it in the series losing.
Speaker 15 (01:19:15):
Well, I mean there's Seattle Mariner series has been sent
to Africa.
Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Yeah, they're down in Caracas next to President Hillary, President Kamala.
Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
They're hanging out down there. Oh, we know that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
That's a totally great Danny pouloshok is in studio. But
you got to be so optimistic. I mean, I know
the Dodgers are big favorites, but who cares. I mean,
you're here, and anything happens in these series.
Speaker 15 (01:19:34):
Hey, like my my father says, he goes the ball
is round, anything can happen.
Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
And I met Danny's dad.
Speaker 3 (01:19:40):
He was in the green room on Fox New Saturday
night with his mom, just lovely under the bar afterwards.
The one thing about that TV show, which you should
be on soon, you got to work this tech. We
have text, Rebecca, But hold on a second, is everybody's
everybody's parents wind up at the show at some point.
Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
My mom my in laws are itching. Oh is that true?
Speaker 4 (01:20:02):
Oh yeah, it just hasn't worked out whether here because
in Tampa.
Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Okay, but let's get on.
Speaker 15 (01:20:09):
Oh that's too funny. They literally turned on Fox News
first thing in the morning. It's the last thing to
go off.
Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
The funniest thing about that Saturday that's I get I
know those people. The funniest thing about our show. It's like,
my kid will be on, my wife will be on,
my mom is there, Your mom is there, And we're
telling the most depraved jokes.
Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
I've ever heard of television.
Speaker 3 (01:20:28):
My TV show reminds me of like my first Bringer
show was a comment when you hadn't done comedy yet,
so all you knew was filth. And it's your mom
and your aunt Fran listening to you tell gratuitous sex.
Speaker 4 (01:20:39):
Jokes and you're just like, I wish they weren't here.
Speaker 3 (01:20:42):
Yeah, and one in the afternoon you're bombing with disgusting
sex jokes because it's all you know out of the
gates and that is we're doing the TV.
Speaker 1 (01:20:50):
Version of that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:52):
I love her though. No, we're having a good time. Yeah,
So we got that going on. We got an NBA
betting scandal. Uh, there's still a government shut down. It's
it's been such a fun time.
Speaker 4 (01:21:01):
Hey, you cant bet on the government shutdown? Yeah, there's that.
Speaker 15 (01:21:03):
That's the funniest thing about what's going on right now
is you're like, you want some action on the government shutdown.
Speaker 3 (01:21:08):
And you're knowing how dirty the government is with trading stocks,
what do you want to bet there's somebody prolonging the shutdown.
Speaker 15 (01:21:15):
Well, the thing is you can bet, like if you
go on like polymarket or something like, you can bet
they give you like well, the government shutdown and in
the next three days, the next like seven days, and
as far as I understand, like there's no laws against
like insider betting on this stuff because this is so new,
yeah that they probably don't even have any information on this.
Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
So you kind of can.
Speaker 15 (01:21:36):
Just like you know stuff and you go, y'all throw
a couple hundred K on this, like I know the
outcome here.
Speaker 1 (01:21:40):
You want to die. There's a great story. You'll appreciate this.
Speaker 3 (01:21:44):
So to bring this gambling discussion full circle, obviously, in
my twenties, like I was a real gamble yeah like that.
Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
Yeah, I mean even lines are credit at casino.
Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
So like if the month ended and I owed somebody
ten grand I didn't have, I would borrow it from
the other casino, which would give me a month to
win back. This did ultimately end after like five years
of my life with me on a payment plan. I
had to pay back. But I was a young, impressionable kid.
But I on a pay playing with a guy named Vinnie.
Do you know, honestly stop, No, a real casino payp plan.
(01:22:14):
What stopped me? They make it like an installment loan.
What stopped me from gambling is when Jenny moved here
and we bought a couch, I had a tangible asset
to show for my money. And the psychology of gambling
was always if you pay six hundred bucks for a couch,
you get a couch. But if you give it to
this blackjack dealer, it could be eighty five hundred dollars. Right,
So that was my psychology. I never bought anything with money.
(01:22:34):
I worked and lost at gambling. That's all I did.
So Jenny moving here actually what got me to outgrow gambling.
Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
It wasn't like addiction or tribute.
Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
They're like what, they don't get it.
Speaker 1 (01:22:46):
But I can tell you this.
