Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, everybody. Good morning. It's Ashley in the Gym. Morning show.
It's Thursday. I could call BMO right now in his cell.
He's standing in the lobby out front trying to get in.
He said, at least I got into the front door.
Him getting in this building has been... They really got
this thing on Fort Knox. I shouldn't even say that
(00:21):
because now someone's going to be like, well, no, I'll
show you how. It's not really Fort Knox. We've had
an evolution of.
Men that have worked in this building as security. May
we never forget the one time. It sounds you'd be
so happy to have this conversation, but maybe we can't
forget the one security officer we had who would be.
(00:41):
sleeping in his vehicle. And AJ can, can, can attest
to this every single morning when we came in and
it was in and around the time where I had
to get a legit restraining order against a listener because
he was like trying to show up at my house.
He had many other restraining orders out on him for
stalking one woman. He showed up in front of her
house with a knife. So I went straight to the courtroom.
(01:04):
I got myself a restraining order, sir. What if this
man shows up and you're snoozing in your vehicle? He
was sleepy. He was so sleepy at 445 to 530,
the exact time when I needed him not to be sleepy.
Then fast forward, we had... um a guy who was
(01:25):
good he was really good he was actually like at
the desk so that was sick then we had a
wanderer a guy who like was never at the front
desk and then you'd randomly see him like in the
parking garage i don't know if he was like doing
his laps of his perimeter i don't know what was
going on the newest guy we have now great guy
he actually asked me yesterday for my cell and said
(01:46):
why don't you Let me know when you have guests.
That way I don't like accost people when they say
I want to go up to jam and because we
had somebody come to drop us something off and they
wouldn't let her up. Yeah, he's taking safety very serious.
Let's take safety serious. I'm down with it. Get down. Like,
let's take it serious. Sleeping in your view. That guy,
he wasn't around too long. He lost his job. Well, yeah,
(02:08):
because he got caught. Yeah, he got caught being asleep.
So anyways, BMO got all the way up to the
front of the lobby. I don't know who let him in,
but he's just waiting for us out front. So you're
not going to hear him right now, but you will
hear him in just a little bit in the news.
And thank God for that, because I don't know if
he knows about Dawn Light. And we have to fill
(02:28):
him in on who Dawn Light is and how she
contributed to the Lindsay Clancy case. She's a pink person.
I don't think anyone's gonna be shocked at that. Myself, BMO, back.
I hope.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
We hope he's somewhere out there. We'll go grab him.
We'll do three things he needs to know next.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Good morning. Ashley and the Jammin' Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
When you need to know, we got you. Three things
you need to know. On Boston's number one for hip hop.
And the best throwbacks. Jammin' 94.5.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
There is no reason to suppose that the case will
ever be submitted to 12 persons more intelligent, more impartial. Guys,
it's not looking good.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Thursday, September 3rd, day five of deliberations have concluded. No verdict,
no questions, no evidence requests. Just another note, multiple notes
from the jury being like, we are at a standstill.
And that's Judge William Sullivan essentially saying to them, We're
not we don't want to go for round two of this.
If you can't figure it out, another jury.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Is not going to be able to figure out.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
You have to go back in there. He issued specific instructions.
Here's the thing about this state. There are multiple steps
in which a judge can say.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Get back in there.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
You got to go back in there and you have
to decide. But it's also a weird thing for us
as outsiders seeing that, you know, the Tui Rodriguez charge
in the state is like, get back in there and
figure it out. But if they haven't figured out, is
someone just going to come in after overnight and.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Be like, you know what?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I know for the last five days I said you
weren't right, but maybe you are now.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
So here's the thing. That's what I was thinking quite
literally and wanted to ask you. Because you're kind of
the same way. I'm so stubborn. For sure. That the minute, no,
my mind's made. And there is not a chance everyone
could think the other thing. And I'm like, there's nothing.
I saw it. I saw everything. I have decided that.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Let's call her Madison.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Sorry, Madison.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
I'm not I'm not with it. I'm not. I'm not.
And what am I going to go home and lay
on my pillow with my husband? And all of a
sudden he's going to tell me to be on Madison's side.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
No.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
And besides, I'm not supposed to be talking.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
About it to anybody.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
So what? It's just very strange to me this. But
that's you know, there's other things that they can enact
to get the jury back in there. But every single
time the foreman comes out, he keeps signaling that. that
they cannot come to a consensus. And I'm telling you,
I've said this from the beginning.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Called it.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
I think we're going to get a mistrial. I think
we're going to get a hung jury. And I understand
that that's a disappointment for a lot of people, for
me as well. But now what does that look like?
Moving forward, first and foremost, Lindsay Clancy isn't going free.
That's not what's going to happen. She'll remain held under
the same murder charges. She'll be in the mental health
(05:13):
facility where she's living as of right now. But her
lawyers and the prosecutors are going to have to kind
of figure out what the next step is.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Does the prosecution want to fire another one up?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
They did with Karen Reid, you know, restart whole new
jury negotiate or they could negotiate a plea agreement. It
doesn't seem like a plea agreement is Something they want
to do.
Speaker 6 (05:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
But that's what will happen in the meantime if, in fact,
we get a hung jury, which all signs are pointing
to that.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yeah. Yeah. And you called it from Jump Street. I
don't know how you could have not expected this.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
No, I know.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
And it's just one of those things where it's just,
I think, just watching the pink people out there holding
their babies out front. Yeah. When Lindsay Clancy gets wheeled
into her vehicle and driven off and the pink people
cheer and like scream for her and they're holding their.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Babies at the same time.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I'm like, am I?
Speaker 4 (06:04):
What? Thank you.
Speaker 6 (06:05):
I want to.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
It's a little.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
The women that have brought their own kids there, they
should be jailed. What are you bringing your little kid
there for? And what are we cheering for her?
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Very weird thing to be bringing your kid to.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Can't handle it. I can't handle it. It's getting strange
out there. But the only thing stranger than that is
Dawn Light.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
And that is not a diet soap. I know that's
what it is. diet soap it's not um that's an
actual person and i love that you haven't been here
the last couple days because it sounds like dawn light
no dawn light is another person john is another massive
fan of lindsey clancy's and dawn loves lindsey so much
(06:44):
right that she snuck in oh boy no you're not
you're not you're not she snuck into the restricted employee
parking lot area that is guarded psycho um so she
could get a photo of lindsey clancy oh yeah she
wanted a photo of her well because that's her idol
(07:04):
And she also isn't the only one who parks there.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
The jury parks there.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
So now we have a potential intimidation of the jury.
