Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh what did I say? What did I predict you, guys?
I said, Oh, nobody cares. Anthony is supposed to be
joining us today, but he's in Houston partying with Cape Verdians,
having himself a time at pool parties.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Okay, I'm not even mad at that. No, Yeah, I
wish I was with him.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
I text him yesterday and I said, hey, are we
good for tomorrow? I know you're in Houston and he.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Writes back, I'm an idiot and my flight isn't even
back home to Boston until tonight, like Tuesday night.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
You know what I'm saying. It's like I can't. I can't.
I can't be out here chasing people.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Hey, cave Verdians are gonna party. That's one thing. Now,
they're gonna party.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
He probably had an earlier flight scheduled in the Cape.
Ritian's like, you're not leaving, You're not leaving, not going anywhere,
so he says, and in capitals, he says he will
be joining us the next two days, both Wednesday and Thursday.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
But I will believe it when I see it.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, I mean, cave Verdi is playing on Friday, so
he might just stay out there party.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
I imagine. It's fine if he does.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
But you know what, why don't you guys go into
his DMS at nobody cares Anthony and harass him. Oh
please go harass him and say, guess what you told Ashley?
You were gonna be there Wednesday and Thursday. You better
not be out here changing flights, sir, You better not.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Anyways, what's up?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
You were later than usual, and I was hoping you
came in with a massive whipped cream coffee.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
You know, you know what's funny? I was like, damn,
I got this new water bottle yesterday, and now I'm like,
now she could see how light my coffee is.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
It is? It's translucent, so I can see that.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I can see.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
It's like, you know, pretty much clear. Did you even
put coffee in that thing?
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I did?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah? So what's we love playing this game?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
What? What's the recipe you got going on in there today?
It's the honey no sugar drizzles, but it's just regular.
It's actually dark roast, right. There is not a singular
dark thing about that coffee.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
But go on, like a little of that ice coffee
mix that I got, And I'm telling you I didn't
even put that much. And then I put like a
little like tablespoon shach oh, Okay, it's got to taste.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
And honey drizzle and a Snickers bar. Yeah, have you trace?
Have you tasted it?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I haven't. I'm honestly this morning I woke up late,
so I was like, all right, I just I made
the coffee last night to cool down. Yeah, and then
I was like, I just got to figure it out.
It's gonna taste. How was gonna taste?
Speaker 1 (02:24):
What like, give me three luxury things that aren't necessary
that you feel like you spend money on clothes?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
No, I don't feel like I buy a lot of clothes. Okay,
I feel like going out to eat is probably at
the top of the list.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Okay, so my tie make a suggestion.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Okay, if going out to eat is the let's just
say you're going out Monday through Friday.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Okay, why don't we cook up a little steak on
a Monday.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Okay, we stay at home, we grill up, we do something,
and then there that is the thirty six dollars right there.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
For the coffee for the So I don't got to
look at this. I'm just saying, you know what I mean,
we could pick one day a week. We could chef
it up at home and then we could you know,
have our coffee.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Well that is the goal, right, that was supposed to
be the goal for every morning I was supposed to
make my breakfast. Actually bought egg whites yesterday, and do
you know what I do not have today? My egg white? Yeah,
so I do.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I can't talk.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
I actually forgot my too, So I'll be ordering okay, yeah,
we'll be ordering together. Anyways, you guys, that is what
we got going on. Maybe nobody cares. Anthony will be
here the next day, the next couple of days, maybe
he will not. I was literally out of my mind yesterday.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
I was screaming on the phone.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
My eyes were like bulging out of my head, and
I'm like, how is it? It's always the short weeks
that sent me to the moon. I Like people always say, oh,
it's a short week, which I love that it's a
short week. But the drama always comes during short weeks.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's just, you know, I was in an argument about
us song title. Oh what I know?
Speaker 1 (04:03):
I know. I was in an argument over a stupid
song title of a song that we play. I'm not
gonna get into it. But it was work drama. It's
always work drama.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
And you know what's so crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I had the girls by myself during said work drama
and I was yelling so hard on the phone that
Leila was going, Mommy, please stop, and I said, well
that is called what it's called.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Anyways, Hi, guys, good morning. It's not me without the drama,
you know.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
And the jam In Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
And you need to know.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
We got you three things you need to know on
Bustin's Number one for hip hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Do you haven't any?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Four? Five?
Speaker 6 (04:42):
Do you ever been in this position for Paraguay?
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Please, guys Tuesday and thirtieth and let me tell you something.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
It was exciting over there at Boston Stadium.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Germany eliminated by Paraguay after a penalty shootout extra time.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
When you think the World Cup, this is what you're thinking, like.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Penalty kicks four to three was the penalty shootout score
an extra time And let me just tell you Germany
was not.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Expected to take this l I didn't, I didn't know
who was. Yeah, you to die.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
And then I will come in this morning and I'm
watching and I'm reading and the German fans.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
They are not happy. Paraguay woke up extremely thrilled.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
I was watching German like news. I saw Clay, but
I'm saying that Paraguay was no threat at all, that
we're a third tier team. Do we never give up?
