Speaker 1 (00:00):
Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Friday people, we made it. I am still congested. I
don't know how it's possible. Everybody keeps saying to me, like,
how's it going with the kids? Like is everybody recovered
from the flu? I'm like, oh yeah, like we're out
and about. We're good with the flu. Like everything's fine.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Me though, what do you think's up?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
I just I'm just congested.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
I know. But do you think it's like something else
like happening in your body? Because sometimes, like you know,
things happen in your body and they come out in
different ways. What do you mean maybe there's something deeper happening? Okay,
Like what like it's like like an illness?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Is there an illness where you're stuffy for a while?
Speaker 3 (00:38):
No, But if that were me, you want to know
what I would be thinking? What I have cancer? My
head would automatically go to that. Like Luckily it's not
like right now, like that's how you start to feel pained.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I feel, I get I sound better as the day
goes on. By the evening, I don't have any sort
of congestion. I don't I only have to blow my
nose when I'm hereing them. It's like a morning thing.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
I don't know what it is. I'm sleeping.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Well do we think and I don't know this, but
I know you develop allergies as you age. Do you
think there's allergies in the winter, which I don't think
there is, but yeah, something like that. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I just assumed that it was just like the remnants
of I will say, we still have to wipe daisies nose,
so it's still kind of I guess lingering a little
bit longer for her.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
But I'm sick of it. I'm so sick of sounding
like this.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Do you have mold in your house?
Speaker 1 (01:24):
You don't know how I know you don't.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
We had someone come out literally a month ago, just
because we were worried about that or like, but it
was there were The guy kind of like laughed at us.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
He's like, you have kids. I'm like, we we know,
but we just want to make sure. We don't want
to check everything, just just checking things off. No, it's good.
I'm glad you're going to worst case scenarios.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Well, we checked out the cancer. We don't think it's that.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, yeah, we're checking out the mold. Everyone else in
the house is completely fine. But yeah, it's just I'm
so sick of sounding like this. I can't do it anymore.
I got the tissues in here.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
It's just last question now because it's your nose.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I do have history, but I don't do that anymore,
and I haven't in a very long time.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Do you think God, do.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
A little bit of party drugs like in your twenties
and all of a sudden, it's just like, I'm.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Not Stevie Mix, like I had a little fun back
in the day. I'm off the list of.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Tracks you didn't.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
And by the way, I would suggest never if you
are somebody who still does partaty drugs don't scary.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
You can't be messing around with us.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
You'll die.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The DARE program clearly didn't work. I
was like, oh, I was gonna try anyways. I only
did fun stuff other than the angel dust, but that was.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Unknowingly, which is one of the best stories in situations
I've ever heard of.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Crazy. It's you, yeah, guys, crazy times.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
I accidentally did angel dust and fangs, which I've told
this story way too many times, way too many times.
But Nanty loves to go to that as if like
I willingly was on the streets looking for it.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
No, no, I wasn't. I goes hospitalized.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
You just don't come across many people who have done
angel dusts all the party drugs and the weed and
all that. So people be like, oh, yeah, I did
it one time in college, or I did it when
I was in my twenties and this, but angel dust, like.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, that's a serious that's yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
No, no, like homeless people do angel dust sometimes are
like crazy bikers.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Like that crazy.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Like, now I just drink. Now, I'm cool with that.
I might drink tonight. Actually I might not because I
think I'm certainly going to drink on Sunday for the game. Yeah,
that's the game plan.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
The most unfortunate thing about the game, and I am
so mad about So. My son turned sixteen on Sunday.
My wife invited my family to the house, well her family,
right at three o'clock.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
One of the worst worst.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, but not just that. My father in law watching
any sports game with him is the absolute worst.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
All.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
He's not a know it all, but he believes the
game back in the sixties, any game is better than
was today. For example basketball, He gets mad because they
don't bounce past enough. He gets mad that they've done
too much and also did too many threes, and also
the court is too small. Bob Hablechack and Bill Russell
when they played, they would do all these things. I'm like,
(04:15):
oh my god. And I try to politely and gently
tell him, like, listen, the quality of athletes these days.
They can shoot. Everybody is a freak athlete. It's just
a different game. Oh no, no, but they don't bounce
past a bound. You're about a bounce like James Nasemith
didn't write it up. Yeah, this way. So and when
it comes to football again, everything was better back in
(04:36):
the old days of football. Then this person was better
and he doesn't understand why quarterbacks run.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
And that's who you're watching. The game was.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Oh please, yes, it's the worst. That's the only part
about this.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
And I'm like, jeez, you're watching it that way.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
I am going to a bar in Marshfields called the Jetty.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
It's in brent Rock. It's it's a really fun bar.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
But one of the guys from Mike's Fires the Fireman's
Firehouse is playing the bagpipes.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I don't know how much more Boston you can get
than that, but we don't understand. We're like, is he
playing the bagpipes at commercial? Is he playing the bagpipes
at the time? Like when do the bagpipes get played?
But we'll all be there.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
I got to imagine they'reing commercial because they're in playoff
games a lot of time out.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
And people like volume.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
People like to hear the game, especially when it's high
stakes like this. So I don't really know how it's
going to work. But I'll be drunk, so it's not
gonna matter to me.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, the bagpipes hit though.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
The bagpipes. Yeah, they win that game and all of
a sudden the bagpipes are out. It is a time
to be had. Hi, everybody, Happy Friday, Cheers to the
freaking weekend. Don't do drugs especial show and you need.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
To know we got you three things you need to
know on Boston's number one for hip hop and the
best throwbags.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
You haven't any more five Friday.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Jan sixteen, And I'll be honest with you, it's really
all anybody is talking about. This big Patriots game on Sunday,
Pats Texans. It is a three pm kick and I
feel like anytime I put on SportsCenter. Anytime I see
an interview, it's always Drake.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
May, Drake May, Drake May.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
No one can believe that he is twenty three years
old and just crushing it in the playoffs. Right now,
here's Ben Affleck who By the way, Ben's been out
and about with Matt Damon.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
They're promoting their film The Rip, And I don't know.
I love that he's with Matt because I feel as
if we get Ben in his most true form. He's relaxed,
he's still, he's with his best friend, he's comfortable, they're
making fun of each other, and I just feel like
he's being very open, a.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Lot better than when he's with the ex wife.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Well him speak, yeah, Jlo.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
He does not speak, and he rips butts, that's what
he does. But here's Ben talking about how just excited
he is that he got a Drake May in his lifetime.
