Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Going to really hope for you that no one passes today.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
For the love of God, dude.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
It's like not funny, but every time I see somebody
has died, I'm like, well, this man ain't going to
get a break today.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Dude, this is the craziest three-day run.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
No, it has been nuts.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Like in this morning on my way in, I started
getting a ton of messages being like the king of
Norway has died.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I was like, I'm sorry for Norway.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
No, I'm sorry for that, man.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Sorry for your loss. But I can't.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
I don't know that, man. I didn't even know they
had a king until just now. No, same.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
We're going to talk about Peter Cullen here in a second.
Optimus Prime.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
My dog.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
But I saw that. OK, I'm driving.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
I see that news and I'm like, because behind the scenes,
you and I were kind of having a conversation of like,
who makes the cut?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Like where do we draw the line?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Like you can't possibly do a video for every single
celebrity that dies.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
You would have no time to breathe.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I got a message this morning. They were like, are
you going to do a video for Kyle Busch? I
was like, he died in May.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Going backwards what do we do everybody relax.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Uh so i saw that and i you know i'm
like there's no way you ended up texting me about
it and i'm like listen we had this combo like does.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
He make the cut i don't know you immediately followed
up with.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
You go i guess he voiced eeyore in winnie the
pooh i said get to working honey you can't the
man that voiced eeyore he gets a video i don't
care Yeah, it was.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
And it's funny because like I'll usually just do the
ones that are going to be that are like trending.
So like everybody's kind of feeling away.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
But dude, this one, I didn't expect it to be
that big. I knew he voiced Optimus.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
That was the big one that I saw.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah. And then everybody was like, oh, and it's Eeyore.
And like this guy and this guy. I was like, oh,
my God.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
This guy's been.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
And if you guys don't know, BMO has this massive
social media following at BMO the Prince, and you do
this thing where you're like a year, and then the
year either welcomes... It's like a back and forth with
the year and someone dying to the year.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Do they yell at the year? It's basically I've made
heaven like a.
A company.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
God's the CEO.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And every year he has to hire someone to run
the year.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
Right.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Each year has failed in the 2020s. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
The years are not doing well.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah. They're not. So the last three days he's been
having fits.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You've been working.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Now, you mentioned this yesterday and it was something I
wanted to ask you. You were like, yeah, I would
go into my closet that has like all of my costumes.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
What's that thing looking like? Is that like busting at
the seams?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
It was bad. I think earlier this year, maybe. I
like one Sunday I said to Sarah, I was like,
don't talk to me for like six hours.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Right.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
And I just went in and got rid of a
bunch of stuff and like reorganized. It's there's weird props.
There's like, it's a weird situation.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Has anybody died?

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Then you're like, damn, I'm going to have to go by. Like,
like when Tim Curry died, we were like, I got
to go get it.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
A clown costume?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
It's happened a couple times. But it's usually been like
prop stuff, because costume stuff takes too long to get.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, true.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I was planning for it.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, where are you going to go? A Spirit Halloween
isn't open all year long.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
With all this, I was going to get a Grim
Reaper one, but Amazon was like, it'll be here next week.
And I was like, never mind.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
No, you are the Grim Reaper. That's why I said
to you yesterday. I was like, there he is.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Well, we'll see who.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
No longer joins us today.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Everybody be fine today. Let's count the King of Norway
as your today. We're not doing a video for the
King of Norway.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
May he rest in peace.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Sorry for him.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
And that sucks for the Norwegians.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
But I guess I don't know. Was he a good guy?
A bad guy? I don't know. Do they like him? Whatever.
I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
But I'm sorry to that man.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
You're working, doing important things.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I am coming off the fair and I said this
on my Instagram last night, but like I've done 800
theme parks plus the fair in the last 10 days.
Like big mama, I'm shutting down. I can't anymore. I
just can't do it. At one point yesterday, the little
one was laying on the ground in hay and poop

(04:04):
from where the cows and the pigs were and the goats.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
And I just stopped caring. I didn't care. I said...
My mom's like, Ashley, there's antibacterial. I go, for her
whole body? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
What are we doing?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
What am I putting on my hands?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
What about the face? You're going to drop her in
a vat.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Like, quite literally. And I bring it around and I
spray it, but it's just like, it's crazy. And listen.
The fair rides scare me.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
As they should.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I love rides and I'll go on anything, but we
went on this bus thing that was spinning and I
was like, this bus is going to end up in
the sky.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I just felt like it was going to fly off.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Here's the problem. Because if you go to Six Flags,
that's been there. That's established. They have maintenance. They have
a crew that works on this thing. When you go
to a fair, it's a bunch of fair people that
have just like, you know, you see the people that
have put it together.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Just look at the people.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
You see the pins that they put into the slide
to keep it together.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
There was duct tape on the one side. I went
on it twice and I'm just like, I am risking
it for the biscuit.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
What is wrong with you? I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
You need supervision. Of all the rides that I do, it's. Really, actually,
the Ferris wheel that scares me the most.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Because you're up there and then you have to wait
while the others get out. And it like I feel
like is a stupid thing.

Speaker 7 (05:20):
Right.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
I wish there was a better way.

Speaker 8 (05:22):
Well, what else?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I'm just going to dive out when they get to
the bottom.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
That's why I hate that ride.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
The line's always long and then you get stuck at
the top and then, God forbid, the thing breaks down.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Also, why have people turn that into like a romantic thing?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Why is that always like a meet cute? I was like,
let's go on the Ferris wheel.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Meanwhile, my hands have marks because I'm squeezing the side
of the bin.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I've never been on a date on a Ferris wheel
thinking I look cute while I'm ready to vomit.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
What a story to tell, though. If you had to
do a video about me dying in the Ferris wheel,
that would be cute. I mean, figure something out.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Are you enough to do a video about?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
It's a good question. King of Norway, Ashley. I don't
know if I would make the cut. Hi, everybody. Happy Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (06:08):
When you need to know, we got you. Three things
you need to know. On Boston's number one for hip-hop.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
And the best throwbacks. Jammin' 94.5. Friday, August 28th.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
And yesterday, BMO and I were both like, we're, as
soon as the show's over, we have things to do.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
We're getting out of here. And then the closing argument
started in the Lindsay Clancy trial. We were just glued.
We were standing, actually, now that I think about it.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
We weren't even sitting.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
We were just standing.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Didn't want to miss a minute. After 21 days of testimony,
85 witnesses. 85?

Speaker 9 (06:38):
85.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
We are officially in verdict mode. We're waiting after closing
statements happened yesterday. Let's start first up with Big Red.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Here is Kevin Reddington.

Speaker 10 (06:53):
And when you consider the journals, you know, watch the
movie The Shining with Jack Nicholson. Remember the scene where
he's sitting there? in a state of complete psychosis, and
he's writing a book and he's typing, and the wife
finds the book and opens it up and looks at
it and says, all work and no play makes Jack

(07:13):
a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack
a dull boy. Repeat it after repeat it after repeat it.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
And he says, do you like it?

Speaker 10 (07:20):
You look at the records of her Googling drugs. You
look at how many times, how many hours of the
night and the afternoon she's looking this stuff up. in
between taking care of the family, in between all the
stuff that was going on with visiting doctors, seeing doctors,
going to Rhode Island.

Speaker 11 (07:39):
Being told, no, we can't help you, calling a suicide hotline,
we can't help you, calling another.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Suicide hotline.

