Speaker 4 (00:22):
Really a Kid in the Morning.

two point nine A Bill with a Kid. Candace low
Pez is here today, Producer Pooh is here.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Good morning, Candace, How are you?
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Good morning? I'm good. I think I broke a couch
record yesterday. Oh, and I'm so happy about that.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
A couch record.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yeah, I think I laid on my couch longer than
I've laid on my couch in the last I don't know,
ten years or so.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
How good did that feel?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Oh? So good? I mean I had to like text
a few people because there's so much going on. I said,
we're just overscheduled. Thank you for the invite.
Speaker 5 (00:58):
I just can't. I just can't do it.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
It doesn't it feel good to say no?
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
What's that like it? Do you know?
Speaker 4 (01:04):
I have fomo about canceling plans or saying no to
invites or whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
But yesterday I was on the couch, good down for
the count.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
We watched Formula One, we watched the World Cup. We
were waiting to watch the IndyCar Race, which was delayed
by rain damn hours. We watched Bluey. I mean, we
were just just doing it.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Just feels good to be lazy on a Sunday.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yeah, because I'm not gonna get a lazy day for
a while now because we just have so much going
on at work and then I have, you know, family
coming in town for a week, and then school's starting.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
So that's good. You need that to reset sometimes. I
did not have that.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
While you were doing that, I was on a tarmac
coming back from Vegas. I thought to myself, this is
too good to be true. Yeah, I'm like, no delays
either way. I'm gonna get home. Everything's fine. I haven't
have some time Sunday. Yesterday's wine down regroup because Vegas
is insane. I'm like, this will be perfect. As we're
about to take off, the captain gets so, I was like,
we're gonna have to take it back to the gate.
(02:04):
We have to go back to the gate. We're about
to take off, right, and he goes We're gonna have
to go back to the gate for legality reasons.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Legality, And I was like, what's the legality league? And
we're gonna have to go back. We have canvas court.
I totally forgot. We're gonna have to do that.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Figure out some people's problems real quick, and then we'll
circle back.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
But no, I guess what happened was.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
You know, if you're into if you're a pilot or
flight attendant, you know this.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
But they can only work a certain amount of hours.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
And if he were to take off quick enough, once
you're in the air, you can work over that time limit, okay,
but if you don't get off the ground in time,
then he had to go back to the.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Gate and he couldn't fly. Oh wow, could we have
plan this a little better?
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Right?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
So we'd go back to the gate and we had
to wait for a new pilot.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
No, I'm like, it makes you wonder too, like how
they manipulate, there's scheduls and like travel just it just
makes you wonder a little bit. Yes, I'm not saying
that people don't genuinely hit overtime and they're like, we
can't do this.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
We would rather be safe, but still.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
But everybody didn't know what he was talking about legality reasons.
So then people are looking around the plane started talking.
They're like, did someone do something wrong on the plane. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And then the girl next to me was sneaking her vape.
WHOA yes.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I was like, what is going on? Yes' and everyone
who vapes? I don't care what you do, but do
you think you're sneaky about it?
Speaker 1 (03:28):
You're not. We see the puffy cloud.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
It's like she's like, all of a sudden, she's like
going down to her chest and she's like and I'm like,
what the.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
And then she thinks they're circling back for her. Oh my, yes.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
She's like, I don't know if they saw me, And
I was like, I don't know. She was hammered. Oh yeah,
everybody's drunk in Vegas. So so yeah, I did make
it back, but I.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Didn't get back.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I was supposed to get back to like seven, got
back to like eleven o'clock last night.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
So that's okay. I mean, I'm not complaining. It was fun.
I made it. I'm saying, producer, who is here, what's
up with you? We're all family here right now. No
no judgment depends what you're saying, okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
So Saturday, I went with my niece to this beauty
bar or whatever, okay.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
And I tried to go get my first We didn't
even know you had a niece. She's my little cousin.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
But I call her my niece because I didn't. Yeah,
I got plenty of cousins. Anyway, I went with her.
She was getting the nails done or whatever, and I
was like, you know what, let me get my eyebrows done.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Worst was taken ever.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Look if you look close, you can see.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I just wanted to go Wait a minute. Yeah, I
even broke out. Dude, there's a hole. Yeah, yeah, dude,
I'm both sides in the middle though.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
What was she doing?
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Do your eyebrows wax threading?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah? She she waxed the middle. Was it her first day?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I was like, I see two patches in the middle of.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
His eyebrows, and she was like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
I was and I was like, girl, it looks like
your eyebrows have eyes, you know.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, I look like a raccoon.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Wait what it.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Goes away if you do a scowl face though, Yeah,
if I go like this, yeah, it's I was like,
that's back, but.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I do it. I give me, but I don't look
at you. Give me a minute, and I got an
instagram this. I'm gonna instagram this in a minute. How
does she mess up in the middle of your eyebrow?
Speaker 1 (05:32):
There's a hole.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
There's a chart how you want your eyebrows kind of
and I was like, yeah, number two, I just kind
of like just.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
A little and man, she just went hamd And I
was like, girl, don't say the name of this place, but.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Wow, yeah, they waxed the middle.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
She waxed the middle. How do you do that?
Speaker 2 (05:53):
How she was threatening over here, like right here, she
was threading and they're real skinny on the end.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, dude, I don't know what she was looking at.
I was like, oh, man, I was my hair. You're snatched? Yeah, no,
I'm not. You can't tell.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
It's like a hole or if that was like a shadow.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's almost like, yeah, in the middle of it, in
the middle of his eyebrows, it's white.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Yeah, the hair is missing in the middle.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
I'm so confused by this. All right, give me a second.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I'm gonna I'm gonna instagram and so you can see
at Billy on the radio, give me a minutel But
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
What's going on. Girls helped me over there. I don't know.
We need to get some like mascare or something.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
To fill in.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
We need to fill it in.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Brows are filled in right now they are. Yeah, you
just seed like a little mascara thing. I think it's
made for brows.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Wow, Yeah, I knew you was go. Yeah, Monday, Happy Monday.
Let's kick off the show and give me that sharpie.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
And I feel it's it's tough stories on the tense
with Billy's a Kid in the morning only on the
New Mixed one or two point nine early on a Monday.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I just posted the story hopefully posted because our WiFi.
Oh there, it just went up.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
So if you want to see his eyebrows at Billy
on the Radio, at Billy on the Radio on.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Instagram, you can see.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I don't know what's going on with them. They're just
very unique to got like two holes in them. He
had them threaded or waxed or I don't know what
he did, or some big girl nibbled off them. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
I'm not sure what's happening. But that's different yet it's
different of course, being nice, Candice. What's going on.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
We're expecting extreme heat this week, guy, so buckle up.
Triple digits are back with.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
No rain this week. It's already eighty two degrees outside.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
God, I know, it's just sweaty.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
When I walked out garage, just felt so gross.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Yeah, they're saying we could get up to one o
two today with a heat index of up to one eight,
So just be prepared, guys.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
This lettuce saga continues this morning.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
So the FDA now says a sample of lettuce from.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Taylor Farms of Mexico. This was my cellard those songs
at the lettuce.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Cycles explosive d yeah music. Yes, they're saying this, this
sample of lettuce they took from Taylor Farms of Mexico
produced a false positive.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
For the Cyclospora parasite.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
So they have apologized to the company and say they're
committed to working with public health authorities on this ongoing investigation.
But that report came out Saturday and we were all like, yes,
we have an answer, just don't get that no false
positive from the test.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Well, they were going to sue the crap out of
the FDA or whoever did that because I mean it
pretty much put them right at fault.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah. I was at Kroger on Saturday and I saw
all the Taylor Farms, you know, lettuce mixes or whatever,
and there's like a whole row of them.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, maybe that's what happened. And what to Poo's eyebrows?
What they got the parasite?
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Oh yeah, but I posted that and I was like, ooh,
Taylor Farms, yikes. Yeah, but they're saying, you know, this
iceberg lettuce that was sourced from there is still recalled
though it was distributed to twenty seven states, but we
still don't have an answer. Now, Yeah, where are parasites
coming from?
Speaker 1 (09:03):
It's not good.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
I just hate that they described in the news constantly.
We've talked about this, that word explosive.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
You know what, why is that normal? Why are we
normalizing that word?
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Now? Well, I'd like to know the opposite version of
that is the opposite version just I had calmed to
be chilled, Yeah, I had chill laid back why you
know what I mean, Like, I don't like saying that word.
So you know what I mean, I had explosive D
(09:34):
So what's the opposite of explosives as opposed to what.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I had just chill D. It was just kind of
chill and laid back D. It was just regular. Can
we do it like in weather.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Term slight chancey G.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I had gentle D. It was just normal.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Don't do this, Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Go ahead.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Can't hurt my computer around and you read the rest.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Of the time. I can if I can't read, But
go ahead.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
They're saying, though there's nearly seven thousand cases of this thing,
we'll just call it the thing confirmed or under investigation
since May first, I can't take it.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Well, I always wanted that, you know. Okay, it's like
and also too, I wonder something else. Okay, and we're
talking about diarrhea. Okay, right, let me just say it
so you know what we're talking about. And then I'm
never saying it again because I hate that word. I
hate the word explosive in front of it. But then
I thought to myself, is who went to Taco Bell
and thought, wait, this is different.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Than the normal D that I get after this cash.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (10:38):
But why explosive?
Speaker 4 (10:40):
I don't know. It just must be how the symptom
is like presenting. I guess, guys, speaking of the FDA.