Speaker 7 (06:56):
I mean, it's like a miracle. How do you get
another really good quarter? It's this is one of those
things where you think, like this is just good fortune.
It wasn't I thought it'd be. I thought i'd be
dead before I had another great football team.
Speaker 8 (07:06):
Well, also, like our childhood was spent like just. I
mean the Pats were Jim the way they're set up
for the future. Like, we're Drake may is twenty three
years old. We've got all this caps, We've got like
every time you see the.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Guy, but this kid is in nice school. I mean
people are like, no, Dad, you're just old.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Drake does look extremely young, yeah, but the wife looks
s evid younger.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I'm not even sure. Draken girl Beard Like, I'm not kidding.
I don't think he can.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
It's a little nugget, but we love him. That's our guy.
QB one. I think I feel like a constant conversation
that people are having. Here's what you do, guys.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
You don't care about the game, but you want to
be at work today and you want to join in
the conversation. Just walk past it and be like, I'm
worried about the Texans defense. That's all you got to say,
because that's all anybody's talking about anyway, the Texans defense.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
That's going to give you a little bit of upper
hand in the combo. You're gonna look knowledge without having
to go too much in depth.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
On a positive, their offense doesn't look great. They lost
a few players, so right, that's an.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
So you know, we just we will see. That's why
you play the game. I'm excited. Some people have off
on Monday for Martin Luther King Day.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
We are one of them, and so I will be
aggressively drinking for the Patriots game. And if you're in
the car, if you're going to Gillett, you're going to
hit traffic. Duh.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
To make sure you put on jamming because Pop's gonna
be doing the tailgate takeover.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
He'll get you ready for the game, all right. Asap Rockies,
a brand new album is out, Don't Be Dumb. Fifteen
tracks on its on, including some previously released ones Helicopter
and Punk Rocky. Tim Burton actually designed the cover art
for it. It's really cool. We had Tim Burton from
like beal Juice. Edwards says her head, Yeah, it's dope.
I have a couple of clips for you from a
(08:47):
couple of different songs. Here is Fish and Steak.
Speaker 9 (08:54):
Heck, I was on a stand like a boy.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Ain't even a Swiss.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
I'm gonna think you know where that is.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
My papa had about.
Speaker 9 (09:04):
To say him as he was on him right away.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Look you like today.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Risky Day, Look.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
You like say you like slave looking.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Willie Wayne Fish.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
I wonder if that's what Rey puts on when she's
making like pancakes for the kids.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Rihanna heard this music before it came out, right.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
This one's a little better. Here's helicopter Man, gimle white.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
K Yo Man and like a god lave a whitey
bo benning like yeah, hella, god wait, Y'm pretty black.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Petties bab you Yeah, I like.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
The pretty yeah, like Petie blod game a w yos
bending like anas got.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
A whitey Leo.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Bending like yeah, hella, god.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Wait, y'a I'm pretty black Katy stopped you yeah, and
with that pretty fly yeah like Petie flop True. Hey, listen,
you might not like the music, but the make would
be in jail. So at least he's not in jail
and he's out and he's making the music that he loves.
She heard that one too, She heard them all, by
the way.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
My favorite clip from Asap being on the road promoting
his album is the one where he basically says, my
mother was the one who told me like you need
to be with Rihanna.
Speaker 9 (10:20):
My mother used to say, like I know you like
this girl that you with right now. I ain't gonna
say no names, but I want you with reread. It's
just like, mom, why you keep saying that? Yeah, that
girl don't even like want me like that, Like we cool, Mom,
Like that's just my friend show. I'm telling you she
real and mother is.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
No best dad like he had a whole other girlfriend.
I know you like this girl, but you should be
with Rihanna.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
But parents have a sense though, when they can sense
that the girl that your child is with or the boy,
you just get a feeling.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I know which that's I'm not ready for that. That
sounds terrible.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
And then you have to keep your boundaries because you
don't want to say too much because I never know
what's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
And when they're young, they're gonna think like that's their
future husband, your wife.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
They're gonna be all committed. It's like laughable, all right.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
And lastly, Sagnti's one of them helping Bruno Mars topping
the touring world. He outperformed t Swift so On in
terms of largest single day ticket sales recorded in Live
Nation North American tour history for his upcoming Romantic tour,
And You're Gonna be there.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Can I tell you I am not. I'm not one
of these people who likes getting in the queue to
buy tickets for concerts and there seeing the number to
go down and down and down. The first time I
was in there, thirty five thousand. People were like, I
had thirty five thirty five thousand.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
That's nothing. Really, three hundred and fifty thousand were ahead
of me. Three hundred and fifty thousand ahead of me
for Zach Bryce.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Really that's like crazy. But then you get to the
end and you look at the ticket price of what's left.
I'm like five hundred dollars. I'm like, girls, yeah right,
I love you got me, yeah, but we're not going.
But thanks to you, like I was able to get
a four ticket, I'm.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Happy I had a little plug for you.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
But you're in his first headlining tour in ten years,
and the ticket demand is just nuts. He added thirty
new dates across North America, Europe, and the UK, Gillette
being one of them.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
He added a second date.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
I thought Bruno was popular, and I understood that, but
I didn't I guess I didn't understand for the teenagers
how big he was and all the girls, all the
girls at my daughter's school while talking about the concerts
and all make him plans like already for the show.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
His music is like happy, Yeah, it makes you move.
I think you're gonna have a great time. Yeah, I
think you're gonna have a good time. But that's he's
doing numbers with this tour. There's three things he needs
to know for Friday, Jan sixteen.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
You can listen live to the show and it doesn't
have to necessarily be from your car. You can do
it on the app.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
The app is free once you're there. Obviously, you can
add us as your number one preset. And if you
just want to catch up via the podcast, that's easy
to go on the app in the little search bar
for ashladep breath.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Hi, everybody, good morning, It's Friday.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
We made it and the jam In Morning Show Morning.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
Sautin's number one for hip hop dam in ninety four
or five.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Gear up, everybody.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
This is the text I this is the text I
got last night from Santi. Remind me to tell you
how I almost got into a legit fight with other
coaches today.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
I said, oh my god, I can't wait. He goes Ash,
they had to stop the game.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
I go.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
WTF. Yeah, like stopping the what's going on? What happened?
