Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh hi everybody happy friday cheers to the long weekend
it's labor day weekend i was driving home yesterday 93
bumper to bumper and i'm so mad i'm like where
are these people going the cape yep yeah they're actually
like yep just headed to the cape this will probably
be one of those most popular weekends down the.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Cape oh hell yeah labor day weekend everybody's.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Off on on monday but i i also eerily felt
like it it seemed dead on the roads this morning
are people taking off today too Oh, maybe that's why.
Just to like, they already have Monday as a free day.
Because when I walked into Starbucks, I was like, this
is ghost town. There's nobody there. Wow.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Battle of Starbies and Dunks in our studio today.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
You went to both?
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
What the hell? So you said Starbucks, and I was like, oh,
she must mean Dunkin', because she went to... So you
went to both?
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I got my donuts from Dunk's, and then I got
my coffee from Starbucks.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
So you just at, like, 4.30 a.m. are just jet-setting
around the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
And when I pulled up to Starbucks, I, like, hid
the Dunkin' munchkin. I don't want to offend anybody.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
You realize the people that work there don't care.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
They don't care.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
I know they don't, but it's.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Like they wouldn't serve you.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
It's like when you go into a McDonald's or something
because you have to pee, you have to buy something.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
You do.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
I felt that, although I was buying something anyway. I
just didn't want them to know. That's the ultimate.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
That's cheating.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
I feel like if you work for Dunkin', you have
to hate.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Starbucks, right?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
You have to. You work for Starbs, you.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Have to hate Dunk's.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I mean, I guess. I did hear about, maybe you
told me, a McDonald's and a Burger King that there
was a legit rivalry. Yeah, which like- So maybe, maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
I love a good rivalry. If I worked at either one,
I would absolutely talk bad about the other one.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
There's no question.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I would love to work at one and have a
friend work at the other and then just make it
an issue.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I won't say, but in my personal opinion, one has
the elite- one thing and the other one has the
elite other thing.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Well now you've got to give that opinion you can't.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
No i can't well yeah you know what neither one
of them sponsor us which.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
They should you're gonna say dunks has the the good
donuts has better pastries okay so no oh okay they
do and starbies has is better on the coffee side
of things.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
That's your opinion Oh, okay. No, but it's just, I mean,
what a rivalry. I also think, like, Starbucks has good merch,
but Dunk's merch is elite. Dunk's?
Speaker 2 (02:29):
No, the marketing? Dunk's social.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Slam Dunk.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Through the roof.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Slam Dunk.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Starbucks can't touch it.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I mean, it's not even in the same realm. Dunk's
is about to start doing their spider donut for Halloween.
And that thing says crazy things to people online. And
it's just my favorite time of the year.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
That's on the way. But yeah, I think they each have.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Do you ever remember a Starbucks commercial?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Wow. I thought there has to be a Christmas one.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
But no. Maybe.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Not that I can think of.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
And then you have the Dunk Kings commercial. The Dunkin's.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
And the suit.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I always remember a Dunkin's commercial. So marketing-wise, the game
isn't even close.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
No, that I will stand on. I just think in general,
you can go ahead and put me in my coffin
with a box of munchkins and a Starbucks coffee. It's fine.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
We can all be one when I'm dead.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, we can be together. Look at you bringing the
world together. I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
But literally before we started this, how many munchkins did
you have there?
Speaker 2 (03:26):
A couple.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I actually don't like to eat one munchkin at a time.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
I like to eat a chocolate and vanilla, like mush
them together and eat it like a sandwich.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
What?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Don't knock it.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
So you take two munchkins.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
AJ has seen this.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Mush them together and eat them like a sandwich.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
She does it every single time.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
So it's like a swirl.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Donut.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
You can't hate on it.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
You can't.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
You can hate.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
You've got to try it.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I think that's the thing is I have to try
it before I say anything, but that is.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's a lot, but it's so delicious.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's fat kid behavior.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah. I also, I hate doing this to everyone. I
once looked up how many munchkins is equivalent to a donut.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
We don't need to go there today. No, I don't
think so.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Oh no.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Cause from what I've seen from you already in the
six minutes you've been here, you've had four donuts. Circle ones.
