When does a harmless habit become a secret and what happens when doing the “right thing” suddenly causes chaos? On this jam‑packed episode of Billy The Kidd In The Morning, Billy the Kidd, Candice Lopez, and Producer Pooh kick off the week with laughs, uncomfortable truths, and conversations that instantly turn into group‑chat debates. The show opens with Mother’s Day recaps that feel more like Father’s Day celebrations, including a Rangers game outing that ends with Candice’s son catching his first-ever foul ball a childhood dream moment that steals the spotlight. Producer Pooh shares his own unconventional Mother’s Day experience, which somehow includes Dillard’s, Birkenstocks on clearance, Auntie Anne’s pretzels, and a parenting moment that leaves the studio questioning everything. But the episode truly takes a turn during Dirty Little Secret.A married man admits he’s been lying to his wife not about another woman, but about what he’s doing after work. After being “banned” from video games at home due to an unhealthy obsession, he secretly moved his PlayStation to his office, stays late under the guise of finishing work, and plays instead. The studio dives into addiction, boundaries, honesty, and whether this counts as harmless self‑care… or emotional avoidance.. And the Hot Take of the Day sparks major debate: If you’re riding in the car with your partner and their mom  who gets the front seat?
A viral video fuels the conversation, and listeners weigh in passionately on loyalty, hierarchy, and unspoken rules no one warns you about.
Don’t forget to subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode  especially with someone who’s ever fought over the front seat or stayed “late at work”… for suspicious reasons.

How was your day?

Speaker 5 (00:43):
Yeah, it was so good. Yeah, it was very fun.

Speaker 6 (00:46):
I got to sleep in my family maybe breakfast blueberry pancakes.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
Which is my face.

Speaker 6 (00:51):
Yeah, and then we all went to the Rangers game yesterday.
Bailey and Gallian had us out in their beautiful suite
and it.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Was such a good time and we enjoy the game.
And so we got a foul ball.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
We've been to, you know, numerous Rangers games and never
even come close.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
He caught a ball.

Speaker 6 (01:06):
He well, it came into our section like this, and
Eric reached out to grab it and it just like
bounced off his hand like this, hit the ground. In
the seat in front of us, and there was no
one in that seat, and so the lady picked it
up and handed it to Enzo. Yeah, Danny Jansen hit
that ball and it was like slow motion the way
it was coming up, like right to I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
But he he doesn't play for the Rangers.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Though, No, he does. Yees.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
Yeah, it was one of our players. Yeah, and he's
a newer player. But did not let that ball go
for the rest of the day.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
That was always my dream as a kid to catch
a foul ball, and I never did once.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Well, he forgot his glove.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
We just realized on the way to you know, Globe Life,
that we didn't take our gloves or whatever.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
So I wish he had had it. But he has
that ball and it's just like so happy.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
About its called him in.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I don't know, bar somebody's on
our little league team.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I used to go to the games back of the
day when I was a kid, and I would take
my glove because I thought, I mean, they might need me. Yeah,
kid head, I was like, they might have to call
me in. Yeah, this might be the day where I
go up to the big leagues.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Always be prepared.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
It looked like a good time. I also feel like
Mom's you deserve another day, deserve another day anyway.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Well, you know what's funny is my brother said because
I got to take my brother and his family too,
and my parents.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
And at the end, my brother was.

Speaker 6 (02:24):
Like, this really felt like Father's Day.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
It was like, can y'all just pick what we do
for Father's Day?

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Right?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Okay, that's fair. Yeah, it was very a Father's Day
activities like a baseball.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
Game, but you love I do. It was a great day.
And then we got home and Zoe said, Mom, can
we start a new Mother's Day tradition? And I'm like, yeah,
what is it?

Speaker 6 (02:42):
And he's like, well, mom gets to pick what we
watch on TV.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Oh. I was like, okay, this is how how many times.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
In life I pick what we watch? Because it's always
racing sports?

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Which I like that?

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Which you picked racing? Anyway?

Speaker 8 (02:54):
Probably?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Yeah pretty much?

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Okay, Well, I mean I also feel like it should
be a redo day because the weather was so weird.
It was yesterday, like my house had hailed at one
point and then it was sunny, then it hailed again. Yeah.
I was like, come on, a Mom's Day. We can
at least do better than this.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Yeah, well, let's do it again. Let's do a makeup.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Well, you deserved a couple of days anyway.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Yeah, all right, good a good day.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
I'm pretty sure poo is here. Good morning, Pooh? How
are you?

Speaker 9 (03:17):
I'm good, I'm good. I switched weekends with baby Mama.
That was her Mother's Day, get you okay? She wanted
a day all to a weekend all to herself.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
She had a whole weekend.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah, yeah, she probably had a hot day. Yeah, well,
I'm just throwing that out.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
I mean, do you I.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Mean yeah, yeah, it's not fun. You're not together anymore.
It doesn't doesn't yourself. I mean it only does it
bother you that.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
You know, it don't bother me?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
You miss her?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
No, I'm just having it.

Speaker 9 (03:46):
But I took the kids out and we we went shopping.
Have you when's the last time you went to Dillards
the dealers in Firewheel Wall?

Speaker 3 (03:55):
And I was like, oh, let's go into Dialer.

Speaker 9 (03:59):
So we went to and we're shopping for we were
supposed to shop for their mom a gift, but in
turn the day of yeah, well wow, that's my kids,
you know, what I mean, that's you.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Kids are not responsible for that at that age. That
is a poop problem. They need to remember toes if
your man messed up eight three three seven eight seven
one two nine. Okay, well they need to remember their kids.

Speaker 9 (04:26):
I mean they're fourteen and thirteen. They can remember that.
I mean, come on your mama.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
They don't have a way to get okay, hey.

Speaker 9 (04:33):
Dad, take me so I could go pick up a
gift for my mom. It's not that anyway. I ended
up buying them burket stocks of course.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah. Man wants some shoes. Yeah, and I'm like, god,
ve those things are expensive.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, well they were own clearance dealers.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Yeah, don't hate on.

Speaker 6 (04:49):
Dellis some good deals.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Is this a dealer at all?

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Really just doing it.

Speaker 9 (04:56):
We had a Sunday fun day, went by Auntie Ann's
and talked of the day.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
You know what, I mean, perfect day.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Can you We're gonna have to cut you off Annie Ann's.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
He doesn't get just one little pretzel bite for one
little bag. The dude has a bag the size of
his head.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Last time I saw him get him it was like
a popcorn bucket.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
I haven't even seen that I didn't even know he
sold that.

Speaker 8 (05:20):
Do that?

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Yeah, a two hundred packs.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
He had a two hundred pack of Annie and you
got to be a rewards member. But what flavor do
you usually give?

Speaker 7 (05:30):
You?

Speaker 3 (05:30):
A an cinnamon, the cinnamon sugar.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Look he's getting excited just to sugar.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (05:36):
And then my kid's got the cinnamon sugar too, so okay. Yeah,
this is a Sunday fun.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Day for you. I think it was Father's.

Speaker 9 (05:42):
Dad Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in.

