Speaker 1 (00:00):
I every Bobby, good morning, Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Listen, we are going to ride out the rest of
the week. Just a little menu tease for you.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Today. Key is going to.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Come back and join us. We love having Key on
the show. He'll be here in just about an hour. Wednesday,
I will not be here. I have some kids school
like tour things to do, so I'll be doing that,
which is exciting.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
I can't believe. I can't believe this kid is going
to school, like what?
Speaker 2 (00:33):
And then Thursday, Friday, I shall be back and Bemo
will join us towards the end of the week. The
big story today, guys, is the heat. Like it is
going to be hot. And every time it's hot, I
read these articles and I see them being like these
are the things you need to do in the heat,
And I'm.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Like, who the hell does it know this?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Who doesn't know that you should be hydrating and staying inside.
I don't know, but I guess everyone needs to be reminded.
So we'll do the news next and I will remind
you what you need to be doing when it's hot.
But the thing is is you might have looked at
your phone and been like, ah, temps are in the
nineties not that serious. But later this afternoon they may
be in the nineties, but the humidity is going to
push them up.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Into the hundreds.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
So if in facts you know somebody like elderly or something,
they're living in a house without AC let's check on
nan M pop up. Make sure we're checking in on
nan M pop up today. Other than that, Hi, hope,
did it missed anything big overnight? And if I did,
they're calling me.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Good morning, especially ended Jami in Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Bustin's Number one for hip
Hop and the best Throwbacks you haven't eighty four to.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Five all right, Honey's Tuesday, July fourteenth, and a heat
advisory is in effect today from eleven am to Wednesday
at eight pm, So basically we have eleven a till
tomorrow nights for much of.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Southern New England. Like I was just saying, you might
look at.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Your phone and be like, eh, upper nineties, like we've
been here before, But that humidity is gonna be tough,
and it is gonna make it feel like it is
anywhere between one hundred and one hundred and three degrees
both days. We're in the heat wave, honey temps Like
I said, Hi, but that humidity is gonna be bad.
So they're advising everybody to hydrate, have a location with
(02:22):
adequate cooling, and take frequent breaks if you're working outside.
If you are working outside, I want you to be
careful because that is gonna be nuts. Listen, this isn't
a complaint. Like it's summertime and we get it.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
But it's been hot out there.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Like it's been hot. I'm ready for the fall time.
Maybe that's just me, So just be careful. Eleven am
tomorrow to eight pm. It's eleven am today to eight
pm tomorrow. It's just like it's gonna be hot, and
all the usuals.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Don't put your.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Kids in the car and leave them. Don't put your
dogs in the car and leave them. If you know
someone that doesn't have ACM and you do, maybe offer
for them to crash on your couch. Just be smart.
He's your brain, all right.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Lindsay Clancy's husband.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Is set to testify in her defense, even though she
is on trial for murdering their three young children. I'm
sure by now you remember me discussing or you've seen
on the news the Duxbury mother who was accused of
killing her kids, Cora five, Dawson three, and eight month
old Callan. Remember she had asked hubs to go pick
(03:27):
up dinner when he did that, you know, she had
This one's so hard for me to report on, like
every time I get she had killed the kids with
elastic workout bands in her Duxbury home. So obviously he
has been very I guess maybe not obviously to some,
(03:49):
but he has been very defensive of her. And he,
you know, he immediately filed a wrongful lawsuit against his
wife's healthcare providers, basically saying that by the time she
had taken the children's lives, she was on nine different medications.
She suffered from postpartum she suffered from postpartum psychosis, and
(04:12):
I remember reading that she said there was a singular
male voice that told her it was time to do
what she needed to do so she could take the
kids with her. She obviously also tried to end her
own life by throwing herself out of the second story window.
She did not succeed in that, and she is paralyzed
as a result of her jump. So every time we
(04:33):
see her inside of the courtroom. She's in a wheelchair.
But yeah, I mean shortly after this happened. Maybe not shortly,
but probably within like six months to a year, he
had written an article I want to say it was
for The Times in defense of her and just how
amazing of a mother she was until she started suffering
from this postparton psychosis, and she was just a different
(04:56):
person than she brutally killed her children. But he has
always stood by her, and he has always been very
defensive of that, and so it does not shock me
in the least to see that he is on the
witness list and he will take the stand for her defense.