Speaker 3 (05:41):
You know, we fight until we fight until we die? Dude,
I followed them.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I would start to chant third tier team, third tear team.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Just get it going, So shout out to Paraguay. What
a time.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
I just that excitement, like you don't even have to
like the sport. A penalty kickout, come on, I mean shootout.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I'm learning.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
I'm learning slowly, by the way, only one game left
at Boston Stadium, So sad.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
What game is that?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
That's gonna be the quarter final. We don't have the
teams yet, and that's gonna be next week on the ninth.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
But it is so sad to say goodbye.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
And I was saying this yesterday and I got to
kick a couple DMS from people agreeing. It's like FIFA,
really the World Cup really changed us here in Boston.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
I don't know, it's certainly left its mark.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
I feel as if now you know, in four years,
I'll want to tune in like I'll be wrapped up
in it.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I don't think you're gonna be as wrapped up in
it me neither, but I think you're gonna be, oh, well,
who's in?
Speaker 3 (06:31):
You know?
Speaker 2 (06:31):
You can be like what time is kickoff?
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
The fact that I go back to this a.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Million times, the fact that it's here and it's in
our face forced us to kind of like get into
the different cultures and kind of learn.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
And I think.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
The biggest takeaway that I have had from the World
Cup is, damn are people prideful about where they're from?
Speaker 3 (06:50):
And I love to see that.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah, And I think just meeting people from all over
the content like, it's just it's been great.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
It really has so one more game here in Boston
next Thursday. In the meantime, let's talk about Ariana Grande
and these shows. I went down to Kiss One wait
this morning, guys, because I was like, I gotta get
the tea. What's going on with Ariana Grande? I saw
the garden posts like a black screen with a bunch
of writing, and I saw her name and I was like,
oh my.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
God, she's canceling shows, Like what's going on? She's not
she's rescheduling.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
By the way, Ari had three sold out shows at
the Garden that sold out in like ero point zero
five seconds.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
No like tickets moved crazy. It was nuts.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
But basically she had a show Wednesday, July twenty second
that's been rescheduled to Thursday. Her Friday show is now
going to take place on Sunday, and the Saturday show
will stay, so one show remaining. Two other ones moved around.
Kiss told me there's really nothing crazy going on, no drama.
The Garden themselves said that this is quote to ensure
(07:50):
the full production can be delivered safely and as intended.
They said, we apologize for the inconvenience. All tickets will
be honored with the new dates, and ticket holders will
be contacted directly with additional information. I think if I'm
somebody that bought tickets for the Wednesday show and now
it's Thursday, that I'd what if.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
You took off? That would be the only one where
I'd be like the other ones are on the weekend.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Yeah, well, I think if you had to like put
in for a day, that might cause some dram But
the positive is she didn't cancel the show. This isn't
like Justin Bieber, Hey, I'm not well in canceling my
whole tour. This is we're moving the dates around. What
is she doing on this stage that they didn't have
the production stuff?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Reddy?
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yeah, I've never seen. I mean, normally they're going from
city to city and setting up same day, right, So
I'm wondering, I like, what's going on with this production.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Or are we using production to mask something else?
Speaker 1 (08:42):
But then it's not like she's not still doing the shows,
because I thought maybe there was some drama by the way,
she's been numb. She sings the song we're playing on
her she sings, she sings thank you next on this tour,
and she's been moving the lyrics around and she talks
about Ricky in this song, and she switched the lyrics
because she was just seen hanging out.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
With Ricky again her ex.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
See.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I know some things, guys, I know if you think
about a few things, all right. And lastly, Jules brought
this to me.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yesterday and he was like, ash CARDI went on live
after the BET Awards and I was like, let's stay
away from it right now. Let's concentrate on the good
things that are happening in the BET Awards. Uh, but
the the actual live itself kind of went overnight. So
I just want to make sure you guys are hip
to what's going on. So remember Cardi performed Pretty and
Petty at the BET Awards.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Here's a clip they got these songs gone head he.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
And then the mist.
Speaker 7 (09:41):
How my presink God not to how bad the damn
the said to meself, he.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Gotta look around here looking Nike, you don't like Cardi.
You don't know that song. You're walking. You hear that song,
You're immediately like, I don't like Bea either.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
You have to.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
You're like, who is the Bea? What is it? I
don't like it either. It's the song goes like, so
you have to.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
But Carny, I think, you know, maybe it's the mom
and her she's turning over a new leaf.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
She goes on live after the BET Awards and says this, I.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
Really really loved that song. It turns people up. However,
I know I know my fans is gonna hate this,
but please don't pick.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
On that girl.
Speaker 7 (10:21):
I am very big against internet like bullying unless my
fans have to. Unless my fans got.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
A drag, I'm with that.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
But if somebody not bothering me, and I feel like
she's not bothering me. I don't want I don't want
to be the reason why somebody gets on the internet
and have a bad day or get depressed or feel
bad or feel like the world is against them, because
I really went through that before. I really really went
through that before. And like I went through that in
twenty eighteen, in twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, twenty twenty one,
(10:52):
twenty twenty two, when all these bitches was against me,
when all these blogs was against me, when every single
day it was a bad viral tweet about me. And
I don't like teaching bitches a lesson, like me, bitch,
I'll show you. But then after a while, like I'm
one of those people that like that, I'll kill you,
and then I feel bad that I killed you.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
It's this, like I love the message and I get
what she's saying. When she made that song, like her
and Bea were beefing, and then that how would she
ever know that this song was gonna have the.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Longevity that it has.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
I mean, you hope every time you make a song,
but now she can't not perform it, and the part
of the song is the part of the song.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yeah, but her going up on live saying all this
after she just performed this song in front of like
millions of people on TV and that was living forever
on on the GRAM like forget it.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
So here's what I said.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
You you she does, she does her performance the BT,
which she doesn't do pretty and petty.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Everyone's like what yeah, like it would be weird.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
And if you don't know the song, guys, there's a
literal part in the song where she says like hey.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
She says, hey, name a be a song? Like I'll
wait and she.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Stops down, like what you did at her concerts you
could have heard a pin drop, Like no one said anything.