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
In twelfth grade, during lead week, which was like our
just say no week, they'd have people lecture you about
drugs and drinking and alcohol and everything like that. The
guy in my twelfth grade classroom who was crying about
how much money he was down was down ten thousand
dollars less than I would sitting in the front row
of the classroom.
Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
I didn't say that.
Speaker 3 (01:23:02):
I was just like this guy's such as, come on,
what he's talking about. I'm over here turning tricks behind
the bull of alley. Buddy, there's a way out of this.
It doesn't involve lecturing school kids for no pay. Come
on man anyway and talking about prop bets and things
that can go awry. This is one of my favorite
points of gambling, high low and everything in between. There
was an old doorman at Carolines, the now defunct Carolines
(01:23:25):
comedy Club.
Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
Great plays. Shout out to Caroline, who's a big Fox fan.
Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
We love.
Speaker 3 (01:23:32):
My showbiz Caroline Hurst. Shout out to Caroline Hurst, big
Fox fan. By the way, she'd go down at mor Lago.
She's fantastic. The woman who owned Caroline, so stick with me.
There was a doorman at Carolines who was an extra
on The Sopranos, and back then you could bet who
gets whacked on the Sopranos.
Speaker 1 (01:23:49):
And I would swear I didn't talk to him.
Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
I didn't know him, but I would swear he was
in an episode and I heard him talking to somebody
else that Pantoliano's character got whacked that season.
Speaker 4 (01:24:01):
Really he didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
I didn't know the story.
Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
He just said, yeah, like he's in a fight with
his agent because he gets killed off the show this year,
and they were working out of thing and in the
back of my mind. It was just in the back
of my mind, so me being a problematic gambler. Like
a month and a half later, I saw an online
betting ad and one of the come ons to get
the young kids to gamble was you can bet on sports,
you get out on bet You can even bet on
who gets killed on the Sopranos. And I was like,
you don't say so. It was like September of whatever
(01:24:27):
that year was like oh four oh three oh two,
I don't know, yeah, three o two. So I bet
a five hundred dollars bet that he would get whacked
Ralph Sefaretto would get wacked on the Sopranos a five
hundred dollar bet and it paid like twelve to one,
so you might win six thousand dollars. Anyway, two months
later I was down at the taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
It's girl Joanne I was seeing at the Times Is
(01:24:47):
before I met my wife. I was down a lot
of money, okay, maybe close to five or six thousand dollars.
I lost everything, I lost credit, I maxed out my
ATM cards. I went upstairs and ate and my family
would have known as the five thousand dollar roast Beef
sandwich because your sandwich.
Speaker 1 (01:25:02):
Is they're gonna comp your sandwich. You're out five thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:25:06):
You've gone to the blood bank and the sperm bank
to get bus fair home.
Speaker 1 (01:25:10):
But the roast beef sandwich is free.
Speaker 3 (01:25:12):
So as I'm sitting there eating this sandwich, I get
a call from my brother Joey goes, oh wrap, they
whacked Ralphie on the Sopranos. I'm like, no way, and
I won all my money back.
Speaker 15 (01:25:22):
Oh man, it would be so funny if you're watching
it live with somebody and you.
Speaker 4 (01:25:26):
Started just like yes, It's like why are you cheering?
Speaker 1 (01:25:28):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
But instead of watching it live or looking for a replay,
I ran down to the casino and lost all of
it again.
Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
Damn right. That's how camber works.
Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
That's so to wonder what Chauncey Billups is doing in
sag Harbor on one hundred million dollar contract folding an
inside straight.
Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
That might just be your answer.
Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
Yeah, don't go anywhere more tales of cautionary woe from
me and Danny. After this bang, there were this box
across America, but Jimmy Failo.
Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
Danny Poula shocks sticking around. We're gonna double.
Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
We're gonnat Melbourne. We're gonna go to the airport right now.
Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
You gotta do is that.
Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
We're adding Yeah, I'm going to Dallas, Texas shows tonight.
Speaker 15 (01:26:02):
Where are you playing hyenas Dallas?
Speaker 3 (01:26:06):
If you're listening to us in Dallas and we know
you are, yeah, we know. Okay, come let's.
Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
Me check me out. Danny Comedy dot com is still
some tickets available.
Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
I love that. That's tonight and tomorrow. So Danny, you
get to see Danny due my bags packed. I'm going straight.
You have to watch him do jokes and then throw
a beer bottle at the TV when the dodgersmer is that.
Speaker 15 (01:26:24):
I don't know what the TV situation is there, but
like literally both shows run throughout the game.