They're actually looking into new rules that would make beverage
companies have to clearly disclose how much caffeine is in
their products. Health experts recommend no more than four hundred
milligrams of caffeine a day for healthy adults, no more
than one hundred milligrams for teens, and then kids, you know,
(11:03):
shouldn't have caffeine at all. But yeah, they they should
put it on there.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I always wonder, Yeah, and kids are going to Starbucks
like it's normal. I know, you ever could have high
school and you'll see everyone walking into high school with
their Starbucks, And I'm like, can you imagine when we
were kids if we did that.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
First, I couldn't afford that. No, it's just not It.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Wasn't normal then Dollar, you know Frozen's coffee drink.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
We never had coffee in general, that's true.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
We didn't need it. I mean, I guess I could
have used it. I did fall asleep a lot in
class and while doing homework.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
But but we didn't have energy drinks. You know.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
You know we had back in the day something you
kids would never understand. We had something very very high
powered called Jolt. Yeah, you remember Jolt soda for Serge didn't.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Yes, yeah, maybe we did.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Be that joelt.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
You want to feel like you just did meth. Drink
some jolt, Drink a bottle of that. You're ingesting more
sugar and caffeine than a kid should know.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Year.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
I was ready to tear up a trailer park.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
I wonder how much caffeine was actually in it now?
Look yeah, real quick, guys. Spain dominated the World Cup
Final yesterday, beating Argentina one to zero. FIFA is expected
to announce record revenue of fifteen billion dollars from this
year's tournament, star studded event. Though I thought halftime was perfection.
We joked about it all week leading up to this thing.
(12:31):
But Ted Lasso bringing out Justin Bieber was the moment
of all moments for me. I knew, oh, I was so.
I was so excited for Justin Bieber first of all.
But Ted Lasso is one of my favorite TV characters
of all time, so for him to come out it
was perfect. He had the sign that instead said believe,
it said believe. But which was I mean?
Speaker 5 (12:49):
It was just perfect.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Did you like Justin's song choice? Because some people didn't.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
I thought it was interesting that, you know, they came
out and he said, you know, we need a moment
of heart and this whole you know, celebration of soccer
and a football and just world cultures joining together. I
thought it was cool.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
I thought it was.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Cool to have a down moment. But the little girls
with Shakira were beautiful, having such a good time dancing
with her. The Muppets were fun. But Chris Martin just
knows how to bring unity through art, and it was awesome.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
I mean post Malone per game.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
I loved post Malone.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, I mean everything.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I thought everything was good, and then I was on
the tarmac and I missed the whole thing all but
for the most part I liked it. I mean I
thought it was fun to Yeah, it was really fun.
Wish we could do that every year.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah. I was really sad about it because it really
did feel like we had a distraction from everything going
on in the world, you know, to see what really
is important and then sad it's over. But yeah for Spain,
yes exactly. I'm Kandaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Hopefully you're having a good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
It's so far and it's mixed one on two point
nine and biling A kid, Canda Slow Pez producer, who
is here a get dirty Little secret coming up at
seven thirty? Get ready for that Weezer tickets at eight o'clock.
I'm really excited for wheal a Misfortunate Today.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
God, I don't know which.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I haven't done this in a long time on the show.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
It is a wheel of just torture and we do
trivia and whoever loses has to pay up and spin
the wheel. And there's some ridiculous things on this wheel,
like I don't know, it could be Instagram takeover, where
whoever loses we get to take over their Instagram for
the day. I would love to take over Kandas's Instagram
for a day.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Oh yeah, oh boy.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I would do ridiculous stuff, ridiculous stuff. But there's a
ton of other stuff on there too, so it's gonna
be fun. We'll do that at eight thirty today right now.
First caller of the day, who's his?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Hey, good morning, This is Adrian. What's up Adrian? How
are you?
Speaker 6 (14:33):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (14:33):
I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Good. Where are you from? I'm from Dallas. Guess what Adrian?
You're calling? Number one? Congratulations are serious, awesome radio. That's great.
You won.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
You got a four pack of tickets to Barnum and
Bailey Dicky's Arena coming up on the twenty eighth, so congrats.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Awesome, My boys will love it. I got ten, ten
and eight year olds.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
That is the perfect age for that. I missed doing
stuff like that because he's fifteen and too cool.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Now you know they don't like someone. Do you want
to do something like this? And he's like, Noah, Dad,
come on, bro chilled dout. That's awesome. Good job.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
So well, you're so welcome to have a good day.
We appreciate you listening. Adrian, stay right there.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Okay, okay, thank you. All right, here we go.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Real or fake news. I give you three headlines. You
gotta tell me which one is fake. And the news
is crazy, especially this weekend. Some weird stuff happened, so
headline at number one. Texas City considers banning loud speakerphone
conversations in public spaces. Texas City considers banning loud speakerphone
conversations in public spaces. Headline number one, headline number two.
(15:39):
Colorado man arrested for surfing naked on top of a
moving locomotive. What Colorado man arrested for surfing naked on
top of a moving locomotive headline at number three. Time
Traveler from twenty forty eight makes predictions and pass is a.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Lie detector test. What yeah, Colone?
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Time Traveler from twenty forty eight makes predictions and passes
a lie detector test. Okay, three headlines right there, You
got to tell me which one is the fake headline?
Speaker 1 (16:17):
We go to Kandice Lopez. Would you like to go first?
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Or you could pass it to Pooh and his eyebrows
that are half missing?
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Oh tough one today, but lock me in for that
last story, the time Traveler.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Last story. You don't think there's a time Traveler from
twenty forty.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Eight a light detector?
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:36):
All right, well let's lock it in.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I like it in, Yeah, locked in, producer, Pooh, there's
some holes in your story sometimes. And your eyebrows, I
don't know what's going on it. They don't look bad.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
But he got his eyebrows, he got them threaded.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
And the girl messed up and did the middle somehow
is that.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
The middle or is it a shadow? And it just
looks like the middle? Take it out.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
They just waxed right here.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
The rest they threatened, I'm sorry, like the middle of
your eyes.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Oh oh yeah, yeah, well she was threatened. I don't
know if that was.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
You know that those animals they have marks on their
face to make it look like their eyes are open
when they're closed, so when they're sleeping, they.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Don't get killed. Right, that's what it looks like.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
It looks like it's it's a you know, safety thing.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
It's a safety measure.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
So now when he's sleeping, he looks like his eyes are.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Open, so no one will come at him.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Exactly, come at me, bro? Which one do you think
it's fake?
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Okay, I'm gonna go with that first story because if
they're being in a speakerphone, I'm gonna be in trouble.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
All right, So lock me you are a speakerphone guy?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, big, here we go, let's lock it in. Locked
in Today. The winner is.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Producer Pooh. I don't know why he's so happy about it.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Let me tell you. I'd be so mad if somebody
did that to my bro. I was mad. Yeah, but
did you pay for that? I know I got a credit? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Credit?
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, I would you come back? I gotta credit?
Speaker 3 (18:13):
No, she's gonna use it for her nails, because he
gets her nails done all the time.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
So, but who your girlfriend?
Speaker 3 (18:18):
No, no, my knees get I don't believe that story.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
By the way, I remember my great aunt came in town.
We had our birthday party. I got a whole bunch
of relatives in town and they're listening. Showed up.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
I love that, But it's you know, we family, We
understand that you're in town. We still be these lying. Well,
why don't you just say it's your cousin. Why do
you call your niece because she's younger and I just
I'm so, I'm older.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
I just call her. That's a black thing. We just
do that. Yeah, that's fun.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, that's fun, all right.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
The real stories.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Colorado man arrested for it surfing naked on top of
a moving locomotive.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
This is a real story.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know what's going on, but it
says this guy. Said office says Daniel ray Balance was
his name. The sheriff's office says Daniel ray Balance broke
a window of a Union Pacific locomotive, climbed inside, then
made his way under the roof and rode on top
of the moving.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Train completely naked.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Stunned witnesses watched the bizarre ride through northeast Colorado near
the Nebraska border before deputies working with railroad staff intercepted
the train and arrested him, and Balance now faces a
mix of felony and misdemeanuiate charges. The Sheriff's office announced
the arrest with a tongue in cheek, a social media
post noting that Balance express his expressed his love of vodka, beer,
(19:45):
and playing the banjo, and joking that they had to
separate him from those loves.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
For the train ride.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
He was naked just I mean, wild weekend.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yeah, let the guy live, you know.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I mean, that's impressive that his name is Balanced, and
that's exactly what he did, is he was naked on
top of a train. Have you ever seen the documentaries
of those people who ride trains all over the US? Oh,
it's weird, really Like they just get on trains and
go wherever. Wow, and they have to hide and then
they just end up in a random city and they
live there for a couple of days. WHOA, Yeah, Okay,
(20:20):
if I weren't doing this, I think that's what I
would do, right. Time Traveler from twenty forty five, makes
predictions and passes a Lie Detector test. Hey, this is
fascinating to me because this guy claims that he's from
the year I guess, yeah, twenty forty five, which doesn't
seem that far away. Yeah, if I'm a time traveler,
(20:40):
I would go back earlier.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Or you know, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
I mean, the way we're moving at such a fast
pace though, I mean twenty years is yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Well change. His name is Adam Arkin.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
He basically says that he journeyed back to twenty twenty
three from two decades to twenty twenty three, and he's
lived here since. For the last few years, he hasn't
been time traveling because it's exhausting, right, yes, exactly. But
here's the part that got people kind of freaked out
(21:14):
is he went and passed the lie detector test with
some of the stuff that he was saying.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Okay, so people were like what.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
So then I looked up what he said and he
said that everyone is going to be micro chipped like
pets by the year twenty forty five. Oh boy, that's
one of the things he said. He said, all humans
are going to have microchips in them. Okay, so it
won't even be weird. It won't even be bizarre for us. Wow,
(21:42):
which it kind of makes sense considering we all have
pretty much Apple watches or some kind of device that's
tracking us anyway. Yeah, so if Apple came out with
a microchip, I mean, I think fifty percent of people
would put in their body.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Why because why not?