Speaker 10 (05:46):
The morning only on the New Mixed one O two
point nine.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Early on a Monday morning. And it's definitely early too,
and yes, definitely a Monday. But it's all we got this. Yeah,
it's gonna be a good weekend of slow pez. What
is going on?

Speaker 6 (05:58):
Yeah, much quieter weather for the work week. Two leoks
dry this week, so that'll be out later today, which
is good. We'll get up to about eighty four that
we're gonna warm up close to the nineties midweek and
rain back for the weekend. It is fifty nine degrees
right now.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Are you mad about the rain?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
I'm just over it. Yeah, O, Saturday was nice. They
said it was going to rain Saturday for a little bit,
but it didn't. It was beautiful.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Yeah, I loved it. Guys.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
We have new details on the man who died after
being hit by a Frontier Airlines plane at Denver International
Airport over the weekend. So that flight had been cleared
for takeoff, went about thirty seconds into that plane rolling,
the pilot suddenly stopped.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
That plane.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
Video from a passenger shows smoke inside the cabin before.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
It was evacuated.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
But they're saying this man basically jumped the airport's fence
and was struck two minutes later while crossing that runway.
At first, people thought, you know, this had to be
an airport employee, but the person was described as a trespasser.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
On social media.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
But that flight was later canceled and that runway is
closed so they could.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
Do some investigating.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Did you see the video?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
I did not see the video, somebody.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
You know how people film or if they record when
they're taking off or whatever, you don't see the person,
thank god good. But you see them about to take off,
and I mean they're going pretty obviously very fast, and
you just see like a fireball, and that was when
they struck this person. And it's just horrible because I

(07:22):
don't know what this person was going through, but it
was obviously they were not mentally okay. I don't know
if drugs were involved, but they were also at that point,
thank god, everybody on the planes okay, because they were
at that point almost You know, when you're flying, you
have to take off, if you're at a certain speed,
you have to take off because there'll be no stopping.
Then you'll definitely crash. So they were almost at that point,
and they probably would have been down an engine and

(07:43):
who knows what would have happened in the air, right, So.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Just scary, yeah, really scary to hear that late Friday night.
But there's an update for you guys. We have to
talk about Spirit Airlines. Of course, they are still making
headlines because now Papa John says you could use your
Spirit Airlines loyalty points for free pizza. So they're calling
this Pizza's gonna be late sky Pie.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
We're canceled.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
Yeah, well, so for a limited time, I guess Spirit
loyalty members can d m Papa John's on Instagram. God,
this is a whole process for one free pizza, but
you basically have to show him proof that you are
a member of the Spirit Loyalty you know program, and
then also a Papa John's Reward member.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
They'll beaar fight and give you a code for a
free pizza.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
So this is genius that Papa John's is doing. This
is because they're just capitalizing on the momentum of Spirit Airlines.
They have nothing to do with the pizza. They just
want the promotional mentioned so they're getting it. But because
who's going to jump through all.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
These hoops, right, it's so silly.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
To you the free Papa John's pizza.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Right, Oh, I don't know who's doing that real quick, guys.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Katie Perry will perform before the first World Cup game
in the US. This concert will happen ninety minutes before
the US men's national team plays their first match.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
We're only about a month away from this tournament, guys.

Speaker 6 (08:58):
FIFA, I guess plans opening ceremonies in each host nation.
But they're saying this performance will be kind of like
a Super Bowl halftime show and that it's about thirteen
minutes long. But it'll be Katie, a future Black Peaks, Lisa,
a couple of other performers, and then there will also
be performances in Houston and Philadelphia before the July fourth matches.
But yeah, cool, We're starting to get all the hype

(09:20):
around the World Cup.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Which I am kind of excited about in a weird way.
But at the same time, I'm also dreading the traffic. Yeah,
is that a bad thing? No, just getting when you
get older, you get grompy.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Yeah, it hits.

Speaker 6 (09:32):
Harder for us in life, and we're just kind of
over it, which could be traffic. But I just wish
I was such a big, a bigger fan of soccer.
I like soccer, it's cool, but I just don't have
any like experience or passion for the game. So hopefully
this helps me if I watch a couple of matches
and I can get in.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
You know, where's everybody coming in from?

Speaker 11 (09:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Question all over?

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, I guess everywhere because there's airbnbs going for thousands
of dollars right, not even close to at and T.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Yeah, you wouldn't know you know what house is going
to play out.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
As far as who's playing who until it gets going right?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Yeah? Who are these people that can just leave work
for weeks.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
To selling his house or whatever?

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Guys selling his house to come to the world right.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
How much was.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
Yeah, I don't know, over in Europe somewhere, but yeah,
good for him.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I think it was maybe you know, two hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Oh yeah, yeah, trant for what? What do you need
to come here and just hang out?

Speaker 6 (10:24):
Yeah, he's I think he goes to every World Cup.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
If there's anything I'm that passionate about.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
Yeah, is there anything that your.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
House would sell your house to go?

Speaker 10 (10:33):
No?

Speaker 5 (10:33):
No, we literally know. But welcome to you know, Dallas Stadium.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Welcome.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Yeah, I'm cann of Slopez.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Those are your Texas top stories on mixed one.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
Of two point nine?

Speaker 4 (10:42):

you franchise and Antians Pretzels?

Speaker 3 (10:48):

Speaker 4 (10:50):

a kid. I don't know why I used to love that.
I used to love all the stuff on Ice Disney,
on Ice just Live. So yeah, put it on ice
and it was so fun.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
This is not on ice, but it's still fun. That's it.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Yeah, live ye Sesame Street Live. You don't want not live? No,
you show up there and they're.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Just sitting there.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
That's not live. All right, let's hook you up. Who's this?

Speaker 5 (11:31):

Speaker 4 (11:55):

right now?

Speaker 11 (11:58):

Speaker 8 (11:59):
I would have worked.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Are you a mom? No, I'm not, but I have
an adopted baby brother that's three that will love this.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Oh that's adorable.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Well good. I was gonna say, hopefully you had a
good weekend that if it's Mother's Day. But you know what,
this is even cuter. That's that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Sweet, Yes, I'm excited.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Well awesome, We're gonna hook you up. Thank you. How
was your weekend?

Speaker 10 (12:16):
Though?

Speaker 4 (12:16):
It was good?

Speaker 6 (12:16):
It was really good.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yeah, we celebrated my mom and it was really fun.

Speaker 8 (12:19):
So yeah it was good.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Well, sweet, Well, thank you so much for listen. We
appreciate that. Have a good day. I know it's Monday.
The struggle is real. But you got this and stay

Speaker 11 (12:29):
Okay, okay, thank you, You're welcome.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Nina's got a good memory, because who does have an ex?
Remember I talked about her one time? Oh yeah, he
does have an ex and clever.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Remember which one?

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Well, I'll tell you which one she works? Remember the one?
Remember the girl he dated that worked on the farm. Yeah,
he dated a woman for a little while who worked
on a farm. Oh yeah, yeah, I forget what they
call him? The who's the person who changes the shoes
on the horse?

Speaker 11 (12:52):
Swer?