Speaker 7 (12:03):
I e.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
You can't even name it be.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
A song because you don't I can name it, yeah,
and let's thank God for that. I'm looking at jeweles
in a b a T shirt like, and this man
is wearing bea Birch. So I'm glad that you can
name at least one, because that would be bad. It's
like when I wear my rocker teas and they see
me the Hollway.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Can you name a song?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I'm like, no, now a singular one that has three
things need to know For Tuesday, June thirtieth, I keep
forgetting and I shouldn't because America's birthday is days away.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
We're celebrating the Big two fifty, and.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
We're giving you twenty five hundred dollars every single morning.
It happens at eight am, Like I said, easy way
to win twenty five hund dough because you're already listening
to the show anyway. So once you hear that keyword
at eight am, you're gonna enter it at GM ninety
four or five dot com or where most of you
listen anyway, right there on the iHeartRadio app. Hi, guys,
good morning, Happy Tuesday. We're moving short weak it's almost Friday.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Babyshy Morning Show Bustin's number one for hip hop jam
in ninety four or five.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Guys, good morning.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I was just thinking about how, you know, my dad
was here for Daisy's birthday and it was great, and
then he was gone, and I feel like I really
haven't spoken to him since. And this is this is
back to the thing. You know, I'm reading this book.
I'm going all over the place, but following along reading
this book, and the mother in the book is dating somebody,
(13:26):
and she's older, she's like in her I think she's
like late sixties, early seventies. And she tells her son,
she says, yes, I'm I'm spending time with this new person.
And in this age of mine, in this like time
period of my life, it's just all about the company.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Like I enjoy the company.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
And that stood out to me because we all know,
you know, my dad's situation with his girlfriend and what's
been going on with that, and he just so much
so enjoys her company and the month long span in
which that they weren't together, he was sad because he
missed her company.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
So now you know he's out here. He's here for
Daisy's birthday.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
He walks in with like seventy five gifts, and obviously
I know that she sent those gifts. And it's just
been a weird thing because her and I, like, we
don't speak, and I know that's for the best, because
the last time I did speak to her, it was
really it got really ugly between the two of us
(14:26):
because remember she's I mean, I don't think it's a
secret to you guys. I was telling you all about her,
and then I completely stopped talking about her, and that
was because you know, she put the handcuffs on me
and basically said like, I don't want you speaking about
me on the radio. I'm worried that if I come
to Boston everybody will hate me. And I was like, honey,
it's it's one hundred percent not like that. And it's
hard to explain radio and entertainment and stuff to people
(14:47):
who kind of aren't in it. But I did because
I so much so want that happiness for my dad,
and I know he enjoys so much so being around
so I stopped talking about her. Now, obviously, he comes
on the show when he was here for Daisy's birthday
and I asked, are you single? And he's like, yeah, oh,
(15:08):
I thought you meant married, and blah blah blah. So
he did, you know, say that he has a girlfriend again,
and so they're dating again. But remember my last exchange
with her was it was not good like it was
it was.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
It was not a good one.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
But one thing that I've really noticed is when she's
back on the inn, I don't hear from that man
like that.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
And I know what you guys are gonna say. I
have to be okay with.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
That, and I am, but he's it feels like not
going to reach out and call me if she's around.
And I'm sure that goes back to do we remember
the conversation that I had where like I would call
him and she would answer the phone, or like she
would do all the talking, and it would be strange
because I'm like, oh, I actually wanted to chat with
(15:53):
him for a second. So now I think there's this
weird like point trying to be proven, like I'm just
I won't call you.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Then around her is that there's no issues.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
So I don't hear from him like that, and it's strange,
But I also know that I think I just I
think I just have to eat this one.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Guys, I really don't know what else to say.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
I mean, it's like dan if I do, Dan if
I don't, I'm like a weird out if I blow
him up and I'm like, why.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Aren't your job in to May? And then on the
opposite end of that, he's still my dad, But I
don't know, it's just it's this weird it's this weird
feeling of.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
He feels like that part of his life has to
be completely separate from me and my brother, like we
can't know anything. We can't see the woman, we can't
talk to the woman, and I don't really have much
to say to her. I said my piece to her,
and that's fine. But if they're going to continue on
and she's they're gonna be together like at this part
of his life? Am I crazy to think that she
(16:56):
would want to reach out and have some sort of
open dialogue with my brother and I, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Explain this to me because it seems like when she
how are.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
You around for the beginning of this, I don't remember
how much you know.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
I know that well, obviously I was here when your
father was here, so I heard all that, and I
also heard pretty much your recap. So that's pretty much
what I got. Like, I don't know much more after
that got it. But it seems like when you used
to call him, she would pick up. Do you think
(17:28):
that was her way of maybe trying to talk to you?