Speaker 5 (21:56):
For what though?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I mean everything.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
He just reads everything that's going on in your body,
and then it just sends it to your phone.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
And you can see it.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Okay, and you just tap.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Your wrist if you want to pay for something, and
you don't have to worry about the watch.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Okay, I do it?
Speaker 4 (22:13):
You will?
Speaker 1 (22:14):
No, I wouldn't. He also says wow.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
And he says he already has one implanet and in
his hand, called the one. So there's different brands of
micro chips you can put in you His is like, oh,
this is going to be a big one in twenty
forty five.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
It's called the one.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
He also predicts humans will merge with robots, oh boy,
and that we will live like will coexist, like two
different types of you know, not people but beans.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, and it will be normal.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
He also says that time travelers will zip around in
modern UFOs. So he says, at that time and twenty
forty five, time travelers are going to be absolutely everywhere,
and people will say, yeah, I'm a time traveler, and
they'll have special vehicles or UFOs that they travel in.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Weird.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
He also claimed that aliens will land on Earth in
August of twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Oh yeah, two years.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
From that, saying that government's knew beforehand, but they just
kept it a secret, and insisted the visitors do not
come from space. So he insists that the visitors, the aliens,
we've been looking in space the whole time. He doesn't
think that's where they're from. He says they're actually from
the oceans.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
Wow, okay, I've heard that theory. I think you told
me that theory.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, I'm cool on that, which I don't know if
I'm I'm cool with either one. Yeah, but I'd almost
rather come from space. Why because that means they've been
chilling here the whole time.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Yeah, right, Well, that means they're not trying to harm us.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
They're chilling, just chilling in the I think they're down
there formulating a plan. And then in August of twenty
twenty eighth. They're just like, let's go.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Are you sure what alien wants to be chilling in Galveston?
Have you seen Galveston?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
I've seen some aliens and trust me.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
In the meantime, I was thinking about this yesterday, was
on the flight because I was coming back from Vegas,
and I'm like, you.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Know what, when you get older, you start to do
weird stuff and it sucks.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, it sucks when you start to realize it's eye opening.
Yeah that you have like old people habits now that
I used to think this so weird. And it all
started because somebody I was next to was talking about
how they run vacation in Vegas and they got in
a good run and that was good. Wait what, I'm like,
you run on vacation. They're like, oh, everywhere I go,
(24:33):
every time I'm on vacation.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
I run.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
Good for them, And.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
I thought to myself, that is awful. That is that
is an.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Old person though, And then you're just energetic for the day.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
No, I gotta be honest, I've never got runners high.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
I just don't know if I've ever ran long enough
for it to right.
Speaker 5 (24:52):
It takes about ten minutes at least for me.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
I mean, if I'm playing basketball or something, can do it,
but I just can't run to run people you work out.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
On vacation, interesting breed.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
If I'm at the beach or something like that, Yeah,
I definitely want.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
To go for a run.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Okay, all right, what's your old person habit that you have, Like,
you know, give me a because I like making lists
of stuff. Yeah, what old person habit do you have
that you're like, Oh god, this is an old person habit.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
I mean, I'm definitely trying to eat dinner as early
as possible. I'm watching the COG, I'm thinking about what
we're having for dinner while we're eating lunch. No, you're
not well planning for planning purposes, you are. But yeah,
but you know what I really want is a coffee
maker with a timer on it because my grandparents used
to have that and it would turn on by itself
in the morning and man coffee.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah you don't have that.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
No, Oh, I think that's at automatic old person thing.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
Yeah, I don't have that yet.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
So if you get up at three, it's automatically brewing
your coffee. Two.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Oh, it's brilliant part of waking exactly.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah. So You're waking up to the smell of coffee.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Of folgers, and you're you're also a worry war too,
So like to you, I can imagine be like, well,
that's a flare hazard if I'm not up watching the pod.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
No, don't bother me.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Old people habits people were sending me to it. If
you got one, let me know what's your old person habit?
This person says, I get excited to stay home on
the weekends.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Yeah, okay, yesterday it was perfect.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
I stayed at home.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
I get that.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, I mean it's that is definitely an old person habit.
Eating early dinner is on the list.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
Oh good.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Getting off social media okay, that is important. Yeah, like
I was barely on it this weekend because I just
just wanted to reset and because oddly Las Vegas service
sucks near the casinos.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Yeah, they want you to stay in the casino, not
on your phone.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Oh it worked. Yeah, good old person habit in Vegas.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
I will say this, I mean, you have never seen
so many old people I mean barely alive on the
slot machine.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah, you know, right next, barely holding on to just life.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Well, the seats are comfortable, Candice.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
I'm talking oxygen tank, Yeah, Virginia slim, hanging off their mouth,
just smoking and just Penny slots and just you and
just in the Yeah. And then I was next to
them because I was like, I want to see what
Martha is going on here, and they always hit. I
don't do good on slots. I don't really play slots, right.
(27:28):
But there was a girl next to me. She had
to be a good one hundred and fifteen at least,
super awesome, super tan, I mean super tan wow, and
just jewelry everywhere, and she smelled like the most old
school perfume ever.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
She was hitting everything.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Good for her ding.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
And she was just smoking, going well, I'm almost back
to where I started.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
For the week.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
And I'm like, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
She had ten thousand dollars and acted like it was
annoying to her. She was like, wow, that'll get me
close to back to where I should be.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Oh God, Grandma.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Going to bed early is on the on the list
of love it old people habits, drinking prune juice.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Somebody said it, Oh man, man, what thing I have?
Some of my friends, I just can't get myself to
open it. I can't get myself to commit though.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
No, you don't.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
You're at prune juice stage.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
I mean sometimes you're you're drinking prune.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
I'm not.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
It's still unopened. I think I have two in there
that are unopened.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Because I forgot about the first one and I put.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
It back on the grocery list.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
I just can't drink it, don't.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
That's what my aunt drinking. You know what I've been
doing like that. That's an old person.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
I got my my medicine and my supplements listening by the.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Day of the week hill Holder.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Yeah, I'll off the TikTok shop. I was like, oh,
this is cool because you really can't tell because they're
stacked and it's like chrome.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
And I was like, yeah, yeah, let me just do that.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, when you got a custom pillcase, I'm trying.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
To market them to us because they're blowing them out
and I was.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Like, nobody won't be able to tell. But yeah, but
what do you do with them? You don't even take
them at the time.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Oh I do.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
I put my little gummies and yeah, my little man's
up in there. It's only like five pills, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
He's day bro fine pills a day. Yeah, but yeah,
three of them are supplements.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
One's a zyrtech and the other ones like a calcium.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
So when do you schedule your insure? Done that? Now?
I got my mad musica, my injury in Kansas' broo juice?
What's up?
Speaker 4 (29:51):
What you yeah?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
You go?
Speaker 1 (29:53):
I don't know. I feel like a spring chicken. YouTube
Old Jeezus top stories on these get in the.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
You're ready.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
We got Weezer tickets coming up because it's why two
came Monday.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
So if you want to win that, we'll do it. Yeah,
about an hour from now, Candice Lopez, what is going on?
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Well, over one thousand teachers and forworth ISIC have submitted
their resignations going into the new school year. So the
state took over the district about three months ago after
you know, some campuses came back with f ratings multiple
years in a row. Uh, The incoming superintendent pledge this
would mean good things for teachers, like better pay and
better leadership. Teachers leaving the district say the exact opposite
(30:35):
has happened. Chaotic leadership, intense micro management, and difficult working conditions.
I guess some of them said, you know, they were
given prepackaged lessons and told not to worry about writing
their own lesson plans. So basically they were given a
script so it's a scripted lesson and that. And the
teachers are just kind of like, this is not really
what we expected. But a lot of them just submitted
(30:58):
resignations right before the deadline the upcoming school year. So yeah,
just thinking about people in Fort Worth because that's a
stressful time.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yeah, I mean back to school time, but teachers have
it so hard as it is.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Yeah, you know, like we just need to.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Take care of our teachers better. They don't get paid
the right way. They've got to pay for their own supplies,
have the time they're buying stuff that right, The kids
in the classrooms just need It's just awful.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
It is. It is. Yeah, So if you're in fourth
is pay attention because some changes are probably coming to
your classroom. And guys. Target has recalled over two hundred
thousand pairs of Cat and Jack Toddler Girls sandals. They're
saying that some of the plastic pearls can actually detach,
which would create a choking hazard. This recall was just
(31:43):
announced a couple of days ago. But these are tanned sandals.
I guess they're selling with gold buckles. You'll know them
if you bought these at Target sizes five T through
twelve T. They were sold at Target stores nationwide and
online for about twenty dollars through May of this year.
So just a heads up if you have any of
(32:03):
those Little Girls sandals that are part of this recall guys.
Kelly Clarkson is going viral for her comments about how
she's going to be glad to get rid of corporate
rules and HR meetings when she wraps up her talk
show next month. So she was joking about this on
the first night of her Vegas residency, and she said,
you know, they'll say dumb stuff like you can't comment
(32:24):
on someone's weight loss, and how she thinks that's so dumb.
