Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake it up people. Happy Friday, A Happy Friday, Bemo,
the Prince, Yeah, buddy.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yesterday the Fireman was like, oh, how did it go
having Bemo in there? I was like, oh, it's great,
Like I love having him, you know. He goes do
you call him? And I was like, I go straight Vimo.
It's like it's like the weird radio thing, right, Like
people used to ask me when Romeo worked on Kiss
one O eight, They're like, do you call him Romeo?

(00:30):
And I'm like no, I'm I'm grown ass woman. Like
I call him Neil. His name is Neil, and I
call him.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Neil, but everybody else called him Romeo.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
The whole concept of like radio names is interesting, wild,
and it's like at that time, at the height of
radio back back back in the day, it was like
what you did.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But now we talk so much about our lives and
like who we really are.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
It's not a bit anymore.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
No.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Originally, A when I started radio, a PD that we
will not mention told me that my radio name should
be Junior and I was.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Like, no, I don't want to be Junior.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
What But yeah, we ended up on Prince and then
the really reason it's still there is because I went
viral with Bemo the Prince as my handle. Now it's
literally everybody's like, oh, Beamo the Prince and I'm like, okay, yeah,
I'm almost forty.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
It's just Bemo to me. But yeah, like that is
when people write me about you. It there they put
the whole thing Bemo the Prince that Yeah. He was like,
do you call him the Prince? I'm like, what, No,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I feel like there are some radio names out here
in the streets that if people knew the person, like
I don't do does pebs say what her real name is?
Because I think if people knew what her real name is,
they'd be like what.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah. When I found out because we had to send
her a wedding invitation and I was like, hey, where
should we send it? And she told gave me her
government and I was like what You're like.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
That's who you are.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Wait a minute.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
She's retired now, so I don't know if you would mind.
But I don't know if she's done the big reveal.
I don't want to reveal she had reveal.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I don't think she has. I don't think very select. Yeah,
I feel I feel cool to be in the inner
circle and know what her real name is. I'm just
telling you.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
You would be like, there's no, there's no not even
that it's a bad name.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You just would be like, no, not, it wouldn't be in.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
My top fifty choices.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, I'm trying to think of some other ones.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I mean, for the most part, I mean thinking of
bigger personalities in Boston. Like, well, Ramier was a freaking
Puerto Rican when I first met him for a while, but.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
He always was Yeah, but like I remember that, the
freaking Puerto Rican.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I'm like, okay, I'll just call him for God, call
him mister Torres.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Who else? Maddie was always Maddie Matt's yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah, which that's an easy, peasy one.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah. Who else there wasn't There wasn't a ton of them,
but they were like a thing.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah, it was. It was aggressive. There was a DJ
hustlesonmon yeah, which which is a well the DJ is
still DJ's got names.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah, Like I mean, well, a good example here is pop.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Just so everyone's clear, that's not the man's government name.
And I would love to say his name, but I
don't know if he's actually ever uttered the words.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah. Then there's uh my boy DJ Tone Terra who
I worked with over at hamp but I like, I
know his name and I still call him Tone.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I would prefer to him as Tone. I actually don't
know his first name.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
You have to tell me you got one up on.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Another one that was always the best is Foreign, who
used to be on Foreign.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Shout up to my god Drew. He DJs actually don't
mess with that. They don't. They don't. I'll never forget too.
When like everything kind of went down.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
And Jules was like, I'm going to help out and stuff,
and I was like, no, I'm I would love that
and that would be great. But I like when people
ask me what your name is, I'm I'm not.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Going to be able to say DJ Jewles Flavor because
I just can't. I can't.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
It sounds it sounds like I'm trying no way too hard.
But Jules's real name is Julian, which I think is
a nice strong name.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
But he likes that. He likes Jules, so we'll. Yeah,
the DJs have that.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Like tougher exterior than we do and stead of like, no,
you can't be out here calling us by yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah. Fortunately for me, I.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Was the Prince.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, mister Prince, that's that's That's what there was.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And then, unfortunately for me, I just have the most
common basic white girl name in America.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
But you got to I have two weeks, but I'm
literally sitting next to another one. It's like we can't
I can't escape it.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
But if you want to know Puff's real name, DM
me and I will tell you the secret. He will
be so bad that when you see him out when
he's DJ, you can call by his real name.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Show then you need to know.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
We got you three things you need to know on Boston.
Number one for hip hop and the best throwbags you
haven't any four.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Five?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
All right, Babe's Friday. It is July the tenth, and
we are saying pie to the World Cup here in Boston.
It's oh sad. Last night was the big wrap up
at Boston Stadium. So sad to see them go after
France claim to victory over Morocco. It was two oh.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I just we talked about it a lot yesterday, but
it really has been a time like I feel invested.
I feel like in four years, because every four years
is the World Cup exact when this thing loads up
again in four years.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I'm gonna I'm gonna be peop and I'm gonna be in.
I know, I'm kind of like I'm a I'm a
football guy.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
I know.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
It's just I think it really goes back to seeing
and meeting all these other people being so pieful about
where they're from.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Like that part of it I've really enjoyed.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I think that was the part that was really cool
is everybody And I feel like in a world where
sports fans are at each other's throats all the time,
they all were just so like cool to each other
and having a good time. It was like wild.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
It was.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
And also I also feel like there's this persona of
Boston around the world that like we're mean and we're
nasty and we're not welcoming. And I feel like every country,
for the most part, that has come over and come
to Boston to you know, kind of enjoy our city
has been like everybody here was great.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, like they had us hot.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I feel like as a whole, most of the people
from other countries were like, oh, you Americans ain't that bad.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
For sure, Sure the stories are different, but you guys
are I.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Loved having we had a kid from Scotland on the show,
and I asked him, like, what was there anything that
he was prepared to see when he came over here,
and he's like, I thought I won't do the accident.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I alwast try. But he said he thought that the.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Police officers want to car We're going to be carrying
guns like out and about with donuts on them.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Like he's like, I just everybody just donuts every here
and I'm like, you know what, it does give me
a giggly though. When I see a coop eating a
donut I'm like, oh, you have fallen into that one
of my buddies.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
As a cop.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
And he literally puts on his napchat him eating the donut. Yes,
because he knows. He's like, Louck, we do it. But anyways,
the World Cup will roll on, just not here anymore.
Spain Belgium is today at three pm. I'm going to
separate the stories.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
But this happened at the World Cup game France Morocco yesterday.
It was a who's who? There were a ton Wait,
am I about to drop this Jalen on you? And
you didn't know about?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Oh no, I did see this, okay, I was like,
but no, there. It was a who's who.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
There was a ton of big time celebrities at this game.
I know people like to watch France. I know France popular.
But JB was there very very warm welcome. When they
showed him on the on the big screen, he was
kicking it with I show speed. Who's like, I show
Speed is just massive on I'm not huge when it
comes to like the twitching and the live and the