Dawn Light gets arrested on spot. Surprise, surprise. Yes. So yesterday,
Dawn has to, you know, appear in court. And so
we got to hear a little bit of her hearing.
But the real show was when Dawn Light was released from,
you know, she pled not guilty to.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
And then she was released and she was running out.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Now, mind you, they were like, you can't come within
like a hundred feet of it.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Like, you got to go.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Get out of here.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
You can't be here.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
But this is her coming out of the courtroom. She's jogging.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
She's running away. And it just I mean, I can't.
Speaker 7 (07:46):
Why are you running?
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Why are you running?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Why are you running?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Why are you running? Rocking.
Speaker 8 (07:53):
You ain't positive, eh?
Speaker 4 (07:57):
To see Lindsay.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
To see Lindsay, and I did see her. She's getting
picked up by the van.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
They'll stop here.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
Is the misunderstanding going?
Speaker 1 (08:06):
To see Lindsay. Why did you want to see Lindsay?
Why not?
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Why are you attracted to this case the way you are?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Same reason we all are.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Okay, so listen. I understand. No matter how this shakes out,
it is a tragic thing. And, you know, she could have,
it could be all the, you know, pills and all
this other stuff and whatever. So I'm trying to be
nice about it, but she killed three kids.
Speaker 9 (08:35):
Right.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Why?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
I don't understand. I genuinely don't understand the, like, that obsession.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
And when i'm trying to like what did you want
a selfie.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
With her what do we get what do you what.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Are you going to do with the picture of her
in her wheelchair from afar what are you doing with
that how what what are we doing people are.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Doing this for like taylor swift which i understand i'll
get behind this is a very i can't make.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Sense of it i don't and i you know what's
crazy if you look online we're part of the minority
we're the we're the nutso's.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Dawn Light is the majority.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
What?
Speaker 6 (09:10):
No.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Your algo is going to feed you what your algo
is going to feed you. I do think there's enough
people in the world that have like this semblance of
a brain to be like, this is strange that women
are cheering and applauding and bringing their babies to this.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
This is.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Babies shouldn't be at courtrooms. No matter who's on trial.
I don't care if OJ's on trial. We're not bringing
our babies. We're not doing that. So yeah, Dawn just,
you know, pled not guilty at her arraignment. She just
really wanted a photo with Lindsay. It later came out
that every article that I read, I was crying. It
later came out that she's a Lindsay Clancy supporter. Oh!
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Really? Here I was thinking she's a hater.
Speaker 9 (09:50):
I know.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
She's crawling in the employee parking lot to get a photo.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
It's just, guys, it's just it's a lot.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
And it will. The craziness will continue. We're on verdict
watch as we gear up for day six. It seems
like the jury kind of has this little system where
they go into deliberate around nine ish. They come right
on out. Hey, just so you know, overnight, we're still
not agreeing. He sends them back in and they get
out later in the day, still saying that they're at
a standstill, which I think we're going to get another
day of that. Or we might.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Find out it's a mistrial.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
I know people would hate me on their jury because
I'd be like, no, arms crossed.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
They would hate you. Christmas could be the next day.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Can't see your plans.
Speaker 10 (10:27):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
I don't care. And we also have to remind ourselves
and I say this every day, but it's like, you know,
they have to go through a lot. Eighty five witnesses,
21 days of testimony, 300 plus pieces of evidence like.
It's just not shocking to me that they can't all agree.
So we shall see. Day six, gearing up today, dawn light.
All right, Tiger Woods has officially lost his driver's license
(10:49):
for five years.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
For five years?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I would suggest for forever.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
For five years?
Speaker 1 (10:54):
But yeah, for five years after striking a last-minute plea
deal yesterday in his Florida DUI case.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
That man should not want to drive.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
No. You have Tiger Woods money. You clearly like to
drink and take pills. You should not be driving. Get
a driver.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
But they're... Dude, it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Driving for people like it puts people into like they
die when they my grandfather quite literally died after they
took his license in his elderly age. It's just this
piece of freedom that people don't want to let go of.
But Tiger, then let go of the pills, honey.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
But being that being that famous, what freedom does he
like really have in general? Like he can't go anywhere. Right.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
He can't just like roll. Although he was rolling to like.
the waffle house and like hooking up with chicks.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
There but also but also your grandfather wasn't like driving
drunk and getting right yeah so like i but yeah
if you want to.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Do that also call me crazy how nice would it
be like for instance this morning to have a driver
oh I.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
Would have been napping. Oh, for sure. I'd get an
extra hour of sleep.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
That's what I mean. Sign me up for that.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
But yeah, I mean, the judge gave him a thousand
dollar fine for his first charge, 500 fine for the
second and a five year driving ban.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
I'm just shocked. It's like every time I see that
Harrison Ford has gotten another plane crash, I'm like, who's
letting him fly anymore?
Speaker 3 (12:10):
I don't like, why are we even letting him fly
a plane?
Speaker 4 (12:13):
It's so strange.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
When I was growing up, my dad had that contraption
that you had to fly. blow in to get the
car to start oh yeah yeah that was my childhood
and what was crazy is he would blow into that
he would start the car and then he would crack
the budweiser in between his two his thighs and say
daddy drives better with a cold soda so i i
have always had a tiger woods on my hand Always
(12:36):
in my time.
Speaker 10 (12:37):
All right.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Lastly, real quick. There's actually a chance when I tell
you this, you might quit because Snoop is hiring an
ice cream taster.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, you heard that correctly.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
An ice cream taster. It could be your full time
profession and you could make some serious cash.
Speaker 10 (12:54):
So you want to be our official ice cream taster?
You got to know your stuff. Like Dr.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
Maya here.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
PhD.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Ice cream science. Show them the PhD.
Speaker 7 (13:05):
Taking Dr.
Speaker 11 (13:06):
Bombay worldwide means we need you to help us find
our new flavors. Judging them on flavor profile, creaminess perception,
and microstructure composition.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Translation? You got to know that thing's smacking.