Speaker 3 (01:26:29):
They are both games, Yeah, but they're big sports fans
in Dallas, Texas. Dallas, Texas gonna have the game on
for sure. You're gonna watch a World Series of Baseball.
Don't forget. We're two years removed from the Rangers winning
it out in Arlington. That Rangers Stadium, which is probably
I think the newest dome in baseball. Uh, it's something.
It's so big, it's as big as Jerry World. It's massive,
(01:26:51):
but it being climate controlled in a seed and stuff
I was.
Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
It was so foreign to me to go there. It
just you just felt like you were in a movie theater.
Speaker 4 (01:26:57):
I haven't been there.
Speaker 15 (01:26:58):
Actually, I was there for the Eclipse in Dallas I'll
get out two years ago, which was amazing. It was
like one of the coolest things I've ever done. But
they were playing and then the wife, I was like,
you want to go to the games?
Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
She's like, not really, well, not to compete with the Eclipse,
but the Rangers so bacon on a stick. Twelve of
those in like five venues. It was so good. We're
talking to Danny Polaschuk. Catch him in Dallas tonight and tomorrow, Hyenas.
That's where the good stuff is happening. His Blue Jays
are going to be playing ball just the same. I
love that. I love that for you.
Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
Oh, I love it.
Speaker 15 (01:27:27):
I can't I still can't believe it.
Speaker 4 (01:27:31):
I cannot believe it. I love unreal.
Speaker 1 (01:27:33):
So I'm gonna run.
Speaker 3 (01:27:34):
I'm gonna be previewing high school football with my son
in a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
Yeah, because that's.
Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
How that is how props we got.
Speaker 3 (01:27:39):
Yeah, I know, I've tried so hard to kind of
like educate him on gambling as a young kids. You know.
The trick is, I was talking about this yesterday. The
NBA created a lot of these avenues pro sports did
by creating so many ways to gamble, because it's only
a matter of time before someone sees them as a
lane to illicit.
Speaker 1 (01:27:59):
Means.
Speaker 3 (01:27:59):
Sure, like we were talking about with fixed first pitches
and stuff like that, but it's all aimed at young kids.
The props are aimed at young kids because it's a
way to make huge money without betting any Right, if
we can get them involved at five dollars a pop,
when they get older, they'll bet fifty. Yeah, you get
them all fifty a pop when they'll bet five.
Speaker 4 (01:28:15):
Yeah. I mean the way you're describing it, it doesn't
seem great.
Speaker 3 (01:28:18):
No, no, it is absolutely positively not good. Like this
will age out as cigarettes marketed to ten.
Speaker 4 (01:28:24):
I actually agree with you on that.
Speaker 15 (01:28:26):
So this will be in hindsight, be like, yeah, this
hole is just like proliferation of gambling everywhere all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
That's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (01:28:31):
It has to corrupt everything, It has to corrupt everything.
So that's where I think this is gonna That's where
I think this is gonna go. But I think the
moral of the story is bet the Blue Jays plus
the two twenty you got.
Speaker 4 (01:28:42):
Kind of I'm honestly like, there's a part of your team.
Speaker 1 (01:28:45):
You can't jink them.
Speaker 15 (01:28:45):
I know, there's like a weird although I did actually
bet them live against Seattle when they were down one.
Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
Damn Wow, don't go back to the well, I know,
to Dallas. You got to plane the cat happy World series.
Speaker 1 (01:28:56):
Day you there it is, get it.
Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
Get about.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
Boom there.
Speaker 3 (01:29:06):
It is Fox across America. But the may Man Jimmy Failo.
It is a Friday going all the way off the rails.
The rest of the way, my son Lincoln fail is
coming by little playground politics, and we will look ahead
to the Clark Rams. They've got a big game tomorrow.
This has been the most exciting fall of my life.
I mean, I love my kids of you know, uh
senior in high school. So we're watching the link Man
play the games. They're battling for a playoff spot and
(01:29:28):
I try to give you guys the highest security clearance
in showbiz and tell you pretty much everything about me
and my family. And it's you know, it's a real thing.
And the reason we do it that way is because this,
you know, this show is all we have is authenticity.
I don't know what I'm doing. I don't really care
about politics, Like I'm so sick of it at this point.