(07:40):
live streaming.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I will not lie.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
I'm not big on it, but I know the names
like I know I show Speed as massive. I no,
Kaisa not as massive. Anyways, they had a little link
up and they had a little combo and I just
feel like JB is not holding back.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
No, I oh yeah, you let Boston.

Speaker 7 (07:58):
Where are you going? You want a billy crazy bro?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Don't become a basketball player.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
There's what happened? You just got traded.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
That's a good question.

Speaker 8 (08:10):
That's a real good question.

Speaker 7 (08:11):
I think a lot of people will want to hear that.
They asking that question. I packed up? You got packed up?
What does that even mean? They packed me up? I'm
out of here.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
And you know, it's crazy. Everything I've seen from him
since the trade, He's still been in Boston, going to events,
throwing events, doing all the things. I'm like, this dude's
never going to show up in Philadelphia. Everyone else has
taken their pictures with their jerseys. Jalen's still here.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Kid, you not?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
I said to AJ because there were supposed to be
this big puff event with JB. Yesterly had to cancel
it because there's gonna be too many people. And I
literally said to AJ, I go, maybe they canceled it
because Philly was like, what are you doing for you
to get to?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah city, Bradley loves waiting for you.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
You know, Green runs deep.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
He's like a huge chance and he was kicking it
with Jamie to myself.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Yeah, and JB was like, yeah, I don't know, Like
you traded me to Philly.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Why would you do that? You're on Philly, You're on
the team now.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
And you know what I love though, he's he's he's
he's a sixer.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Now, and I just I don't think he can really
accept it, but he's he is trying to wheel and
deal with ishow speed for the Sixers.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
You gotta kill Lebron.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
You gotta pull up, Lebron, pull up to Philly. Think
about it. Lebron, Jaylen Brown.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Think about it, Lebron, Jayleen Brad. That would be a
time that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
That would because Lebron still just out and about here
in the streets, free agent, just chilling.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I know, and like he's one hundred years old. Incredible.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I want him to go to the Caves.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
I also feel like I didn't include these because it
would be just a lot.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
But I don't know if you felt like this.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
It seems like yesterday a lot of the people we
have been waiting for to talk about Jalen like there
was just so much chatter around him.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
We finally got Joe Mizzula talking about the trade, but
I felt like he was very.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Political when he was like, listen, I trust you, Brad,
and yeah, this is you know what we're gonna do,
and he's like I do. I think the one thing
he made clear is like we're not getting another Jalen Brown.
There is no other Jayleen Brown j around Jalen Brown.
But we did get these new guys in and I
expect them to play to their highest caliber of play
and you know, live live up to who they are.
So yeah, I mean, I just think anytime we see

(10:17):
Jalen Deman is heartbroken.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yeah. He I've never seen an athlete truly like hate
so since probably like when Paul Pierce got traded, right,
he truly looks like like, man.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
I'm upset, this is this is home now.