Speaker 3 (13:35):
God?
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, game last night.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Yes, I'm not going to say the school we were playing,
nor the town because I don't want it to go
to that deep, but I definitely do think there's a
problem here. So we and not to bore you with
any prefaces of what's happened. Listen, next thing, you know,
we're up ten to nothing in the first quarter. So
by that point I knew that we were going to
win the game. So what I did there is I
took off the full core press, which basically means I'm
(13:58):
gonna let up on defense, not play as intense on
the defensive side. But my girls were still playing basketball.
Once we were up by twelve, I started to sub
in all the subs.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
We still went still, is it still the first quarter.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
It's still the first quarter of the first half.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yeah, I mean that, which is fine, right, Oh yeah,
I mean in the second half, that's.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Okay, but thank you. So by the end of the
second quarter, which is the first half, I started subbing
in everybody so that my starters were all on the bench.
But the girls are still playing hard and they're having fun.
So we went into halftime up by about twenty points. Wow. Yes,
and again I understand, yeah, but all my starters.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Were most people have done it to you. They've tried
to run the score up on you.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
They've done it to me before, and they I had
an issue with running up to score because they put
on the full court press. Now that's a very basketball
term there, but in a sense like they were playing
intense defense. Now, when you're up by that much, there's
no point to doing it.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Yeah, for the most part, if you're not like a
sports person, if it is very evident that your team
is going to win the game and that's a safe bet,
most likely, you're taking out all of your starters. You're
giving people that don't play a lot more time. You're
not playing deference from end to end. You're just playing
at the half court mark like things.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Like that, which we were doing with all of subs.
So we came out on the second half, and maybe
this is where I went wrong, but we were only
up by twenty, so I put in my starters again
for a couple minutes. In those few minutes, I think
we had like a few fast breaks and like a
three pointer, and by that point I'm already subming people
back in because I'm like, all right, now I need
to get all like everybody else because now the game's
(15:30):
gonna get kind of like out of hand within my
thought process. In that time, I hear yelling from the
other coach, which who's who's a female, and she's our
arms up and she's yelling at me. I'm like, and
then my response to her, and basically her point was
you're a fast breaks, you're shooting threes and all that stuff.
I'm like, I understand, I agree with you. I'm working
(15:51):
on that right now. I'm getting I'm starting to sub
everybody in, still going, going, going, going, And like that's
what started to bother me. It was her tones, and
I kept saying, I agree, I understand. She finishes that,
and the guy doing the book, who is a coach
of the boys team, which that team was gonna play
after us, makes some snide comment but gave me an
intimidating look and was staring me dead in the eyes. Oh,
(16:13):
I took that. It's like, you're trying to intimidate me
and you're making a comment.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Do you want to fight?
Speaker 5 (16:18):
Like?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
What is this?
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I walked over to the table. I forget what he said.
But my first reaction to him was like, I don't
disagree with what you guys are saying, but your tone
is where you guys are off. If you have a
problem having adult conversation, that's what needs to happen. He
said something back. I said, that's not being an adult.
He made some sarcastic comment that was playing. Oh, I'm definite.
(16:39):
I can't hear. I'm like, see, that's acting like a child.
At that point, the ref stops the game. He goes,
this needs to stop right now. I'm like, I'm fine,
I just need communication here. Game continues. Subs are all in,
but they're scoring points.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
So are you telling them like past like run the plays,
pass the ball. Everyone want to touch the ball. There's
the other tricks you can do.
Speaker 10 (17:02):
Well.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
That brings me to my other point. So then the
subs are all in and they're running plays, right, they're
working on their game. They're just having fun. They're not
running up to score. They're just playing basketball. Another couple
of girls hit a couple threes. One girl hit a three,
and then the crowds are cheering because the subs are
in and there that threw her yelling again, I'm like,
(17:24):
what is the what yelling? She yelling? She's complaining because
uh where running plays, were hitting threes and there were
a couple of fast breaks.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Whether she can't be Like what words was she saying?
Like to you take take out your what do.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
You do when you're the coach? You should tell them
to stop and all this stuff? I go, listen, relax,
I understand, but these girls are playing basketball. By that point,
the ref stops the game. Both teams go to each corner,
give me the two coaches, and then he told the
guy on the thing to shut his mouth and that
he didn't deserve to do that. So she so he
(18:02):
brings us to center court and we're talking. Both the
reps are there, So I'm like listen and I started,
I understand, but she cuts me right off, starts going
off and off. So ref goes everybody quiet, one at
a time, so she went first. I waited the entire time. Basically,
she was saying that we're running plays, we're taking threes,
and we're doing fast breaks of scores, already.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Running up the score? What is running plates? Like, doesn't
you supposed to do?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
We were running basketball players? Like, hey, does she want
you to do.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
You're supposed to run like that would take more time
off the clock.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
What I assumed she didn't want plays being run, she
just wanted us to pass and shoot.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Makes zero sense to me, I understand, like, because we
would run a run plays because then more people touch
the ball and eat the time.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
And me, yeah, so in that so she's going, going, going,
saying all this stuff, and I go, listen, I understand, listen,
I understand your point of view. I don't disagree with you.
I go, but my problem right now is the way
your community and cuts me right off against See, if
we can't have this conversation, this is a problem, then
why why are we even talking? So I went over
to my corner to all my girls where they were,
(19:06):
and I'm like, listen, girls, here are the things. No
more running plays, no more taking threes, and no more
fast breaks. Like what do you mean? I go slow
down the game and don't run, don't run up and
down the court. They couldn't understand. I'm like, no more plays.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I don't even this whole place. Thing is very strange
to me because in fact, to me, it would be
the opposite.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
You run the play, you make sure everyone touches the ball,
we slow the clock down that way or not? You
know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Like, now, this is coming from a person who played
Division one basketball, right right? Basketball is a big part
of your life. Yes, so my girls couldn't understand. I'm like, guys,
I know what sounds crazy?
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Does it doesn't make sense?
Speaker 3 (19:45):
No plays, no threes, and don't run up and down
the court. So then like dribble slowly. I'm like, dribble
slowly up the court, which, in my opinion makes it
look even sadder.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
It does.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
And if I'm on the other team, I'm gonna be like,
what is even happening right now? Why are we even so?