Her trial, by the way, kicks off very shortly July
the twentieth. The judge, by the way, in that case,
(05:18):
I was just reading up on it this morning. Her
defense wanted to put some other women on the stand
that have, in fact, also, you know, gone through postpartum psychosis,
but the judge denied that and said, if you can find,
you know, an expert on postpartum psychosis, I'm willing to
have them on the stand, but I'm not going to
take you know, some random woman's word that well, this
(05:40):
is what happens to me. So this must have been
what happened to Lindsay Clancy again. Her trial kicks off
on July the twentieth.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I will keep you posted.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Lastly, and a little bit of a lighter note, Adidas
and Bad Bunny are launching a new low profile sneaker
inspired by the two thousand and four F fifty Spider Khalete.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It's called the F fifty Ghost Sprint. It's gonna come out.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Right ahead of the twenty twenty six World Cup Final.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
It's not a sneaker for me. I'm gonna be honest
with you. It's not a sneaker from me.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
But it does draw some inspiration from Puerto Rico's native
wolf spider. I look that thing up and now I
feel itchy. Known for its speed, which aligns it with
the sneaker's name, and obviously its concept, it's known for
its flexibilities, stability, breathe ability. Color wise, it features shades
of clear blue, clear sky, and light purple with hints
(06:30):
of neon yellow. The sneaker is gonna be positioned as
both a lifestyle and a performance footwear. It is available
July eighteenth, that's this Saturday, for a cool one hundred
and sixty doll hairs.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Not for me, but it is cool for somebody who
could pull it off.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
That is three things you need to know for Tuesday,
July fourteenth. Don't forget Babes when you are listening via
the app. I want you to put us as your
number one presep because I'm trying to beat Kissed every
single day of my life and you're already there listening anyway.
So adis as your number one presect.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Dashy in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Show Bustin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety
four or five.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Hi guys, good morning, It's Ashley the jam In Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
I know that it has sparked some controversy on this
show when I have said in the past that the
fireman and I have separate bank accounts. I don't want
that man to know what I'm buying because I did.
I'm so I'm so tired of the comments of like.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Oh, there's two more packages outside for you. Oh mommy
got another package. Shut up, looks like Mommy's ordering more packages.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
It's like, listen, you don't need to know what I'm buying,
but know that the things that I'm buying are essential
to the house.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
And the well being of this home.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I feel like, I mean, I thought a lot of
moms probably say this, but I had. I was listening
to the intro of the of the show to and
I'm like, I don't even know the last time I
bought a pair of sneakers for myself. Not to say
I don't buy things for myself, because of course I do,
but my mind is more so like what do the
kids need?
Speaker 1 (08:04):
You know? Could I buy this to decorate the house?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Like?
Speaker 1 (08:07):
What is the house need?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
I feel like I'm feeding the house and feeding the
kids before I'm feeding myself. We're going on a family
vacation next week, and I was like, damn, I have
only about the kids things, so's say you know what
I'm saying. But yet this man still has comments to make.
So I get home yesterday and at Ashley Fell them
in two. He's on the Ashley so you can get
(08:30):
a visual again. Comments are made to me about the
things that I'm buying. They're frivolous that we don't need them.
Why am I buying them? I go into the kitchen
and above the sink there is an like acrylic clear
looking bird feeder that is attached to the kitchen sink
(08:50):
window obviously on the outside, and it's filled with bird food.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
And I was like, you know what, I know this
man is since heirs. First off, you guys.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Had to scale the roof to get down to the
area to put it on the window.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
All right, you're risking your life out here for what
So that happens. I see this and I immediately am like,
what are we doing.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
He's like, Oh, it's gonna be so cool when we know,
And it's like, listen, I want to support these I
want to support these purchases. But I'm I'm constantly being
ridiculed for the amount of boxes at the house. But
yet now you can scale the roof and go out
here and buy a acrylic bird feeder.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Like that, That's okay.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
The amount of extra bird food we have in our
home we could feed a robin for the next six years.
The bag is so massive. I'm like, what, I'm really
really trying to understand this. Now. Remember we're coming off
the owl house now, we're coming off the owl house
purchase from a couple months ago when he got on
the ladder and climbed up a tree and nailed in
(09:58):
an owl house. Now I'm trying to be patient with
that one, because I thought that was stupid too. Buddy said, hey,
taxt a couple of years, if we can get an
owl family in here, they're gonna help us with rodents.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
So he sold me on that.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
The bird feeder outside of the kitchen window, there's gonna.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Be poop everywhere, on the on the roof. Who's cleaning that?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
I mean, what bird is gonna fly into this thing
that I am gonna be so taken about.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
A hawk's not gonna do it. A hawk's not gonna
fly to now, mind you.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Also on my Instagram, I saw a hawk, a red
tailed one outside of my house yesterday. Something about those things. Man,
I got like lost with that bird. I was really
watching to see what he was gonna kill.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
But what bird am I really seeing? Flying?