Speaker 9 (10:31):
I'm also seeing a lot more chatter around this talk
of that the Jays didn't really have any sort of
friendly relationship there, and I just think they were different
people and as they got older, they also were still
just more different off the court, Like Tatum don't talk
and he's got two kids.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Jalen's talking to everybody and he's got no kids.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I also like having played sports, like there were people
on my team that the second I walked into the
locker room, even if I found out something happened outside,
I would be defense of them, but like I wasn't
hanging out with them twenty four to seven, And I think,
now all of this is happening, so what's coming to light?

Speaker 1 (11:04):
But it's like that doesn't happen every time there.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Were people on my basketball team I actively hated.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Right that, but they were still your teamates.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Once we got in the locker room, I was like,
we going to war, right, that's it?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Yeah, one hundred percent all right, And lastly, Yay is
set to perform in New Orleans. Now, this show is
going to be nuts at the Caesars super Dome. That's
going to happen Friday, August twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Oh, it's going to be This is going to be
his first concert in Nola in thirteen years.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
This is part of his live concert tour that he's
been doing. He went to Albania, he went to Spain,
he went to Portugal, then he hit Chicago. It almost
seems like nothing is set in stone that like his
people are going to these cities being like he wants
to come to How are you guys feeling?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
What's your temperature with right now? He said, sorry, if
you're not accepting it, cool, we will go to the
next city. What do you feel?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
But no matter where he goes when he does perform,
it is always to a sold out venue and it's
crazy and the merch lines go.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
You think Boston would say yes, I don't know. I
don't know either.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
I think if I want a chance of seeing him,
it's gonna have to be somewhere else.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
It'll have to be something.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah, I agree, all right, this freething needs to know
for Friday, July the tenth.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
The pod is the easiest way to catch up on
the show. I said this yesterday. I felt like it
was a potential lie. But you you're like, it wasn't
a lie that I had to tell yesterday. It was
more like an ambition, Yeah, of a few things.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Of just a few little things.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
So if you missed any of the convos yesterday, I'm
gonna need you to catch up because I'm gonna reveal
a just wild story at.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Some point down the free iHeartRadio app in search as HLWA.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Boston's number one for hip hop dam in ninety four
or five.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Hi guys, good morning, Happy Friday, Cheers to the freaking weekend.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
I had myself a little evening last night.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Oh hell, so I had done things with the girls
all afternoon, and then the fireman was like, a couple
of my buddies are taking their kids to the beach
for dinner. And I thought to myself, that sounds so
terrible because they're just gonna eat sand, like.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Whatever, they're gonna drop it, they're gonna eat it.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, it's disgusting. I just really didn't feel like doing it.
And he's like, dude, just dice like I'll take them whatever.
I'm like, tell me twice.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Hell bye bye.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
That's actually what I.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Text you because I had closed at the blinds and
I was like, I'll literally trying to make the house
as dark as possible to watch.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Silo in peace.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
But I'm sitting there and like time's going on, I'm
starting to get hungry, and I'm like, what would make
me like I'm sitting here by myself in peace watching
my show.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
What could elevate this moment? McDonald's. Hell, So it is
a it is.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
A four minute drive to the Golden Arches from my house,
but obviously that's dangerous.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Well, I did eats four minutes in a car. Did
uber eat? So I left McDonald's and was like, wait no.
He was like, there's no way. Two turns the street.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Literally he just pushed the bag like what no, it's
it's It gives such sadness, but it's fine.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I didn't want to leave. I didn't have any pants on.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
So the food gets there and I just relish in
my McDonald's. And it reminded me that I wrote this
down so long ago to talk about because I feel
like in my olden age, and because I have two
little kids. I frequent Mickey The's like probably at minimum,
might say once every two weeks. We're going and they're
getting happy meals or whatever. I'm I'm I'm ten toes

(14:34):
down on this. If you go to McDonald's and you
actively order a fish filet, oh, you like there you
have demons. You hate yourself, You literally hate yourself. I'm like,
because I've been in the line and I've seen the
order from the person ahead.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
You know, it stays on the screen for a second.
I see fish filet up there.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
And I'm like, oh, that person just like they hate themselves,
they hate their life, They're not happy.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
When I was on the real road, I was on
the real world.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
We would go to Mickey D's and Sahar, who was
on real road with me, she would always order fish
file at and to this day, like I wrote her,
I don't know a month or two ago and I
was like, but are you still ordering fish fillets?

Speaker 1 (15:19):
And she was like, yeah, you bet, I am. He
loves I'm just like that to me is the ultimate
red flag. I've also said this, and I've gotten myself
in some hot water. I feel like there is two
things you go to McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
You have my utmost respect. You order a fish file
at I can't. I can't even deal with you. Correct,
But if you ever are driving past the McDonald's to
get to a Burger King, just give up.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Oh you're an anti burger king gal.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Give up.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I can't like it had its time where that chicken sandwich,
when that chicken sandsforcet came out?