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Well, it was more.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
It was more than just picking up. It was I
would text him and she would respond. She would be
the one doing the texting and stuff, and I didn't
like that. So I would say to my dad, like, hey,
I feel a little bit uncomfortable because when I call
you or when I text you, it's it's not going
to you. What if I want to talk to you
about something in private. So then obviously I talked about
that on the show, and she didn't like that because
she thought I was making her out to be an enemy.
(17:55):
And I was like, no, I was really just having
a conversation of like it's it's it was always more
so on my than anything. But the real issue started
with her just to kind of hip you guys all
the way back in she so long story short, Jewels,
I went out Christmas time for like a dinner, and
(18:15):
my dad was sitting next to myself and one of
my good friends.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
We took a photo.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
That photo we sent to her and joked like, oh,
you know, my dad's on a date tonight.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
And.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
She lost it, like wow, uh oh, I'm.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
She dumped him, said she wasn't gonna speak to him again.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Like it turned into she said that her friends had
seen it on my Instagram and let her know that
it was inappropriate and all this stuff, and it's like,
do you really think that right on under my nose?
I would allow first off it, like but yeah, she
dumped him, And so then fast forward on Christmas. He's depressed,
(18:57):
He's sitting in the corner. He's like sad, and his
Budweisers all for them her to take her, take him back.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Like right after that, this is when he jumped on
the dating site and he was trying to shoot a
shot that was no further down.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
That was further down the road.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Because yeah, they ended up getting back and then they
you know, cause I like begged her and I was like, dude, please, yeah,
which all my friends are like, they were proud of me.
I think even listeners were calling in and you guys
were like.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Out, I'm proud of you.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, And I said, listen, he really loves you and
he loves spending time with you. Nothing happened, like she
literally was sitting in the booth next to him. That
is one of my best friends, Like, it's.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Not like that.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
But then people thought that was weird too that I
had to say that. But anyways, they they, yeah, they
got back after that. Then then something else happened and
I talked about it on the show and it just whatever.
She had asked me not to speak about it, and
clearly I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
A great job. Yeah I did. I did. I do.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
I did, so, Yeah, it's you know, I know that
not hearing from him is a good thing now in
a sense of like she's there and she's spending time
and that. That and the book really stood out to
me because I mean, listen, he's not going to get remarried.
He obviously is gonna have newer kids all that, but
he does just genuinely enjoy having somebody to watch his
(20:12):
football with, watch the horses with, go to the bar with,
like golf with.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
He he loves the company.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
My grandmother was single for easily fifty years after she
got divorced. For my grandfather, she was single for fifty years.
And later in life she told my mother, because my
mother's single as well, she said, you know, you really
need to find somebody, because, yeah, my one regret in
life is not having some type of companionship, not like
(20:39):
just somebody to like chill with, right, talk right, like
just not even the other stuff, yeah, like just kind
of you know, watch TV. Right, So yeah, I understand
what your dad is going through.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Yeah no, and I at forget what you mean, Like
it's companion, don't have to worry about the other stuff.
But the other stuff's definitely happening because my brother rolled
up to my dad's apartment over the week again and
he goes ash.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
There was so much mail enhancement drugs in that house.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
I was like, Yeah, Ashley and Jamie Body Show when
you need to know, we got you three things you
need to know on Bustin's number one for Hip Ho
and the best throwbags you haven't eighty four five If.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
You ever been in this position for Paraguay byesimany out Welcome.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
Cup Tuesday, June thirty of it.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
I feel like, if you're someone who doesn't have a
ton of soccer knowledge like I, you picture those final
moments in the game when the game's tied up and
you have the penalty shootouts and Amanda.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Binds is out there like listen, I know that feeling of.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Just oh my god, penalty shootouts literally ending your whole
livelihood and the World Cup. And that happened yesterday to
Germany eliminated by Paraguay four to three in that penalty shootout.
It was so exciting, and I think it was even
more exciting for the Paraguay fans because Germany was talking
that talk.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
I was watching German like news.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
I saw click but I'm saying that Paraguay was no
threat at all, that we're a third tier team.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Do we never give up?
Speaker 3 (22:17):
You know, we fight until we fight until we die. Well,
they're gonna be eating those words for some time.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
So there you have it. Germany eliminated at Boston Stadium.
The next game at Boston Stadium will be the last.
It's the quarterfinal, it's next week. I am so painfully
sad to see the World Cup leave our home.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Who are your top two teams? I already know like
America is number.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
One, yeah, and then Croatia.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Well, Croatia's not in it.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Croatia plays tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
They played tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
How do you think this is?
Speaker 1 (22:46):
You?
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (22:47):
This is getting like low key crazy with Jules. He's
always trying to see you.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
I haven't talked about Croatia one time, and.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Everybody on this show's knows I'm Croatian.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
No, no, no, I'm talking about the team.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Yeah, but right, I don't talk about suck. But if
you're asking, you can't get mad at me when you
ask me who are my two favorite teams? Did I answer?
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I mean, I'll put Scotland at three if I must,
But I can't not put her with my grandmother shot
the Nune would be rolling in her grave.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah, no, no, I didn't know that they were in
the World Cup right now.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Yes, you'll was there in the World Cup.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
My fault.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
I'm sorry to my fellow Croatians that this man I'm
assuming yours is Cape Bird.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
I'm rocking with with USA and Kpebird.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Those USA place tomorrow night.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Did you know that I did not?
Speaker 3 (23:31):
You did not know that? You did not? You did
not know that? All right?