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Like?
Speaker 1 (10:40):
A red robin? A blue jay? I can't a do
you know another bird of than a red robin? In
a blue jay? Am I missing?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Any?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Like?
Speaker 1 (10:46):
What other ones are there? Hummingbird? A hummingbird that's with
the long beak. That's all I got.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
So I'm saying, like, if one of the big three
aren't flying up to this thing, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
But you know what's so crazy about you guys.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
The amount of maybe people that don't listen to the show,
but maybe people just follow me on social me the
amount of people that wrote to me and they were like,
this is such an awesome purchase.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
You're gonna love this so much. Ajbing one listen.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
I think's like, what if a bird moves into that
little house and you get to see them build their nest,
Like that's gonna be so cool.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You will think it's cool. I promise you you will.
It's like, I'm not down on animals, you know, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I'm just like, birds aren't high on my list unless
they're a bird of prey.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Then I'm like, wow, give me an out, give me
a hawk, like I'm in.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
But I just again going back to the man constantly
ridicules me from my packages, and yet he's scaling the
home to put up an acrylic bird nest. But watch
this eight seven seven six one seven four five eight
seven seven six one seven one nine four five.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Convince me.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Convince me that I should be like, whoa, We're gonna
have a red robin move in because I know the
bird people are out there. I know you guys, are strong,
and don't tell me about the app everyone's telling me
about you.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Gotta get an app. Hi, guys, good morning. It's actually
in the cham In Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
No.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
I was just saying that the fireman like he's he's like,
he's like a bird guy.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Now, I don't I don't know where this came about,
but I feel like over the last few months, I've
been like sat while he can tell me all about
the birds. And I remember this started a few months
back when he bought the owl house. He put out
the ladder, he climbed the ladder, and shockingly, many women
were like, how do.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
You not find that hot? He's climbing the ladder, My bitch.
This is an everyday thing around here.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
This guy's just like scaling the house yesterday on the
ladder to put a new bird feeder outside of our
kitchen window. It's like this acrylic thing sections to the glass.
He's got more bird food that like, it's like, if
the world comes to an end and we can survive
off bird food, I'm good. I'm gonna be a hundred
because that is how much like what are you doing
(12:57):
with all of that? He also goes, yeah, some people
are advising that I maybe sprinkle some of the bird
food on the roof, but I thought that would make
a mess. So we're never gonna be a bird like,
no birds flying into that. But the amount of people
in my dms, the amount of people being like, you're
gonna love it, You're gonna be invested. I just got
(13:18):
a message from Christina this morning. She goes, you need
the bird app. It is addicting. You record their sounds
and the app's gonna tell you what kind of bird
it is.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yes, it's addicting for our old selves. Who's alt?
Speaker 5 (13:31):
Who's alt?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
She goes, get the middle one, Merlin. I'm telling you
it's addicting.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
You'll be trying to grow your list of all the
birds you find at your house.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I don't know, guys, like, is that.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
What I'm doing at thirty nine, getting the Merlin app
and seeing what birds are in my home? Maybe I
also feel like you guys are really kicking me while
I'm down with this. Yeah, but ash do they give
you a harder time about having separate bank accounts or
the fact that you still haven't changed your last name.
(14:01):
I told I gave you guys a new date, I said,
I was going to change it by the time I
was forty, but then someone said, ash you shouldn't change
it right before you go to Hawaii because of the
id's and everything. So I'm pushing it to Christmas. Obviously
that makes the most sense.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
You know what, I know, it's so crazy, you guys.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
I really do want to now now you're doing this,
I really do want to change my last name.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
I don't know how many times I have to say this.
I genuinely do.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
But the other day something happened in the house where
I was like, yo, damn, like I really have to.
We were playing doctor and you know when we played doctor,
Leyla and I suit up and we each put our
doctor outfits on and we are given a name, she
names us and she was like, Okay, you can.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Call me doctor Ashley Feldman.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
I was like, yeah, actually in the jam In Morning.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Show and you need to know, we got you three
scenes you need to know on Bustin's Number one for
Hip Hop and the Best Throwbags.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
She haven't eighty four five?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
All right, everybody, Tuesday, July fourteenth, Key is with us
and Key we have to warn everybody that it's gonna
be a hot day today.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
That's the number one story out here in the streets.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
I'm dying. It's getting too hot for me.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
I hate saying it because it was such a bad way.