Speaker 10 (07:45):
We can't help you.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
My God, what does she have to do?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
The inclusion of The Shining in Big Red's closing arguments
was wildly absurd to me, but it's one of my
favorite films.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
So I understood the reference. I got it. I mean,
if you're somebody that has seen that film, I don't
know if people in the jury box had, but you
know that he, Jack... Nicholson was in a psychosis in that,
in that film. Listen, I want to first, I'll start
by saying, I think Kevin Reddington did his job in
a sense of like, he kind of walked us through

(08:15):
the mom that Lindsay was and like who she then
was in that moment.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Like he painted the picture of, she was a good
loving mother. She started to get sick.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
It changed in a very quick period of time. Never
once in that though, Did I not think that Lindsay
Clancy did this?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
And there are so many people online that are like,
she didn't do this and she was framed. Why wouldn't
he have said that then?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Because he didn't even come close to saying that.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
And like, listen, if you take five minutes to look
at that dude, he is if he had even the
slightest sliver of a way to be like, she did
not do this.

Speaker 10 (08:49):
Right.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
He would be pounding that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Screaming it from the rooftops. I mean, obviously.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
So anyways, you know, the way this works, the defense
goes first for their closing arguments and then the Commonwealth.
And just like in life. You want the last word, right?
Like we're in an argument. You always want the last word.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
And one thing I saw.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
A lot of people talked about, I guess, Kevin Reddington,
after he finished his closing arguments, he kind of went
the long way to go and sit down. And the
Commonwealth stood up, stared at him, and she waited all
the way until that man was completely seated and looking
face front.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
And then she began.

Speaker 12 (09:27):
The issue is whether at the time she killed Cora,
Dawson and Cowan, she knew the difference between right and
wrong and whether she could conform her behavior to the
requirements of the law. This case is not about our
mental health system or how it treats women or what's
in the DSM-5 and what's not. That's a distraction to

(09:48):
get you angry and passionate about an important issue, but
an issue that's not on trial here. What's on trial here,
what the issue is here, is what Lindsay Clancy did
the night of January 24th, 2023, and what her mental
state was at the time. And you can use her
psychological history and records, the treatment records. She had more

(10:10):
access to treatment and care and support than a lot
of people do.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
This wasn't a woman.

Speaker 12 (10:17):
suffering from a lack of care, a lack of resources.
She had an abundance of help, an abundance of care.
She had all of that and more.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
I obviously think it depends on what side you're on
on this, because I do think there are some people
that are like Lindsay Clancy blind that they can't even
be like, but I thought the Commonwealth also did a
phenomenal job. I thought they both had really good points
inside of their closing arguments.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I also thought some was lacking on both sides. But
who am I? I'm not in the jury box, so
it doesn't really matter.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
But I do think the Commonwealth left that jury with like,
wait a second, I actually think she did know what
she was doing.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Which is all you need. Yeah, she took the lives
of these three babies. She did it methodically. She knew
what she was going to do.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
She took one into the office and then she brought
the other one down so that the other one wouldn't
see the one in the office.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
I thought she did a great job. I was left like, well, damn. Well, damn.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
If you were on the jury, where do you think
it lands?

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Hung?

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Because I see both sides. I can understand each argument,
and I don't know how they do this. There are
people online predicting that they deliberate today and give us
a verdict.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
No. There's no way.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
On what planet?

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Do I think they want to be done with this
and out of there?

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Because how depressing has this been? I mean, Kevin Reddington
even brought that up. You have had to see some
of the most horrific things. Anybody should say, look, this
will change you for your life. But I just don't
think it's as easy as they come in there and
they sit and they're like, you know what?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
We got this. We all agree.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Yeah, we would be nuts to me because then maybe
we're the idiots. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
But like, there's no way people could agree on an app.
You know what I mean? We'd be all fighting about
what we want. So, I mean, we'll see.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
That's one thing you can never predict, how long they
will be deliberating. But they're going to be back at
it this morning. Jury is made up of 12 women
and six men. I also saw a bunch of people
saying that the women in there were leaning towards the
older end.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
I don't know if that means anything. A couple younger women.
But we shall see.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I also saw that many people in the courtroom said
that The jury was dialed on both arguments. So it
wasn't like they were locked in.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
They were locked in. Just like we were.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Well, you got to be.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
You should be. We would hope.

Speaker 9 (12:38):
All right.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Speaking of the job, Peter Cullen passed away yesterday. You
thought you were going to have just a chill Thursday afternoon.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Wrong again.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
You were not. He died at the age of 85.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
He is best known for voicing Optimus Prime.

Speaker 10 (12:50):
Before time began, there was the cube.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
I live to serve you, Lord Megatron.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Where is the cube?

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I am Optimus Prime.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
If you're like, Ash, what? It's from the 80s. Yeah,
but Shia LaBeouf did it in the remake, right?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Oh my, man, that's also far away.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
The early 2000s. What is Optimus Prime? He's a robot, correct?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
He's an alien. that led a robot revolution like a
crew a crew of alien robot gang of aliens that
transformed from cars to robots oh i was so close very.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
So close now it wasn't that for me and you
know bmo and i were texting and i'm like i
mean dude does does peter cullen make the cut god
bless his soul he passed away in la with his
family by his side 85 um.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
But then you told me that he was the voice
of Eeyore and I said, you better get to work.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
It's an awful nice tale, Kanga.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
Much nicer than the rest of me.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
It's not much of a tale, but I'm sort of
attached to it.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
I mean, Eeyore is always sad and droopy, and how
can you not?

Speaker 3 (14:03):
And there was a lot more. When I started looking
him up, he had done a lot.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
He voiced Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh. He contributed to
numerous other projects. The Predator, Knight Rider, G.I. Joe the Movie,
and many classic.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Cartoons from the 80s.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Predator was crazy, too. I didn't expect that one. But, man.
That's the thing with voice actors. You never really know.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
I know.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Because it's crazy because Optimus doesn't sound like Eeyore. No.
I don't know how they're... playing with their voices that way.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
And i think one thing that we've noticed over the
past three days with deaths is like dolly was the
only name where everybody was like oh my like we
think everybody knows dolly but the other ones you hear
their names you might not know them and then you
were like oh but i know.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yes i've seen this person.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Everyone's so rest in peace to peter cullen i will
hope for you that like the weekend is just Well,
I'm going to.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Be in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Heaven's booked and busy.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
So if anything happens, I'm just going to go live
and be like, I'm gone.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
I'm not available. All right. Let's talk about Cardi B.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Cardi B's brand new music video for.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Aha is out.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Aha.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Aha.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
I thought that was the clip of the song. I
was like, wait, did I?

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Thank you. Yeah, it was so accurate. I'm a voice actor.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
So accurate.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
So anyways, she not without complaints, which is so Cardi.
She drops this video. We watched it in its entirety
this morning. So now we can actually speak on it.
She feels as if she was overcharged for the video
because she's a massive celebrity.

Speaker 13 (15:35):
Yo, I don't understand how the this music video was expensive.
I wanted this music video to be simple. I wanted
a street, you know, like I wanted a very street
New York summer vibe, right? And I'm thinking, right, because
a lot of artists do videos in the streets, that
this music video will be about, I'll say.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
About $ 250, 000.