Whole donuts. But hey, calories don't count on a Friday
and Labor Day weekend. Cheers, everybody.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
When you need to know, we got you. Three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip-hop
and the best throwbacks.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Jammin' 94.5. Friday, September 4th, and oh my God, the
fireworks in Plymouth. Day six of deliberation concluded, and it
was crazy. I'm standing in my kitchen. I just happen
to have my phone on the counter. I see like
a little alert that you know, something's going on in
the courtroom. The jury has a note and I'm like,
(04:54):
Oh my God, it's happening. So I put on the
live stream. So I actually watched all of this towards
the end of the day live. Um, But it was
really crazy. And it's so funny because we've been trying
to chat about it this morning. And I noticed I
follow a lot of criminal defense lawyers having had to
report on the Karen retrial and now this. And even
they were trying to explain what happened in the courtroom yesterday.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
And it was a lot.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
So for us, your average just, you know, jury of
your peers, it's a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
But essentially, guys, what happened was.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
The judge read a note from the jury yesterday and
basically felt like he had to then instruct them on
reasonable doubt after reading the note. So I am going
to start with, we're going to go slow here, but
we'll start with jury comes out, they hand a note
to the judge and they're like, hey, we still can't
figure this out.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
We still can't figure this out.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
But insinuated, it's because we have one.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Guy or a girl, one guy or one girl, who is.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Just refuses to listen to the law that the judge
has given him or her on reasonable doubt.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
The charge is proved beyond a reasonable doubt if, after
you've compared and considered all of the evidence, you have
in your minds an abiding conviction to a moral certainty
that the charge is true. When we refer to moral certainty,
we mean the highest degree of certainty possible in matters
relating to human affairs based solely on the evidence that
(06:22):
has been put before you In this case, I've told
you that every person is presumed to be innocent until
they are proved guilty and that the burden of proof
is on the prosecutor. If you evaluate all the evidence
and you still have a reasonable doubt remaining, the defendant
is entitled to the benefit of that doubt and must
be acquitted. It's not enough for the Commonwealth to establish
(06:43):
a probability, even a strong probability, that the defendant is
more likely to be guilty than not guilty. That is
not enough. Instead, the evidence must convince you of the
defendant's guilt to a reasonable and moral certainty, a certainty
that convinces your understanding and satisfies your reason and judgment
as jurors who are sworn to act conscientiously on the evidence.
(07:07):
This is what we mean by proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
So I hear that and I'm like, all right, this
one person is like... Looking at the 11 and saying, oh,
I maybe see what you're saying, but I still think
she had intent.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
And they're like, well.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Wait a second. If you're saying maybe that's doubt.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Again, I could be wrong on that.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
But that's what it feels like.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
That's what it feels like when I heard the judge
say that. I'm like, OK, so what they're saying is, hey,
this person's. off because they're kind of insinuating they they
heard a little bit of reasonable doubt too but they're
but they're standing 10 toes.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Down and also great description by that judge I have
never understood that more yeah than I do right now
well and like yeah I he's.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah says you uh Kevin Reddington thought it was soft Oh, yeah.
And he actually used that exact verbiage. So this happens, guys. Oh,
they bring the jury out. The judge asks the jury
a question. Obviously, we're going to go ahead and assume
it's like, do you understand what reasonable doubt is? Can
you go back in there and get this done?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
And Kevin Reddington's like, excuse me, wait a second. We
got to get rid of this person. We need an
alternate or we're going to a mistrial.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Respectfully, that the soft instruction that you gave them saying
at the sidebar, can you listen to the law as
I instruct you, does not focus on the issue. The
question is not sufficient enough. It does not allow any
foundation for a motion to remove the juror who refuses
(08:35):
to accept your instructions on the law, unreasonable doubt. And
if we come back here in a half an hour
with a mistrial because of a juror that has just
spurned the instructions of this court, it's a shame. It's
a real shame. And that's why I object.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Well, he was he was denied the putting in an
alternate juror from what I've read and what I've seen
from people in and around Corman's like, that's it.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
You don't want to have to go to that. You really,
really don't. So the next 30.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Minutes goes by. They come back out. The judge sends
them home. It's a long weekend now. They're coming back
this morning. The jury will be back in the courtroom
at 9 a.m. From what we gather, there's going to
be some sort of question or inquiry by the judge
this morning because the note did identify the person.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Oh, no.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
So now I'm not sure if it'll be a specific
question for that person, what they will do.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
But the judge, Judge Sullivan was like, we're going to
come back in. 9 a.m. We know the personnel. There
will be an inquiry.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
And Kevin Reddington said Kevin Reddington said usually something like
this would take place at a sidebar.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
But he thinks it'll be an open court, meaning we're
going to get to see what's popping.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Is it possible that the judge could just like go
right down the line and be like, do you believe
there is any doubt?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
I'm not I don't think we're allowed to see that.
I think that has to be in the deliberations. but
like he essentially even if it's i don't even know
i don't know if he can because like i feel
like that's the thing if all of them go yeah
there's a little doubt then we're done yeah but i
i don't know i that's why i think it has
to happen in the deliberation room i which by the
way that place sounds terrible um but here's the crazy
(10:18):
part guys kevin reddington comes out even with the way
that back and forth happened it was very evident that
it is 11 to 1 and 11 to 1 leaning
towards the defense side meaning that 11 people in that
room are like hey we do not think she should
be held criminally responsible for taking the lives of her
three three kids because she was in a psychosis or
whatever you believe at the time and there's one person
(10:40):
that's like well wait a second so That being said,
Kevin Reddington leaves the courtroom, and this one might go
down as quite an iconic interview.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
He has this to say.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Is this one person versus all the rest of the jury?
Is it one person holding this up? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
You heard the question. It's basically that there's a person
who has doubt but will not listen to the judge's instruction.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Did they tell you that all the rest of the
jurors are going one way or the other? Did they
tell you that? They don't tell me anything. It's just
a note.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Kevin, do you want a new juror or do you.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Want a mistrial?
Speaker 4 (11:13):
I don't want to mistrial.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Why would I want to mistrial? So do you want
them to put a new juror in? Kick the shit
out of their case. I don't want to mistrial. I
don't want to miss trial.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
I kick the you know what out of their case.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I'm I'm good.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Now, listen, is there some sort of crazy land where
like it's 11 to one on something different because there's
other charts?