Speaker 10 (13:18):
As a global ice cream taster, you also got to
know how to chill worldwide. Like a smoko. That means
workplace in Australia. We do our smokos here in the
chill zone. We also got PTO and bank holidays. Over here,
deal handles your own boarding. So all you got to
do is focus on the flame. Oh, your company call?
(13:40):
I wouldn't take it on the highway. think you got
what it takes deal.com slash snoop apply today.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
Ten thousand dollars a month snoop is the only person
that when he dies he's gonna go to heaven with
a 100 completion rate of the game like yeah oh
he has done every side quest.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Guys i didn't even that's been i didn't even know
he owns this company called dr bombay him and his
son it's an ice cream company there's a snoopsicle at
costco No, it's called the Snoopsicle.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Of course it is.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Yep, and it's a Sherbert Popsicle, and you can buy
it at Costco.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
No idea.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Had no idea. He....
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Imagine, like, if you went back in time and told
someone who was, like, listening to Snoop in Snoop's, like,
hard-ass Snoop days. And you were like, no, he's going
to be peddling ice cream Snoopsicles. Eventually, you can eat
a Snoopsicle. And he's going to be hanging out with
Martha Stewart. Like, what?
Speaker 9 (14:36):
I know.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Martha's his, that's his homie.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
What a weird.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
The application is real. I looked it up this morning.
One of the questions, how much ice cream do you
eat per week? By the way, this is the job
for me. If there are seven days in the week,
I'm probably eating cream three to four of the seven.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
The diarrhea I would have if I did that. I'm
just saying. We don't use that word on this show. Listen,
my tummy's not built for it. I got a tired
little millennial belly.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Another asking question is, what's your favorite flavor or combination
of ice cream? Well, I know it would make your
belly hurt, but that's on the application.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
What's your.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Whatever they put in Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. That
thing is smashing.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah, I don't know what the base of that is, but.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Cherry and chocolate.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I would probably venture to say Black Raz Oreo. Black
Raspberry Oreo is an elite flavor that I don't think
people really would opt in on.
Speaker 6 (15:32):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Elite flavor.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
There's a flavor that I also get at B's, this
local spot in Marshfield.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
It is... It has M & M' s and cookie dough
in it with like a chocolate. No, it's bury me
in it. It's like this is the job for me.
I asked the girls at Dairy Queen like the week
they open to only allow me in once a week.
They're all 12. So they don't think it's funny and
they don't even laugh when I say it. But I
mean it wholeheartedly.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
That's yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
I have a problem.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
You need a program.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
That's why those things is donut on my belly hole.
I'll never be flat. That is three things you need
to know for Thursday, September 3rd. If you apply for
this job, I want to know everything. hi babes good
morning it's ashley the jam morning show bmo is joining
(16:19):
me so that's the one thing about you you only
come in thursday friday so we miss things on monday
tuesday wednesday and then you have to like inform me
at the end of last week we discussed my trip
to or it might have been two weeks ago at
this point my new hampshire tour yeah of me going
(16:40):
to every single theme park and then of course like
loading it up and our last stop.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Is clark's trading post the torture chamber says you.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Um and so we talked about that and i was
telling you guys how it was so wild because mad
people were dm me like ash You were a week
away from like this massive protest, PETA protest that was
going to be outside of Clark's Trading Post. I forgot
to look it up. I wonder how many people ended
up showing. One week away. And all my friends were like,
that's so funny. Only Bri was like, I would have
(17:11):
paid money for you to accidentally roll up on that protest.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
I would have paid so much for you to have
shown up to a protest. I would have died.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
And if you, for some reason, are listening and you're like,
what is Clark's Trading Post? Or you didn't hear the conversation.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
It is a.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Fun, like, little park in New Hampshire. It's fun for people.
Where bears, you know, they play basketball there. They play
hockey there. They balance little, like, balls on their nose.
And they get honey. And they get milk mixtures. And
ice cream cones.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
And ice cream cones. They love it there.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Do they?
Speaker 3 (17:46):
And they grew up there. And they like their trainers.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
I don't know. That's what it seems like to me. Oh, listen.
I also can step away and be like, man, they
might be.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Happier out there in the wilderness.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
But there's not.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Going to be ice cream. They ain't going to get
Dairy Queen.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
If there was a little room they stuffed you in
here for the other hours of the day, and you
were only allowed to come here and perform, and that's
when you would be fed, so you would perform, and
then they'd be like, all right, back in the cage,
you filthy Ashley. Would you love it? Would you look
(18:23):
like you loved the food? Because you haven't eaten?
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Well, if they starved me in the cage room, maybe.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
I don't know. Here we are.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
I'd be like, where's the basketball hoop for the love
of God?
Speaker 3 (18:32):
I'll shoot some hoops.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Come on, let's see that jumper.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
I'll do it. So it's so crazy because every time
I go, PETA writes me and they just send me
a scathing email saying, And I did find it to
be so.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
And by the way, I've said this a million times,
I'll say it again. PETA's like the mob.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
You don't know a single person that works for PETA,
but they're out there.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
It's very strange.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
No one can call in and be like, oh yeah,
my really good friend Jennifer works at PETA, because that
does not happen. They just live amongst us. It's like aliens. So...
shockingly we do that whole break. We've talked a ton
about Clark's trading posts. I explained it to you all.
And I get no email from PETA. And I'm like,
this is off like for them. Cause I'm on, I'm
(19:15):
on their watch list. They, you know, they read me constantly. Um,
so I couldn't believe it. All of a sudden, a
couple of days ago, you send me a text and
it's like all capitals.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
And it just says, Ashley, Oh my God, Ashley. And
it's exclamation points. And I'm like, who died?
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Who died?
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Like, that's what my brain was going to. Uh huh. Nope.
No one died, but BMO got himself an email.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Welcome to the club.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Big boy. And the amazing part is my like a
personal email isn't out there.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
That's what i'm saying pita is the mob do you
know what.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
I mean like my manager's email is out there or
like how to contact but like not my own personal
like email hold on give me a moment okay.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I mean and and just i'll i'll take the cat
out of the bag for you guys he didn't get
accosted by pita like i always do.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
No i got a um So I open my email to,
in all caps, THANK YOU from PETA.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
I can't! A thank you note from PETA to BMO.
Go on.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Hi BMO, and thank you so much for your kind
comments about Clark's Bears. Or as we'll be calling it
around here, Tiger King for Bears. Listen, I'm funny.