(01:29:48):
I can give you takes, I can tell you who's
winning and who's losing, and who's and why. But when
you look at all the disgusting things that happen this week,
Here's a clip from Tuesday that we've been meaning to
play you since Tuesday about Robert Garcia, the out in California,
the Democrats and their ice tracking app.
Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
Okay, listen to this clip really quick, clip thirty five.
I share this with the mayor.
Speaker 10 (01:30:08):
Over the course of the next couple of weeks, the
Oversight Committee will be launching on their website a master
ice tracker, where we can We're going to be essentially
tracking every single instance that we can verify that the
community will send you able to send us information on.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Ah Man garbage like you just makes me sick. Okay,
ice tracker, so you can track ice.
Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Why are we mad about this because people are shooting
at ice agents. Here's the Keem Jeffries that low rent
Halloween Masquerade version of Obama clip thirty six.
Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
This morning, Congressman Robert Garcia announced the creation of the
new Master Ice Tracker, which will report actibute consination.
Speaker 12 (01:30:49):
What are your thoughts on that program.
Speaker 1 (01:30:51):
I haven't had a conversation with Robert Garcia about that yet. Yeah,
I came pass the buck. I'm sick and tired of
all this bush.
Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
Okay, understand, the Democrats have made it acceptable in their
party to attack federal agents, like that's a thing. So
when you get to that place and you're like, gee,
Jimmy Sure is talking a lot about NBA gambling this week,
a lot of dirty jokes with his son, it's because
(01:31:22):
politics are disgusting and we don't help the world by
furthering the divide. But I gotta be honest, you also
don't help the world by condoning this or giving them
a free pass. What they did is disgusting, and I'll
devote enough time to it to tell you that. And
it's the same thing with the reaction to the shutdown.
We played this clip yesterday when Kennedy was on the show.
(01:31:43):
Representative Catherine Clark, who is the Minority whip and the
Democrat party, Okay, flat out admitting that, yeah, the shutdowns bad,
people are suffering, but it's the only leverage we have politically,
so screw you.
Speaker 1 (01:31:53):
Listen to this clip forty.
Speaker 12 (01:31:54):
I mean, shutdowns are terrible, and of course there will
be you know, families that are going to suffer. We
take that responsibility very seriously, but it is one of
the few leverage times we have.
Speaker 3 (01:32:11):
Oh man, did you hear that shutdowns are terrible? We
take them very seriously, except it's the only political leverage
we have, so oh well, I mean, dude, you are
so full of shit. We take it very seriously. What
does that mean? You call the fire department? You're like
(01:32:31):
the houses on fire and he goes, listen. We take
that very seriously, but uh gotta go. We listen, it's bad.
We take it seriously.
Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
It's not good.
Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
But yet we're not actually going to respond to the
fire itself. That's literally what they're saying. Okay, this shutdown
is bad. We know, families of the inner stuff for guds.
Just so we're all in the same age. Okay, as
we dismount the political landscape for the week before we
bring on my kid. Okay, the government is still shut down.
We're approaching a record long shutdown because the Democrats claim
(01:33:07):
the cost of health care is too high without the
Obamacare subsidies that expired. Okay, now that that's in your brain,
let's go back to the full scope of what that means.
The Democrats are complaining that the cost of Obamacare is
too high. Do you know who passed the Obamacare bill
without a single Republican vote?
Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
The Democrats.
Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
Do you know who passed the expiring Obamacare subsidies without
a single Republican vote?
Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
The Democrats.
Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
So you understand, they're complaining about a mess of their
own making and flat out admitting, by the way, families
are suffering.
Speaker 1 (01:33:44):
We take that seriously.
Speaker 3 (01:33:46):
But the families are suffering because they think this is
the only way they can hold the Republicans hostage enough
to give them back the Obamacare subsidies. Guys, I understand
people's healthcare is going to go up if we continue
to have these subsidies. But you know what else is
going to happen. It's going to continue to go up
even if you have the subsidies because they're not doing
anything in the market to ensure competition and fairness, which
(01:34:06):
will ultimately drive down the cost because people will want
to give you a better product for less money. The
Democrats corrupted the free market and now they want to
give you the frickin' bill.
Speaker 1 (01:34:18):
Oh hot, damn. It's a football.
Speaker 18 (01:34:20):
Friday in the greatest country in the world, Fox across
America with Jimmy Fayala being joined now for a big
high school betting preview by none other than number fifty
eight Lincoln filout of the four and two clock Rams.
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
Yo, yo, yo.
Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
It's a big one going down for the Rams this weekend.