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
But it's not leaning that way.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
And you heard him say right there, there's one person
that just is like has doubt, but he's not listening
to the court instructions.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah. If there's doubt, we're done here.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Technically speaking, if there's doubt, we're done here. Yeah, that
that that is. But it seems like this guy is like,
I see that. But I still think she did it with.
And I don't I don't know. I don't know what's
going to happen. So anyways, 9 a.m., we're back in
the courtroom. The judge is going to ask this specific
juror a question, and I'm not sure if we're going
(12:07):
to be able to see it. You know, like I said,
Kevin Branson said he does not think it's going to
be the sidebar. It'll be an open court meeting. We'll
be able to watch. This is getting just crazier and crazier.
The pink people are, they're probably there right now. They
probably slept there. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
They want this guy's head on a pike. Like, they're
going to be so mad. But like we said before,
like we said off air is like, if I was
one of the 11, I hate this person right now.
But if I am the one, I'm like, no.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
This is what I believe.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Wait, guys, I actually sat through the exact same 300
plus pieces of evidence that you did.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
This is what I got.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
This is how I feel. This is what I came
up with. But the other 11 are like, I want
to go have a burger. Like it is Labor Day weekend.
I need to go to chat him.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
What are we doing? So we shall see.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
We'll gear up another day. Nine a.m. And I remember
the jury is made up of nine women and three men.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
I you and I both agree. We think it's a dude.
We think that's in there like it's.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Only a dude would sit in a room full of
people and be like, arms folded.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
No. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
It's giving guy energy to me, but I think one
day we will see. All right. Night one in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
A homecoming for Ye after five long years. I mean,
(13:37):
coming out to Homecoming in his hometown, a.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Song that he wrote about Chicago. What a moment in time.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
Fun fact.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
I when I landed in Chicago on Saturday, that was
the first song I played.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
And I was like, when was this concert last night? Oh, OK.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
You just missed it. I need another one tonight.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
I was going to be mad if it was like
last weekend or something. And I was like, no, I would.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Have informed you a couple of big things to know.
He wore a new mask. He's been wearing the same
mask at it's. Essentially horrifying. It actually reminds me of
like a mask a murderer would wear in The Hills
Have Eyes. And then when they take the said mask off,
they just have like the most deformed face you've ever
seen because they're like.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
What in the... It's not good. I really, I really miss...
The college dropout.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
It also looks so much.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Think about putting a mask over your face where there's
nothing like no hole, no holes. And someone took a
pen and gave you like two slots for the eye.
It's not good, guys.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
But anyways, he wears his Hills Have Eyes mask. He's
out there. He's looking good.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
And honestly, he's bringing us back. He started to do
some of his major hits from 04 brought out. Yeah. Twista.
Speaker 7 (14:43):
The entire stadium word for word going crazy just big
sean was there future i i can't even imagine what's
in store for tonight because that was night one night
(15:03):
two is tonight.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
In chicago um and lastly diddy getting out of prison
A little earlier than we expected.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
I do this once.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Doesn't it feel like every two weeks? I'm telling you
either the date got pushed or brought up. This man
is in that library behaving because.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
It's usually up.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
His new official release date, February 5th, 2028. It was
supposed to be after Valentine's Day because I remember thinking
like he could have a freak off because it's to celebrate.
Now he really can. Now he has time to plan.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Is he dropping an album? Do you think he's in
there writing an album and he's going to drop an
album almost immediately?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
About what? Anything. Yeah, there's a lot going on.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
He's going to do anything to make money off of it.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
How much he misses his baby oil. He's serving a
50-month sentence. And remember, it shifted so many times. We've
had shift dates in his departure from jail from January
to June of 2028. But as of right now, we're
sitting comfy at Feb 5, 2028.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
That's not bad. That is not.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
If you're Cassie, you're like, are we OK?
Speaker 3 (16:08):
That is not, you know, like, like, I mean, that's
a listen. I don't know if it works like this
in jail, but in life, once the holidays hit, boom, bang,
year's over.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
I don't know if jail hits the same, but in
regular life, as soon as Halloween comes, you blink and
it's happy New Year. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
So it's we'll see. But either way, there you have it.
Feb 5, 2028. Diddy could be out in the streets.
That is three things. You need to know for Friday,
September 4th, make sure you catch up on the pod.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
We've talked about just a magnitude of things. A lot
going on this week. So down the free iHeartRadio app
and search A-S-H-L-E.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Good morning. BMO's gearing up for this one.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Gearing up.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
He's like, let me get a munchkin so I can
prepare myself for this conversation.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Why would I now grab a munchkin? What a fat kid.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Thing to do.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
Yeah, that actually is. We have to talk.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Hold on. And then everyone listening is going to be like, well, damn,
I would like one of those too.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
You should go get.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
One. So I have made the claim, and I think
most people in my life and my friends can support
said claim that I just can't like do anything normal.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Nothing is normal for me.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Like I, I just go to do, I just went
to go to the printer for five seconds, got caught
in a tornado of a conversation.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Like I just can't, I can't.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Um, a few weeks ago, one of my, one of
my gals, like my gals asked me to model for her,
for a jacket from her boutique. Um, So we have
been talking about this thing for weeks and we were
so excited and jacket is ready.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
And can you, please, I'm going to move over. Jacket
is ready and.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
It's go time. So we're going to, we're going to
model the jacket at a farm with horses. You can
see the photos because I have officially posted them. The
horses are beautiful, by the way. Not me. The horse
is stunning. At Ashley Feldman, two E's on the Ashley,
because I think you need to be looking at the
photo while I tell this story.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
And also the tractor.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Me on the tractor trailer. Are we OK? Come on.