Speaker 6 (20:29):
Relax.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
As you have probably guessed, shows like this routinely try
to deceive audiences into thinking that the bears, who should
be climbing, digging, foraging, building nests, and roaming across home
ranges that span hundreds of acres, are somehow happy to
be confined on a few square feet of concrete and
(20:51):
forced to balance on barrels and ride scooters. We're glad
you immediately saw through this deception, which I did, which
I did. If you'd like to join PETA supporters speaking
up for the Bears at Clark's on Sunday. They'll be
meeting at 1230, and we'd love to have you join us.
(21:14):
I've included all the details in the media alert below
my signature.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
How sweet is it for you that PETA invited you
to go to one of their protests? You've made it.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Now, I'll tell you right now.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
PETA protests me? They've invited you to go to a protest.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Now, listen, the money I would have paid for you
to show up to that protest pales in comparison to
the money I would have paid for you to show
up to that protest and see me leading it. Like
to just walk up.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
You with the megaphone. Welcome.
Speaker 10 (21:40):
Welcome.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Step right up.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
My mind is, I'm so happy for you. A digital
print thank you note from PETA.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Not a lot of people can say it.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Listen, stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
You know?
Speaker 1 (21:55):
So with that being said, you never come with me
to Clark's training post.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
I don't think I can anymore. I don't think you
can anymore. I've made my side note.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
No, you are who you are. Well, I better not
catch you at a single aquarium. Don't even think you're
going to SeaWorld, buddy. You're out. Because I will snitch
so fast. I will snitch as fast as I possibly can.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
He did it! He went to see Shiva! Ashley and
the Jammin' Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
When you need to know, we got you. Three things
you need to know. On Boston's number one for hip-hop.
And the best throwbacks. Jammin' 94.5.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
There is no reason to suppose that the case will
ever be submitted to 12 persons more intelligent, more impartial,
or more competent to decide it. I now ask you
to return to your deliberations with these thoughts in mind.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Thursday, September 3rd, that was Judge William Sullivan giving a
few compliments to the jury, being like, there's nobody better
than you guys. You can do this. Trying to say
all the right things. Day five of deliberations concluded yesterday.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
We got no verdict. We got no questions. No evidence request.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Just another note saying, no, no, no, no. We are
at a standstill. Multiple notes. It seems like the jury
kind of does the same thing. They happen to be
there at nine. They go in around 10, between 10
and 11.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
They come back out. They're like, hey, stand still.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Because again- we're expected to believe that they go home,
they do not open their phones, they do not talk
to their loved ones, they just eat and go to sleep,
don't discuss anything.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
And then they come back in.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
So if that is the case, why am I changing
my mind? I've really put a lot of thought into this.
And if you're taking your job as a juror seriously,
you're not just gonna be like, you know what, fine,
whatever then. Center to the mental institution. You're gonna fight
tooth and nail for that. But then for the rest
(23:44):
of us, it's like a hung jury, a mistrial. Are
we going to are we going to run this thing back? Like,
what's the Commonwealth going to decide? You know, today would
be day six. And obviously we're going to be on
verdict watch. But my prediction is they're going to keep
doing the same exact thing. I don't know what could
possibly change. Maybe they asked to see more evidence and
maybe that could kind of sway somebody.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
I also feel like the more days go by, the
harder it is to change someone's mind. I do, too.
That's what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Almost like crack open the evidence again, bring something in,
look at something else. Maybe that would help. But here
in the state of Massachusetts, like there are multiple steps
before we're throwing in the towel here. Like you just
heard the Tui Rodriguez charge. You know, that's a last
ditch effort. Like, go back in there, figure this out, because.
I think the judge knows just as well as we
do that another jury is probably going to come to
(24:33):
the same conclusion. So, like, this is our best hope
at people, jury of our peers, figuring this out. If
you're somebody that's wondering, well, Ash, what happens if it
is a hung trial? Like, where does Lindsay Clancy go?
She ain't going to be free. She's going to remain
held under the same murder charges. She'll be in the
mental health facility forever. where she's housed now. I actually
believe that's in Tewksbury, correct? Yeah. And she'll stay there
(24:55):
until her lawyers in the Commonwealth kind of decide what
the next step is. Will the prosecution say, all right,
let's give her a plea agreement? Will they say, load
them up. We're doing this again. We shall see. You know,
so much chatter around this trial, just so much. And
I do want to start out by saying, knock on wood,
(25:17):
I was fortunate enough to not have postpartum. I suffered
from none of it. So I cannot speak to the
way that would feel. But I know there are so
many women that do and it is a constant struggle
and it is awful that pressure that women have to bear.
It's awful. That being said, the woman took the lives
of three little babies. And I there's just something that
(25:39):
feels unwell in my stomach when I see the pink
people with their actual babies outside of the Plymouth courtroom
cheering as she drives by.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
It is it is weird.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
What part are we cheering for?
Speaker 4 (25:49):
The circumstances are tragic no matter how you shake it.
Speaker 6 (25:54):
Right.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
But still what happened happened. And so it's weird to
be popping up with your kids and being like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
I don't want to roll with Dawnlight.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
I have that.
Speaker 7 (26:06):
I know.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
No, no. And that was another big story from yesterday.
We learned a little bit more about Dawn Light. Dawn
Light is a shock to no one, a fan of
Lindsay Clancy, so much so that she went into a
restricted employee parking lot area to record Lindsay being taken
out of the courtroom with her cell phone. Now, that
restricted areas also where the jury goes because we're not
(26:29):
allowed to see the jury. And so they have to
hide them. And so when the cops rolled up on
Dawn Lace, she thought she was slick. She had deleted
all the photos. The cops said, pull up your deleted folder, honey.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
We're not stupid. We're not stupid.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
So then, of course, Dawn gets arrested. She pleads not
guilty to her arraignment. The lawyer, her lawyer, is calling
the whole thing a misunderstanding, saying she was just trying
to get her one picture of Lindsay. That's bad enough.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Lock her up for that. Yeah, Looney Tunes.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Crazy like you're going into restricted areas now you're out
and about in life like okay not an example i'm
at a bar in new hampshire and i roll up
on casey anthony i'm trying to get a picture for
my friends to show that i'm at the same bar
as can't see but i'm not crossing i'm not crossing
into a territory where i might get arrested to do
it ma'am No, I'm like, you guys, Casey Anthony is
(27:18):
at this bar.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Like, this is crazy.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
So Dawn gets arrested. She pleads not guilty. She gets
outside of her arraignment. And in typical Dawn fashion, I
don't even know her enough to need to know.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
But we know her enough.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
She starts running.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Why are you running?