Speaker 3 (12:53):
What is it called a shoer?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Yeah? I think a seer. Shees a shoer. Okay, and
she's one of the the first woman in Texas to
do it with her teeth so she can she bites
him off. No, it's amazing. He took me out there
to watch her. Yea, yeah, we got KFC and we
went to the farm and watched her do it for

(13:17):
like three hours, and I couldn't stop watching. She would
just just grab the horse, wouldn't even tranquilize it or nothing.
I don't know what they normally do. Oh they don't Well,
she would grab the foot of that horse and just
bite the old shoe off and slap the new one
on and then nail it in there with the nails

(13:39):
and everything.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
We didn't.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
We didn't work out. I don't know why I miss her.
She was controlled. Well, she did the same thing with Pele.
She grab his feet too. So all right, let's do
it real or fake news. But good memory, Nina, Yeah,
what a good memory? Do you miss her?

Speaker 7 (13:57):
No?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Okay, all right, let's do a real fake news. I'm
gonna give me three headlines, gonna tell me which one
is fake, and there's some crazy ones. This is why
we do this, just talk about the ridiculous stories in
the news. Are you ready, Candice?

Speaker 8 (14:09):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (14:09):
Who are you ready? First headline? Man fired? Oh I'm
gonna not make it through this.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
One.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Man fired from funeral home after management discovered he'd been
playing Who Let the Dogs Out during every viewing since
twenty and seventeen at a very low volume.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
We've been talking about, Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Man fired from funeral home after management discovered he'd been
playing Who Let the Dogs Out? During every viewing since
twenty seventeen at a very low volume. So they didn't notice,
but he got a little.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Kick out of it.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
I think I would notice if I'm at a if
I'm at a viewing, Yeah, and I hear him, I'm
gonna notice. All right. Headline number one, Can.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
We did that?

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Well? I mean, listen, it's real or fake? You're picking
a minute cannas. Calm down over there, very spicy on
a Monday.

Speaker 11 (15:09):
All right.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Headline number two. Kentucky woman arrested for giving her toddler
a tattoo. Kentucky woman arrested for giving her toddler a tattoo.
Headline number three. Women arrested after posing as costco sample
employee and she was handing out her own meatballs. Woman

(15:30):
arrested after posing as costco sample employee. Yeah, she was
handing out her own meatballs. Yeah, okay, Three wild headlines,
right wild, first thing on a Monday morning. You get
a decipher which one of these is fake? Cannash? Do
you want to go first? You want to pass toapoo?

Speaker 6 (15:47):
I'm gonna go first today. Lock me in for that first.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
You were so mad about that first story. Yeah, you
don't think that's real. No, you don't think there's a
funeral director or someone out there that controls of music
might be playing who let the Dogs Out? All right,
let's lock that in, thank you? Locked in the producer, pooh,
which one do you think is the fake story? He's tickled?

Speaker 9 (16:07):
Put me, put me down for that last story costco
employee employee impersonator.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
I don't sell their own me balls.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Let's lock that in right now, locked in in, you
were done? Okay? The winner today to kick off the
week on a Monday, bright and early, it's Candice lo Pass.
I think playlist that funerals should be more fun anyway.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
But yeah, you're right, that was the fake one that
I made up.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Choose.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
No one's playing who let the Dogs Out at a funeral?
Thank goodness didn't happen. But what did happen is these
other stories and these are just I mean unreal. I
can't believe this story that happened in Kentucky where this
woman was charged with child abuse because she gave her
toddler a tattoo. What you gave him a tattoo?

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Real tattoo?

Speaker 4 (17:06):
You have tatted up?

Speaker 1 (17:07):
What?

Speaker 8 (17:07):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Toddler tattoos are a thing. They are catching on. Yeah wow,
I mean fairness to the mom. Get out of the way. Kid,
Mom's trying to give herself a tattoo.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
Jeez, what is.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Going on in that trailer?

Speaker 5 (17:22):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Yeah, what is happening where you're like, hey, move, mom
is trying to get a tattoo. Yeah, well then get
over here and dotted that kid up.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Wow, no.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Story, this kid's gonna tell and when it's older.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah. I get my first tattoo when I was three. Yeah,
I mean three years old and you're already tatted up. Wow,
good for him.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Edgy, all right?

Speaker 4 (17:46):
The other story, she said, Edgy, something like that. Woman
arrested after posing as a Costco sample employee was handing
out her own meat balls. This happened in Arizona. Thirty
one year old Sienna Halverson busted after four hours posing
as a Costco sampler, serving two hundred and twenty homemade

(18:06):
meatballs from a crock pot on a folding table where
she had a Venmo code where people could donate or
buy the meatballs right then and there. Yeah, and she
and by the way, her mugshot if this is real,
she's cute.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
She is a cute, like cute woman. She's like, hey,
you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go to
the Costco and I'm just gonna find my own customers.
And she had the little Venmo set up and people
thought she was she' said you know what, if you
don't want to wait in line, don't worry about that.
You can just venmo it right here that way in.
It's just one last thing you got to pick. Yeah,
a lot of people because I mean this is brilliant

(18:42):
because now she's yeah, okay, she had to go to jail,
but she got a ton of money out of it.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
And now I forget the name of her company, but
it's in the story. So now she's got free advertising.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Wait, so she legit sells meatballs.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
You know, she legit sells meatballs. It's not like she's
just making it up for a little hustle. She's passionate
about her meatball. Oh yeah, so I mean it was
worth it.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
But a staff member walked by and they were like,
what is going on here? Four hours?

Speaker 11 (19:08):
How?

Speaker 4 (19:08):
What is going on at Costco? They don't realize the
seventh four hours They're like, wait, who are you? And
why is there Venmo code out here?

Speaker 5 (19:16):
What does the uniform at Costco look like.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
But that's the thing. Those samplers they're not usually yeah
or something, but they're not from Costco. They're they're like
contracted out.

Speaker 9 (19:26):
Yeah, Songly have to hair, have the hair in it
and the little plastic to cover their hands and how
do you know?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Are you serious? I go to Costco Costco to get
them samples all the time. Okay, calm down.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I've never seen so it's so passionately mad about so
I know exactly what they were in there just to
get the samples.

Speaker 9 (19:46):
I mean, I shop a little bit, but yeah, them samples,
you just go all around as well.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
Yeah, it's been about a good hour and a half. Girl,
I'll see you later. I'd love to hang out, but
I gotta go to Costco to get the sample. I'll
be back in about four and a half hours.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Wow you go.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
So she was arrested, but she's got some money, she's
got some free advertising. Wow, there you go, real or
fake news?

Speaker 5 (20:05):
Wow, it's tough stories on the Tents with Billy the
Kid in the.

Speaker 10 (20:09):
Morning only on the new Mixed one O two point nine.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
You're ready, We've got a dirty little secret coming up
at seven point thirty. This guy says, well, he's hiding
something from his wife, but it's not something normal. Okay,
that's all he said. So we'll do that coming up
seven thirty Dirty little secret, Candelopez, what is going on?

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Well, passengers from the cruise ship.

