about like our wedding planner. When we initially tried to
get her wedding planner, the girl ghosted us. So she

think about that. The wedding planner for his wedding just
ghosted you and your fiance.

So we're doing this kind of intimate little crab feast
the day before our wedding, and I thought I invited
all my close family, like I thought I had checked
everyone's name. I did not. And then all my close
family got together this past weekend and was rsvping together.

Oh yeah, and one of my aunts and one of
my cousins would not invited to crab feast. Yeah, and
they're like, oh, I don't see it on ours. It's weird.
So then I get a call from my other aunt
the next day of like, hey, there's some people angry
with you. So I suggest you kind of get your
calls in around because people have not been invited to
the craft. And it was just it was literally just

a like manual air, like you got to check people's names.
But I still have not heard back from one of
my cousins.

Yeah no, And I can picture like family members feeling
a type of way about that because I straight up
asked you, is she the type of person that's going
to be like no, I'm good. I don't even send
of the invite, like you didn't invite me initially, Like
I'm not going to go.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Yeah, yeah, she would take it there, we're close, Like
I think I thought I would get the benefit of
the doubt, like she would know I would not invite
my other cousins and not her. But I'm sure she
kind of just wants to steal on it a little bit.

Okay, okay, good, because I'm like you got we had
one thing.

Yeah, and to be fair, like we have had issues
with solo just like not saving our changes too when
we do it, because like maybe my fiance will be
doing it on her phone, I'll be doing it on
my phone, and it's not saving both of them. Yeah,

If I feel like everybody's using like newly whatever it is,
all of these websites and they can go because because
we have a wedding upcoming in October and they have
like a welcome party the night before, and it does
specifically say like you're also invited to Friday's event, have

Yeah, so I hope it all works out. We actually
might also change the venue for that kind of last
minute too. We're kind of what, yeah, we're getting down
to the wires. What's going on?

Well, we were going to do it at an airbnb
that we had, this big airbnb, but they're being they're
like not responding to us to make sure we can
do it there. So we're like, well, we could just
rip it and see what happens, maybe we get kicked out,
or we could look at another venue.

Where we could do it, cause like we're almost a
month out. Oh yeah, we're gonna have you guys done.
Because this causes a lot of fights between couples. The
seating chart, no not check because that actually is really hard.

you perform this? So you should be performing what you
like and I'm like, no one wants to hear that.
And then I did a Feeder Wop cover and it
got fourteen million views, and I was like, you know what, sorry, guitarist,

Yeah, your story is nuts, but let's start out with
the fact that, yes, you used you used to do
these covers for these crazy songs, but now you're like,
I want to do my own stuff, and you just
dropped an album Renaissance Man.

of destination wedding planners and I was like, Hey, do
you have anybody that's getting married in Italy, you know,
on these days? And this one lady and I think

it to the clients. They loved me and then they
flew me out and yeah, so you just.

You played the wedding and that's how you got the flights.

Yeah, the day before I played the wedding and the
next morning I went climbed the tower Pisa, tried.

the craft. And it was just it was literally just

But I still have not heard back from one of
my cousins.

I was actually in the middle of a college tour
doing acoustic shows, me and a guitarist. I was playing
whatever pop song, hip hop song, whatever it would be.
I thought people would like to hear and within backstage,
I was just listening to hip hop all the time,
and my agent came back and he's like, why don't
you perform this? So you should be performing what you
like and I'm like, no one wants to hear that.
And then I did a Feeder Wop cover and it
got fourteen million views, and I was like, you know what, sorry, guitarist,

You're fine.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, your story is nuts, but let's start out with
the fact that, yes, you used you used to do
these covers for these crazy songs, but now you're like,
I want to do my own stuff, and you just
dropped an album Renaissance Man.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
Now this is all your original work.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
Yeah, yeah, I produced every song, I wrote everything, everything's
I did every single thing on the album except mix it.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
I think people listening to my ash what do you
mean violate?
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Like I have a few of his songs, but here's
a clip right off the brand new album, and here's
the actual title track, Renaissance Man.

There's just something about the violin.

there are a bunch of artists been doing the orchestral concerts.

Yeah, the reason for that, no, one hundred percent.

We have to do it. We have to tell like

We're good, we're safe, and now everybody's perking up in
the car. So Red and I like, we met years
and years ago, but we've we're always been cool on
social We'll talk, we'll communicate. And he hit me a
couple of years back and was like, I can't say
much about it, but because I know you're a fan,
I just want to let you know, like I've been
working with Ya and Tai Dallas signed.

