Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, everybody. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I had teased on my social media that I was
going to have a special guest, which I love doing
because your guesses that you give me are always hilarious.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
A top guest guest. was the fireman guys.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I will be like dead buried and gone before that
man would ever come and guest host on this show.
So no, it's not going to be the fireman. Um,
another guest, which made me LOL was Jalen Brown. Like, yeah, guys,
after Jalen Brown was given the key to the city,
he was like, let me go host with Ashley on jam.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
And that would be so sweet. Respect. He's probably already
on his way to Philly. Um, but the, but the
other guests that came in hot, If you predicted it,
you were right.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
The only hint I gave is that the man would
flourish in P-Town.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
He's back like he never left.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Sati!

Speaker 2 (00:51):
P-Town.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
P-Town came up.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
And I don't know what we were talking about.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
And I was like, oh, our guest next week, he
would flourish in P-Town.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
He would love it. I think I would. The last
time I went down there, I met so many new
people that were so positive and added such a different
flavor to my life. Different flavor. And my kids were like, wow,
do you know all these guys? I'm like, no.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I just met them here.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I just like them.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
It's fine.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
It's fine. It's fine. Welcome back. How does it feel?

Speaker 4 (01:19):
To be back here?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I mean, because we've been doing like once a month,
kind of.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
I mean, again, I've gotten so used to not having
to wake up in the morning that like that part
of my life is now completely changed and gone down
that path that getting up in the morning for this.
It was hard. It is really hard.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
Oh, really?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
See, I thought it would be the opposite because it's
like you're only doing it for two days.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
No, but even the fact that sometimes I'll get up
at five o'clock in the morning and go downstairs and
start working, but still the commute, the whole thing around
it is a lot different. So yeah, I value sleep
so much now and I can't even begin to tell
you You don't get enough sleep. You do not understand
what this job does to your life. So I'm going

(01:57):
to tell you, right? My idea is you need to
quit this job. You don't understand what sleep does to
your life.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
No, I know that.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But then I couldn't imagine actually living it to see
because like I know that. We used to joke about
it all the time, like that this sleep schedule is
taking years off our life.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
But like to live it would be different.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
To live it is completely like different. Like I loved
doing this. This was amazing. This was a lot of fun.
I know you feel the same exact thing, but like
sleep is important. And now that I'm getting sleep, I'm like,
I see the world completely like different you were at the.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Dinner last night look at you and now you're.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Here the do you know how many times i say
up till 11 just chit chatting with the wife about
nothingness what.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Does 11 p.m like feel like what is what do you.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Do freedom that's not a joke no i can't i
haven't seen 11 p.m in.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Years well here's a confession i think there's been like
an ongoing joke when i used to work here for
years i did nothing around the house right That has
completely changed. I do the laundry. I clean the kitchen.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
Dishes.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
All this stuff. Strictly because I see so much more
of what's happening around the house.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
And you're not living life through tiredness.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I'm awake.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It's like a daily dose of blow. It's just sleep. Well,
you know, as always, I've missed you.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
It's been pretty nuts around here, you know, people in
and out.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
BMO has been great. He's been consistent on Thursday and Friday.
And I feel like.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
You know, people have written me being like, it's never
going to be Asante, but they like him.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
I like him a lot. And like, I haven't listened
as much to the summer because my pattern has changed
because the kids aren't in school.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Oh, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
But that's when I would check in, like usually around
like seven or eight. But yeah, he's really like entertaining
and I know him from before and I think he's
a great addition.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah, no, he's been really funny. He got like a
real dose of what it is to work with me
because I went to.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
the Clark's trading post a couple.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Of weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And, you know, I was waiting for my email, my
scathing email from PETA.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Cause it would have been the third time, you know,
they write me every time. Um, and this time, instead of.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Emailing me, They emailed him to thank him for fighting
me on.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
The way the bears are treated at Clark's Trading Place.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
And even invited him to go this past Sunday to
the big protest at Clark's Trading Place.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Oh, they're actually going to protest there?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
They protested yesterday.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Do they realize that that does nothing? That does nothing.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Nothing.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
That place is America.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
And also, too, I'm pretty sure that all those people
there wear leather. So those came from animals, right?

Speaker 1 (04:30):
For sure.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I've said this a million times, too.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Show me someone that actually works for PETA.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Like, I want to meet. They're the mob. Like, they
hide out here in the street. They're your peers. They're
just people who say they work for PETA. PETA ain't
paying anybody.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
And also, we all know that Ashley's going to SeaWorld.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
You know what? He's been here for five minutes, guys.
You know I don't go to SeaWorld. Now, do I
see the bears?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
And do they enjoy drinking their milk and honey? It
seems so.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
What?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
When you need to know, we got you.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Three things you need to know. On Boston's number one
for hip-hop. And the best throwbacks.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Jammin' 94.5.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Wow, guys. It's Monday, but it is August 31st. We're
packing it up.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
August.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
How does the song go? August slipped away like a
moment in time. Is that a Taylor Swift song? It's
a Taylor Swift song. Yeah. Here and gone.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
All right.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Let's talk about Plymouth.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Deliberations continue today. We are all on Verdict Watch. Friday,
what did we miss? Defense Attorney Kevin Reddington told the
news that the.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Jury asked on Friday for several.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Pieces of evidence, including two bags containing pill bottles and
a knife. I've told you a million times when it
comes to this case, whichever side of it you're on,
you're going to manipulate the news to make it feel
like it's better for your side. So I feel like
people that are like, you know what? She should get
the insanity plea. She you know, she's not criminally responsible.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
They were like, oh, this is good. They're looking at
two bags containing pill bottles and the knife.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
And then on the opposite end, like, for example, here's
here's a former judge weighing in on his analysis of
why the jury would ask for the knife.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Maybe they wanted to see the knife to see the
size of the knife. Is this is this the kind
of knife that you would grab if you wanted to
fake a suicide? Or is it the kind of knife
that you want to make sure it does the job?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Everybody's going to overanalyze why the jury asked what they asked.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
But you know what? At the end of the day, it's.
It's not up to us. It's up to them.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I don't know what's going on in there. They'll be
back in there at 9 a.m. 21 days of testimony,
85 witnesses. I'm sure you haven't been able to keep
up with this like, you know, I would because I'm
reporting it. But what is your take?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
My take is I do not know what it's like
to have a baby. I do not know what it's
like to have postpartum.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I do know.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
I don't know what it's like to have psychosis that bad.
And I also don't know what it's like to have
my kids killed by my wife. So I don't know
what the timing is, how fast I get into a
new relationship and all that stuff. I know the optics
on that and the things are very bad. But here's
what I'll say. The part I don't understand about this
is why is it turning into a conspiracy theory against