Speaker 6 (20:27):
Responsible for a hantavirus outbreak have started flying home on
military planes after the ship was finally able to dock.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
I know this story. It's just really strange.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I don't like this at all.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
Yeah, So, the seventeen Americans that were on board or
were flown to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. One
person has tested positive but is not showing symptoms. At
this point, they are being taken to the Nebraska bio
Containment Unit and then the rest will go to a
national quarantine unit just for monitoring. Health officials do say
the risk to the public is low. This is not

(21:00):
another COVID. But this facility at Omaha, I guess it
has like twenty single person three hundred square foot rooms
with negative air pressure systems to contain any possible viruses.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
But they say it's like a hotel room.

Speaker 6 (21:13):
They have exercise equipment, food delivery, and things like Wi Fi.
They're not quote unquote technically being quarantine, but they will
be there while they're monitored for symptoms because they say
it could take you know, a few weeks before these
symptoms show.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Up, so they're going to be well, yeah, they are
being quarantined. What do you mean not officially quarantined.

Speaker 6 (21:32):
I hope they're allowing them. Do you want to stay
here and be monitored or do you want to go.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Home and be monitored?

Speaker 7 (21:37):
Right?

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Oh, they can't go home. Wait, I'm sorry, but no,
you cannot go home. This is I don't trust. Yeah, no,
we're not going through this again.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Uh uh no. Well, and they're saying the risk is low.
I'll definitely if you posted. I don't know. This one
feels different for me for some reason.

Speaker 6 (21:52):
But maybe it's because I've gone down the rabbit holes
on social media, which I don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Do your own research.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Do they even let this ship come town shore?

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Like stay out there for a little while. Y'all got food?
We can drop someone? Yeah, door dash food to you, drone.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
I'm glad they were finally able to get off, but
then you know, there were people from seventeen countries flying home,
you know, to be monitored.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Right, but on what on commercial jets?

Speaker 6 (22:18):
I think most of them were you know, military or
government planes from what I heard, I hope, so that's
what I'm saying. Yeah, they're not just gonna put them
on you know, Delta.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
I think they're on Spirit.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
I mean those probably have some planes you know that
are chilling.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
You know, they don't they don't need them no more.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Just let them feels somebody did buy some people are
buying the Spirit airplanes already. Yeah, yeah, no, I really
do think like the wrapper Rick Ross, Bob one really
what a flex just to say he could have one.
I don't think he's gonna paint it. He's gonna drop
fly one around.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Oh gosh, look at me a long time.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
Real quick, guys, This popular gossip reporter is saying Taylor
Swift secretly commissioned six different wedding gowns to be made,
with each involved signing an NDA. This person is saying
she may make several wardrobe changes on her wedding day,
but that some of these dresses are deliberate decoys pretty
much just to see like who's talking, what's going to

(23:13):
get out, and so that certain people will never actually
know what the dress is going to look like until.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
That wedding day.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
But they're also saying, you know, she's been very meticulous
about every single detail of her wedding, and I could
see that.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
For her for sure. She's getting extra wedding dresses just
to throw people off. Yes, this is how you know
you're stupid rich. That is a stupid amount of money
to just waste just for what, Just so it doesn't
get out to the press. Or yeah, someone doesn't leak
the pictures of your wedding dress.

Speaker 6 (23:39):
Yep, Taylor activity there, Yeah for sure.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
Yeah, I'll keep you posting though.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.

Speaker 10 (23:48):
Off your chest to commiss you'll feel better.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret Mix.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
One on two point nine. Be able at a kid?
I need new friends, can't your core? Okay, just because
producer Poo was speaking of dirty Little Secret, I said,
my dirty little Secrets not even a secret, it's not dirty,
but I said it was going to be surprising. Then
I want to learn how to country dance. And look,
he's been making fun of me for an hour now
behind the scenes, those boots to work right, How tight
are your wrangler is going to be? And by the way,

(24:15):
all the people hit me up on Instagram. Thank you,
yes and very tight, but thank you very much sending
me where I can do lessons, and I guess Cowboys
does do them. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Good.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
I thought it was just be cool, something different.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
Because I'd love to watch that.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Now you're making fun of me too.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
You're entertaining, Candae.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
That's not how you mean it. Yeah, that's not how
you mean it. And that's an insult. You're entertaining. What
does that mean? You're entertaining? Yeah, if you could see,
if everyone could see your.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Face, No, I think you'll really like it.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
I want to learn how to do it because I'm
telling you. When I went to Cowboys red River on Saturday,
there was a guy and he was about five five
maybe five five. I mean he was an okay looking
do I can say that, you know, Pooh can't say
this because he's insecure as a man. You can't say
if a guy's good looking on I'm like, he's an
okay looking guy, but he's not the best looking dude
in the place. He was dancing with every single girl

(25:12):
and he was a good dancer. He had ladies just
waiting from lined up and I said, and he looks
so cool out there doing I'm like, I need to
learn how to do that. And then God forbid I
tell my dirty little secret on the air. Pooh laughs
at me.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
I want to do it too.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
I don't want you to go what eight three three
seven eight seven nine. If you've got a dirty little
secret and tell us, fine you can go, but you
can't laugh. Okay, whatever you want to confess, just do
it now. You have a confession, sir? What is going on?

Speaker 7 (25:44):
So I'm kind of lying to my wife about something
something I do after work?

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Oh boy, something you do after work? Are you cheating?

Speaker 1 (25:54):
No?

Speaker 8 (25:55):
Okay, I knew that's where you go. No, no, no,
I never. I would never cheat up my wife.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
I don't like put cheaters on.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
No, no, no, that's not that's not me at all.

Speaker 8 (26:03):
I definitely wouldn't call and tell you guys about it.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Okay, good, so it's not cheating. What are you doing
after work? That's shady.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
I'm playing video games? All right.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
My wife banned me for banned me from playing video games,
So after work, I've been playing.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Video games video games.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Are you fourteen?

Speaker 5 (26:23):
Yeah? Are you grounded?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Yeah? Pretty much?

Speaker 8 (26:28):
Guys like and I understand on her side. For a while,
I got pretty bad. It was like every single day
after work, I'd come home and I would get on
the game for hours, and you know, the weekend they
became like marathons while I was just playing online all
week And you know, I used to even get up early,
but I was addicted. I was obsessed. I would get
up before work and play some play on games, play

(26:50):
Call of Duty for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
I know people. I know people do this because they
are very I mean, my son played Fortnite for a
long time and I started to get into it. I'm like,
I got to stop. I'm a grown man.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Really yeah? Yeah, Oh, Billy would be on Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
I started cussing out ten year old on mine. What
am I doing? What is my life?

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (27:10):
So your wife said enough is enough the kids?

Speaker 8 (27:13):
Yeah, she said, that's this. She goes, I can't watch
a grown man play video games. Twenty four to seven.
She said, it's the most unattractive thing she's ever seen.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Okay, is it really? Because I I do. I know
a lot of friends of mine who are grown ups
who game, and I always wonder how their wives feel
about it. And somewhere I'm sure supported. But is it
Candae as a woman, is it unattractive if a guy
plays a grown man plays video games?