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Why are you running?
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Why are you running?
Speaker 4 (27:37):
I just wanted to see Lindsay and see her get
picked up by her van.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
For what? And also, who was the guy that was like,
you're not faster than me!
Speaker 11 (27:46):
Like, what weird situation.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Imagine, I can't get past how cool that was.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Crazy, this entire situation.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
If I delete my brain, like, from everything that I know,
and someone shows me the pink people with their babies
outside cheering, I'm like, oh, what is this, a breast
cancer rally? Like, I'm serious. That's what I would think,
but it's not. It's moms and women cheering... For a
woman who has already said that she took the lives
of her three, we're not fighting that. This isn't a whodunit.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
And you can support her, especially in the mental health
aspect of it.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
For sure.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
And all that, but that still is like, the things
still happened.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah. So it's just giving weirdness to sort of just
skirt past.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
That is weird.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yeah, it's tough. And that's why I started out by saying, like, again,
I know that postpartum is real. I do believe after
hearing from some of her doctors that this whole thing
was mishandled. I mean, she herself is suing some of
those doctors. Patrick Clancy is suing those those doctors like that.
I don't think any of us are fighting that one.
But at the end of the day, like this is
still a murder trial. And then you have the Don
Lights of the world who are like jogging around with
(29:04):
no bra on, like laughing that she wanted a picture
with Lindsay.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Like, what are we doing?
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Well, I guess, you know, back in the day when
they had all the like, like killer killers, like the
serial killers, people were still like in love with those folks, too.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (29:15):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Charles Manson.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
And listen, people be watching serial killer documentaries still today.
So I guess there's a pocket of people that just.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
No, for sure. I mean, I like true crime, you know,
but I'm not a big person. But I mean, but
you know what? I also heard the like the Boston bomber,
like he gets love notes sent to him all the time.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
That's insane.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
To your point, is what I'm saying. All right, so
they're back in there today, 9 a.m. I can only
believe that we're going... to be getting a lot more
of the same from this jury. The foreman's going to
be like, listen, like, we can't figure it out. That's
a lot of a lot of testimony to go through.
Eighty five witnesses, 21 days, 300 plus pieces of evidence.
But it's up to those nine women and three men
(29:52):
to decide. All right.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
Let's talk about Paul Pierce.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Paul. My guy gets it in my dog. That's my man.
If I could party with Paul, I would. If I
could party with Paul, I might die.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Yeah, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Paul had like a little bit of a love child situation.
And once they got the confirmation that it in fact
was Paul's baby boy king, he had to pay child support. Now,
the woman wanted, I want to say like 40k a month, something.
She wanted some astronomical number in child support. He is
(30:27):
now forced to pay her close to nine grand a
month in child support. crazy lower than the initial figure
that his ex-princess wanted. The child support as of right
now is temporary. They're going to, you know, have to
look at it in a couple months to kind of
see how things develop. But in addition to him paying
her that nine grand a month in child support, he
(30:49):
is also required to pay $ 100, 000 for her legal fees
and $ 10, 000 to hire a forensic accountant to evaluate his
finances because basically she's calling BS. And in court, he
was like, The figure that she's saying that I make
X amount of money per year, like I did when
I played basketball.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
I don't play basketball anymore.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Right.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
So my monthly income looks a little bit different. Obviously,
once that paternity suit came out, you knew she was
going to be going for some cash money. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
100%.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
9K a month sounds nice. But the issue with the
celebrities is... you don't want to go to daddy's and
be living the lavish life. And then you come to
mommy's and you're like, poor life.
Speaker 6 (31:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
So these celebrities fight to say like, you know, I,
the kids levels of life have to be the same. Yeah. Um,
I don't know. I would love to know, like, I
wonder if we do a quick googly, like what do
we think is the average child support? What is the
average monthly? I'm sure it changes.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
For, like, regular humans? Just, like, normal people?
Speaker 1 (31:49):
I think it changes, like, by state. I'm assuming... The average.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Uh-oh.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
She's getting $ 9, 000 a month.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
She wanted, like, $ 40, 000, but she's getting $ 9, 000. The average
monthly child support payment in the United States... $ 441. Wow.
Speaker 4 (32:07):
I was going to say 500, not even $ 441.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Just to, just to throw this out there when I
buy dypes and wipes weekly, that is over $ 100. Wow.
And I'm not, I'm buying pampers or huggies. Like I'm not, yeah,
that is how to put it into that perspective is crazy.
I remember once I turned 18, my mom was like, okay,
(32:30):
obviously Scott, like there's no more child support. Like she's 18.
And he was like, can we go back to, he's
a degenerate as well as an alcoholic. And he was like,
could we go back to court and just have them
still take the money out of my paycheck so I
don't see it?
Speaker 3 (32:43):
And she's like, it doesn't work like that.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
It just actually doesn't work like that. All right, Travis
Kelsey and his brother Jason are back in action doing
their podcast, the New Heights podcast. We have really heard,
which I think is kind of crazy, little to nothing
about Travis's and Taylor's wedding.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Which is pretty insane.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
It is, but it's like, I still do hate on
them so much for Madison Square Garden, but this is
the exact point.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
So we could see nothing.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
They were quite literally trapped in a box, an indoor
box that we couldn't see anything. We don't even know
what the woman wore. Yeah. And that is crazy.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
That's actually insane.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
I really, really thought that by this point, it would
be one photo, like an iconic photo that she approved.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
How much money do you think that photo would go for?
If I had one on my phone?
Speaker 1 (33:31):
I can't. I can't. I can't even imagine.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
And I do it like I'm not a Swifty, but
I know the way that the Swifty talk about the
way Taylor's mind is. We'll see a photo, but it'll
be like an Easter egg for an album when she's 80.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
I don't know how.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
It'll work, but something will happen with a photo. But
here's Trav telling his brother was kind of like, so
can we talk about this?
Speaker 3 (33:52):
And here they are having a little convo.
Speaker 8 (33:54):
Speaking of other things out of the bag, we do
have probably the most interesting bit of the offseason.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
You're finally married.
