Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh baby, wake it up, because we have a treat
for you. Bemo, the Prince is back. I was trying
to be so nice to you yesterday too, because I
was like, I obviously always check in, so I text
you and I'm like, hey see you tomorrow. Can't wait
love to have someone to chat with. And he's like,
oh damn, Like I forgot about that. So of course
(00:23):
I've been saying you're coming all week and how I
can't wait for you to join me at the end
of the week. So I was like, it was very nice.
I was like, it's cool, tell me, fine, I'll take
you on Friday. I'll take you when I can.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Get Yeah, this is what happens when you let me
have a week off, I know, and then you go.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Actually, honestly, I didn't even know it was Wednesday. I
was I was lost. Yeah, I think everybody is. Jewels
came in here today, same thing. Jewels was like, today
is Thursday. I truly think it's because of the build
up to the Big two fifty the fourth of July.
People had off weird days and now we're just trying
to like figure out this week. Very confusing, but either way,
you're here. Happyway. Yeah, not only, but either way. Yes,
(01:00):
you are one of the friends I can indulge with
as soon as the fourth is over. It's Halloween time, yes,
yes it is. I was trying to decide. You know,
my husband is not he's not down with it gets out.
He's not fun, so he obviously just doesn't like anything
that's enjoyable. And I said, I'll give you to August one. Wow,
(01:21):
August generous, that's what I'm saying. August one, the first
skeleton is joining the crew the August maybe not the
outdoor one, but I got like a seven footer that
like stands in the front of the house, like that
one might come out. I might take penny Wise. I
put like a trash bag over Pennywise's face because he's
so scary in my garage. Yeah, the trash bag might
come off, like we might entertain Pennywise coming out. That's
where I'll be out on August, just a slow like
(01:45):
I will give people July, but you have to like
allow us to have August, September, October, yes, you know,
because what else what else are we building up for
at that time? I know, and like all these Halloween
deck everything you gotta give us enough time to enjoy them. Absolutely.
I live for this time period of like when is
Home Goods gonna put out their first Skelly. I love
(02:08):
it so much. Everybody tells me that Wednesday is when
they put out their new stuff. I have stopped by
the Marshfield Home Goods way more times than I'd like
to emit just to see nothing yet though, Still flamingos,
Still flamingos. But we're waiting. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Once you see that orange, like you can see it
through the windows too. You can feel it. It's almost
like you can feel it from outside.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Pro tip. Usually they start with like a plate or
a cup. Oh, that's where they always begin, Yeah, in
one of the middle rows. Like it's not in a row,
it's like in an aisle, and it'll be like a
random collection of like Jack Skelly orange plates or something.
That's how they always kind of like test the water
and then we then we we're rolling. Is your wife
the same?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
She has accepted this, Okay, she has finally come around
to be like because she loves a chance to decorate
and she loves like a good theme moment. And so
I've I've finally like sucked her into it.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
And also I have like a few other friends that
she's close with that are Halloween's like me, right you Yeah,
And immediately our group chat, just like July fifth was
like happy Halloween.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
It just we're here. I know. That's really what it
is like July fourth, Happy fourth of July. Then the next day,
Happy Halloween to all. There's a do you have any
of the home Depot stuff, like you have any of
the twelve footers or anything? No? No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
We don't have any of the like super outside stuff.
All of our stuff ends up being in the house
because we throw a Halloween party every year. Oh and
so it's all inside. Yeah, Like because I like to
see my decorations, I don't like get it. I don't
look outside.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
I've I on the opposite end. I've committed to the outside.
And I have multiple twelve foot skeletons. I have like
the big one from Costco that's like the size of
AJ's height, so very small, very tiny. But I Home
Depot is dropping a twelve foot this year. That speaks Oh,
(04:02):
and I'm like, I have to it will be close
to you, No, it will be close to impossible. To
get and I'm like, I have to have it. I
have to have it, and I know that people listen
to this show will help me in this, in this whole,
like you know, it's I have committed to the outdoor
of my house being like it's us a skeleton theme.
So I don't because everyone'ses like, why don't you get this?
(04:22):
Why don't you get that? I'm like, nah, dude, I'm straight.
Skelly's out. I like the aesthetic of it all, but
I need the one that speaks how early does the
outside stuff get outside? He's cool at September one, because like,
I try to do it myself, but it's quite literally
like dragging a dead body, so I need help. But he,
he's he, he's like September one. He can handle. Okay, yeah, okay,
(04:42):
it's so exciting. I tell you, we are here. It's
the most truth is bemo. The Prince's back. We're talking Halloween.
Ashley Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know Number one for hip hop and
the best throwbags you haven't eighty four five.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
We all live paycheck to.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Paycheck, so mass general, But have you thinking that we're
here getting paid. You know, our fortune and dripping in dollars.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
All we're asking for is fair pay.
Speaker 6 (05:14):
We know inflation's gone up a lot and we haven't
gotten any rais is.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
All we're looking for is just cost of living.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
That's it. Not a crazy ask. Thursday, July ninth, and
the nurses have gone on strike at Bringing the Women's Hospital. Thousands.
I'm talking like upwards of four thousand nurses at Bring
the Women's went on strike early yesterday morning. Now, this
is one of the largest nurses strikes in Massachusetts history.
(05:42):
It will end in just about forty five minutes, but
when it concludes, they're locked out. Now this is a
little confusing to me, but essentially the hospital, once they
knew that this strike was going to happen, was like, well,
we have to we have to continue to go like
we're a machine here. We got a people have you know,
people are still gonna get hurt to have them come in.