Speaker 13 (15:58):
Bro, this video came out to be over a million.
This is going to be pissing me off because it
wouldn't even, if you look at the video, it doesn't
even give that. But the way sometimes because I'm Cardi B,
I be getting overcharged is annoying. I really wanted to
do my music video in a small block in the Bronx. No,
they made me do it in different places. And to

(16:19):
get a permit, it was so expensive. And I feel
like they overcharged me for permits. I feel like, you know,
they made it a big deal because I guess on
Cardi B, it was about 40 NYPD cops, which made
it impossible to f * * * ing shoot. I'll
tell you this, this will be the last time I
ever do music videos in a public setting that I

(16:40):
cannot get controlled.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
I don't think we can argue that when you watch
the video, you would not think it is a million
dollar video.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
I mean, it's cool. It's very Cardi. Like it's fine.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
We could have made it in Dorchester with an iPhone.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Agreed.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
And I feel like she might not fight that.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Like, I think she thought she was just going to
go to a street corner, do the video and like
move on.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Cardi. Yes, it is because you're Cardi B because if
Cardi B went to Dorchester to shoot, thing the whole
georgia you're gonna need to shut half of the city
down absolutely.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
I mean everybody would be rolling to that yeah a
couple different scenes there was there was um they were
on a corner they were in a hair salon they
were on top cardi was driving an atv that was
kind of flipped to its side and another woman was
driving it I'm not sure what she was doing. Yeah,
she was facing front, not towards the wheel.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
She was on it.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
And there was a woman twerking at the bottom of it.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
That part was crazy.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
There was a lot of, yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
You have to check it out for yourself. There was
a gentleman driving one that, I don't know how he
got that job, but he looked disinterested. He did.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
There was one guy doing curls throughout.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
You know.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Random curls in the middle of the street.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Lot happening in the music video. Cardi also on live
revealed that she helped Chipotle with their brand new chip.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
You don't got no power.

Speaker 14 (18:03):
You don't got no power not got to make Chipotle
take they chips.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
You don't got no power to make Chipotle.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Take they chips.

Speaker 9 (18:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Now I'm gonna go to no more Duane Reade's, no
more all that stuff at the CVS to get Doritos.
Chipotle was that old word? That's what y'all doing? You
weren't supposed to tell them about the chips.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Girl, we on live.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I was supposed to tell you about the chips. Because
the chips come out on Monday. Oops, my bad.

Speaker 7 (18:30):
Sorry.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Yeah, I'm too excited.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I mean, they're calling it a leak, like a leak.
It's not. There's no way. That was clearly planned.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
But either way, Cardi is teasing that Chipotle is changing
up their chip recipe.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
I don't know if I'm saddened or happy. I actually
love the Chipotle chip.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
I love the Chipotle chip.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
A nice Chipotle bowl with their chips and you can dip. Like,
I'm in.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
I'll give it a try, but it better be better.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
I also thought to myself, wow. what an elevation of
your Chipotle bowl.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
I didn't, I would never have thought to have Doritos
alongside my Chipotle bowl, but that is elevating. And so
I will, I will be interested to see Chipotle themselves
have also been kind of teasing this, but yeah, I
guess Cardi spoke to somebody and was like, listen, I'm
so tired of having to go get my own chips.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Chipotle has to step it up. They're nicely salted.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
I love them.

Speaker 12 (19:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
You got to get a good batch.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Okay that's a fair point.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yeah that is every once in a while i grab
a bad batch and you're like when you get that
nice crispy batch with that salt sign me up and
it's like just the right amount it is but i'm
with you i will try i'm not gonna hate i'm
gonna try we'll give it a go there's three things
you need to know for friday august 28th the pod
is the easiest place to catch up on all the
weird things white people do if you missed any of

(19:47):
that conversation yesterday down at free iHeartRadio app and search A-S-H-L-E-E.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show. Wake up!

Speaker 8 (19:56):
Boston's number one for hip-hop. Jammin' 94.5.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Hi, everybody. Good morning. Ayo! It's Ashley and the Jammin'
Morning Show. BMO is here.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
I am coming off.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
The Marshfield Fair hangover.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
It was Kids Day yesterday. I am the fair.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Quite usually, but it's just that I was on a
tour of all the theme parks in New Hampshire.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
I'm tired. You've been going. I've been going.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
So then I had the fair last night, which usually
is like my Super Bowl, but I was just a
little sleepy. I don't feel like I... I don't feel
like I did the fair justice on my social media.
I could have done better, but I was just, I
was sleepy. It was a school night, you know, at
one point we're on like the last ride where the
kids get like tied up to these bungee cords and
they jump on the trampoline and they jump up towards
the sky.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
That sounds safe.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
She, it's not, she thinks it is.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
The coolest thing and hearing her little giggle was like,
it's worth it, but it was getting dark and I'm like, well.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
I gotta get up in like three hours.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
We gotta go.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Mr.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Telephone Man heard us chatting about the fair justice earlier
in the show and he's defensive of the fair but
because but what i love about you is you're defensive
in a sense of like you and your daughter go
and you have this like shared moment and you go
to the fair and she gets an i love dad
tattoo and you you enjoy.

Speaker 15 (21:16):
Going absolutely absolutely first of all good morning morning to
all of you um what's up bimo uh ash aj
so yeah check it out this fair is a century
plus year old fair like you're not going to downplay
this fair like it's some ranky dank shoddy fair that's
happening it happens every year and it's something that me

(21:37):
and my daughters love to do no i know and
it was a blast it was a blast there was
a lot going on and that bungee thing my daughter
was doing backflips on it it was totally safe.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
You know what i mean they love that thing and
the two and the two guys that work that that
specific they'd be hustling um i just need you to
answer this question yes or no i just gotta be
honest were your eyeballs.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Working yesterday just so we're on the same page where
they open did you see duct tape on the slides yes.

Speaker 15 (22:03):
Or no Um, no, I didn't see any duct tape.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
We don't go down the slides.

Speaker 15 (22:10):
I didn't see any of that. Nor did I see,
I didn't see any weights on any rise or anything
like that holding them down either. I mean, it looked
like a typical fair. However, it is the Marshall's fair
and there's like tons of animals and so many other things.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
And I will say like, it's my town and we
all know I'm prideful of Marshall, but.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
It's a good fair. I mean, there are. There's cow area.
There's goats. There's penguins. They do something for every age. Cool.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Did you see on my Instagram, they also have people
walk around with snakes and crocodiles.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
No thanks. Where are you going to find that at?

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Crocodiles.

Speaker 15 (22:46):
I'm so upset that I didn't get my daughter to
see that stuff because they love animals. The first thing
they wanted to do was see the animals. And I
get in there and the guy's like.

Speaker 7 (22:55):
Hey, you guys just made it in time for the
magic show. And I'm like, oh, girl, let's go see
the magic show.

Speaker 15 (23:00):
And my youngest is like, no, I don't want to
watch a show, magic show.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
No, I don't want to do it.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I'm good.

Speaker 15 (23:05):
And so I go anyway, and I obviously have to
make it interesting. So what do I do? I put
my hand in the air, and I'm like, hey, you
guys can use me as a prop to do your
magic trick.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Committed.

Speaker 16 (23:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (23:21):
I ended up on stage getting chopped in half, and
it was epic.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
You know what I mean? He's going for him.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
No, no.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
I did it for my girls, man. I did it
for my girls.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
Mr.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Telephone Man is a carny. Who would have thought? You
off to Topsfield next.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Big boy?

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Topsfield, Big E.

Speaker 15 (23:39):
The only one I really don't do is like the Brockton.

Speaker 16 (23:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
All right.

Speaker 17 (23:43):
Sure.

Speaker 15 (23:43):
Why not?

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Just as big.

Speaker 15 (23:46):
Uh, you know, there's a lot of stigma.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
A lot of stigma.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Well, the Brockton Fair was my fair, baby.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I've never been to the Brockton Fair, so I can't
speak on it.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
And guess what? They are all rinky-dink. They are. I
haven't been to one fair where I wasn't like, these
rides are sus as hell.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
You know what?

Speaker 7 (24:01):
Because you came from the Brockton Fair. That's why they're rinky-dink.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
It's Brockton.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
You know what I mean? The Brockton Fair is sus
because of the clientele.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
Well, listen, it is an interesting time at the fair,
but I wouldn't miss it.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
If my life depended on it. Like I will go
every year. You're always going to catch me at the
Marshfield Fair. It's a time.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I'll go for fried dough. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Fried dough. They have, oh yeah, Mr.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Topham Hatt, do you guys like specifically get any of
the eats?