I know it really was.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
And I actually yesterday we were out doing like yard work,
and I made a comment about how much.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I hate doing that, and then I'm like, damn, I
could picture myself shovel shovel snow, and I was like,
I complained.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
About that too, So I know we need to like relishness.
But I'm already ready for the fall, like I'm already
moving on. Heat advisory is in effect eleven am today
until eight pm tomorrow. I feel like I get a
good gauge on the tempts because I'm leaving my house
between four fifteen and four thirty in the morning, and
if it's already muggy out, I'm like, yo, we're in
for it.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
And it it's already pretty warm there. Alrety pretty warm
out there.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
You might look at your phone and be like ash, Like,
my phone's it's gonna only be ninety ninety two. Well,
the humidity is gonna be so high over the next
days that it's going to feel upwards of one hundred
to one hundred and three degrees.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
Are we in Arizona?
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yea, what is going on?
Speaker 2 (16:09):
They were advising everybody, you know, the usuals guys, But
I'll just save them anyway. Hydrate, have a location with
adequate cooling, Take frequent breaks if you're working outside. If
you're working outside, call it, call it a day early, Like,
get up out of there, because that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Fun fact for you, ky, this is on the most
aggressive side.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
When my husband and I, you know, it got to
the point of like, okay, I think it's time for
us to move in together. He owned and I was
renting over time. So he was like, obviously monetarily makes
sense for you to move in with me. And I said, well,
I will not do that because you don't have air conditioning.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Oh well that's not I think that's a fair point,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah, And so he dropped, you know, pretty penny on
some mini slits. He didn't do central, so I guess
he didn't like me that much, but he did do
mini splits, which you know was fine.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
I said, but yeah, it was a quick it was
a quick ten k to get me to move in.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
You got boot property.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah, that's what I told him we're booty property value here,
but he did it and it's fine. There are a
lot of people out here living without AC, though I
don't know how they're doing it.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Is that a New England thing, because I feel like
I saw that once I moved up here.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
It's a crazy people thing I don't like. And you
know what's crazy. I'm bougie, but even the window units
sometimes don't do it for me, like I need full on.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
I just need that to survive.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
But listen, if I think we all know this, but
if you know somebody that's living without AC, check in
on them, especially if they're over like eighty, you know,
and don't leave your dogs in the car, and certainly
don't leave the kids in the car. When I thought, okay,
all right, let's move on to Lindsay Clancy. This is
depressing and I want you guys to know what's going
on in this trial. But it's also always just terrible
for me to get through. Lindsay Clancy is the Duxbury
(17:44):
mother who is on trial for murdering her three young children.
I'm sure you remember the story. She asked her husband
to go pick up dinner. In the meantime, she strangled
her five year olds, for three year olds and her
eight month old with elastic workout band in her Duxbury home,
and then she tried to end her own life by
throwing herself out of a second story window. She did
(18:07):
not and she is now paralyzed as a result of
her jump. So anytime we see her inside of the courtroom,
she's in a wheelchair. She was experiencing postpartum psychosis, and
it's been being said in articles that she has told
people she heard a singular male voice to tell her
she needs to end the children's lives now and take
them with her wherever.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
This voice was telling her she was going to go.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
The biggest story to come out of the pre trial
yesterday is that her ex husband Patrick Clancy is going.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
To take the stand for her defense.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Now.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Oh yes, this listen.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
It wasn't very shocking to me, just because I you know,
a few months after this happened, he wrote a almost
like a journal entry for the New York Times, I
believe it was, and he basically said, like, that wasn't
the Lindsay I knew as a mother, she was a
good mom. She was suffering. Immediately after this happened, he
filed a wrongful lawsuit against his wife's health care provide
at the time because he said when she did this
(19:02):
to her children, she was prescribed nine different medications.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Anytime this comes up.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
And I've noticed on Facebook or wherever there's a conversation,
it's very divisive and people are really on both sides
of it. I am very fortunate I did not suffer
postpartum depression, so I can't speak on it.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
I don't know. Just from what I'm reading about postpartum psychosis.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
It literally seems like I mean, she is claiming she
was hearing a voice. Now there's a whole other side
of this where people are like, well, wait a second.
She figured out the restaurant, she Google mapped how long
it was. Yes, then it's giving like premeditation.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Oh, I knew he was going to be gone for
seven minutes, so I knew I had gives me the chills.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
But yes, he will be taking he will be taking
the stand in her defense. I also saw this morning
that the judge denied the defense's motion they wanted to
have other women on the stand that have suffered postpartum
psychosis to be like, well, this is what I went through.