They hired over thirteen hundred temporary replacement nurses. And the
(06:05):
way their contracts were contractually, there's a five day minimum
that they must honor. So the people that are striking
outside when they end the strike today at seven am,
they just can't go right back to their lockers. They
can't come back to the hospital till monday. Oh, this
is wild so summer, assuming they might just like stay
out there now, I Joels put me in my place
(06:27):
a little bit. This morning. I was like, are they
back out there? They didn't stay out out all night?
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Did they?
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Just like, yes, Ashley, that's what a strike is. I
was like, Oh, I thought I thought they went home,
like slept and came back out. Yeah. I don't know
the strike rules. I'm saying, I haven't been a one.
What I said yesterday, I'll say again. If the big
rat the blow up rats out there, I know it's serious.
I hadn't seen that yesterday. I didn't see that. But
I'm telling you, like the fact that they are staying
(06:53):
out overnight, they mean biz and I don't blame them.
What pisses me off about the fact that these nurses
aren't getting paid is the same people that aren't paying
them are the same people that if they got hurt
or need a treatment, would expect treatment exactly the people
you want the treatment, like, just play them, and so
it seems they just want fair. It's always those type
(07:13):
of jobs.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
It's always like teachers and nurses, like why are they
the ones that always have time tooth and nail?
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I don't get it. I'll be frank with you, though,
hearing that guy say we live paycheck to paycheck, I
did not think that. I thought the nurses got paid
like pretty good money. Yeah I don't. I think some
make some decent money, but I don't. Yeah, clearly not
all yeah, clearly.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
No.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
So anyways, we will see what happens. But you know,
I feel like maybe some of the nurses thought as
soon as it was over, we could pop back in. No, no,
you're not back. You're not allowed back in. That is
until Monday, just because of the replacement nurses. But I'm
just hoping that by Monday we have resolved because and
it really seems like it's coming down to pay. And
(07:57):
I had a couple of people write me yesterday just
saying like things for talking about it. It's if you
saw what we made, it's it's pretty embarrassing. And I's wild. Again,
that's wild. I am flabbergasted at this because again, when
we go to the hospital, we expect like the grade
A treatment, Like, well, let's pay them properly, you know,
what I'm saying. Okay, simple, I would think so, so
(08:18):
we'll we'll keep you in the loop. There. Let's move
on to Dunks. This is important. I did this at
the end of the show yesterday. Dunks was teasing its
new collab. It is finally here. The King Kylie Collection
dropped yesterday, featuring three limited time summer drinks inspired by
Kylie Jenner's iconic King Kylie era. It's very pink from
twenty fourteen. He says, yeah, it's a she wore for
(08:39):
the campaign. This super long like pink wig and she
even put it on her baby Stormy after it went
down to like Stormy's ankles. But there's three different kind
of drinks. We'll start with the Pink lemon Drop Suncloud Lemonade.
It's a cream lemonade topped with the same pink like
cold foam. There's the Vanilla Pink Cloud Latte, a twist
on a classic ice with a pink strawberry cold foam.
(09:02):
And then the last one, which is Kylie's favorite. She
said you could have eight of these.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
In a day.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
The Candy Pink Lemonade refresher a mix of pink pineapple flavors,
lemonade and dragon fruit pieces. It sounds so good. I
almost wish I knew somebody that had ordered it to
give us a review.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
I to Duncan, you look so cute.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
You've got to have a certain level of confidence to
walk into Duncan. Yes, you do the order the Kylie Jenner.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
He was like, excuse me, what for who you want
this string? And by the way, he got the large too.
Do you agree with Kylie's statement? Could you have eight
of them in a day? Are they that refreshing?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
I haven't.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
This is oh my god, this is what I'm saying.
People like to throw the You can't. It's no, it
looks it looks great. Hate using the word, but it
looks refreshing.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
It doesn't great, it does. That was the first thing
I said when I was like, what is this pink drink?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
He walked in and he only had like his body
and he was like the confidence level you have to
have to go into Dungan and order this. And then
he comes in and he's holding the Kylie drink.
Speaker 5 (10:15):
I'm like, you did it? You know what? No regrets,
not one wowow.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
In addition to that, by the way, let's just we
gotta give it to Dunks. Man. They are doing the
right collabs. They have like the best people on their
social They know what they're doing. They really are. In
addition to the King Kylie collection, they added some additional
summer menus, including new citrusy drinks and desserts like a
ice cream cake flavored donut. Jewels did ask me. He
(10:44):
was like, do you want anything from Dunks? I said,
I'm good. Did you see that on the menu? Because
you should, okay, because I'm like, you can't. You can't
leave that one out. So it's a ice cream cake
flavored donut. I gotta dry that, yeah, Like I need
to know what that tastes like.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
So if that's on the menu, next time you roll,
you know, when you when you go to get your
next whip cream Kylie drink, there is no whip cream
on that. You're a man.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Ragging.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Oh my god. All right. And lastly, I am one
hundred million trillion percent putting this in the news for
personal gain because oh my timeline was really filled with
photos videos of this specific Nigerian soccer star yesterday, Maduka Okoye,
(11:36):
And I said, who is Meduka? Because I was aching
a back. So here's what we got this. The rumor
mill is swirling right now. He who might be one
of the most beautiful men I've ever seen in my time,
was at the Jean Jean Paul Gautier fashion show. This
too fancy, No, it's crazy. And by the way, they're
(11:56):
in the midst of this heat wave. So he walks in.
Everybody's like themselves, and this moment goes viral because he's
already seated and in walks Carti. He gets up, all
six six of him, and he holds her hand and
helps her sit down in her seat. Now, during the
fashion show, not much of an interaction between the two,
but everybody was like, yo, this is a man like
(12:18):
standing up and helping her, Like, this man's not going
to duckson ordering pink drinks like he is a nab Okay. Yeah,
So he helps Cardi sit down, and then fast forward,
everyone's like everybody already thought something was popping off between
the two, but they didn't speak much the fashion show.