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I had the veteran, it's called veteran barbecue last night.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
The mac and cheese and the pulled chicken sandwich.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Their barbecue sauce had a little like kick to it too.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Bomb.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I always get.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
The cone, the ice cream cone that's a donut with
the soft serve inside.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:42):
Yeah, that stuff is good too.

Speaker 15 (24:43):
Fire.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
All of it's probably delicious, but it probably all closed
every artery that you got.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Well, let me ask you this.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
They also ate chicken fingers and fries basket. Four chicken
fingers and a basket of fries. What do you think
that ran me?

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Six bucks. 20 bucks.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Hey, thank you.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Mr.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Telephone Man knows the martial.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Okay.

Speaker 16 (25:04):
$ 20.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
No.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
No. Paid it. I was like, yeah, I'll take my 20.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
How much are the rides?

Speaker 2 (25:09):
So yesterday was kids day. That's why me and Mr.
Telephone Man were on the same page, 50% off all
the rides.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
So I put like 40 bucks on the ride card
and she got on everything she wanted.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Okay. So normally what are we talking?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Probably a hundo.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
You can buy the $ 50 pass for the kids where
they can get on any ride as many times as
they want. There's a wristband for 50 bucks.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
I didn't do that. Do you do the wristbands?

Speaker 7 (25:33):
I don't do any wristband.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
We just went on all the rides.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Yeah. You just fill up that credit card. You fill
it up. And do you ever fear that money doesn't
count at the fair?

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Do you ever fear that when you put this child
on this ride, this may be the last time that
you ever see them?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
I absolutely do. I do every single time. I'm like, well,
at some of the rides she wants to go on.
I'm like, well, great. I have to go on just
for safety. I don't know what my arm bar is
going to do, but it will save you. And I
was I was also Mr. Telephone Man dying because, you know,
you posted a video of your little girl on one
of the rides did not look like she was having
a time she was like get me off this roller.

Speaker 15 (26:06):
Coaster she was not all about it she like i
said they just wanted to see animals i'm like we
could have went to the zoo for that like this
is the fair you know like come on the.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Face paint was so cute i loved it um i'm
glad you had a good time you're always welcome in
marshfields open invitation for you buddy Thank you.

Speaker 7 (26:22):
Thank you for the key to the city of March.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
I'll see you at the Brockton Fair. We'll bring you
to the Brockton Fair.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Yeah, someone's got to.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Can someone bring me to the Brockton Fair?

Speaker 1 (26:28):
I'm going to the Brockton Fair.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I'm not going to the Brockton Fair, my God. It's
not going to happen.

Speaker 15 (26:34):
I'll go to Tossfield or Springfield, though, but Brockton's off-limits.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
I know.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
I got to go to Tossfield.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
All right, man.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Thank you so much for the call.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
I actually wasn't even going to bring this up to everybody,
but because Mr. Telephone Man just called in, such a
good dad, and he's setting a shining example. So, Right
before the fair, the fireman tells me he's not going
to be able to come to the fair because he
has a funeral to go to. And this has nothing

(27:00):
to do with the person that passed, so rest in peace.
I don't know who the man was, but he tells
me he has this funeral.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
It's urgent. He's not going to be able to make
it to the fair. I'm like, okay.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
So he goes off to this funeral. I end up
running into, at the fair, my brother-in-law. And I see
him and I'm like, what are you doing here?

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Aren't you... Aren't you at the family funeral? That man
looked at me like I had 15 heads. He said,
what funeral? Oh, boy.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
I said, there ain't no way.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
There's no way this man made up a funeral to
get out of the Marshfield Fair. Diabolical.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
When you need to know. We got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbacks.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
All right, guys, Friday, August 28th.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
And after 21 days of testimony, 85 witnesses, the evidence
in the Lindsay Clancy case is officially closed. We had
closing arguments yesterday. Fireworks, of course, is always in that
corner at one point. believe kevin reddington was taking like
he had like a quarter in his hand and he
was like he would bang it on the table to
kind of make a point even got yelled at once

(28:09):
by the judge because he made a point and he
turned and he was looking at the commonwealth that's you
know pageantry yeah it was also so interesting and i
have the clip kevin reddington included an example of jack
nicholson in the shining and maybe because it's a fictional
character it could count but then when the commonwealth brought
up andrea yates the judge was like okay that's enough
of that move on because she was trying to draw

(28:30):
comparisons um either way i think i think the ladies
in pink are blinded and so they're never going to
say hey the commonwealth made a couple good points they're
gonna be like the commonwealth was trash kevin killed it
i think i was expecting a little bit more from
kevin reddington and i don't even know what that like
in us i'm not sure what but i thought we
would get a little i don't know i because he's.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Got he's got heavy cachet you you probably were feeling
like you were waiting for a johnny cochran moment absolutely
you know what i mean.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
I mean, the internet is trying to make me believe
that during his closing arguments, he was going to be like,
and you know what? It's actually Patrick Clancy that did this.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
We didn't get that, but we did get a Shining reference.

Speaker 10 (29:10):
And when you consider the journals, you know, watch the movie,
The Shining with Jack Nicholson. Remember the scene when he's
sitting there in a state of complete psychosis and he's
writing a book and he's typing? And the wife finds
the book and opens it up and looks at it
and says, all work and no play makes Jack a
dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a

(29:32):
dull boy. Repeat it after repeat it after repeat it.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
And he says, do you like it?

Speaker 10 (29:36):
You look at the records of her Googling. drugs, you
look at how many times, how many hours of the night,
in the afternoon, she's looking this stuff up, in between
taking care of the family, in between all this stuff
that was going on, visiting doctors, seeing doctors, going to
Rhode Island, being told, no, we.

Speaker 11 (29:56):
Can't help you, calling the suicide hotline, We can't help
you calling another suicide hotline.

Speaker 10 (30:02):
We can't help you.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
My God, what does she have to do?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
I know the shining.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
It's one of my favorite horror films of all time,
but I don't know if everybody in that jury box has.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It, but if they do, they got the reference.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
I mean, the man went crazy inside of the hotel.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
I have not seen it. So I would be a
terrible juror. Okay. Turn, take the look away. Turn it off.
I'm flabbergasted.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
I know I'm, I'm flabbergasted.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
I've seen bits. I haven't, I haven't sat in. Okay.
This is uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
I might tell you not to come in next Thursday
and Friday and just watch The Shining on repeat.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Like, this is classy. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
I'll do the homework. Please, please do. But see, look,
you're an example. You'd be somebody in that jury.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Like, who is, what is he talking about?

Speaker 4 (30:44):
We then went to the Commonwealth and here's the thing, guys.
In general, let's just pretend you and your significant other
are fighting. You want the last word. We always want
the last word because it's the last thing.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
And another thing. Right.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
Always.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
And it's the last thing inside of their mind that's
going to live on as they deliberate. Here's the Commonwealth's
closing arguments.

Speaker 12 (31:06):
The issue is whether at the time she killed Cora,
Dawson and Cowan, she knew the difference between right and
wrong and whether she could conform her behavior to to
the requirements of the law. This case is not about
our mental health system or how it treats women or
what's in the DSM-5 and what's not. That's a distraction

(31:27):
to get you angry and passionate about an important issue,
but an issue that's not on trial here. What's on
trial here, what the issue is here, is what Lindsay
Clancy did the night of January 24, 2023, and what
her mental state was at the time. And you can
use her psychological history and records, the treatment records.

Speaker 8 (31:49):
She had more access to.