Speaker 1 (23:35):
So what's the drama with Ariana Grande? This story was
everywhere yesterday. This woman has three sold out shows at
the Garden, And when I saw the black screen with
the writing, I thought to myself, this isn't good. Something's happening,
something's popping off. Now it's not a Justin Bieber situation.
She didn't cancel her tour, but she rescheduled some of
her dates.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
These tickets were insane.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Girls were buying them for like rent checker, and they
sold out so fast. She moved her July twenty second show,
which was a Wednesday, to a Thursday, and then she
moved her Friday show to a Sunday with a Saturday
show sandwiched in between that one did not move, so
essentially she will be here Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. A lot
of chatter online people.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Are wondering if them saying.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
That there's production issues could be a cover for something else.
But what, like, I mean, I guess the only thing
that would have done really is give her another off day.
But they said to ensure the full production can be
delivered safely and as intended.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
All tickets will be honored with the new dates, and
ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional information.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
The positive is here, the show will go on. But
what's going on with Ari? What's the drama? Is she
hiding something? What's the two?
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Don't?
Speaker 2 (24:49):
I don't think so? It really does sound like production stuff.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
It does, But with that one, like she's been doing
her show in other cities, So did they not have
a couple of hooks that they needed at the garden? Like?
I don't.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Do you think maybe she's just like she just needs
more time for rest.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Could be yeah, I mean she's very thin, so maybe
she needs more time.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
To just like rest her little bones. She like she's tiny. Next,
Oh my god, they'd be like, who's this gargantwin, It's
just me.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
For some reason, I can't think about Ariana Grande without
thinking about that the donut incident.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Do you remember that when she went viral?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Do you remember that, a j when she she went
into a donut shop with her little boyfriend at the time,
and she licked a donut on the counter and then left.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
She got caught, No like crazy.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
She thought she was like being funny, cutesy, and she
got caught, licked the donut and left. Yeah, people were
mad at her for that for a long I'm still
mad actually talking about it.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yeah, that's well, A that's Grossbye, eat the donut? What
are you doing? All right?
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Lastly, this brought AJ and I so much joy this morning.
We were talking about it.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Fettie Wop got his own meal at Jimmy John's. I
know you didn't see back coming.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
The fact that you you set it up with. You
and AJ were so happy that Betty wops at Jimmy.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yeah, you're right, I stand corrected.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
It really isn't much about the meal, it's about the
commercial behind the meal.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Here's the commercial.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I'm ab dress some food. Man, Hey, what up?
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I'm like, hey, what's a pillow? Welcome to Jimmy John's.
What can I get for you?
Speaker 7 (26:28):
I'll do the seventeen thirty eight bail one Buffalo Ranch
chicken wrap, Buffalo Jimmy Chips and a drink.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Wait, does this make me your rap queen? Okay, yeah baby, whoa,
here's your fetti rap meal. Right.
Speaker 7 (26:46):
It's just that's a wrap, get it and you got
that soda.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Come on, not the lyrics, but I appreciate it though, Like, yeah,
I see what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Is fine.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Okay, that's cool. Yeah, thank you. We're gonna take this
wrap tomor.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Rap the seventeen thirty eight Fetty Wrap.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Mail available in now.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I had Jimmy Johns listen.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
This is like crazy to me because this means that
somebody high up at Jimmy John's random as hell.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Was like fetti wop. Yeah, Like to me, that is
so random.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
I understand when these bit like a Travis Scott gets
a McDonald's meal Fetty was just locked up twenty minutes ago.
So now he gets out and somebody at Jimmy Johns
is like, I got it.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
We'll do this.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
We'll do fetti wop and do this seventeen thirty eight.
Heal know fun fact. I have never once in my
life had Jimmy John's. Me neither, but I but people
love it. I've heard it's good. We we looked it
up to make sure there are locations here in mass
for Jimmy John's.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Yeah, Jimmy John's.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
I don't even know what I just saying. That wasn't funny. Wap,
I don't know what that was, all right?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
The three things need to know for Tuesday, June thirtieth,
My apologies. Listen when you're on the app listening, because
I know that's where a lot of you listen. Just
make sure you add us. As the Number one said,
I always tell you running all at war with kiss
oneawait who has more Number one presets?
Speaker 3 (28:03):
I need it to be us to make sure you
add us.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Good morning, It's Ashley and the jam In Morning.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
Show and it's time for another DM dilemma.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Hi guys, good morning Fashing the jam In Morning Show.
Uh listen, everybody goes through something and we all have problems.
I think the reason I love DM dilemma so much
is because we don't know anybody in your problems. You know,
we're not close to it in a sense, and we
can hear what you're going through. We can offer our
advice just outsiders looking in. So Anonymous doesn't want to
(28:37):
call on the phone because she is with the kiddos
as we speak, but she is live in the DM
with me. So if you guys call in and you
have any follow ups, we can ask her and we
can get some more answers. But here's the original message
that she sent me. Hey, Ash, I'm looking for some
perspective Anonymous. Please my boyfriend and I have two young
(28:58):
kids together, and I have my oldest from my previous marriage,
and we've been stuck in the same cycle for years.