But fine, game continues, and I'm my mouth is shut
because I've been yelled at. I've been right. I mean,
I felt like I was trying to be intimidated by
by like another man, and I'm like, what are we
doing here? Have a conversation. My thing completely was like
I think they're wrong, but I understand that point of view.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Did you like put them in a zone make things easier?
Speaker 5 (20:18):
No? No, no, no no.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
If I would have put him them in the zone,
if they would have been upset, I'm like, listen, play man,
don't don't play up, take a couple of steps back
and slow down the gad. So that happens, right, and
we're playing like that, mind you, her team is now
shooting threes, running plays and doing all the things that
(20:42):
I'm not allowed to do. That she's upset with. How
much were we up by by that point, probably like
twenty nine thirty? And again, I took everybody out when
we were up by twenty, so I understood it. I
took off the press when we were up by ten points. Yeah,
And then it was like I was just sitting in
there like I couldn't believe it. I was so upset
about the fact that I was spoken to like that,
and I'm like, you're right, I disagree with her, but
(21:05):
I was understanding her.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
I was, yeah, you're like, you know, trying to sympathize
to the fact that, hey, yeah, we're blowing you out.
I'm doing everything I can. I'm playing my bench.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
What bothers me is that that happened in front of
all those people. And I'm level headed when it comes
to conversation. I even times when the other person doesn't
deserve me to try to give them an understanding and
understand that point of view. I was doing that, and
she's they they she.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Couldn't even like appreciate that. You were like, hey, I
see what you're saying.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
They did that. I would have apologized.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
How was it?
Speaker 1 (21:34):
What did you end up winning by?
Speaker 3 (21:37):
We won forty three to eleven. Okay, playing like.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Yeah, how was the Did you shake hands at the
end of the game of it?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
So we line up at the end and I'm like, listen,
I'm not gonna not you know what I mean. I'm like,
for the girl's sake and for the team, because my
team played hard, they had fun in all this stuff.
So we come to the end of the line, we
shook hands and she goes, good game, coach, and just
turn and turn around. It was kind of sarcastic. So
I just rolled my eyes and went back. As I
was walking off the court, the rest pulled me into
another room. They wanted to get me one on one
(22:11):
and they said that was b Yes, they had no
right to do that. That was wrong on their part.
They should have not done that. They handled that completely wrong.
And he actually thanked me for taking off the press
four minutes into the game.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Yeah, you had the wherewithal to know, like, if we
keep this up, we'll win by one hundred.
Speaker 5 (22:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Absolutely, And I again, if I ran out to score,
if I would ever, I can understand it. Even when
I thought I was doing the right thing, Yeah, I
was still thinking about her point of view and telling
her like I understand, Yeah, give me a second, I
will work on this.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Sports etiquette is interesting in that way because you obviously
want to win the game, but there is that there's
that gray, weird area where it's like you you don't
want to bullieve somebody right like that. That was a
great game for your starters to be able to sit
on the bench, chill, relax, let the play.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
And you did that.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah, And I think what happened with the crowd to
the bench. Players were in and all these parents come there.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
It's exciting, right, they don't get players.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Were hitting baskets. Everybody was excited too. These are teenage girls,
so we're not talking about people like you know what
I mean. They're just out there having fun. They aren't
thinking about let's run off the score. They aren't thinking
about this. They're just playing basketball. We're in again.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
And here's the thing, is that coach going to do
that clearly that team is bad. Is she going to
do that everywhere she goes?
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Well, you can't. Here's the thing, and you can probably
attest to this more than anything girls basketball at this level,
Like there are some lopside of teams. There are really
good teams and they're really bad. They don't want to
say bad teams, but teams that aren't as good levels.
We've been demolished by teams. And my only issue with
the time that we got demolished is that this coach
ran a full defense the entire game and they were
(23:44):
up by forty courts. Yeah, they were up by forty something.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Right I have, But that's wrong, Like that's sports that
I'm talking about and doing that.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
And I didn't expect them to stop playing basketball, because
for me, that's even sadder. So when teams like this
go against teams like that, like what do you what's
your expectation? Then then why even play if it's just
gonna be that? Should you go in and say, hey, guys,
don't try so hard today because of the other team,
Like wow.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yeah, So trials and tribulations of middle school basketball, Oh
my god.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
And it's not the players. This is the saddest thing.
It's the it's the adults, and I just wish as
adults and I'm gonna say we, even though it's not
not me, we could have had a conversation because you
can approach me with anything in life, and I'm willing
to listen and understand even if I disagree. At the
end of the day, they were wrong on that part.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
And the real hot goss was that the guy who
was yelling at you, who had nothing to do with
the game. I mean, I what we're hearing, what I
hear hearing. He was defending his lady.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Yeah, so even like even that's that aspect, I understand,
I get it, but man, id just have a conversation.
I mean, do not try to intimidate me in front
of a school, the people, in front of my players.
You're like, what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (24:55):
I see these videos of these parents like legitimately fighting
in the stands, and I'm like, this, it can't be real.
It could have happened to you. He could have got
up tried to fight you.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I wish you could have seen the look that he
gave me. Then that's what I'm like, Wait a second,
is this an intimidation tactic? Like what are you doing.
I went over, I'm like, have a conversation, right Like,
I keep repeating it because it sounds crazy to me.
Just have a conversation.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
I know, I can totally understand the frustration of trying
to coach a team like that. I mean, losing forty
three to eleven is tough. But if you took out
the full court took off the full court press, you
took out your starters, and you were telling them to
slow down, there's not really much more you can do
if you tell them to miss on purpose, keep giving
the other team the ball, Like, that's not how you.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Play exactly, and what lesson does that teach on either
side of the team. My girls were like they were upset.
They were like, so everybody who doesn't get to play
on the regular now we're into the game, but they're
being told they can't play to their level or try
to show that they can play at the higher level, right,
Like it was very frustrating. Wow, but anyways, Yeah, that
was my third.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Sh'd you have thought that would have really elevated the story. TikTok,
what is happening with kids? Sportsman's It's spooky out there.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
Ring show?
Speaker 6 (26:09):
When you need to know. We got you three things
you need to know on Bustin's Number one for hip
Hop and the best Throwbags. She haven't any more five.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Friday, January sixteenth, and you gotta believe comes Sunday, Cardi
b is gonna be in Foxborough, right, I mean where else?