So get to the farm.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
We start like doing the photo shoot and back. BMO
and I have both agreed it could quite literally have
been a scene out of like Schitt's Creek.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
One thousand. It is.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
It is.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
So I am.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
This is a little bit of Lexus all over.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
I am like modeling the jacket and all of a sudden.
When I tell you the sound that I heard was
like some I've never heard of. This is weeks ago,
by the way. And I waited to tell the story
because I wanted to make sure like everybody was alive.
So the.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Which is not an exaggeration. No.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
They were in the midst of building an indoor barn
for the wintertime and it collapses.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Mid photo shoot.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Like, my friends were like, bitch, we don't sage, but
you need to bathe in it. Like, you need to
sage yourself because this is crazy.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
I mean, fire trucks, ambos, cops in a matter of seconds.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
And you're on a tractor.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
And I'm on a tractor trailer, like.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Posing doing pout faces in a denim jacket.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Posing in a denim jacket and essentially a nightgown yeah
do you guys like this.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
One can you quiet down I can't.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Focus people's lives are at stake okay and I'm just
out here like what do you think about this angle
did this make me look fat um craziest scene so
obviously done like the photo shoot is over thank god
again I didn't speak on it when it happened or
tell you guys the story and I tell you guys
everything because I was like I need to make sure
everybody's okay it was on the news dude it was
on the news yeah it was all over the news
(19:52):
it was and some of the shots they would show
i'd be like oh there's my car um but everybody
is good um everybody is great everybody is healthy it
was just like a crazy rare accident that happened and
and oh my god but it is just so like
I can't even as much as put on a denim
(20:13):
jacket and get on a tractor trailer and something crazy
doesn't happen like to.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
The fact that they were like lifting debris off of
people while you are just like leaning on a horse.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yeah I was like um are you okay what if
we did a shot where the debris is behind me
and a horse comes like I would it was just
like what is going on you know um but no
it's it was the craziest sound I'd ever heard. And again,
I came in the next day and I was like,
you guys, I don't, you're not, you're just not going
(20:45):
to believe it. I get home and my husband was like,
It's actually annoying at this point. It's like genuinely just
go take the effing pictures and come home. It doesn't
have to always be this.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
It just can't.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
It can't.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
It just can't. The craziest part for me was you
told us this story. I was dying. And then once
it hit the news and was literally on the TV
in the studio.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
While we were live.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Of the bar, and I was like, oh, you're not kidding.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I come in, you guys. I tell the story. We start, like,
doing the news. I get through, like, Lindsay Clancy, and
I look up, and BMO's just pointing at the TV.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Staring.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
And, like, pointing at TV, and I'm like, because the
TV's always on, you know, literally to my left, so
we can always kind of see if there's breaking news,
and I look up and just... No, it's just the barn.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
I can't see these pictures without knowing.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Anybody in my life that knows about it looks at
the pictures and they're just like, only you, man.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
I'm like, I know. The pictures came out.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Great though maybe i should frame them and send them
to the guys that you know but they don't.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Know what you're doing.
Speaker 8 (21:50):
Everybody's okay glad you're all okay here's the game yeah
but we said it was a schitt's creek episode because
alexis would be like really i'm trying to take my
photos you know it's just so it's so.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Mean and like it's also the setting this the fact
that it's at like this barn.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Guys, before it wasn't, it was so beautiful. Like it
was just the most beautiful. The horses, they were so
nice to me. And I was taking my pictures and
I was on a tractor trailer. And I mean, it's crazy.
The only thing scarier than... the barn collapsing was that
I didn't spray tan for it. And I was, I'm pretty,
(22:27):
I'm almost the same complexion as the dress, but at
Ashley Feldman to ease on the Ashley and don't comment
anything crazy on the picture.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
It's my friends.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
And the jamming morning show when you need to know.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
All right, guys, Friday, September 4th.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
We're going to go to Plymouth first because my God,
we have a lot to work through. Speaking of God,
a woman just sent me a quick photo. She's on
her way to work right now. She's like, Ashley, this
is every morning. It is 709. They are not expected
into court until 9 a.m. And there is a pink
people prayer circle happening. Outside of court. It's a lot, guys.
(23:07):
And after yesterday, fireworks in the courtroom, day six of deliberations,
and Judge Willie Sullivan gets a note from the jury.
And the jury's like, listen, we are stressed out. We
yet still cannot come to a conclusion here. We don't
have a consensus because there is one person.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Who is saying, essentially, yeah, I see what you're saying
with the doubt. Like, I see what you guys are saying,
all 11 of you, but.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
And we don't know what the.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
But is, but he.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Is, I'm saying he might not be a he, could
be a she, 10 toes down on this. So they
get the note. The judge then says, okay, let me
reiterate what reasonable doubt is.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
The charge is proved beyond a reasonable doubt if, after
you've compared and considered all of the evidence, you have
in your minds an abiding conviction to a moral certainty
that the charge is true. When we refer to moral certainty,
we mean the highest degree of certainty possible in matters
relating to human affairs based solely on the evidence that
(24:09):
has been put before you In this case, I've told
you that every person is presumed to be innocent until
they are proved guilty and that the burden of proof
is on the prosecutor. If you evaluate all the evidence
and you still have a reasonable doubt remaining, the defendant
is entitled to the benefit of that doubt and must
be acquitted. It's not enough for the Commonwealth to establish
(24:30):
a probability, even a strong probability. that the defendant is
more likely to be guilty than not guilty. That is
not enough. Instead, the evidence must convince you of the
defendant's guilt to a reasonable and moral certainty, a certainty
that convinces your understanding and satisfies your reason and judgment
as jurors. who are sworn to act conscientiously on the evidence.