Whenever I tell him that the way he speaks to
me or he treats me hurts me, instead of talking
about it, he'll either completely shut down or find something
else to be mad at me for instead. For example,
last week, he brought up that I went to the
Cape overnight with my cousins instead of addressing what I
(29:21):
was saying. This weekend, after another argument, I packed up
the kids and stayed at my sisters. I feel like
I've tried talking, I've tried explaining, I've begged for change
and every other approach that I can think of. Leaving
finally felt like my last ditch effort to finally break
the cycle.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
How do you know when you've truly tried everything.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Versus when it is time to walk away or to
get a grown man to communicate better?
Speaker 3 (29:44):
I am so desperate.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
We just bought and moved into a house only a
month ago. He basically acts like since he pays the mortgage,
he can talk and treat me, however, and honestly speaks
super degrading to me. However, he makes three times as
much as me, and I work full time as well well.
I pay utilities and all the other household needs like groceries,
et cetera, and he doesn't count any of that.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
So again, she's live in here.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
If we have any follow up questions, I guess one
of my first questions would be how long has he
been treating you this way?
Speaker 3 (30:16):
I'm gonna type that one out because.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
If this is a new thing, okay, I need to
know how new Because moving into a home and making
that leap after knowing that this is the way this
guy treats you, that's a massive leap of faith to
hope that maybe something is gonna change because buying a
house may be up all my top four of the
(30:41):
most stressful things I've ever done in my life. Like
I wanted to rip my hero out.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
That was so stressful.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Obviously it's great now that's a really stressful process to do,
and then to have to deal with that as well.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
She goes, I said, how long have you been treated
like this?
Speaker 1 (30:56):
At least the last two years more mildly, but I
definitely think that house has escalated things. It's like it
put him on a power trip. This is interesting eight seven, seven, six, one, seven,
one nine four five eight seven seven six one seven
one nine four five. Have you ever been in this
situation or you have some input. So they move into
this house only a month ago, and once they move
(31:19):
into the house, he starts paying for the bills and
she pays utilities groceries. But because he pays the bills,
she thinks he thinks he can talk to her however
he wants.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Now.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
In the previous years, the examples would be, you know,
she would say, hey, I don't like that you do
ABC and D and he'd say, well, you went to
the Cape over the weekend and did an overnight. He
always has an answer instead of kind of addressing what's
at hand. She did say, before moving in, we had
a huge conversation about how I couldn't live this way
and would this be my life if we move in?
(31:51):
He promised it wouldn't be. But here we are, damn
all right? What do you guys think? Before I I
won't give my my.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Thought on it.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
But eight seven seven six one four five eight seven
seven six one seven nine four five.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
She has two kids, one with this guy, one not.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
They have had kind of a tumultuous relationship in a
sense of she has sat him down, she's asked him
to change. He hasn't they buy this house, he says,
if we move into the house, none of this stuff
will carry over. It'll be different. He pays the bulk
of the bills at the house, and now he just
feels like he can say whatever he wants because he's
making the mortgage payment. She has since packed the kids
(32:29):
up and moved to her sisters, but she's worried.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Am I jumping the gun on this?
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Is this? How it's gonna be for forever? Eight seven
seven six one seven one nine four five.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Talk to me, guys, what do we think? Hi, babe,
good morning. It is Ashley in the jam In Morning Show. Listen.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
I do want to note that if you're listening to
this conversation you're like, damn, I'm going through something too.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
I need their help.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
You can always DM me at Ashley Feldman to ease
on the Ashley Anonymous is live with us. In the chat,
and before I get to her scenario, she did ask
me to make it very clear to you, guys. She said,
it's important to let them know and to note that
I ultimately want this to work, but I'm just at
a breaking point. She talked about the same cycle that
she's been in for years with her boyfriend. You know,
(33:12):
she said, when I sit him down and say, hey,
this is making me feel ABC and D, instead of
addressing those issues, he'll be like, well you went to
the Cape overnight with your cousin, instead of actually talking
about what she wants to talk about.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
A month ago, guys, thirty days.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Ago they signed sealed, moved into a brand new home,
and she said he basically acts like since he pays
the mortgage, he can talk and treat me. However, and
honestly speaks super degrading to me. However, he does make
three times more money. I work full time as well.
I pay utilities and other household needs like groceries, et cetera.
He doesn't count any of that. I had at first
said they had two children. I was wrong on that
(33:47):
they have three children. For contact the ages here, guys.
She has a seven year old, a three year old,
and an eighteen month old. The seven year old is
not biologically his, but he's been around since she was three,
and then three and the eighteen month old are you
know his kids? And she has since been like, I
(34:07):
got to get out of here, and she has moved
in with her sister in the meantime.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
So she's basically asking.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
Us, how do you know when you've truly tried everything
versus when it's time to walk away? Or how do
you get a grown man to communicate better? My dms
are a lot of the same. It's time to go
when you don't feel like yourself anymore, then you second
guess yourself. And my last breakup, I prayed for a
sign and I got two.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
And I left.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
I am wishing her the best.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
My man pays my rent, my man pays my utilities,
and my man does not treat me, like, you know what,
she needs to leave him.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
My response this.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Morning, when you pack up the kids and you leave
to go to your sister's house, that is an indicator
that it is time to move on. Jules, I know
you said you wanted to weigh in on this. We
have a bunch of people on hold too.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Yeah. I feel like a lot of people are saying
you need to leave, you need to leave. I don't
think you need to make that jump right now. I
feel like you should try to figure out how to
work it out, maybe go to counseling, because once it's over,
it's over. And and for the record, I don't think
(35:14):
he's treating you the way you should be treated. However,
you need to let him know that this is serious.