But long before we get there, tonight's Game one of
the World Series of Baseball coach the Dodgers and the
Toronto Blue Jays, which we got to get into. But
happy Friday, man, Happy Friday. I mean, listen, just gonna
come right out of the gate with this. You got
to root for America in the World Series. Come on,
what is this?
Speaker 1 (01:34:52):
I mean, you know what we were saying.
Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
If the Blue Jays beat the Yankees, Trump should invade
if they win the World Series, I want a drone
strike immediately for sure, like at the ticker tape parade.
And I know Pete hag Sath like I'm gonna I'm
kind of guaranteeing it's gonna happen. Actually, you gotta make calls.
Make calls. The time is now, you know what I'm saying.
And I think Otani would be with us. He's Japanese.
(01:35:13):
They love a surprise attack. Come on, well, Pearl harbor them.
I don't know if they have one, but Lincoln failis here.
It's a football Friday. We're keeping with the tasteless tradition
of this week in radio. Dude, this has been. It
started last Saturday with the Saturday Night Show. It's a
very low ren show. Your Mom was on, so we
had to, you know, we dumped it down. It got
a little Craig Kennedy was on telling crash jokes about
(01:35:36):
Mom Donnie. Then Sergeant Slaughter was on. Man, you know
what it felt like, man? You know in Toy Story,
the toys come to life, Like I grew up playing
with Sergeant Slaughter toys. So the idea that he was
like sitting there talking and then choking people in the
green room. You know those guys that do like a
karate hold on you, but they commit a little too hard,
Like you remember when Sean Hannity beat up William I'm
(01:35:59):
like This may come up with the Patriot Awards, guys,
tickets to the Patriot Awards November sixth at Long Island
University right here on Long Island. Hannity is the host.
It may come up if I'm anywhere near a microphone.
That Sean beat up William Rodriguez. I didn't get hashed.
(01:36:20):
And he was just doing a friendly karate demo to
be clear. It was like Napoleon Dynamite with Rex Kwondo.
Oh yeah, grab my arm, the other arm, you know
that whole thing. And he just did like a nice
polite demo. But I kind of feel like he beat
up William a little bit, did he not a little
bit justice for William. But we're sitting here on a
football Friday. We gotta talk football. We gotta talk baseball,
(01:36:41):
but really quick getting past the superficial analysis of Dodgers
versus Canada.
Speaker 1 (01:36:46):
I do think they're gonna win. The Dodgers. Yeah, yeah,
they're huge favorites.
Speaker 3 (01:36:51):
And I was at a Wednesday night dinner this week
war and I was an iHeartMedia event. Jeff Thomas, who
runs all the talk radio ads over at iHeart, is
a la guy lives out in Ventura, just an absolutely
phenomenal dude. And he told me a story I told
your off the air. Otani has a luxury box that
(01:37:11):
he saves for his dog. So like, do you remember
how Soto left the Yankees for the Mets and one
of the sticking points supposedly was a luxury box for
his family. Otani did that for his dog. Legendary stuff.
It didn't actually make you.
Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
Like the guy more. Yeah, I mean it's fun, you
know what.
Speaker 3 (01:37:30):
It makes me think though, if he likes the dog
that much, that means instead of baseball, he's now betting
on dog races.
Speaker 1 (01:37:35):
Oh for sure, he's dog.
Speaker 3 (01:37:37):
Fighting dog races. It saves a box for the dog.
And Michael Vick is there. But it's Game one of
the World Series out there tonight in Los Angeles. That's
a big one, Dodgers in the Actually it's in Toronto tonight.
Toronto is home field advantage. Who would have thought, I know,
and the Scots should have been as the Yankees got
(01:37:59):
beat up, but I just didn't want to see us.
They're lucky they did not want this rematch link Van,
Can we just spare a word for how crass and
dirty the Yankee hecklers were this year so crass.
Speaker 1 (01:38:10):
So me and like Lincoln.
Speaker 3 (01:38:11):
Got to see the Yankees eliminated from the playoffs in
Game four, But I feel like the Hecklers were eliminated
by Game three. Yeah, because it was just profanity. No
one was creative. They were just angry and strong.
Speaker 1 (01:38:22):
There were no jokes.
Speaker 3 (01:38:23):
It was just like f this and Smurf goes Smurf,
my Smurf and all that jazz. It was really bad,
which brings me to tomorrow smack talk. So the clock
Rams going head to head with Flora Park. Do we
know what Flora Park is called? I think they're the
Knights or something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:38:41):
What's their record? Four and two? Oh? The Battle of
Foreign two.