She wasn't there last week, that which I didn't like.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
She has to be rehearsing for the tour, and I
and like that I, you know, would take her out
of it.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
She's one hundred percent. She's one hundred percent rehearsing for
the tour because she posts about it at a ton
but like being Foxborough three pm stuff on Digsy.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
Yes, but I do feel like this game is not
really the important one yet it's important because we need
to get past this one. It's the one that's the
week after in the super Bowl. Those are the ones
where she needs the bee.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
And hey, maybe she's superstitious. Maybe she's like I didn't
go last week and you won. Yeah, you know, we
don't know, but everybody's talking about it. Pats Texans this
Sunday three pm kick. I know my dad will text
me and be like, what's the weather looking like?
Speaker 1 (27:07):
On Sunday.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
There's been a whole conversation leading up to this weekend
that we were gonna maybe get smacked with a big storm.
It doesn't look like it anymore.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
I mean, it's gonna be cold, chance of snow showers,
The temperatures are gonna be thirty four to thirty seven.
But the key to is between four and five PM.
That's when the showers would start.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
But it's not gonna be bad snow showers or rain
or combo.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
It's gonna be a combo of everything. It all depends
on the next couple of days.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Sounds gross to play in. Nonetheless, Drake May is just
that's QB one. Everybody's talking about him, including Ben Affleck.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
I mean, it's like a miracle. How do you get
another really good quarter? It's this is one of those
things where you think, like this is just good fortune.
It wasn't I thought it'd be. I thought I'd be
dead before knowing I had another great football team.
Speaker 8 (27:51):
Well, also, like our childhood was spent like just I mean,
the Pats were jimun the way they're set up for
the future, like we're Drake May is twenty three years old.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
We've got all this caps We've got.
Speaker 7 (28:03):
Like every time I see the guy, but this kid
is in nice school, people are like, no, dad, you're
just old.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
First off, Ben's kids need to relax because that man's
like good bad. Yeah, yeah, that is great. But anyways,
I digress. He does look like a baby. He's twenty
three years old. He is a baby.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
Now.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
If you do the math on that, we could be
seeing like championship teams for the next fifteen years if
you think about it at the very least, and if
he goes by Tom standards, we have twenty two.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Tom played until he was thirty forty five. Forty five.
I was gonna say thirty nine.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
Wow, but Tom's an anomaly.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Tom's Yeah, that's what happens when you need a lot
of avocado ice cream.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
It is the kick that everybody's talking about. Three pm
is when it happens. It's Sunday. I'm going to be
out and about.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
I'll be drinking, Mama's drinking.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Texans Defense looks really good. I think it's gonna be
a great game.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Yea it is.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Yeah, Mommy's coming.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
You're drunk.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
I was going to be about March Fume all right.
Asaps new album ACEP that is is out, Don't be dumb.
The album features fifteen tracks.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Including some ones that he had already dropped, Helicopter and
Punk Rocky. Tim Burton did the cover art for his album,
which was cool. We all, we obviously know Tim Burton
from Beetlejuice. Edward saysorhands. He has a look.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
He has a very gothic slash uh colorful look.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Right, Tim, correct me if I'm wrong. Is married to
the actress Bella tracks from Harry Potter, and they live
in homes next to each each other, but they don't
live together, which is the craziest of crazy.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
They have a very non traditional relationship. But Tim Burton
is also like you know, is Tim Burton? Yeah, but
a genius.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Nonetheless, let's play a few of the new songs from
the album. Here is a clip of Fish and Steak.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
I'm gont even a Swiss.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
I mean you know where it is my papa halbout.
Speaker 9 (30:02):
To, said him as he was on him.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Right away.
Speaker 10 (30:07):
You like.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Every game you like, you like, It's not for me.
It's not my cup of tea. Like if that fine,
that's what you like you like?
Speaker 3 (30:23):
I mean this gives insight into their marriage, though he
doesn't listen to his wife. His wife was like, that's
not good, and he was like, nah, it hits all right.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Maybe you'll like this one. Here's no trespassing, it's.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
Tucking bag list.
Speaker 9 (30:36):
Let's get out of his mind as him up the
check list between the lote, I may't w the textis
where my wife is?
Speaker 3 (30:42):
And then if you dress this, I'm gonna shut him.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Oh, Santi's moving everybody. I think you might have a winner,
like to beat there. That's nice so far.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
This is the best one I've heard. Yeah, one's good.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Well a SAP's been out and about, obviously gearing up
for this album job, trying to get people excited, and
he most recently went viral for saying this.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
I mean they the saying mothers no best exists for
a reason.
Speaker 9 (31:14):
My mother used to say, like, I know you like
this girl that you would right now. I ain't gonna
say no names, but I want you with Rere. It's like, Mom,
why you keep saying that? Yeah, my girl don't even
like want me like that, Like, but we cool, Mom,
Like that's just my friend show. I'm telling you she
Brew and Mother's no best.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
He had a whole other girlfriend, and she was like, no,
she's super nice. I know you like her and everything,
but you need to be with Frehanna.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Looking back, I feel like my mother was suddenly trying
to tell me that my girlfriend at the time was
not the one for me. My dad was not subtle
at all at all.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
By the way, ah influencer posted on ig and she
was just literally looking at the camera and she put
trying to decide if in the year of twenty twenty six,
I want to get my body right and get my
pre baby body back, or just have another baby. And
Rihanna commented and was like, oh my god, I'm thinking
the same thing.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
One.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
I don't know clearly, it's clearly it's in her in
her head, she's thinking about it.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
I will say, though, the joy of having four is
absolutely awesome.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Oh I can't.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Even if I wasn't my age and I didn't have
such crazy times getting pregnant, I would go for three.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
I would go for three.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
Yeah, I would.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
It is a lot of fun, even in the craziness
that is my life. I would go.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
The only challenge to having four or plus two or
whatever it is, is traveling. It becomes a whole nother thing.
You have a whole team, and the dollar sign keeps
going going on for sure.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
All right, little Zerk is no longer in solitary. Yeah,
I know you were worried about it. I know you
were worried about it. Five months Yeah, why month?