(24:54):
This is what we mean by proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
He's really trying to give it a go because he
doesn't want to bring in an alternate. So he asks
each individual juror a question, essentially probably asking, like, do
we feel good with this?
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Do you understand the definition? Can we make this happen?
Speaker 1 (25:10):
They all say, yeah, even even the one which we
now know they know specifically who that one is. And
then obviously it's this weird that happens and everyone's kind
of like, well, wait a second, 11 to one. We're
all kind of all in agreement that it's leaning towards
the defense that the 11 are saying we think she's
(25:31):
not guilty by reason of insanity and the ones like, well,
I kind of see what you're saying. But it's like, well,
if you see what we're saying, that's doubt, buddy.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
That is doubt.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
So Kevin Reddington hops up there and he's like, hey, listen,
I don't want a mistrial.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
You're being a little soft.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I don't want a mistrial.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Let's put it in an alternate.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Respectfully, that the soft instruction that you gave them saying
at the sidebar, can you listen to the law as
I instruct you, does not focus on the issue. It
is the question is not sufficient enough. It does not
allow any foundation for a motion to remove the juror
(26:10):
who refuses to accept your instructions on the law on
reasonable doubt. And if we come back here in a
half an hour with a mistrial because of a juror
that has just spurned the instructions of this court, it's
a shame. It's a real shame. And that's why I object.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Well, his objection was then denied.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Obviously, we're going to keep the same jury and we're
going to see what happens this morning. You know, as
this was happening, I was thinking to myself, you know
how on this show I have said, well, I do
think the health care system failed her.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
But I also think she killed her children. Like, that's
reasonable doubt, right? Like, I guess.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
But like, that's more an opinion than it is. Because
if you said that, you would be like, not guilty
because I can't.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Right.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I can't say that she.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Let me make it very clear. I think Lindsay Clancy
took the lives of her children.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
There's no doubt.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
This is not a whodunit.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
That's why I don't love guilty or not guilty.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
I know.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Because it's like, you did do it.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
She did, yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
But it's a matter of, like, were you aware?
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, because essentially 11 of these people are saying she
is not guilty by reason of insanity.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
It's like, no, but.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
She is guilty.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Guilty.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
And I guess it's more so... Isn't it like the
prosecution didn't prove that she was fully like mentally present? Exactly.
So even if maybe she was, but they weren't able
to prove that she definitely was.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Solid point.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
And I think for somebody driving in the car that's like, Ash,
what the hell is going on? The Commonwealth's job was
to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that when Lindsay Clancy
took the lives of her children, because we know she did.
she was of sound mind. She knew exactly what she
was doing. She was like, you first, you second, you third.
She knew what she was doing.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
So if you're on that jury and you have even
the slightest bit of doubt of being like, I don't
know if she was of sound mind.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
That means you can't.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
That's doubt.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
That's what he that's what the judge is saying.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
So you just wonder so much.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
So what the conversations are in there with that one
person like what's holding. Well, anyways, we might actually learn
a little bit more this morning because that juror, like
I said, has been identified by the note from the foreperson.
The inquiry is going to happen at 9 a.m. Now,
Kev Reddington said he wanted it to happen in a sidebar,
but it looks like it may happen in open court. He,
by the way, left court yesterday.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Iconic.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Is this one person versus all the rest of the jury?
Is it one person holding this up? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
You heard the question. It's basically that there's a person
who has doubt but will not listen to the judge's instruction.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Did they tell you that all the rest of the
jurors are going one way or the other? Did they
tell you that? They don't tell me anything. It's just
a note.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Kevin, do you want a new juror or do you
want a mistrial?
Speaker 2 (28:52):
I don't want a mistrial.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Why would I want a mistrial?
Speaker 2 (28:54):
So do you want them to put a new juror in?
Kick the shit out of their case. I don't want
a mistrial.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
I kicked the you-know-what out of their case. I don't
want a mistrial, so there you have it. 9 a.m.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
This morning, we will start out in court with.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
The question that the judge has for that one specific juror,
and we will go from there.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
What are you still thinking? Mistrial, or do you think
they'll come back with a verdict?