She said, you know, it's kind of a compliment to
note when other people like herself have lost weight, but
they tell her, you know, they scold her saying, you know,
HR thinks that you know, they looked really bad before
if you're saying how good they look now. So she
was kind of just venting about, you know, leaving the
(32:45):
talk show.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Well, it is an interesting thing though, because it has
changed as far as the vibe on what you can
and cannot say in the workplace.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
And I feel like we're this.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Generation's kind of stuck between you know, like, yeah, younger
people know that, they just don't comment on people's bodies
in general. Yeah, but if you get someone who's older, yeah,
there's no holds bar.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Like you know, like our parents.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Yeah, I mean boomers, it's not even they don't even
mean it in a bad way, right, And.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
We're going to become those people too if we don't
pay attention you think so.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
It's sometimes it's not meant to be rude, but they'll
say things like right, someone's eating right, and you're like.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
Yeah, you look healthy.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Meaning good or healthy meaning bad?
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Yeah, well someone hasn't skipped a meal. How you doing.
You're like, uh, is not great? Now, she don't hold back.
Whatever happened to that little fat girl you used to date.
I'm like, she don't care.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
It's like which one, big boney?
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Oh you're so right?
Speaker 4 (33:54):
Yeah, we gotta be careful. Yeah, you're right, we're kind
of stuck. We're the pancake generation.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
But then if somebody doesn't say anything, you You're like,
nobody's even noticeding I've lost weight, Right, they're scared.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
To they are for sure.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
So many things we can't say anymore.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
Also, guys, I wanted to mention this. We were talking
about the World Cup earlier. Did you see FIFA is
selling the grass from the World Cup final match yesterday?
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Yeah, So you can get a six inch a square
of grass from MetLife Stadium. They're selling for four hundred
and fifty dollars. They'll ship it to the US and
Europe only if you're interested.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
You couldn't afford a ticket and you want a little.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
What kind of glass is that? I don't know? But
how do you keep it alive? Yeah, that's fifty water.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
It's into like a little glass container. I'm thinking of myself.
It's just gonna die, Yeah, because they seal it up
unless you, I guess, got some holes to water And
what are you gonna do with that? How do you
know it's from the World Cup? Yeahss, it could be
from outside on the toll way.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
I mean, I'm sure there's a certificate of authenticity.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Well, still do you think that matters?
Speaker 4 (34:48):
I mean, how do we know that your Princess Diana
can't wedding cake is real?
Speaker 1 (34:51):
How dare you? Yeah? I did buy a piece of
Princess Diana's wedding cake.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Yeah, I don't even ask it's real.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
How do I know it's real because it came from
an authentic source, Candae, Okay, it came.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
From questionable though.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Oh my gosh, I.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Can't find it. By the way, you lost it.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
I lost my piece of Diana's Princess Diana's wedding case.
Speaker 5 (35:12):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
I know.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
I don't know what happened, but I'm kind of sad
that I don't have it.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
Most see if we can get you another one, just
a shred of grass from FIFA. Sure, all right, I'm
Canda Slowpez. Those are your Texas top stories.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Get it off yours to commise you'll feel better.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
It is time to confess on Mix one or two
point nine bailing a kid, Canda Slowpez producer Pooh is here.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
We have Weezer tickets coming up for Y two came Monday.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
That'll be at eight eight thirty Wheel a misfortune, which
I love that our boss was so confused over the
weekend because Zam came in and She's looking around the
studio and she's like, why.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Is her baby oil in here?
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Because one of the things on the Wheel of Misfortune
is Oh, I'm gonna throw up if I lose, and
if I get this one, I'm it's massage Poo's rolls.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Oh my god on the back.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
That's what I've been dreading all weekend. Honestly, wow, because we're.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
Like homies and friends and like this is weird.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
I just don't want to have to baby oil his
rolls up on the back of his head and massage.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
It's like one of my probably worst nightmares.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
There's a lot of things on this wheel of misfortune
where we do trivia. Whoever loses the trivia has to
spin the wheel. I mean, there's what talk like a pirate.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
All day much costume, Yeah, much Rather do that than
massage Pooh's rolls.
Speaker 6 (36:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh, there's take shots if I want to do that one.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
Is that why this giant thing of Tito's is in here?
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, there's sing all day so you can't talk for
the rest of the day. You have to sing everything
you say.
Speaker 5 (36:40):
That's me every day anyways, that's true. I don't know
if we're on the radio.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Yeah, exactly, So we'll do that at eight thirty Wheel Misfortune.
I'm a little bit nervous, but that explains the baby
oil in the studio.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
There's a diddy party going on, and know what was happening?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Okay, if you have a secret eight three three seven,
eight seven and one O two nine, just confess and
you have one.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
So what's going on?
Speaker 6 (37:02):
And I know that this makes me sound like a
terrible person, but I am addicted to flirting with married men.
And before everyone breaks out, only every one jumping down
my throat on this one. But let me just say
I have never ever hooked up with a single one
of them, not even a kiss. That's where I draw
the line.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
Never.
Speaker 6 (37:20):
But right, but that being said, I do know what
I'm doing is messed up.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
So okay, very unique situation.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
Why married men.
Speaker 6 (37:33):
I mean, I've just gotten this weird rush from seeing
if i could get a married man to take the bait,
and I've been doing it for years now. I'll start,
you know, with just an innocent conversation and be a
little extra friendly, maybe throw out a compliment or two
and just wait, and you know, the second he starts
(37:53):
crossing a line or you know, trying to chase me.
It's over. I ghost him completely. I just here so dad.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
So as soon as he takes the bait and he
goes and you know, okay, I got him on, I
got him locked down.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
That's when you're like, bye, the thrill is over.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
The thrill is over, like it never ever, you know, happened.
Because I'm like I said, I'm not trying to break
up anybody's marriage, but I don't know, there's just something
you know, that there's a particular rush from getting a
married man to do it. I have tried doing the
same thing with single guys, but it just doesn't give
me the same feeling. And I don't know exactly why.
(38:31):
There is just something about proving to myself that a
married man would risk it all just for the attention.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
You know.
Speaker 6 (38:37):
It's like some kind of sick game that I play
in my head. And I really hate admitting that, but
you know it is my dirty little secret.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
No, I appreciate you being honest with us.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
I do, even though it's sometimes hard to hear because
I know if anyone's married, like Cannas is married, You're
like you, oh.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
This is absolutely cringe. It's given me, like.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Right, like, but I almost feel like you can't control it.
Speaker 6 (38:57):
Well, I mean I can. I am kind of trying
to get to the bottom of that. I actually am
in therapy because I know this isn't normal, but plus
it's you know, everyone could use an impartial party to
talk to. But my therapist says it's about validation and control.
And while she's probably right, I I just, you know,
(39:18):
I feel like I just need to. I don't know,
is this so crazy because I don't even enjoy hurting people,
and I know that like the risk of hurting people
doing this is like really high. I just get addicted
to that moment when you know they choose to chase me.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Yeah, son, And you probably don't care about hurting a
married man who's gonna, you know, be unfaithful. You're like,
who cares about he's feeling? So as long as you're
not cheating, you don't feel like you're hurting the woman
in that marriage, right, Okay?
Speaker 6 (39:45):
Yeah, I don't know. Just I just think that beyond
it being weird and it's kind of unexplainable and kind
of something that I do at this point feel like
I don't really have control over I do think that
I've ruined my own chances of having a healthy relationship
because of this. Wow, everyone else is I mean, if
(40:07):
I'm out here just busy playing this stupid game you
know that never ends, instead of you know, looking for
someone real and something real, you know, I feel like
I'm really, you know, risking my chances of ever having
a healthy relationship, which I do honestly want so well.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
I mean, I think the good news is you know
that it's a problem, You're going to therapy for it,
right there is.
Speaker 6 (40:30):
I guess yeah. The first you know, way of overcoming
the problem is admitting that you have one.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Like if I'm a psychologist, the first question I'm asking
is did a married man hurt you, like in the past,
that a married man hurt you or lead you on
or anything anything like that that you could think of
that goes This is why I.
Speaker 6 (40:46):
Do this, I like, not romantically. I mean, I guess
you could say I have some abandonment issues. I am
a product of divorce, but you know, I don't think
that's enough to a lot of people get to feut there,
you know, not everyone's out here trying to gain like
married men into you know, doing something on tooward outside
(41:07):
of their marriage and then leaving them, you know, so
you never know.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
That need for validation comes from somewhere.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
That's what I would think, definitely does.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
It's like people who scroll and scroll on the internet
and never socialize because they're getting like some kind of
brain trigger of validation when they see something exciting online.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Well, I guess, good, good, that you're getting help, because
I do think at the end of the day, you
want to be happy, and if this is not making you,
it's hurting your chances of being in a real relationship,
then nobody.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Wants that because you're distracted by this.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Right right.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
I think everybody can relate. Everybody can relate, I think
a little bit to the desire of wanting to get
chased or pursued. Yeah, so I get that part. I
just don't understand the married man part.
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Right right, because I wouldn't be putting myself in a
situation where I'm around married men, you know, to.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
Be able to execute this thing that it is.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
But I think that's the part where it's like, oh,
not only is this a man and this guy has
a whole life, but he wants me, yeah, you know,
and he's willing to risk it all. So hey, it's
a non judgment zone. Thank you so much for your confession, though.
It means a lot that you called us and let
us know what happens and hopefully you can stop this absolutely.
Speaker 6 (42:16):
Thank you so much for having me on.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, of course. Now usually I would probably be like,
that's gross. I that girl gives me the inch, but
it does give me the dig But at the same time,
she doesn't sell like an awful person.