Speaker 12 (31:51):
Treatment and care and support than a lot of people do.
This wasn't a woman suffering from a lack of care,
a lack of resources. She had an abundance of help,
an abundance of care.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
She had all of that. And more.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
I myself, obviously, for the millionth time, not in the jury. But,
you know, when I'm talking about this case with my
friends and my family, I myself have a tough time
trying to decide what I think, because I still at
the very end of this. Think about Kalancourt and Dawson.
They're not here anymore. Three little babies are gone and
it was at her hands.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
So I just how will they do it? How will
how will. Our peers figure this out. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
I don't envy them at all.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Not one bit.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
There's an online rumor that they're going to deliberate for
a little bit of time today and come out with
a verdict. We're all on verdict watch. We ain't getting
it today. I will be taken aback if we get
it today.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
I will eat my foot.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, but we will. Now I'm hoping.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
But we shall see. We are all on verdict watch.
I will keep you posted, obviously, every second I can.
All right, let's talk about Cardi B. Cardi has a
brand new music video out for Aha. I appreciate the
honesty when she talks about the video because she does
in there say it don't look like.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
A million dollar video. We watched it in its entirety today.
A lot going on.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
It does not look like a million dollar video.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
No, it does not.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Cardi is upset because she feels like the cost of
it came only because she's Cardi B.

Speaker 13 (33:18):
Yo, I don't understand how the f * * *
this music video was expensive. I wanted this music video
to be simple. I wanted a street, you know, like
I wanted a very street New York summer vibe, right?
And I'm thinking, right, because a lot of artists do
videos in the streets, that this music video will be about,

(33:39):
I'll say about.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
$ 250, 000.

Speaker 13 (33:41):
Bro, this video came out to be over a million.
This is going to be pissing me off because it
wouldn't even, if you look at the video, it doesn't
even give that. But the way sometimes because I'm Cardi B,
I be getting overcharged is annoying. I really wanted to
do my music video in a small block in the Bronx. No,
they made me do it in different places. And to

(34:02):
get permit, it was so expensive. And I feel like
they overcharged me for permits. I feel like, you know,
they made it a big deal because I guess I'm
Cardi B. It was about 40 NYPD cops, which made
it impossible. issue. I'll tell you this. This will be
the last time I ever do music videos in a
public setting that I cannot get control.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah. Not a millie.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Dude, I'll tell you right now. I hope we all
eventually someday get to a place where we're like, you know,
I didn't think this would be expensive. I thought it
would be $ 250, 000. I hope we all get to that place.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Because here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Say Cardi tells nobody and she's like, I just want
to stand on a street corner and film. So she's
going to have to get to said street corner. They're
going to get out there. They're not going to like
the lighting. So they're going to have to figure out
some lighting. They got to get the cameraman out.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
That's going to take time. By that time, somebody has
seen her.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Or they're like, hey, something's going on. I mean, let's
be honest.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Someone texts you and says, hey, it looks like a
bunch of cameras are on a street corner right near
your house.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
I'm rolling. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
It could be Ben Affleck over there. I don't know.
So that's just what that's going to be. But she's right.
It doesn't look like a million dollar video. It's still good. Like,
it's fine.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
It's.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
It's not anything like show-stopping.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
She is a top in ATV that's on its side
at one point, and the outfit, it's quite literally a string.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Stephon Day's really messed up. Offset, really messed up.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Fumbled.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
But, you know, crazy will.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Crazy will do that.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
Will do some stuff. Quiz time.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
I had to look this up. Most expensive music video
ever made. I would never even be able to guess.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
I actually thought maybe the artist in my head. I
kind of went toward, I gravitated towards him. It's his birthday.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
It's his birthday. Well, that didn't help me at all.
I don't know anybody's birthday.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Or health, depending on how you.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (35:55):
Hell.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
I was going to say Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson. Is
it Michael?

Speaker 15 (35:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
It had to be.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Michael could have gone either way. We don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Those were like movies.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Neverland people?

Speaker 7 (36:02):
Hell.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Those were movies.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Scream with Janet Jackson. Seven mil.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
It would be a Jackson though.

Speaker 16 (36:10):
Right.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
So I mean, like we knew it was going to be,
I literally read what it was.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
It's got to be Michael.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
Um, yeah, it says it costs 7 million to make scream.
If that was today's times, 14 to 15 milli.

Speaker 10 (36:21):
Yikes.

Speaker 5 (36:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
That's a movie.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
No, it's a whole thing. That's a whole thing.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
But they had to make like the sci-fi like custom
sets and like there was a million sound.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Stages in the whole nine.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
By the way, I want to show some love to Cardi.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
She has officially made history again as the first female
rapper to appear on the cover of Vogue.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Arabia, which will come out soon, next week, September. September
is next week.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Happy Halloween. All right.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
And lastly, if you don't have plans this Saturday and
you haven't won tickets with us, Jalen Brown is throwing
a 741 Frequency Fest.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Remember, JB tried to do his goodbye. He thought it
was good. Speaking of Cardi B just showing up on
a corner. JB was like, I'm just going to roll
to this small store. It's going to be fine. I'll
say bye.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Everybody was trying to go that plenty what like when
he was playing here he used to just like roll
up on stuff yeah but like bro you just got
traded and this is like this is a farewell tour
yeah everybody's coming.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Out so he's gonna do it on saturday it's gonna
be from two to seven he switched up venues it's
now in the boston commons at the charles street entrance
which makes for a lot more space and sense um
pup's gonna be there he'll be djing but they really
want to do this thing where they kind of get
the kids ready for school so they're offering free haircuts
alongside free nail services for.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
The kiddos this guy man I know.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
He really is such a nice guy. And I'm so sad.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
So if you want to, you know, roll with your
Jalen Brown jersey the last time he'll be wearing green
and get it signed up or whatever, go see JB
say bye two to seven at the Boston Common.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
That is three things you need to know for Friday.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
August 28th.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
However, if you're not going to see JB, I know
you want to go see this.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Pitbull, Lil Jon, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and Vogue. They're going to
be in Mansfield. It's two different shows, but you're going
to both. So it doesn't really matter. You're going to
be living in Mansfield on us.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
877-617-1945. Call our 25. We're hooking you up. Good luck.
Hi guys. Good morning. Happy Friday, man. We made it.
Cheers to the freaking weekend. There's like so much going on.
If you want to go down on Saturday to see

(38:26):
JB and say bye. You'll be in Chicago, so you can't.
Would you? Because I know you were a big fan.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
No, I'm not big on like those... things anymore just
because i'm old and i don't want to deal with
the crowds.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
Yeah now i i get it my husband made up
a funeral so that he didn't have to be like
so you're not telling me anything i don't know um
well there's a lot going on this weekend if you're
not going to say bye-bye to jb pitbull and little
john are going to be here on saturday tlc salt
and vogue on sunday mansfield's about to be crazy they're
gonna hang out Like Lil Jon and Vogue.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
I feel like if they, maybe, if they link up.
They have to be like, we're all here.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
Because this is no shade to Mansfield, because at home
is the Xfinity Center. I don't know what else after that.
They're not staying there.

Speaker 16 (39:11):
No.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
So there is a chance they run into each other
probably in the city.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
You know. Gotta. Yeah. For sure.

Speaker 12 (39:17):
Encore.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Something like that. Amity is in Quincy.

Speaker 16 (39:23):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
What's going on in Quincy?

Speaker 7 (39:27):
Well, I'm actually on my way to Brookline to work
right now.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Do you have work tomorrow and Sunday?

Speaker 3 (39:33):
I do not.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Well, you have plans now, and it doesn't involve Jalen Brown,
unfortunately for you. If you were going to go to that,
you're out on that.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
That is so exciting.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
I know, because you're going to see Pitbull, Lil Jon tomorrow,
and then gearing up for another show on Sunday, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa,
and in Vogue.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
That's crazy.