Speaker 6 (27:35):
I mean here and there, I don't have a problem
with it. But if you're spending you know, every day
you're making time the weekends, are these marathons like you're
talking about. Yeah, I'm really questioning what what what your priorities.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Are in life?

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Does it also depend on what video game? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (27:49):
Totally.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Like if you're grown, If you're grown and you're playing Rollbox.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Yeah, yeah, that's a little rid.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Okay, So she said that, and you said, okay, let's
figure this out.

Speaker 8 (28:00):
You know, I was a little embarrassed, and and you know,
I was like, you know what, Bay, fine, I'll stop playing.
And I did. I just stopped playing at home. What
I didn't tell her is, you know, I took the
PlayStation to work.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Oh did you really?

Speaker 7 (28:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (28:17):
Yeah, So my my PS five is at work, and
every now and then I'll be like, hey, I got
to stay late and finish a project, but I'm just
dimming the lights in the office and playing telegame.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Oh my god, You're staying late at work to play
video games and telling her you're working late.

Speaker 11 (28:34):
That's that's it.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Yeah, that's a problem.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
It's better than cheating.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
It is better than cheating, but I mean.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
There's always worse though, Yeah, it could be worse.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
This is bad.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
I don't think it's that bad. Like it's not like
we have kids or anything.

Speaker 8 (28:50):
Okay, And I'm not out like at the bars getting
messed up or anything.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
I'm just playing video games.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
I'm not saying she should cut you off completely, but
staying late, Like if you're doing this a couple times
a week, that's hours away.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
From her, right and you're hiding it.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
And you're hiding it. That's where it gets weird to
me personally.

Speaker 11 (29:09):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I understand it's strange.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
That's why I called you guys to talk about it.

Speaker 8 (29:13):
But also like, I don't know, I'm banned at the
house essentially, like I knew at.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Home I was overdoing it.

Speaker 8 (29:19):
I was overdoing it at the house, but I should
feel like I should still be allowed to play. Sometimes
she basically wants me to just quit completely.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
Well, because it's like an addiction.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Yeah, it is, you know, Candas what if Eric, your
husband came to you and was like, hey, you know
what I've been saying that I'm going on in car
rides with the guys in our Porsche club. But really
I've been going to a gaming facility and playing Minecraft.

Speaker 5 (29:42):
Oh that's weird.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
What if he likes it though?

Speaker 6 (29:47):
Well, I mean, why is he going to a gaming
facility and telling me he's out with his buddies, his
car guys because.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
He knows that you're not gonna want him to play
at home? Right if he says, hey, you know what,
end Zo leave me alone. Can't just leave me alone.
I'm gonna go in the other room and I got
to play my video games for a couple hours.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
Well what am I doing for a few hours?

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I don't care what you do. Yeah, this is me
and my roadblocks time.

Speaker 11 (30:09):
No, I mean, but she but she made she asked
the right question.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
She said, what am I doing for those hours?

Speaker 8 (30:15):
But like a relationship is two individuals coming together, you
have to have your own individual time. And for me,
it's like it's relaxing, it's playing call of duty at
work lying or is it self care?

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (30:29):
Oh, I mean, I guess everybody's version of self care
is different. But I mean, you don't feel like you're addicted.

Speaker 8 (30:39):
I mean the people who are addicted, never admit it.
I would say I'm very obsessed with it, but also
like I was able to not do it at the house.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Yeah, well that's okay. All right, I'm gonna see what
ladies thing. I'm gonna see if any other women experience
this problem where they have to cut their grown, grown men,
young husbands and boyfriends off from video games. We'll see
what they say. But hey, we do appreciate your secret,
and thank you for being honest with us.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Thank you. Guys, talk to you too.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
It's a non judgment zone.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
But the dudes are weird, all right.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
He's going for Cannis Court. It gets settled here with
Billy the Kid in the morning.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
All rise for the honible Judge Candace Lopez. She's serving
up justice. Here we go. If you got something for
at Cannas on air on Instagram, she can solve your
problems to all right, let me go with this one.
I've been seeing a woman that I really enjoy being with,
but her inability to be on time is becoming a
problem that I can't look past. That's this guy's voice.
This is what I'm gonna missioning. We're late for everything, movies, parties, concerts,

(31:42):
and there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency
for her to do anything about it. We aren't at
the boyfriend girlfriend stage Jesse yet, and at this point
I'm not sure we'll get to that. The reason I
say that is because I straight up told her, I said,
you know what, I'm done waiting around. If she wanted
to go anywhere that has a set star time, she
can meet me there. Oh if she wasn't ready when

(32:03):
it was time, this weekend could be the first test
of that plan. Where do you think we're gonna go
or do you think she's gonna follow through? I'm afraid
that I I'm afraid that I'm locked into this plan
now because if I don't do what I say I will,
she will have learned that she doesn't have to take
me seriously. Oh, this feels like a make or break scenario.

(32:26):
So this guy basically said to this woman he's dating,
if you're not on time, then guess what, You're just
gonna have to meet me there. Yeah, I'm sorry, this
is just becoming out of control. Okay, which Candice, you
know in this situation, you're you're with someone. First of all,
I think that anyone I've ever been with is this person? Yeah,
I'm I love being on time. Oh same, I think

(32:50):
it's disrespectful to be late consistently.

Speaker 6 (32:54):
Nothing gives me more anxiety than we're about to be late.
I'm being late because of you.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
You're making us late and drives me crazy. And I've
dated a lot of people who just don't have the
same urgency as me.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Yeah, it's just a lot of people in the world,
and we're just kind of the ones that like to
be punctual.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Oh we're looking at one right here. Yeah, producer, Pooh.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
I'm late.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Sometimes you're late all the time, well, except to work.
I will give him that. Yeah, for whatever reason he
shows up. I think he sleeps here. I'm not sure,
but he's late for a lot of things. When you're
dating someone in this situation that's consistently late, how do
you handle this?

Speaker 6 (33:31):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's good to set the
tone and set boundaries early before she continues to be
late and you continue to just fester and be upset
in your mind about it or lash.

Speaker 5 (33:41):
Out for some reason.

Speaker 6 (33:42):
I think it's good to set the boundaries. That's kind
of harsh meet me there, But at some point you
just got to tell people straight up.

Speaker 4 (33:48):
But he's passive, aggressively being kind of like weird about this.
I think you have to talk to her straight up.
I don't think approaching it like this is going to
do anything.

Speaker 5 (33:58):
Yeah, at least be playful first. Why are you late again?
You know I'm not going on.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
I don't know if I could be playful after so
many times?

Speaker 5 (34:05):
Yeah, why not just go pick her up?

Speaker 3 (34:07):
Just go pick her up?

Speaker 5 (34:08):
And then you're sitting out their weight daughter.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
And that's not always gonna be the situation. I think
people need to respect each other's time. But when you
give someone an ultimatum, this is pretty much an ultimatum. Yeah,
when you give someone an ultimate, ultimatums don't work.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
You don't think so, No, you can't nobody ultimate.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
It doesn't work because at the end of the day,
you're right off the bat. When you give someone that scenario,
they want to go against everything you're saying.