Speaker 2 (29:17):
I think they'll come back. I think eventually this guy is.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Going to have to be like— I think somebody in
there is like, listen, the Cape traffic is swelling and
I mean, it's Labor Day weekend and I'm not, I'm
not doing this. Jury is made up of nine women
and three men. We will see. All right. It was
a homecoming for yay in Chicago yesterday. The sleuths were
sleuthing that kid cuddy was going to make an appearance
(29:39):
no kid cuddy but wow did yay put on a
show in chicago he walked out.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
To homecoming after five years So, He.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Also debuted a new mask. Pretty horrifying stuff. He's celebrating
Halloween a lot earlier than the rest of us. It
looks like something from The Hills Have Eyes. It's like
a mask where someone took a pen and poked out
two eyes and a hole for the mouth. It is
very scary.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
It's giving the purge.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
It's like, hey, we want to see you, bud.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
You know like we came here for that we didn't
come here for like because for all they know it
could just be a recording and some.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Other dude yeah or just he's not even doing.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
He's backstage chilling in a lounge chair just wrapping into
a microphone while someone else is.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
In the mask yeah the only thing you can say
is like the way like his body movements but you
could teach somebody that yeah hey i sure did hey
listen yeah all right no kid cutting but a lot
of performances last night big sean made an appearance future
(31:10):
I'm like a big future guy myself, you know. This
was the one for me. Like, Ye said, hold up.
I'm going to take it back to 2004. There's a
little twist there. Uh-huh.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
I think the fact that he can still do it
is like crazy.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
That was like a song of my childhood. I loved
it so, so, so, so much.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
And I have heard that during his tour that he's
doing right now, he does take it back for people.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Have to.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
You really do.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Because I wouldn't be at that show if he didn't.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
I know.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
I feel the same way.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
I wouldn't be there. If I didn't get college dropout,
late registration, if I wasn't getting those, I'm not coming.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
That was night one.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Tonight is night two. The rumors online are circulating that
the guests are going to level up. So I can't
wait to see what Ye has in store for everybody.
All right. And lastly, Drake is also gifting us a
live stream is on the way. It's titled FOMO, Fear
of Missing Out. It is scheduled to air on the
15th of September. So we got a little bit of time.
(32:22):
9 p.m. This is what he does. He says he's
going to go on live. You know, the broadcast is unclear.
The announcement has already caused like crazy speculation. People believe
the live stream could feature new music, a visual project,
all fueled by some cryptic social media posts. He's like.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Taylor Swift-ish with this stuff.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
That's a good call. That's a good call.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Yeah. He's like, I gave you an Easter egg in
a photo from the mystery. And it's just like, come on, baby.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Anyways, I'm excited. I love Drake.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
I love when he puts out new music, but I
also am excited at the thought of a new album already,
which would be nuts. He just dropped three. Yeah, we'll
take it. That's a Tuesday night, by the way.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
How dare he? Mama's got to sleep.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
All right.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
There's three things, you know, for Friday, September the 4th.
The check-in is now. Oh, we haven't even had anybody
on the show. I'm sure somebody's going to come on
the show and be upset that I burned a barn down.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
But I mean, you didn't burn a barn down, but
I think your presence did something.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
My friends don't even know what sage is.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Roll around in it.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Figure it out. All right. We're doing the check in next.
What are you doing? How are you doing? What's going on?
We're talking about anything, whatever you got. You want to
tell us a story. You have like a Labor Day
weekend thing going on. Anything.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
You got 877-617-1945.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
877-617-1945. Call us or leave a talk back.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
It is The Check-In, only on Jammin'. Good morning.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (33:44):
Boston's number one for hip-hop.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Jammin' 94.5. Hi, everybody.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Good morning. It is Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show. BMO,
we are doing The Check-In. So we're checking in on
your life, your world, what you got going on, how
are you. We call this Dancing with the Devil. I'm
going to do this because... It's Friday.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
It's Labor Day.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (34:05):
Katie wants to check in real quick with us.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Katie, if you could only tell me what's going on
in your life and what you want to call about
in one sentence, just one, what would you say?
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Mental health is better. Seeing what's going on with Lindsay Clancy.
I have my shirt on and invested in the case.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
And I don't think that we should do a can
read all over again because this woman would go back
to an asylum, which is preferably like jail.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
That was a run on, but we'll take it. Thank
you so much for the call. And she's clothed.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
So many things we learned there.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (34:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
I also have a shirt on for what it's worth.
So do I. So everyone knows.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
All right.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
877-617-1945. 877-617-1945. Please call us because we are talking about you,
your life, your world, anything you want.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
BMO's still eating. He's up to... Guys, he has had
a dozen dogs.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
I've had this whole bag.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
At this point.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
This whole bag is in my belly.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
We got to talk back.
Speaker 9 (35:07):
Good Friday morning. So I do three maintenance for our company.
So every time I'm in the truck, I always put
the GM in 94.5 on the number one key set.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Respect.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
And.
Speaker 9 (35:18):
Yesterday, a bunch of old-timers were asking me about why
it's always on number one. So I was telling you
about Ashley, and they asked me to describe you.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Uh-oh.
Speaker 9 (35:26):
And I was like, if you remember this yesterday, you
saying that you, uh.
You had a restraining order against some guy, so I
called you restraining order hot.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Oh my God.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
I didn't know where that was going to go.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
But wow.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
I feel like now I have to.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Take that to the bank. That needs to be in
the bio.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
The next time the fireman pisses me off, I'm going
to be like, I'm restraining order hot.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Babe, don't forget what you're dealing with.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
I didn't say that. No, now I feel like it's weird.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
I have to tell this story.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
There was a guy, you guys, that was showing up
to the station often and bringing me like trinkets. Like
speaking of the hills have eyes, like dolls without heads,
like trinkets, like weird stuff. So in typical Santi fashion,
he goes out there, he gets the guy's name, he
comes in, he pays to do like a background check.