Speaker 8 (34:01):
What do we want to talk about? We've already talked
about this on other podcasts. What do we feel like
sharing and discussing? Travis, I'll leave the floor.
Speaker 6 (34:07):
To you it was insane it's a night we'll never
forget me and taylor are so thankful for everybody that
showed up from the vows to you know just seeing
everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire
evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody's
stories of the night and it was just so magical
man and i wish it could have lasted even longer
(34:29):
than it did it felt like it just happened at
a blink of an eye and they kicked us out
very magical magical night i can't say thank you to
everyone without a give a special thank you to the
Adam Sandler.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
Oh my gosh. He has been just the.
Speaker 6 (34:44):
Best person on this planet for him to be up
for getting ordained in the state of New York and
marrying me and Taylor in the way he did it
in the very, you know, Sandman style, giving us more
than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing
that it was the biggest night of both of our lives.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
It was absolutely insane.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
That tidbit, I remember when that came out, I was like,
this is fake. This is definitely going to be fake.
Adam Sandler married Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. And I
remember we were so hard like digging, like what's the,
but Trav was in Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
That's like the only connection.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
I'm sure the Swifties are upset right now because there's
probably more. Taylor probably wore orange, which is Adam's favorite color.
And when his mother died, she was buried in an
orange dress with sapphires.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
And that meant something. Stupid.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Um, but yeah, it's crazy. We have, we have no
Intel really on what happened inside, but I'm sure it
was a magical moment, which by the way, I would
have died to have been there. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 4 (35:39):
I got pass.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
What?
Speaker 6 (35:41):
Pass.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Now you're going to look me dead in the eye.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
I'm going to look you dead in the eye.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
You are such a liar.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
I am not lying. You wouldn't go to that wedding.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
No. What is your problem?
Speaker 4 (35:52):
It's too much.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
I can name 75 celebrities that I despise. I'm going
to that wedding. We like to party.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Okay. If you put it that way. Just think about
it as a.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Massive get together with rich people. Okay.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
I'd show up late and be there just for the reception.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Exactly. No one wants to sit through the first part anyway.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Also, I just want to say, I am still on $ 441.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
All the things we just went through, like more than Dawnlight.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
The fact that I was going to say 500 and
I was low balling it as much as I could
conceivably think. Like my body still wasn't enough.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
I just running through camp costs one hundred and fifty
some dollars. And now now we have like only two. OK,
that is three things, you know, for Thursday, September the third.
I got this DM.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Oh, no, it's not.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
I know it wasn't a threat. or anything crazy this
time um but it's it's a guy being like why
do i find this to be so weird she doesn't
and we're supposed to leave for a trip like what
what's going on yeah a little bit we'll talk about
it next it's ashley and the jamming morning show and
it's time for another dm dilemma Oh, my God, you guys. Hi.
(37:05):
Good morning. Hello. I love when I get DMS from
you and they're they're already juicy. And then you message
me and it's like, yeah, it's like another level.
Speaker 7 (37:14):
All right.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
So I get this initial message by. And by the way,
if you're going through it, you have you have something
going on. And you want to ask us because you're like,
I can't ask my family and friends are too close
to it. I totally understand that. You can DM me
at Ashley Feldman to ease on the Ashley.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
For this guy, 877-617-1945.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
This is.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I think this one is so interesting because I think
everybody would respond differently just because I don't think some
people care about flirty DMs and I think others do.
So he says, I have a DM dilemma. My girlfriend
got a DM from an old friend and it was
a picture of a meme.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
I have the picture.
Speaker 7 (37:54):
Oh boy.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
The meme said, send this to someone you want to
have a baby with. Oh. And she responded with, wait,
did you mean to send this to me? And then
he says, yeah, I did mean to send it to you.
I can't believe we met six and a half years ago.
He goes, the worst part about this is we leave
(38:17):
for a trip tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
I'm sorry, we leave for a trip. So then I go,
we're going back and forth about the thing.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
And he goes, Ashley, I will do my best to
respond because I know you're going to ask me questions
and follow-ups here.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
But like, we are all, we are wholly on this trip.
Like we have left.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
He said, when I asked her about it, mind you,
I didn't really get to like how you, he.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Saw it, the DMS.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
I don't know if she offered it up or whatever,
but he said she didn't think anything of it. She
said that was just them catching up.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
He's an old friend.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Um, He said, I did go back through some of
their messages and I was looking at some of the
older stuff. And he's always sliding into her DMs, complimenting her,
saying how much of a.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Beautiful baddie she is.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
He goes, I'm going to be honest, Ash, I've kind
of let it go for the sake of this trip
and the relationship. But what would everybody else have done?
And what should she be doing now to kind of
make it right?
Speaker 3 (39:05):
She also said she finds.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
It to be OK that she responds to him because
he doesn't live in the state of Massachusetts. Do you
want to hear their actual convo? Like I could read
you the whole thing or is that enough for you?
Because the meme is send this to someone you want
to have a baby with her. Did you mean to
send that to me? Him?
Speaker 4 (39:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
But for real, though, I was just thinking about how
crazy it is that we met six and a half
years ago. Then they go on to say how old
they were at the time.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Um so were they a thing when they met was
that like a are they like that's.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
A good question he i'm trying to see the initial.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
An old friend.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
That clearly wants to.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
Yeah i mean clear what the old friend wants that's
very clear.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
I'm just like looking back through their messages to see
if there's anything. But they're doing the age old catch up. Like,
what are you doing now? Where do you work? Oh,
my God, that's so great. You're moving up. It's so funny.
Do you still like and asking, like, do you still
have these sort of likes that you used to have
from years and years and years ago? The bottom line is,
let's concentrate on if an old friend of yours sends
(40:09):
you a meme that says, send this to someone you
want to have a baby with.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Damn well knowing that this woman is with someone else.
Speaker 5 (40:16):
Right.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
Is she wrong for responding in any sort of way?
Speaker 4 (40:21):
I don't think she's wrong for responding, but it depends
on how she then would frame it to me. Because
if it was me, Sarah would be like, Leo, look
at this message. This is weird, right?
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Exactly.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
And I'd be like, yeah, it's weird. And we'd be
like laughing about the guy. Be like, aha, loser.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
You know what? Did she?