Speaker 1 (15:52):
I feel when I was ten.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
But now anybody that goes to Burger King it gives
sadness to.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Wow, I think, when's last time you've been?

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I feel like, right now I'm realizing I've never been
a burger king guy.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
But you've been to one?

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yeah, but I've never I think the only time. The
only reason I ever liked Burger King is because I
could get the fun little crowns. I am the Prince after.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Also, because I was about to say, isn't there a
maskout like a guy with a crown like this, like
mean man that has a Yeah it's.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Not Ronald, it's on a clown. Wow. Yeah, no, that's
some that's a fair point. It's like, really, why else were.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
We going to Pizza Hut other than to collect for
reading all the books? That we read that we never
really read back.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Oh man, that.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Was pizza hu.

Speaker 7 (16:36):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Did you see that They're they're doing some like retro
thing where they're bringing back some of the old Yes,
I did.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
And I can smell it from here, like I can
smell that atmosphere.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
It's so exciting. But yeah, we used to read those
books and get those coupons. We used to roll to
the pizza Hut. I just you know, I think we've
had the discussion of like what's considered fast food what's not,
because some people will say, like the best fast food
is a.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Chipotle or five guys.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
But when I'm talking about fast food, I'm going like og,
I'm thinking like Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
What am I missing? I guess you think we could
start going like Taco Bell whatever.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
We're talking about the burger spots, like those are those
are the three mains? And in order for me, it's
going McDonald's, Wendy's. But I don't even think burgings we mentioned.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
No.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
When I say this, people get bad.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
I also was late to the Wendy's game, But Wendy's
is Wendy's is significantly over Burger King and then McDonald's
to me and Wendy's are close.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
You're say, Wendy's is your numero Now depends on the day, Okay,
depends on the day. I remember I had McDonald's like
last week, and it hits. It will never it always does.
It's consistent. That's the fries were so salty last night.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Match.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
When I was little, the Wendy's used to have like
a sun room, talking about it had a sun room
and I was hot in there, and I remember how
excited I would because I would get nugets and the fries.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
My dad would get a bowl of chili, and we
would sit out in that sun room and we'd watch
people drive on the White Horse Pike and it was
like those are the days.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Down the stairs you sit stage. Oh you hate there
at the fast food joint. Absolutely, it was a time, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Experience that was family dinner.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
I wonder like what people would want to comment about this,
because I've also I also upset people too because I
think only like children should be allowed to order a sprite.
Oh why are you.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
If if you are over eleven and you're actively ordering
a sprite? I'm concerned.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I'm eight seven seven six one seven four five eight
seven seven six one seven nine four five. You call
me right now and tell me you order a fish filet.
I'm like, seek therapy please.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Hi, guys, good morning. It is Ashley and the jam
In Morning Show. I listen. It's every time we discuss
fast food around here. I upset somebody.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
I just feel like, if you're going to Burger King,
like you're in dire streets, like things aren't going well
for you, like in life in general, like of all
the options, you're you gonna be kids, I am worried.
We were saying there's something about eating Wendy's that makes
you just like you're like, oh I.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Was healthy today.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yeah, I don't know why you have to.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Roll to a fast food.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
You're eating Wendy's, You're like, oh, I'm superior, you know.
And last night I had a McDonald's. I got the
snack rat meal, the spicy chicken, ten out of ten,
fries delicious. But when I roll sometimes I'll see that screen,
you know, from the prior order, and if I see
fish filet on there, I'm like these that person is
like mentally.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Unwell, Like put them in a padded cell but of
course I had a girl just she posted in her
story like there.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Was a camera on.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Herself, and she's like, I listened to Ashley. She's probably
listened right now. She's like, I listen to Ashley every morning.
I love her. I love this show.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
But like she really upset me because she's essentially said
people that order fish filet or losers, and she goes,
I don't eat meat, So then you shouldn't go to McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
You just shouldn't eat the fries and call it a day.
Get too large fry.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
You'll be happy.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
You be so satisfied.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Potato, you know what you could get?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
True, we were talking about the love of potatoes yesterday.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
If you get a couple of fries and a mcflurry,
if the machine's working, which which is probably it's probably not,
you could try.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
You can't. You can't listen. No, it's gross.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
It is gross. It is I feel like you are
it's paramount to like when you go to someone's house
in their house is just messy, and you're just like,
that's what I feel like whenever it's just that they
have a messy car.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Thinking to yourself, like you're just you're not you're gross.
You not well like.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
And it's so crazy because.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Remember that thing that went viral a couple of months
ago where I think it was like the one of
the owners of McDonald's was like trying the.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
New birder and he took like a baby bite the
other ones. I don't know what that was either, like
a burger.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
From McDonald's, Like, is that that the It's gonna hit
no matter where you.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Go, although I think leave it up to only aj.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Didn't you go to McDonald's in Germany and you were
like it didn't taste the same?