(07:07):
the husband that he has this whole thing and that
he did it and this is like a cover-up? I
don't understand that part. Obviously, the whole focus is on
The psychosis and all that stuff.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Fine.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
I understand that.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Whether she had it or not.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yes. Fine.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
But why is this turning the other way? Not every
one of these cases has to have some conspiracy theory
behind it. The Karen Reid thing turned everybody insane.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
The pink people, I'm like, it's concerning.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
I love that they're supporting her for all these things. Fine.
But are we not seeing the truth about what happened?
And this husband, clearly, again, the optics are bad that
he moved on pretty fast. But what are we talking
about here?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
And that's the thing, like... People's timelines are people's timelines.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
And I think there was a lot of rumors that
there was a rumor that he had moved on four
months later.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
That, in fact, was not true. He moved to New
York four months later, met her like a year out.
But some people believe he was having an affair. Like,
there are just so many rumors surrounding this.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
And there's so many people that wake up in the
morning and really just want to believe that it was him.
And I to those people, I say over and over,
why wouldn't Kevin Reddington have opened up with how do we.
even know that she did this because right all he
has to do is plant like a baby reasonable dough
and that that's it that's that that man knows that

(08:22):
she did it she knows that she did it yes she.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Said she did it she said she did it and
then like at the end of the day we're forgetting
that three kids died and that's the heartbreaking part about
this entire thing it at.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Her hands and again i you know i know how
people feel about the commonwealth and the bows and i
get it But the Commonwealth got the last word with
their closing arguments. And I, regardless of what other people think,
I thought she did a phenomenal job of like painting
the picture of maybe she was of sound mind when
she did it. It's again, it's not up to us,
but it will be interesting to see what this jury ended.

(08:54):
I also found out the jury is nine women, three men.
One of the women on the jury is Prego.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Oh, I mean, that's on purpose, right?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I mean, and how hard would that be?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
I mean, seeing these photos and the 911 call and
all of it, like, uh-uh.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
And you even think about what their lives are going
to be like after this. It's going to be super heavy.
I'm sure a lot of them are going to have
to go to counseling just because of all the stuff
they were exposed to.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Kevin Reddington mentioned that in his closing arguments. He was like,
you guys will be dealing with this for a long
time in your life, you know? So we shall see
deliberations soon. We'll kick off again. They'll probably get read instructions.
I'd say they'll start by 10 a.m. This is the
one that I just can't decide. Everyone's like, oh, it'll
be today. It's going to be fast.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I'm like, is it? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
We don't know. I don't know if you can speed
through something like this.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I don't think you can.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
All right.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
JB gets the key to the city yesterday. Jalen Brown
did a farewell to Boston. His 741 company.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Had this massive event.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
There was over like 10,000 people there.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
It looked insane. Pup was there.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Performances from Lil Jon, Lil Baby, ASAP Ferg was there.
even know it was going to be like that. I
thought Pup was going to be DJing and it was
going to be. I mean, there were full on concerts happening.
At one point, the Larry O'Brien trophy even made its
way on to the stage. But it's a sad day.
JB is officially leaving. Here he is saying thank you
to the crowd.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Listen, I'm at a loss for words. When I got
to this city, I said, I'm going to go to
war for this city. I met so many great people here.
People that helped me in the community have motivated me
on my journey. People that have supported me, even when
I didn't support myself at times. So this, I just
want to say thank you to Boston. Thank you to

(10:38):
the city.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
I love you.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
I always giggle when somebody gets like the key to
the city because in my brain, like back in the day,
I was like, wow, they can open up the gym at.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Like 2 a.m. if they want it because they have
the key to the city. They can do whatever.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
But it's really just a nod to the person like, hey,
our city is your city. You've done so much for us.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Sometimes they don't do the background checks on who they
give these keys to. If you remember. Did he got
a key? Did he got a key?

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Better lock those doors. Here's Jalen getting his key to Boston.

Speaker 8 (11:09):
On behalf of the Fifth South Beach State, Massachusetts, we
give you Jalen Brown for his incredible work in the
black and brown community from Boston 18, Hughes Foundation Bridge Program,
and forever strengthening our community.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
I want to thank you.

Speaker 8 (11:32):
On behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, my guy, J.D.,
this is for you.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
There you have it.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Uh, JB is on his way to Philly. He tweeted
after the event, God is crazy. He will return here
January 21st when the Sixers take on the Celtics. That's
going to be a crit. You already know he's getting
like the longest, most massive standing ovation.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Don't they usually do like a video compilation to, and
then when they.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Come back, they come back. Yeah. He'll, he'll definitely get that.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Uh, all right. And lastly, Lil Nas X, bad news
announcing the death of his mother, Tamika Hill on IG yesterday.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
He can, It's just, like, insane. Can I get through it?

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, sorry. Okay. He captioned the post, RIP to the
baddest ever, love you forever, mommy. She had struggled with
substance addiction, and in previous interviews, he had said that
him and his mother had a very complicated relationship. He
indicated that her addiction affected their closeness, and that all
of his efforts to help her had not always worked out,
but there was always going to be love between them.

(12:31):
We don't know her age, and we don't know specifically
what happened, but like I said, the addiction... had been mentioned.
And he, by the way, recently got out of a
rehabilitation program for his mental health issues. Because never forget,
the last time we really saw him, he was fit,
but he was.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Naked, walking around.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
That's why I was laughing. He was naked and walking around.
Lil Nas X, man. And I also said he wasn't
going to be famous, that he was going to be
gone in a couple months. And like, I was wrong.
You were wrong.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Well, he did go away for a couple months to
the loony, but he is back. So RIP to Lil
Nas X's mother. That is three things you need to
know for Monday, August 31st. You can see my special guest, Santi,
is here joining me the next couple days.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
And if you want to listen and you're listening via
the app, make sure you add us as your number
one preset on the iHeart app. We need it. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Wake up!

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Boston's number one for hip-hop.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Jammin' 94.5.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Hi, everybody. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
It's Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show with my guy.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Santi is back. My DMs are so cute. The phone lines.
By the way, if you want to say hi to Santi,
you sure can.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
877-617-8777. Before we get to my weekend, if somebody's listening
right now and they're like, Santi, what the hell are
you up to?