Speaker 5 (42:26):
She's like self aware.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Yeah, I don't know, and she's not cheating with them,
right but rush from them chasing her wild Okay, all right.
Speaker 7 (42:41):
He's going for Candace court.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning,
all right, for the Honorable Judge Candice Lopez. It was
extra just. I don't know she's ready for court today.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
I can tell. I could tell she is ready.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
So if you got a case at Candace on air
on Instagram, some kind of problems, she can help you solve.
Speaker 1 (42:59):
It's one or two point nine, don't forget. It's why
two came Monday.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
So Weezer tickets coming up next, and then Wielam is
Fortune at eight thirty.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
Right now, though we got a prom you ready.
Speaker 4 (43:09):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
My friend group is split on something I need your
help with. So our friend is getting married and just
planned out a trip for her bachelorette weekend. We were
all super excited until she sent us a Venmo request
for six.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Hundred dollars each.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
We don't mind pain, obviously it's a trip and there
will be costs involved, but our problem is that she
won't tell us the itinerary what so we don't know
where we're going, where we're staying, or what we're doing.
We asked in our group chat, and she said she
wants it to be a surprise. Well that's when a
(43:47):
side chat started and some of us felt like this
wasn't cool. We don't want to commit to spending that
kind of money without knowing exactly what we are signing
up for. I wouldn't even know what to pack, what
to w and all of that. All I know is
the date. This is such a mess? Am I crazier?
Maybe I'm just being grumpy? Either way, I want to
(44:09):
be a supportive friend, but it's hard because this is
just totally out of my comfort zone. All Right, Candice,
this is an interesting case a batch the red party.
I've never heard of this before.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
No, I have it either.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
It's a little controlling, but maybe it's like a gift
to you and you have no idea and it's gonna
like be beyond your expectations.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Well, I wouldn't call it a gift at five to.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
Pay in a way, it's fun.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Is that what girls do for Batchel the Red Parties?
I genuinely don't know.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
I haven't been to one in so long. I've never
been to one where they haven't told you where you're
going or what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
Right, But are you paying for it? Like, are you
paying that much money to going on Batchel the Red Party?
Speaker 4 (44:45):
I mean these days? Yeah, between flight, hotel meals, whatever
else is involved, like transportation.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
I guess that's true, right, Yeah, so you're like, okay,
six hundred bucks. I mean there's part of me that
thinks I love this because that means I don't have
to plan anything, right, So if I'm gonna spend the money,
I'm gonna spend the money.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
It is what it is.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
But at least I don't have to worry about prepping
and figuring it out. But at the same time, I
am weird on and when it comes to not knowing
what I'm doing.
Speaker 4 (45:12):
Yeah, same like do I pack flip flops? Do I
need a light jacket? How many like nice going out
outfits do I need? That's the stressful part.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
Oh See, I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried
about like, what are we doing? I don't even care
about what to wear?
Speaker 4 (45:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Where are you taking me?
Speaker 4 (45:27):
Yeah? I mean I feel like maybe this group is
not very spontaneous because I remember, like one of my
best friends, I was going on a work trip to
Orlando and I just hit her up the day before
and I was like, I know you love Disney World,
Like why don't you come with me? And she's like
not a spontaneous person. Somehow ended up booking the trip
last minute. We had the best time. She had no idea,
(45:47):
you know what we're going to be doing for my
work stuff. We had the best time. And now she's
very spontaneous. She'll book stuff, you know, day up.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
Now.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
See I like that.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Yeah, well, not everybody can do that because you've got
kids and whatnot.
Speaker 5 (45:57):
I get it, she doesn't.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
But if you're.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
Planning, mean, first of all, you got to know the dates.
I can't travel anywhere without knowing a date.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
I think that's all she knows, right, Oh?
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Is that all she is? So expensive? That's not even
that bad. I'm cheap.
Speaker 4 (46:10):
If it's a week If I got to give you.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
Six hundred dollars, I want to know. Yeah, but a
weekend trip for six hundred is not bad really.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
No, I mean that sounds pretty good for a flight
and a hotel.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
If you're going somewhere and it's only six hundred dollars
for the flight and hotel, Yeah, yeah, that's I would
say that's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
That's a deal.
Speaker 4 (46:32):
Pooh, well, we don't know where you're going, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
I mean anywhere.
Speaker 2 (46:37):
It could be Yellowstone Park, so what that's fantastic. I
want to know where I'm going, at least something I
don't know. I kind of like the idea being surprised.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
Yeah, I mean the trip should be about who you're with.
You know, you could buy flip flops when you get there.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
I guess, yes.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Should she just go with it and give the money
or should she make it a big deal? I say,
you just give the money, and you're doing it for
your friend, right, this is your friend experience. It's not
just about the trip. It's about an experience, and she
obviously wants this. Part of the bachelorette experience. I guess
for her is surprising all the girls and doing it
like this.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
It's funsies.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
Yeah, that sounds funsies, But like, am I going to
be concerned that you may not have gotten the best deals?
Because I pride myself in like finding the best you know,
travel prices and things like that. That might be a
concern for me. I like to pick my seat on
the plane. So if you're going to do this, you
have to give like a list of, you know, what
to pack, at least generically what she will and talk
to me about where my seat on the plane is,
(47:32):
things like that.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
Do you know what, how do we even know it's
a plane?
Speaker 5 (47:34):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
Maybe it's six hundred bucks and we're road tripping to FREDERICK'SPI.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
That's gas money.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
Maybe it's six hundred dollars and if there's like six
people she made it come up.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
I don't know if that's just we're just going staying
in Dallas and going to Zaza.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Oh, no, stay locally even know if.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
We're catching a flight or not. Yeah, you kind of
gotta tell me, so I bring my pass or whatever.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
I kind of like the idea. This is actually kind
of fun. Is there any way I could plan a
trip and venmo you guys and then I plan it.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
Wait what Yeah, you've been do a show trip? Okay,
a show field trip and I'll down. Yeah, and I
don't tell you guys anything.
Speaker 4 (48:13):
Yeah, we just send you the money and you just.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
See the money. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:16):
Not just too fun.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
I kind of love that idea.
Speaker 5 (48:19):
I mean, you have to tell us what the budget is.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yeah, it's gonna be ten thousand dollars each, and we'll
do the trip.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Lad, we'll do the trip later, don't worry about Just
give me the money now.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
Just give me the money, now, figure out the trip later.
That sounds like a pood trip. Yeah, that's what he
will do.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
Okay, now canice we have a verdict? What's going on?
Speaker 7 (48:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Maybe this sounds exciting to me because I haven't been
on a girls trip, and so I'm just excited for
you guys. Look y'all are guilty of being boarding past
Brenda's Oh send the money, you know, excited about this.
It's gonna be fun no matter what you do, because
you're with your girls, so.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
You're saying, just have fun with they just send the
money with it, just see what happens.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
Yes, I like that idea. I'm totally down to this.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
I would absolutely let Cannas Planet trip like I wouldn't
pooh plan a trip.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
I'm pretty good. No, you don't plan anywhere?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Do we go?
Speaker 1 (49:10):
Pooh? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (49:11):
Where will we go? If you surprise us and we
have to pay you to plan a trip?
Speaker 1 (49:14):
Where we go? We're going to at Lease, Cabo San
Lucas or something like that. You want to have your passport? Yeah,
get out of here. Tas tough stories on the Tents
with Billy the Kid in the.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
Morning only on the New Mix one O two point
fought to give away these Weezer tickets. It's why two
K Monday if you want them. Hang out Candice, what
is going on?
Speaker 7 (49:34):
Well, we are.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Expecting extreme heat this week, so just prepare ourself. Triple
digits are back. It's going to be dry as well.
So it's already eighty two degrees outside. They're saying we
could get up to one oh two today with the
heat index of up to one oh eight.
Speaker 5 (49:49):
Uh yeah, I'm gonna be brutal this week.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
And I always say this but please be careful with
your pets.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Yeah, and if you're gonna walcome me, you gotta wait
till the sun's not so intense that pavement is hot.
I mean people say, what you take the back of
your hand, put it to the pavement. Yeah, it's a
good test to see if your pet's pause could take it.
Speaker 5 (50:05):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
Just thought it's not cool enough.
Speaker 4 (50:07):
Yeah, my dog's just been sulking all weekend because we
didn't get up early enough.
Speaker 5 (50:11):
To take him before it got too hot.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
And then I went to bed too early to take
him for a walk, and you know last night.
Speaker 5 (50:17):
But yeah, for sure, my.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
Dog and I we just swim. Yeah cool.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
I'm like, what else can we do. It's the only
thing we can do right now.
Speaker 5 (50:23):
It's fun though, for sure, guys, listen to this.
Speaker 4 (50:25):
The FDA now says a sample of lettuce from Taylor
Farms of Mexico produced a false positive for the cyclospora parasite.
They have apologized to the company and say they are
committed to working with public health authorities on this ongoing investigation.
So Saturday, that report came out and it was like,
we found it. It's Taylor Farms. It's been in the
(50:47):
Taco Bell, you know, shredded lettuce, So we thought this
was kind of over. But the iceberg lettuce that what
sourced from there is still recalled, though it was distributed
to twenty seven states.
Speaker 5 (50:58):
They're saying nearly.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
Seven thousand cases of cyclosporiasis have been confirmed or under
investigation since May one.
Speaker 5 (51:06):
So this story is now going to keep going.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
Well, I mean, if your tailor farms you're suing.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
Yeah, you're you're very mad.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
You're all over the news that it was your fault
that you started, and all of a sudden it's not.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Yeah, oh man, I don't know, but I am scared though.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
Yeah, the lettuce, I'm nervous of the cyclosporias.