Fast forward, they're at some after party and they're on
a balcony and she is having herself a drink. You
(12:41):
can only see his back, but whatever he's saying to her.
She is cackling, she's giggling, she's king, Oh my god,
she's smiling at this man. So now the whole internet
is like, oh my god, like something's going on between
the two. And I pray now I said this and
I will stand on this for her. I'm like, card,
you get this, like we need this, Like do this
(13:02):
for the team, because wow, is he stunningly beautiful? For him,
I'd be like, you might not go on there. There's
a lot going on there because you're gonna have stuff
on days coming after you offset like it's she has things.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Wow, there's the thing they both no matter how they've
behaved before, when you see a man and this is
a attractive man, Oh my god, I like, oh my god,
I am straight as an arrow, and I'm like, oh
this is this is a beautiful, beautiful man. No, this
is beautiful man. There's no way they don't feel beautiful.
He is a handsome fellow, you know.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I put it this way. I think I watched so
many other videos on him after this that that he's
my whole timeline now, which it's insane. It's a beautiful day,
he guys Meduka, OK, and that's not fair. You can't
have like a cool ass name like that too. If
the if they if they are if something is going
on there. I have never supported anything more in my
(13:56):
life because I mean even even at the at the
fashion show, like she's all done up, He's sitting there
on me. Oh, no, taken aback by the beauty of
this man. This is nonsense. Are you taking your head?
J was like like, let it happen.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
No, she's going to ruin his life. Yeah, is going And.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
I agree, but I would watch all right, he needs
to know for Thursday, July ninth, don't forget. You can
call us, of course to access the show eight seven
seven six one seven, or utilize the iHeartRadio app and
leaves the talk back in the morning.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Morning in the Morning, Boston's number one for hip hop
Jammin ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Hi guys, good morning. It's Ashley and the jam In
Morning Show with Bemo the Prince. I remember once, like
when one of your first days on the show, I
was like, I've been like I've chilled in your comment
section and you really don't get anything too crazy.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
No, we've done a We've done a pretty decent job
of getting the crazes out.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Getting them out. No, you really, it's it's actually like
a very nice community of followers you have, and you lot,
like when you have a million followers, you would think
there would be some bad eggs. I don't get a
lot of hate, which is like nice. Yeah, And I
wonder why I do. I always think to myself, yeah,
(15:18):
well we don't have that much time. I always think, like,
maybe it's because I'm very opinionated. You know, I'm opinionated
on this show. But when I post things on my
social media, it's pretty much just like my life at
home or maybe some stuff from here, but it's nothing
too like crazy opinionated where I could see something like
the hell are you talking about you?
Speaker 8 (15:38):
Now?
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I think I'm more opinionated. Yeah, I'm chilling like cool.
I'm just like I don't so every once in a
while I don't post all the mean messages I get.
There was one that I will never forget, like one
of the craziest ones I ever got. I put this.
I used to put this at the number one spot,
but this woman might be taking the cake. I was
(15:59):
pregnant with late and I was eating a Dairy Queen
ice cream com and a woman wrote me and she
was like, you dumb bitch. You are kidding. She was like,
you dumb bitch, and you are killing your baby with listeria.
I can't believe you're eating a dairy queen Ice woam
coming while pregnant. And I was like, Wow, this is icotic.
I actually wanted to print it and put it on
(16:20):
my friends. I was like, this is crazy, Like I
couldn't believe that somebody. I also have said this a
million times. I don't know how people have the time
to write like mean messages to other people. Nothing makes
me feel better than to be like, oh my god,
you look so beautiful in this picture. Like I like
making people feel good. I don't know, it's so easy.
I also don't ever want the receipt, Like why don't
(16:41):
these people have respect for me and talk bad about
me to their friends like the rest of us. You
know what I mean? You don't like me, You don't
like the way I post my kids? Good point, because
it's like I talk about people sometimes, but I have
respect for them and I do it to my friends. Amen.
You know what I'm saying. Amen. So I was in
like the other do you ever go to the other
box on Instagram, so there's like there's oh, like requests
(17:06):
or whatever. There's request box and then there's hidden Oh
the hidden requests is a treasure trail. You don't want
to hit that dangerous place in there. No, every once
in a while, I'm like, do I want to dance
with the devil today? And hit the hidden button? Sure.
I don't know how they get hidden. I don't know
if that's Instagram being like I'm protecting you. I'm doing
my best. I don't know how. But sometimes I hit
(17:28):
the hidden button and you guys go to my Instagram
at Ashley Felmon tweets on the Ashley but I hit
the hidden button and I found Kailanie Kilannie joy. She
has no joy in her life. Zero. So the first
response she has is the picture of Leila. I went
to pick up the Budweiser bund yesterday from Facebook marketplace.
That was amazing. Picked it up at Mona and Braintree
ate their food ten out of ten. But anyways, she
(17:51):
comments back to the picture of Laila, and she said,
it's funny you're even posting her because I swore you
only had the one child that looks like you and
you're still breastfeeding after two years, like when she can
walk up and ask to grab your I'm gonna call
it a boob, but she used the T word with
her words, it's time to effing cut it like it's gross. Now,
come on, how do you not think that's disgusting? And
(18:13):
the way that you favor her over your older daughter,
that's also disgusting. Too fast forward, She now is responding
to a video of Daisy and I, and she says,
there it is again, the boob sucking queen.
Speaker 9 (18:28):
That's why will I go home and only refer to
Daisy as the boob sucking queen? Most likely, she said,
your older daughter must know for sure that you love
the younger one more. It's fun, I like to the internet,
how could I not be to her? And hey, I'm
reading it verbatim, and hey, maybe she could breastfeed too.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Maybe that's the issue. I honestly think it is because
your younger one looks like you, and that's why you
effing favor her. But damn, man, I feel so bad
for your firstborn, like you post way less pictures of her.