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Oh yeah, so ill.

Speaker 10 (21:11):
Of course I was twelve and I'm a picky eater,
so I wasn't doing well with the German food and
I was like, I need McDonald's, like I need home.
And I got McDonald's and it was it was not
the McDonald's that we know in love.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Wow, have you ever heard We don't have a ton
of time, but have you ever heard about the lore
of the KFC in Jamaica? Oh no, people wait hours?
Oh uh huh, And like this is a real thing.
And DJ Forarren had mentioned this once on the show,
and the day he mentioned it, it was the whole
show six to ten. Everybody calling being like, I will

(21:45):
go to Jamaica right now just for the KFC.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
They're doing something different.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Wild. Do they have fountain sprites there?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Well, they serve adults, so I'm not It's good. This
one is going to live in deep in his soul.
Man Females rolling today in secret to get himself a
sprite and officialow a morning show. Lynn, you need to know.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston Number one for hip hop and the best throwbags
you haven't eighty four to five.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Oh man, guys, it is Friday, It's July tenth, and
I'm sad to see it go bye bye to the
World Cup.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
We wrapped up our last game here in Boston Stadium yesterday.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Now the World Cup will will roll on.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
It's just here in Boston, and man did the World
Cup leave? It's Mark, that is for sure. So sad
to see them go. After France claiming a victory over
Morocco two to nothing, and listen, no matter who can
I mean, we we obviously can't get enough of the Scots.
But you know, Norway was amazing too, and we have

(22:50):
had so many different countries here and everybody was so
prideful and so excited to come to Boston. And I
said this last hour, but I think there was this,
you know, common thought with all these other countries coming here, like, oh,
they're gonna be so nasty. They're Boston people. They're mean,
they're rude.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Meanwhile, we were like, welcomee come to our see them
come back party.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, and now they're all leaving and we're so it's
just like the end of a trip, right, It's like
it's it's sad to see them go, but yes, but
they they know the world couple roll on. I just
think what I've really learned here is when it comes
back around in four years I'm gonna be like I'm invested. Yeah,
I'm far more interested now Spain Belgium today at three
if you want to get in on that action separate story,

(23:32):
but speaking of that last game, France Morocco over at
Boston Stadium, which will now just go back.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
To Jellebe we can call it call that again. Yeah,
star studded star study.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Alex actually just got in here and he was like
ash Shakira was even at the game.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
We're talking a.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Ton about Shalen Brown being there and I show speed
because of the commentary. But Shakira's at the Garden tonight
and tomorrow, so she was actually at the game. I
mean on icon But yeah, JB, I show speed. Who
if you don't know who? I show Speed is just
like a massive, massive live streamer.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yeah, there's so many they're in They're huge.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
No, they're they're so much bigger than you think. But
it's they're with a certain age. Yeah, you know what
I mean, like no interest in watching someone just live.
Santi used to give me this example.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
He's like, if my kids rolled up on Leonardo DiCaprio,
they'd but if they rolled up on ihow Speed or
like Kai Sinat freaking out.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
It's just the way of the world.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
But anyways, Jaylen Brown, I show speed having a little
moment at the game that everybody's talking about.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
JB just doesn't hold back.

Speaker 8 (24:32):
I just got traded.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Well, yeah, you let Boston.

Speaker 7 (24:35):
Where you going? You want to Billy? They packed me up.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Oh there's a crazy business, bro, don't become a basketball player.

Speaker 7 (24:42):
There's no there's no loyal What happened? You just got traded.
That's a good question, good question, It's a real good question.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
I think a lot of people want to hear that
they asking that question right now.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
I don't know, packed up, got packed up? What does
that even mean?

Speaker 1 (24:56):
They packed me up, sim out of here.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
What's crazy to me is I mean we joke about
how everybody's algo is different, but imagine I show speed
had no idea.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
He was like, yeah, I think I saw something about
that where you're headed. Like, I couldn't.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
I think even if I wasn't literally living here, I
couldn't ask every single was posting about it.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Just different worlds.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
He's like, oh, yeah, somebody told me you were leaving.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Yeah, And then he was asking genuine questions that we
would all ask to, but not because he was like, oh,
I gotta get this. He was like, he's like, where
you're headed? What's going on? You pack it in your bag?
Jalen like, yeah, that's actually a question everybody wants the
answer to. You said it, but it's true.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
I feel like he has yet to say anything along
the lines of I can't wait to get to Philly,
I'm so excited for the foot It's always like, yeah,
it's always about the Celtics.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Right now, I can't believe this happened. I can't. He
might need to to change.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Out to a little Yeah. I mean for me, I
love it.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, well so is he.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Clearly I did also love this little between the two
when JB was like, Hey, do you actually have the
Lebron plug?