Speaker 3 (01:38:45):
This is a big one for playoff implications. What and
you guys are on the road, home field advantage on
the line. What you guys are a pretty solid road team,
But you play Floral Park two games to go in
the regular season before the playoffs came in. We don't
want to look ahead to the series finale against my
alma Modern Division.
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
I know you're looking forward to that. Ah, it's going
to be awkward.
Speaker 3 (01:39:08):
I'll put on a Rams jersey while I root for
Division I don't want to make it look bad in
front of you, the parents that you know, I kid,
but Flora Park, what do we know about them?
Speaker 1 (01:39:16):
They're fourign two. If they played anybody.
Speaker 3 (01:39:18):
Good, they've played everybody we've played. Oh okay, but we're
definitely better than that. You think you guys are favored? Yeah,
sure on the road, favored for sure. Do they have
any unique situations? Like you know, two weeks ago, Valles
Stream South had a great announcer who sounded like Squidward
from SpongeBob hand off to number twenty nine. She you
know that guy? I not that I know of yet,
(01:39:40):
but I'm sure there's something you think they're working on
a secret weapon. Yeah, we're talking to my son, Lincoln Fala.
Shut up, it's Friday. This is what we do. If
you're listening for the first time, you're like, where's the politics?
Why isn't he yelling about the White House renovations? We
don't do that on this show. It's a grown up show.
We're is having a good time. So the are on
(01:40:00):
the road, they're against the playing the Floral Park. Whatever
we decided they were called, Yeah, the Filipino Lady Boys,
So give me this. I bring them up because we're
going to get to the football. That's obviously the headliner here.
Luigi Mangioni someone your mom has written a lot of
letters too. I can't but did you see I don't
know if you saw that story this week. Luigi Mangioni
before he shot the guy, uh huh, was over in
(01:40:22):
Bangkok and got beat up by seven lady boys what
on his vacation? Like he got jumped like I don't
know if it was like a mugging or he was
into it, like my producer Mikey think.
Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
So yeah, you think that was expensive room service? Yeah,
but you order seven of them to beat you up.
Some guys got their stuff. Man, Every artist has a process.
Speaker 3 (01:40:41):
So apparently Luigi got beat up, so you're saying he
wanted that, So maybe it didn't play a role. But
is there any world where these weirdo Filipino lady boys
beat him up and sent him over the edge. That
might have been it too. Let it hurt your pride.
It's got to be demoralizing to get beat up by
seven seventy pounds bowls dressed as women.
Speaker 1 (01:41:01):
It's embarrassing. Hey, you know those old.
Speaker 3 (01:41:03):
Debates It's like, would you rather fight one five hundred
pound duck or five hundred one pound ducks?
Speaker 1 (01:41:09):
All the thing?
Speaker 3 (01:41:10):
Would you rather fight one seven foot tall Filipino lady
boy or seven one foot tall Filipino lady boys?
Speaker 1 (01:41:17):
How does that work?
Speaker 3 (01:41:19):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:41:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:41:19):
I think I have I think I'd have to be
able to take on the seven lady boys. It's the
kind of hard hitting journalism we do over here. Check
me out on Hannitay tonight. Don't forget Fox News Saturday
night tomorrow night. So give me this. It's four and
two rams are on the road. How did they look
in practice this week?
Speaker 1 (01:41:36):
Looked great?
Speaker 3 (01:41:37):
During practice, they felt good. Nobody got in trouble. There
was no disciplinary running, not no wow. I get a
great reach out for you this week. You know the
great Jim Jordan Russell, who does have a gambling problem,
who runs Jim's communications team, used to work at the
University of Georgia and he wanted to He offered to
help get some of your game film out there to
(01:41:58):
you know, kind of ingreat shiate you to some bigger
colleges if you want to apply. So a link man
think he wants to play college football link. Man's focusing
on the next two games. Yeah, he's such a politician.
Speaker 1 (01:42:09):
Hey, if you win the mayor's race, you gonna run
for president. I'm just worried about being mayor.
Speaker 17 (01:42:13):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:42:14):
Good joh wow, what could mean? You have better media
training than me? Oh yeah, I would have been like,
what do the girls look like? How much money am
I getting?