It's just so obvious you favor the younger one and
the older one is just your effing side piece. Oh
my god. First of all, I think they both look
like you, which is crazy you, but yeah, just truly gross.
(19:11):
How much you favor Daisy Poor Leila. She's definitely going
to have issues with this when she gets older. I
hope you're ready to pay the therapist bill. You're probably
still be favoring Daisy. Hell, you still might even be
breastfeeding her. Hell is a lie. She thought she got
(19:31):
thirty three followers, and then she put her phone down
and was like, good, got even got her? God let
that bitch. No, I did the Lord's work. How bored
can you be? And now I'm almost saying it, And
I'm almost wondering because I had a little beef with
a lady from Marshfield a couple of weeks, So I'm now, yeah,
I do I have internet beef. You haven't been here
(19:52):
one week. I'm in multiple wars, Like, I wonder if
it's the Marshall lady so mad that I told people
that the donuts were good at coffee Shack, that she
created this account to tell me that I'm a bad mom.
I don't I'm sure this is What have you done?
What are you doing? Guys? I don't know, stop posting
pictures of the kids like I and so then I
guess maybe she has a tally at home. And so
(20:14):
if I post Leyla, she puts like the little strikeer.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Down like it's like he and hey, arnold, she's got
like a shrine. She's doing it again?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
What Daisy? The boob sucking queen is wild work? To me.
I couldn't believe it. When I saw this, I was like, man,
I just again, you want to like talk bad about
me and send it to one of your thirty three followers.
I like, I don't know why you're why we have
to send it to me? Like half respect. We all
(20:47):
talk about people once in a while. I'm not like,
I'm not above that, but I will like I'm sending it.
I'm sending it to my friend Casey because I respect.
And what did she think you were?
Speaker 10 (20:55):
Like?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
What's gonna happen from sending that? Am I gonna?
Speaker 10 (20:58):
Am?
Speaker 1 (20:58):
I gonna read that and be like, right, you know
what I'm getting the boob sucking queen off the.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Sucking Like, thank you for sending that? Yeah, my god,
this was so sweet.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
I thank you so glad we did this, And I
am going to stop breastfeeding Daisy, which, by the way, guys,
huge news. She's only down to one suck a day,
which is big. That's really she's only sucking one time
at night. And somebody tell Kailannie Joy that because I mean, what,
how crazy? I That's what I'm saying. You're very fortunate.
(21:27):
How do you have like literally quite a million more
followers than me and you're not getting messages like this?
What do I do?
Speaker 2 (21:32):
I have never gotten one that aggressive? Yeah, holy smokes.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Yeh, stop starting beefs. Get off the internet. I think
she needs a little breast milk in her life. Very sweet,
Daphne Joy, if you're listening, I might have some frozen
supply left Kailani Yeah, yeah, who is Daphne Show?
Speaker 3 (21:55):
And you need to know we got you three things
you need to know on Bustin's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags?
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Do you haven't any four? Five? We all live.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Paycheck to paycheck, so mass general. But have you thinking
that we're here getting paid you know, a fortune and
dripping in dollars.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
All we're asking for is fair pay.
Speaker 6 (22:14):
We know inflation's gone up a lot, and we haven't
gotten any rais is all we're looking for is just
cost of living.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
That's it. That's it. Not a big ask. I certainly
don't think so. Thursday, July ninth, and that was a
few of the nurses outside of bringing them in Women's
Hospital as they are on a strike. Over four thousand
nurses stepped out. And the crazy thing is it is
the largest nurses strike in Massachusetts history. It began yesterday
(22:43):
at around seven am, and it is just concluding now.
I don't know if necessarily that means cocluding in a
sense of like they're going to leave the outside of
the hospital because they are now officially locked out for
the next four days. I had said this earlier. I
see it in all the articles. Basically, the hospital had
to hire thirteen hundred temporary replacement nurses roughly to kind
(23:04):
of make sure things still go at the hospital. And
the way they're contractually and all of that works is
they have to work for five days to honor their
minimum contract, meaning the nurses, even though they may be
done striking for the day, can't just like pop back
into their lockers and like go grab a chart y.
It's not that was a very general hospital of me,
(23:24):
but I'm serious, like they're out until these contracted nurses leave.
And I had mentioned this earlier because A this is
what I'm reading. B this is all over the news.
But I did get a DM from somebody she said,
ash about to strike. The hospital has insurance the hospital
will not lose money if they send the temporary nurses packing.
But the hospital is literally just punishing us, the nurses
(23:44):
right now. That's crazy. That's why are we not? I
hate that.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
It's always these jobs me too, the people who like
have like the selfless jobs that are focused on us
and helping us.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Yeah, and they always end up getting screwed over. It's
like every single time, it's the end of August, beginning
of September and I see a nurse post like can
you help me with my Amazon wishless? And it's like chalk.
I'm like, yeah, the school, but that's the teachers don't
make enough money. They can't go into their own bank
because they don't have the funds. The nurses don't have
the funds. And here I am, like the first nurse said,
(24:20):
you know, people think we're dripping in the mic. I
am people I thought nurses.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Made because that's an insanely stressful job.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Yeah, I'm not playing all of that.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
I wipe nobody's body, none of.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
The things you have to know. I mean, imagine the
nurse and the er. Like, Ah, I watched the It's crazy.