Speaker 1 (51:22):
No, I'm nervous.
Speaker 5 (51:23):
Whatever it's called.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
I'm nervous.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
I'm not going to get it because I kind of
want that for a good twenty pound fat loss.
Speaker 1 (51:29):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
I mean, that's the upside when you get sick like that.
But people are saying this thing is awful and painful. Yeah, no,
for sure, But if you go online, you'll see videos
of people joking around about, you know, losing fifteen pounds
over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
Just eating raw lettuce, right, trying to raspberries and all
this su cilantro and all this stuff that gives it
to you.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Yeah, the internet is wild for sure, guys. Spain dominated
the World Cup final yesterday, beating Argentina one to zero.
FIFA also expected to announce record revenue of fifteen billion
dollars from this year's tournament. I know it's crazy, see
is that necessary?
Speaker 1 (52:06):
That is insane? I mean the tickets are so crazy crazy.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Yeah, I mean I wish they could lower the tickets
a little bit so the real fans can go because
I'm not I would never go to a World Cup
game because I don't know what I'm doing. Yeah, I'm
not sure a true fan. So I want to watch it.
Speaker 1 (52:20):
I like to.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
I got it into it, but I'm not going to
go take them a seat and pay all that money. Yeah,
a real fan should be able to go to them
because you follow them all over the world.
Speaker 5 (52:28):
Right, I belong in a watching party. I'll be honest.
Speaker 4 (52:30):
I would love to be there, but yeah, I'm definitely
watching party level. It was a star studded event, though
halftime turned out to be much better than I expected
based on how we were talking about it the week
leading up, ted Lasso brought out Justin Bieber. That was
a big moment for me. The girls dancing with Shakira,
that was really beautiful. I actually really love seeing the
Muppets out there.
Speaker 5 (52:52):
Yeah as the band.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Oh that's right, because I missed it because I was
at the airport. Oh that's right.
Speaker 4 (52:57):
Oh you got to go back and watch it, do I? Yeah,
it was. It was a really really special show. Chris Martin.
He knows how to, you know, create a show that
feels like unity and is colorful and love and you know,
kids choirs out there singing and yeah, it was just
really cool.
Speaker 5 (53:12):
BTS was fun to see again. Would you watch it?
Speaker 1 (53:14):
Yeah? What did I watch? My face was this close
to the TV sho that's my girl.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
Post Malone too debut a new song during the opening ceremonies,
So I thought it was a really cool broadcast.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
Some people were upset, they justin we were did like
a slow song, yeah, and I thought, well, I thought
it would be kind of cool either way.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
Yeah, it was cool. He did Hallelujah, and I think
that's kind of the song that's been trending on social
media for a while. So it was fun to see
him you know, stop down with his guitar and just
take over that whole stadium, you know, acoustic.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
It's so crazy how he gets on stage lately that
he doesn't even dress up. He just like rolls out
of bed. Yeah, just grabs a guitar or like a laptop. Yeah,
there's no way he's wearing the odorant. Oh yeah, us,
And I'm just saying it just he just looks like.
Speaker 4 (54:02):
A real low maintenance Yeah, truly, No, he's not wearing
but true, guys. The entertainment just announced a new competition
show called Cocktail Wars. It's going to be hosted by
Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. So three bartenders on each
episode will compete to craft the most delicious drink. Lance
(54:23):
and Joey will be there with an industry expert to
judge them, along with celebrity judges on each episode. That
show premieres August eighteenth.
Speaker 5 (54:30):
So they're just thinking of all sorts of competition shows
that they can come up with at this point.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
On Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
Cana slow Pez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
I am really nervous about this. It's makes one or
two point nine ability kid. Canda slow Pez is your producer.
Who is here? Are you ready for the wil A Misfortune?
Speaker 1 (54:47):
God? I guess I am not, But here we go.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
It's Billy they get in the Morning's Misfortune.
Speaker 4 (54:57):
Point nine.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
If you don't know about the Wiela mis Fortune, well
let me give you a little heads up.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
We used to do this back in the day, and
it was awful.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
It caused a lot of issues, a lot of tension
between the show, made us getting a lot of fights.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
HR got involved, legal got involved.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
It was very dangerous because basically what happens is we
do a little trivia.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
We do the trivia on the show.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Whoever loses has to spin the wheel of misfortune. It's
an actual wheel back here. Yeah, with a bunch of
things that you would have to do if you lose.
Awful things, not great things. Some of them are worse
than others though, Like, for instance, I'm looking at one
it says sing all day. Okay, so if you get
that one, you'll have to sing all day and you
can't talk. Everything you say has to be in singing.
(55:42):
So you know, it's not fun, not ideal, No.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
Not for me. Well it might be fun for you
to do.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
No one wants to hear everybody sing all day no,
or there's like there's also Candas's pick so or Billy's
pick or poos pick, So if it lands on then
you get to pick the punishment for the person who loses.
Speaker 6 (56:00):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
There's also there's show Fits Picks Fit, which means you
get to pick the person's outfit for the rest of
the day and they have to wear that no matter
what it is, which is awful. There's face tats, which
would be temporary tattoos that we have to wear on
our face all day. There's Instagram takeover, which would mean
(56:25):
whoever loses has to give up their Instagram from the
day and we could post whatever we want.
Speaker 1 (56:30):
Oh that would be fun. Yeah, yeah, that would be
really fun.
Speaker 2 (56:34):
There's massage Pooh's rolls on the back of his head.
I don't have to tell you how awful that is.
Talk like a pirate all day. And by the way,
when you have to pay these off, you can't say, well,
I'm doing it because they're lost a bit.
Speaker 4 (56:50):
Okay, Like if I'm out in public, yeah.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
You just have to own it.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
Okay, if you're talking like a pirate, somebody's like, why
are you talking like a pirate.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
You're just like, that's what I do. Are okay?
Speaker 2 (57:02):
So and thank you to Junior Junior who does our
traffic and other things around here, and just our good friend.
Junior is going to read the trivia for us because
we can't cheat, So thank you Junior.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
Give it up for Junior. Yes, Junior, are you ready?
Speaker 7 (57:14):
I'm ready. I'm glad to be here. Thanks for having me.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Well, here's what's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (57:17):
So we get the trivia, we chime in with our name,
and whoever loses spins the wheel of misfortune. And I'm
pretty nervous about this. So are we ready?
Speaker 4 (57:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (57:27):
I have no idea what the trivia questions are, no
idea what they're like. I will say this, Producer, Pood,
don't cheat because you're close to Junior and I feel
like you're peaking on a sheet.
Speaker 7 (57:36):
I'm trying to get the little sideway.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
Good in between us. You can cheat two, I know,
but all right, Well, here we go. We'll chime in
with our names. All right, Junior ready, when you are
with the first question, there'll be five questions and then
if it goes into you know, if it's tied or
for whatever reason or something.
Speaker 1 (57:54):
We'll keep going, all right, Junior, all.
Speaker 7 (57:56):
Right, first question, what is the tallest building in Dallas?
Speaker 1 (58:01):
Billy? Oh, that was close.
Speaker 4 (58:06):
Pooh?
Speaker 1 (58:07):
Okay, I will say I'm gonna I'm gonna say the
Bank of America building.
Speaker 7 (58:11):
You are correct?
Speaker 1 (58:14):
Wait, wait a minute, real quick? How do we know
that he chimed in? First?
Speaker 5 (58:18):
It sounded like because I didn't.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
I got big lips and you can hear the pooh
has nothing to do with it.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
The pooh.
Speaker 5 (58:24):
Honestly, I think it was pooh.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (58:26):
I think you gotta be a little louder though too.
Billy was louder.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
Well, Billy got a big old mouth.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
First of all, we didn't even do trivia getting roasted?
Speaker 1 (58:41):
All right?
Speaker 2 (58:41):
So who is up one? Which is kind of interesting
that he stepped down early?
Speaker 1 (58:47):
All right?
Speaker 7 (58:47):
Next question, all right, pay attention to this one. Listen
to the word. How many time zones are there in
the continental United States?
Speaker 5 (58:59):
Canvas?
Speaker 7 (59:00):
Lord, Candice? That's correct?
Speaker 1 (59:05):
Are you serious?
Speaker 6 (59:06):
Right now? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (59:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (59:08):
Okay, Central Mountains? Yeah, and then there's Hawaii, uh and Alaska.
That's what I was thinking about.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
That's why would I had it wrong? All right? So
I'm a loser, all right? Next question.
Speaker 7 (59:21):
All right, we're gonna move to sports. Okay, good. What
is the nickname of the Dallas Stars.
Speaker 1 (59:29):
Mascot Victory Green? That is correct.
Speaker 7 (59:39):
Victor debuted in twenty fourteen, and he made his public
debut right across the street at the galleria.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
Nice fun fact from Junior.
Speaker 7 (59:49):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (59:49):
Okay, so it's Junior or well, I mean producer? Who
one one?
Speaker 5 (59:54):
And I have two?
Speaker 1 (59:55):
And I have zero?
Speaker 7 (59:57):
And there's two questions?
Speaker 1 (59:58):
Now I hate this game.
Speaker 7 (01:00:00):
Come on, all right, I'm gonna move on to the
food category.
Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Oh god?
Speaker 7 (01:00:04):
Oh yes, which fruit has varieties named honey, crisp, Gala
and Philly?
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
That was definitely billy apples? You got it? Yes? Okay,
oh wait a minute, Wait a minute.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
There's one more question, and it's basically tie between Pooh
and I.
Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
Is so candics is safe?
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
You could really just not even play anymore and you're.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Good exactly, But I want to play.
Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
But that will be a tie though, because then if
you were who get it? It's too too Yeah us
me versus Pooh.
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Yeah, let's go. Whoever loses has to spin the wheel
of misfortune? Oh god? Okay, yeah, all right, here we go.
How about how about a music question. Yeah, yeah, yes, really, okay,
all right, here we go.
Speaker 7 (01:00:57):
How many strings does US standard guitar have?
Speaker 4 (01:01:02):
Cane?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:01:04):
Six?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Right, that's correct. You can't win, you're not playing. Okay,
you already won. We didn't. Okay, you're smart. Oh god, alright,
it's poo.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
Versa I and I was going to get that one.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Yeah, I would have got it too. I was just
about to say my name.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Okay, next question, people, whatever, whatever questions you want. Now
he's gonna say that you cheated by giving a music question.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Yeah, that's fine. Okay, right, all right, let's uh, don't
don't tell me.
Speaker 7 (01:01:41):
Okay, what how about another sports question? Okay, go ahead.
I think you all are good at sports. Come on, Billy,
how many? And there's another one where you got pay
attention to what I'm saying?
Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Okay, all right?
Speaker 7 (01:01:50):
How many outs are there in one half inning of baseball?
And a half an inning of baseball?
Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
How many outs and a half inn? Half a poo pooh? Two? No,
no question, it's gotta be three.
Speaker 7 (01:02:14):
That's correct.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Three, Yeah, so is pooh.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
The loser, the loser.
Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
You will have misfortune, people have to spend Oh my god,
thank god, my brain is not working on a Monday.
Speaker 7 (01:02:35):
Each team gets up that bat, three ounces out.
Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Yeah, super easy.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
I was overthinking it attention to the word. Okay, all right,
producer poo, are you ready?
Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
All this awful stuff. You will spin the wheel of misfortune?
Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Coming up? Next Wheel of misfortune.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
And don't forget we got Weezer tickets coming up.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
We'll do that. I mean, wow, we got that coming
up next, Weezer tickets. Why two came Monday? I'm mixed
one or two point nine? We got those tickets.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
All day we played Wheel of Misfortune.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
I'm just not upset. I'm just not happy with the
way this went down. We did a little trivia game.
Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
Whoever losers on the show and we're doing this all
week has to pay up and spin the wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
And there's a bunch of awful things on the wheel.
Who is the luckiest human on earth?
Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
It happens to land on the one slot that has
passed the yell, which means he can pass the losses
somebody else who's he.
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
Passed it to? Is me? Not your boy? Not anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
I knew he wasn't gonna pass it to Candice, though,
So now I have to spin the wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
Which don't forget.
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
I hope you never forget this because when I do
something ridiculous for paybacks, Poo, I'll remember this hashtag.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Never forget. Now I'm gonna spin the wheel of misfortune.
Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Oh my god on a Monday. My brain is foggy
and trivia. I should have won. I mean I should
have like won one one, but I was slow. Me
and Poo were like nahing else.
Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
For going to Vegas.
Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Yeah, here we go.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
I hope it lands on. Ride a razor scooter all day.
I can deal with riding that. That's embarrassing.
Speaker 4 (01:04:10):
That sounds fun.
Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Yeah, or here we go, talk like a pirate. Here
we go. No, it has landed on. No, no, no,
no things we're to land on. It has landed on.
(01:04:39):
Why why nervous?
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Massage poos rolls. You gotta be kidding me.
Speaker 4 (01:04:48):
Some gloves just in case it was me.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
Do you want to Yes, I have the worst luck ever.
Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
You mean to tell me right and early on a Monday.
I have to massage the rolls on the back of
Pooh's head. You have to be kidding me, And that
sucks because I want a can is so bad to get.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
That one that means.
Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
That's gonna be off the wheel now, So you gotta
be kidding. I'm kind of glad though it happened, because
at least this is not fun for him. No, it's
not like he kind of secretly my life whatever is.
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Just make some barbecue. I can't believe in it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
Me. If you don't know who has at least three
rolls on the back of his head, They've been there
for years.
Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
They're very volumptuous, They're extra volumptuous.
Speaker 5 (01:05:36):
Today, very popular.
Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
How long do I have to do this?
Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
We have.
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
Come on, not that long, guys.
Speaker 4 (01:05:45):
Just one song and I gotta use.
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Baby Oil one. I'm gonna throw up. Okay, you know what?
Should we? Should we instagram live this?
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
For sure.
Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
I need to open this.
Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
Okay, you know what what.
Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Fine, Let's go live on Insta. Do you want to
go live on Instagram?
Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
Yeah? Okay, she's opening the baby Oil. Let's do it.
Let's go live at.
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Mixed one O two nine FM, follow us and go live.
We'll do it next. Cannas I'll do I got Weezer
tickets to give away. I'll do that next and I'll
start rubbing rolls right now. But just let me do
it on Instagram. I'm gonna throw up. I'm seriously sick
to my stomach. I do not want to touch him,
no offense. Pooh, yeah, I just good. I don't want
(01:06:35):
to touch another man's roles.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Yeah, how you think I feel?
Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
Okay, go follow us, Candis you want to go live
on Instagram, I'll do it. You can tell we're live
right now, all right at mixed one O two nine
FM on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
I'll rub the rolls next.
Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
Yay.
Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
Disgusting stories in the morning, only mixed one or two point.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
If I sound a little discombobulated, it's because I lost
the Wheel of Misfortune and I just had to rub
Poo's rolls on the back.
Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Of his head.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
I had to massage them with baby oil and hands.
The top three grossest thing that's ever happened to me.
And we were live on Instagram. Of course, give us
a minute, we'll try to post some of it. It
was Cannice is everything that I thought it would be awful,
you know, I didn't think it was going to be
as gross as it was. But I think it was
(01:07:26):
the fact that, like, they're so smooth, Oh, they're so smooth,
and I almost like squishy. Oh, there's so much meat
to it that it was just like massage and something
very like a snail, almost like a okay, or like
a hairless cat. Oh, it was not one of my
(01:07:48):
finer moments, but I am glad I got that out
of the wind.
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
Job.
Speaker 5 (01:07:52):
Yeah, me too, such a relief.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Oh what's going on?
Speaker 4 (01:07:55):
Well, we got to talk about this. Over a thousand
teachers and forwarth isd have submitted their resignations going into
the new school years. So the state took over the
district about three months ago. They had, you know, f
reports gratings coming out from multiple schools year over year.
The incoming superintendent pledge this would mean good things for teachers,
(01:08:16):
like better pay and better leadership. Teachers leaving say the
exact opposite happened, chaotic leadership, intense micromanagement, and difficult working conditions.
I guess they said they were given prepackaged lessons and
told not to worry about writing their own lesson plans.
So basically like a script scripted lessons for the school year.
So a lot of teachers you know, said no, this
(01:08:37):
isn't really right for me and are deciding to leave
the district.
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
Well, thinking about them. Teachers have it hard enough as
it is.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
Yeah, and the families and parents, you know, getting ready
to go back guys. Target just recalled over two hundred
thousand pairs of cat and jacket toddler girls sandals. This
is because of the plastic pearls on them. They say
they can come off and become a choking hazard. So
these are ten sandals with gold bucket and decorative pearl
sizes five T to twelve T. They were sold at
(01:09:04):
Target stores nationwide and online from January to May of
this year for around twenty dollars. So if you do
have those sandals, just to heads up, that's a scary
thing when you have, you know, a little one with
something that we've become a choking hazard.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
No, that's the last thing you need.
Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
Yeah, And we were talking about the World Cup earlier
this morning. FIFA now says they're selling the grass from
the World Cup final match yesterday. So basically what they're
selling is is six inch square of grass from MetLife Stadium.
It sells for four hundred and fifty dollars. They're only
going to be shipping to Europe and the US, so
if you want a piece of the field from yesterday.
(01:09:40):
You can get it?
Speaker 1 (01:09:41):
How much did you say?
Speaker 5 (01:09:41):
Four hundred and fifty dollars for?
Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Like, I mean it's just a small patch. But I
thought to myself, how are you going to keep it alive?
It's in a glass case. You have to take it
out and water it.
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
Yeah, I don't know if they've like put some kind
of preservative on it to like, you know, I don't know,
protect it.
Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
But yeah, it's in a little glass case.
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
I'm not going to say it's stupid because people like
unique souvenirs and they're so passionate about the World Cup.
I mean, whatever you want to spend your money on.
But I mean I've bought two stupid stuff, So I.
Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
Mean you got me when you told me you bought
a piece of Princess Diana's wedding cake, which I did.
Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
This is six maybe one of the top three dumbest
purchases I've ever made. Actually, you know what, No, I'm
glad I did. Yeah it were you No, probably not.
It was a small piece, but I don't know why
I bought it. I found it online and yet it's
a small When I say it's a small piece, I'm
talking about the size of my thumbnail.
Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Oh wow, that's small. But it's a piece of her
wedding cake from her wedding from the Royal Wedding.
Speaker 4 (01:10:34):
Is it smashed between two pieces of glass or like, how.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Do they It's in a small case and with a
little plaque and it says a piece of wedding cake
from Princess Diana's way.
Speaker 5 (01:10:46):
The fact that you just admitted that again is my favorite.
Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
Can I be honest?
Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
I had a little problem during COVID where I like
to how do I put this drink and shop online?
Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
Okay, and I'd have a few drinks and then it
I'd be like, I need that.
Speaker 5 (01:11:01):
That's shark tooth.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Yeah, no dinosaur tooth? Oh dinosaur either way. Piece of
the Titanic?