I was like almost. I was like, he goes, let's.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Say very casual.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
He's like, I can't say much. And then a couple
of years past, I want to say and he was like,
we're getting close to me being able to tell you
some things, but let's start at the top, because I
just think this is the wildest story. Who reached out
to you first? Was it Tie or was it Yay?
Speaker 4 (17:54):
No, it was Tie.
Speaker 8 (17:56):
So I did strings on the opening track for Leon
thomas last album and Lee on entire like brothers. You know,
they're super tight and Leon was there as well. But
there are rumors that yay And and ty Dolla sign
were working on a new album.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
You know, Oh they're in Italy.
Speaker 8 (18:10):
Oh they're in the Middle.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
East whatever, and sign out.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
I don't want to interrupt you, but guys, this is
Vultures Era, just so that there's a timeline for everybody.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, A good call.
Speaker 8 (18:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and yeah. So I actually had reached
out to Ty though, and I was like, Hey, I
don't know if you know who I am. I did
strings for Leon blah blah blah, and we know a
lot of people in common. And yeah, he was like,
on exactly who you are? And I told him I
lied and said, hey, I'm going to be in Italy

on whatever dates. Then he's like, where else are you
on the seventeenth? And I was like, I got to
figure this out. Neighborhood shooters, She's crazy. It was written
in the stars because I reached out to a bunch
of destination wedding planners and I was like, Hey, do
you have anybody that's getting married in Italy, you know,
on these days? And this one lady and I think
(18:59):
it was like Seattle did and she reached out sent
it to the clients. They loved me and then they
flew me out and yeah, so you just.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
You played the wedding and that's how you got the flights.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:09):
Yeah, the day before I played the wedding and the
next morning I went climbed the tower Pisa, tried.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
To take a deep breath because I knew it was
about to happen.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
Yeah, and then went and recorded for twelve hours.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
With those guys with with those guys, Like.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
You know, we've seen videos and there's viral moments of
Yay in the studio and just like the artistic genius
that he is, it can be a lot.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
What was that experience? Like, like, do you have one moment
where you were like were you scared? Were you happy?
Speaker 1 (19:36):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Because like we've seen these videos and you just you know,
you don't know what version of him you're going to get,
So like what was that experience? Like?
Speaker 8 (19:44):
So he actually left and he left and headed to Venice,
which some uh, there were some headline moments that happened
while well that was going on, okay, and in between
like on the boat and stuff.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Bianca times. Yeah, when she was like, buttnaked pretty much
yet I remember that.
Speaker 8 (19:58):
Yeah, and yeah pants then thees kind of thing.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 8 (20:02):
And while that was going on, we're sending videos back
and forth to him working on the record and getting
his input on it. Yeah, So that that was as
far as Jay was concerned. There was no there are
no viral moments going on like that, and Ty.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
Just seems like a very like chill down to earth person.
Speaker 8 (20:22):
Was a genius. A genius people have no idea. I mean,
I'm a giant fan. He's one of my favorite artists
and been to a couple of his shows, But I
didn't realize this guy is a musical genius like he
really is.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
There's no way Yay spends that much time if he
doesn't like deem this person to be like even you
getting the okay from him to be in the studio
whether you you know, made the album or not, Like
that's very clear that he respects your talent because he
just he doesn't. Ya doesn't give me like alwayste time vibes.
(20:55):
But then in the end, but then in the end
if he's like, it's not because I mean, think about it.
When he was doing those listening parties, like he was
still mixing down tracks like hours, like the show had
already started for three hours, and like he's he's crazy
the way his mine works.
Speaker 8 (21:09):
There was a song, a song called River and if
you go back to the Miami, they call it the
Miami Rave or whatever ties up there like making motions
like he's playing violin because my strings are on it.
And then and then the next time you hear it,
you're like, wait a second, it sounds like it sounds
like a bunch of trumpets.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 8 (21:30):
But at the end of the day, the records. I
love those records, so I can't really.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Hate on it.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
Yeah, and where do those live? Like in secret?

But we all on my phone.

You've kind of been a part of like working with
crazy names. Who would you say is your best your
best experienced celebrity wise, artist wise?

Who have you loved working with?

He did not see that come.

Yeah.

Yeah, by far the best performer I've ever worked with,
and I've worked with a lot of people.

Would be MGK, but as far as people that are
still currently around, MGK was nuts. His energy blows everybody
out of the water.

he wants smoke right now with Connor, like he doesn't
seem like he he'll say.

Anything want the The first time I played with him,
he'd broken up with his girlfriend.

that day, and I was like, is he about to