Speaker 3 (26:05):
You gotta Lebron, you gotta pull up.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Lebron, pull up to Philly. Think about it, Lebron, Jaylen Brown.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I mean we're thinking about it. It's not gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I think you said it. I want him back in Cleveland.
I want that story to close with him.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Back on I listen.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I live in Boston, I went to college here, I've
been here for some time. Well love in Marshfield before
anybody starts, but because right, okay, But anyway, what I
was gonna say is I grew up in Jersey, first
town over the bridge from Philly. All of my childhood
high school friends are massive sexers fans.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
They are they are so excited.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
I've seen all the posts I've seen like Philly can't
wait to open their arms and show this man.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
The most amount of love. Like they're pumped.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Oh it's gonna it's gonna crush my entire song.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I know, well all right, let's talk about Bad Bunny
and the drama with the ex girlfriend A little fun
factory you So. Bad Bunny used to work at a
grocery store, and at said grocery store he met his
ex girlfriend. At the time, they were at a party.
They went into a bathroom.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
This is all true, and he had her record this, Bunny,
that little clip I'll play it again was recorded in
a bathroom.

Speaker 7 (27:26):
No, that wasn't.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
They were a party, Bad Bunny Baby. So anyways, he
asks her to record that they.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Do it in the bathroom. Boom bang done. He uses
it on one of his songs, Patty Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
It seemed like that was an agreement between the two,
like I'm gonna record this from you and then I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Put it in this song.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
So after that he started including it in other songs.
And here's where it gets a little dicey. She's been
trying to take this man to court, like she's actually
at this moment asking for forty million dollars in damages,
citing violations of her dignity, personal rights, and writes a
private see but I will tell you the court dismissed
all of those specific claims. But where the judge had

(28:04):
her back was if he put it in other songs,
not the one you guys discussed, there are some copyright
issues here, like yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was actually
asking Alex about this because Alex, you know, fan of
Bad Buddy, I obviously know a few songs.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
But I said to you, is that little clip in
other songs?

Speaker 11 (28:23):
You said a lot, not a lot, but yeah, it
was definitely not just that song, not specific to that one.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yeah, and Alex is actually dealing with a little bit
of copyright as well.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
He used his brother's voice when he was little to
do his name, and now is your brother seeking forty
million dollars in violations of dimity. He was smart. He
asked for twenty percent of every gross income you go
every a little brother gets twenty percent.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
But people are calling this a win for Bad Buddy
because at least the judge was like, no, no, no, we're
not We're not doing this whole like violations of dignity.
But you do have a point. I don't think she's
walking away before pready mill. I think at one point
in the very beginning of this, when she first came
out and wanted money, they offered her like two g's.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
And she was like, that's not enough. I think she'll
get a little.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Bit more than that. But how crazy is this this
little clip? He's going to cost that man some.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Money, honey.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
That's why I know.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
And and I guarantee you at the time, I mean
they were exes, right, but they were dating at the time,
I guarantee you.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
He was like, can you do this? Can you record this?
And she was like yes, of course, baby, And now
she's like no, but guys, sorry, Like that is an
iconic I know that.

Speaker 11 (29:35):
A lot of people just like have said bad money
like the whole time, so I.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Guess it again, bad money, babe. No, you know what,
it's crazy. As soon as I was reading the article,
I was like, I know the clip, like I have
her bad bunny baby, Like I've heard it. I know,
So yeah, we'll clip that so we can play it
of Alex. That is three things you need to know
her Friday, July tenth. The tickets to Neo and Acon

your hands on them. This week.

I don't know if you can do it.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
That would hurt you though.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
That hurts because I truly, even when I'm hungover, I
love a good fountain sprite. If I go to the movies,
I love a good fountain sprite every every turn.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah, I would take just like and then and then
when he was in defense of it, he said, yeah, like, well,
when I was in high school, well you read yes,
I knew that this was going to come back around
in high school.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I love sprite.

Speaker 2 (31:06):

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Time you had a fountain sprite?

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Well, never in my adult age, absolutely not ever. I
probably call it okay when I.

one hundred pounds. Yep, that's crazy.

Speaker 12 (34:43):
And now I get the need and you got the
need and half, so I can make sure I can
take care of myself. But I don't have to like
call people to do it as they get older.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
I like that. I think that that makes sense. That's
a smart play. How And the knee surgery went well,
it does.

Speaker 12 (34:57):
Yeah, I just didn't expect it to slow up twice
the size of my other leg and be covered in
bruises and whatnot. I wasn't expecting that part. But wow,
and better they have you walk that same day too.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Which which surgery was harder, the sleeve or the knee.

Speaker 12 (35:15):
Well, in all honesty, I've had seven surgeries in the
past six years. The knee has been the worst so far.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Fall seven, the knee has been the worst.