I want to watch that that by the way, I
watched the We're gonna talk about the second and that
when that's always nominated A ton and fun fact about
that show, I've heard that it all takes place in
the exact same day.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
It's one it's one shift and like that's uh Noah Wiley,
the star of it, his mom was a nurse and
she's and he was on ear. She said that this
show hits her so hard because it's it feels real, lifelike,
and so if you watch it, it's obviously not really nurses,
but it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
So if that is the case and you watch that show,
does it make sense to you that they're getting paid
b mum wage? No it doesn't. No, Yeah, that's that's
exactly my point. Obviously here at Bringman Women's they are
stuck on this pay and I'm really hoping they get
to the bottom of it and get our nurses back
in there. I did have a I don't want to
make it sad. But I did have a woman write
me yesterday and she said her and her daughter had
(25:31):
spent so much time at bringingman women's I'm not sure
what was ailing her daughter, but she essentially said that
the nurses became like family to her and it makes
her sick that they weren't paid. Yeah, and they're not paid,
and so hopefully this can get figured out, because we
need our nurses to be happy. Hello. All right, let's
speaking of the Emmy's. Let's talk about a couple of
people that got a few fifty cents Netflix doc Sean
(25:52):
Comb's The Rerecting. I still haven't watched that doc. Didn't
it really?
Speaker 5 (25:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:56):
It was wild? Didn't Did you see it?
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Because I don't like fifty To be honest with you,
I don't like.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
It's a lot. Did you? I'm sure you already kind
of had a felt type of way going into it.
But then after having watched the doc where you like,
I'm not going to a freak off.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah, yes, exactly that, I was like, wow, and I
used to be like such a bad boy did he bop?
Speaker 5 (26:18):
Kind of?
Speaker 1 (26:19):
And then watching this, I was like, oh, I hate
all of that. Yeah, it's a lot. He received three
Emmy nooms for the twenty twenty six Emmy Awards, including
Outstanding doc or Non Fiction Series, Outstanding Directing, and Outstanding
Picture Editing. Ajewels to your point, like this is just
what a guy like fifty needs. That man doesn't need
(26:40):
blown up anymore. I saw this, I was like, oh,
we are in four it. He is actually in my
top three of people like he could send me the
same exact messages that this woman did and I wouldn't
put it in my Instagram store. I don't want the smoke.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, I don't like he will.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
He will look up like my grandma's jed sister's cousin. Yeah,
Like I don't. I don't want to play that game.
Bad Bunny also receiving a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for
Outstanding Variety Special for the Live Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Very well deserved an absolute performance.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
It was so good.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
This one didn't shock me at all. Should we loop
those and I'll do one more? Yeah, let's do it
just so I can talk about the hot soccer player.
His name is Mendungah oh coy ye. I am hoping
your phone hears me. Ladies, all right, he is a
Nigerian soccer star and he flooded my timeline yesterday. So
(27:34):
I'd like to say specifically thank you to Cardi for it.
So basically, Cardi is it a fashion show. He is
there first, he's already seated. They're in the midst of
a heat wave. Everybody's like, they're fanning themselves in. She
walks and she was like, god, it was the Jean
Paul Gotier show. She walks in, he's already seated. He
stands up, takes her hand and helps her get seated.
(27:56):
Now everybody's like, oh my god, gentleman, exactly, something's going on.
Chi is not dead. That one. To me, I was like, oh,
that's nice, but he probably just did that because he's
being polite. Yeah, fast forward though, that's that's the one
that's going The two of them are atop like a
balcony at an after party. For sure. You can only
see his back, all six six of him.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
And you see her face and she's drinking her what
looks to be like champagne. She is like oogly eyes
over this man. As by she's smiling at him, she's laughing.
We don't know, we don't know what he's saying, but
you know it's not funny. She's pretending for sure. She's like,
whatever you say, I will laugh at it. I I ammediately.
I haven't hit. I'm not a big like follow like,
(28:41):
it's gotta be something for me to follow you because
I guess like you're gonna pop up on my algow. Anyway,
I couldn't have hit. My little thumb was like, I
could have been faster to see this all of his
I don't even care what he posts. I just want
to see him. He is that beautiful. You guys like
I was taken aback and we said this earlier for Cardi.
I'm like, for it, queen, I mean, please do this
(29:02):
for us for him. No, she got We'll leave it
at that. We'll leave it at that. All right, then
it's three things you need to know for Thursday and July ninth.
We talked about this show Neo and Akon. I think
we can go ahead and guarantee these two are gonna
not only put on a show, but they'll be there there.
They're not gonna off the little Wayne eight seven seven
six one seven five eight seven seven six one seven
(29:24):
twenty five. You are going but even more importantly, you're
qualifying for the Grand Prize, which is to be upgraded
to the floor. Good luck. Sadly show.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Boston's number one for hip hop he am in ninety
four five.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Oh my god, guys, Yes, I'll never forget this one. Yes,
turn it up. Oh no, Scott.
Speaker 11 (29:48):
Yeah wait till that beat Roby, I was Scottish, Like
I mean it was, you know, the Targan Army literally
took over this city.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
And I think you know today speaking of is the
last World Cup game here at Boston Stadium. And when
we say like, oh, we're so sad, it's going like
we're specific here when we say this, I mean we're
talking about the Scottish and they've been gone. They went
to Miami and then they were back to Scotland and
it's it was so sad when they left. And I
love nothing made me happier when they were in Miami
(30:22):
and people were asking them what do you like better,
Miami or Boston, and they were all.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Like Boston, they said too, I know they were talking
about they were like Boston's fabulous.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
It was a match made in heaven. It was like
it was just such a whirlwind and like my single
girlfriends were like, yo, I'm going out to try to
find the Tartan Army, like because not just to like
hook up, but more so because being with them so
it seemed it was like going to the best party
there was. Yes, they were all just so happy to
be here. They spent all their dollars to do it,
(30:53):
and oh it was just such a time. And I
mean the running joke obviously was that in nine months
there's gonna be a lot of Scottish babies running around Boston.