You guys need to figure out how to get help.
And you know, once once a relationship is always fighting
right and not necessarily in a bad way. If you
stop fighting for the relationship, okay, there we go. Oh yeah,
(35:36):
if you stop fighting for the relationship, you know it's over.
And if he stops fighting for the relationship, like you,
guys both have to be fighting to stay together. Relationships
are tough, and I'm sure you could attest to this.
Actually they're coming like not every day of sunshine, right
and and and everybody goes through that that period where
things just suck and you just want to give up.
(35:58):
But you know, at the same time, he's got to
be willing to work on what's going on and what
he's what he's not doing, and he can't treat you
like trash.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah, and listen, I will agree to you know, No,
not every day in a relationship is great, but I've
never typed out the words he's degrading to me.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
And you say, she needs to make him know that
it's serious.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
She's moved in with her sister with the babies, like
they have little kids seven three and eighteen months. I
don't know how much more serious. And I did just
ask her because you said it would he go to counseling.
It's always promised and never followed through with let's go
to the phones. See what everybody else thinks anonymous, good morning,
good morning.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
So she's listening and she's messaging us through the app.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
So if you have anything to say, you can specifically
say to her, But also what is your take, like
stay or go at this point?
Speaker 2 (36:50):
No, no, no, go, go go You.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
Verbalize everything you had to say. You physically left, but
it was for a day, two days, two hours you left.
You showed him he don't care. He promised you he
was gonna change when you guys bought the house. Clearly
that hasn't changed. And that indicator right there is telling
you it's not going to change. It's going to get different,
maybe worse, could get worse. Right now, it's only verbal.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
It could be physical.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
It's only verbal right now. He's seeing how far he
can take you, seeing how part he can get you.
He got two.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
Kids, physically, two kids out of you.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
The other one's not yours.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
He got physically two kids out of you.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
That's he's you're not going it's in his eyes. And
if she's thinking gets stuck. Yeah, Well, if she's thinking, like,
who are you lady? What are your credentials? Tell everybody
how long of a relationship you were in that was
very similar?
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Ten years?
Speaker 3 (37:45):
Ten years?
Speaker 4 (37:46):
You stay about halfway through it. I thought of it
comes to my sensus. The other half of stillch I
figure it out.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
She has topport clearly where her sister use that, use
it to your advantage.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
I don't have the support. Yeah, if I did, I
would not be on this line.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Wow, all right, Babell, thank you for your input. I
want you to know.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
She also just wrote me and said he'll agree to
the apology tour, and then weeks later he says, no,
I don't believe in therapy.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Verynique is in Lowell, Hi, Verynique in morning.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Good morning, staying.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
I can hear you, Crystal clear, stay or go.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
Nope, she has to go. It's a toxic relationship. He's
very immature. He runs her in circles, won't have a
conversation with her. I believe that, you know, people change,
but their patents don't. He's disrespecting you. You have kids,
you can't show them that. That's an example of what
a relationship is. And you know, with a whole therapy thing.
(38:46):
I think once you're degraded, and you can have bad
days in a relationship, but to be degraded and disrespected,
that's on a different level.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Hey couldn't agree with you more. And that stands out
to me. I see somebody right, like you know, my
husband or my boyfriend degrades me that So that's like
a like that wording like to say that is that
I don't think you come back from that now, Listen.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
I'm also somebody that's like yo.
Speaker 1 (39:08):
She had a seven three and an eighteen month old,
like I can't. You know, you so badly want to
make it work. You want dad to be present, but
you also have to take care of yourself, like you.
Speaker 4 (39:20):
Said, and most importantly, the kid's mental health and how
they grow up.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
Get out now you're right, all right, Thank you so
much for the call. I just got this message too. Uh.
Please please keep me anonymous, but it's not going to
get any better. It sounds a lot like what I
went through with my ex husband. She's saying that it
got it worse when they bought that house. I experienced
that too, but it also it was always bad. I
just think I had on rose colored glasses for a
long time. My ex was also somebody who felt entitled
(39:48):
because of money and paying bills, which is wild because
for a long time he wasn't paying bills.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
He was taking my.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Portion of our bills and gambling it. And after we
had our house and a baby, it got even worse.
My house was almost in foreclosure. He was stealing money
from people and his job. He almost went to jail
every time we fought. He would make it about himself
he was going through something, or that I was the problem.
He would call me names, and he was absolutely awful
to me when he was angry, and then he would
sweep it under the rug and act nice again. I
know some people are saying, try counseling and try working
(40:15):
it out, but at what point do you stop sacrificing
your own peace?
Speaker 2 (40:19):
But you know what, you know, you know what the
common uh, the common thing in all these women's responses
is this is what I went through. This is but
you're not her, right, So you got to figure out
what's gonna work for you. If he's not trying to
do counseling, if he's not trying to make it work,
(40:40):
if he's not trying to change one hundred percent, you
got to make that move. Yeah, you can't squin that
relationship that that that's easy, but you also have to
hold him accountable. Right, Like if you're saying, hey, we're
we're doing counseling, all right, I'm setting it up like
you need you need to take that step, you need
to do that. But I agree, if he's not doing
(41:02):
what he needs to do to make things better and
make amends and you know, hurt people, hurt people like
he's got something going on. And if this isn't how
he was acting three years ago in the relationship, two
years ago in the relationship, if this is something newer,
maybe something's going on with him.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
It seems like it's a cycle. Like she said, it's
been going on. It seems like it's almost gotten worse
since they moved in. I just asked her the ultimate,
give me one reason why you would take those kids,
move them back in and stay. And she said, when
it's good, it's good. So it shows me that he's capable.