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Well, uh, he's been moving back to Gen Pop at
the LA Metropolitan Detention Center where he resides. Remember he's
been incars rated since twenty twenty four following his arrest
on a murder for higher charge. Why you want to
know did he spend those months in isolation? Well, have
an Apple Watch, and they caught them for that possession
(33:09):
of an Apple Watch.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
You could do a lot on the Apple Watch, though,
can't you?
Speaker 3 (33:12):
You can?
Speaker 1 (33:13):
But I feel like text on that thing.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
They give a lot less for a cell phone though, No, right,
I feel like of all the things that you could
be caught with, that's like money.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Isn't that a cell phone? Essentially? I don't have an
Apple Watch?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Yes, essentially.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
In fact, I'm gonna be honest for everybody. I want
the Apple Watches to die. Like I hate how they look.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I hate that people like get dressed up to go
out and still put them on like, hey, you're in
a full on gown.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
I hate off the Apple Watch? What are you doing
with your life?
Speaker 5 (33:44):
That?
Speaker 3 (33:45):
I understand, show some respect for yourself. But they are
very convenient though they are.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
You know, okay? Is it like pick up the phone
and look or you turn your wrist and look. I
mean aesthetically, I just ask.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
So what you're saying. But it's hard.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
I see these girls going out.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
I know.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
It's just like I see these girls going out on
a Saturday night and they're all dull. They have their
heels on whatever, and then they have that Apple Watch.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
I understand for the night. But it's also hard for
me to tell you how convenient it is because you
have to have one on and understand what the life
is like.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Are you wearing an Apple Watch with your role?
Speaker 10 (34:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Right, so what are you talking?
Speaker 3 (34:21):
I have one?
Speaker 1 (34:22):
What do you talk? But yeah, but you don't wear
it like that. Would you wear it with the suit?
Speaker 3 (34:27):
I would not know.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Like they put him in five months of solitary because
they were like, you look stupid, like aesthetically, it's just
that they're they're not I promise fine, but they're not.
They don't look good. There's three things need to know
for Friday, Jan sixteen, I just upset all the Apple
watch community right there. Make sure you access the show
by calling. That's a very easy way. But you can
also use the app down the free iHeartRadio app. Put
(34:50):
jam In on and while you're there, you could give
us lit'tle talk back and say what number one for
hip hop? He am in ninety four or five?
Speaker 5 (35:04):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Everybody? Good morning. Was it a couple of days ago
or it was yesterday? The day before we talked about
that viral video where the guy was doing the say
the word challenging in Boston acts and he was like,
ca ta ba baa, and so many people hit me.
I like, you have to try to get the fireman
to do this.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
So yesterday I'm like, hey can I I have to
say to him, Hey, can I put you on my
social media? That's I'm not even kidding. If we're going
like on Sunday, this will be a very good example
of the life that I live. And I get so
jealous of these couples that like record each other and
they put I would do that all the time if
I could, because there's so many moments in my house
(35:44):
that I feel like would be funny. But on Sunday,
I will say to him, hey, can we take a
picture and of us and put it on my social media?
Like I have to give him a couple hours in
advance so that way he can gear up, like even to.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
That ease into us potentially, because I'll have one of
my friends be there take a photo of us, and
we have to like ease into the content because he
and I'm using it's just a picture of us, but
if I pull the phone out, it is immediate clams up.
He doesn't like you guys.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
He got like an attitude about me. He didn't really
understand that. It was an accent. Things didn't tell him that,
but he didn't get why I would want to record
him playing this game.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
He's like, this is stupid. And what did he say,
I'm not like your little pony for Instagram. Yes, I'm
not your circus seal. Essentially, it was what he was
saying to me, like, I'm not going to do this
for your con because he's really non existent. He's actually
on my Instagram right now. He doesn't know.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
I had to get him at Ashley Felman tweets on
the Ashley Sleeping that was this morning when.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
I left the house. Yeah, because the toddler snuck into
our bed at like four a m. And I was
just taking a picture of them because look at them
and the happy little couple in there. But the bottom
line is that man is so anti social media being
a part of anything of mine, even if we're doing
a family photo. But I mean, Duenn's rely on yours
(37:12):
like that either.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
No, but when she's on it, it's usually because we're
on vacation or it's something to do with work where
she has to be on it. Her thing is that
she's just shy and doesn't like to be put out there.
She doesn't like to put herself out there like that. Yeah,
I mean I have to, like again give her the
heads up, like we need to do this for x
y Z.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yes, me too, And I think I would say the
fireman's kind of the same way. He's reserved. He keeps
to himself. He doesn't care about any of that type
of stuff.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
The other thing too, I don't think my wife is funny.
When I put her in videos and stuff, she changes
her tone and then it becomes like eh, now if
you really want to see her, people might think she's
mean because sometimes like a lot of times she's yelling
around the house, not that she's a cycle, but like,
you know, like she has an edge to her.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
I agree, as soon as the camera comes out, it's
like they're not fun anymore. What's going on with your voice?
And not to say he was like just a ball
of joy, but he's definitely awful as soon as the
camera comes out. But I will have to say, hey,
it's Christmas, so I would love to get a picture
of the four of us, if that's okay, and that'll
be at eight am and then I'll shoot for the
(38:15):
picture around like one, two, three pm.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
So that he has had time to ease it. But
I do get jealous of some of these people who
you can tell like that's just what they do, right,
They just they're eating, they're taking pictures, videos, all the things.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
But at the same time, I would argue that most
of those people, probably when the cameras off them, are
miserable and they're just yeah, playing it out for the post.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
I know it's like which one is it. I do
love that he has no social media.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
I think that helps us like avoid a lot of
unnecessary arguments because I know people will tell I mean
my own friends that are in relationships, like they get
in fights over and.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
I wouldn't you. You would inevitably worry because you've been
saddened when it's your birthday or something and Joanne doesn't
post a picture of you. You have felt the type
of way about that. Yes, which, by the way, I
would too, and like, listen, should.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
It really matter?
Speaker 5 (39:04):
No?
Speaker 3 (39:05):
But at the same time, that medium is designed to
do that. And sometimes I also feel like she doesn't
like really play it up too, like she'll just post,
and it feels so like that's all I got, so yeah,
like and I feel bad because in person she tells
me happy birthday and all this stuff. It makes me
feel special in the moment, but then we need the
representation on social and on.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
The complete opposite ends of that conversation, I'd like to
say that I am so thankful that he doesn't have it,
because I have seen that man's camera roll. If you
looked at the photos of me in my husband's camera role,
you would literally think that I zero like disgusting the
(39:48):
angles he gets me. It's not good on that camera roll.