And turns out the guy had had multiple restraining orders
(36:17):
against him for stalking. And one of which was he
showed up at the girl's house with a knife in
his hand. So it was at that.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Point where I'm like, OK, I have kids like this
is weird. He started doing it a couple more times.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
All of a sudden he got my phone number and
he was leaving me voicemail saying he was going to
come bring me to lunch. Restraining order, honey. I cannot
play these games with little babies in my home.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
We're not doing this.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
So that was my first time doing that. And it
was so nerve wracking. Like you have to go in
front of the court. There's other people in there and
he can come in and fight it.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
That's wild.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
The fireman went with me, but he no-showed. Thank God.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
So it was easy.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
I was like, yeah, I'm fearful. Like he has multiple
restraining orders and he's showing outside like Michael Myers. I'm good.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
But hey, Restraining Order Hot is... Restraining Order Hot, though.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
I'll take that to the bank. Especially on Labor Day.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
We're talking about you, your life, your world, anything you want.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Call us.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
It's the check-in only on Jammin'. Restraining Order Hot. I'm
just trying to remind myself of that. Every time I
wake up in the morning and I look like a crackhead,
I'm going to be like, come on, honey.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
This baby is restraining.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
All right.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Listen, we're doing the check in. So we're talking about anything.
It's on your mind.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
You call me. We'll chat about it. It could be
things we've talked about thus far. It could be a
story in your life. You have a question concern. Eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five.
That is eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five.
Alicia is in Quincy. I'm already like giggling at this question, Alicia,
because the depths I went on.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Okay, go ahead. Ask, ask the question.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
I was just shocked as a Disney queen why you
haven't posted anything about the Disney-Base collab. I know.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
So, Baze Luggage came out with a Disney collaboration.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
This is going to be... Follow along here, guys. By
the way, if you're looking for luggage.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Is this a Disney adult thing?
Speaker 1 (38:10):
No.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
Baze, B-E-I-S.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Like... they have some of the best luggage you can buy.
I love buying their bags. My, my work bag is
a Bayes bag. So Bayes did a collection with Disney
and trust me, Alicia, I was all over it, but
I really, I'm actually, I'm.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Actually proud of myself for once.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
I thought to myself, $ 400 for a suitcase with Mickey
Mouse on it. Do I want to bring that when
I'm going to like Hawaii in November? No, because it
has Mickey Mouse on it, right? Like I would only
specifically bring that on my, it would be perfect for
my Disney trips, but 400 bones.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Like I just couldn't justify it.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
No, I couldn't. You couldn't justify any of the other bags?
I know.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
There were some cute ones. Did you get something? Is
that what you're throwing in my face?
Speaker 2 (38:54):
No, no.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
I was like, I can't sleep at night knowing you
got something and I didn't.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
You know what?
Speaker 4 (38:59):
No.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I had just bought a ton of bags from Bagu
for Disney. So I'm bagged out for now. But I'm
telling you, I had it in my car. All my
friends were like, do not be crazy. You're not bringing
Mickey Mouse to Hawaii. Like to Maui, bitch.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Be an adult. Be an adult.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
But yeah, the big vase, like Mickey bag was $ 400.
And I was like, I can't.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
That's a lot.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
But you know what?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
As a Disney.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
I just see you with the little mini bow bag.
Speaker 5 (39:25):
I just feel like that's all you.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
I know. But that's park specific.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
Like, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
I am... I'm a word Disney gal. Like, if I'm
going to Disney, you bet your ass I'm getting a
new bag. It's Disney-related.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Oh, boy.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
But if my everyday bag is not... But I wear
like merch.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
But Alicia, I'm glad you called me out because it's fitting.
I should be called out.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
I should be.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
By the way, how are you? What's up with you?
Can I call you out for something?
Speaker 2 (39:50):
I'm good. Back with your ex? No, I'm perfect.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
She goes, no, I'm perfect.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
What can I say?
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Bye, Alicia.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
Hilarious.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Yeah, no, the depths of my Disney obsession go deep
as I speak it out loud.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
But don't you think that's weird for like to buy it?
Speaker 2 (40:11):
That's insane.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
And I'm bringing it on every.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
I wouldn't get it to go to Disney.
Speaker 1 (40:15):
Actually, you're the wrong person to ask about this. But
just in general, I really debate it because I want
the big, huge Bays travel bag. And I'm like 400 bones.
And then Mickey's on it like in Maui. I don't
need it.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
So I didn't do it. um that's a first aj
is that not a first like i usually any collab
if they're taking my money oh always but you did
spend how much money at zara the other day for
that's not we're not okay okay so i see yeah
i see what this is how many boyfriends.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Do you have oh wow she's right.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Though she's 100 right by the way do you have
any thing on the horizon we haven't spoken about you
in like Three days. Oh, my dating life?
Speaker 4 (40:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Okay, so the joke hits.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
The joke still hits.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
I was like, maybe she has a date.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
We're talking about.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
You, your life, your world, anything you want.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Call us at the check-in only on Jammin'. Hi, guys.
Good morning. It is Ashley in the Jammin' Morning Show.