But I hadn't never had anybody write me and be
like no, ash, like I actually hooked up with a
Scottish person while they were here, and I'm in love.
Well well, well over the last week or so, I've
(31:14):
gotten this Instagram sent to me and it's like a
picture of this beautiful woman and this little like redheaded
Scottish man and the heading and the title of the
article was like Boston woman falls in love with Scottish
man and she's moving to Scotland. And I was like, yo,
this is Ai. I don't trust anything on the internet.
So the last person that sends to me, I was like,
(31:35):
I actually think this is Ai. She's like, oh, honey,
I've I have done my research for you. It's not Ai,
it's actually Jill. Here is her Instagram. So then, of
course I do my due diligence and I hop over
to Jill's Instagram and I'm scrolling back and she has
this one video I'm gonna play it for you right
here that has millions of views. She actually was leaving
(31:57):
a Pride event at Fenway Park. She runs into this
Scottish man with bright orange hair and they have this
little exchange.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
Tommy, Tommy, how do you like Boston?
Speaker 1 (32:10):
What do you what do you love about? Tommy loves
me about That's so nice? All right, What's what's some
advice you have for Americans right now in the time
we're living, and give it. Give us some good Scottish advice.
Speaker 10 (32:22):
Don't puck, don't pick the scabs up, I mean, I
pick advice.
Speaker 7 (32:26):
Why don't.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
She's like, okay, don't pick the scabs. She don't even
know where to go from that now, mind you. That's
the video, right, hundreds and I mean hundreds of comments
and they're all like, yo, these two are going to
fall in love like this is it? Like this is happening? Oh?
I mean the comments are crazy, and Jill, it seems
like the comments proved you right, girlfriend, because we found
(32:50):
Scottish love. We found Scottish love in a hopeless place.
Speaker 10 (32:57):
Yeah, you know, I want to just kick it. Could
often say no, there will be no baby boom from me.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
And nine months I was hoping. I was hoping. But
you know that was the big rumor, right that, like
all these guys came and there's gonna be all these babies.
And I'm like, I see the rumors and we're all
giggling and laughing. But I didn't actually know anybody who
really like may have fallen in love with a Scottish
man until I now met you.
Speaker 10 (33:23):
You know, Ashley, you splid into my dms. You want
the dirt, Let's do this.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
And by the way, speaking of tea, there is a
lot of it. So of course I do this deep
dive into you and I'm like, oh, well, you know,
she's a whole lesbian like a month ago, and now
the Scottish people are coming in your you know, they're fighting.
They're like, wait a second, are you are you faking
it with our Scottish man? Like this isn't right, Like people,
we're coming at you a little bit, and you're like, well, listen,
(33:50):
I just you know, yes, I've been with women, but
that doesn't mean I can't, you know, love a man
as well, So tell us everything, right.
Speaker 10 (33:57):
You know, It's just like it's an educational moment for
the world here, you know, Yeah, no, I was. I
was married to a man for ten years, kids, the
whole thing. And then the last the last six years,
I've been a lot more fluid as as we should be.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Guys.
Speaker 10 (34:11):
It's twenty twenty six. Let's let's frig in, let's figure
it out. You know who you love and exactly that's
what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
Love is love.
Speaker 10 (34:19):
But yeah, no, I I met Tommy very unexpectedly out
on the streets of Boston after a Pride event where
I was legitimately like I was there hanging out on
the Sam Adams floor looking for the ladies, you know, open.
Speaker 8 (34:31):
Singles, whatever has happened, and then.
Speaker 10 (34:35):
You know, I mean a guy in a skirt and
you're like, wow.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
This is perfect. I can flirt a little and it's
like kind of one. You know, now that video that
I played was that your initial time meeting who's now
known as Boston Oh, my god, Wow, that's wild.
Speaker 10 (34:54):
Yeah I was. We were just kind of yeah, I
ran into him and some of his other because people
were like, oh, you going to meet this guy. It
wasn't blown up then like Friday night there. That was
just when people.
Speaker 8 (35:04):
Were starting to say, oh my god, the Scottish or everywhere,
they're so entertained, they're so fun.
Speaker 10 (35:07):
They bring all.
Speaker 8 (35:08):
This joy and ridiculousness and they just threw otherir cares
away and just have so much fun.
Speaker 10 (35:14):
I had no idea about.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
Any of that.
Speaker 10 (35:16):
And literally the only Scottish person I hung out was
was Tommy. Like I met a few of his friends
right before that video happened, but we were just walking
back to the car and they were going to with
the t So it's just.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
That's crazy. So that video happens, that video pops like
millions of views, and everyone's like, well they're getting married,
like this is going to end in love. That day happens,
How soon after did you see Tommy? And then were
you pretty much with him every day while he was here?
Speaker 10 (35:42):
So so yeah, the video popped off and we left.
We didn't exchange numbers.
Speaker 8 (35:47):
Or anything, so I pussed on low.
Speaker 10 (35:51):
Yeah, as soon as I walked away. I was telling
my my friends there, which again all part of the
LGBTQ community. I was like, if I was still into dudes,
that would be my type. He's so funny.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Oh but everyone, come on.
Speaker 10 (36:05):
Someone commented on my on my TikTok that they used
to date Tommy way back in the day, and they're like, oh,
I can totally endorse. He's a good guy. And so
I was trying to, you know, be cool, and I
was like, oh, my friends would love to hang out
with his friends again.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Maybe sure. I like that, not trying to look too thirsty,
not trying to look too aggressive, putting it on your friends.
Speaker 10 (36:27):
Why would I?
Speaker 1 (36:28):
Yep?
Speaker 10 (36:28):
Actually why would?
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Oh you wouldn't. This is I loved I love this play.
This is called game, Joe. This is called game. So
you get the info, then do you reach out?