Speaker 1 (13:48):
What have you been doing? How would you answer?

Speaker 4 (13:49):
I started a media company a few years ago and
it took off and I've been doing that pretty much
full time. Sometimes it's 16 hours a day. And it's
been life changing. It's been rewarding. It's been really good.
It's been a lot of fun. It's been a challenge.
Like starting a business and taking a leap of faith
like that is not a simple thing to do. No,
but it has been a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
And you've had to already fire clients, which is sick.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Yeah, because listen, at the end of the day, like,
could I make some money?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
But the peace of mind that you get by having
people who are really good outweighs the people who are
absolutely insane.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
And I feel like that was kind of the advice
that you got from other people that had done this,
like dealing with some of these people can be tough.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
So in a nutshell, what I do is I help
small to medium sized businesses find their way through social
media and show up every single week in a compelling
way in like storytelling and all these things. And that's
what my business is about. But most of the challenges
I'm dealing with are people problems and personality issues within
the structure.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Of the business.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Have you ever had... Or at this point where someone
doesn't pay you when they're supposed to?

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Yes. You end up chasing a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yeah, I wouldn't like that.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Which is, okay, I didn't love that part.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
You're used to it probably at this point.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
I'm used to it now. There's a system to it
and all this stuff. But I will say now paying
bills and when companies pay bills, it's a lot easier
now because you can do that with a link. But yes,
you end up chasing a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah. And it's kind of a pain in the neck.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Well, it's just uncomfy.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
It is uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Hi, Joanne. I'm just, you know, just checking in. Also,
you owe me five grand.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
But then there are people who pay in advance and
overpay sometimes and like pay for a couple.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Right.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Because they don't want to deal with it.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
And then that is really good.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
But yeah, I, you know, on my end, I'm still
drinking and I went out this past weekend. So I
was I went to the bare knuckle fighting at Fenway Park.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
That was crazy.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Like they actually fight with their hands. I wasn't prepared
for the sounds of that.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
And like compared to the UFC. So they have like
not boxing gloves on, but they have stuff on their hands.
It's bare knuckle fighting. It's bare knuckle fighting, but it's
MMA as well.

Speaker 7 (15:51):
No.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
So they can't kick. They can't.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's like boxing. So I guess there's, you know, you
can't grapple and stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (15:57):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
The way Fenway did it, it was really cool. Obviously,
the way the ring is set up, you can only
have people on the one side. So I feel like
there wasn't a bad seat in the house. That was
like the first part of it that I noticed. But
the sound of someone's like bare hand cracking someone else
in the face, like I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
I mean, it was crazy. And I knew nothing. Like
I didn't know who we were there cheering for.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
The only reason we went is because there was a
connection with the firefighters and a bunch of the firemen
were going to go.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
So we use it as like a date and a
night out.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
We get there and everyone's wearing t-shirts that say Slippery Pete.
I'm like, all right, I guess we're here for Slippery Pete.
I blacked out for Slippery Pete. I've never met the man.
He won, by the way. So shout out to Slippery Pete.
Gave me a nice night out. But I was telling
AJ this morning. So we wrap it up at Bare
Knuckle Fighting. My eyes are closed. If I saw you,

(16:52):
my apologies.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
I was done.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Gone.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
And everybody wants to continue going out. So we.
I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Loretta's was the spot that everybody wanted to go to.
Loretta's Last Call.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Have you ever been in there?

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yes, I've been there because they do country nights, right? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
So we get over there. And first off, the line
is down the block. Like, it's so crazy. But I'm like,
you know what? I wanted to go to Backdoor Donuts
first anyway.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Every photo of me inside of Loretta's, I'm clenching like
a little like brown paper bag. It's my donut. Like
that I'm refusing to put down. So I get my donut,
come back to the line. And we're looking at the line.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
It's like insane.

Speaker 8 (17:27):
I am.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Too old. To wait in line.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Yeah, like, I'll go home to my bed. I don't care. So,
but I'm drunk. This is Smash League, okay? This is
not my normal self.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
So, I call Jess Callie, who works for our country station,
and I'm.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Like, Daphne Poole again in the Loretta's.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Like, I can barely speak. And she's like, oh, yeah,
I think there's a guy, Billy, that, like, you know,
used to work there.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
He's a manager.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
She's like, I don't know if he's there anymore, but
you could just say, like, can I speak to Billy?
I work with iHeartMedia.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
I did it.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
You cut that entire, you went up to the front
of the line.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Right to the front of the line.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
And it's like, you can't miss me. Like I am
so massive and I am so big. So now I
stumble up to the front of the line and I,
I do the whole thing. And the guy's like, no,
he's like, no, I'm not letting you in. So it's
just uncomfortable. Cause now I'm like, cool. I'm not getting
in the line. Like, I just want to die now.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Just kill me.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
So long story short, he ends up saying like, all right,
you guys can come in. But what he doesn't realize
is that just the three of us were at the front.
We're with like five other dudes and, So then the five.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Guys come out of the line to join us. So
now we went from three to eight. And the guy goes,
absolutely not. Like, I am not. So the fireman looks
at me. He goes, just go in.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
I will.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
We'll wait in the line. Like, just get in there.
So what a time in there.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Yeah, it's pretty fun. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
There's no place in the world I'm waiting in that
line for, though.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Like, no, I can't possibly think of a club that
I've been to bar where I'm like, oh, I'd wait hours.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
One thing about you, I don't think you realize that
you're really good at getting to the front of the line.
I have another story. Do you remember when we went
to Miami and that was... The night that that was
a super exclusive party where nobody could get into. Somehow
you finagle getting all your friends in to this party.
And this was a type of party where like you
couldn't get in. VIP list was insane.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, it was like exclusive party.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
And I'm pretty sure you got four guys in. I did.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
And basketball players like tall. Like I'll ask the thing
is like it was very noticeable. most of the time
it's when it comes to the guys like it gets
shut down like it did over the way they saw
these five dudes like absolutely not like girls can get in.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
But you have a way about you and i think
it's probably because of your height and like you talk
down to these men and they're like yes yes ma'am
bring anybody you're not dealing with.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
It yeah so we we got the line we got
in there whoa i mean man i just couldn't get
over how like crazy it was to get in there
it's like nashville in there wild but i couldn't i
mean maybe i don't know what songs they were playing
i was so done every photo of me i'm either
eating a donut or doing a shot like i don't
know backdoor donuts is literally attached to it and they
have a window and they have apple fritter warm donut

(20:00):
so i'm eating the donuts from there i don't even
know if you're allowed to do that it was I'm
still hungover.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
If I were to have a drink, I'd be drunk again.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
So we're still drinking like this.