Speaker 16 (01:42:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:42:21):
Is there any nil money in it for me? What's
happening here? Way to focus? Man, You're a lot more
professional than me. I would have had questions. I would
had questions about that, but we can get to that later.
So it's Floral Park here on the road. It's an
eleven am game.
Speaker 1 (01:42:35):
Wow, I might be.
Speaker 3 (01:42:37):
Missing Kaylee mcanany's talk show for this damn freaking White
House Press secretary. Coolest girl I know, a fun Kaye
mccatty's a home run girl. The idea that I got
to turn down a TV hit, Like, do you mention
that to your team? Like my dad could have been
a national TV could have been hanging out.
Speaker 1 (01:42:53):
You know what I'm saying? Yeah, no, in the huddle
before every game. I'm kidding.
Speaker 3 (01:42:59):
But it's an eleven o'clock you canna have a big crowd. Okay,
you've played in front of multiple grandpa's in the last
few weeks.
Speaker 1 (01:43:04):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:43:05):
You're gonna have family in town. Okay, you've got Uncle Darren,
Uncle Kim or and Kim. Yeah and Kim your cousins.
There's rumors of an uncle Jim siding. We haven't confirmed that,
but the point is they'll be in the crowd, so
you can have an electric atmosphere.
Speaker 1 (01:43:18):
Yep, you're gonna have the clock ram parents hammer.
Speaker 3 (01:43:20):
They tailgate on the road, Oh yeah, for sure, eleven
am game, so they'll be there half in the bag.
Oh you know they started drinking at five pm. By
the way, good night before you're like Buffalo Bills fans. Yeah,
they mashed tables, they tail okate week up, not a
day of week of putting cigarettes out on babies. So
with so much hat, well that's that, you know some
(01:43:42):
of these babies, Yeah, they deserve it.
Speaker 1 (01:43:44):
They've got it.
Speaker 3 (01:43:45):
It's not nice to say on the show this big,
but you know we've met.
Speaker 1 (01:43:47):
Some of these babies.
Speaker 3 (01:43:48):
It's you know, anyway, stick with me talking to Lincoln Faiala.
So knowing all that's at stake four and two on
the road, what is the prediction in this game? I actually,
I think our offense is going to have a bounce
back week.
Speaker 1 (01:44:01):
I give us a twenty eight to thirteen win.
Speaker 3 (01:44:03):
Whoa you think the o gets off the off the
canvas after a tough Oh got shut out last week? Yeah,
they actually let up as many points.
Speaker 1 (01:44:10):
As the defense. Yep. Wow, so they're due for a
bounce back. Yeah they are.
Speaker 3 (01:44:14):
And to be clear, Carry, you played Carry who kind
of dominated the line of scrimmage on the you know,
on the defensive side of the ball. But your defense
was in that game, the defense you probably had you know,
double digit tackles. Oh for sure, you had a lot
of du What did you have more of last Saturday night?
Tackles or beer?
Speaker 1 (01:44:28):
Oh? I don't know WoT Those numbers get pretty high.
You lose track after a while. You're on her.
Speaker 3 (01:44:34):
It's hard for anybody to say. So, no one will
going into Floral Park aredicting a twenty eight thirteen win, which,
if possible, gets you to five and two on the year.
Speaker 1 (01:44:43):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:44:43):
I would imagine it is miller time Saturday night. Oh
for sure, they probably have a party or something. Oh,
of course alcohol free like you guys played beer pong
with apple juice, right, yeah, apple juice, sprite, whatever it takes.
You know, some of that sprite. What does the sprike
cranberry you drink around the holidays? Yeah, some of the
All right, that makes sense, And give me one more
take before I let you go on the world of politics.
(01:45:06):
What did I follow all week? There was a lot
of stupid stuff. Did you see that they're fixing the
White House? It's a little bit of just build in
a ballroom. I mean, you want a president who has parties? Yeah,
because you know what part of this is based on
a lot of presidents, About six of them have renovated
the White House big time. I'm talking like, you know,
the West Wing, the revamp of the West Wing. Harry
Truman revamped the whole White House. JFK had a bowling alley,
(01:45:29):
Nixon put in uh oh jay, excuse me. JFK had
a swimming lane. Nixon pulled in a bowling alley. Clinton
put in a stripper poll. The point is stomp it
hey up there. It is so the point. But Obama,
who put in a basketball hoop, famously had a massive
state dinner. But because it didn't have a ballroom, they