Speaker 6 (34:32):
I think probably so, yeah, because it's like I'm independent,
I'll do what I want kind of thing. But can
you also switch up the times, like can't you do
the old trick?

Speaker 5 (34:41):
Well we're leaving at five?

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Oh no, I have done that before. Yeah, same, but
tread with caution because when they do find out that
you were lying about the time, yeah, it doesn't always
go over well because then it's like, wait, I had
an extra hour, Yeah, but you were going to be late.
So now we're on time, right, because I did that
once and then we were early and I'm like, well
we got about a half hour to kid, and she
was like, what are you talking about? Well, I told

(35:02):
you five, but it's really six.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Okay, didn't go the way I thought of wo Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
I mean I wonder if this girl's good looking.

Speaker 9 (35:09):
Because she's good looking, he probably let his slide, you
know the way.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
So you think, okay, this is interesting. You think she's
the way it's going right now, you think she's ugly.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
I think she's okay because I know the tables returned.
A girl with a good looking dude, a girl let
him slide.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
I just I don't see this working out.

Speaker 4 (35:27):
It was so weird.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
I'm just saying time after time.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
No, you got to say something. It's rude. The ultimate
it's not going to work. But I would say, listen,
can we fix this? Because this is my reputation that
you're ready.

Speaker 5 (35:40):
He's starting getting spicy about it.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
Anytime a man says her inability, the word inability, that's
saying it to another level. I don't see this relationship last.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I don't see it last and past this weekend. But
what's the verdict?

Speaker 6 (35:52):
Yeah, Look, I think this girl is guilty of being
a rude Rachel because being late all the time is rude.

Speaker 11 (35:57):
It is.

Speaker 6 (35:59):
When we can I realize it's rude, it's disrespectful.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
She's not a too late Tanya. She's a tardy tip
for sure. I like a Tardi tip. Yeah, she is
guilty of being a rude Rachel's.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Tough stories on the Tents with Billy's Kid in.

Speaker 10 (36:15):
The morning only on the New Mix one O two
point nine.

Speaker 4 (36:18):
I got some money coming up a few one thousand dollars,
get that eight to forty. Then we do it on
the forties every hour pretty much all day. If you
want some cash, get it. That'll cheer you up. On
a Monday, Candice slow Paz, what is going on?

Speaker 5 (36:28):
Well, we have much calmer weather for the work week.

Speaker 6 (36:30):
Looks dry this week. The sun of me out later today,
which is good. We'll get up to about eighty four
and then warm up close to ninety at midweek before
rain chances again next weekend.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Yesterday. It was kind of crazy though.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
Didn't hail by you, No, it didn't.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
It hailed a little bit at my house at Carrollton.
I know some of my friends at four Worst, so
they got hailed on. I was like, it came out
of nowhere too.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
Yeah, yeah, no, we were pretty good.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
It's sixty degrees outside right now though. Just a heads up,
and we have new details on the man who died
after being hit by a Frontier Airlines plane at Denver
International Airport over the weekend. So the flight had been
cleared for takeoff, went about thirty seconds into that plane moving,
the pilot suddenly stopped.

Speaker 5 (37:08):
That plane.

Speaker 6 (37:09):
Video from a passenger shows smoke inside the cabin before
it was evacuated. But they're saying this man jumped the
airport's fence and was struck two minutes later while crossing
that runway. But at first everyone thought, you know, this
has to be an airport employee, but they said this
was just a trespasser.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
That flight was.

Speaker 6 (37:26):
Canceled, the runway remains closed for investigation, and just a
wild story that happened late Friday night.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
I mean, we obviously don't know what happened. Yeah, somebody's
having some mental issues, right, or substance issues, because there's
no way you don't see a plane on a.

Speaker 6 (37:41):
Runway right, or climb a fence around an airport perimeter.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Yeah, people were recording, you know, because people record sometimes
and you're taking off and whatnot, and you can see
the plane out of the window, just a big ball
of fire.

Speaker 9 (37:53):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
And then they had to evacuate the plane because there
was smoke coming in. And it was just, oh man,
what an awful You could hear because I listened to
the air traffic control of the pilot saying what happened.
You could tell in his voice he was just devastated.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
Yeah, and obviously you could do it at that point.
No awful. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:14):
Well, guys, if you see more bikes on the road lately,
here's the reason.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
It is Bike to Work Week. The City of.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
Dallas has partnered with Dart to promote Bike to Work
Day on Friday. So there's gonna be some events going on,
some road closures because of this.

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Also, I mean gas is expensive.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Oh no, I get it. But you want to talk
about a hot topic, talk about these cyclists that are
ount remember we had the woman called for a dirty
little secret she admitted or was it here? She can't remember?
She was she yeah, she hit a cyclist and kept
going yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:43):
And then like the next week there was someone that
went viral a video of someone hitting a cyclist and
everyone was hitting me up like is this the person?
I was like, no, that was in Florida, I think
another state, but I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
And she was like, you know what, I'm sorry, but
I don't feel bad. He was, okay, but I don't
feel bad. Get out of the road.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
Yeah, there's right.

Speaker 6 (39:01):
Well, the good news is they do Dallas Bike Ride,
which is a twenty mile car free social ride through
downtown Dallas, Uptown and Bishop Arts District that happens on
Saturday and then it finishes at Dallas City Hall.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
Those are really fun. We had those when I lived
in Los Angeles and they would shut all the streets down.
You just ride and it was really fun. I mean
hundreds of people would show up just to you know,
pedal around with each other. You love riding bike, yeah,
I do.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Don't you rune a BMX?

Speaker 8 (39:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (39:24):
I have a BMX.

Speaker 6 (39:26):
It's like an adult BMX bike because the other one.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
The seat was like not.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Yeah, yeah, I like that. You put adult in front
of it. It's an adult BMX.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
Isn't it? I think so?

Speaker 4 (39:36):
No, it is, it is, But I mean the BMX
a BMX.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
Ye, what's the only bike to ride work this week?

Speaker 4 (39:42):
I think I'm gonna do it.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
That'd be fun.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
Yeah, I think I could do that. Pool you want
to ride to work?

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (39:47):
D you live further than I do.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
I need a bike, though, I don't think that counts.
I think so, guys.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
Katy Perry has just been announced to perform before the
first World Cup game here in the US. The concert
it will happen ninety minutes before the US men's national
team plays their first match. We're only about a month
away from this kicking off, but FIFA does plan opening
ceremonies in each host nation.

Speaker 5 (40:11):
This performance.

Speaker 6 (40:12):
They're saying it'll be kind of like a Super Bowl
halftime show right around thirteen minutes. It'll feature Katie Future,
Black Peaks, Lisa, a few other artists, and then there
will also be performances in Houston and Philadelphia before the
July fourth matches.

Speaker 5 (40:26):
So, yeah, the hype is starting to build.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
But I'm hearing people say that, like the economic impact
is not looking as great as they had planned for.

Speaker 4 (40:34):
It to be.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
Why.

Speaker 6 (40:35):
Yeah, I don't know if it's just something that has
to do with hospitality industry or if people are you know,
doing this.

Speaker 5 (40:43):
Staying at airbnbs and things like that which.