Speaker 7 (20:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
I thought we were going to be better. I also
thought we were going to change our last name at
some point, too.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
How do I know that was going to come? I
got a real ID.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
What does it say on it? Feldman?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
I got a real idea, though.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
I heard that story. We're on the way.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
We are slowly but surely on the way. I'm not
going to change it before Hawaii. What if something pops off? Yes, true.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
We have to be safe, okay? Hawaii's in a couple months. Hi, everybody.
Good morning. He's back.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Ashley and the Jammin.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
When you need to know.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
All right, dolls.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Monday, August 31st. We are saying bye to August, which
is insane.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
It came and went.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Deliberations are continuing in Plymouth. We're all on this verdict.
Watch is happening. What did we miss on Friday? After
I said goodbye to you, we found out via Kevin
Ruddington that the jury asked to review several pieces of evidence,
including two bags containing pill bottles and and a knife.
One thing I've really noticed about this case, a lot
like Karen Reed, depending on which side people are on,

(21:14):
they're going to manipulate the info. And what I mean
by that is the side that thinks Karen Reed should
just be Karen Reed, that Lindsay Clancy should just be
free and move on. And, you know, she was going
through it and it's OK with what she did. Those
people are like, oh, too bad containing pill bottles in
the knife. Like this is good for us. And the
other side is like, oh, they're asking about that. I mean, look,

(21:35):
here's a good example. This is a former judge weighing
in on his analysis on why the jury would ask
about the knife.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
Maybe they wanted to see the knife, to see the
size of the knife. Is this the kind of knife
that you would grab if you wanted to fake a suicide?
Or is it the kind of knife that you want
to make sure it does the job?

Speaker 2 (21:56):
The manipulation that I have seen online in this trial
is like, next level. You know, it's on, I saw
a woman who went viral because she said that maybe
Patrick got the kids involved in this and they were
part of the plan as if the little babies were,
and it's like, do you even think before? It's so
crazy to me. I've really honed in on this one

(22:17):
thing too. I think a lot of people, um, cause
obviously we're all doing this from the outside in everybody's,
you know, looking at all of the, of the things
Patrick Clancy did from the day this happened and there
on after even a little bit before. And there's a
photo of that I'm sure you've seen of Pat Clancy and.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Cora and they went skiing. And at that time, Lindsay
wasn't doing well.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
I believe she was like in McLean hospital and people
cannot fathom that he would take his daughter skiing. And
I'm like, As a mom, I just want everybody to
know if something happened to the fireman where he was
in the hospital, that man would look me in the
eye and be like, she has skiing today. You take
her skiing like you keep making their life as normal
as possible, as normal as you possibly can. But people

(22:58):
are dissecting every single one of his movements.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Like, how dare he? How dare he take her ski? Well,
she she shouldn't feel the effects of this.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
I understand that there might be an argument for like,
was she overmedicated in all these angles? That part I
can understand. But how did this turn into an issue
that like maybe he's the one who did it and
is covering this whole thing up? Not every one of
these cases is a conspiracy. This isn't Karen Reid.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
Right.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
And it's like, again, I don't know what it's like
to have postpartum and all these things that she dealt with.
And I also don't know what it's like to have
my kids killed, too.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
So like.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
However, one needs to act as a husband that gone
through that is what they need to do. But this
isn't a conspiracy on he is the one who did it.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
I couldn't agree with you more, but I think that
that it's flashy and people want that. And it's like
at the end of the day, you guys, her own
attorney could have come out right at the beginning of
this trial and said that Kevin Reddington at one point
looked to the jury, looked to the courtroom, was like,
this isn't a whodunit.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
We know who did it.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
But I just think people so badly agree. want that
they want people wake up every morning they want it
to be the dad they want it to be and.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Okay but then the other part about this is that
we're all forgetting that three kids died and at the
foundation that's the heart that's heartbreaking.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
No it's so heartbreaking and to co-sign for you i
was very fortunate with both girls i did not have
postpartum either so i i certainly can't speak on it
or know what it feels like um and i think
that's important and and i know that a lot of
women struggle with that and we're not taking that away
i thought it was crazy. You probably didn't even see this.
During Kevin Reddington's closing arguments, do you know how he

(24:29):
referenced he was trying to explain psychosis? Do you know
what he used?

Speaker 1 (24:32):
The Shining.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Really? He used Jack Nicholson in The Shining to kind
of Wrap the jury in like, hey, you remember that?

Speaker 1 (24:39):
You remember how Jack Nicholson was acting in The Shining?
That is psychosis.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
And again, I've never had that. But when I heard
somebody or I think it was her speaking about it
or something that she had written that like the voices
she hears, it's a male voice and it's this imposing figure.
I'm like, oh, my God, it was like terrifying.

Speaker 9 (24:55):
No, it is.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
But here's why my body like fist fights that and
how I can only imagine the jury is as well.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
So many of these.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Experts came on and i think andrea yates unfortunately is
a great you know example of this she heard those
voices for months and she fist fought those voices for
months she she put herself away she was like i
can't i'm hearing these voices it's telling me to do
bad things like i'm not gonna do it i'm fighting
i'm fighting i'm fighting eventually she gave in to said
voices but most of the experts are like it's not

(25:22):
adding up that she heard the voices one time and
acted on that one time that's just not the way
it usually works so i can see that it's just
i can see both sides.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
Yes But that's the argument there that people should be
having about that part of it.