She must have been going through the same thing. And
the judge is like, absolutely not. We need we need
like witness experts and we need experts on the stands
(20:04):
to say this, you know. So I kind of understand
that side of it, because just because my something looked
like this doesn't necessarily mean that's exact.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Every case is different, right, You can't speak to what
was going on in her mind totally.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
I have wrestled with this one so many times, just
because I mean, five three and eight months old, Like
I get choked up even thinking about it. There's a
playground in dedication of the kids locally in Duxbury, and
I went one time, and that was the only time
I could go because there's literal photos, like actual photos
of the kids there, and it's just hard because you're
supposed to be playing and having fun and seeing that
(20:38):
it's just this whole case is just it's it's horrifying.
The actual trial itself will kick off soon July twentieth.
I will obviously keep you posted, but the big news
is that Patrick Clancy will take the stand in defense
of his ex wife all right. And lastly, people are
losing it over this one. We got leaked Tory Lane's music.
Oh yeah, I like, what blows my mind is I'm
(21:00):
gonna play some of it for you. But how does
Tory Lane sound better behind bars and some of these
people out here, just like with access?
Speaker 3 (21:08):
I don't know, because I feel like other songs have
leaked of his too, and I'm like, oh did he
record this before?
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Right, I'm like, it's actually not bad.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Now. Fans are going crazy. They're speculating that we're getting
a whole jail album coming soon. And speaking of things
being divisive, it was always like who side are you on?
Tory or megs? And shockingly, a lot of people Victory
Lane no for sure.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
All right, here's a clip of the leaked song this
is gimme.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Hey, I'm local.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
I mean, we have people calling the show and they
play their their songs for me and I'm like, how
does this sound? But like, how like does he have
like production helps? By the way, how does he know
that girl's like finger licking? There's no girls were he
is like where is he getting this in foul recording?
It is that the question where like where is.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
He getting the acoustics for this? I I don't know.
That's not the only one here's Eater Up twenty five
(22:47):
Lenny Guy sat Man, you love me boy, like I'm
really thrown for a little.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
So does you gotta believe he's like laying in his
jail bunk bed, records the vocals and then sends on
what though, like this is giving like high quality iPhone
type quality?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
So is there contrabands?
Speaker 3 (23:09):
I'm sure is the cellmate like given lyrical advice like Noah,
I wouldn't go there with you. I think you gotta
take them somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Yeah, you gotta like go in private and do these things,
but like you shouldn't have privacy in jail. I don't
blown away, but I will tell you that people are
very happy, and they're speculating that after these two little leaks,
Tory Lane's album is on the way, Meg won't be listening.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
I think we can gear rent that.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Yeah, all right, the three things needs to know for Tuesday,
July fourteenth, Let's do round one of this Past the
Mic Live show. It's at Mohegan Sun, It's October the eleventh,
and it will literally be number one.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Hit after number one hit after number one hit.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Buster rhymes, Fat Joe job Rule, Jada, Kiss and Nelly
and you eight seven seven six, one seven one nine
four or five callers twenty five are going to the show, Good.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Luck show Bustin's number one for him.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
She am in ninety four or five. Hi, guys, good morning.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
It is myself and Key at wanna be stay at
home dad joining us.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
I know yesterday you had to shoot up to New Hampshire.
Did you enjoy your bites?
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Everything was good. It was all quick stuff. I got
like a burrito, some chicken tenders and something I'm forgetting.
I eat like a child something.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Yeah. So say that sounds like Laila's tell me my
four year olds. She loves it all right.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
So we're talking dating, love, relationships lack thereof. I always
get so excited at the messages that find their way
to my to my DMS, because man, and you know what,
this woman, she came to the right place. She knew
what she was looking for with this one. But by
the way, if you're going through something in your relationship,
if you want to tell me a story about dating,
usually it's you guys complaining that it is tough times
out there. Eight seven seven six one seven four five.
(24:49):
That is eight, seven, seven, six, one, seven, four or five.
We're going to start with this DM. She's anonymous.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
She said, Ash, I.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Need you to weigh in on this. Two dates with
this guy. Both dates have gone well. It's the locations
for her that are Keyno's the location, so that's why.
So the first location their first date, this is this is.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Wendy's. Now listen, we're on date seven hundred and fifty
five and we're rolling for some chicken nuggets or a
spicy chip. Fine. Yeah, but the first date is supposed
to impress.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Now she thinks because I said, there's no way this
man is just choosing Wendy's. She thinks that Wendy's was
chosen because at one point she made a comment about
liking Nuggetsol.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Sure, sure.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Now the second one so she's like, okay, so we
go to Wendy's the first day, but it actually went
well enough so that she's like, yes, I'll go to
date number two, Date number two, Chipotle.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Is he treating at least he's treating Okay?