Speaker 17 (39:51):
I'm just going to sleep there.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
I keep saying it, but I'm not. I think people
think I'm joking. It's not far from Foxborough. You could
go over there and stay at the hotel in Patriot Place,
you know?

Speaker 18 (40:04):
Definitely.

Speaker 7 (40:07):
Definitely make a weekend of it.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Will you take the same person to both shows or
will you switch it up?

Speaker 7 (40:13):
I think I might have to switch it up because
people will get mad at me.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
That's fair.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
I like that. I like that. Well, other than that,
what else is up with you? Tell me something about you.

Speaker 7 (40:24):
Getting ready for the school year. I'm a teacher.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Oh, what grade?

Speaker 7 (40:29):
Preschool.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Oh, God bless you. Okay, so give me some tidbits. Actually,
what do you bitches want for presents? Just tell me
now so when it's present time.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
I get you the right thing.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
Because, you know, Layla starts preschool in two weeks, and
I want to impress the teacher.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Okay. So what should I do? Gift cards are great.

Speaker 7 (40:52):
We love gift cards.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
To Starbucks? To Amazon? To Dunks?

Speaker 7 (40:57):
I'll take any of them. All of the above.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Okay. And when do we do the gifts? Is that
like just Christmas time?

Speaker 3 (41:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (41:05):
I'm kind of in a different setting.

Speaker 7 (41:08):
So we get gifts more often.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (41:11):
But as often as you like is.

Speaker 10 (41:14):
What I say.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
As often as you like. Okay.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
So for example... Next week, I meet the teacher. I'm
going to meet her on Thursday with Layla and the fireman.
Do I need to do anything for that? Or that's
just like a hello?

Speaker 2 (41:26):
No, that's just a meet and greet.

Speaker 7 (41:28):
Just a hello.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Nothing serious.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Or you could become her favorite by doing so.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Doing so. Yeah, like just bringing her a Dunkin' Gift card.
That's true, too. And then on the card writing, I'll
pray for you. Best of luck, honey. Best of luck.

Speaker 7 (41:40):
Yeah, preschool is not an easy job. We work really hard.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
It's not for me. I can barely deal myself. I
don't know how you guys do it.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
You have.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
The patience in which you must possess is next level
because I don't know.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
I ran out like I ran out.

Speaker 17 (41:58):
All right.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Well, listen, congrats. I'm happy to do it for a
preschool teacher before school starts. You deserve it. Have the
best time. Hang on the line. Alex will get all
your info.

Speaker 7 (42:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
The gift giving to the teachers I've learned is like
a massive thing. And it is really it's stressing me.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
I didn't.

Speaker 7 (42:15):
So.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Every time you've mentioned it, I remember vaguely giving gifts
to my teachers, but I completely forgot that that was
even a thing.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Yeah, and my body wants to give them mugs, but
who wants that? They don't want that.

Speaker 11 (42:27):
Nobody does.

Speaker 4 (42:27):
No, no.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
It's like when you get a mug for Christmas from somebody,
you're just like, I know you didn't care about me.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
The only time I... I will accept just about anything
if it's hilarious. If you went somewhere and saw something
funny that you thought would make me laugh, I don't
care if it's on a mug, a shoe, one individual shoe,
a hat, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
You love stickers.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Just give me something that's funny. And I'll buy with it.

Speaker 19 (42:52):
No.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
But otherwise.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Otherwise, no. I'm always down for an AMI gift card.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
Like an Amazon. I can get anything on Amazon. So
that's never going to miss for me.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
I know. Wow. Preschool times. Anyways, what's up, guys?

Speaker 3 (43:03):
How are we doing?

Speaker 4 (43:04):
We're talking about your life, your world, anything you want.
We love the check-in. What is happening with you?

Speaker 2 (43:08):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 1 (44:03):

Speaker 20 (44:05):

We have it locked up in the maximum. Security cell,
I'm gripping O. Music loud and I'm tipping slow. Twin

Speaker 1 (44:18):
That's the plan skills when we out and cruising.

Speaker 3 (44:20):

Speaker 2 (44:21):

Speaker 20 (44:23):
They see me roll They hatin', patrollin' and tryna kiss

Speaker 1 (44:29):

Speaker 1 (44:34):

Speaker 1 (45:37):
They hoping that they gonna kiss me right. Trying to
kiss me right. Trying to kiss me.

Speaker 20 (45:55):
So I try to let you go, turn on my
blinker light, and then I swing it slow. Except for show,
cause they think they know that they catching me with
plenty of the drag and roll. So they get behind me,
trying to check my tags. Look at my rear view
when they smiling. Thinking they'll catch me in the wrong
and keep trying.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
Instead of denying that it's racial profiling.

Speaker 20 (46:08):
You can check my tags. Pull me over, try to
check my slab. Glove compartment, gotta get my cash. Cause
the crooked cops try to come up fast. And being
the baller that I am, I talk to them, giving
it to them. But I'm not feeling my attitude. When
they read your lies, I ain't even riding dirty. Bet
you'll be leaving with it even madder. I'm gonna laugh
at you and then I have to cruise. Jamming number
two on some old DJ's crew. You can't arrest me,
plus you can't sue. This is a message to the laws,
tell them we hate you. I can't be tough, so

(46:28):
tell them that they should have known. Tip it down,
I'm sitting crooked on my chrome. Booking my phone, finding
the chick I want to... They couldn't stop me, I'm
about to.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Pull up at your home.

Speaker 20 (46:35):
They see me rolling, they hating. Patrolling and trying to
catch me riding.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Trying to catch me riding.

Speaker 7 (47:02):

Speaker 2 (49:55):
Hi, guys. Good morning. It's Ashley and Jim. Morning show.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
BMO is joining me at BMO the Prince.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
If you just need to know who has died in
the past few days, that man has all the information.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
That is where you can find. I'm going to stop
going to TMZ. I'm just going to go right to
your page to clarify.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
I'm a strong. There's a lot of people that actually
hit me up and they'll be like, I literally get
news from you. And I was like, please don't.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
You're like, no, I don't want to be the pillar
of news for you.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
I mean, listen. All right, we're doing the check-in.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
We're talking about anything you want, whatever you got going on, 877-617-1945, 877-617-1945.
You can tell us a story.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
You can ask us something. Anything you want. Jaden is
in Webster.

Speaker 9 (50:36):
Hi, Jaden.

Speaker 15 (50:39):
Hey, how's it going?

Speaker 2 (50:40):
So I don't see this often. You want to give
a shout-out to two people in your life, your mother
and your dog.

Speaker 22 (50:46):
Yeah, I want to give a shout-out to my mom, Danielle.
She does a great job every day for me and
my brother. And then I wanted to give a shout
out to my dogs, Winston, Frankie and Lola. They're the
best dogs in the world and.

Speaker 7 (50:58):
I love them so much.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
Do they listen often? The dogs?

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 22 (51:05):
My mom has the radio on all the time.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
She's like the dogs listen. My mom does not. She
does not ever listen. Jaden, how old are you?

Speaker 22 (51:15):
I'm 23 years old.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
You're 23 years old, and you're saying that your mom
listens to the show often.

Speaker 22 (51:21):
Yeah, she used to text you a bunch on Instagram DM, actually.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
What happened to our text DM relationship? Why did she stop?

Speaker 9 (51:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 22 (51:31):
You're going to have to text her back or something.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
I'm going to have to DM her back. I need
the info. Well, what are you doing? Are you on
your way to work?

Speaker 3 (51:40):
I'm working right now, yeah.