Speaker 7 (25:34):
Right.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
Not the fact that the husband killed her.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
You know, killed like, you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
That's not the thing there.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
And people, I mean, he went to Costa Rica. He
moved to New York. It's like, guys, what would you
do if your whole life was over? Your whole life
was taken?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
We don't know. I never want to know.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Nope, nope.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Deliberations will continue this morning i'm assuming the jury will
probably get in around 9 a.m hopefully well rested from
the weekend um obviously we're supposed to be under this
preconceived notion that they didn't look at a single thing
on social media and they didn't watch the news um
i'm thinking after instructions they'll probably begin deliberating around 10
a.m i feel like people ask me all the time
what do you think when will we get a verdict

(26:14):
i i have zero we will they asked kevin reddington
he goes i don't.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Know how could we ever know It could take two weeks.
It could take two months. It could take two more days.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
You also can't assume that this is going to be fast.
This one is so heavy. There's so many details here.
And there's just a lot to go through here.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
The jury is made of nine women and three men.
We're kind of starting to hear stories in and around
the jury. There's one woman that I guess wears a cross.
around her neck and multiple times during some of the testimony,
she like grabbed the cross on her neck and like, yeah, it's, it's.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
It's very interesting.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
So we will see how that one plays out. Obviously
we're all on verdict watch. If I, if I find
out that there is a verdict, we're in the middle
of a break, you know, I'm breaking in song, whatever
it is, I will.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Keep you posted. JB gets the key to the city.
Yesterday was Jalen's fair. Well, you weren't there.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
I was not there, no. Missed it.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
You're disappointed.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
It was a big farewell in the Boston Commons. Jalen
and his 741 performance brand put on a massive show,
which I did not realize was going to happen. Pup
was there, but Lil Jon, Lil Baby, A $ AP Ferg
all performed. The Larry O'Brien Trophy made its way into
the crowd and on the stage at one point. One
thing I think we can all agree on, Jalen Brown
is loved in this city. Very, very loved to the

(27:24):
point where he got the key to it.

Speaker 8 (27:26):
On behalf of the Fifth South Beach State Massachusetts, we're
giving Jalen Brown for his incredible work in the black
and brown community from Wall Street Youth, Juice Foundation, Bridge Program,
and forever strengthening our community.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
I want to thank you.

Speaker 8 (27:49):
On behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, my guy.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
JB, this is for you.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
It's a beautiful nod to get the key to the city,
but I just wish it held more power. You know,
for me, I get the key to the city. I
want Mastro's at 3 a.m. in their clothes.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
I got the key. Somebody better pop that thing open.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
I feel like this is an old school thing that
they did for so long, but it really means nothing.
It's a nice thing, but I feel like they could
do more, like put up a billboard or something for
like a month.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Well, Wu presented him with Jalen Brown way. It was
a street sign kind of insinuating that at some point
there's going to be an actual Jalen Brown street.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Is there a Larry Bird street?

Speaker 4 (28:27):
I don't think so, but there should be. It should
be outside the garden.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
I was going to say, we might want to add
Larry Birdway as well.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
JB thanking the crowd. I think he was just so
taken back. He was live on Twitch the entire time, too.
And I think he just he just couldn't believe how
big the crowd was. And he's so appreciative of the city.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Listen, I'm at a I'm at a.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Loss for words. When I got to the city, I said,
I'm gonna go to war for the city. I met
so many great people here. People that help me in
the community have motivated me on my journey. People that
have supported me, even when I didn't support myself at times.
So this, I just want.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
To say thank you to Boston.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Thank you to the city.

Speaker 9 (29:04):
And I love you.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
And he is off to the city of brotherly love.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
He tweeted after the event, God is crazy. He will
return here to play the Celts Jan 21st.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
That's going to be a crazy game.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
I know people are already talking about trying to get
into that, and it'll be a time.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Are you going to go?

Speaker 1 (29:22):
I would go.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
You should go. You haven't been to a game in
a while, right?

Speaker 5 (29:24):
I haven't.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Been in so long the bartenders there probably think i'm
dead like that's the only people that i know are
concerned they're like wait where is the one that drinks
all the jameson she hasn't been here um all right
guys another day and another deal for cardi b this
is to the point where i sound once a week
I'm announcing a new.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Like partnership, new deal.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Cardi is making so much money and all these brands
are like, yeah, we want to link up with her.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
She's hot right now.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
She most recently did a collab with Chipotle. She changed
the chip. The new Chipotle chip is debuting today because
of her. Yes, because she was making complaints that she
didn't like the chips. So on her way home from
getting Chipotle, she would stop at CVS and she would
get Doritos.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Oh, that's funny.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Which after thinking about that, I'm like, yeah, that's actually
a 10 out of 10 idea right there. Like Cardi
with that.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
So, yes.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
They changed the chip.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
I'm assuming it's going to be some sort of seasoning
on said chip. But today is the day, the big unveiling.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Now, this is probably why I saw her last week
on the Today Show. I was walking by the TV
and she was doing an interview with them. But even
the fact that she's on there, that's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
It could have been. She just dropped a music video
for Aha.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
I mean, she is every second that I open my Instagram,
she's partnering up.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
She has Zivia. She included Zivia in her music video.
She knows what she's doing.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
The most recent one, Cardi announced that she is going
to be working with Huda Beauty. Right.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
So is Global ready for next week's launch?

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Everyone's good?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I need my record Mix and Master by tomorrow so
I can.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Oh my God.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
I'll never believe who's in the building.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Is that Huda?

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Cardi B.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Oh my God, Cardi B. I love your music.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
Oh my God, Huda.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I love your makeup.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Do you got that new, new idea?

Speaker 1 (31:04):
What you got for me, girl?

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Let's see you.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Ooh, what is this? This is our new EasyPay Duo.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
What it do, girl?

Speaker 1 (31:11):
This is going to make you look ultra snatched.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Ultra snatched. Ultra snatched.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (31:15):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Whether it's Cardi or not, I'd be buying that product.
I love Huda Beauty. I love the setting powder. But
it is at the point now where if Cardi touches it,
it turns to gold. And these businesses are like, how
do we make her a part of it?

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Really impressed. I'm so not convinced with those nails. She
can wipe everything.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
Fuck.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
That's three things you need to know for Monday, August 31st.
The check-in is next, and our guy is back.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
You can call us.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
You can ask us something. You can check in with Santi.
You can tell us a story. How was your weekend?
Did you see me at Loretta's? Not sure if I
want to hear about that, but 877-617-1945, 877-617-1945. Call us.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
We're talking about anything you want. It's the check-in, only
on Jammin'..

Speaker 4 (31:56):
And the jamming morning.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Show boston's number one for hip-hop jamming 94.5 hi you
guys good morning i hope you had a great weekend
i'm on a day two hangover right all my hangovers
are two days now because i don't get out like
i used to so when i do i action and
i have respect for myself so i party way too
hard and then i'm hurting for the next two days.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Hangover for two days that's insane I know.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
I woke up.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
I immediately took a sauna, then tried to take a
cold shower. I was like trying to do everything I
could to get it out of my system. But when
you drink that much.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
I mean, you can't do that when you're creeping up
on 40.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Keep it to yourself. All right. We're doing the check in.
We're talking about anything you want.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 7 (32:37):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Mia is in Taunton.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
Wow, Mia.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
You had a big, big moment two weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Yes, I did.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Good morning. Tell everybody what happened.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
All right.