Speaker 7 (35:25):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (35:26):
Well I also had I had three of my discs
used in my neck too, and I had my shoulder replaced.
So I'm just flowing apart.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Like like, are you what is happening?

Speaker 12 (35:40):
That's no, I don't know. It's just disappearing.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
An Ultimate fighter by trade do you not, even.

Speaker 12 (35:48):
Alestian, that's the shoulder that went, but it's really hot.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Do you do you live alone?

Speaker 13 (35:56):
Actually?

Speaker 12 (35:56):
I rented room from somebody right now, so my friends
was coming over and checking on me every day.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Oh I love that.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Well, because you had said, you know, you want to
be able to take care of yourself, so I didn't
know if you had a partner in crime or if
you were just.

Speaker 12 (36:07):
Like you know, I'm fifty five now, so it's not can.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
I it's not going up.

Speaker 12 (36:14):

you know, help me be able to do a lot more.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Well, listen, it's Friday, it's the summer. What is something
that makes D happy?

Speaker 12 (36:31):
Normally sitting at home by myself, but I am so
lonely right now. I'm actually driving and going out for coffee.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
There you go, oh yeah, find a friend? Yeah yeah, yeah, okay,
yeah listen.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Sometimes be alone brings me joy as well. But then
other times I do want to be around people. So
I understand both things.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
I just needed to ask because every time you call me,
it's another surgery. So I'm like, let let's let's see
what makes D happy. Well, coffee makes everyone happy, So
go enjoy your cup. I'm glad to know that the
knee surgery went kind of well, although it was the
word of the seven. Yeah yeah, all.

Speaker 12 (37:02):
Right, babe, Well it hurt a lot more than I thought.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
You guys.

Speaker 12 (37:05):

All right?

Speaker 2 (37:10):

in your life, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Yeah yeah, yeah, sevens and aggressive number. That's She was like, yeah,
Gastric's sleeve was nothing that like shuts people down. That
was nothing, nothing met. Uh, Sam is in the South. Sure,
Sam and I had spoken, Oh, Sam, I remember this.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Your mom passed away and we had talked about it,
and the call was like very sad.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I think I think we both cried.

Speaker 8 (37:45):
Maybe yeah I did.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Yeah that's okay. I cried daily on this show. How
are we doing? Like, are we feeling okay?

Speaker 7 (37:55):
Better?

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Better?

Speaker 8 (37:56):
Yeah? Definitely, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
I mean I would assume, I mean, medication helps.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Well, I would assume that that kind of pain is
like a day to day you know something.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
You might see something and be like, oh that reminds
me of my mom, you.

It's the whole thing and people deck them out like
it is.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
No, it's a I feel like for the cape.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
It's kind of like a way of life, like most
people have the golf cart and for like the beach
drop offs and stuff.

Speaker 1 (41:18):

so I pursued it. It's not easy. It's not easy.
A lot of money I paid tuition, you know, but

(43:14):
I made it to the point where I don't even
have to work as much as other people. Honestly, thank
God for that.

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Yeah, seriously, you know what I mean going on?

Speaker 4 (43:23):
What I want to tell you the truth. Yeah, I
seen my son and my daughter do what you gotta do.
You know.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
I've seen some people online like try to teach others
how to do the day training and things like that,
and like the days that you grind, like you have
to grind, but you can make quite the life for yourself.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
I don't understand any of it.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
But I'm a two week salary in fifteen minutes no longer.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
So what job are you actually quitting today? What job
are you going to? And be like you're never going
to see me again.

Speaker 4 (43:53):

Speaker 1 (44:38):

Speaker 2 (44:40):

I was just wondering if, like all truck drivers know
about them. I love it all right, man, congrats, congrats
on your success.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
And tell the kids. I said, what's all right?

Speaker 4 (44:51):

want you to call me mother love.

Speaker 1 (45:18):
Mother love. Okay, mother love. What is happening in Providence?
What are you checking in about?

Speaker 14 (45:25):
Well, it's a bright sunny day. We all woke up
this morning. We're feeling great. I got my good health,
you know, and I wake up dancing in my house.
And I want to give out a challenge regardless of
what we have to endure in life, which we are

(45:46):
going to endure things in life, because that's why it's
called life. Yes, so I want to give a childnge.
I was waiting for everybody out here.

Speaker 7 (45:55):
What do we got in this world? That listens to
your stations?

Speaker 14 (45:59):
The challenge is wake up dancing and when you get
the chairs, get out of your car, stop your car
and get out and dance in the street.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
It's a big as it's dangerous depending on where I'm driving.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
No, No, I don't know about that. You know.

Speaker 14 (46:19):
What I'm saying is you don't do on the highway
or anything like that.

Speaker 7 (46:24):
If you can, if you have.

Speaker 14 (46:25):
A car and you're near Pokalon and you can pull over, dance.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
All right, I'm failure. I'm not doing that, but be
seems interested.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
I might.