Speaker 6 (40:45):
Are impacting like the city specifically.

Speaker 4 (40:47):
Right, I've heard it's going to be huge for the city.

Speaker 6 (40:49):
I mean, we'll see still, you know, a month ago
before it kicks off.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
But I'm not excited about the traffic though. Yeah, you
know it's going to be a hot mess.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
Oh yeah, ride your bike if you want. I'm Kanna's Low.
Those are your Texas top stories. It's a hot tage.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Let us know what you think.

Speaker 10 (41:04):
Here's today's hot take.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Makes one or two point nine a bill at a
kid Candaelow pass producer Pood. By the way, we got
one thousand dollars coming up next if you want it
one grand. We give away so much cash on the
forties pretty much every hour all day. An extra thousand
dollars would be nice any time of the year. Oh yeah,
you don't even want to know what it cost me
to fill out the other day.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
I'm like, are you kidding me. No, I am going
to ride my bike to work.

Speaker 5 (41:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
It was like one hundred bucks to fill up. Yeah,
and it got me nowhere. I felt like, I mean, yeah,
let me start.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Money's not going as far as it used to.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
Not at all. We got cash that's coming up next
and so many chances to win all day. Now, let
me ask you this because yesterday was Mother's Day, and
I could picture this situation happened, happening to people on
multiple situations, maybe even with you, Candace. There's a big
debate going online. It's an etiquette question if you're driving.
If a guy's driving and he's going somewhere with his

(41:55):
girlfriend or maybe his wife and his mother, who gets
the front seat?

Speaker 5 (42:02):
His mom? Oh yes, yeah, right off the bat.

Speaker 6 (42:06):
Always yeah, the person with the most cloud or most priority,
high priority person.

Speaker 5 (42:11):
Or the tallest because I know, look at me.

Speaker 6 (42:15):
I'm never sitting in the front yesterday.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Have you ever sat in the front seat of a car.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
I actually sat in the front seat yesterday because my
dad forced me to. And my dad sat in the
back and let Eric drive us to the Rangers game
because Eric likes to drive. Yeah, and so my mom
and Enzo and my dad sat in the back seat,
and I was like, Dad, No, my dad's like six'.
Two i'm, well he's got a new truck with plenty of.
Room he's, Like i'm totally. FINE i scooted my seat

(42:40):
up as.

Speaker 5 (42:40):
Far AS i. Could but LIKE i sat in the front. Yesterday,
okay it's.

Speaker 4 (42:44):
Rare its very.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
RARE i always go to the, back even in your.
CAR i went to the back, one.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
Which was so rude that who wouldn't let you sit
in the.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Front she automatically went back, there AND i was, like.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
NO i was, Adamant i'm gonna sit back. Here i'm.
FINE i have tiny. Legs you're. Good you're actually.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
It's so small that sometimes we put you in the.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
Trunk we're all sit in the. Middle kis his pocket.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
Size you are your travel.

Speaker 5 (43:08):
SIZE i don't have a problem sitting in the.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
Back. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:11):
Okay, well there's a viral video going on right now
that's going crazy where a guy's. Girlfriend the girlfriend takes
the front seat of the car right. Automatically she just
sits in the front, seat like this is my boyfriend
AND i And i'm gonna sit in the front. Seat
the mother walks up and, Says i'm not sitting in
the back. Seat you need to get, out. Right mom

(43:32):
walks up and like you gotta get. Out. Wow the
girl refuses to get. Out it's, like, no why WOULD
i get? Out like what power? Struggle immediately she's, like
why WOULD i get? Out i'm not gonna just get out.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
From what stand off with his mom.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
Has a many. Standoff then she ends up getting. Out
the guy's trying to calm everybody, down you, Know he's, like,
oh it's not that. Serious. Whatever girlfriend gets, out storms
inside and says That i'll just. Myself.

Speaker 5 (44:02):
Yeah would she rather drive herself than sit in the back.

Speaker 4 (44:04):
Seat she went, inside got in her own, car and
mom got in the front and is like and you know,
What mom's, Stinging mom singing she's not the. One no,
not she's not the. One BUT i, mean are We
is it that big of a. Deal, no it's not
a big deal at. All who sits in the front? Seat?

Speaker 5 (44:20):
No who? Cares we're still getting?

Speaker 10 (44:22):
There?

Speaker 4 (44:22):
No is the girlfriend? Right? No but is the mom? Right?

Speaker 9 (44:25):
No, No mama gotta go up. FRONT i MEAN i get,
It mama gotta go up.

Speaker 4 (44:31):
Front but. Period because then people online are like how
dare this boyfriend not step in and, say, no my
mom's gonna sit up. Front.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
Right that puts him in the worst position. POSSIBLE i, mean.

Speaker 4 (44:41):
What a silly thing to argue. About is this really that?

Speaker 6 (44:43):
SERIOUS i, mean when you have two women who are
possibly high, maintenance you, know at the same, time you're
kind of in a.

Speaker 5 (44:49):
Mess you know somebody's got to back. DOWN i always
just go to the.

Speaker 4 (44:53):
BACK i would say, THIS i would, say you know,
what how about one of you. Drive i'll sit in the.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
Back that's a good.

Speaker 4 (45:02):
Solution i'm just curious what happens eight three threes seven eight,
seven one oh two. Nine there's always these little power
struggles when it comes to BECAUSE i don't feel like
guys deal with this like a man and a.

Speaker 5 (45:13):
Father in, law, RIGHT i don't feel like we.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
Ever have these. Situations BUT i feel like girlfriends or you,
know wife's and mom in laws have these fights all
the time about the littlest, stuff whether it's, cooking whether
IT'S i mean, everything and you you don't really have that, Though.
Cannis you don't have that. Dynamic, NO i.

Speaker 6 (45:33):
Don't my mother in law doesn't live close to, us
so when she comes to. Town it's kind of like
whatever she, wants whatever she wants to feel comfortable in our,
home or, like let's let her decide because we do
this routine all the. Time so but obviously the mom
takes the priority for.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
Me there was even one situation where there was a
big debate online BECAUSE i guess this couple lived in
an apartment and the guy was upset, because, well when
my mom comes to town and and his girlfriend live,
Together when my mom comes to, town we can sleep
on the couch and we let my mom sleep in our.
Bed yeah, wow, yeah, YEAH i would do.

Speaker 6 (46:06):
That so two people are going to sleep on the
couch so one person can have a.

Speaker 5 (46:09):
Bed that is.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
Weird how is that? Weird that's your? Mama you would do?

Speaker 9 (46:14):
That, yes, YES i.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
WOULD i.

Speaker 5 (46:17):
Would that's.

Speaker 4 (46:17):
Bizarre, wow that's your. MOM i mean, NO i MEAN
i love my, mom But i'm saying even IF i
was like in the mom's, SHOES i would be, like, no, no,
No i'll sleep on the. Couch, Right i'm definitely not
going to get in your.