Speaker 10 (32:56):
So a couple of weeks ago, I was waking up,
just getting ready to start my life and checked my Instagram.

Speaker 9 (33:04):
And I saw Santi's face.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
But, you know, me just.

Speaker 10 (33:08):
Kind of being an everyday person, I figured, you know,
Instagram was telling me to check out something about him.
It said that he actually hearted one of my stories.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
And I was like, is this real life?

Speaker 10 (33:22):
So to confirm that it was real life, I screenshot it, okay?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I screenshot it.

Speaker 10 (33:28):
Because I was like, no one's taking this from me.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, no, that's, wow. So there you have it, a
highlight of her life, son. You liked one of her
story posts. She screenshot it and she kept it.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
Then that means I must follow you, right?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (33:41):
Well, actually, no, I don't know if you follow me.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
I know I follow you for sure.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
But it was just, I was like, I don't know
if he liked this by mistake.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
What were you doing in that post?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Then we'll be able to confirm if he was creeping around.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
What was the post specifically?

Speaker 3 (33:58):
Oh, yes.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
I hope he was creeping.

Speaker 10 (33:59):
So I'm a mobile and private bartender. Um, and I
do like a lot of private dining, luxury events, things
like that. Um, I can give you guys my Instagram
because literally it.

Speaker 6 (34:10):
Was the, it was the simplest picture alive too.

Speaker 10 (34:12):
I was like, I put so much effort in like
all my reels, everything, nothing. I put this one picture
up and I was like, okay.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
So my, what's your IG?

Speaker 3 (34:24):
I was like the one thing that I put no
work in because I was doing.

Speaker 10 (34:27):
That event and I was like, I just need to
get something up.

Speaker 7 (34:30):
For credit.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
You're not getting to the point. Were you in it?
Were you physically, were you in the picture?

Speaker 10 (34:38):
It's a picture of a water pitcher, like a water pitcher,
a water dispenser.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
I don't know if I can say if you did
that on purpose or not, son. I don't know, but
we can pretend.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
There has to be something to why I did this.
Cause I'm not just going to like a random picture
of her, like a water.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
What's your, what's your Instagram?

Speaker 3 (34:54):
That's what I mean.

Speaker 6 (34:55):
I was like, He should have liked something that I
put more effort in.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
What is your Instagram?

Speaker 10 (35:01):
Yeah, I'll give you my Instagram because you got to
see it.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Okay, so it's.

Speaker 10 (35:07):
Elixir, E-L-I-X-I-R dot lux, so dot L-U-X dot M-A.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
Okay.

Speaker 10 (35:22):
And then the funny thing too, Ashley, like, I posted it.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
I tagged you in it.

Speaker 10 (35:26):
I tagged 94.5.

Speaker 9 (35:28):
And then you liked it, too.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
So I was like, I am just getting all.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
You are crushing today. You are crushing.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
All right, babe.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Well, listen, if anybody needs a mobile bartender or private bartender,
here's your girl.

Speaker 7 (35:45):
Yes.

Speaker 10 (35:46):
I wish I was the reason that you're having a
two day hangover.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I know.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Well, you stick with me.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
You'll be hearing from me. Thank you so much for the,
for the call. Can you believe that's the highlight of
her life? You were, you were liking her post and
I don't, that's the one thing about you. Like you'll creep,
but a water pitcher.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
I just realized now that somebody hacked my Instagram. I
need to change my password.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Cassidy is in Plastow.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Cassidy got engaged this weekend.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
We did it.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Hi, guys.

Speaker 6 (36:18):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
Congratulations.

Speaker 6 (36:21):
Thank you. I actually got engaged a month ago, but
we booked our venue this weekend.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I was all over it. I was all over it.
All right.

Speaker 6 (36:28):
Well, I appreciate the enthusiasm.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
I'm excited for you. To me, it felt like it
was just a day ago.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
All right. Well, I don't know if you're lucky or
cursed that you've decided to call me on the day
that Santi's here because, you know, you.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Know, he'll be honest about the venue. Where are we
getting married?

Speaker 6 (36:47):
The barn at Bull Meadow. It's in Concord, New Hampshire.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
The barn at Bullman. Have you heard of it, Sam?

Speaker 4 (36:53):
I have not heard of it, but it sounds nice. Oh,
my gosh. I'm looking it up.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
It's gorgeous. Oh, wow.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
The first one we saw and we looked at two
more since then and we were like, nope, this is
this is what we want to do.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
No, I'm loving the vibe.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Now, these these chairs in here, do you bring everything
in or do those chairs come with the venue?

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Like, is it a blank slate? How does it work?

Speaker 6 (37:16):
They actually include the tables, the linens, the chairs, so
I don't even have to worry about all that.

Speaker 7 (37:22):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
The photos are really stunning. I really like the place.
It looks great. I say good choice, son.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
The place is amazing.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Yeah, it looks really nice.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
The barn at Bull Meadow, if you're looking. Are you
going to do an outdoor ceremony with an inside reception?

Speaker 6 (37:38):
Yeah, we're getting married in April of 2028, so we
have a little bit of time to plan and make
everything perfect.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
And was the diamond lab or blood?

Speaker 6 (37:51):
I believe it was a mixture of both.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
That means it was a blood one, yep. Kids died
for that one.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
No, that means it was a lab, probably. Well, hey,
if you're happy, we're happy, but the venue is approved.
That's a beautiful place.

Speaker 6 (38:05):
Thank you. I appreciate it. And Ashley, I hope you
are recovering well from your hangover.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
And hopefully you don't have a day three of that hangover.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
No, if I'm still hungover tomorrow, maybe I really do
have a problem. Like that's, yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
And I don't know how you do with your two
little ones. I see your Instagram and I'm like, girl,
this is a super mom.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
No, I don't either. Thank you so much for the call.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
I like, I woke up Sunday morning and they were
both like trying to climb in the bed next to me.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
And I'm like, how am I going to do this?
How am I going to mother for 24 hours?

Speaker 2 (38:34):
And of course I, Then hop on the phone with
my mother and she's like, you do it to yourself.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
And you make me sick.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
Can't you just go out and just get a nice
little buzz? Why do you need to black out?

Speaker 1 (38:43):
What's that?

Speaker 4 (38:44):
It's when you go and have an amazing time and
you remember it the next day.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
Never heard of it. Shouts of slippery feet.