It's so bad.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
I've said to him, like, this is horrifying I've asked him, Hey,
if somebody said to you, what does your wife look like?
Speaker 1 (39:58):
What picture would you show?
Speaker 5 (39:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
I nearly fainted, I nearly collapse. I was He was like,
I really like this one, and he turned it and
I was pregnant at the time, and I was like
sitting with my legs like spread ego on a chair
and it was just gut and eight chins. I'm like that,
first off, I'm not pregnant anymore, why would you show them?
He's like, Oh, I just like that picture life but.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Gives more of a representation of how you are, not
like every day but like your pictures that you post
are really amazing, but they're also like you're you're to
me in my every day that I have. But yes,
so it's fine. But even sometimes with that, like you
like to like do the over the shoulder looking in
the photos.
Speaker 5 (40:40):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I just wish every girlfriend or wife could could provide
their man like the one photo so that way when
people say that you guys have it ready to go,
because what what that man has in his gallery is
like I want that phone to be bombed.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
As men, we there are certain things about our women
that we kind of like Oh, I like the way
her eyes look here, and sometimes we disregard some of
the other things that might be more evident for you guys.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Yeah, like that she looks like she weighs two tons.
I mean, I don't have a special time for you.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
He was so happy.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
I just like he did that.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
He was proud.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Why is it? Why are you guys like that? I
mean that is six one seven nine three one one
nine four five Because I've seen some of the camera
roll for husbands and I'm like, you did smack yourself.
Speaker 11 (41:27):
Everybody, Happy Friday, Go pats all the things we Uh,
we're actually gonna do the check in here six one
seven nine three one one nine four five.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
That a six one seven nine three one one nine
four five. We're talking about anything you want. You have
a thought, you the story, anything you want to talk about.
Will do it. Uh.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
Danielle is gonna kick it off for us. She's in Hopdale.
Uh where's Hopdale?
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Nowhere? Can't find it, Danielle, I don't so what.
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Happened is.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
What's going on? What's going on in Hopedale? Where's Hopedale?
Speaker 4 (42:07):
Hopetale's right outside of Milford, like Hockington.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
From the from the marathon of the Boston Marathon. Yeah,
that's all I got. That's what I know. So it
looks like you and I are living like parallel lives.
You have a husband of five years and literally will
not take a photo. Yes, I have a three year
old son as well.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
As soon as my phone comes out, he's nowhere to
be found.
Speaker 6 (42:32):
The only Oh.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
What'd you spill?
Speaker 3 (42:39):
Oh are you there?
Speaker 1 (42:42):
I am here? Sorry, it's the service in Hopdale.
Speaker 5 (42:45):
Man.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
I know I was saying that. Yeah, he's nowhere to
be found.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
But the only great photo he's ever gotten of me
is when after I gave birth to our son and
I didn't know what existed for six weeks.
Speaker 1 (42:59):
So wow, he was he was one for one. Danielle,
thank you for the call. You know what's funny, I
just thought about that too. I also see these online
like Instagram husbands that now listen, I have a good one,
Like the fireman will take a thousand photos of me,
Like if I set myself up in the position and
I'm like, hey, can you take this picture of me
in my outfit or whatever, like, he'll do that, but
(43:20):
he's never going to hit me with a paparazzi. Style photo.
And there's so many times throughout the day where I'm
like maybe carrying both the girls or we're like laying
on the couch together. I'm like, man, this would be
a good picture. Nothing because I see these other husbands
out here taking candids and it's like that's never I
have to say, like.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
Can you now in his defense maybe the one that
where you were pregnant with the double chins and all
U stuff, that was a candidate, right, bring it up.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
That wasn't actually he done? I fired him. I fired
him in that moment.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (43:50):
How are you doing? Let's chat six one seven nine
three one one nine four five six one seven nine

Speaker 4 (44:23):

Speaker 2 (44:26):

me their real name. I know you didn't come out
of the womb named t fly.
Speaker 4 (44:33):
Absolutely, nah, my real name is Tony Tony.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Let's say adult Tony. How are you doing.
Speaker 4 (44:41):
I'm doing good in yourself.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
I'm good. What's up? What you got going on?
Speaker 4 (44:45):
Not much, man. I just want to give a shout
out to all my CDL drivers. I just want to
all my CDL drivers drive safe and you know what
I mean, keep getting to this money, you know. I
also want to give a shout out to my brother.
He no longer this earth, but I just want to give.
Speaker 5 (44:58):

I want to let them know that I miss sorry,
I love you dog, miss you really and yeah man,
yeah yeah stay positive out there?
Speaker 1 (45:09):
Do you feel like do you feel like we're a
positive show?
Speaker 5 (45:11):
Like?
Speaker 1 (45:11):
What are your thoughts on that? What could we what
could we work on to be more positive?
Speaker 3 (45:17):
I know?
Speaker 4 (45:17):
Yeah, yeah positive. Yeah, definitely be sending some positive words,
you know what I mean. Definitely out there. I've been
listening to y'all a lot, you know what I mean.
I'm a chick driver, so you know, I definitely listening
to the radio.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
That's what I mean.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
You're on the road, so I know I know you
get to listen, probably more than other people. I honestly,
overwhelmingly am a negative person, but I'm trying to be better.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
I'm trying trying to be up and out. Do you
sound like a positive guy. I'll take a little I'll
take a little bit out of your playbook.
Speaker 4 (45:46):
I try, you know, I try. Especially when you when
you go through a line of life, you you learn
how to humble yourself, you know.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
I'm sorry about the loss of your brother. I'll be
thinking about you. And yeah, shout out to all the
truck drivers. We have a lot of you guys that listen, so.
Speaker 1 (45:59):

Speaker 4 (46:02):
Once again, Nellie Fordo, I love you, bro, all.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Right, Yeah, thanks for the call.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Sounds like he's saying Nelly for Toado like I'm not good,
Like he's shouting out Nelly for to I don't know,
I'm not at all.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
John is in Chelsea, Hi, John, good morning.