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Sure, well, probab, that's probably always picking these places. I
had a few follow ups for her because I think
these play into it. I asked was it a freestanding Chipotle? Yeah,
because like if it's if it's the if it's such
Chipotle at the south Shore close and we have to
walk through the hall to get through it, like I can't.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
I'm out.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I am one hundred percent out Now. The Chipotle that
I used to frequent all the time, I don't have
one near me anymore. The thing only happened like seven
or eight tables.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
It's not really designed to be like a date spot.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
I would say, fast casual. Yeah, like we're in, we're
out bing bang like we're not.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
So She's like I feel the type of way about this,
but I feel like, you know, some people will say
I should just be happy he's because the main thing
is that I've noticed online. I don't know if you
noticed this with women and aj I know you've complained
about this before too. Girls hate when the guy's like,
where do you want to go?
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Like the girls right, you want the guy to be like,
we're going to Wendy's at seven.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
I'll meet you there.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (26:52):
It's such a turn on to me when the guy's like, oh,
how about we go to this spot?
Speaker 1 (26:56):
They already know the plan where to go, and they
don't like ask me any He.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Says, how about we this is a first date, how
about we meet at Wendy's at seven pm?
Speaker 6 (27:06):
Well, I don't know how I feel about Wendy's, but
I take Chipotle, okay, but.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
This was the older it was Wendy's and then and
I know there's a lot of girls. They're gonna be like,
oh god, Ashley, like you're so snobby. And that's fine,
I mean the first oh yes they will, but the
first date, like you could take me to Wendy's at
some point, but like not on the first date.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Like no, I mean romance over never frozen Patti's. I'm
not mad at.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
My least favorite. Yes, that's actually a good point.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
And I think there's gonna be females out here there
like yo, I'm just trying to get a date. And
the fact that this guy, you know, lined two things up,
I just like it's tough. I mean, I'm not out
there a j u are I mean are you saying yet?
Just are you saying yes to a Wendy's date? If
you say yes, are you afraid to come in here
(27:58):
and tell me I'm.
Speaker 6 (28:01):
Afraid to say no to him because I'll feel bad,
and then I'm afraid to tell.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
You that I'm going on a first date if I
have to get up and I have to put the
ketchup in those little circle plastic.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Things, Like what are we doing you guys? That's what
I'm saying, Like what are I just think?
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Like for example, he wanted to like do a nod
to because I'll give you guys a place, because where
would you go if he She at some point said, oh,
I love burgers.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Take her to Sully's. Take her to Sullies at Castle Island.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
That you're gonna get a phenomenal burger, You're gonna get
some really good fries, and then.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
You can go for a little walk ski around. We
can do things. We can get burgers and fries on
a first date. I'm cool with that. But what we're
not doing is like with the braids, like we're going
we're going to see Wendy. I'm just Aggie is in
West Webster. Hi, Aggie, good.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
Morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
Yes I can, and I love this because you're about
to prove me wrong. You have been married for twenty
five years. Yes, tell everybody where your first date was.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
My first date was McDonald's mc donald's.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Now, when when he said to you, we're gonna we're
gonna go on this date. I'm taking you to McDonald's,
you weren't taken aback by that a little bit. You
were like, how did that come about?
Speaker 7 (29:19):
So we worked together, so he was like, you know,
so you want to grab something at McDonald's. I'm like sure,
because I mean we were working, so it was like,
no big deal to me.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
It's okay, a little different scenario.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
So yeah, So we just went on down to McDonald's
on life break and then together ever since.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
The Oh the follow up to that I have is
on your first real date where he asked you out
and we were going to like a restaurant and you
know where did he take you?
Speaker 7 (29:51):
Oh, we did go to a fancy restaurant together so
many freaking years, I didn't even think getting away.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
All kinds all right? So he winded dines you a
little bit. But Aggie, I love this day.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
One at McDonald's and a marriage after twenty five That's
that's amazing. So so there's a chance for this woman,
that's what you're telling me, and I will I will
write that back to her.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I will.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Okay, thank you for the thank you for the call.
That's crazy. But I again, like we're at work fast cast.
This isn't like I've had a couple of days to
work this up. Joe is in Boston, and I had
a feeling this. Joe wants to say that he thinks
all the girls take guys for granted. Hi, Joe, good morning, Hey.
Speaker 8 (30:40):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Are you kind of feeling like, man, we can't win
because I I you know.