Speaker 6 (38:51):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
My guy is here. We're hanging out. We're doing the check-in.
So we're talking about your life, your world. Tell us something.
Ask us something. Anything you want.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Call us.

Speaker 4 (39:01):
The check-in.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
He's back. Hi, everybody. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Myself, Santi's hanging for the next couple days. We're doing
the check-in here. So we're talking about anything you want,
your life, your world. How are you?

Speaker 1 (39:10):
What did I miss over the weekend?

Speaker 10 (39:11):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
That is 877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
The people are happy you're back, son.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Santi, he's back.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
You'll always be Ashley's awesome best co-host that we could
ever have on Jim in 94.5.

Speaker 10 (39:21):
Santi, he's back.

Speaker 9 (39:22):
You'll always be Ashley's awesome best co-host that we could
ever have.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
Awesome best co-host.

Speaker 10 (39:29):
And Jim in 94.5.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
Holla.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 7 (39:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I missed you. I had a moment with her the
other day. She called in.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
She was saying some weird things, and I said, there's
a hotline number that you should be calling, and it's
not 877-617-1945. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I was worried about that.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
You know, the unfortunate thing with Katie, sometimes she goes
into these dark places, and that's the best thing that
we can do for her is, Get her the help
she needs. And I think she does from time to time.
And you can tell now that she seems happy.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Another person who missed you greatly wants to check in.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Hi, Jamie.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Ashley.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
How happy were you to hear Santi this morning, James?
Did it make your whole Monday? 255%.

Speaker 5 (40:17):
Only 55%.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
That's half.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Actually, I said 255%.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
255%.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Now we're talking. Big numbers, buddy. Big numbers.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Well, because he's here, we're coming up on the holiday season.
I mean, it's basically September now. Are you going to
be selling anything? Because you know we'll get some money
out of it.

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Yes, I am. Soon.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I went to the Moscow Fair on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Did you have the best time?

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Yes, I did. I had amazing time. And I took
a tour of Maine yesterday. And I had an ice
cream sundae.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
Oh, my God. I want to live here. You're crushing it.

Speaker 9 (41:04):
Before I go, I want to give a big welcome
back to my wonderful, dearest friend, Santi.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
I love you. And to Ashley, to my beautiful flower,
and Tara, and to Talk Tony.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
Talk Tony!

Speaker 3 (41:20):
I love you guys.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
All right, James, thank you so much for the call.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
Yeah, the fair is gone now, but it was here
the past week.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
I went on Thursday for kids' night. That's a lot.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
What, the people who work the fair, or just the fair?

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Well, they're sus, but the fair itself, I mean, I
just like a weird age, like Layla's four, so she
can get on everything, and Daisy's only two, and she can't,
so she wants to risk her life on the roller
coasters too.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
And then she freaks out because she can't.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
It was so much that at one point I was
taking Daisy in to see the cows while Layla was
going on the rides. And I thought, wow, I might
never see her again. But also Daisy was like eating
the hay.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
I didn't even care. I was like, she was eating
cow pellets. I don't know what's in them, but she
seems fine.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
They're too young to understand that those rides are death traps.
Especially when you look at the people who are running them, too.
Who live out in the trailers, like out back.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Oh, and that's where, that's like the Olympic Village, bro.
Some things are popping off.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
But not as eye appealing.

Speaker 6 (42:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
Lorraine is in Boston, wants to check in.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Hi, Lorraine.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
Good morning.

Speaker 9 (42:18):
Good morning, everybody.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
Good morning, Ashley.

Speaker 9 (42:21):
What's up? How are you? You know, I feel so
good this morning. Mondays, I do my rescue, as I
told you before. But, you know, I feel like I
got a job with jamming on Monday mornings. Like, I
got to check in and tell you guys you're doing such.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
A great job.

Speaker 9 (42:35):
The music had me so vibing this morning. It's So
I just wanted to shout that out. Thank God for
jamming 94.5.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Well, no, thank God for you. Now, you're out.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
Just remind me, you go and you pick up food
that people are like, hey, we're going to throw this out,
and then you go deliver it to people in need.

Speaker 9 (42:52):
Great, heading to City Hall now. But just getting on
my way with the music and Puff Dog this morning,
I was vibing. I almost missed my exit. I just
wanted to keep driving and keep vibing.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
Wow, driving and vibing. He'll love that.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
Yes, that's it.

Speaker 9 (43:07):
Thank you for my Monday check-in.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Okay. Love you guys. Love you. In and out. That's
what she does. People will contact her or the company
that she works for. Hey, we have all this food.
We're about to throw it out. She goes. She scoops
it and delivers it to people. We know you wouldn't
need it. We know you wouldn't need it.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
It's not that. I just think back to when I
worked here and all the food that they would get.
And they would just stay in the conference room for weeks.
Just going to waste.

Speaker 10 (43:31):
This is.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
This is such a weird place.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
And like after having worked here and Santi called me
the one day and we're chatting, he's like, yo, I
like radio.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
It's very straight. BMO says it too.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
Like being back in this world is so nuts because
it's just not normal.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
It's not a normal place. And when I would tell
my wife stories about stuff that happened on a daily basis,
she didn't understand like, wait, you can't do stuff like
that here.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
But.

Speaker 4 (43:54):
The professional world doesn't operate like this.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
I know. Not at all. Not prepared for.

Speaker 4 (44:02):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
That is 877-617-1945. Call us.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
We're talking about anything you want.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
You can tell us a story from your life. Ask
us something. Santi is back.

Speaker 10 (44:10):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Call us. Good morning. It's Ashley in the Jam morning show.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
Hi, guys. Good morning. It is Ashley in the Jam
in morning show. My guy is back. Welcome home, buddy.

Speaker 4 (44:20):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (44:21):
How do you feel?

Speaker 4 (44:21):
I feel good. I feel like I'm having a lot
of fun.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
One thing about me and you is, and it's just like,
we're just right back in it. It's not like we
have to have a conversation like, okay, so this is
how I'm going to do it. It's like, you just
are like, we're just right back in.

Speaker 4 (44:32):
I mean, we did it for so long that this
is like just another day for me.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
So true.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
I understand what you're going to do next. I know
where I need to be and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yeah, I know. Well, welcome back. I missed you. Sam's
in the South Shore and hi, Sam.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (44:48):
Hi, babe.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
I want to be very careful with this, so I
make sure that I'm saying this the proper way. But
today is your first day of therapy. You're going to
be going to therapy for a while. You had a
nervous breakdown.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
What?