Speaker 22 (51:42):
I'm just getting to my next stop right now.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
All right, man. Well, listen, thank you for listening. Tell
your mother I said thank you for listening and shout
out to those dogs.

Speaker 10 (51:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:49):
Woof, woof, woof.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
Yeah, all those 85 of them. This guy's got like
a whole clan of dogs. Thanks for the call.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
I met a woman last night at the Marshfield Fair
and she was with her kids and she's like, I
have to bring my kids over to meet you.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
We listen to you in the car every morning.

Speaker 4 (52:03):
And anytime I meet a mom with kids, I always think,
do you keep your hand on the phone?

Speaker 2 (52:07):
Because you just, you never know.

Speaker 3 (52:10):
Let's get out of here real quick.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
She's like, I stay ready.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
We got to duck out quick.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Shay is in time.

Speaker 4 (52:15):
Hi, Shay.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
Good morning.

Speaker 16 (52:17):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
We got a big birthday today. Uh-oh. Yes, we do.

Speaker 7 (52:22):
My oldest turns 14.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
I'm not ready for those teenagers. Let me tell you something.

Speaker 1 (52:28):
Nope.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
And he is a freshman as well, starting freshman year.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
Maybe that's why. I was just going to say that
like 13 is technically when you become like a teen teen. Yeah. 13.
But 14 feels like the real one. And maybe that's
because high school.

Speaker 2 (52:42):
That's probably it.

Speaker 3 (52:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
You're a freshman. Yeah. Oh, my God. Mom, you have
a freshman. I would agree. You have a freshman.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
I do.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
That has to feel so crazy.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
It does.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
I've cried like three times already. Oh, there's no doubt.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
Layla's going to preschool where we'll drop her off and
pick her up. I'm already thinking forward, thinking of her
getting on a bus next year and I can't handle it.
You're going to be a mess. I'm going to try
to be the bus driver.

Speaker 15 (53:11):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
I cannot.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
I'm going to be there just to film it.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
I love that for you.

Speaker 7 (53:14):
Honestly, Ashley, the bus driver, I'm here for that.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Ashley, the bus driver. I won't be able to do
both jobs, but you know. All right, Shay. Well, send
my love to your son. I hope he has the
best year.

Speaker 7 (53:25):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (53:28):
You're welcome. Yeah, could you imagine?

Speaker 3 (53:29):
I just like, I don't know, man.

Speaker 4 (53:32):
Being a parent is so weird because if she comes
off the bus and she's like, little Joey was mean
to me.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Fist fight.

Speaker 3 (53:38):
Right. And millennials, I feel like I feel like we're
triggered like that, that we're like them. We're we have
to fight their parents.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
A hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (53:46):
Now it's got to go now.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:47):
Like last night, we're in line for a ride. A
gang of like six kids cuts off Lila and her
little friend Rowan. And the mom looks and she goes, oh,
were you guys in line? Now, the mother that I
was with is like the most chill.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
She like stared up at the.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
Sky.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
She's like, I can't.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
I would never say that. I look the woman dead
in the eyes and I go, yeah, they did cut.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
Yeah. Step up.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
All six of them, honey. Move them to the back.

Speaker 10 (54:10):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Call us. We're talking about whatever you want.

Speaker 15 (54:12):
So check in.

Speaker 6 (54:31):
Leave me on read, babe, but I still get the
message Instead of a line, it's three dots, but I
can connect them If it ain't right, babe, you know
I respect it If you need time, just take your
time Love.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
Me, I get it, I get it, I get it.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
The way you got.

Speaker 6 (54:51):
Me on in my head I think I'd rather you
in my bed Whatever it is, you know I can
take it Counting the days, how many days, till I
can see you again. Glowing kisses like, will you catch
them or not? I'm cuba with arrows, babe, I'm.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
Just shooting my shot. If I could get.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
In, drop me a pen.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
Hop in the car and come over. I wanna be friends.

Speaker 6 (55:29):
I think I'm out of you in my bed Whatever
it is, you know I can take it Counting the days,
how many days Till I can see you again Oh, oh, oh,
my love Holding my feelings back And you got me all, all, all,

(55:54):
all in my bed And you got me all, all.

Speaker 1 (55:58):
All, all.

Speaker 6 (56:01):
You got me all in my head, you got me
all in my head, you got me all in my head.

Speaker 9 (56:25):
That's Radio Station in Boston.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
It's Ashley.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
And the Jammin' Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (56:37):
On Boston's number one for hip-hop and the best throwbacks, Jammin' 94.5.

Speaker 19 (56:41):
So what we get drunk? So what we don't sleep?
We're just having fun. We don't care who's sick. so
what we go out that's how we're supposed to be
living young and wild and free so what i keep

(57:03):
them rolled up sagging.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
My pants not caring what i show.

Speaker 16 (57:06):
Keep it real if you don't know me keep it
playing with my bros and look clean don't it watch
that the other day watch how you lean on and
keep me some 501 jeans on and roll up bigger
than king kong's fingers and burn them things down to
their stingers You a class clown, and if I skip
for the day, I'm with your chick smoking gray.

Speaker 4 (57:21):
You know what?

Speaker 9 (57:22):
It's like I'm 17 again. Peach fuzz on my face.
Looking on the case, trying to find a hell of taste.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 9 (57:28):
I'm on the chase. Chevy is getting kind of heavy.
Irrelevant selling it. Dipping away.

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Time keeps slipping away.

Speaker 9 (57:35):
Zipping the safe. Flipping for pay. Tipping like I'm dripping
in paint.

Speaker 20 (57:39):
Up front, folk.

Speaker 9 (57:40):
Like Khalifa, put the.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
In the J.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
Hey, John.

Speaker 19 (57:43):
Show up, we don't sleep. We're just having fun. We
don't care who sees. So what we go out. That's
how it's supposed to be.

Speaker 1 (57:56):
Living young.

Speaker 16 (58:02):
And I don't even care. Long as me and my
team in here, it's going to be some green in
the air. Tell them that.

Speaker 9 (58:07):
Blowing everywhere we going and now you know when I
step right up, get my lighter so I can light up.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
That's how it should be done. Soon as you think
and you're down, find how to turn things around.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Now things are looking up.

Speaker 9 (58:17):
From the ground up, pound up, this Taylor gang. So
turn my sound up and mount up and do my thing.

Speaker 16 (58:22):
Now I'm chilling, fresh out of class feeling. Like I'm
on my own and I could probably own a building.
Got my own car, no job, no children. Had a
SaaS project, me and Mac killed it.

Speaker 9 (58:32):
T-H-C-M-A-C-D-E-V-H-D-3.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
It's me.

Speaker 17 (58:37):
This is us.

Speaker 9 (58:38):
We gon' fuss and we gon' fight and we gon'
roll and live our life.

Speaker 1 (58:41):
So what? We get drunk. So what?

Speaker 19 (58:44):
We don't sleep. We're just having fun. We don't care
who sees.

Speaker 1 (58:51):
So what?

Speaker 10 (58:51):
We go out.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
That's how it's supposed to be.

Speaker 19 (58:56):
Living young and wild and free.

Speaker 5 (59:01):
Yeah, roll one, smoke one. When you live like this,
you're supposed to party. Roll one, smoke one, and we
all just.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
having fun so we just.

Speaker 5 (59:12):
Roll one smoke one when you live like this you're
supposed to party roll one smoke one and we all
just having fun.

Speaker 1 (59:22):
We don't care who sees us.

Speaker 15 (59:51):
We don't.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
All right.

Speaker 15 (59:52):
Hi, everybody.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Good morning. It's the check-in. We're talking about you, your life,
what you have going on. Tell us a story. Ask
us something. Comment on things that we talked about thus far.

Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
I would love to talk to a pink person that's
heading down to Plymouth today that actually thinks we're getting
a verdict because I know that there's a lot of
women on their way to Plymouth. I'll never forget when
the Karen Reid trial was happening. Women were wearing pink
and going to Denim with coolers, packing up lunch.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
They were committed.

Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
That's the whole thing. Committed. That's a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
That's too much. 877-617-1945.

Speaker 3 (01:00:23):
877-617-1945.

Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
We're talking about anything you want.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Frankie is in New Bedford. Frankie, I will cry right now.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
We just found out the sex of the baby on
the way.

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (01:00:38):
So I found out about it yesterday over the phone
while we were in New Hampshire. And yeah, it was
very exciting. I was shocked about it. Funny story to that.
So me and my cousin, we pledged a bet because
in my side of the family, it's all boys except
for one niece. So long story short, I lost because

(01:01:01):
me and my girl were expecting a boy. So the
bet was whoever who lost had to shave our beard.
And I had to shave my beard.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Because you're having a girl. You're having a girl.

Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
You're having a girl!

Speaker 7 (01:01:14):
Yeah, my mom was right. You know, my sister was right.
You know, either way, I'm very blessed to have a
second daughter in my life right now. So that means
like my oldest daughter got moved out to be a
queen and then now I'm having a little princess.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
And my son is going to be the only boy.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:01:32):
My junior, so.

Speaker 6 (01:01:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:01:34):
I'm very blessed.

Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
Obviously, I'm hanging up the hat and I'm just going
to roll on with two girls.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
I was always fine with girls, obviously. It was my
husband that was like, he wanted one. I think he
would have loved a one-on-one. The second one, like, she's
crazy and they wrestle, so I think it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
But yeah, I guess it's just meant to be for
me to be a girl mom for life.

Speaker 7 (01:01:59):
But from what I heard, the boys are easier to
raise than the females. So either way, I'm blessed with
two girls.

Speaker 18 (01:02:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:02:09):
Joking around. I'm screwed. It's got to be me and
my son against the world.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
No, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
No, for real.

Speaker 4 (01:02:14):
And let me also add in that the one thing
they do say about having girls is when we get old,
they'll take care of us.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
So that's sick.

Speaker 7 (01:02:22):
Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
And it's true.

Speaker 7 (01:02:25):
Because I know my oldest sister is, you know, she's
a good big sister. I know she's going to be
over the baby. Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
And I and I, I definitely compared to my brother,
I'm more involved in like my dad's.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
Parents' health and stuff. So it is a girl thing.
But Frankie, hey, congrats. When's the baby due?

Speaker 7 (01:02:43):
Baby's due on February 18th.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
February, let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Aquarius vibes.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Yes.

Speaker 11 (01:02:49):
I know.

Speaker 7 (01:02:49):
It's so funny, real quick. So my son's birthday is
before the birth of my daughter. And then after February,
it's going to be my oldest daughter. And then in April,
it's my birthday. So it's like, you know, one after another.

Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
Just bang, just heavy hit.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:06):
Right after the other.

Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
I wanted that to blow me away a little bit
more than it did, but that's exciting. A lot of birthdays.

Speaker 7 (01:03:10):
And then my fiance is December 3rd.

Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Oh, so she ain't even close.

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
She has nothing to do with it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
She has nothing to do with this, but we appreciate
her efforts. Frankie, the only thing about this conversation that
pissed me off is you took a whole day to
call me. Yeah, you said you got the, you said
you got the gender reveal yesterday. You took a day
to call me.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
I don't like that. I like to be one of
the first calls.

Speaker 7 (01:03:28):
No, because we've been, you know, you know, like this,
you know, being a parent and getting, getting ready to, um,
for my daughter to go back to school Monday, you know,
the whole school shopping and, you know, the whole lifestyle,
you know, getting ready for her to go back to school. So,
you know.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
All right. Well, Frankie, thanks for the call and congrats.

Speaker 7 (01:03:43):
Thank you so much. Have a good one, guys.

Speaker 5 (01:03:45):
Later.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
That'd be like me quite literally being like, so I
have one kid birthday in June.

Speaker 16 (01:03:50):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
I got one in December.

Speaker 3 (01:03:51):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Fireman's in May and I'm in November. What am I
expecting you to say to that?

Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
Throughout a 365 day period, all these birthdays happen.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
He thought he was going to get me with that, too.

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
I'm like, what? You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
What reaction was crazy?

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
You won't believe.

Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Anonymous is in Worcester. Anonymous. Good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
Hello.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Hi, babe. What's up?

Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
Not much.

Speaker 17 (01:04:14):
I'm just driving to work now. I'm moving out tomorrow.
So I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Oh, where are we moving? Westboro. So we're moving from
Worcester to Westboro. Yep, finally.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Is that a far move? I don't know the towns
like that. I know obviously where Worcester is.

Speaker 17 (01:04:34):
It's 25 minutes from Worcester, but the commute from my
job is going to be 15 minutes now, so it's
a lot better for me.

Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
Oh, I mean, not a lot better for me. You
won't be able to listen as much, but I'm happy
for you. I'm very happy for you. Why is Alex
telling me you want to talk about small mattresses?

Speaker 17 (01:04:54):
Yeah, I do. Actually, I was thinking, I wish I
had listened to that podcast. But right before I got
into my first relationship, it was the most abusive relationship
that I was ever in. And I should have taken
the twin mattress as a red flag. Honey.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
I am so mad you didn't find me before. You
wouldn't have had to suffer through the abuse. You would
have saw that twin mattress and you would have been like, bye-bye. Damn,
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Could have saved you from that.

Speaker 17 (01:05:25):
Yeah, I understand if somebody has like a financial situation,
but this guy was always bragging about like his savings
and how much money he had.

Speaker 7 (01:05:35):
He had all the designer stuff.

Speaker 17 (01:05:37):
I go to his house one day, we open the
bedroom door, a twin size mattress.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
Oh, honey.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
God, I wish you would have ran for the hills.

Speaker 17 (01:05:44):
That's not even the worst part. The mattress was on
the floor.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
On the floor.

Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
I am so upset I wasn't in your life.

Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
A twin mattress on the floor.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
He was begging for you to leave him. He was begging.

Speaker 17 (01:06:02):
That's not even the worst part. The mattress didn't have sheets.

Speaker 7 (01:06:07):
There was no sheets, just a comforter. Right.

Speaker 4 (01:06:09):
Okay you should hey hey take a second slap yourself
take a second and slap yourself because how.

Speaker 12 (01:06:15):
Dare you did you and you adulted on that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:18):
Thing I am oh my god listen we all have
stories oh my We all have stories from back in
our day and you've grown up and we're moving to
Westboro and things are on the up and up.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
But wow, I wish I was in your life at
that time. I wish I was in your life.

Speaker 17 (01:06:35):
If it wasn't for that twin mattress, now I'm in
the best relationship of my life. So now I'm so happy.

Speaker 4 (01:06:41):
The dirty twin mattress on the floor with no sheet
led you to this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
There we go. I love that.

Speaker 7 (01:06:47):
Well, thank you so much for the talk.

Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
Have a good weekend, guys.

Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
You too, babe.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
Thanks for the call.

Speaker 4 (01:06:53):
There's a couple things in life that, like, you walk
into a man's house and you see, like, you got
to run.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
And those are, like, that's right up. Those are my
top two.

Speaker 3 (01:07:01):
That's up there.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
A twin mattress on the floor with no frame.

Speaker 6 (01:07:08):
Run.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Me and Sarah lived on our first apartment. We had
a mattress with no frame.

Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Was it a queen? It was a twin?

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Well, no, it was a queen. It was a queen.
It was a queen.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
You just saved yourself. You saved yourself right there because,
I mean, it's already bad, but that would have been worse.