Speaker 5 (46:18):
Well, yoh, shout out to the last guy. I'm a
truck driver too.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
I see do we have so many truck drivers that
listen to the show. And I found this out John
in twenty twenty. You know, when everybody was off the
roads and our phones never died like that, people still
kept calling the show and every time like who are
these people?
Speaker 1 (46:35):
Truck drivers? The truck drivers they had to go to.
Speaker 3 (46:37):
Work, you know.
Speaker 5 (46:39):
So I just want to give all the shout out
to Less Strokes.
Speaker 10 (46:44):
It's a foundation that brings it, raises awareness and help
support stroke survivors. And they just donated three thousand dollars
to the Teddy Bruski Foundation.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
Oh wow, are you a stroke survivor?
Speaker 5 (46:57):
No?
Speaker 1 (46:58):
No, no, god no, are you so close to the cause.
What's your.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
Well?
Speaker 10 (47:03):
I had, I had him, I had the gentleman named
Chris Calderon on my podcast Solo Cups Saturdays.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
I just want to shouted it out, you know. I
think it's a great cause.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
So yeah, that's amazing.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
I just want to put it out there and follow
the I G.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
What's the what's the I G?
Speaker 5 (47:21):
So the the I G is less uh Less Strokes
L E S S S.
Speaker 3 (47:31):
T R O K.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
Yes, Less Strokes.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
Got it?
Speaker 5 (47:34):

Speaker 1 (47:36):
If you guys can a lot of things happening in
that com though, John, thank you so much for the
call be safe on the roads. He had somebody from
Less Strokes onto his podcast and he was moved by
it and he wanted to give them a shout out.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
I'm supposed to. I'm supposed to do their podcast at
some point. The unfortunate thing is they're in Landa. We're
trying to coordinate a time. But Solo Cups Saturdays is
the name of the podcast.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
They want you on the podcast.
Speaker 3 (47:55):
Yes, I will.
Speaker 1 (47:57):

They didn't ask me. Maybe maybe they're warming up. Maybe
they're asking you to.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
Get the end with me.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
No, I'm an easier get than you are. You're like
a big ask. It's like us asking for somebody from
Medal that works that dunks versus getting like Tom Brady on. Yeah,
it's it's just a it's just a different thing.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
What that's crazy, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
I'll go on with you like as ask for Leo.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
Okay six seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five
call us. We're talking about whatever you want. It is
the check in only on Jammed. I don't know only
Forzato though.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
Hi everybody, good morning, It's Astley and the jam In
Morning Show. Feel free to hit us up six one
seven nine three one one nine four five at six
one seven nine three one one nine four five. We're
checking in in the meantime, seeking of checking in this
social media trend that's going crazy right now. I know
you know what I'm talking about is the old What
(49:04):
were you doing in twenty sixteen?
Speaker 3 (49:05):
Yes, I've seen it.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
Yeah, have you done it? Have you at least gone
back in and checked out your twenty sixteen photos?
Speaker 3 (49:12):
I have not done yet because I backed up all
my old photos on my phone, so I would have
to go find them, but I want to do it.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
I have them on my phone. Man, what a trip.
Speaker 2 (49:23):
It's a trip down memory lane, that is for sure,
because you know ten years ago you were in a
completely different Most people were in a completely different place
in their life.
Speaker 4 (49:32):
For sure.
Speaker 10 (49:33):
Me.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
I mean for me, I was so married to my
wife and always say I was working at a different place.
But for you, seeing it through that perspective, it just
you're like a different person. No it's not in a
bad way, but just like you know, you were dating
and all that.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
Yeah, it's nuts.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
It's wild to think how much things change so quickly.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Yeah, it's it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Like I was single, I was dating, I had just
come out of a relationship that I was on a
completely different show.
Speaker 1 (49:59):
I was doing Mornings with Frankie, but I was still
on Jammin.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
Yeah. I was a country one or two five, and
I wanted to like punch myself in the face every
single day I was there. It was not fun for me.
I felt so undervalued and so out of my element
and just like, yeah, a place I know.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
And you know what, It's funny because I thought about
I just I thought about posting some of these because
I see everybody's doing it. But I'm just like, I
don't know, it's it's just such a different time, not
a bad way, it's just I was so I would.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
I mean, I think you just change as people. But
is there anything from that time that you like saw
in those pictures They're like, oh, I misdoing this.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
It was a lot. I was out a lot, Yeah,
which I still try to be. I just can't do
it as much because of the kids.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Yeah, but a lot of the pictures, like I was
out out and about like clubs, bars, I mean, body
suits a lot.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Even up until when you had kids, you were still
going out like a good amount, you know.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
Right, Yeah, And I mean like and I still try to,
Like we're going out Sunday. I would say at that time,
I was going out so much that it was you know,
that was what I did every every weekend. Now I'm
every time we get the chance to go out and
we have a sitter and all of the things line up.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
I'm like, wow, this feels great.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
This feels amazing, Like I really relish in the moment.
I try to slow it down because it just doesn't
come as often like I want out.
Speaker 3 (51:27):
And about my twenty sixteen I just thought of it
would not have had my youngest son. He wasn't in
the picture and he was born. He was born the
following year. Yeah, and that summer is when I got
my wife pregnant on vacation, so like, yes, down the
cape after a bottle of wine, I was like, you know,
but that dynamic is different because I don't I can't
(51:48):
remember life. I remember life without him, but it just
doesn't feel feels odd just having three kids.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
I will say, I do like looking at other peoples though,
because it's just it's funny, like it's any picture that
I've come across, where like, you know, what's crazy. There
are also people in my life from twenty sixteen that
aren't in my life anymore. But on the other end
of that, there's so many people that are still in
my life. Like I was just texting my one of
my besties, Mozelle, I'm like, look at us in twenty sixteen.
You know we're still very close.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
Yeah, I'm sure for a lot of people too. It's
like seeing how much not that the aging's bad, but
you see more wrinkles around your eyes and stuff like that.
For me, that would be the biggest thing. I'm sure
in two thousand and sixteen, No, I was getting to
me that my beer was still black. Now it's like
salt and pepper, not just time happening. No, I'm not
talking about your.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
Tax is coming. I think it's coming, And when it comes,
are you happy?
Speaker 3 (52:37):
Are you sad?
Speaker 1 (52:38):
She's frozen and tumbling