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Last Thursday.

Speaker 2 (45:06):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
So it's fresh.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
We're fresh off.

Speaker 10 (45:09):
I actually.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
Yeah, I actually sent you guys an email about it,
but I didn't realize you were on vacation maybe last week.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, how are you doing today?

Speaker 3 (45:21):
I'm having a little panic attack about going.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
Well, you know, it is for the best.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Listen, I'm not going to act like I know what
that feels like, but I'll tell you what, there's probably
a lot of people that went through the same thing
that aren't going to the therapy and aren't.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
Doing the right things that they're supposed to be doing.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
So you even doing that is a step in the
right direction. So keep reminding yourself of that. You could
have stayed at home and not have gone and you're
going and I know it's hard, but it's the right
thing to do.

Speaker 7 (45:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (45:53):
I don't know if you remember me. My mom died
in June. And when I collapsed in my closet with
my mother in law, I thought that my mother was
still alive. I don't know why I can't get past it.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
I mean, because it's a traumatic thing and it's hard.
And I, again, I can't imagine, but I think you
just have to keep reminding yourself.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
And I lost my job back then. I lost my
job back in March after 17 years as a bartender
in one spot because a male manager listed my dress
up after work one day and continued to touch me.
He pulled my jeans open once to see what kind of.

(46:46):
I know this is a lot, so that's why I
sent the email. I don't want to take up any
more of your time.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
No, no, I just, it's not, I just, no, no.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
Stop you there just because, you know, it's a Monday
and I don't want, it's just a lot that you
have going on.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
But all of those things are horrific. I wanted to
be quick.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Yes and will you just i'm just saying you going
to therapy is is definitely the right play and i
hate that you're upset but it's a step in the
right direction wouldn't you agree son why don't you say.

Speaker 4 (47:17):
Something absolutely therapy changed my life i was i was
in a dark place too and it completely changed my
life to the point now where i feel like i
can handle like anything.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Yes i uh I feel weak for having the breakdown
because I'm so, I raised four boys.

Speaker 1 (47:35):
Don't, don't, don't.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Yeah, I know. It just takes somebody reminding me and
then I'm good.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
You know?

Speaker 5 (47:42):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Well, listen, I hope.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
I just want to touch.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
I'm glad that you.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
I just want to say super quick and then you
can hang up on me. Where they put me, they
put me in the wrong facility for six nights. They
didn't let me count the two days. Three-day hold, 72 hours.
They wouldn't let me come Saturday and Sunday because apparently
there's no mental health issues on Saturday and Sunday because
it's the weekend. So I was locked up in a

(48:08):
maximum security facility, no shoes, no strings, no nothing. You
can think of the worst thing. I was next door
to a pedophile, no pedophile with no locks on the door.
That's the gist of it.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
So.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
And all they kept doing was hitting me with Ativan,
hitting me with Ativan, hitting me with Ativan in my
arm one time because I refused it. Now I'm going
to let you guys go and it's going to be
awesome today.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
All right.

Speaker 3 (48:33):
I love this show so much. Thank you so much.
I have a great day.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
You as well. Welcome back.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
I miss this.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
Hi guys. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (48:43):
It is Ashley in the jam and morning show. I
have a major announcements makes on. And so I'm, I'm very,
very pleased with the fact that you are here today
for me to tell everyone this.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Um, it's happening.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
It took a little bit of time and there was
a lot of jokey jokes about it, but.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
This vagina is closed down. We're not where it's official.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
Now the fireman is going for his consultation for the
snip today.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
Oh, The guy's name is Dr. Gluck, which I don't
know why, I just love. I love that that's his name.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
But a consultation is different than the procedure. So what
if he goes there today He's like, I'm not doing it.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
Well, I'm mad that it's not just like a one
and done.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Like, I'm mad that there has to be a consultation
because I am worried about him coming home being like,
I don't know, seemed a little.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Bit more invasive than I thought.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
But this procedure is, it's like a lap. It's so
easy in comparison to say, I don't know, birth twice.

Speaker 4 (49:35):
Absolutely. I have a friend that does these. He basically
put it like this. He could get it done in
like 10 minutes. So it's like that routine for him. Right, right, right.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
And this guy comes as a rec. One of his
buddies went there as well. So I'm just, I'm very excited.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
But are you sure that you guys are done? Are
you really sure?

Speaker 1 (49:54):
I am 100,000 million percent sure. And not that I
don't say that with great sadness.

Speaker 4 (49:59):
I do.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
And it like it really breaks my heart because I
look at Daisy now and I'm like, she's.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Like a toddler now. She's not really a baby anymore.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
She's always going to be my baby because she's the
youngest one.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
But it does like it. It breaks my heart.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
And if I was younger, there's no question that regardless
of the 8000 miscarriages.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
I would try again.

Speaker 2 (50:16):
But.

Speaker 1 (50:18):
It is with great sadness that I say it. Baby
shops closed.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
He has to sit there and get a little snip snip.
Just the mental thought of it is tough for a guy.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
That is one thing that I have really learned throughout
this process. Because to me, I'm like, what do you mean?
I've had how many miscarriages? You have to do this
for me.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
I need this. And he's like, I will. But he's
a thousand percent afraid.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
I can feel it. And then it's like, do you
plan on... Do you just want there to be the
option of you having more?

Speaker 1 (50:49):
Like, what is it?

Speaker 4 (50:49):
Like, why? It's the mental thought of getting like that
in that area. Yes, that's exactly it. Because it's very sensitive. Now,
as a guy, I can't picture what it's like for
you guys to give birth and all that stuff, because
I don't understand that. But for us, we automatically when
we hear this. We want to like protect all the
stuff down there.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Oh, for sure.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
And I've actually in all my time never seen him
like be more like he's definitely combative when we have
the conversations. He's not happy about it. He's going to
do it because he's going to do it for me.
But like in our situation, but he's not happy.

Speaker 4 (51:18):
But what I have heard is on the other end
of this, you can have so much more fun without
being careful. And the club is getting shot up.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
It's going to be a free for all, which I'm
also afraid of.

Speaker 1 (51:33):
But there you have it, everybody.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Again, with great sadness, the baby shop of one Ashley
Feldman is officially closed. The fireman having his consultation for
the snip today.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Shout out to Dr.

Speaker 5 (51:44):
Gluck.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Seems like a nice guy.