Speaker 8 (30:46):
Well, it's like one of those I think it's one
of those things where like, you know, you think if
you want to take a girl, oh, you don't even
know if this girl is gonna, you know, give you
the time of day for sure.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
No, I know, and you know what Joe. As an example,
my brother was living in New York.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
He's he's very happy in a relationship now, but when
he was single in New York, Joe he struggled so
bad because he was like, I'm taking these chicks out,
I will most likely not see them again after this date.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Like what if it doesn't go well and I'm spending
like a quick hondo each time and.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
It gets it gets pricey. Well, Joe, let me ask
you this, what's your go to like on a first date.
Where are you taking.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
These ladies.
Speaker 8 (31:25):
I'm like, I'm like, let's go do a thing and
we'll get pizza or something like, we'll go do something.
But I can't sit still like that. I can't just
sit there and you know, not do nothing. Let's go
get pizza or something.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Okay, So there's like an activity, all right. I mean, listen,
the new trend is and Joe, thanks for the call.
There's a lot of feedback and let you go. But
there is a new trend where it's like, oh, let's
go grab a cup of coffee because I think.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
That's like still because like I think the coffee shop
is more set up for those conversations. Yeah. Again, the Wendy's.
There's just a lot of variables that can walk into
a Wendy's.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
Couldn't agree more. We don't. We don't know, we don't,
we don't know.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
He's a roll of the dice if if he asks
me on my first aig to the Wendy's and we
don't get out of the car like done done eight
seven seven six one seven four five eight seven seven
six one seven five.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
We're talking about the trials and tribulations of dating. It's
not good.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Hi guys, good morning. It is Ashley and the Gym
in morning show. I'm with key at want to be
Stay at Home Dad. If you want to follow his
food content, which, by the way, fellas, go take a
look see because seriously, not all the spots you're roll
into are going to like break the bank and what
I like about they're one of ones. They're like small
town spots where you could go, you know, we could
(32:40):
get Wendy's in you know, Virginia.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
We don't.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
We let's find a place that we can only eat here, fellas,
if you look in to save some money and find
a good spot that's not Wendy's. Look at page, yes
At want to be Stay at Home Dad, for the
love of God. But unrelated, yesterday we we kind of
broke down what was happening. Oh, Alex probably didn't hear
this yesterday, but Alex, we finally got an answer on
(33:07):
AJ's gym guide.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
You remember this conversation last week saw that as a joke. Yeah,
well she didn't have to post that, we do.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
But yeah, she finally, you know, got the courage to
go up to the guy at the gym who she
claims had been giving her the eyes.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Now, remember I.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Didn't believe that part, but turns out that actually was true.
It seems like he may or may not have been
into her.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
However, he doesn't speak English, so that.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
He speaks knowing Lace and so she's like, well, damn,
like we're not you know obviously.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
And you know what, I felt bad because AJ was like,
I don't know. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
And I was like, first off, people have cut people
for wait, like way crazier reasons, like, hey, we can't communicate,
is not a crazy reason to not date somebody I
can learn. Well, Brittany is in Wooster and britt was
trying to call yesterday but we we couldn't get to
your call, Brits. So I'm happy to chat with you
this morning.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
AJ.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
You know, she thinks she's found the love of her
life for the five hundred and fiftieth time, and she
approaches and realizes that the man does not speak any English,
and so she's like, Okay, that's not gonna work out
for me. You kind of were presented with the same
situation and you hung on yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
Yeah, So uh it all started. It was like a
couple of years ago now, but we had moun Tinder
and oh my gosh, beautiful, beautiful Brazilian man. And through
text messages, you know, I could tell that he was
using like a translate or something like that. So because
(34:45):
of like the words weren't like it wasn't making sense.
I got some of the things that he was saying.
So but it was so sweet. And then he invited
me out to like go out to like a little
like uh club things. Anyway, we had a drink outside.
We were able to talk barely because I did have
(35:07):
to use like the Google Translate a little bit. So
it was like it was just hard because you know,
the feelings were there. He was a very nice guy,
so that was yeah, it was like he fell from heaven.
Oh my goodness. Yeah, and I'm like why do Yeah,
(35:28):
I'm like, why do you want me? I was just confused.
And then so things, Yeah, so things ended up speeding
up really quickly. I moved in with him.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Oh my god, like we couldn't we just couldn't even talk.
And we were like, all right, we'll move in. How
fast did you move in?
Speaker 5 (35:45):
Like within two weeks?