Speaker 10 (36:35):
Got the info? And then yep. I messaged him on
WhatsApp and then we've just like been We started texting
like kind of NonStop, and I told him, I said, listen,
I know you've got your soccer game, football, big big
football game against Morocco. I've got a gig that night.
If you want to come over and see my band afterwards,
like so.
Speaker 8 (36:53):
Freaking cheesy, but that's what I was doing. And he did.
So they lost the Morocco game, and then he took.
Speaker 10 (36:58):
Like one hundred and twenty dollars uber back to Marlborough.
My band play.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Jesus, this is.
Speaker 11 (37:08):
It.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
So he comes there and then he has to sadly
go to Miami because that's where the Scots were.
Speaker 8 (37:14):
Right, So we did have a day or two to
hang out, and so we hung out in Boston, went
to Daniel Hall all the things, and he flew.
Speaker 10 (37:23):
To Miami and then he was already going to do
and I like like to lie and say he came
back to Boston for two days before going back to Scotland,
but he didn't. He already had plans to go to
Boston before his plate. So he had another two days
after Miami where he was just going to explore the city.
And so we hung out.
Speaker 8 (37:39):
Instead and I took him to Top Call.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Was exploring some things with you, my god. So now,
first off, this article, I'm sure you've seen it. I
didn't like click the link. I just see this headline
that's like Boston woman moving to Scotland. Now that's not true. Yeah, no,
come you know, yeah that is not true. But do
we have plans to go to Scotland? And are you
(38:05):
guys still in contact? And are we doing like good
morning and good night? Give me where are we?
Speaker 8 (38:10):
I mean, if I didn't wake up to a good morning,
beautiful text? Why come on?
Speaker 1 (38:18):
They know what they're doing. Let's go.
Speaker 10 (38:20):
They go, Wow, I'm gonna be I'm gonna go out
to Scotland because you know what, guys, why I'm forty two.
Speaker 8 (38:27):
Life is short.
Speaker 10 (38:28):
Yeah, we've all been through enough no matter how things go, Like,
our connection is genuine Like I know I'm being goofy
with you guys, but at the end of the day,
life is short, and we're we have a real connection
and it's really nice and we're just we're not putting
any pressure on It's funny, like it feels like the
whole world's watching, but we genuinely don't feel like there's
any pressure to do anything, to share anything, to not
(38:49):
share anything. We're just having a great time and exploit
how things go and the community. Honestly, as much as
we're all joking the community that we've found in Boston
with Scotland as well as I'm finding in the comments
of our videos. It's just people are here for uh
for for real connection and love and support, and there's
(39:10):
a ton of humor there, but there's also just like
cultural exchange and it's really it's really fun.
Speaker 8 (39:17):
And it's it's nice and genuine.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
It is Graham No, because you know what, I go away.
You posted that first video and then you didn't even
get his number. It was like you posted and it
was the Internet that was like, no, we see something
that they're not honey, like you too, there's something happenings
exchange and you got the internet. You got the number
from the Internet. And talking about game recognizing game, you
(39:39):
said to him, what's your favorite thing in Boston and
he said you like, well, when we obviously we will
post a clip of this interview today and I'll tag
you in it. But miss Jill. Miss Jill is your
Instagram handle miss j I l L miss again, m
I S s jail j I l L. If you
guys want to follow along their loved because it is
(40:00):
it is interesting. It's like it's like, hey, guys, I'm
I'm coming out. Here's like my pride journey. Oh, all
of a sudden, I ran to the Scottish guy and
then it's like, hey, here we are like feeding each
other wings and we're then I just.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Asked that I get the movie rights to write the script.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Can you please? I have I just I gotta know.
Do I say? I love you, guys? I love you.
It's to you.
Speaker 10 (40:26):
I listen, longtime listener, dam ninety four five. You guys
are amazing, Like.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
I digress and I'm not gonna answer. That's fine. Do
you has this? Has the ticket been bought for Scotland
or is it just in the in the works or
did you do we have a physical ticket?
Speaker 10 (40:43):
Physical ticket?
Speaker 1 (40:44):
When are we leaving?
Speaker 10 (40:45):
Yeah, I'm heading no end of August.
Speaker 8 (40:48):
We'll be there for like four or five.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
Oh this, I can't wait, Joe. I will tag you
so everybody can follow along. I can't wait to see
what Boston Tommy has for you, know, in store for
you when you get to the Motherlands. That is going
to be a time.
Speaker 10 (41:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Wow, Well I can tell you what a lot of
my single friends are listening to this. Just jealous as hell.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
There.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I wanted I wanted to Jill love story. They wanted
the Jill love story. And they're mad because they're like
I'm not even a lesbian. I'm actually damn it.
Speaker 10 (41:16):
That's the deal. There was no trying. It was just like,
you know, you gotta you gotta live your life.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
Fell in your Atlantic, telling your.
Speaker 10 (41:23):
Laughing, open to things, but not make it happen, you know,
and everybody get a friend and get a therapist. We
need help.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Yeah, Jill, thank you so much for joining us. No Scotland,
no party. I will We're gonna have to get you
back on after your trip. Wait wait to hear about it. Seriously,
thank you so much. We appreciate it. Oh my god,
it's amazing. She's like literally living out the dreams and
that's a world Cup and it's like, obviously I have
(41:54):
nine seconds here. There's only one joke to end this with,
like how is a j still loves?
Speaker 10 (41:59):
That was a.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
For lesbians and found amand like you haven't eighty four
or five? It is Ashley Bimo the Prince. Yeah it is.
It's done. Now we are friends with Jill m h.