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I'm going to see if he'll answer. They're in Puerto
Rico right now on vacation.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
That's you know where I wouldn't be on the vacation. Actually,
maybe I would be.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
I guess that's like the second part of this.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Do you go on?
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Did she show you or did you find these messages?
That's a really solid because you're right. Are we a
part of this together? Are we looking at this? But
then you have to see.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
Also, if somebody sends me that meme, I'd probably just
like heart it. But then that would I guess that
would be me.
Speaker 4 (41:07):
I'd get that. You could.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
Why are you even acknowledging that? Yeah. But like she doesn't,
by the way, guys, just so we're clear in their messages,
because I'm reading. She does not acknowledge the baby thing.
okay she writes did you mean to send that to me.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
Yeah that's with an lol yeah something about that lol
i don't know it just feels.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
All right fine let's say say.
Speaker 4 (41:32):
He found it okay then issue.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Not going on a trip issue because i'm still going to.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
Puerto rico that's the thing i'm going to puerto rico
but maybe i'm bringing a friend Maybe I'm like Liz's sweets.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
I just don't know. Oh, he found it. Bubbles. Oh,
my phone stopped working. So I got bored at 2 a.m.
And I went through her phone. I don't like that either.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
I don't like that either.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Because if you went through her phone, that meant you
had like a guttural feeling like you were going to
find something.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
And then you did.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
And then, yeah.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
And then you did. So she never even brought it up.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
No, which then... That makes you feel a type of way, too.
But how does that convo go? We're married.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
I come home and I'm like, guess what?
Speaker 1 (42:19):
An old friend said he wants to have a baby
with me. You're going to be like, what? There's no
fun way to say that.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
Well, this... This hasn't happened, but literally, I know how
me and Sarah are, is that if that happened, yes, 100%
we're coming home being like, guess what?
Speaker 1 (42:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Look at this creep. I'm a prized possession. And we're
cracking jokes about it because we know we don't care.
Nothing's going to happen. But then not bringing it up
then feels like it was something was there. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
He's continuing to write. My phone crashed. It stopped working.
So I couldn't talk to her all day Monday. And
later on, I got a new phone and I continued
to ignore her.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
We live together.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
This has been really tough. Yeah, I don't know if
it's egregious enough for us. Should I ask, like, they've
been together for almost three years. Any other infidelities? You
know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (43:19):
That's a big part. That's a big part.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
Because if this is it, I'm sorry. I don't think
this is that bad.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
That's not that bad.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
Like, the fireman gets sent a meme that says, send
this to someone you want to have a baby with.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
And he writes back, did you mean to send that
to me? I'm not that bad.
Speaker 4 (43:33):
No. No.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
She's never cheated before, guys.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
Just so we're clear.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
He just said, not a single other infidel. I think
he's overthinking.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
Maybe, yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
I mean, definitely the dude wants to get in her pants.
So that needs to be addressed to some degree.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
And they didn't. They're going over like what Disney characters
they like.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Yeah. So yeah, that part should probably be addressed. But
it depends on that conversation, I think. Because if she's
like defensive and like kind of weird about it, then
now I'm a little fishy. But if she's just like, oh, dude, like, yeah,
it's weird that he sent that.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Then we're good.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
She also could be like.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
Why are you going through my phone? Yeah, that part,
you know.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
All right. So two parts here. Eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five.
He probably has like his AirPods on laying in his
bed in Puerto Rico.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
And he's like, he's just smiling. She's asleep.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five, eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five.
Put yourself in this scenario. You go through your significant
other's phone. Somebody sent a meme to them that says,
send this to someone you want to have a baby with.
And they respond. They're going back and forth, having a
little combo. And then you leave for a trip the
next day. A, is this egregious enough to call it quits?
Speaker 3 (44:47):
Are you going on the trip?
Speaker 1 (44:48):
And do you want to have a baby with that
person too?
Speaker 3 (44:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (44:52):
877-617-1945.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Call us. Hi, everybody.
Speaker 1 (44:54):
Good morning. It's Ashley in the GMM Morning Show. Myself, BMO,
and my guy, Anonymous, who has been in my DMs
the last couple days and is now in Puerto Rico
with his girlfriend and just unwell. Essentially... He went through.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
His girlfriend's phone and.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
He found out that one of her old friends from
seven years ago, it doesn't look like they've had relations,
but they've been very flirty in DMs through the years,
sent her a, I'm calling it a meme, but now, Bri,
you're like, maybe we wouldn't even consider this a meme.
Speaker 3 (45:24):
Yeah, so- Because I have the actual receipt.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
And it is a pink screen, you guys, and it says,
send this to someone you want to have a baby with.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
There's no photo with it. It's quite literally just words.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
So that's what I thought, is I was like, if
there's a funny photo, if it's like a joke thing-
Then it feels a little different. It quite literally, you
might as well have just sent a text that said,
I want to make a baby with you. Like, it
is just text.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Yeah, I would like to hook up if you're down.
So then she writes back, LOL, did you mean to
send this to me? And he goes, I did. But
for real, I was thinking about how you and I
met six and a half years ago and how crazy
that is.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
And how we still haven't had a baby.
Speaker 1 (46:02):
And she goes, yeah, that is crazy. I don't think
she said anything too egregious, but like we've been going
back and forth, me and the guy. And to add
to this mess, they left the next day for Puerto Rico.
I was I messed up so badly on the timeline.
I thought he was saying, we have a trip soon
and I don't know if I can get out of
my mind. But he was like, we're leaving like in
a few hours. So he's like laying in bed. I
picture him in Puerto Rico right now. She's asleep next
(46:24):
to him. He has the AirPods in because he doesn't
want to mess us chatting about this. Eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five, eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, one, nine, four, five.
So we now know he went on the trip. He
was able to, you know, but he did just write
me and say, I'm OK. I'm trying to let it go,
but it's just still in the back of my mind.
Why did she answer? And I said, listen, I can
understand that. I'm just saying I don't think it's breakup worthy.
(46:45):
And he goes, me neither. But at least she should
be blocking this guy. Why would she answer anyway? That's
the part that's hurting me. Brianna is in Lynn.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
Brianna.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Hello. I'm dying.
Speaker 3 (46:57):
So, a crash out or are we going to Puerto Rico?
Speaker 7 (47:02):
No, I'm crashing out.