Speaker 3 (46:38):
Okay, you never know. Well, you know, sometimes sometimes the
spirit hits you. Yeah, on a good Friday morning, right,
the sun like you said, mother, love, the sun is up.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
It's beautiful exactly.

Speaker 12 (46:51):
I feel to see our family again and love on them.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Get well, listen, you know what, the two of you
will be dancing in the rain. I love it all right, mother, love.
Thank you so much for the.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Call and you do and the challenge whole f on
that I am not. You're not You're not because I
would have to be drunk for that and I shouldn't
be driving. Got to dance like nobody's watch now, I'm
not going. Do we have time? Ash? Do we should we? Okay?

Speaker 3 (47:50):
You don't know about Rice? Wow? Wow?

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Okay, you know listen, I trust me. It's an asterisk
against him as well, Liz, I'm thinking about but thank you.
Thank you for listening to us, so we appreciate that.

Speaker 15 (48:05):
Of course, and you and your kids are so adorable.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Thank you, yes, as you not some of the people
on the Internet, but I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (48:12):
I've had, I've had. Part of the week was that.

Speaker 13 (48:15):
Not I saw.

Speaker 14 (48:17):
Oh my god, No, I was like why why?

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Yeah, I couldn't.

Speaker 2 (48:22):

as my second favorite.

Speaker 1 (48:25):
I was like, come here, little take it with mommy.
But no, you have some major pet news for me.

Speaker 7 (48:31):
Oh yeah, yes.

Speaker 15 (48:33):
So last year I got engaged for my birthday surprise engagement.
We've been talking about, well, he wanted to have more children.

Speaker 12 (48:42):
I don't want to have more children.

Speaker 15 (48:44):
I was like, okay, this compromise.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
We should get a dog.

Speaker 15 (48:47):
I've never had a pet. I've always been obsessed with
golden doodles and yep. So he surprised me and I
have to pick them up today.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
No, oh my god, where's he coming from? What's state?

Speaker 15 (49:04):
He's coming from Ohio?

Speaker 7 (49:07):
That I love.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
Au and I love a pup surprise even more.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
Seriously, Liz, you know I obviously have a golden doodle
as well.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
Teddy.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
He hails from Florida, and I had to go pick
him up, like I flew to Orlando, stayed there for
an hour, and I'll never forget the moment where the
guy just like handed him to me and they cost
a pretty penny and he just like he just handed
me Teddy and like left, and I was like, don't
is there any we don't need?

Speaker 1 (49:33):
That's it? Okay, But they really are. They're the best.
And they don't shed. I don't care what anybody says,
like they don't shed, and that's great exactly.

Speaker 15 (49:43):
My kids are extremely allergic to everything. So he did
right by researching and getting a golden.

Speaker 1 (49:48):
Doodle because that's did you guys name it yet?

Speaker 15 (49:51):
So yes, So he showed me a picture. He's a
chocolate brown he has one white paw.

Speaker 4 (50:00):
So.

Speaker 16 (50:03):
No kidding me. I am sweating. I am this is no.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
He's chocolate brown, one white paul. So we're naming him.
And she had bitch, if you don't call back, I
swear to god she has no I I I won't.
I will not finish this show if she doesn't call back.
Eighty seven seven six one seven, Liz, you better pick
up the phone. I hate how much this this this

(50:37):
show stresses me.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Out of course.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
I don't know how it couldn't be.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
I mean, if we would have had to have gone
the next two hours without knowing what this stupid.

Speaker 3 (50:46):
I would have never come back.

Speaker 1 (50:48):
I would I can't. My d ms are going crazy.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Everyone's like, wait a second, dude, wal like someone wrote
me and goes, we're just gonna.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
Have to make up our own and go with it
if we don't get back. But Liz actually called us back,
and thank God for that. Liz, what a cliffhanger.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
I just want to say that I have gotten a
few guesses in my dms. Oreo has been a guest
mitten Michael Jackson because the dog was described as chocolate
brown with one white. Paul Liz put this to rest.
You're picking up the dog, you're on the way. What
are you guys naming it?

Speaker 15 (51:19):
His name is Jackson.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
As in Michael Yes.

Speaker 16 (51:28):
Oh wait, I'm going back to DM.

Speaker 7 (51:32):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Shout out to Claudia. Claudia is the one that guessed
that idea Jackson. Wow. That's amazing. All right, Liz, you
gave me all I needed.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
And then thank you for that, because that would have
been horrible to go on Jackson.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Oh my god when.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
We were all fair during that, you guys, I was like,
I swear to God. If she calls back and she's like, yeah,
he's a chocolate lab.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
He has a white Paul and her named him Sparky
out of it. It has nothing to do with the description,
but there you have it. Everyone, We can all sleep tonight.
The dog's name is going to be Jackson for Michael