BMO is joining me, and it is a big, big.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Night for us.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
Sorry, I'm wearing a Bruins jersey, and I didn't realize
there was a strap in the back that just jabbed
me clean in the back.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
You're wearing a nice little hockey jersey right now.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
I know the Bruins themselves gave it to me.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
You're in a Bruins.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
Oh, sorry. Did I flex?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Yeah, that was. The Bruins themselves gave it to me.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Yeah, it's got my name on it.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
It actually does.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
By the way, that's called a sweater. Whatever.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Just saying.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
I'm black. We don't play hockey.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
I got a sweater one time, and I was taught
that very quickly, that it's called a hockey sweater.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
But it's weird. You're wearing Bruins, and I'm wearing Patriots.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
It's like, we get it.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
Enough.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
I said to AJ, I said, if you're wearing Celtics,
I'm going to slap myself. She goes, I actually have
a Patriots t-shirt on under my sweatshirt. I'm like, why
are we this way?
Speaker 3 (42:03):
Anyways, back to the point. Big night for us tonight.
Silo finale.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
Yes. We have talked to you guys in length about
this show. I love hearing what everybody's watching. People always DM.
What do you, they'll ask me, what are you watching?
I need a new show. Silo on Apple is one
of our favorites of all time. The critical thinking you
have to have to watch that show. And I love
coming up with like my theory versus fan theories. And
the finale is out and I'm desperate. Like I want
(42:29):
to just.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Go home and do it.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Oh wait, it's out right now? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Today.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
Cause I thought there was a time where it came
out later in the day.
Speaker 1 (42:35):
No. Came out at midnight, which means the silo obsessed
have already watched it 12 times and are like figuring
it all out.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
I hate that. I hate that other people know it.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
You almost have to stay off social because you'll see something.
But if you're thinking like the premise of this show
is help me.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
Out if I.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
Yeah. The world.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Let's just say there's.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
A potential for the world to come to the end,
and you get an option of going inside of a
silo to survive, but you can never go back outside again,
and you would have to survive inside for the remainder
of your days. Yeah. Would you say, all right, world,
bring it. I'm going to risk it for the biscuit outside,
or are you going.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
In a silo? I'm taking the end of the world.
Speaker 4 (43:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
I'm taking the end of the world, because here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
You have to.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Delete what you know about the silos, though.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Pretend they seem like a great place.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
I'm not even considering what has happened and what I've seen.
If you're telling me, so we live this way, and
then I have to go live underground. I've lived this
way too long already. So then that's going to feel
like torture to suddenly be like, you can never see sunlight.
You're in a underground silo that's all concrete and whatever.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
But you can live.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Okay, but what is life? At that point. What is
my quality of life? No, it's not good.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
But I think about, like, you have little kids.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
Right?
Speaker 3 (43:58):
No, I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
Right?
Speaker 3 (44:00):
That's why this show.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Because now I'm like, well, wait a second. Do I
want them to go in the silo and have some
sort of semblance of an inside weird life where they
have to eat, like, airplane food? Or do I want
them to... be out and see if they survive a
nuclear bomb. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
They're young enough that they would be silo people. So
they would, they would get used to the silo.
Speaker 4 (44:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
But I have to go in with, yeah, but I,
trust me, I'm on your side. If I could pick
without the kids, I'm out of here.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
I'm out of here. I am risking it and I
will deal with the.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
Zombies, the air, whatever hell else is coming our way.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
But that's kind of the premise of the show. I
don't know if I'm doing it justice, but you, it's a,
it's a must see. This is the season three finale.
They've already filmed season four, which is what brings me
so excitement. So that thing is packaged up, boom, bang,
ready to go.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Are they going to drop it sooner?
Speaker 1 (44:50):
I think so. I don't think we're going to have
to wait a whole year for it, which is the positive.
I bet you we'll get it in like six months
or so.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
I miss the days. I hate that my... I just
said that because I feel 60. I miss the days.
I miss the days of when TV shows just turned
over and there were like 20-something episodes.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
Not like that anymore.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
And you were just locked in. Now it's like you
get 10 episodes in a week and then... Five years later,
you get season two.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
I go through like legit months ruts of like, there's
nothing I want to watch.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
Like I can't find anything.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
I also am very specific with the shows that I
like to watch.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
And does it feel like to you that it's always
that like six shows you really have been either waiting
for or coming up that you're dying to see all
drop within the same like.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
Two week period?
Speaker 1 (45:39):
It's a lot of action and then it's nothing. And
then nothing.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Like, can we just spread this out some?
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Give us a little something. You know what I've also heard?
Speaker 1 (45:46):
A lot of people are talking about this doc that
came out on Netflix called The Preacher's Wife or something.
I'm seeing that get a lot of feedback.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
I bet that's what Sarah was watching.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
I can't give my time to that right now with
everything going on in Plymouth. It's like one thing at
a time for me with that type of stuff.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
I can't. But yeah, silo finale out tonight. I am
so anxious. And if you're looking for a good show,
you must.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Apple TV in general, just.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Pay for the subscription.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
You will not be disappointed. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
They are cooking.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
Silo, severance, shrinking. Silo, severance, all that. And Cape Fear. Well,
you'll be pissed at the end, but yes, Cape Fear.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
It's still worth the ride.
Speaker 3 (46:21):
It absolutely is.
Speaker 1 (46:22):
877-617-1945. 877-617-1945. We're talking about anything you want, unless you've
seen the Silo finale.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Don't call us about that.