Speaker 11 (47:04):
I'm going to Puerto Rico by myself.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Okay, but like she didn't really comment on said meme.
She just was like, did you mean to send this
to me? I just think it's weird.
Speaker 7 (47:18):
I feel like there's like a door open there. You know, like,
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (47:22):
I feel like If you're committed to somebody like you
shouldn't be talking to somebody else on that level where
they feel so comfortable that they can say that.
Speaker 5 (47:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
I mean, I'm high horsing a little bit, but I
would read that and I would see that interaction and
I would be like, yo, what's up?
Speaker 4 (47:39):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (47:40):
What is this? Right.
Speaker 7 (47:41):
Right.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
Love it. Now, Brianna, but you feel like this is
worth a breakup. Like that's how bad you think it is.
Speaker 7 (47:49):
Yeah, because, I mean, listen, I've been in a really
crappy relationship before, and there's always that one little friend that, oh,
it's just a friend, it's just a friend, it's just
a friend. They're never just a friend. If that door
is open where this person feels so comfortable where they
can say, oh, I want to have a baby with you,
then that seems a little sus.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
I can get behind that. And we also, Brianna, thank
you for the call. We can't forget.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
He went up through their messages through the years and
he was calling her beautiful, saying she was a baddie.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
So here's my other question. This is a friend this
guy has like never met and doesn't know. Right. And
so it's not that close of a friend.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
And he doesn't even like he doesn't even live in
the state. So I don't think they're like spending time
with this man. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
So that that makes it also a little weirder because
I could understand if it was like a very close
friend and there was like a weird joke or whatever,
because you're like, whatever, they're besties. But like. If this
is kind of a peripheral friend that's being like, you're
so beautiful, let's make a baby. Yeah, the let's.
Speaker 3 (48:48):
Make a baby is tough.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
Dario is in Lawrence. Dario, I am going to stand
with you on this one.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
I am.
Speaker 1 (48:53):
And I feel like women are going to get mad,
but I think you have a point here. Go ahead.
Speaker 9 (48:59):
I think it's a double standard because I think that
if his girlfriend found a message of that kind of
nature in his DMs, She would be crashing out and
she would have probably, again, not gone on this trip
or considered like a breakup.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
I think a breakup maybe sounds a little extreme because, again,
I think maybe it's a conversation to be had since
it was. kept in secret. But no, yeah, double standard,
I think, just because, again, as Brianna just mentioned, I
think entertaining by replying and just keeping this guy thinking that, again, like, oh,
we're having a conversation, like there's something there is enough
(49:36):
to kind of be defensive as a partner.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
I like let's imagine if he sent the meme to
someone diabolical like it would.
Speaker 3 (49:45):
Be over with.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
But even if he was the one who received it
and he kind of went back and forth with the girl,
you're right. She would be like, we're not going to
Puerto Rico. It would be a whole thing.
Speaker 4 (49:55):
Yeah, it would be a mess.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
It absolutely would. It just sounds so aggressive when we say, like,
have a baby with me.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
But that that's what it looked like. It was a
aggressive part.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
It almost looked like he could have made this meme himself. Yeah.
Screen that says send this to someone you want to
have a baby with. And you know what? I will
never forget.
Speaker 3 (50:12):
Dario, thank you for the call. My ex of like
college days.
Speaker 1 (50:16):
So like centuries ago, he told me once and it
just it just never has escaped me. He's like, anytime
we were fighting, no matter what you responded, you could
have said, I hate you. Die now. And I would
have been like, I got her.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
She's responding. Silence is the slow killer.
Speaker 6 (50:30):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
Silence.
Speaker 1 (50:31):
So had she just left that man on read, like
I saw your baby meme, I'm not responding.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
He would have been like, that's my girl.
Speaker 1 (50:37):
Yeah. But she went back and forth and they talked
about Disney characters that they love and what they've been
up to and all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
Has our boy and his girl talked about this thing yet?
Speaker 1 (50:47):
It's a good question.
Speaker 4 (50:48):
Because I'm wondering if he hasn't even brought it up
yet because he sneaky found it. And he doesn't also
doesn't know how to bring it up.
Speaker 1 (50:55):
He did because remember her response was like, well, he
doesn't even live in this state. Like I was just
being friendly.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
It's not. Okay. The way you just said it. Now
I don't love that response. Oh, what am I going
to sleep with him? He doesn't even live here. If
he lived here, it may be different.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
This DM is kind of interesting. She said he's making
it bigger than it needs to be. I've been in
a similar situation and it's uncomfortable when your partner is
making it. It seemed like you were doing something wrong
when your attentions were pure. Sometimes when you are too nice,
you just respond and try to change the convo to
a friendly one, which, by the way, she definitely did do.
Like she did try to swerve the convo. And I
told him that I was like, she was like, did
(51:29):
you mean to send this to me? And then she
could have wholly not acknowledged it and gone on to like,
what's your favorite Disney character? But. Either way, I think
he has a point for being a little annoyed. Both
sides make sense. It seems like his ultimatum is like,
you need to block this guy. Like, he has to
be blocked.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Which I think is fair. I think that's fair, too.
If he feels uncomfortable with it, and it doesn't sound
like this guy is that important, he's out of state.
So it doesn't seem like he's that big of a deal.
Then just be like, all right, later, dude.
Speaker 3 (52:01):
Let it ride.
Speaker 4 (52:01):
Because what's it matter?
Speaker 1 (52:03):
It seems like my DMs are, like, torn. Some people
are like, I'm not getting on that flight to Puerto Rico.
And then other people are like, he's doing too much.
I mean, guys, he went to Puerto Rico. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
He's there.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
Like, I just watched his Instagram story.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
I mean, both sides make sense.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
I know.
Speaker 4 (52:17):
Both sides make sense.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
But there's, I don't know. I wouldn't love it, but
I don't think it's break-up worthy.
Speaker 1 (52:22):
Yeah, well, I'm not going to test it out. I'm
not sending anybody a meme that says I want to
have a baby with you. No. I am all set
on that. Well, he'll have to keep us posted on
if she blocked or not. Yeah. But yeah, I mean,
at this point, that's the solution. If you want to
send someone that meme, you might as well just write
like one a bang. Yeah. Yeah. Like, hey, hey, I
know we've known each other for seven years, but like,
(52:43):
I'm still down to have sex.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
And how are you doing? What is your favorite Disney character?
