Speaker 1 (00:02):
Morning show with DJ Forn It's Saty.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Morningst's number one for hip hop jamming ninety four or five.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Hi, everybody, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
We had something else to talk about, but this is
what we called being a team player, and I think
we should right now concentrate on today being the last
day to go to Boston Music Awards dot com and
vote for DJ Forren to be DJ of the Year
for the second year. Now you might be driving think
of no, no, no, I don't want to vote for

(00:38):
DJ Forren before the because can I I'm setting up here.
It's a setup because I've never seen him in the club.
I don't know what that experience is like. Ash Hop
on a mike, Ashley AJ, myself and Santi we have experienced.
We've been there, we have been live action. So we're
gonna paint the scene for you on what it's like.

(01:01):
I'll let each one of us individually say what it
feels like to be in the club with DJ Forren
on the ones and two son, Why don't you.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Go ahead, I will say that in all the years
I spent going to bars and clubs and all that
stuff and working at this radio station, no DJ has
the energy that Forren has and on top of it,
the mic skills, Like he definitely gets the crowd going,
like he said, he said some stuff on the mic,
but man, the energy is like top notch.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Which people think is easy. Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Do I think I could tell a story better on
the radio than DJ Forren.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
But if I go into the club and someone hands
me a mic that does not translate, like I can't hide,
where are my ladies at? Like that's literally what I
would say. It's so hard to do that in the club.
It's it's a skill set that not everybody has.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
But he also has like the timing of when to
come in and out of the songs with her. Again,
like when I used to do it, I was horrendous
and I didn't know when to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I d back in the day. I wasn't great. I
had no idea hit under Krazy Kulo. Yeah that's shame.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, shout out to the harp in Boston. I guess
it's been there, but yeah, but Thorne's timing is like
it's impeccable.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Ash.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
How would you describe a club in which DJ Forn
is the DJ? Yeah, well, I'll actually add that he
was at your wedding and he took over and turned
your wedding into a legit club.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah, it was the best, Like we had such a
good time.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
There are videos of like my aunt and uncles grinding
on each other and I'm like, wait, well, but you
couldn't not.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
You just couldn't.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
You couldn't not because Yeah, and then obviously the age
old tale that I'll tell everybody is he's not just
getting on the mic asking you.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Know, where are my single ladies. He's like that, He's
not doing that.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
He also takes it one step further, and he does
it for the city of Boston.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
He does health checks.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I do it. Uh. So you know, you might be
in the club with him and he might say raise
your hand if.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Your pH balance is right, and you're forced.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
To raise your hand a J and I had this
moment when.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
He did it.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
But the one time we stared at each other in
our eyes and we both just like raised our hands
in silence because you have to. But there, it is
an experience to be in the club with DJ Forren.
I know a lot of you guys that listen have
sought him out to go where he's at. I will
when people DM me I always say go look at
Thorn's flyer for the weekend. If you want to go out,
that's where you should go. I am exhausted because that

(03:22):
was like the nicest I can possibly teach to anybody.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
That was a lot. That was a lot for me.
Boston Music Awards dot com.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I think the best part about it is you can
just go right to DJ Forren's DJ of the Year.
He's the first one hit that we need to be
able to say we have the DJ of the Year
on the show. Okay, Boston Music Awards dot com.