She she and I are kind of going back and
forth and she was like that was just so fun,
just like shooting the you know what with you too,
and I go, yeah, bemo, and I actually just said
we want to be friends with THEO want to know you,
like I need.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
To know as soon as I saw her Instagram looks
like the funnest person ever.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
No she yeah, and like and you're you're so right.
You got to get writing on this because what a
flick that could be, What a meet cute? It's perfect.
What we can include the World Cup in it. It's
like Scotland, it's Boston. No, it's some to day. Also,
I think, really though, like this, this is going a
little bit deeper on it. But this is why you
(42:47):
can't trust the news. Think about it. The article that
was sent to me. The headline read Boston woman moving
to Scotland after finding love. Like, no, she's not. She's
going on a four day visit and obviust which is
so fun and we're so excited.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
But you got to read the artic which also how
easy was that to just the truth?
Speaker 1 (43:05):
I mean, seriously, why couldn't we have just wrote a
woman finds love during World Cup. I mean, that's that's
way closer to the truth than what it is. But yeah,
Bimo was just like, go because you can go down
a rabbit hole on her Instagram, she's Okay, she's fun,
but she was like she was onto other things vagina
and this quite literally fell in her lap. But if
you watch the video of them that went viral, it's
(43:28):
so clear, very so cool.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
I didn't see the video before until after we talked
to her, and I was like, oh, this girl, how
did you not.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
There's no question he was trying to spit game and
then question, there's a moment she looks back at him
and I was like, that's it. Yes, And they have
these like the they their smiles to each other. It
was like something was popping off and guess what the
Internet knew. The Internet aunties were like, let me hop
in here and say, you two will have a relationship,
like something's gonna happen between the two of you, and
it was we were all like living for this because
(43:57):
that was that was whatever was talking about. Like all
the single galleons. I saw girls on Instagram doing like
fit check going to try to meet a Scottish man,
like really like they were trying. Like this woman was
like I'm with women like I'm not even giving it
a go, and then she rolls up on love man,
and let's be honest, they definitely say I love you.
Speaker 5 (44:17):
I didn't confirm and deny, but she they wouldn't be confirmed.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
They're saying love and they've known each other for seven seconds.
But I love that I love and now so Tod
they I know. So we'll make sure we get that
video up with with Jill today. But I just I
feel so saddened for all of my single friends because
they were really out there, like I did have one
have a makeout slash.
Speaker 5 (44:40):
Stop saying single friends. It's just one person that you're
talking about.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
I wish AJ had, I wish I would give anything
to me talking about AJ saying AJ had to make
up first off, No, no.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
No, no, no, I mean stop saying that.
Speaker 7 (44:53):
You're you're talking about your single friends, you know, but
you're talking about AJ, not not the makeout sash.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
We no agent.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
Okay. It was like whoa, whoa, whoa wo Yeah, but
let's be honest, like she wasn't she wasn't going out
for the.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Scott Yeah, why weren't you out with the Scotts? Have
their sea through all right?
Speaker 1 (45:12):
Fair? They forgot that the red hair, there's what she
wants and then there's the Scotts, Like opposite ends of
the spectrum. You're right, Hi guys, good morning. It is
Ashley and the jam in morning show. We're coming out
of Chris Brown song, so it's only fitting that I
talk about Sea Breezy here. Bimo. Have you been following
(45:32):
along with any of the content from the Usher and
Chris Brown shows? So it's funny.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
I was gonna say no because I hadn't seen a
thing about it until last night. It was Usher doing
his twitch dance and it looked very he he's aged,
and it did not. He's not the way.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
That there's a little chatter about that, but like Chris
is making Usher look older, but like he is. There's
also been a joking chatter that Usher's not even on
the tour because all of the commentary is about Chris
and what he's doing with these women on stage. Oh no,
I don't know if Usher has well because Chris has
(46:15):
a specific song, take You Down, And when he does
take You Down, he takes a woman down and he
really just he gives his of his body, he gives
tongue like I'm not even kidding. So it's been like
this crazy thing because some of the women he's been
taking down are whole married or have a boyfriend. And
(46:38):
so finally Chris stopped down the show the other day
and was like, can y'all stop bringing your husbands to
this show?
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Can you stop.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Bringing your boyfriends? Because I'm not he said. He's like,
I'm not trying to fight, Like I don't want to fight.
I want you to come up here, like I pretend
to have sexuals with you. We have a good time
and there's no drama. But it seems like all these
girls after you know it happens, they are married, are
they and they're kissing the man.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
I mean, all right, bro, don't be mad at the
husband's stop bringing your husbands.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
I mean maybe the husbands are okaying this behavior. I
don't know. But like there was one female in particular,
and he was like licking her side and then they
kissed on the mouth, and after everybody like she went
viral and everyone was like, this woman is married, and
she was like, we were putting on a show. Like
she kind of was acting like like she understood the assignment, like, oh,
I was just putting on a show. We're living out
(47:28):
a lot of girls dreams up there is what you
were doing. But Chris is like one hundred percent feeding
into all this. He loves it. It's what I mean,
this is what you want, right, everybody's talking about it.
He's even stopped down with one fan who was like, basically,
she's going to the show, and he was helping her
try to get the next day off to your husband
(47:53):
brought you to this show.
Speaker 5 (47:55):
This, I'm creasy that I could want.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
This was a whole different clip. This was the clip
that I was referring to. This was not what I
thought we had in the system, but that that's what
he was saying. I don't want your husband, But there
was a separate clip that I wanted where he basically
was like he just he gets it now and he
knows like the chatter. So he was like essentially asking,
you know everybody who's employed at certain but you have
to let the ladies have off the day after our tour,
Like you have to let them get after it with
(48:25):
me and let them head off. That's why Sarah don't
need to be going the show. This is why I'm
not lett my wife come to the show. That's a
smart man. That's a smart man, because she you know,
she would have to like give into the performance of
it all
