Speaker 1 (00:02):
Day and the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreurn.
It's Sauntae Morning.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four
or five.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Hi everybody, good morning, Happy Friday. Sometimes on the show,
myself Foreign or Santi like, we'll quickly throw something in
when we're getting to a different story and we'll be like, oh,
that's you know, for another time whatever. This past week,
why did I tell this? What were we actually talking about?
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Do you remember.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Your friend?
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Aha? My friend who?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
So the initial discussion was about my friend who is
very combative with me when I tell her like, hey,
the person you're with might not be doing the right things.
And this person is in a new relationship. And remember
I was discussing how she has never gone to his house. Yeah,
never gone to a department, never met a single one
of his friends, which.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Is a red fly because clearly your friend is a secret.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
So the discussion was ignoring red flags.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
That's right. So I told this story very quickly and
we got to talk back about it Ashley.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
DJ Porn and Santi. I just listened to the podcast
and the story about the lion tamer, the clip and
the fact that he died and came back into life miraculously.
And I am not kidding. I haven't cried laughing harder
than that in a long time, so I just wanted
(01:36):
to I'm still laughing about.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
It, you know, I'm still laughing about it too. My friend,
total different friend. This one was enamored with a guy
who she had never met and never seen. And he
was a lion tamer, is what he told her. And
he would send, you know, like Google imaged type photos
of himself with lions. If I had to describe the
(02:01):
way he looked, I would say he looked like.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Jason Momoa. Really yeah, like I had some handsome.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Boff long hair, could have any girl he wants.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
But he's going to talk to a.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Girl online that he's never going to show himself to
Guys like that like to show themselves. Yeah, okay, But anyways,
she went back and forth with him for damn near
a year. You guys, like we would be at the
table eating dinner and she wouldn't even look up to
talk to me because she'd be messaging with him. He
died at one point and then her his best friend
(02:37):
air Quotes, reached out to her to tell her, Hey,
just so you know, he died a month later, back
from the dead, survived the bullets. It was in Italy.
He got killed in Italy. Yeah, no, it's crazy, you guys. Yeah,
he was shot in Italy, survived after he died. I
wonder if they actually put him in the coffer or not.
I don't.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
I don't if it ever got to that. But no,
she was enamored, you guys.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
And it got to the point where she finally went
to like look up the address he gave and it
was a cliff. It was like nothingness, the abyss. He
didn't exist. He probably was a human that was living
in a basement.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Absolutely catfished.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yea, every time we talk about catfishing, I have a
little giggle to myself thinking about your friend here for
and certainly not mine.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Santi cat, Santi cat, Like this is it's.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Not funny, like you really think about somebody because what
this guy did to her is just horrid. Like he
this guy led her to believe that he was this
beautiful lion tamer that was going to marry her and
love her and other things. People that catfish are different,
like they're unique people. Because you think about the links
you have to go to to Catfish somebody.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
It's not funny. Like, thinking back, I feel bad for
this because this is one of.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
My friends, Santi Catfish is his own best friend, friend adriend.
Sorry sorry, I.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Mean specific just a friend.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
It was a good friend. So I started I randomly
wrote to him on like email or like Messenger. I'm like, hey,
meeting you a couple of weeks ago was really fun,
thanks for coming out. And then I had I convinced
him that I met him at like a bar. He
fell for the entire thing. So I made a fake name,
fake email address, fake everything.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
So we start talking.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
No, I just I was married.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Did you hear that?
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Though I was married? Though, like he had a life.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
So this back and forth went on for a couple
of weeks, and then finally I started sending him pictures
of myself. But I found these pictures on this web
on this website that used to be up called web shots,
where people just posted random pictures. So I took pictures
of this one girl who was super attractive. So I
started sending him these pictures, and then I found naked
pictures of another girl and sent them to him. But
(04:43):
I said, I want pictures back, and I begged him
for like a couple of days. Finally, I don't know
what was in the air, Like that night he gave
in started sending me pictures and pictures and pictures, I
mean full frontal him holding everything like porn like porn shots.
Where I messed up is that I sent the pictures
to another friend and the next thing, you know, these
(05:05):
pictures went viral within our towns, within everything.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
To the pot takes, you know how it is. It
doesn't never get sent to just one person.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
To the point that I got these pictures sent to
me by somebody else like check out, like x y
Z look at him, ha ha. He sent this to
a girl and they got back. Yeah, And I just
pulled up the pictures like I still have them.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I wasn't gonna make this conversation about this, but now
I'm really just having a moment thinking about Santi pre
kids and what he would do when he left this
radio station, because he remember back in the day, he
was crazy cool. Ough we we tried, speaking of dying,
I've tried to shoot that man down. He would leave
(05:46):
here after working a full day and go home to
his wife and go home and he would eat laying.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Down over one.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Nothing horrifies me more than the vision of somebody eating
laying down.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Get up like that's you know, that's not healthy. Get up.
So he would lay down, But think about this. I'm
gonna set the scene for you guys. It's ten am.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
He wraps it up as crazy Kulo. He's home by
let's just say ten forty five. And let's say he
stopped at McDonald's. I did. So he gets he gets
cozy in bed, he lays down, he eats his McDonald's.
In between that time, he may shoot out a fake
(06:31):
catfish text because he's trying to uphold this you know
thing that he's going, Okay, he finishes his last fry,
I'm gonna fake fly.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Going to hop on a video game. No, this is serious,
you guys.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
And he would fake fly a plane from Boston to California.
How long that takes six hours, And so when the
flight was in cruise control, that's when he would go
back to the cat fishing. So for six hours of time,
he would be laying in his.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Bed flying a fake plane. You guys think I'm making
this up on that.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
And he would be cat fishing someone at the same
time that was a married man with a full time job.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
You know what the worst thing was is that I
set to the simulator to react to weather in real time.
So if there was weather in la or fog sometimes
at the circle for hours and that's like eight o'clock.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
It's so wild. Though, Joanne was still like, I'll have
kids with that. She really thought that's herself, and now
they have one hundred.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Dam in ninety four to five traffic.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I just feel like everyone's having me picturing you just
like laying in bed flying a plane that's not real
for six hours.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
He just told me.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
For that, Joyne would come home at like five pm
that house would be completely dark because he was, you know,
flying a plane or whatever, and he'd be so nervous
that she would think like, oh, I was laying in
bed for the past seven hours eating McDonald's doing nothing.
That he would get up real fast and turn the
lights on it and she'd be like, I know you
(08:14):
were in the dark. I'd hold in and the lights
were not on, and he really thought he was getting
away with one. He also told me that sometimes his
landings would be tough in the fake simulator game that
wasn't real, so he would have to fly circles around
the airport until it was quote safe to land.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
It's not real, I know.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
And hearing you tell these stories, like I would like
that person's crazy, that person's sad, person needs the.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Like best example, I said, if AJ came in here
and was like, yeah, this new guy I went on
a date with, Like he told me that after work
he goes home.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
And he lays down in bed to eat and he
flies a fake plane to California?
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Are you serious? Oh? Are you?
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Is this man? But now it's him.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
My life was a disaster, guys, but I feel like
I've got She definitely didn't