Speaker 6 (46:29):
Bed or if you don't have a bed for, ME
i just don't stay, here, right you, Know, YEAH i,
KNOW i guess sometimes it's expensive you're staying for a
long period of. Time you can't stay in a hotel
for a long. Time but we also can't sleep on
the couch together for a long period of, time right.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
Exactly so let me ask you. This if you have a.
Girlfriend let's say you have a girlfriend right, right and
you're in this weird situation where you know your mom's
coming to town and you live in an, apartment you would, say, hey,
baby we're gonna go ahead and sleep on the couch
for the next three four. Days, yeah my mom's, bedroom and, okay, girlfriend.
Girlfriend your girlfriend's, like, ah that's kind of. Strange, Listen,

(47:07):
uh everybody feels my. Play black moms don't play. That
i'm just telling you right. Now my, mom when she was,
alive she didn't play, that and she commanded. Respect So
i'm just gonna be, like, yeah whatever my mom, wants
so your mom will get priority over your girlfriend or.

Speaker 3 (47:21):
Wife, Absolutely i'll tell you that right. Now i'll tell
you that right.

Speaker 4 (47:26):
Now Maybe i'll tell you right, now.

Speaker 5 (47:30):
Can on the couch for your mom to have.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Canna trying to do? It what if with you two
with you and, poo here we, Go, okay what you
And poo are. Together it's so.

Speaker 5 (47:43):
Weird you been married for two.

Speaker 4 (47:45):
Years Now mom's gonna come visit and he's, Like, hey
you're gonna sleep on the couch with. Me my mom's
gonna Taken what do you.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
Say i've just got my own. Apartment, yes.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
It's mixed on two point NINE a bail at a
kid Candas loan pests Producer poo shout out to the.
Moms hopefully you had the best day ever. Yesterday happy
Late Mother's, Day, Candas how was? Yours that was?

Speaker 5 (48:09):
Great?

Speaker 6 (48:10):
Good, YEAH i THINK i had the Most Father's Day
Mother's day. Ever though this my brother pointed out towards
the end of the night when we were at The
rangers game, yesterday.

Speaker 4 (48:18):
All because you went to The rangers. Game, yeah that
was my, idea you can kind of have A Father's
Day Mother's.

Speaker 1 (48:23):
Day.

Speaker 6 (48:23):
Yeah, Well bailey And gallon invited me out to host
my family in their sweet, yesterday and it just happened
to Be Mother's.

Speaker 5 (48:29):

we do the mom's.

Speaker 4 (48:38):
PICK i was just, say all the guys in the
family had the best day.

Speaker 5 (48:40):
Ever, yeah because they got to go To, yeah they
had fun.

Speaker 4 (48:44):
Too Didn't enzo catch up foul?

Speaker 6 (48:45):
Ball yeah it didn't catch, it but it came right
into our row and mounsin and then he picked it.

Speaker 4 (48:50):
Up so that was my dream as a. Kid my entire,
LIFE i used to bring my glove to every single.
Game asked me how many fall BALLS i? EVER i
never call? One, no not one in my entire. Life
still is a groun. Up i've never caught. One follow
me the, ODDS i don't. Know, YEAH i don't. KNOW
i mean. PERFECT i have had the guy in front
of me catch, one the guy next to me catch,

(49:11):
one and even you see those videos where it's, like you, know,
Well i'm gonna give it to the little, kid, right
it never got. One even WHEN i was a little.
Kid one TIME i had a grown man rip it
out of my. Hands, NO i didn't have. That i'm gonna,
say who just said something very interesting THAT i want to,
mention Which i'm gonna let. Cannics i'm not gonna go
IN i pooh too, Much, okay who just lives a

(49:33):
very interesting life that's sometimes so. Intriguing and after knowing
him for decades and, Decades i'm still, like. Wow.

Speaker 6 (49:40):
Yeah, well earlier this, morning you mentioned that you took
your kids to dinners last, night right because it Birken stocks.

Speaker 4 (49:46):
And listen to why listen Why now.

Speaker 6 (49:49):
You're saying that you gave them money and the option
to take their mom to dinner or.

Speaker 3 (49:54):
Shopping.

Speaker 9 (49:55):
YEAH i was, like, hey you want to take your
mom and you know you're not together with, mom no
note at? All, okay were coparing very, well, right, Good
AND i, said you, know here's some, money y'all could
take your mom out to, eat maybe take it to.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
Dinner.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Yeah they opted out out of that.

Speaker 4 (50:12):
Option so what do you mean by that?

Speaker 9 (50:14):
THOUGH i mean they rather they ended up spending the,
money taking the money and spending it on. Themselves AND
i was, like they're definitely your, kids so wait, on.

Speaker 5 (50:26):
Don't you force? Them that was my.

Speaker 4 (50:29):
Point i'm, like.

Speaker 5 (50:29):
There's no option. Here this is money for your, mass.

Speaker 4 (50:32):
Money for your mom that you're gonna buy her a. Gift,
Yeah and you were, LIKE i, mean, hey do what you. Want.
NO i was just, like because you're a very strict.
Parent believe it or, not who's a Strict i'm a helicopter. Parent,
no you're not a helicopter. Parent there's a difference between
a strict parent and a helicopter.

Speaker 9 (50:48):
Parent what's a Helicopters you on them all the?

Speaker 4 (50:51):
TIME i mean you're. Strict that means you're just you
hover over them all the time and you're scared of
everything happening and blah blah. Blah, yeah you're kind of
a trick. Parent YES i, am which is weird because
people wouldn't expect. That SO i find it hard to believe.
That you were just, Like, okay you're not going to
spend on anyr, mom then all? Right?

Speaker 5 (51:08):
Cool.

Speaker 9 (51:09):
YEAH i was just, like so you're not going to
get your mom. Anything AND i let them roam around
because their friends were up there at firewheel and.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
Stuff they ran into them AND i let them roll.

Speaker 9 (51:18):
AROUND i was, like here's some, money you, know here's
well ACTUALLY i gave him my debit card AND i was, like,

Speaker 6 (51:42):

the law down that this is for. Mom you have
to do something for. Her so now we've just said
nothing for. Her but unless they justified it by, saying.

Speaker 5 (51:52):
Well now mom doesn't have to buy us working, Stock i'm.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
Surprised he's so chill about.

Speaker 9 (51:56):
IT i was a little upset AND i just told, him,
like you can't be doing that because it reflects on,
me because she's gonna be, like you.

Speaker 4 (52:03):
Know you're not obligated to buy her a. GIFT i
MEAN i feel LIKE i should you? DO i, mean,
well THEN i messed. UP i sent a text to
my son's. Mom, okay but BUT.

Speaker 3 (52:16):
I usually get her now, LISTEN i don't get her.

Speaker 4 (52:18):
Like because you miss her.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
Though no, no.

Speaker 5 (52:21):
No, no but she's not remarried.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Either, no, no she got a, dude but she.

Speaker 5 (52:24):
Does she.

Speaker 9 (52:25):
Does, yeah BUT i don't go all out and be like,

Speaker 6 (52:28):
You is it his responsibility to teach her?

say the risk to the public is. Low they're, saying
this is not ANOTHER, covid but this facility In omaha
has twenty single, person three hundred square foot rooms with
negative air pressure systems to contain any possible. Viruses they

(56:03):