Speaker 5 (01:11:08):
Yeah, do you have a piece of the Titanic?
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
I do?
Speaker 4 (01:11:10):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
But I wasn't even drunk. Okay, that was before I
saw the movie. I bought a piece. It's actually a
really cool piece. It's signed by Leonardo DiCaprio. Is it
really Kate Winsley?
Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
Okay, just tell me, did you pay more or less
than this piece of grass?
Speaker 5 (01:11:23):
Corosts four fifty more?
Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
Sound was proud of it.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Yeah, I'm not happy about my a lot of my
financial decisions.
Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
We're going to turn off your WiFi.
Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Thank you, all right, I'm Candasloppez. Those are your Texas
Top stories on Dirty Little Secrets.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
On NIX one O two point nine.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Bairey to kid Canda, Slowpans producer Phoo, if you've got
a secret eight three three seven eight seven one O
two nine and now my secret forever is going to
be a misogyn on the man's roles.
Speaker 5 (01:11:55):
That's a secret on the back of his head video.
Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
Yeah, I know it's old studio, smells like baby oil
and a cheap candle.
Speaker 1 (01:12:03):
Yeah, because in a cheap candle wheel a misfortune I lost.
Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
I had to massage the back of Poo's head and
that was top three grossest things I've ever had to do.
Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
It's not a cheap candle. What is it, Poo, It's
it's two blond brothers. Dude, this is pretty expensive. Wait
what too? Blind? That's the brand? That's your candle? Yeah,
you brought that in for this. I've had no, I've
had it in the other studio. You know how. I'm
a candle freak, so yeah, Candas doesn't like those candles. Toxic.
Everything's toxic?
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
Are they cannis? Are those really toxic candles?
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
Some of them are? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
Is that why you don't burn candles?
Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
Are?
Speaker 6 (01:12:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
Candis is so wow?
Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Everything's topics.
Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
Now do you smell this baby oil?
Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
Toxic?
Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
Discuss?
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
Great? Everything's toxic? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
If you got a secret eight three to three seven
eight seven one o two nine, go ahead, now you
have one.
Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
So what's up?
Speaker 6 (01:12:59):
And I know this makes me sound like a terrible person,
but I am addicted to flirting with married men. And
before everyone breaks out, I only everyone jumping down my
throat on this one. But let me just say I
have never ever hooked up with a single one of them,
not even a kiss. That's where I draw the line.
Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
Never.
Speaker 6 (01:13:17):
But right, but that being said, I do know what
I'm doing is messed.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Up, So okay, very unique situation. Why married men?
Speaker 6 (01:13:30):
I mean, I've just gotten this weird rush from seeing
if I could get a married man to take the bait,
and I've been doing it for years now. I'll start,
you know, with just an innocent conversation and be a
little extra friendly, maybe throw out a compliment or two
and just wait, and you know, the second he starts
(01:13:50):
crossing a line or you know, trying to chase me,
it's over. I ghost him completely, I disappear.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
So god so as soon as he takes the bait
and he goes and you know, okay, I got him on,
I got him locked down.
Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
That's when you're like, bye, the thrill is over.
Speaker 6 (01:14:07):
The thrill is over, like it never ever, you know, happened.
Because I'm like I said, I'm not trying to break
up anybody's marriage. But I don't know if there's just
something you know that there's a particular rush from getting
a married man to do it. I have tried doing
the same thing with single guys, but it just doesn't
give me the same feeling. And I don't know exactly why.
(01:14:27):
There is just something about proving to myself that a
married man would risk it all just for the attention.
You know, It's like some kind of sick game that
I play in my head. And I really hate admitting that,
but you know, it is my dirty little secret.
Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
No, I appreciate you being honest with us.
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
I do, even though it's sometimes hard to hear, because
I know if anyone's married, like Cannas is married, you're like, dude, no.
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
This is absolutely cringe. It's given me like right, like,
but I.
Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
Almost feel like you can't control it.
Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
Well, I mean I am kind of trying to get
to the bottom of that. I actually am in therapy
because I I know this isn't normal, but plus it's
you know, everyone could use an impartial party to talk to.
But my therapist says it's about validation and control, and
while she's probably right, I just, you know, I feel
(01:15:16):
like I just need to I don't know, is this
so crazy because I don't even enjoy hurting people, and
I know that, like the risk of hurting people doing
this is like really high. I just get addicted to
that moment when you know they choose to chase me.
Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
Yeah, son, And you probably don't care about hurting a
married man who's gonna, you know, be unfaithful.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
You're like, who cares about his feelings?
Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
So as long as you're not cheating, you don't feel
like you're hurting the woman in that marriage.
Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
Right, Okay?
Speaker 6 (01:15:42):
Yeah, I don't know. I just think that beyond it
being weird and it's kind of unexplainable and kind of
something that I do at this point feel like I
don't really have control over. I do think that I've
ruined my own chances of having a healthy relationship because
of this.
Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Wow, everyone else is.
Speaker 6 (01:16:02):
I mean, if I'm out here just busy playing this
stupid game you know that never ends, instead of you know,
looking for someone real and something real, you know, I
feel like I'm really, you know, risking my chances of
ever having a healthy relationship, which I do honestly want
so well.
Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
I mean, I think the good news is you know
that it's a problem. You're going to therapy for it,
right there.
Speaker 6 (01:16:27):
Is, I guess, yeah. The first, you know, way of
overcoming the problem is admitting that you have one.
Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
Like if I'm a psychologist, the first question I'm asking
is did a married man hurt you? Like in the past,
did a married man hurt you or lead you on
or anything anything like that that can you could think
of that goes This is why I do.
Speaker 6 (01:16:43):
This, I like, not romantically. I mean, I guess you
could say I have some abandonment issues. I am a
product of divorce, But you know, I don't think that's
enough to a lot of people get divorced out there,
you know, not everyone that's out here trying to games
like married men into you know, doing something untoward outside
(01:17:04):
of their marriage and then leaving them, you know, so
you never know.
Speaker 5 (01:17:07):
That need for validation comes from somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
That's what I would think, definitely does.
Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
It's like people who scroll and scroll on the internet
and never socialize because they're getting like some kind of
brain trigger of validation when they see something exciting online.
Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Well, I guess, good, good, that you're getting help, because
I do think at the end of the day, you
want to be happy, and if this is not making you,
it's hurting your chances of being in a real relationship,
then nobody wants.
Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
That because you're distracted by this, right right.
Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
I think everybody can relate.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Everybody can relate, I think a little bit to the
desire of wanting to get chased or pursued. Yeah, so
I get that part. I just don't understand the married
man part, right because.
Speaker 4 (01:17:46):
I wouldn't be putting myself in a situation where I'm
around married men, you know, to.
Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
Be able to execute this thing.
Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
It is. But I think that's the part where it's like, oh,
not only is this a man, this guy has a
whole life, but he wants me. Yeah, you know, and
he's willing to risk it all, so hey, it's a
non judgment zone. Thank you so much for your confession, though.
It means a lot that you called us and let
us know what happens, and hopefully you can stop this absolutely.
Speaker 6 (01:18:12):
Thank you so much for having me on.
Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
You're welcome. Listen. You want something you can't have.
Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
Yeah, and some people get an absolute rush out of that, right,
whether it's right or wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
And yeah, she does, and I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
About to get out of here, thank god, because I
need to go home and shower immediately, shout and douse
myself in clorox.
Speaker 1 (01:18:33):
It's mixed one or two point nine.
Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
And Billy the Kid cannielow Pez producer Pooh, I lost
to Wielim his fortune today. I had a massage Pooh's
rolls on the back of his head and it was
oddly much grosser than I ever anticipated. So yeah, I
got the L today, even though I didn't lose in trivia.
That's the crazy part about the Wielam's fortune. Poo's looks,
he spins and he gets past the L and he
(01:18:55):
passes the L to me.
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Of course he is because we fight like brother of
course he's going to do that looking out for your
boy today.
Speaker 4 (01:19:02):
Yes's your girl is going to have to do that.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
I so want to. Can't just do that. She brought
in gloves just in case.
Speaker 5 (01:19:09):
I thought about it.
Speaker 4 (01:19:10):
All week and I'm like.
Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
Please no, which is kind of offensive to you.
Speaker 4 (01:19:16):
Each other.
Speaker 5 (01:19:16):
It's just weird.
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
It is weird, but you think I wanted to.
Speaker 5 (01:19:20):
It's less weird for you.
Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
To offend as long as we've known each other, and.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
You over here dry even you know what it was.
I just don't. I didn't expect that they were going
to be so like juicy juicy. They were very squashy.
You know how the kids love these needles? Yeah, you
could remember. Okay, I have the perfect example, and it's
(01:19:46):
going to be a weird analogy. You remember the things
when you were a kid. They were like almost like
a balloon, water balloon, but they would be like a
hot dog and they would slip through your hands and.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
Flower in it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
Yes, yeah, that's what his roles are. They're plump, kind
of slippery pizza.
Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
Come on, wow is a good word pizza.
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
So we'll see you tomorrow. We'll do that again.
Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Of course, we'll have another dirty little secret at seven thirty,
which I'm excited about because I'm getting ready right now.
Speaker 1 (01:20:18):
This guy is unique, that's all.
Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
I'm gonna say what he does and why he doesn't
want to tell women this because he feels like it'll
be a deal breaker. Yeah, he has a very interesting
hobby that relaxes him. That'll be dirty.
Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
Little secret tomorrow. I know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
We'll see you later on. Don't forget. It's why two
K Monday so Weezer tickets all day. Zan's gonna have
some at three o'clock, so get ready for that. We'll
see you tomorrow. Have a great day.
Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
Bye.