But that's exactly the cycle. I paid the house down myself,
and I paid down his credit cards so we'd have
(41:39):
the correct debt to income ratio. The house is just
in his names because he had the better credit store score.
And here's the last thing that she said to me,
which now I know that she could be part of
the problem. She said, I also loved Jule's input, So
obviously that woman. Wow, that woman has some mich But listen,
(42:00):
I think overwhelmingly what we've learned here, Yeah, gotta go.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
That man ain't change and stay. Your sisters figure it
out on a Hi guys, good morning. It is Ashley
and the jam In Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Uh solo dolo today, except for with the relationship expert.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
I had no idea Jewels, who by the way, is single.
By all my.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
Dm from girls like tell Jules to shut up, you guys.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
I was rolling my eyes out here.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Yeah, you know what, all.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Right, I was actually going to go away from this
because I feel like we kind of wrapped it up.
I knew she needed a joke, hence why I used
Jewels as my little uh punch right there. But I
just got an update that I think you guys are
going to want to hear. So we were just talking
about Anonymous. Obviously, Anonymous is in kind of a tumultuous
relationship they you know, her best example was like I'll
(42:54):
sit down my boyfriend who I have three kids with,
and I will say like, hey, I didn't like that
you did ABC and we need to.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
Work on that.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
And he'll say, yeah, well you did a girl's night
at the Cape this past weekend and like snap on her,
and she's like, he never addresses the actual issue. They
moved into a new home and he pays the mortgage,
so he kind of feels like he has the upper
hand that he can say and do whatever he wants.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
So she left. She went to her sisters. That was
two nights ago.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
One of you guys hit me and I can't remember
who's the shout out to that person and was like, hey, Ash,
can you ask her what his reaction was when she
packed up the kids and moved to the sister's house.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
That says, it's a solid question.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
I'm I'm mad.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
I didn't ask that. The journalist in is pissed, so
she said. He blew up my phone. The next morning
he was saying sorry, and then I ended up going
home with the kids after work yesterday. He had taken
the kid's cameras down in their rooms. When I asked him, hey,
where are the kids cameras? I guess I asked rudely
(43:54):
or I should have just been quote looking for myself,
and he got really mean to me again. So we
left and we still at my mom's house last night. Ash,
we are literally couch hopping.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
It is so bad.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
My poor little kids just want to go home. I said,
you have to get out of this like that actually
scares me a little bit. I wrote her that and
I genuinely mean that he took the baby cams down,
and then she said, hey, where are the baby cams down?
Probably to put them to bed, and he snapped at her,
said she asked too rude, and then told her to
go find them herself. Now you're affecting the kids. That's
(44:28):
weird to me, Like we need the baby cams for
the kids to go to sleep with have an eighteen month.
Speaker 3 (44:33):
Okaid, we have a three year old kid? Like, where'd
it's not that serious?
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Where you put the baby camps so we can put
the kids asleep. Then she said to me, I know
I need to find the strength and not be a coward.
That's how I feel. I feel very small internally right now.
These are the type of voicemails he leaves me. He
left this one. Guys this morning, can you please unblock
me so we can talk about this. I've heard obviously
about our talk last night. I'm really sorry, and I
(44:57):
take full responsibility. I think we shouldn't end up do
I don't think we should have ended up like this
after having a bad night. I'm really really sorry and
I don't like this. I don't like us not being together. Dude,
is it is a cycle? And I hate throwing out
the word abusive, but like he's mean to her and
then he's like begging for her to come back, and
it's like over and over and over and over again.
(45:18):
Now I know you push the counseling. Yeah, And I
did get a DM from a girl and was like
maybe she does, say hey, let's go to counseling. And
then when he doesn't show up, Hey, counseling is Friday
at ten am.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
You don't show up, I'm done, that's my time.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
Yeah. You know, this situation just seems to get worse
and worse the more we hear about it. Like we
were speaking off it's called backtracking, guys. No, no, no, we
were speaking off here. The narrative that I hate is
that I'm an independent woman and I could do this
by myself, because that's not how it's supposed to be.
(45:53):
But you know, at the same time, you need to
have you need to be respected by your partner, and
you need to make sure that you're not getting into
a more abusive situation because this is already verbally abusive, yeah,
and probably psychologically abusive, right, and we don't want it
to get to physically abusive. So I think you know
(46:14):
she really needs to only she knows the situation right, Like, yeah,
it could be worse than what she's talented, it could
be not as bad as what she's telling us. But
I think she needs to figure out if she really
feels like she needs to leave, she needs to make
that leap. I don't think you're a coward. It's very
hard to leave in this situation.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
But I love that she is mom and sis, and
I'm sure they're saying the same things that we are. Like,
if this is what's happening in the home, I think
I'll leave it at this. And I feel like it's
like when you go through a breakup and someone's like,
you just need time. I feel like this is kind
of that type of answer. But I mean this when
I say it. It shouldn't be this hard. It shouldn't
be this hard to be in a relationship with somebody
that loves you. It shouldn't be this hard, And if
(46:53):
it is, maybe it's time to go.