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Girlfriend? What the hell? And argued and now like you're
still together and everything's no no no.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
So it's a crazy twist of a story that actually
ended it.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
But what if I told you I wanted to hear it,
but you had only one minute to tell it. Do
you think he could do it?
Speaker 8 (36:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:09):
Yeah, it's it's not too much, all right, Well tell me,
Oh okay, Well he asked me to marry him within
six months of our relationship, so well, luckily I liked
I liked him and stuff like that, but I wasn't
thinking of marriage at that time. And I was confused
(36:29):
because I didn't know, you know, if he had citizenship
or if that's the reason why he wanted to marry
me so quickly, or if he was really in love
with me, you know. So it had said something and
he's like, no, you think whatever, blah blah blah, and
then ended up saying that he was going back to
Brazil and then just randomly broke.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Up with me. Wow, okay, so did you?
Speaker 5 (36:52):
And now he lives in Rhode Island with two kids.
He never went to Brazil, and I still had a
sister on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Girlfriend no way, so he essentially like met somebody else probably,
and now he's he's I think so started a whole family.
Did you ever get to the point just back to
the communication part of it all where like he was
speaking fluent English or like, it was always kind of just.
Speaker 5 (37:16):
I don't know. Sometimes I would feel like he was
lying or something because I would say stuff like and
I feel like he understood a little bit. But he
did understand a little bit. But and I also spoke Spanish,
so I some of the words are a little bit
similar in Portuguese. So I was just trying my hardest.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
And yeah, you know what I love about this story.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
It's proving our point that aj I think that you
should say away from that situation.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah, this is what not to and pretty Thank you
so much though, and we appreciate the call. And how
are you with someone new? Have you found love elsewhere?
Speaker 8 (37:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (37:57):
Yeah, yeah, I hope he's not watching from his restaurant radio.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
Well, I guess we'll fight now.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
Embarrassing I told him yesterday, I said I'm gonna be
on the radio just by the way.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
Yeah, it's a good chance he's probably like tuning in.
But all right, Britt, Well, thank you so much for
the call. I appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (38:15):
Just talking about my X again.
Speaker 8 (38:16):
No big deal, No.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Big deal, you're not into him anymore. It's fine. We've moved.
Bunches of gay.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Actually have the sister on Instagram and I follow them
and the kids are two and five.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
Yeah, driven past the house a couple of times.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Oh my gosh, do you want to play a song?
Ash or do you want to play? Okay, let's play
a song Abby, don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
We are talking about dating, love, relationships, Wendy's chifaultle and
just no cluh eight seven seven six one seven.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
One nine four five God.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Hi, guys, good morning. It is Ashley and the Gym
in the Morning Show with key At. Want to be
a stay at home dad? On ig If you want
to follow are your TikTok guy?
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Yep, I'm on there as well.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Which avenue do you prefer?
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Honestly doesn't matter follow both act If.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
I was gonna say, if you post on ig, do
you put the.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
I do some dances on TikTok too?
Speaker 1 (39:05):
In my head I was like, well the second jew
wee be doing? Seeking of AJ.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I love how much you guys fight for AJ to
find love? Like I mean, you got to give it
to everybody who listens to this show.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
They really want it.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Some people don't because I think they enjoy the stories.
But for the most part, people are like, we we
want the day, or this woman is like I met somebody.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
I appreciate that so much.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah, like so much so that they're like, just date
the guy who doesn't speak English, like just state him, Like,
let's just try. Abby in Weymouth wants to prove a
point that you can date someone if there's a massive
language barrier. In fact, she's been with your You've been
with your man for eight months and when you first
met no English. No English.
Speaker 9 (39:52):
I didn't know until we wanted to talk on the
phone and I was like, wow, like he doesn't speak
any English, but and I always wanted to learn a language,
so I was like, you know what, let me try.
And we've been together ever since.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
So it was you that that learned what language?
Speaker 5 (40:10):
Spanish?
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Wow, So you went and learned Spanish for him?
Speaker 9 (40:15):
Did he learn a little bit of a little bit?
But I was learning Spanish way too fast because we
were using it up primarily. So yeah, so now I
can speak to him almost fluently.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
Well, can you commit to that? Don't they esta la biblioteca, where.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Is the.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I'm dead and that's what? Oh Abby, well you know what,
thank you for this, I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Well, now you have opposite ends of the spectrum on that,
So which I mean you're not you're not pursuing this.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Yeah, I don't think so. I don't think it's for me.
I don't think it is either. But at least there
there are people out there that are like willing to
roll the dice for we've seen two people at least
that gave it a track. So yeah, there you go.
We're not going to see three.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
No.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Two is worth of the number.
